TV show: look at this characters. They’re bullied bc they’re an outcast and don’t fit in.
Neurotypicals: Omg they’re so quirky and relatable. I love them.
Neurodivergents: They’re my new comfort character bc I’m and outcast and don’t fit in and am bullied bc of it.
Neurotypicals: lol eww cringe

Alright then, here is my take on the whole shipping discourse in this fandom.
As someone who headcanons that Saiki is aroace with zero romantic or sexual attraction, I think it’s not my job to police anyone who likes to ship him with other characters. I can respect others who do so (and sometimes I find their ideas to be very interesting), and so can you. It’s not like getting angry over this will fix the problem over night.
I do wish less of the fandom was about shipping, because I think that the platonic relationships are the backbone of the series and are worth exploring. Despite that, I absolutely love seeing what people think about different pairings because the fandom is so creative.
It’s important to note that although Saiki says he has no interest in romance, he is written to be an unreliable narrator, meaning it’s hard to tell whether he is explicitly aroace coded or not. I like to think he is, but I don’t think others are wrong for disagreeing.
However, I do understand why someone would be upset with all of this. It is a bit frustrating to see a character you see as aroace be shipped left and right. In that case, it’s best to block users/tags that you are not interested in. Blocking something really isn’t serious, it’s simply a way to make this platform more enjoyable to you.
Anyway, I think this discourse is a bit useless. Let people see the character how they’d like. There’s no use arguing with each other. I think we can learn to respect different opinions.

I think people who say that AO3 donaters should die really need to check themselves
Like, isn't it exhausting ? Constantly thinking that you need to be worrying about every single major world problem at all times ? To the point that you straight-up can't use your own money the way you want ?
Also how many of these people care about smaller-scale problems (relatively smaller, at least). Did they care about the Uyghur Genocide, or the thing that was happening with farmers over here in India ? Or is it only a problem if Murica gets involved ?
I’m certain that the majority of them haven’t donated anything for Palestine either, and their “activism” consists of nothing more than yelling at people who have done nothing remotely related to the I-P conflict online

I know this is going to sound really obvious but…
LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS!
If it has nothing to do with you then why do you even care so much? 🤷🏻♀️

To every terf, bigot, etc coming across this post
Leave us alone
We are bothering nobody
We are literally just living a life
And you don't even have to agree with us, but at the very least we deserve is human decency
I'm going to put this in the language you want to hear.
You can say "men don't get periods" or "trans women aren't women" all you want, you have the right to talk your views (even if they hurt others), but this doesn't make you immune to conciquence
You can name science, even though biology has proven to us that sex assigned is more than male/female. You can name any religious reason under the fucking sun (once again, not without backlash or consequence)
But all of us regardless of views deserve the basic modicum of respect which is:
The right of autonomy (let us be)
The right to comfort
The right to identify as what we want
The right to access healthcare
The right to be identified accurately
The right to not be targeted by hate
How would you feel if we did the same to you? If we removed your right to religion, to healthcare, to protection just because you are who you are, would you be just as patient?
Because im losing my fucking patience. Its gotten so bad thst I've considered detransitioning because of how volatile people are towards the topic. I've been labeled woke, mentally insane, dillusional and a groomer by the right leaning side of everything. These are words I see too often. I'm just living comfortably or at least trying to.
And to all those saying, even if it was a choice to change gender, SO FUCKING WHAT? Why does that mean I should be shunned for feeling differently than someone else?
To the trans allies and trans people who see this:
Keep this going. Add your thoughts, say your bit, or simply just reblog. Let the love outweigh the hate. Every reblog shows that a trans life is deserving of equal respect.

God I hate Twitter so much. All the hate towards milex shippers. My god. This is one of the fandoms that I have been where most people are staying in their boundaries and are being respectful of the people they ship. Only dumb fuvks in twt. Let people do what they want, it's not like they're potentially harming someone. It's just having fun with their stage/ public persona . Not to mention the hate towards Miles, I can't even begin to understand that shit. Wtf. I mean how can you be a fan of TLSP when you don't like Miles. Dumb dumb bitches

I asked my dad if it was okay to go out of the house with my fox tail on... (This is a real fur fox tail that I purchased for 35 bucks at a Ren Faire, mind you)
Dad: "Do you understand what that is?"
Me: "It's a fashion accessory..."
Dad: "No, it's not a fashion statement. It means you're a FURRY! Those are usually attached to a BUTT PLUG! Don't wear those again!"
This tells me two things.
He doesn't approve of furries
He doesn't know what they are
He doesn't want me being one

Gentle Reminder to all artists no matter what medium
Nobody gets to dictate to you what fits in YOUR narrative. YOU are the creator, and what YOU say goes. You create things because YOU like the result. It doesn't matter if other people like it or not. They can suck ass.
You wanna write or draw shit that ain't canon compliant? Go for it, nerd!!!!
You wanna make tiktoks about whatever you damn well please? Go for it, nerd!!!!
You are not a slave to your audience, and you're not responsible for their perspective. Your art is about your perspective regardless of whether people like it or not.

People can find it weird but I love kissing my friends. Like, on the lips. A cute smooch. No strings attached little kiss. Friends with benefits where the benefit is mwah-mwah.

no offense, but people who get upset over people giving characters cute lil visual traits they don't normally have canonically, are weak.

Gender only exists to my grandmother when talking about people / trans rights.
We have two shark vacuums that we named ‘friend’ in Korean and Japanese and refer to as “boys” and our “sons.” The vacuum could have any gender. Grandma doesn’t know. She picks one at random whenever she refers to the vacuums being stuck or missing a spot or making a sound.
Animated characters? She might call them a boy or a girl. Doesn’t matter who it is.
An animal / character / online poster that someone in the family has just used a gender with, she’ll turn around and call them by the wrong gender, within the same conversation.
We have five cats and one dog. One of the cats is male, everyone else is female. She consistently switches the genders of all of the animals. From one telling of a story of the animal to the next telling of the same story, the animal has switched genders. If she says ‘he was doing xyz,’ we honestly have to check to see who she’s talking about, because it could be any of them, not just the boy.
But talk about transgender people, them changing their pronouns or their name, or them wanting equal treatment, and suddenly gender is very strict and she doesn’t understand.
