Whatever It Takes

Pairing: Loki Laufeyson x Female!Reader

Warnings: angst, hating loki for what he's done, only one bed trope

Summary: You hate Loki and everything he stands for. He ruined a bunch of lives, and you don't want to hear some bullshit on how the mind stone influenced him. He knows he's not a bad person, and he has to figure out a way to prove that to you.

You take some puzzle books and shove them into your bag along with some coloring books and markers. Where you’re going is known to have spotty Wi-Fi service despite you having the best service, so you’re making sure to bring something to do when you can’t get online. The last thing you put into your bag is noise-canceling headphones so you don’t have to listen to Loki yap the whole time.

The thought of him makes you so angry. You slam your headphones into your bag and zip it up angrily. You’re more than happy to go on missions for the team, but you’re not happy with going on missions that Loki is going on. Even worse, you two are going to be alone for this one. This is a highly sensitive mission that can only have a couple of people on it, and they chose you and him.

You haul your bag to the living room where Natasha and Tony are waiting for you. Loki is still getting ready but he can take his fucking time. You don’t like Loki and you’re not shy about it. Everyone, including him, knows your dislike for him.

“Where’s the fire?” Nat asks when you stomp past her.

“I don’t know why I’m going on this mission. Why can’t you go?”

“You can hack your way through anything. Right now, we need that skill. I’m not a hacker. I kill things to get what I want. You sneak in the back door.”

“Okay, why does he have to go?”

“He’s a master of illusions. You’re the perfect pair.”

“Don’t call us that,” you roll your eyes. “It’s bad enough I have to go with him, but going alone? Why do I have to be alone with him? Come with us.”

“You know why we can’t. The less people, the better. It’s only for a week. You can handle being with him for a week. I’ll even take your next two missions for you.”

“Fine,” you sigh. “Let’s get this over with. Loki! Hurry up!”

Loki appears seconds after you call him with his bag slung over his shoulder. He knows you don’t like him. You make sure everyone knows it whenever you’re within close proximity to him. He doesn't feed into your dislike because that would only egg you on so he silently takes whatever you give to him. It’s cute how angry you can get at him.

Your anger is justifiable. After all, he is the one who fucked with New York and brought an alien race to kill humans. He took Clint and used him as a puppet for his own greed. He killed eighty people in two days. He’s the one who let the Dark Elves into Asgard, causing a war to be brought to Earth. He’s not a good person despite him telling you over and over again that the mind stone influenced him for most of it.

“Have fun, you two,” Tony smirks, “but not too much fun.”

“Gag me,” you roll your eyes. “It’s not going to happen.”

You take your bag to the car while Loki stays behind with Nat and Tony.

“Be gentle with her. I don’t need her coming back in pieces.”

“I’ll check in in a few days,” Loki chuckles and walks out to the car. You fit your bag in the trunk leaving just enough room for Loki’s bag. He heaves it into the car and shuts the trunk. “Give me the keys.”

“Hell no. I’m driving.”

“Darling, you’re a terrible driver.”

“No, I’m not, and I’m not going to let you drive. I don’t trust you behind the wheel with my life in your hands. I’m driving and you can back the fuck off.”

Loki could have won this entire argument if he wanted to, but he’ll let you have this one. If you two are going to be stuck with each other for a week, he’s gonna have to pick his battles around you. This won’t be the only fight and it certainly isn’t the last.

You two pile into the car, and you’re off. Loki turns to you to say something but you immediately turn the music on so you can’t hear him. Loki sighs and lets you have your tantrum, but he does want to talk to you. He lowers the music to speak but you cut him off.

“Let’s get one thing straight, shall we? We’re doing this mission together but that’s all this is. The mission. I don’t want to talk to you unless it’s work-related. Got it?”

“You’ve got to talk to me sooner or later about something else.”

“I choose later,” you smile sweetly and turn the music up again.

Tony is responsible for your shelter and he picks the worst fucking place on the planet. The motel he chose is run-down and old with the sidewalk chopped up, the paint in the parking lots is so faded it’s hard to tell where the next parking spot is, the building looks like it’s going to collapse any second, and the numbers on the doors are no longer there. Only a faded shadow of what was.

The inside isn’t much better, but what did you expect? The people you’re targeting are weapons dealers who choose places like this for a reason. No one would go looking for someone if they were here. Tony is one of your good friends but you’ve always hated his sense of humor. If you call him now, he’s going to say it’s a mistake on his part because there is only one bed. One bed that you and Loki have to share.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” you huff out in anger.

“It’s only a bed, love,” Loki says and walks inside.

“I’m sleeping on the floor.”

“Be my guest.”

It’s already too late to do anything so you two get ready for bed. You grab two pillows and drop them on the floor. This isn’t going to be very comfortable but you’ll do it if it means not sharing a bed with Loki. After you brush your teeth, Loki prepares to take a shower. He closes the door before he gets undressed, and you glance over in curiosity. He hasn’t closed the door all the way so you can see him through the sliver.

His back is turned to you but damn, it’s a muscular back. He may be lean but he has well-defined muscles. Thor likes to show his off while Loki is more reserved. His pale skin glistens in the dim glow of the bathroom light, and you look away before he catches you staring. Yes, he’s quite handsome for a God. You’re not blind, you have eyes. No, stop it. He’s a bad person. He’s not handsome.

You shake your head and grab the top blanket layer on the bed to get comfortable. Your back is going to hurt the whole time you’re here but you refuse to sleep on the same bed as him. Loki finishes his shower quickly and quickly changes into silk pajamas. Of course, this motherfucker would have silk pajamas.

He walks out as he’s drying his hair and scoffs when he sees you on the ground.

“Really? You’re going to sleep on the floor?”

“Yes, now go to bed.”

“You can have the bed.”

“No, you take it. I’m fine down here,” you say stubbornly.

Loki sighs and doesn't argue as he gets into bed. An hour after the lights are out, you’re no closer to sleep than you were before. Every time you move, you end up knocking some part of your body onto the cold ground, and it’s starting to piss Loki off.

“Darling, come up here,” Loki finally says.

“No.”

“I will pick you up off this floor and tie you to the bed if you don’t get in it yourself.” If you’re being honest, the thought turns you on. He will make good on his promise so you stand up and transfer the pillows and blanket to the bed. You get in it but stay at the very edge. There is no way you’re going to be touching him in any way. “You’re being a child.”

“Shut up and go to bed.” You close your eyes to get some sleep when you feel his cold hand on your skin. Chills run down your spine but you’re not sure if it’s from how cold he is or if you’re turned on. You quickly slap his hand away before you get your answer. “Don’t touch me.”

Loki chuckles and lays on his back. An hour later, he can hear your soft snores that he finds adorable. Knowing he’s safe, he grabs your waist and pulls you into him. Subconsciously, you snuggle into him which makes him smile. He runs the back of his finger down your cheek gently so as to not wake you up.

“God, if only you knew what you did to me,” he mutters.

He has to find a way to make you see he’s not a bad guy, and he’ll do it for the rest of his life if that’s what it takes.

Ghost. - part 5: The Night We Met.

SUMMARY: Loki meets sombody at the TVA he once knew. Unfortunately she doesn't seem to remember him.

TVA, 2021

Loki knew what he had to do. He had seen fragments of her, the SHIELD agent, in Lydia, the consultant at the TVA. The one he knew was buried inside, somewhere beneath layers and layers of paperwork. He had seen her bright eyes when she stepped forward on a case, the satisfied murmurs when she took the first bite of cake, and how she played with the pen when she was bored. All he had to do was bring her out into the open.

There were no starry skies at the TVA, that was true, but he was the god of mischief, and creating one would be child's play.

"Lydia Princhett," Loki called from the entrance of the library, seeing her sitting with her back to a desk and earning some glares from others present.

"Loki... of Asgard?" Lydia asked, turning slowly towards him, confused by his use of her full name.

Loki crossed the room in long strides and positioned himself beside the desk.

"Come, I want to show you something."

"Uhm, can it wait? I'm working, and I'm about to close the case—" Lydia glanced from him to the documents.

"Nope, let's go," Loki gently grabbed her arm, lifting her from the desk.

"Come on, Loki, I'm serious," she whined.

"So am I," Loki flashed her a big smile, raising his eyebrows. "Let's go," he pulled her along towards the library's exit.

"But where?" Lydia asked as she was dragged through the TVA's corridors.

"It's a surprise."

"I don't like surprises."

"I know," he smiled, "but you'll like this one" he assured, opening a door that led to a circular room, completely empty except for a table with a couple of chairs and a computer.

"Wow," Lydia took a few bored steps inside, moving towards the center of the room, "an interrogation room, never seen one of them empty" she crossed her arms.

Loki closed the door behind him, approaching her and entering her personal space.

"Close your eyes."

"Why?" Lydia tried to muster a smile to hide the embarrassment of having him so close.

"Trust me."

It's not that she didn't trust him, but the voice he used, deep and calm, was akin to a command, yet reassuring. Lydia took a deep breath, trying to calm her heartbeat, before closing her eyes.

"Now open them" he whispered against her ear.

Lydia opened her eyes and saw that the walls and ceiling of the room had transformed into a vast starry sky. She looked at the ceiling with her mouth agape, taking a few steps around the room. She knew where it ended, and she knew it had to be an illusion created by Loki, but she feared that if she got too close to the walls, it would disappear.

When she turned her gaze back to Loki, she saw him settling down on a blanket that Lydia knew wasn't there before.

She approached him and sat down beside him.

"It's beautiful" she smiled then shifted her gaze to the sky and furrowed her brow slightly "but I can't find any constellations."

"You can't, or at least not the ones you know," Loki smiled, drawing her gaze "this is the sky of Asgard."

"Oh" she commented softly.

"You see, that's the constellation of the centaur” Loki smiled pointing to a group of stars“there's a whole legend associated with that,"

“Would you like narrating?” She smiled.

Loki was happy to oblige.

They spent a long time, not that it mattered at the TVA, talking about the stars, then about their worlds. Lydia was particularly curious to know about Asgard, and Loki wasn't particularly opposed to the idea of telling her everything (again). From there, they talked about their lives, funny anecdotes from childhood, Lydia dislocating her arm while jumping from tree to tree in her backyard, Loki as a snake trying to bite Thor, his battles alongside his brother, her training in SHIELD, and the discovery of her giant nature for him.

In the end, they laid on the woolen blanket, staring at the fake sky above their heads.

Loki realized there was so much about Lydia he didn't know, despite thinking he knew everything; while Lydia realized that, despite the perfect illusion projected on the wall, the brightest stars were Loki's eyes that shone when he talked about his home and dimmed when he talked about his family.

"Do you miss them a lot?" She turned on her side to look at him.

Loki lowered his gaze for a moment before bringing it back to her, brushing her hand with his. "I miss many people" he smiled sadly.

And Lydia saw it. The ghost on his face. It appeared often when he looked at her. She knew that, in his timeline, they knew each other, and she saw that sometimes when he looked at her, he didn't see her, but another person. One who resembled her. And she felt guilty, somehow, wearing her skin, which was such a sad memory for him.

"Loki," she murmured, hesitating and reciprocating the caress on his hand "who was I to you?"

He looked at their hands and furrowed his brows. "It's hard to explain. We were friends, I suppose, although that's not quite accurate. I... cared a lot about you, and you... cared about me too."

Lydia lowered her gaze, swallowing, taking a deep breath. "How did we meet?"

Loki would have preferred to avoid that conversation. "As you know... I've done things in the past I'm not proud of. One of them was," Loki wanted to dig a hole and bury himself in it "trying to invade Earth. And... you could say that you helped me."

Lydia widened her eyes incredulously before shaking her head with a little laugh "Impossible."

"No, no, it's true," Loki sat up. "We weren't friends at first, but then you understood. You understood why I had to do it, and you helped me open the portal for the invasion."

"Loki, I don't know what happened there, in the past or... well, in my future, but I'm certain of one thing" she sat up to his level "there's no universe, dimension, or time where I would betray my country, and the fact that we were friends doesn't change things."

Her words didn't please Loki, who looked at her with hurt eyes, as if she were a monster. They stared at each other for a moment before Loki stood up abruptly.

"Very well," he gestured with his hand, making the illusion surrounding them disappear and returning the room to its pale colours. He strode across the floor and reached the only piece of furniture in the room: a desk with an old-fashioned computer. "If you don't want to believe me, at least believe in yourself."

Loki started pressing keys on the computer, and a screen activated on the wall in front of them.

"Or are you too afraid of the truth? Of finding out who you really are?"

Lydia met his challenging gaze with one of coldness. She stood up, approached the desk, and sat in the chair next to Loki's.

Without moving her eyes from his, she reached out a hand and, taking a deep breath, did the only thing she could do. She pressed "play."

I know that magic doesn't work at the TVA, but I didn't remeber that while writing this chapter. I promise this one is the only exception.

Happy days are gone my friends. He was a shitty being, she was too. Time to face that.

SURVEY RESULTS!!

So!! It's that time, folks! By the time this posts, the survey will have formally been closed. Thank you so, so much to the 65 participants. I never expected to get so many responses, and I owe the Warframe community big-time.

I am planning on eventually releasing platform-specific data as I compile it, alongside any other neat correlations I spot. I did this mostly for fun- the assignment's bar was low, but I took it pretty far because I enjoyed it- so I'm not a professional or anything at statistics! There will likely be inaccuracies, and I may occasionally miss data on accident.

So! This post is dedicated to sharing the data from all platforms. The data of everyone who participated is represented under the cut.

A majority of people played often, but not every day, with 27 out of 64 people (42%) giving a 4 out of 5 on how often they feel they play.

The average score for the entirety of the surveyed group was 3.3.

Squad Size

Most Tenno tended to play publicly, with 40% of you reporting so. Behind that, 31% reported playing by themselves typically. The more players involved, the lower the percentage of people who typically played with that amount of squadmates, with 17%, 8%, and 5% rates for squads of two, three, and four respectively.

Mastery Rank

The most common MR among surveyed players was MR 18, Gold Eagle, followed by MR 20, Silver Tiger.

9 players were of Legendary Rank (MR 31 to MR 33)

Warframe In Relation to Player's Gender

A Warframe's gender presentation was primarily irrelevant to players in relation to their own gender presentation. Non-binary and feminine-presenting people were more likely to prefer one gender presentation over the other, with both groups preferring feminine-presenting Warframes.

While the majority of masculine-presenting people reported an indifference to their Warframe's gender presentation, they tended to prefer masculine Warframes over feminine or androgynous Warframes.

And, friends, let me just say I'm really super happy with this years numbers, probably the biggest numbers I've seen in a long time.

I've been thinking about season 2 a lot and how certain character arcs might go/close.

First of all, I do not think we're getting a season 3. Don't get me wrong, I would love it but I think season 2 is the end of Loki's personal journey and as much as I love these characters, I'm fine with the team giving them happy, satisfying endings and shelving them for now.

The original ending of Season 1, before the team went "hey, we have some good stuff right here, let's give these characters another season to really explore them." was that Loki, now healed and changed, left the TVA behind and decided to go off on new adventures somewhere in the multiverse/different realms.

That was confirmed in the official artbook.

And Eric (the head writer for season 2) when asked about the original S1 ending once said that he didn't want to reveal too much because he might use it/some of it in the second season.

I think that season 2 will end with Loki and Sylvie going off somewhere together and Mobius taking over the new and reformed TVA. I think both of these things have already been hinted at in season 1 and it would make sense for their character progression.

Loki does not want to be alone. He made that very clear in season 1, however, he still got separated from the people he cared about - just so we could get season 2. I don't believe season 2 will be a repeat of S1's ending and force him into solitude/loneliness once again.

The show is all about breaking the cycle, can you change, can your fate be changed? And Lokis are supposed to be loners. It makes sense for our Loki to break that cycle of loneliness and finally, for once win.

Sylvie is another character who I can't see ending season 2 alone, especially knowing all the things that will happen in the upcoming season.

Sylvie has always only known loneliness, she said she never had anyone, never had anything except for the mission. That is until she met Loki and for a short while she experienced what's like to have someone in your life who cares about you. At the beginning of episode 5 it was revealed that her time with Loki was her only happy memory, which is devastating to think about. However, unlike Loki, she didn't have that same journey yet, she didn't have the opportunity yet to reflect on certain things, she didn't have the chance yet to forgive herself and grow past her trauma and grief. Which unfortunately led to the separation, but also fortunately gave us season 2.

Sylvie in season 2 is very depressed, very empty, very heartbroken. Her mission's completed but it came with a great cost - she has no goal and has lost her one chance of a happy life.

She's really, really going through it and is in a deep self loathing spiral.

I don't want to go into a spoilerish territory, but in season 2 Sylvie will have to confront her own darkness, a literal visual/external manifestation of her worst traits, of her worst future. The stubbornness, the pain, the guilt, loneliness... you name it.

Loki was able to change because of the people he surrounded himself with and because he saw his own future and realized how meaningless his life was and how much hurt he caused to the people who loved him.

Sylvie will go through a very similar journey.

In episode 5 Loki and Sylvie had a conversation about their plans about the future once this is all over. And I believe it foreshadows their eventual ending in season 2.

Loki: "What about you? What will you do when this is all over?" Sylvie: "I don't know." Loki: "I don't know either. Maybe... Maybe we could figure it out... together." Sylvie: "Maybe."

I think Loki and Sylvie will spend the majority of season 2 trying to fix what happened in episode 6 and trying to confront Sylvie's personal demons. If Sylvie continues on the path of loneliness and self loathing, nothing good will come out of it.

And Loki is aware of that.

It will be his influence that will change her life.

Tom said in 2021 that the story of Loki and Sylvie is about love, acceptance and forgiveness and also added "Love is really the only force that has any power to change things or people."

Sylvie still needs to change. She's in a rough spot right now, deep in self loathing and needs Loki's support to confront and forgive herself for everything that happened.

And once that's all behind them, once they're both healed and on the same page I think they will leave to go somewhere together. Maybe the season will be generous enough and actually tell us where they went. Maybe they found a safe place to stay on a specific timeline and they're living there now, maybe they just tells us that they're going on new adventures together, exploring the multiverse, enjoying the freedom and each other's company. Perhaps they're even travelling the multiverse to make sure everything is stable.

Regardless of what the motive is, they will stay together and 'figure things out' because now they finally have the opportunity to do that. They're reunited, they're healed, they're on the same page and open with their feelings for each other.

Mobius will go through a journey of his own as well. I reckon we will see his past life and I suspect we will be shown that he had a family which will be tough for him, because he knows he can never return to them anymore because his timeline had been erased.

I think that will be another driving force for him to put an end to the TVA that we know and with the help from other agents and friends, turn it into something better, something good.

Something that was already teased in the finale.

Mobius: "We can't take away people's free will, Ravonna. Do you not see that? Look, maybe we can build this into something better together."

I do not think the TVA will dismantle at the end of S2, especially since it's supposed to play a role in Deadpool 3. But I do believe that the TVA will be reformed and changed. They will no longer prune the timelines, they will no longer take away people's free will.

I think that from now on they will only keep making sure that the multiverse continues to thrive in harmony, that there are no people, no time travelers trying to disturb that peace or create issues in certain timelines.

And I think Mobius will become the new head of the TVA. He, like everyone else, cannot return to his timeline, and perhaps he doesn't even want to. Maybe he decided that his purpose is now to ensure the TVA remains good.

In fact, I think all agents will be given the option to either find a timeline for themselves or continue helping around at the TVA.

Maybe even Loki appoints Mobius as the new 'leader' of the TVA, because he knows and trusts him that he will do a good job.

I do think that Loki will remain on friendly terms with the TVA and perhaps it will be even implied that he will visit them from time to time and if necessary he can even come back to help them. But I do no think he's going to stay at the TVA for good.

Not just because Sylvie is probably hesitant (for a good reason) to stay there, but also because Loki doesn't seem like the person who could continue living there for the rest of his life.

So basically, I think Season 2 will end the TVA as we know it, further establish that it NEEDS to be changed, but that timelines also have to be free, find a way to (temporarily) stop the Kang issue (until it all blows up in Deadpool 3 again which then leads directly into the Kang Dynasty), Mobius will become the new head of the reformed TVA, Loki will have a straight up heroic arc in the season, helping the TVA, helping Sylvie, Sylvie will have to face her own demons and go through an epiphany, Loki and Sylvie will end the season together, going somewhere to figure out things together, and we will see the backstories of other notable variants.

Growing their family! Zawe Ashton secretly gave birth to her and fiancé Tom Hiddleston’s first child, Us Weekly confirms.

“Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy,” a source exclusively tells Us. “They have been having the struggles of new parents and aren’t sleeping much but are thrilled.”

The Velvet Buzzsaw actress, 38, first announced she was pregnant in June at the Mr. Malcolm’s List premiere in New York City. Though the Loki actor, 41, stars alongside her in the film, he was not present for the event, so she walked the red carpet solo in a floor-length gown that showed off her growing baby bump.

The Captain Marvel 2 star’s appearance came only two weeks after Hiddleston confirmed the couple were engaged, telling the Los Angeles Times in June that he was “very happy” after popping the question.

The pair first sparked engagement rumors back in March when Ashton was seen wearing a diamond ring 2022 BAFTA Awards. That same month, Us confirmed that Hiddleston had proposed after three years of dating.

The costars were first linked in 2019 following their work together on the West End’s production of Betrayal, only to spark even more speculation when they both transferred to the Broadway version of the play three months later. A source exclusively told Us in November 2019 that the England native and Wanderlust alum “are crazy about each other,” adding that the duo are “truly past the honeymoon phase and “looking to build a long-term future together,” while focusing on their careers.

“They love the finer things in life,” the insider told Us at the time. “They also love to let loose and rock out with friends, whether it’s at a house party or heading to a local bar or restaurant.”

In September 2021, the pair made their official red carpet debut during the 74th annual Tony Awards when Ashton showed up to support her beau, who was nominated for Best Leading Actor for his role in the drama.

Before his relationship with the Josephina star, Hiddleston was previously linked to Elizabeth Olsen, Susannah Fielding and Jessica Chastain. The Thor: Ragnarok actor also made headlines in September 2016 for his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift, which lasted three months before the two called it quits.

In August 2019, Hiddleston opened up about his newfound low-key approach to his romantic relationships following his high-profile romance with Swift, 32. “I’m protective about my internal world now in probably a different way,” the Avengersstar told the New York Times. “If you go through life without connecting to people, how much could you call that a life? Because you have to fight for love. You can’t live in fear of what people might say.”

Hello! I’m not certain that the ask box is the place for this(pretty new to tumblr), but I really wanted to let you know just how much I enjoy the writing you do. I found your a03 towards the end of 2021, and since then I’ve read through everything there and a lot of this blog. (I have tried and mostly failed to navigate live journal.) I absolutely adore your work. Like, it’s going to be hard for me to express just how much joy your writing brings me. But I know that positive feedback is important so I am going to try.

1) The world. Your stories from district two have some of the best worldbuilding that I have ever had the chance to see. It’s hard to explain, but you are very good at making stories that exist in time. The Centre and the Victor’s village have so much depth and weight to them. I can tell that choices were made for a reason, both in the story and outside of it. I feel like every background character could have an entire book written on them, and because of the scale of your writing, a whole lot of them do. District Two feels so real. I understand the career system and why District two didn’t rebel and how all of it adds to the themes that Suzanne Collins wrote THG to address. It’s really extraordinary. When I read hunger games fanfic by other people, I often find myself hoping district 2 will win.

2) The characters. Like above, you have an amazing sense of how characters age and grow over time. They all feel so real, and you are so good at giving each Victor a unique, changing philosophy. Lyme’s gradual path to rebellion, Ronan’s fight to protect his district, even the outlying victors have consistent characterizations. And to make things even more impressive, these characterizations stay consistent across AUs! Normal Alec and Victor Alec are so clearly the same character and it’s just really, really good. Your villains are also utterly despicable. Your version of Coin makes my skin crawl, especially in the ‘canon’ stories where only Enobaria lives. I think my favorite characters are Lyme and Claudius, but everyone is so well done.

3) Self indulgent stuff. As someone who spends too many hours in the day thinking about Marvel, I adore your Avengers Games fics from like 2012. The characters in that are also remarkably well written. The characters in that fic who were in the mcu at the time (the og avengers + loki) feel more in character than in most fan stuff that Ive read. (Is that story continued on the live journal? I really haven’t explored that site). Also, it’s been great to see another person online with similar opinions on TNG, especially on Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. So many fanfic writers forget that Katniss is a flawed girl trying her best, and they also ignore the real, serious issues that Collins wanted to explore with the series. You don’t do that. You don’t glorify the games, but you still manage to make your arena stories exciting and action packed. To quote a recurring theme from the series, you know who the real enemy is. Sorry if that sounded pretentious.

You have clearly put so much time and love into these fanfics over the last twelve years. I am honored that I have had the chance to read millions of words of your work, and I wanted to thank you for that. I hope you are doing well with whatever you do in your offline life!

Loki’s hand runs up and down your legs which sends shivers up and down your spine. If his hands aren’t turning you on, it’s his lips on your skin. You want nothing more than to grind down on him but anyone can walk inside his room and catch you, and then you’ll really be in deep shit.

Loki moves his lips from your mouth down to your neck while still keeping you on top of him, and you close your eyes in pleasure. His cock grows from underneath you and you pull away from him with a frustrated sigh.

“We can’t go there. Your mom might come in.”

“Let her.”

He pulls you back to him and kisses your neck.

“Baby, I wish but sneaking around is just too much fun.”

It’s hard to pull away from him completely but you get off him. He watches you walk into the bathroom butt-ass naked to take a shower that’s long overdue. You take a very quick shower and put on one of Loki’s shirts that happens to be lying in the bathroom. The shirt is big enough to cover your ass but short enough to show the bottom of your cheeks. You leave the bathroom while drying your hair, and Loki groans from the bed.

“What?”

“You’re wearing my shirt.”

“And?” you chuckle.

“Unfortunately, I’m turned on by that.”

You know you shouldn’t be doing this but you climb into bed and straddle his waist once more. He grips your thighs to keep you there but you don’t plan on going anywhere that isn’t in his bed. You lean down and kiss him, and he moves his hands from your thighs to your clothed nipples. He grips both of them between his fingers and tugs, making them stand to attention.

“Loki? You awake?”

His mother knocks on the door and you jump off him in a panic. No one knows you and Loki are dating. In fact, everyone believes you two hate each other. Your family and his have bad blood so if your parents knew you were dating a royal from Asgar, they’d have your head.

You scramble underneath his bed just as Frigga comes in. Loki shifts on the bed and moves the covers so she doesn’t suspect his boner. He has to hide his smirk at your behavior.

“I have invited the Y/L/N’s to dinner.” She walks over to his window and draws the curtains open to let in natural light. “Do me a favor and be nice to Y/N. I think she has a crush on you.”

Frigga doesn’t care who her sons date as long as they are happy. While she and Odin have issues with your parents, that doesn’t mean Loki has to have issues with you.

“Really?” Loki smirks. “I had no idea.”

This motherfucker.

“Of course, you don’t,” she sighs and walks to his bedroom door. “Get ready. They’re coming as soon as it’s dusk.”

When she closes the door behind her, Loki busts out laughing.

“Shut up,” you grumble and hit the underside of his bed. You crawl out from underneath it and stand over him. “You’re an ass, you know that?” You crawl into bed and lay beside him underneath the covers. “It’s filthy underneath there. I’m not hiding there anymore. We’re telling your mother.”

Loki continues to smirk and gets on top of you, moving the covers so it’s not bunched around you two.

“Later. Right now, I’m hungry. I haven’t had my snack yet.”

He slides underneath the covers so that he’s hidden from view, and you chuckle at his crude words. However, that chuckle turns into a strangled moan when his tongue touches your clit.
