Wedding Chapter NSFW
The tiny bedroom above the restaurant was bathed in golden morning light that crept in through the window and lay in a warm haze over the two bodies moving slowly under the sheet.
Shutting his eyes, Zemo sighed deeply and slid his hand behind his head, cradling it with a smile. He was completely relaxed in spite of his racing heart.
With his free hand the Baron reached and smoothed his palm over the curve of his wife's head under the white linen and opened his mouth with a light gasp followed by a laugh. She was teasing him.
He'd been woken up by the feel of her warm tongue, soft and wet as she sucked him into her mouth and now she was moaning softly as he filled her, growing until he was fully erect and gently thrusting, sinking into the feel of her full lips stretched around the width of him.
Her small hand pressed against his thigh as she sucked, the other gripping the base, working in tandem with her mouth, increasing the rhythm the more tense he got.
It would not take him long, one look down and he caught a glimpse of her under the sheet, cheeks hollow as she bobbed her head, the soft brown skin of her hand in contrast to his own, her hair was all over the place and tickling his stomach. He wanted to grab her breast but didn't dare move, so instead he raised his chin, his head sinking into the pillow as he thought of the way they looked when she sat on him, bouncing in perfect unison, her dark nipples begging to be sucked and licked and...
Zemo's hand came down on her head, pushing until she gave a muffled yelp, but he held her firm. With a final sigh, the tension gave way and he went rigid holding his breath as the first warm rush shot down her throat—her moaning against his sensitive skin making the release into her mouth all the sweeter.
He could feel her swallowing each time he throbbed which only made him want to come all over again, but there was no hope in drawing it out. With a final powerful pulse, he finished and exhaled with a shaking smile.
Christine was wet and aching for attention as she drank him in. Zemo would of course return the favor with enthusiasm, but for now she'd enjoyed making him feel good.
Knowing how he responded to touch afterwards, she pulled away slowly, listening to the way he moaned again as her teeth and tongue very lightly graze the length of his still solid member until she let him fall free and sat up, running her fingers along the corners of her mouth and over her bottom lip.
She sat there looking quite pleased with herself, that smug little grin making him chuckle. The sheet lay over her hair like a veil reminding him of last night.
His bride...
Zemo reached and ran his hand down her arm, gently gathering her fingers into his own hand.
"Good morning husband" She said, her whisper soft voice tickling his ears.
He gazed at her with the sun shining around her head like a halo. "Good morning wife."
"Sleep well?" She asked rising up to sit on her heels.
Zemo gave a lazy laugh, exhausted from the orgasm and shook his head a little. "No, too much orujo"
"Oh you and Gael are wild!" She laughed too. "But so cute."
"Cute?"
"Yes. Like two puppies." She grinned.
He pretend to not like this but shrugged. "I am—cute—yes, I know." He winked.
Christine snickered shaking her head at him. "I thought I might loose you to him at one point. You two are quite a pair." She teased and he groaned, grabbing her arm to pull her down on top of him.
He took her face in hand, pulling her into a kiss. Her lips tasted like him. He moaned a little remembering the feel of that mouth on his cock which was threatening to rise again. She could work wonders on him without even trying...his bride, his wife. "How are you feeling?" He asked when she raised up. He tucked her hair behind her ear and pinched her chin between his thumb and index like he always did.
"Well enough to wake you." She said wiggling her brows at him. "No sickness yet today...oh! I hope I didn't just jinx it."
Zemo sighed and laid his arm over his eyes. "I should have followed your lead. No drinking." He said amused but angry with himself for overdoing it, but how could he not? The night had been completely perfect. Yes, he'd been married before but this was different. There had been an energy around them that filled the village with a sort of magic that does not happen everyday.
What they'd shared was special and no matter the outcome, he would carry the memory of marrying this woman with him, like a homing beacon, bringing him back to center when all else spun out of control...
~Wearing her flowing suit from the little shop in Malaga and a traditional Spanish veil gifted to her by Gael’s wife, Christine clutched the small bouquet of pink and burgundy flowers from the local florist as she walked down the steps, leaving the tiny apartment above to enter the restaurant’s courtyard, where Zemo stood waiting.
He watched as she came into view, white heels taking the steep incline slowly, her pants flowing light as air around her legs and a thin silk camisole under the draped jacket, both in that same bright ivory.
Christine was radiant, but the unexpected sight of her face framed in the scalloped lace stopped his heart. On flat ground, she looked up, her sparkling black eyes finding his and the man nearly forgot to breathe. Tears pooled, wavering in his eyes as she came to him—his second chance…
Gael and Luisa stood back, watching from the kitchen doorway with wide knowing smiles, and very quietly turned to go back inside leaving them to it.
“Hi.” Christine whispered sounding small and nervous as she waited to hear what he thought. She’d never really been the sort to imagine her wedding day, it had never occurred to her that she would have one, but now that it was here she hoped the Baron liked the way she looked as much as she truly did.
Zemo exhaled a shaking breath through his parted lips in disbelief that she was his.
“Hello,” He replied wanting to touch her but was too afraid that she would break she was such a delicate thing, but then he smiled remembering that this was the same woman capable of taking out assassins three times her size and his face relaxed as he pitied all the men on the receiving end of her wrath. “You’re beautiful.” He said simply, but she heard the many layers of love beneath the word and tucked her chin with a shy smile.
Zemo raised his elbow, offering her his arm which she took and smiled up at him. “You look incredible too.” She said nudging him.
He chuckled as he wiped at his eyes, escorting her to the carved gate.
She meant it. He hadn’t shaved in a few days and the resulting shadow was lovely. His parted hair was a beautiful mop of perfectly coifed dark brown that she would run her fingers through later tonight. The jacket and pants he wore —a few shades darker than his hair— were paired with a cream colored shirt left unbuttoned and no tie. She had a laugh to herself because of course he’d been prepared with a bespoke suit. Had he brought it hoping she would say yes or was Zemo just the sort of man who traveled with tailored clothing ready for any occasion at all times? Running her hand along the fine fabric over his shoulder, she grinned not caring. Either way he was glorious to look at.
Arm in arm they left the restaurant and started the walk through the square towards the famous edge of town, to a spot where people had come to watch the sunsets for thousands of years. By the time they arrived, a small group of well wishers and curious villagers had stopped to watch them stand before the tiny old officiant who had married hundreds before them.
The ceremony was said in Spanish with Helmut translating the vows when it was time for her to repeat the words. Her voice was light as she slipped the gold band—identical to her own— onto his finger as a symbol of the pure, and simple truth of their love. And when they shared that first kiss, it was to the applause of the wind coming down from the mountain to bless their union.
Neither of them would ever be able to recall the walk back, they were so lost in the joy of the day, but one thing Christine would always remember was him whispering sweetly in her ear, some of it in English some in Sokovian, and how he’d kissed her cheek and hand often between waving thanks to the well-wishers who passed them by.
Some of the older folk handed them gold coins as they neared the restaurant insisting they have thirteen until they were properly showered in affection and traditions they did not know but graciously accepted.
When the gates to Gael’s place opened, Christine stood frozen by the transformation in the courtyard. The man’s promise was not unfounded. The restaurant was beautiful. Lit by lanterns and string lights, the tables had been put together in one long line and was now covered in a feast of Paella, croquetas, Jamón, Espetos and all the things Christine could not remember the names of, but once they sat, she ate with enthusiasm as her husband laughed and joked with his childhood friends sharing and passing plates of the delicious food.
The whistles and shouts came any time they kissed —which was often— until one of the old men teased that they needed to sneak into the closet and get it out of their system, which drew laughter and calls of approval from the rowdy crowd. But as the small family band set up in the corner struck a note, Christine suggested a dance instead.
One beautiful song was played for them first which silenced the room.
Gael, with tears in his eyes pulled his own wife close as he watched the way Zemo held his bride with one arm, his other hand keeping Christine’s close to his heart as they swayed to the music that filled the air with a slow, haunting rhythm.
The sound of sniffling and the sight of adoring smiles was the backdrop to their first dance as a married couple until the last strum of the guitar echoed along the stone walls surrounding the full courtyard. Christine rose up and pressed her lips to his, her veil concealing them as they shared a moment that everyone who saw, would always remember. There was such strength in the way they held one another. You could see that these two people had been through much more than most, and were so thankful to have found a sense of peace, here in this forgotten place.
And then —because the night was a celebration— out came the anís, sangria, and Gael’s cousin from Barcelona with the Orujo.
Sober but high on the night, Christine kept up with the party, howling with laughter as Zemo and the other men made adorable fools of themselves while the women danced and sang and adopted her into the multiple families that had continued to trickle in, not wanting to miss the party.
At one point Zemo and a few of the others serenaded Christine with an enthusiastic version of a traditional love song that had her and the women cheering by the end and the Baron pulling his bride up and into his arms to kiss her. A kiss that did not end as the aching desire to consummate the marriage reached its peak. He sat her down taking Christine's hand to lead her away from the wild night to the raucous approval of the crowd.
“Goodnight!” She'd shouted from the door way that led to their little room, a glimpse of the white she wore fluttering up the steps as her laughter faded with their climb~

Yugioh Ep33 S4 pt 2: The Best Storyboarder Came Back Just so They Could Draw Tristan Getting Hit in the Nuts
OK lets just get to the good stuff.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
God bless you, storyboarder.
(read more under the cut)
The team has entered the Atlantis lair of Dartz, which is also accessible through Paradius in San Fransisco, but youknow...we don’t have magic so it’s not like we could’ve skipped like 10 minutes and just done that instead of the helicopter escape, the Military moment, and the ride through a hurricane.
Oh wait, we do have magic, that’s right...well...for now, pretend we don’t.
Enjoy the snakes.
Tumblr media
Strangely, Kaiba does not feel comfortable with the snakes, when snakes really just a smaller and cuter dragon. I love snakes. Never owned one...but I trust em.
Dartz has the Yugioh “old guy” aesthetic of “We just really like yellowed sandstone”
Tumblr media
I get that they want this place (and also Yami’s house) to look like a tomb so there won’t be any paint on the wall but this is just a pet peeve of mine that Ancient times freakin loved garish colors on the wall in layers and layers of patterns and yet in fiction we never show that.
But...it doesn’t go with the vibe. I’ll let it go because it would absolutely ruin the vibe to have a bunch of swirly stuff in neon orange and green.
Tumblr media
Before we have a chance to grab a step stool and just kinda yoink Yugi Muto, Dartz shows up, and this shot happens.
Tumblr media
I couldn’t not grab a cap of that. I mean...look at it. It is SO HARD to foreshorten hands so it looks right and then bam they just did that. It’s just...
...I’ve been breaking down foreshortening in Yugioh shots for a while now trying to figure out why when I do it, it looks like a busted huge hand, but when they do it, it looks really good, and I’m starting to realize that maybe it’s more than just stacking but also...the composition?
You can’t really look at this picture as a whole. The hand is such a strong focal point that you must start there, and then follow down the arm to the face. I think when I do these foreshortening shots I make the hand the same weight as the face, and that’s my downfall. You gotta let the composition force the viewer to slow down and take time in order for the optical illusion to happen...maybe? I’m like over 30 now, you’d think I’d figure this out by now.
Whatever, that’s another post.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So like...what happened to those two people who used to be there????
Tumblr media
And now prepare thyself for my lazy math. I know this math is bad. For people out there who feel like working out the geometric growth and calculate just how many souls Dartz slurps up--feel free to tell me. If I like the explanation, I will adjust the Death Count to match it. It’s just too 2020 for me to do more than multiplication at the moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Did I count how many people would have existed 10,000 years ago? no. Did I account for plagues? No. Like this math of 4 a day is bad...but eh it’s all I got right now in my mental ammunition.
Something that we did think about was...
Why not slurp up the Pharaoh soul when Yami was still alive? Like we assume the puzzle existed in the past but like...did Yami not get superpowered until Yugi woke him up? Was he in fact useless until he got a little bit of a battery charge during Season Zero when he was dumping people off of bell towers?
And like I get not knowing about the underground Ishtars, and not being able to get a hold of Shadi because Shadi is a lazy ghost, but Bakura was RIGHT THERE. You can’t munch up Pegasus off screen and then say “eh but Bakura’s kinda low tier” we know for a fact that Bakura is not...so like...there must have been some copyright situation where they couldn’t use certain characters. This is a filler arc--but it would have been nice to have at least some explanation as to why it took Dartz so long to finally murder the hell out of Pharaoh.
Which is me expecting way too much out of this show. Just something I was really hoping would get addressed but leave it for the headcanon.
Tumblr media
It’s at this point that Mokuba realized he’s standing on top of people.
Tumblr media
A crypt made out of human souls! Crazy, usually we’re in a crypt made out of one single human soul....and both of these crypts have Yugi in it.
In Raphael’s storyline, he’s been busy just cleaning up after everyone else. It’s supposed to come off as very serious but I was totally busting up when he’s just dropping bodies into the back of this jeep.
Tumblr media
And in the Kaiba Corp plotline, Roland is anxiously wondering if he should be a Dad and save the kids or if he should be a dog and stay in the plane.
Tumblr media
He stays in the plane.
Strangely this was the right call. (And this is why Roland has never died)
So they start throwing around cards, as you do, and Dartz puts down his Orichalcos, has he does, when suddenly...they started seeing stuff again. Can’t have a single card game without it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So the Orichalcos is just a backstory device? For reals?
Something I alluded to quite a few episodes back with Valon was just...wondering why the hell the Orichalcos crew had so much freakin magic as to make all these visions during duels. Turns out...it’s just a thing to occasionally trip on Oricalchos juice. I’m not sure why we never had a vision with Mai, Weevil, Rex, or Gurimo, but at least we now know that Raphael and Valon weren’t as magical as I thought they were.
So we’re in like...outer space. Kind of the last place you’d expect out of ancient Atlantis and Dartz isn’t having ANY OF IT.
Tumblr media
And honestly that makes sense. Imagine giving someone 10,000 years ago the run down on outer space. They’d freak. They’d definitely think you’re talking about demons.
Tumblr media
If space is an elaborate analogy, we don’t know that yet. For how this is presented, it’s just an old man hootin and hollerin about how much space sucks, and I love that.
PS how anime is this shot of the earth behind the orichalcos symbol and the dude in the middle with the ass length blue hair--really damn anime, right?
Like at least one of you has this wall hanging, right?
Tumblr media
For those that are too tired to look it up, Pangea was 280-230 million years ago.
THAT REALLY CHANGES MY MATH.
AND I’M TOO TIRED.
So my thoughts are...either the math is wrong and I’ll fix it eventually in post, depending on my mood come next Wednesday, OR...humanity was deleted and then came back later??? (because the dawn of mankind was 7 million years ago)
OR...
They just felt like drawing Pangea 10 million years ago. Maybe that’s all. Maybe I don’t have to fix anything. I dunno.
Maybe this isn’t Earth.
Maybe Yugioh Earth never had Loma Preita because it isn’t actually Earth. And, like a Final Fantasy situation, is a second planet on a parallel plane of our own?
Either way, I’m not redoing the math because I actually don’t know how to change it anymore. I’m v undecided of the timeline now......maybe the next episode will tell us more? (I doubt this very much)
RIP deathcount.
Tumblr media
Yo Atlantis!
I have a lot of questions!
About Atlantis!
And the purpose of the aqueduct going the wrong direction.
Is that in fact the poop shoot?
But wtv it looks neat.
So anyway, that’s all for now, I hope you enjoyed my bad math, and I hope you enjoy your Halloween. Ours is a whole lot of nothing. I’ll be watching lots of Phasmaphobia streams while eating Butterfingers that I legally can’t give to children because it’s an epidemic (butterfingers is like the last candy that my old 30 yo ass can handle without passing out or gagging. Weird how getting older makes me hate all the good things I couldn’t eat when I was younger because I was too young to be allowed to eat them.) and that’s about it.
WHY did Halloween finally fall on a Saturday DURING an epidemic? I only get so many Saturday Halloweens in my youth...just why.
(and here’s a link to read these in chrono order)

Winx Club Season 2 Thoughts (4kids) Part 1
I already posted some thoughts on season 2 last year when I legit just clicked through he episodes rather than actually rewatching them so I am back to give a more in-depth look on this season! (And, hopefully, it won’t end with disappointment for me.)
2x01:
- Eww, why voiceover? It just seems so unnatural since we’ve never had it before. Not to mention that Bloom told us what each of the other girls has done during the summer but she didn’t tell us anything about herself. Like, she set out to find out more about her origins back in the first half of season 1, and I know that she did learn about being the princess of Domino but she still has no fucking idea who her parents are as individuals apart from them being the rulers of Domino. Considering how big of a plot that is later on, it just doesn’t sit right with me that she doesn’t seem remotely interested in it currently and didn’t mention anything about it. It’s like that plotline is closed for her which we all know is not true. So I am having some issues here, not gonna lie (not with Bloom but with her inconsistent writing).
- Aww, am I the only one who thinks that Stella buried herself in fashion rules all summer because she didn’t want to think about her parents’ divorce? Poor baby has been going so hard with no rest to keep herself from grieving over it. But at least she did something! (Proving she’s not lazy and spoiled; she practically had a job. Her dream job. You go get it, girl! (but also take care of your mental state, please.))
- Why is Bloom so eager to learn her fortune? Has she not read Greek Mythology? Bad idea, hon. Bad idea. (The thing with the magical reality mirrors was cool, though!)
- (Is that a new secret library or is it the regular library? I’m confused. Does anybody have a handy layout of Alfea for me?)
- She just fucking told her everything! I’m not a fan of knowing your future tbh. It really messes with your head and you start thinking “Will my actions have a negative impact on it? Will I somehow change my own destiny for the worse?” and then you go and do exactly that. Not to mention that it would be so weird to stare at Layla and just feel the pressure of being told that you’ll be best friends. Like, what if it doesn’t work? And what if it is just the fact that you were told so that pushes you to seek the friendship of that person? I don’t know. It’s just not my thing.
- Layla is awesome, though! Climbing those rocks with no equipment, not to mention with so little power left. She probably couldn’t even transform and fly if she fell. That was dangerous but did she care? Nope. She was there to save the pixies! Brave little soldier. Too good, too pure for this world.
- Ugh, Darkar managed to annoy me with his very first sentence ever. Nice job. You are a loser, loser. So deal with it! God, how will I take all that narcissism for 25 more episodes? Oh god, oh no, please, no! Whyyyyyyyy?
- Ugh, Bloom, that diadem is doing the opposite of wonders for your hair, please! At least Stella had the common sense to remove it.
- Speaking of Stella, that moment with the multiplying beauty was so cute! I love how she complimented the others while complimenting herself! But guys (Stella & Bloom), you’re not discreet with the groping. Seriously.
- Oh, hey! Riven won! And Sky only came in third! Nice! But lbr here, Timmy is the real victor! The others came in on hoverbikes while he had an entire ship that he modified himself. I mean, idk about anyone else, but I would definitely go for the ship.
- Of course there’s Diaspro drama. God, can they not for literally five seconds? And also, “we’re just friends”? Wtf? Did you fall on your head this summer, Bloom? You were calling him your boyfriend last time I checked. And you were fawning over the romance in your future. Can you just drop the pretense already?
- Ooh, Layla is so smart! She managed to outsmart all the monsters and win even when she barely had any magic left! You go, you absolute badass!
- Did they even make any changes on that new wing at Alfea? I mean, besides the name.
2x02:
- How did Tecna know that Layla was the princess of Andros? Did she hack the interdimensional FBI system? Wtf.
- They could’ve showed some other things we hadn’t seen that Layla had to go through but, of course, why would they do that when they could just use the same footage and draw less animation, bruh?
- And we’re getting to the opposites. Right on schedule when the Shadow Phoenix has shown up. You gotta love how convenient those school lessons are (not to mention that Bloom suddenly started feeling her opposite out of nowhere. Nice!) At least we got a cool magical lesson. Though, idk how to feel about the ying-yang symbol. I mean, it is a perfect representation of what they’re talking about but kind of weird to see something so earthly in Alfea. Though, Earth did have magic so... Hmm. Okay, anyway. Moving on.
- Um, question, why do Stella and Layla not know each other? And in the first season Stella and Musa and Sky didn’t know each other even though they were all royalty (I am still unclear on whether Musa is a princess or not btw but anyway). Don’t they, like, have royal meetings with other kingdoms? (which they even did in season 5 when Domino was back. What, is Domino the center of the universe and they can’t function without it? I mean, come on!)
- The talk about love is getting on my nerves and I literally have “love” in my url and it is my fave word. So what is wrong with that? I do love that guard there. Heck, yeah, it’s a prison (it’s worse than that tbh). And the fact that they’re trying to make it out not to be is extremely fucked up and sickening if you ask me. Not to mention “You can force people to be happy. It just takes time.” I really hope whoever had the idea of that place (in-verse) is going to hell.
- They legit just kept recapping season 1 for a solid minute? Aaaaaaaand... SKIP.
- Can I say that a 30-page report is an actual living nightmare. Thanks.
- The girls are all friendly with Layla (well, outside of a slip-up or two). That’s cute. But where the hell is Tecna? Can the animators only animate five Winx girls at a time? What the hell, you guys?
- So the Pixie village is on Andros (if Layla found it accidentally. I don’t imagine she realm-hopped at will)? Why don’t I remember any of that? But hey, finally some flashbacks that we haven’t seen before!
- Oh, look! My guy Kerborg is here! (the only good part of this whole Darkar thing tbh)
- The Trix finally thought of trying to pretend to be happy in order to get out of there. Well, better late than never. Though, watching how it’s going I can understand why they didn’t try before that. It is, in fact, hopeless. (But at least Darcy is handling it! She always was a bit more controlled.)
- I am so majorly creeped out by Darkar. He just met them and he’s like “You belong to me! Mwahahahaha.” Ummmm? Can you calm down? But I loved Icy’s response. Though, it didn’t stick. And he’s at it again. Seriously, this is really giving me some major off vibes. He said they were going to be the queens of Shadowhaunt which, considering he’s the king, would imply they were his wives. Now there’s a mental image that I am not even going to let inside my head, thanks. Although, having in mind that he just kept buttering them up, I would say it was just him stroking their egos to get them to join him. Not to mention that his later treatment of them supports that theory. And of course, he had to test them first and see how they’d do.
2x03:
- Please, tell me that they’ll tell someone about the Pixies and won’t just go to Shadowhaunt on their own initiative.
- O!M!G! They actually told Faragonda! I can’t believe this! Finally doing something smart, I can’t! And of course she wasn’t going to just let them go. Though, did she really think they weren’t going to want to take the test?
- Shouldn’t Stella be weakened by the darkness of Shadowhaunt? I kinda wish she’d stayed at Alfea if that would’ve spared us from the arc that is coming. (Why?)
- Okay, but it was kind of rude of Layla to just overtake Riven’s hoverbike like that. I wouldn’t appreciate it if I had to give someone a ride and they shoved me out of the driver’s seat and occupied my car, thank you. I’m surprised Riven agreed to let her drive.
- I don’t really have much to say about this episode tbh.
- It was cute that Stella jumped off the cliff for Brandon but it was not the smartest course of action. It probably would’ve been easier for him to save himself if he was alone and they may not have ended up being brought to Amentia. God, I hate this. I don’t want to be bitching about this every other sentence so just know that I absolutely despise this arc from the very bottom of my heart and that will never change.
2x04:
- They have no powers and Darkar knows they’re there. Sounds like a great situation, doesn’t it?
- That amazing moment when you either have to marry a person you’ve just met or watch the one you love die and then be forced to get married anyway. You gotta love that! I hate this so much! (And this is different from my previous point. Or at least has a different angle.)
- Wow, Riven is absolutely handling being a boyfriend. Somebody get him a manual, the man is failing spectacularly.
- I am not quite a fan of Flora’s “Must be nice to have a shoulder to cry on”. Like, you have your friends???? No, I get that she wants a boyfriend, nothing wrong with that, but it came out like she has nobody. Which is absolutely not true.
- What a lucky save that Stella just arrived when they were about to become toast. Can anyone tell me why she didn’t just teleport them where the Pixies are? Or anywhere closer to them if she could do that all along?
- Am I distracted or is there nothing to talk about in these episodes? (Both. It is both.)
2x05:
- Seriously, why didn’t they at least mention the option to teleport using that gadget from the beginning?
- Aww, Brandon was trying to be noble and get out of the marriage but it backfired. Poor him.
- Why are the Pixies bickering like that? Is it Shadowhaunt’s influence or just the fact that they’d been imprisoned together for so long?
- Wait, did they just... kill a pixie? (Off screen of course, but still. Damn!)
- So Bloom and Stella did... interestingly with the boarding.
- Why is Stella afraid of heights? Also, that’s never been mentioned before. Especially not when she jumped off a fucking cliff! Wtf. They just keep throwing in new stuff without setting it up properly and I am getting annoyed.
- What happened to Tecna’s computer?
- Oh, look! Chatta lied to Darkar to protect Pixie Village.
- It’s the Trix! Finally some action! And they are harder to defeat now that they’re stronger! Nice!
- Damn! Layla was really determined to get the Pixies out of there. (Which wouldn’t have helped if Darkar hadn’t let her but she still gets points for trying.)
- Oh come on! Do I really have to deal with fake Avalon so early in the season?!?!?! Dammit! Also, wtf is up with Bloom and Stella? Like, you both have boyfriends. At least Layla’s not affected.
- “Stella returned a compliment. What is that about?” XDDD One of the funniest lines ever! And look at Amore! She is so cute!
2x06:
- But yeah, seriously, just go get Brandon, please! (Also, good that they noticed something’s fishy.)
- Aww, Stella is absolutely furious and determined to get her boyfriend back. She should’ve gone for a plan tbh since it could’ve helped them get to the palace faster.
- I love how Stella’s known Layla for a week (half of which Layla was unconscious) tops and is already making her her bridesmaid. Am I the only one who finds this weird? Like, this friendship train is moving way too fast for my trust issues.
- Poor Brandon. She’s going to stretch him, wtf? These episodes are a horror show.
- How bad can a guard worm be? Hm, gee, I don’t know, Layla. Enough to stop you perhaps since it is a “guard”, y’know.
- And Brandon is talking to a parrot now. I am losing it just like he is. How much longer will this torture go on? Please, tell me this arc is coming to an end.
- Okay, so the plotline with Amore’s magic is less problematic than I remember it. I thought she was going to make Amentia fall in love with the flower pollen but it only leads you to your soulmate. That isn’t problematic, actually. Nice!
- Wtf do you mean they’re going to eat Brandon if he’s not a good husband?!?!?! I am getting nightmares over here. Just feeling them forming in my head. Thanks.
- It must be horrible for Stella to be standing there and watching her boyfriend being forced to marry another woman. How are these people not psychologically scarred anyway?
- Aww, they’re back together! I love how Amore is just sitting in Stella’s lap! It’s cute.
2x07:
- I was not ready for the Kiko angst even though I knew it was coming.
- Faragonda really thought she could just dodge that question without them noticing, huh? Yeah, well, no.
- Oh, look! The Shadow Fire is sentient. This reminds me of LotR tbh but anyway, moving on. So Darkar is a man who is possessed by the Shadow Fire? I so did not remember that.
- Oh, no! Is it really time for Avalon already? Dammit! I was just getting thrilled there was no Darkar in these last two episodes and now I get Avalon. Uggggh.
- I get Bloom’s annoyance with this but why does she keep blasting it when that obviously doesn’t give results?!?!?! This reminds me of that quote by Einstein that madness is doing the same thing and expecting different results. “I feel tired.” You think? You’ve been out there blasting that thing for hours. Get inside and get warmed up, oh my god! Seriously, how are they even alive? They don’t take care of themselves at all.
- This might be my more advanced knowledge of what the future holds for them speaking but I absolutely do not get what is Avalon’s appeal.
- Oh, how convenient. He’s teaching magic connected to their origins. Amazing.
- “I don’t want to seem obsessive” *proceeds to spy on girlfriend* At least the show is framing it well.
2x08:
- Ugh, I really hate these Bloom and Avalon scenes. They just leave a bad taste in my mouth.
- Ugh, I’m gagging at Bloom’s obsession with Avalon. I get he promised to help her learn about her origins but she’s downright lovesick. I am so with Sky on this and I understand his frustration.
- Aww, Brandon immediately revealed his own nickname to help Stella calm down. That was so cute! I love them!
- I love how the fairies are always invited, of course, but the witches are only invited because they helped. I mean, yeah, they do cause trouble, but like, they’re witches? I think the show should have done a better job at specifying what exactly being a witch is because currently it’s like “hey, they’re evil but they can legally learn how to be evil in the legitimate school for witches!” How does that make any sense?
- Ewww, seriously? On the one front I have Bloom and Avalon and on the other Icy and Darkar. What is wrong with this season?
- Oh, hey! It’s Helia! Now only if we didn’t have to wait half a season for Flora to confess her feelings, that would be great! I love how she got mad at Stella for introducing herself to Helia. Don’t just glare there, Flora. Do something about it! (About Helia, I mean.)
- So Saladin is also a dramatic bitch. Good to know. XD But hey, the new Red Fountain looks so much better. Before I started the rewatch, I didn’t even remember the initial vision. I only remembered the one from season 2 onwards.
- Poor Timmy! But what was Tecna’s problem? Like, you dreamed of him. That’s cool. I mean, you like him. What’s the problem? I guess she’s just not used to emotions like that, though.
- “I think it was Darcy” Jeez, really? Why is the fact that she ran away not enough proof that it was Darcy? Why would she run away if she was just a random girl? But I guess it’s a good thing Musa recognized her voice because people can actually do that unlike what movies would have you believe.
- It’s Kerborg time. Nice!
- Oh, yeah, “let’s leave Bloom and Sky in charge here”. Now you trust her. Last time she was there he blamed everything on her but hey, whatever.
- I loved Sky being supportive of Brandon and then the team up with all the rest. And Riven showing a better side of himself. That was really awesome.
- Oh, I think Helia’s got his eye on a certain fairy too! ;)
- But seriously. Literally an entire army of Specialists can’t hold the monster down while Helia did it on his own. With his glove. Wtf?!?!?!?! Though really, why am I expecting anything to make sense at this point.
2x09:
- Okay, but as annoying as Darkar is, he at least knows how to steer the witches to do exactly what he wants.
- Really, Tecna, I think your facts are wrong. You aren’t completely grown up at 16, wtf.
- Who else is completely creeped out by Avalon? He really just gave all of his very female and very young students flowers. And he’s teaching them all individual things (which is just a cover so that his interest in Bloom doesn’t stand out, of course, but still). He knows they are all crushing on him and he’s exploiting that and doing his best to lead them on and reinforce those emotions. That is absolutely disgusting, thank you.
- Seriously, even Faragonda is falling victim to his “charm” (not)? I can’t with this episode anymore and it has just started. And here I thought Darkar would be the problem of this season. How was I so wrong????????
- Oh, he wants them to trust him as much as they trust themselves? How about they throw you off a cliff instead? Oh, wait, that won’t work because he has wings. Crush him with a boulder then? (This is getting very anti Avalon and I am so sorry for all the negativity but I don’t think I can stress enough how much this is upsetting and angering me.)
- Why do I feel like Avalon is the one who planted the book there so that Tecna could do all of that and embarrass herself so that she wouldn’t try it again and he could proceed with his real plans?
- Well, we finally got Bloom’s parents’ names and a very unclear peek at them. Though, props for having their designs figured out from the beginning, though I guess that is just thanks to the comics.
- Oh, hey! Palladium is back. (Why is no one crushing on him? He is so much better and more handsome than Avalon tbh.) Glow up time, bitches. XD
- Amaryl is being Amaryl, of course. But Palladium is having none of it anymore. And he saved Stella. Nice!
- The others trust Tecna, that’s great!
- (Honestly, Griffin is the only thing saving me from losing my mind in this episode tbh, Also the fact that she believes Tecna and that Tecna was suspicious enough to dig in the first place. At least someone hasn’t lost their common sense.)
- Oh, hey, how did Bloom get that medallion? Did she pull it out of the past? Pls, tell me that’s not what happened. It can legit mess the entire timeline.
- Wait, didn’t they start chasing him before midnight? Why is it suddenly morning? Wtf? You can’t tell me they chased him all night. Why is everything so wrong?
- Poor Wizgiz! Another invention is destroyed. I feel his pain.
- At least all parts of the episode came together nicely. The writing was actually good but I absolutely hate this episode, thanks! I still appreciate the effort with the script, though.
2x10:
- Seriously, why did Bloom instantly decide that Diaspro was involved in this? Ugh. Both she and Sky need to calm down with the jealousy.
- Omg, Griselda is so savage, I can’t! Her magic is so awesome. (Since when is Stella up for cooking? Or was it just because she wanted to see the cute guy that would teach them cooking? Ah, and she’s tired of take out.) I really loved how she used different methods to deal with the different powers of the fairies. Finally we’re getting all the magical lessons and it is absolutely glorious.
- (Btw, seeing Stella openly critique classes schedule makes it clear to me why she’s always been my favorite. That is such a me thing to do. I still can’t understand how teachers liked me since I was always arguing with them.)
- Of course. Sky wants to talk and Bloom immediately decided he wanted to break up with her. Why don’t you hear him out first maybe? (Sidenote: Stella and Brandon went on a date with unicorns? That is really cute!)
- Brandon is in his role of the wingman again. Considering he’s the only one having a steady girlfriend (and they’ve said “I love you” already), the rest should just listen to him.
- Mayhem globe? That’s really cool actually.
- Helia is here. Nice!
- Poor Stormy. She looked really hurt. I thought Darcy was the one with the illusions and riddles. Why did she get it wrong and why was Icy the one to solve it (through a detail that not only has never been shown but has been pretty much disproven by what we’ve seen)?
- Yeah. Tecna and Timmy were also knocked out, Bloom. Just in case you care about that.
- Kindness spell? And non-agression spell? That’s kinda cool actually. But problematic... again.
- I am not quite sure what Bloom did but I am actually glad to see they went with a hug there (and it was cute). But how many times are they going to become a boyfriend and a girlfriend? I thought we were over this.
2x11:
- Brandon is at it again. A true specialist... in dating tips. XD
- Wow, Flora. Nice Helia spell you got there. (Btw I am so loving that we get to see them in different classes and learning things! Yes, this is what I’m here for!) But Layla was so ready to help! And I also love that Flora went to Layla instead of anyone else. It’s really cute that they got so close so fast. (”He’s crazy if he doesn’t like you.” Perhaps Layla is the one who likes Flora. XD)
- Shoulda listened to Brandon, Timmy. (But Tecna so boldly went for the “us”. You go, girl!)
- Idk but to me “The Archaic Spells of Spheria” doesn’t sound any good tbh.
- Of course Stella is all about the romantic movies. But poor pixies. They had to imprison them to save them.
- Why did all of the boys know about the Codex in the previous ep but the girls have no clue about it? Why is Faragonda keeping it from them if everyone at Red Fountain knows about it?
- What was Faragonda doing? And why did she make Bloom look for the spell? Couldn’t she do that herself? (Also, she just threw the book like that on the floor. I get why it prompted her derision but damn, really?)
2x12:
- Flora and Helia are such romantic dorks. And they’re bringing their A game there. Poems and flowers... A beautiful romance blooms. (I’ll stop now.)
- This convergence talk is giving me all the friendship feels. Not just for Winx but also for Faragonda and Griffin since they have been spotted doing convergence too. Ugh, my heart!
- Wow, Riven sure has a lot of pictures of Musa, considering the way he’s acting.
- “Kind of involved”? Mhm, sure.
- So I understand Musa’s frustration with Stella’s meddling but on the other hand I can see Stella’s point. I love Musa x Riven but Riven doesn’t seem exactly present and Musa herself stated that she’s not really sure what the status of their relationship is so...
- Okay, but there is no way in hell that it is Darcy’s birthday. It is fall currently and Darcy’s birthday is May 5 according to Wiki. So yeah, no.
- I am getting a bit sidetracked again but can we talk about the fact that Bloom and Stella couldn’t do convergence after a simple disagreement even though they’re together like 24/7 while Griffin and Faragonda managed to do it seamlessly at the end of season 1 after not speaking to each other for years and kind of getting into a fight the last time they spoke at the Day of the Royals. Friendship goals (well, besides the silent treatment.)
- Okay but I think it wasn’t right to blame Stella. She didn’t say anything that was inherently offensive. She suggested that they try to get closer. That isn’t bad even if it upsets someone indirectly. There was no need to blame her. They should’ve just focused on making Layla feel better.
- Why do I feel like none of them really had friends before they found each other? But hey, they are this big found family now and that is awesome! (I am getting all the feels again.)
- And Darcy is messing up the magical reality chamber again. Didn’t we do that already? Also, why didn’t they try to... idk, take precautions and put better security on it considering how dangerous it can be? Like, those are simple things. Please, be responsible.
- Better not play Truth or Dare with Stella. Unless you wanna be kissing ogres. XD
- That was a good save Layla pulled off there. Also, I love how the girls are mad at the “technical” issues. Tbh they are right to. How many times are they gonna get stuck in the wrong world when sent into the magical reality chamber? Like, get your shit together teachers. Also, why don’t they simply do a test run before they get anyone inside it? You’d think they’d learn their lesson.
- Damn, they can be deleted if the program is turned off? Why didn’t Darcy just have Jarred unplug it then? Winx are erased forever. Boom, problem solved. For the Trix, I mean.
- Aww, the pixies were ready to go in. That was cute.
- I LOVED that convergence! It was such a cool idea to have them make a figure. Also, they just created life. Damn! I am impressed.
2x13:
- Poor Layla. She has all those nightmares. But at least Piff helps! That’s really cute.
- I see Flora still hasn’t solved the Helia problem yet.
- They just ditched school to go to a club. What chaotic dumbass energy, I can’t.
- Aww, Layla is sharing about her harsh childhood. At least she has friends she can talk to now. But damn the difference between Andros and Solaria is very striking in scenes like that.
- Layla totally nailed that improv. Nice, you go, girl!
- I love the difference between Griselda and Faragonda! XD
- I loved that convo between Bloom and Vanessa! Yes, thank you for that. I am a little confused as to when Bloom learned Daphne was her sister. Did I miss something or did the writers miss something? But aww, Vanessa can’t see Locket. That’s making me sad. :(
- They did go to the club, though, huh? Nice one, you guys.
- How will Faragonda learn if they use magic on humans but not otherwise? That doesn’t sound very logical to me. (Speaking of logic, where is Tecna? They didn’t show her in this ep.)
- Oh, no! Poor Layla. But damn, she’s powerful. And the others are there to help her. (The pixies can cause so much trouble considering how small they are.)
- I love how Faragonda and Griselda just showed up to get them. It was cute. Though, now they’re being punished. Well, technically, Bloom didn’t break any rules because she had permission to leave but I guess she’s also in this because she shouldn’t have taken the others with her. (Cheeky to welcome Faragonda and Griselda to Earth.) At least Faragonda managed to get them the permission for music back from Griselda. XD
- Aww, babies! They are so tired from cleaning the whole school, they fell asleep. And the pixies helped, too.
- I’m not sure how Flora got that Helia is “the one” from talking to him for half a minute, but damn, wanna share those powers with the rest of us so that we can know immediately when we’ve met the one as well? (It was so cute to see Flora lean on Layla to sleep with her. And Piff, too. If she weren’t just talking about Helia, they would’ve been like a picture perfect family.)
This got very long so I decided to split the post for this season in parts. Part 2.

Happy Holigays
This is a sequel to my Secret Santa gift from @builder051, featuring young! Min and Kazu. Make sure to read it first, cause it sets the scene for this. I really loved it, and had to build (ha get it) off it. I know it’s set on Christmas and I’m like a week and a half late, but... I don’t really give a fuck. it’s all fiction anyway. Enjoy.
It was well into the wee hours of the morning when the two finally made their way to bed. Kazu pulled Min against his chest, keeping the small blond from falling off mattress's edge. The old twin bed was far too small for two people, and nearly half a foot too short for Kazu, but as the alternative was a park bench, he really didn't care. Burying his face in Min's bleach-blond fluff, Kazu started to doze off, the exhaustion of fever taking a toll on his battered  body.
As Christmas morning rolled around, Minato got up bright and early; the bakery was closed today, but he still wanted time to have breakfast and watch the snow fall outside. Settling in at one of the small tables out front, he gazed out the big glass window, nibbling on warm, fresh pancakes and sipping hot chocolate. Normally he would have milk or tea with breakfast, but fuck it, it's Christmas.
There was a sharp chill in the air - the bakery didn't have a very good heater, it usually relied on the running ovens for warmth. Shivering slightly, Min stole a throw blanket off the couch, wrapping it around himself like a cape. He made his way back to the kitchen, cleaning off the griddle he'd made pancakes on and setting it aside. He turned instead to the kettle, pouring more hot water into a new packet of cocoa mix. He had the ingredients to make it from scratch, but he was feeling as lazy as he was indulgent.
Grabbing a candy cane from the jar on the counter, and a few cookies from the plate next to it, Min settled on the couch, turning on the TV, but leaving the volume low so as not to bother Kazu. He had a feeling his boyfriend would still be in pretty poor shape today, and Min wondered whether he had the ingredients to make chicken soup. Shrugging to himself, he cozied up under his blanket; soup wouldn't matter for at least a few more hours - Kazu wouldn't be up before noon unless the house was on fire.
Min was deep into some tired old hallmark movie when footsteps behind him alerted him to his boyfriend's presence. Kazu had dragged the comforter out of bed with him, and he shuffled over to the couch, dropping down next to Minato with a groan.
"Hi sweetie." The tiny blond ventured, "how are you feeling?"
"Shitty." Kazu's voice was barely there, a hoarse shadow of his usual deep baritone. He felt like he was dying - a hangover and a high fever were a nasty combination, and the added pain in his hurt wrist didn't help. He closed his eyes, the dim light of the old TV aggravating his headache.
Minato frowned sympathetically, scooting over to cozy up against his boyfriend. He ran a hand through Kazu's messy hair, loosening some of the tangles with his small, nimble fingers. Despite how quiet the dark-haired boy was being, Min could tell he was miserable, and tried to think what he might do to help. "I'm gonna go to the kitchen. I'll be back soon, okay?"
"Mm." Kazu nodded vaguely; it was unsure whether he actually heard Min, or was just pretending to listen. Either way, the tiny blond shuffled off, reheating the kettle and putting a pot on the stove. Minato ended up being gone nearly forty minutes. Kazu started to grow bored, opening one eye to scan the tiny living room. The shitty hallmark movie was currently on a commercial, which was debatably more entertaining than the film itself.
There were two presents hiding under the tree in the corner. Well, 'tree' was a generous term. It was a cone of cardboard wrapped in green tinsel, with dollar store ornaments stuck around it; Kazu had assembled it a few weeks ago, when Min broke down crying upon realizing they couldn't afford a tree. Kazu knew what one of the gifts was - the large, flat envelope concealed a portrait he'd spent weeks on, of him and Min in their favourite garden. He assumed the wrapped box to be holding something equally cheap and symbolic - perhaps some homemade jewelry, or a crocheted blanket. He couldn't know for sure, though. Min had been intensely secretive about the whole gifting process, wanting them both to be surprised on Christmas. Kazu couldn't help but feel a little guilty; he stayed in Min's house, ate his food, wasted his time, and all he had to offer was a drawing. It was an excellent piece of art, but it still felt worthless compared to all that Minato gave him.
His focus on the tree started to blur, and Kazu stretched out on the couch, grimacing and groaning as he struggled to get comfortable. His whole body ached, and there was an intense pain lingering in his right hand. He couldn't even remember what he'd done to hurt it last night, but it had to have been nasty. He was just glad it hasn't been his shoulder again; it still hadn't quite recovered from the last dislocation, and was also aching quite a bit with the aggravation of illness. Kazu closed his eyes, rubbing his temple with his good hand. His body was such a wreck - it'd be a miracle if he made it to thirty at this rate. He wondered if he even wanted to make it to thirty.
Kazu's morbid train of thought was cut short by the cheery voice of his boyfriend. Minato had returned, bearing soup, tea, and painkillers.  Kazu sat up, reaching first for the pills, downing them dry before grabbing the tea to ease his sore throat. "You're the best, babe." He croaked, "is your church still doing the saint thing? Cause you should be one."
Minato giggled, rolling his eyes and sitting down next to his boyfriend. "I'm not that great. Besides, I think you have to actually be a devout Catholic to be a saint. I haven't even been to church since I was like seventeen."
"Eh, you're better'n those stuffy old fucks in my book." Kazu shrugged, wincing regretfully at the twinge in his bad shoulder. He wondered if it was acting up because he was sick and achy, or if he'd messed it up again last night, and just been too wasted to notice. He set his tea aside after a few sips, tugging the comforter around himself with a shiver.
Min frowned in concern. Kazu was normally very resilient to the cold; just last week, he'd been hanging out in this same chilly room in his boxers. For him to be shivering, he had to be seriously ill. Minato pressed a hand to Kazu's forehead, his icy fingers absorbing the heat as it radiated off his boyfriend. "Don't drink any more tea for a bit. I need to check your temperature."
"Won't the meds 've kicked in?"
"Not that fast." Min explained, climbing to his feet to find the thermometer. It was still on the bathroom counter, left over from last night. He tucked it into the sleeve of his sweater, stopping in the kitchen for a cookie before returning to Kazu. The dark-haired boy was curled up on the couch, eyes glazed over and cheeks flushed. Min flapped his sleeves in concern, almost losing the thermometer in the process. Though he'd taken care of hurt Kazu many times, he'd never seen his boyfriend sick before, and it was worrying on a different level. He sat back down on the couch, fidgeting anxiously as he looked over at the dark-haired troublemaker.
Turning to the Hallmark movie to keep himself occupied, Min still found himself glancing obsessively at his phone, checking it every thirty or so seconds until enough time had passed. After about fifteen minutes, he picked up the thermometer, reaching over to stick it in Kazu's mouth. The dark-haired boy mumbled something unintelligible, likely a dick joke, and Minato poked his nose.
"Hush."
The mercury crept slowly up the thin glass tube, and after a moment, Min gently retrieved it, squinting in the dim light to make out the tiny numbers. "One oh... oh my god..." His jaw dropped, and his sleeves began flapping again. "I think you need to see a doctor."
"You're stressing too much, babe. 'S just a fever. I always run hot, it ain't as bad as it looks." Kazu wasn't actually sure of that, but he was an excellent liar, and he put his good hand on Min's shoulder to further reassure his tiny boyfriend.
Minato sighed, still waving his sleeves as he spoke. "Okay, but if you're not feeling better tomorrow, doctor."
"Sure. That's fine." Kazu knew he could talk his way out of it, even if he was literally on fire tomorrow. Min was soft and naive and relentlessly optimistic; just saying "It's okay" was often enough to win him over.
"Good." Min tried to think of something more cheerful. "Do you feel up to opening presents?"
Kazu nodded, "Yea, why not. You first."
Minato hurried over to the tree, grabbing both gifts and setting them on the coffee table. He picked up his present, working his finger under the flap of the envelope to unstick the glue rather than tearing it. After a bit of fiddling, he pulled out a large sheet of heavy drawing paper, filled with easily forty hours' worth of intricate graphite.
Min's eyes widened and a grin spread across his face. "It's beautiful..." he beamed, "I love it." He tucked it very carefully back into the envelope, making sure not to bend or smudge it. "I'll find a frame tomorrow when the stores are open. I want to put it up on the wall."
"Eh, it ain't that great..." Kazu shrugged, uncomfortable with the praise.
"Are you kidding? You're such a good artist, it's crazy." Min scooped up the box now, offering it to his boyfriend. "Come on. Open yours. I got a great present, now it's your turn."
Kazu struggled with the wrapping for a moment; it was hard to untie a bow one-handed. Once he'd loosed the ribbon, he tore into the paper, lifting the cardboard lid without much expectation. As he focused on the gift inside, Kazu let out an audible gasp. It was a sleek leather jacket, sturdy and warm, with a hooded inner layer. He recognized it immediately, and felt a pang of guilt in his chest; it must've cost Min two months' savings at least.
"Do you like it? I remember you ogling it when we were window shopping last month." Minato smiled softly, hugging his boyfriend's closer arm.
Kazu nodded, barely able to force out the words. "I... I love it. Thank you."
"I thought you might. God knows you need a new one." Minato mused, his mind drifting to Kazu's old jacket. An amalgamation of fleece and denim, it was once black, but had faded to grey, and was more patches and cigarette burns than fabric. Though originally quite warm, it had long worn thin, and was well overdue for a replacement.
"Well, yeah, but... It's expensive..." Kazu's scratchy voice wavered in distress. "I didn't spend shit on you..." he mumbled shamefully.
Minato rolled his eyes. "I know that. You think I care? I love you, and I don't want you freezing to death. It doesn't matter if you repay me."
Kazu shook his head, too exhausted to argue. “You’re crazy, babe.” He croaked, carefully folding the jacket back into the box before setting it aside.
“Crazy for you.” Min corrected, climbing into Kazu’s lap. “Mm… you’re nice and warm.”
“No shit,” Kazu rolled his eyes, “I gotta fever.”
Minato shrugged. “At least you’re good for cuddling.” He tugged the comforter over them both, cozying up in Kazu’s lap.
The dark-haired boy wanted to protest. Despite having taken medicine, he was only feeling worse, and he’d been planning to retreat back to the bedroom after presents. The pounding in his head and churning in his stomach had him ready to bolt at a moment’s notice, but when Min let out a tiny content sigh, Kazu knew his fate was sealed. He’d be on the couch for the foreseeable future whether he liked it or not. Not that Minato wouldn’t have moved if Kazu asked, but because Kazu couldn’t bring himself to ask. He knew the tiny blond was happy and comfortable, and he’d already been enough of a thorn in Min’s side this Christmas. He could suck it up and be sick later.
Stuck on the couch with nothing to do but think, Kazu couldn't help but reflect on his gift. Was he a piece of shit for accepting an expensive present from Minato, when he already stayed at the bakery rent-free? Or did stuff like that stop mattering if you were dating the person in question? Should he have worked more last month, and maybe wasted a little less cash on his own vices, so he could get Min a real gift? Min had seemed pleased with the drawing, but maybe he was faking it…
No. Minato couldn't tell a lie to save his life, and he was very easy to please. If he said he liked something, he did. Kazu twisted his hair around the fingers of his good hand, the voices in his head still debating about how he was a piece of shit who didn't deserve Min, much less nice gifts from him. A shaky sigh rattled out of Kazu, and the seemingly distracted Min leaned up to kiss his cheek.
“If you don't feel good, go back to bed. We can do something together when you feel better.”
The dark-haired boy blinked in surprise, looking down at Minato through bleary eyes. “Are ya sure? I already crashed your Christmas Eve, I don't wanna make today suck, too.”
Min rolled his eyes, gently booping Kazu’s nose with his fingertip. “I don't care what day it is, stupid. I just want you to feel better. I'll be happy whenever we get to do stuff.”
“You… you will?”
“Of course I will.” Min nodded, wrapping his arms gently around his boyfriend. “You need to get some rest. Are you more comfortable here or in bed?”
Kazu just shrugged; both the couch and bed were too short for him, it was really just a matter of laziness - did he want to get up, or stay where he was?
“I won't move you then.” Minato decided, pecking Kazu on the cheek again before climbing to his feet. “I should make sure the kitchen is ready for tomorrow. Just call if you need anything.”
“Mm.” Kazu nodded, more dismissive than acknowledging as he curled up on the couch. He didn't need anything aside from sleep, and he knew Min would be careful not to bother him.
Min leaned down over the couch, making sure Kazu was well tucked in before walking off. “Sleep well, sweetie. Merry Christmas. I love you.”
“Yea… love you, too.”

This Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s Eve, Twelfth Night, Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, St. Paddy’s Day, and every day henceforth. Just do what you do. I was dateless, as usual, deep in the vice grip of unrequited love. It was bad enough not having a boyfriend for New Year’s Eve. Though he wasn’t the first friend I’ve lost to suicide, I sure hope he’s the last. I wish I had the chance to go back and tell them what they meant to me. I wish I had the chance to beg them to seek help, to keep fighting. I wish they knew that they were surrounded by countless others who struggle on a daily basis. – Jared Padalecki • One of the many reasons I love living in New York is that we get a front row seat to the innumerable thrills that take place here – from conventions and awards shows, to parades and U.N. assemblies. Stay home on New Year’s Eve if that’s what makes you happy. Skip the committee meeting. Cross the street to avoid making aimless chitchat with random acquaintances. Read. Cook. Run. Write a story. Make a deal with yourself that you’ll attend a set number of social events in exchange for not feeling guilty when you beg off. – Susan Cain • St. Patrick’s Day is the fourth biggest drinking day in America. It’s not the biggest. It’s right behind New Year’s Eve, Fourth of July, or any Secret Service party. – David Letterman • The feeling I have reminds me of New Year’s Eve, when the countdown is coming and I’m not quite sure whether to grab my camera or just live in the moment. Usually I grab the camera and later regret it when the picture doesn’t turn out. I remember feeling as if life were a protracted exercise in pulling myself out of a well by a rope, and that rope was work. – Antonella Gambotto-Burke • From New Year’s on the outlook brightens; good humor lost in a mood of failure returns. I resolve to stop complaining. – Leonard Bernstein • Games were moved to New Year’s Eve as part of a plan by college football executives where they want to create a tradition of watching football on New Year’s Eve. – Audie Cornish • Glory to God in highest heaven, Who unto man His Son hath given; While angels sing with tender mirth, A glad new year to all the earth. – Martin Luther • God, do I hate my little fat tits. You ever pinch your little meat tits and wish you were dead? You ever just stand naked in the mirror. “You little fat-titted mediocre failure!” You ever do that for 3 hours on New Year’s Eve. – Jim Norton • Good resolutions are simply checks that men draw on a bank where they have no account. – Oscar Wilde • He who breaks a resolution is a weakling; He who makes one is a fool. – Farquhar McGillivray Knowles • Hope Smiles from the threshold of the year to come, Whispering ‘it will be happier’. – Alfred Lord Tennyson • I always work on New Year’s Eve, no matter what. – Debbie Harry • I don’t even drink! I can’t stand the taste of alcohol. Every New Year’s Eve I try one drink and every time it makes me feel sick. So I don’t touch booze – I’m always the designated driver. – Kim Kardashian • I get myself a gig somewhere, whether it’s in a club, whether it’s in a bar, it doesn’t matter, and I just work on New Year’s Eve because I always feel it’s very symbolic for me for the next year, for the new year. – Debbie Harry • I had a terrible fight with my wife on New Year’s Eve. She called me a procrastinator. So I finished addressing the Christmas cards and left. – Robert Orben • I hate New Year’s Eve. One more chance to remember that you haven’t yet done what you wanted. And to pretend it doesn’t matter. – Gregory Maguire • I have no way of knowing how people really feel, but the vast majority of those I meet couldn’t be nicer. Every once in a while someone barks at me. My New Year’s resolution is not to bark back. – Tucker Carlson • I have spent every New Year’s Eve since 1992 in Lourdes. I spend the hour of my birth every year in the grotto. It’s a place with meaning for me. – Paulo Coelho • I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. – Neil Gaiman • I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something. – Neil Gaiman • I like to work on New Year’s Eve. It has a nice spirit; a nice feel about it. If you are all about the ‘year-end’ thing at all, then laughing with fellow human beings is a great way to start the new year. – Paula Poundstone • I love watching ‘Twilight Zone.’ New Year’s Eve they do the marathon; I watch it every year. – Gerard Way • I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me. – Anais Nin • I saw Ronnie Hawkins play near my hometown, Port Dover, Ontario, and I saw him play there on New Year’s Eve and the following spring I booked myself to be his opening act on maybe five shows, and he hired me after the first night. – Rick Danko • I think in terms of the day’s resolutions, not the years’. – Henry Moore • I was a total nerd growing up. I’d rather sit home and read a novel on New Year’s Eve and say, ‘Wow, I read the whole thing in one night!’ That was my idea of a big time. – Beth Broderick • I was at a New Year’s Eve party, and someone asked me how was my year, and I said, ‘I honestly think 2011 was the best year of my entire life,’ and I actually meant it. – Dave Grohl • I won’t be going to any New Year’s Eve parties because I think they’re naff. No one over the age of 15 should bother going to parties. – Julie Burchill • i would like to remind the management that the drinks are watered and the hat-check girl has syphilis and the band is composed of former ss monsters However since it is new year’s eve and i have lip cancer i will place my paper hat on my concussion and dance – Leonard Cohen • I would rather receive a Pap smear from Captain Hook than venture out on New Year’s Eve. – Jen Lancaster • I would say happy new year, but it’s not happy; it’s exactly the same as last year except colder. – Robert Clark • If the age of the Earth were a calendar year and today were a breath before midnight on New Year’s Eve, we showed up a scant fifteen minutes ago, and all of recorded history has blinked by in the last sixty seconds. Luckily for us, our planet-mates–the fantastic meshwork of plants, animals, and microbes–have been patiently perfecting their wares since March, an incredible 3.8 billion years since the first bacteria. …After 3.8 billion years of research and development, failures are fossils, and what surrounds us is the secret to survival. – Janine Benyus • If you asked me for my New Year Resolution, it would be to find out who I am. – Cyril Cusack • If you feel compelled to give a New Year’s Eve party, don’t invite people to arrive too early or they’ll go off the boil before midnight. – Jilly Cooper • If you over plan New Year’s Eve it’s going to be a disaster so you have to be alive to changes. – Cate Blanchett • I’m usually at home and in bed by 10 o’clock. I do not want to be out at anybody’s New Year’s Eve party. – Andre Leon Talley • It goes Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day. Is that fair to anyone who’s alone? These are all days you gotta be with someone. And if you didn’t get around to killing yourself at Christmas or New Year’s, boom! There’s Valentine’s Day. I think there should be one more after Valentine’s Day just called, ‘Who could love you?’ – Laura Kightlinger • It was February sixth: eight days until Valentine’s Day. I was dateless, as usual, deep in the vice grip of unrequited love. It was bad enough not having a boyfriend for New Year’s Eve. Now I had to cope with Valentine datelessness, feeling consummate social pressure from every retailer in America who stuck hearts and cupids in their windows by January second to rub it in. – Joan Bauer • It’s hard to say what I meant by “as we know it.” I’m not about to go up on a mountain on new year’s eve and wait for the lightening to strike. – Hunter S. Thompson • I’ve had some lovely extraordinary experiences on New Year’s Eve. – Debbie Harry • Let each new year find you a better person. – Benjamin Franklin • Let our New Year’s resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word. – Goran Persson • Let the dead Past bury its dead! – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow • Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you have always wanted to do but could not find the time. Call up a forgotten friend. Drop an old grudge, and replace it with some pleasant memories. Vow not to make a promise you do not think you can keep. Walk tall, and smile more. You will look 10 years younger. Do not be afraid to say, I love you. Say it again. They are the sweetest words in the world. – Ann Landers • Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t find the time. – Ann Landers • Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Whatever you’re scared of doing, Do it. – Neil Gaiman • Make New Year’s goals. Dig within, and discover what you would like to have happen in your life this year. This helps you do your part. It is an affirmation that you’re interested in fully living life in the year to come. – Melody Beattie • Make your mistakes, next year and forever. – Neil Gaiman • Many years ago I resolved never to bother with New Year’s resolutions, and I’ve stuck with it ever since. – Dave Beard • May all your troubles last as long as your New Year’s resolutions. – Joey Lauren Adams • May the New Year bring you courage to break your resolutions early! – Aleister Crowley • May the New Year bring you courage to break your resolutions early! My own plan is to swear off every kind of virtue, so that I triumph even when I fall! – Aleister Crowley • Maybe this year, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives not looking for flaws, but looking for potential. – Ellen Goodman • My look is always glitzy for New Year’s Eve, even if I am at home. – Gloria Gaynor • My New Year’s Eve Toast: to all the devils, lusts, passions, greeds, envies, loves, hates, strange desires, enemies ghostly and real, the army of memories, with which I do battle — may they never give me peace. (New Year’s Eve, 1947) – Patricia Highsmith • My New Year’s Eve is always 2 July, the night before my birthday. That’s the night I make my resolutions. And this year scares the life out of me, because no matter how successful, how good things appear, there is always a deep core of failure within me, although I am trying to deal with it. My biggest fear, this coming year, is that I will be waking up alone. It makes me wonder how many bodies will be fished out of the Thames, how many decaying corpses will be found in one-room flats. I’m just being realistic. – Tracey Emin • My New Year’s resolution was to stop saying ‘You go, girl’ to myself. – Zach Galifianakis • My parents used to throw great New Year’s Eve parties. They invited such an eclectic mix of showbiz people. All those cool people were always hanging out at our apartment. – Ben Stiller • Never tell your resolution beforehand, or it’s twice as onerous a duty. – John Selden • New Year’s Day is every man’s birthday. – Charles Lamb • New Year’s Eve always terrifies me. – Charles Bukowski • New Year’s eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the march of the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created things that the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no man has quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming of darkness on other nights. – Hamilton Wright Mabie • New Year’s Eve, we’re going to be doing a concert with the Philadelphia Orchestra in Symphony Hall. It makes me feel good, because of all the people they could have had, they wanted me! We do have to do a little work with the rhythm section. – Barbara Cook • New Year’s Eve, where auld acquaintance be forgot. Unless, of course, those tests come back positive. – Jay Leno • New Year’s Eve. It’s a promise of a night. Single, married or widowed, in love, loveless or lovelorn, we all leave our apartments and pick through snow in high heels, or descend subway stairs in tuxedos, lured to wherever we’re going–whether we know it or not, would deny it or not–by the kiss of a stranger. – Jardine Libaire • New Year’s is a harmless annual institution, of no particular use to anybody save as a scapegoat for promiscuous drunks, and friendly calls and humbug resolutions. – Mark Twain • New Year’s Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time. – James Agate • Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual. – Mark Twain • Now there are more overweight people in America than average-weight people. So overweight people are now average. Which means you’ve met your New Year’s resolution. – Jay Leno • Of all sound of all bells… most solemn and touching is the peal which rings out the Old Year. – Charles Lamb • On New Year’s Eve he ould make a resolution to recover some his previous scepticism, but until then he would do as the Romans do, and smile at people even if he disapproved of them – Nick Hornby • On New Year’s Eve, my dear friend lost his battle with depression . . . – Jared Padalecki • One of the many reasons I love living in New York is that we get a front row seat to the innumerable thrills that take place here – from conventions and awards shows, to parades and U.N. assemblies. But my favorite New York tradition is the annual New Year’s Eve ball-drop on Times Square. – Marlo Thomas • One resolution I have made, and try always to keep, is this: ‘To rise above little things’. – John Burroughs • Only sad sacks and conformists need things like no kiss on New Year’s Eve to remind them to feel lonely. They’re as bad as the people who need St. Patty’s Day as an excuse to get drunk or Halloween to wear slutty outfits. You can feel sorry for yourself and dress like a hooker all year round: Hallmark never needs to know. – Julie Klausner • Ring out the false, ring in the true. – Alfred Lord Tennyson • Ring out the old, ring in the new, Ring, happy bells, across the snow: The year is going, let him go; Ring out the false, ring in the true. – Alfred Lord Tennyson • Shaving my head was a millennium ritual, to not let it pass as just another New Year’s Eve. A lot has happened to me in the last couple of years, personally and spiritually. I wanted to mark it for myself. – Joan Jett • So I started shoveling Bob’s driveway, which is a strange thing to do at a New Years Eve Party – Stephen Chbosky • So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. – Neil Gaiman • Spend your free time the way you like, not the way you think you’re supposed to. Then I feel enormously let down and think to myself that the night would have been more fun if it didn’t mean quite so much, if I weren’t forced to analyze where I’ve been and where I’m going. – Emily Giffin • The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. – Eleanor Roosevelt • The last thing I stole was a box of Coca Cola from a parked truck in Adelaide. I was nice and drunk. It was New Year’s Eve. And that was about 28 years ago. – Ronald Biggs • The merry year is born Like the bright berry from the naked thorn. – Hartley Coleridge • The new year begins in a snow-storm of white vows. – George William Curtis • The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals. – Melody Beattie • the object of a new year is not that we should have a new year, but rather that we should have a new soul. – Gilbert K. Chesterton • The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective. – Gilbert K. Chesterton • The only way to spend New Year’s Eve is either quietly with friends or in a brothel. Otherwise when the evening ends and people pair off, someone is bound to be left in tears. – W. H. Auden • The proper behavior all through the holiday season is to be drunk. This drunkenness culminates on New Year’s Eve, when you get so drunk you kiss the person you’re married to. – P. J. O’Rourke • This leg will be known as Christmas, and this leg will be known as New Year’s Eve! Ladies…why don’t you all come visit the Big Valbowski between the holidays. – Val Venis • Time is the school in which we learn, time is the fire in which we burn. – Delmore Schwartz • To me, doing a gay pride show is one of the most fun things. My first show that paid more than $10,000 was in a gay club on New Year’s Eve in San Francisco. – Queen Latifah • To shut the door at the end of the workday, which does not spill over into evening. To throw away books after reading them so theydon’t have to be dusted. To go through boxes on New Year’s Eve and throw out half of what is inside. Sometimes for extravagance to pick a bunch of flowers for the one table. Other women besides me must have this daydream about a carefree life. – Maxine Hong Kingston • To this day, on my cheat days from my diet, which are New Year’s Eve and my birthday, I buy luxury foods that are very indicative of my class. – Sandra Cisneros • Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one. – Brad Paisley • Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – H. Jackson Brown, Jr. • We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives…not looking for flaws, but for potential. – Ellen Goodman • We’ve made mistakes, But we’ve made good friends too. Remember all the nights we spent with them? And all our plans, Who says they can’t come true? Tonight’s another chance to start again. It’s just another New Year’s Eve, Another night like all the rest. – Barry Manilow • What you do for Jewish New Year is you go down to Times Square. It’s a lot quieter than the regular New Year. It’s just a few Jews walking around going, “sup?” – Jon Stewart • When I go, I’ll take New Year’s Eve with me. – Guy Lombardo • When I played the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, I got to bring Wiley, my 85-pound black lab. He’s responsible for my favorite New Year’s memory of all: At the end of the show, he ran onstage and then out across all the tables in the showroom, sending champagne glasses and gamblers flying. – Elayne Boosler • When I stopped wanting my New Year’s Eve to be perfect, to bring in the New Year right, is when it started working out right. When I was young, I was always looking for the best party to be at, to ring in the New Year, and I always ended up in the car going, “Happy New Year.” – Hilary Swank • Whether we want them or not, the New Year will bring new challenges; whether we seize them or not, the New year will bring new opportunities. – Michael Josephson • Women get a little more excited about New Year’s Eve than men do. It’s like an excuse: you drink too much, you make a lot of promises you’re not going to keep; the next morning as soon as you wake up you start breaking them. For men, we just call that a date. – Jay Leno • Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. – Ralph Waldo Emerson • Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right. – Oprah Winfrey • You staying home all alone on New Year’s Eve? Unthinkable. Take my advice the countdown should be shared with someone, or it’s just another set of numbers passing you by. – E. A. Bucchianeri • Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties”.- Helen Keller, American author, political activist, and lecturer “Let our New Year’s resolution be this: we will be there for one another as fellow members of humanity, in the finest sense of the word. – Goran Persson Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. -Steve Jobs • Youth is when you’re allowed to stay up late on New Year’s Eve. Middle age is when you’re forced to. – Bill Vaughan

COMIC TEA PARTY- WEEK LONG BOOK CLUB START!
Hello and welcome everyone to Comic Tea Party’s Week Long Book Club~! This week we’ll be focusing on Missing Pieces by Christopher Demetriou (Writer) and Stella Violari (Artist)~! (https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/missing-pieces/list?title_no=192867)
You are free to read and comment about the comic all week at your own pace, so stop on by whenever it suits your schedule! Remember, though, that while we allow constructive criticism, our focus is to have fun and appreciate the comic. Below you will find four questions to get you started on the discussion. However, a new question will be posted and pinned everyday (between 12:01AM and 6AM PDT), so keep checking back for more! You have until November 3rd to tell us all your wonderful thoughts! With that established, let’s get going on the reading and the chatting!
QUESTION 1. What has been your favorite scene in the comic so far? What specifically did you like about it?
QUESTION 2. What are your thoughts on the story’s format of telling everything in a long flashback? In what ways do you think this helps with the blackouts and story’s end?
RebelVampire
QUESTION 3. At the moment, who is your favorite character? What about that character earns them this favor?
QUESTION 4. Why do you think Scott was seeing Laura everywhere? Additionally, what was he seeing? A ghost, an angel, or an illusion? What do you think the symbolic purpose was for the story?
RebelVampire
QUESTION 5. What has been your favorite illustration in the comic so far? What specifically about it do you like?
QUESTION 6. What do you think about the story’s themes regarding death changing one’s perspective on life? Why do you think that was the needed catalyst for Scott to mend his relationship with Marcus?
RebelVampire
1) My favorite scene in the comic is probably the one where ghost Laura realizes that she's dead. The emotions at that moment were unbelievably perfect, both between her and Scott. And like, the story was already sad enough. That really was a gut punch to find out that somehow, Laura never knew. It was trauma that hit really hard and I loved it for that. 2) Normally I'm skeptical of flashback stories, but I think in this case it really did aid how the story was delivered. Even without the blackouts, the format kind of allowed the story to skip around at a much faster pace than you would expect. Thus, despite being a drama, everything felt like it was always moving dramatically fast, even if technically only a few days passed in the course of the story. But I think when it came to the end, this is when the format really shined. Since at the end, we see that it was not just those 5 days where bad stuff happened and everyone moved on. The fact the end is older Scott really reflects just how his life instantly went to hell and changed forever never to be fixed. And I kind of think that captures how death feels sometimes. So in that way, having older Scott reflecting on everything offers a different perspective on life moving on than we otherwise would have gotten.
3) My favorite character is probably Scott. He's a really interesting character of contrasts. Has all the money and luck, but at the same time seems disconnected from it all. And ya know, there's the whole blackouts psychosis thing going on, which seeing him go through that is just overall an interesting journey. By the end, I was actually really upset along with him Laura was dead, cause I wanted Scott to be happy despite it all. But alas, it was not to be. 4) So while I call her ghost Laura, I am skeptical it was an actual ghost. Like I know Marcus said he could see her too, but everything is filtered through Scott's perspective. And well, Scott is the most unreliable narrator if I ever did see one. XD So I lean towards illusion. As for the symbolism, I do think she might have served as an important embodiment of acceptance. Cause while Scott seemed to accept she was gone, I really doubt he did, especially not in the first day or two. And I think Laura was the manifestation of that non-acceptance. Where despite logically Scott knew she was gone, his heart refused that Laura wasn't there as usual. Thus why Laura disappeared after she was buried. Cause burying someone kind of brings closure in certain ways (though not entirely). And with Laura buried, I think Scott finally took that final step towards accepting that she was gone, wasn't coming back, and that was that.

5) My fave illustration so far is actually probably any landscape picture from the first episode https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/missing-pieces/ep-1-confessions/viewer?title_no=192867&episode_no=1 I'm always a sucker for landscapes, and flat out, I love the details on the mansion. Like that took a lot of effort to draw, but I am 100% sold on the design. Like there's even slight texturing on the walls and floors giving it character, and I just love that attention to detail. 6) This actually reminds me of a study that was done recently. Too lazy to find and link, but it talked about how our minds protect us by viewing death as something that only happens to "everybody else" but not ourselves. And while this study was focused on ourselves, I would argue this extends somewhat to the people around us. A lot of people just plain would rather pretend their family, friends, pets, and other loved ones are immune to death. And yet then it happens, and I think no matter who you are, it forces you to contend with that fact that 1) people are mortal and 2) life is never static and constantly changes. And I feel that's what the story shows with its themes. That even if we want things to be the same after someone close to us dies, it just cant be. And even if we don't want it to, the fact we have to change how we go about life is a driving force for changing one's perspective. Thus why it was the needed catalyst for Marcus and Scott. Until Laura died, both were static. There was no reason to change, and there was always the illusion there'd be time later to make amends, fight, etc. Whatever they wanted to do. But with Laura dying, whether they wanted to or not, they had to change, because their lives went from something that had Laura in it to lives that had no Laura.

QUESTION 7. Which characters do you enjoy seeing interact the most? What about their dynamic interests you?
QUESTION 8. Do you think Scott and David deserved their vengeance? Why or why not? What part of their vengeance made the most emotional impact for you? In the bigger picture of things, what do you think we can learn from the story’s themes of vengeance?
snuffysam
I think one interesting aspect of this series relates to a couple questions that have been asked so far - that death can have both positive and negative aspects. Like, Laura's death caused Marcus & Scott to reconcile. Marcus finally began to accept David. But... there's also the vengeance that consumed and quite literally broke Scott. David was never able to have a loving relationship because of the weight of his actions. Like, the story is facing "death can be a chance to move on and start anew" off against "it's impossible to truly move past the death of a loved one", and it's like... i'm not sure there's a correct answer here. Like obviously the stuff they did to Mike was over the top, but... Revenge!Scott & David were right in that they never would have been truly happy had Mike actually escaped. Perhaps the answer lies in some middle ground, but, like... if they had captured Mike and turned him over to the police before evidence came in, would that have been right? And, like, what if Mike had just spent life in prison? Would they feel that justice had truly been served, and be able to move on with their lives? Or would Scott's desire for vengeance keep bubbling up regardless? Is there any scenario where David has a happy life with Nathan, or was that option taken away the moment Laura was killed?
RebelVampire
QUESTION 9. What sorts of art or story details have you noticed in the way the comic is crafted that you think deserves attention?
QUESTION 10. What do you think the blackouts say about who Scott is? Is it split personalities, parts of one whole person, or something else? Why do you think Scott’s tale of vengeance features this, and what does it say about people in general?
RebelVampire
@snuffysam I love that analysis of the story. It really is a story of contrasts about how death can be a new start but also potentially something you never get past. Although I would like to say that I think David could've had the chance. Even Scott said David wouldn't have gone along with it had they not been drunk. And I kind of believe him when they said that. I easily think there's a parallel world where David noped out, had a good life with Nathan, and Revenge!Scott killed Mike and went to jail or something like that. Which I am saying I don't think the opposite is true; that there's a scenario where Scott could've been happy and moved on. Cause the unfortunate thing about death, is you cant hit ctrl z on it. I don't think Scott could ever forgive Mike ever and no justice would ever be good enough.
RebelVampire
7) I think I enjoyed seeing David and Scott interacting the most. I kind of like all these little hints about the end in the way David interacts with Scott. And yet a lot of it just comes off as David just being kind of weird. And then the whole end just adds so much more weight to their interactions, that it's really worth a second read to just soak in everything that was a red flag. 8) I don't think Scott and David deserved their vengeance, but I'm also not one big on vengeance. Cause sure, Mike is dead and gone. But both of their lives were eternally ruined. It didn't help put Laura to rest (as she already moved on), it didn't help make Scott happier (as he completely broke himself, and it didn't help make David happier (as he lived with guilt forever). So in the end, they gained nothing, and someone else was added to the dead pile for that nothing. And additionally, because Mike wasn't brought to justice through the proper channels, nothing was learned by anybody else in society about how killing is bad and don't do it. And basically, yeah. For me those are the things we should learn. Vengeance is temporary satisfaction. It doesn't fix shit and just leaves everyone worse off. As far as the emotional impact, it was really the whole package and probably the conclusion. Cause again, they broke themselves for this. And I think to a degree, that's the saddest part. That while they could've learned to live with Laura's death, it's the other stuff that killed their souls.
RebelVampire
9) I love the details in the dialogue. To pull off the ending it did, the story really needed tight control, especially with David. And I love how it was executed. There was always that fine line between sensing something is wrong but also kind of wondering if you're being paranoid along with Scott or something. And I love all those little hints and pullbacks to keep you guessing. 10) If you ever listen to people who have killed spontaneously out of rage, you'll often hear them describe it kind of as a blackout. Some barely even remember doing the crime, and all they remember is the feeling of white hot rage. For me, this story somewhat parallels that. And in essence, all they say about who Scott is is that he's an angry person upset over the death of his wife. And I think that necessitated the formation of split personalities, as while not every case, there are cases where they form as a self defense mechanism. So while the first blackout was probably rage, the subsequent blackouts were a split personality thing protecting his mind from dealing with the debate about feeling justified vs. feeling guilty. As for what this tale says about people in general, I think it's that we all have the capacity to make poor choices and kill others. Like even if were nice people who give to charity, we all have the capacity for evil. And that sometimes this is good to remember, cause it reminds us to think our actions through before we act on emotional impulses and do stuff we can never take back.

Hey, writer here. Been watching all the analysis you've done so far and just wanted to chime in and say omg!!! I absolutely love everything you've said! Both of you are right about what you've said. @snuffysam we did indeed not want to offer an answer to the questions posed. Just have the two "sides" collide and let the audience decide after they witness the outcome. @RebelVampire I love how you analyze the story and spot both the intentions and the hard work it took for us to achieve this end result! Makes me happy and proud to see people understanding all the messages and all the stuff between the lines and realizing there were clues throughout the story about the conclusion. I wanted this story to be one that as soon as you read it once you would want to go back and reread it this time knowing how it ends and seeing all the subtle clues we dropped in various episodes. If you want to ask me anything feel free! I thoroughly enjoyed all you've said so far. :D(edited)

QUESTION 11. What do you think are this particular comic’s strengths? What do you think makes this comic unique? Please elaborate.
QUESTION 12. Given the ending, do you think the righteous side of Scott will ever prevail and turn himself in? Additionally, why do you feel that side of Scott is getting stronger compared to his vengeful side that remembers events?
RebelVampire
QUESTION 13. Do you have any final thoughts to share overall about the comic now that it's finished? QUESTION 14. Overall, how has the story impacted you, whether emotionally, the way you view something about life, or the way stories are crafted? In other words, what will stick with you about this story?
RebelVampire
11) I think the comic's strength is just in how the story is told. I've talked about this to death, probably, but the small hints in foreshadowing and everything really make for great twists. Cause its the kind of twists where thinking back it's so obviously but it's handled so well that in the moment, you cant really see it. And those sorts of twists are hard to pull off. 12) Given Scott's age, I don't think so. I think Scott is likely to die before his non-revenge side manages to gain control and stay in control. Or, optionally, by that point people will just think he's so old he's gone senile and everyone will brush it off as some old man just having memory issues. As for why the non-revenge side is getting stronger, I think it actually has a lot to do with Scott's age. I'm gonna trigger warning here for anyone who feels uncomfortable talking about mortality. Skip this last bit if need be. As we get older, we're faced more and more with the fact of our own mortality. While we can ignore it, the older we get, the less time there is. And once you start hitting close to the average lifespan age, the more you realize that every year you're not dead is kind of a miracle. But that being said, this sort of stuff often makes us think back on life and reflect on whether we lived a good life or not. And I kind of feel like that's what's happening to Scott. He's reflecting and afraid he didn't live a good life after all and that if there are no consequences now, if there is an afterlife, there could be consequences there. So I think those fears are kind of overriding the vengeance side as the end draws near.
RebelVampire
13) My final thoughts are just that I hope more people read it. It is certainly mature with lots of dark themes, but the story is woven together really well and the narrative is kept super tight. Every scene has a purpose, and the comic is just the right length to keep you invested without dragging you along drama after drama. 14) I think what will stick with me the most is the blackouts. How people's brains protect them from themselves is not something I always think about enough. And yet here it was used to beautifully to create not only great themes of revenge, but also create a good twist ending. This is definitely something I'll remember for my own work. This story is a good example of how we can be our own worst enemy and flat out not realize that cause our brains don't let us. I think this is also something that will stick with me because, honestly, that's a little horrifying too. We always want to believe that we're in control of our minds, but that just is not the case all the time. So there's a lot that could be done with these ideas.

So... Oddcreature from AO3. And I was just wondering if you were taking prompts? Because if I could have some reassuring!Gabriel when Sam feels particularly down? I've been having some mental image issues recently, so if you could that would be much appreciated!
Hey darling! I’m so sorry this took so long (actually I have no idea how long this took cause I haven’t been on Tumblr in over a year and it doesn’t date messages so???) BUT I’M ASSUMING IT’S REALLY LATE AND I’M REALLY SORRY AND OF COURSE YOU CAN HAVE SOME HAPPY FEELS YOU GIVE ME HAPPY FEELS ALL THE TIME YOUR COMMENTS MAKE MY WEEK@thesongsmithtumbles so bare with me P.P.S. The Enochian is from the first online translator that came up when I googled it, I’m 100% certain it’s wrong but it’s slightly better than just making up words“Sammantha! Come on, get up!” Gabriel wasn’t used to being the first person out of bed in the morning, but had brushed that off since Sam, Cas and Dean hadn’t gotten home from their latest hunt until nearly five that morning. Now though, it was nearly five in the afternoon, and the moose still had yet to emerge from his cocoon in the dark of their shared bedroom. Sam just grumbled in response, dragging one of Gabriel’s ten spare pillows over his head (I like to be comfortable, Sammykinz!) and wrapping their ridiculous sparkly plaid comforter tighter around himself (comfortable and fabulous, look, it’s even plaid, for you!!). Of course that wasn’t acceptable. Gabriel’d been alone for three whole days since they hadn’t recovered enough strength after saving everyone’s asses on the last hunt to be anything more than a risk on this one.  They’d also barely been awake enough to shove their face into their favorite spot between Sam’s neck and shoulder and mumble a few phrases in enochian before passing back out, and now Sam wouldn’t even look at them!? “Sammoose! Come on, I need attention, you need food, it’s almost night, get up!”Sam threw another spare pillow at them with another grunt. “I’m tired Gabriel, leave me alone.”Gabriel huffed, catching the pillow and throwing it back at the lump of blankets that was their boyfriend before unceremoniously flopping on top of said lump. “Probably because you’ve been sleeping for twelve hours, get up!” With that, Gabriel ripped the blankets away and ran out of the room, fully expecting Sam to chase after them, that’s usually how they got Sam up on these lazy days after all. Except… They didn’t even hear the bed shift, and instead of running to their usual hiding place in the last shower stall, they cautiously slipped back into their room only to find Sam curled in on himself, hiding his face in his arms. “Samshine..?” They asked, softer this time, and carefully stepped back inside, quietly closing the door behind themselves . “Is… everything okay?”Sam didn’t move, not when Gabriel sat on the edge of the bed and lightly stroked his naked side, healing the newest cuts and bruises as he went, not when he leaned down to kiss the patch of exposed jaw Sam left uncovered, not even when Gabriel lightly pinched the ticklish spot behind his left elbow. “Sam..?”The lack of a nickname finally got Sam to glance up at his partner, eyes red rimmed and aged to rival even Gabriel’s own. “I can’t today Gabe, I’m sorry, I know you were lonely but… just go annoy Dean or something.”“Can’t what?” Gabriel asked, cocking his head to the side in the way Sam had long ago stopped trying to tell them made them look like a confused bird. “Get out of bed? It’s easy, see!” Gabriel hopped up and did a little dance, waving his hands in the air before offering one to Sam. Sam sighed, burying his face back in the pillows and shaking his head. “Maybe for you, just… Not today Gabe, I’ll do whatever you want tomorrow, just… not today.”Gabriel frowned, nodding slightly and walking out of the room - only to walk in a handful of minutes later struggling to carry a tray loaded down with snacks and drinks, there was even a jumbo bag of licorice, even though Gabriel had spent the entire two years of their relationship making fun of Sam for liking it. (It’s barely even considered candy you heathen!)Sam hadn’t moved since he left, but at the sound of the door he finally sat up. “Look Dean I know they’re-” it took a second of staring at Gabriel before his hazy eyes realized that it was not, in fact, his brother and he closed his mouth with an audible click. “Gabriel I thought I told you-”“I know!” Gabriel chirped happily, setting their tray on the nightstand - without knocking everything everywhere for once - and flopped back down into bed. Sam frowned slightly when there was no more explanation forthcoming. No words at all, actually, which was about the most un-Gabriel thing he’d ever seen. It was kind of nice though, he decided, and cautiously laid back down, this time even daring to curl up facing his partner, although he did keep his eyes closed. He was slightly startled, then, when Gabriel’s skilled fingers found their way into his hair and softly started massaging his scalp, even more so to feel Gabriel pressing soft kisses over his face and shoulders. “I love you.”That finally had Sam looking up at his bedmate, surprised to not find the usual playful glint in their eyes, even their trademark smirk was missing. Of course, there was no doubt that Gabriel loved him, it just wasn’t something he ever said, especially not out of the blue.“I… Love you too…”Gabriel smiled, an unusually - almost uncomfortably - soft smile and pressed  another gentle kiss to Sam’s newly uncovered mouth. “What’s… Going on with you?” Sam asked softly, settling himself where he was dragged against Gabriel’s chest and resting his head on their shoulder. “You’re always the cuddlee…”Gabriel hummed, kissing his head. “You’re depressed, I thought you’d like being the one held for once.”Sam flinched at the word, shaking his head. “I’m not depressed! I’m just-”Gabriel clamped a hand over his mouth, rolling his eyes. “Oh please, just cause I don’t feel human emotions doesn’t mean I don’t get them.”“You just told me you loved me,” Sam quipped, a little bit of the light coming back to his tired eyes as they talked. Even if Gabriel was impossible and loud and annoying and occasionally absolutely disgusting, he did make Sam happy… Most of the time.“Yeah well I was never human like Cassy, I can’t actually love you, so if you’d prefer I can start saying ol g-chis-ge ol malirg, or oadriax g-chis-ge ferbouwe niis ivichheid if you prefer.” Gabriel shrugged, absently drawing symbols over Sam’s naked back. “You don't have to, it's not that you ever say anything of the sort, anyway,” Sam shrugged, suddenly even more forlorn. Two years. He knew Gabriel was an archangel, he knew they felt things differently, he knew that they would never love him the way a human loves another human, but to hear it so plainly put that he would never be loved by his partner… Okay, maybe that depressed him, but he wasn’t just depressed!“Wanna ask me what those mean before you go down that little self loathing hole of yours, Samshine?” Gabriel asked softly, gently coaxing Sam to lift his chin, not continuing until anguished eyes met his. “You are my soulmate… well, I believe lifemate is a more accurate translation… and we are bonded for eternity. Just because I can’t love you in the same way doesn’t mean that I don’t love you just as much as you love me… Besides, humans are the ones that tell you they love you one day and then turn around and leave you the next, angels mate for life.”“You still don’t say it,” Sam mumbled petulantly, much to his own embarrassment. “I-I mean… it doesn’t matter, I-”Gabriel covered his mouth again, this time with their own lips, until Sam was obediently kissing back. “I say it every day, you just don’t hear it… You’re the one that’s good at expressing emotion I…’m still learning. Why do you think I get up and jog with you? Why do you think I clean our room, or cook for you, or heal you up after every hunt - especially today! Do you know how worn my grace is after last time? I had to take on an en entire hoard of demons lead by leviathans by myself and then fly all of us - and that stupid car - home since I can’t drive! And that! I could have just grabbed you and Cas and fucked off, but I didn’t! I even saved your stupid brother even though all he ever does is yell at me.”Sam blushed, smiling shyly as Gabriel ranted, and cutting them off with a kiss of his own as they finished. “I’ll teach you to drive.”Gabriel smiled at that, nodding and hugging Sam closer to his chest. “That would be nice…”“...can I have some licorice..?” Their smile only grew as they handed Sam the massive bag of red sticks. “You mean this not-candy? It’s all yours.”Sam laughed weakly, curling closer and eating quietly, for once allowing himself to take what he wanted rather than pulling away to save face. “Thank you… for all of this… I know it’s not easy for you to be so… so…”Gabriel snorted, ruffling Sam’s hair. “Nice? You know, I was actually quite the nice guy before my brother exploded everything, my dad abandoned me, and the rest of my family started trying to kill each other and me… Maybe being a prankster is just how I deal with is… Just like some people drink and sleep around… just like some people try to take control of the situation and fix it even if it’s a million miles over their head… Just like some people hide behind books…”“Just like some people chase their partner out of bed instead of admitting they can’t get up..?” Sam whispered, anxiously tracing  the buttons on Gabriel’s shirt. “O-or… Or pretend they got home late because they… because they couldn’t…”“Couldn’t..?” Gabriel prompted softly, pressing a soft kiss to Sam’s forehead as he tensed, “where were you last night..?”Sam looked down, biting his lip. “I was in the dungeon… I was… And I couldn’t let anyone see… Cause there was no reason, it wasn’t even a hard case…”Gabriel took a moment to peek into Sam's mind to figure out what exactly he was saying before replying, gently lifting his chin. “Sam, you don’t need an excuse to cry,” they lightly kissed his eyelids, wiping away the few tears that spilled. “I’m not Dean, I’m not going to tease you, I’m not Cas, it’s not gonna scare me away… I’m your partner, and I want to be here for you, let me.”Sam hesitated for another moment before nodding and allowing himself to melt the final inch into Gabriel’s embrace. “I… I guess I can manage that… I love you…”“Ol g-chis-ge ol malirg.”

Faelian literally can’t live without his clothes
(Night after session 41.2)
[TLDR: A gay skit. I don’t think it accomplished anything.]
((ECCHI WARNING))
Faelian
At the inn in mysterytown? Faelian whines and lays down on the bed. "My outfit got totally ruined by that guy."
London
London pats his back. "Maybe it won't be much to get a new one? Your green one looks okay."
Faelian
"Hm.. well... the blue and silver one was my favorite... I do still have that guys outfit though. Maybe I can sell it and get a look alike of the other one?"
London
"The one time you have an excuse to get something new, you decide to get a replica? Doesn't that sound kind of silly?" It was a nice outfit, though. He admits to himself. But he thinks Faelian looks good in anything.
Faelian
He laughs a little. "That probably does seem kind of silly, huh? It really is my favorite though. It really was my favorite though.. I'll feel weird if I don't get it back. I should have let that guy use the green one to start with but I didn't expect him to get blown away."
London
"I mean, I can't really blame you. I've been wearing the same clothes for..." He's counting on his fingers... "About 7 years? Wow..."
Faelian
Faelian's eyes widen at hearing that. "No wonder you're attached to them so much. I guess I kind of know how you feel now. I'm not sure how long I've had mine for... but I did grow really attached to them as well."
London
"Yeah, but that's my character trait. It's weird hearing it from you..." He teases. "Are you sure you don't want to at least try looking for something new? I'm just so used to you always wanting to shop."
Faelian
He can't help but laugh at hearing that. "Is it really that weird?" He thinks about it for a second. "No... I'm sure I want the same outfit again.. Heh... don't worry. Just because I buy the same thing doesn't mean I won't buy different things in the future too."
London
"Hmm..." London tries to make a duplicate but fails. "I don't think anyone has the skill to make an exact duplicate" He huffs. "It's too detailed to describe."
Faelian
Faelian watches London curiously but then frowns when he says it won't be easy to make the same outfit again. "Is that what you just tried to do? Hmm... I can probably draw it well enough that someone could make it for me. It won't be cheap but I have that guys outfit to sell and it looked like it was worth something decent too."
London
"Hey... what do you think his clothes would look like on you?" London tilts his head.
Faelian
"Hmm.. they were pretty nice. I'm not sure how they'd look on me though." He rubs at the back of his head.
London
"It's not too late to find out...." He smiles innocently. That guy was trash, but he was still curious.
Faelian
Faelian gets the hint. London wanted him to try it on. He was curious too now so he didn't mind. "You don't think it would be weird of me to try them on?"
London
"Won't know till you try it." That was a lie. He thinks anything could look good on Faelian.
Faelian
"Hmm.... alright then.." Faelian gets up and digs through his stuff. He pulls the outfit out and inspects it for a few moments. "I'll be right back." He starts to head into the nearby bathroom with it.
London
"Wait." London interrupted him mid-travel and waved a hand. "What if you got dressed in here? I wouldn't mind. We're both guys anyway. Nothing we haven't seen before, hehe." An innocent smile..
Faelian
Faelian paused when London called out to him and looked back curiously. His eyes soon widened though and he found himself flushing once again. London was right so why was he getting so worked up over that suggestion? They had changed and even bathed together before after all. Maybe he only felt like it was different now because he had confessed. "Alright." He had no reason not to after all.
Faelian put Daora's outfit on the nearby table and started to change. All the while he felt much more aware of himself and his actions than he usually did.
London
London is sitting on the bed with his legs crossed like a kid. He has a dumb smile on his face, as he watches Faelian undress at a pace far more slow than usual.
Faelian
Faelian notices that he's being a little slower than usual. Half of it was on purpose and half was due to him feeling a little self conscious. He takes a peek or two at the other as he changes. Eventually he's down to the bare minimum and he starts to put Daora's clothes on.
London
When Faelian looks, London does the hand motion of 'keep going.' He is not even trying to hide the fact he is staring at him. If anything, he is a little surprised Faelian isn't commenting on the fact or getting really flustered. Maybe he should make it more embarrassing somehow? "Hold on, Faelian." The iconic 'stop' symbol is shown. :raised_hand:
Faelian
When Faelian got that motion that told him to keep going and saw that the other wasn't even trying to pretend he wasn't watching his cheeks grew a little more red. He paused when asked to wait yet again and looked over at the other. "Yeah?"
London
London stood up and walked closer, eyeing the man from head to toe, as he made a circle around him. Then he tapped his chin, and finally dropped a fist on his other hand to show he had an idea. "I know, Faelian! Why don't you just go out in public like this?!"
Faelian
Faelian's cheeks warmed up even more now that London was even closer and looking his body up and down so obviously. His own eyes watched London intensely as he walked around him. Just as London wanted Faelian grew even more flustered by his suggestion, his ears even grew a bit red. London better not have any ideas like that on his birthday... "There's no way I’ll do that and you know it!"
London
"Why not? As long as you pick the right fabric, it's not against the law, is it?"
Faelian
Faelian looks unimpressed by the idea. "It's not decent to walk around almost naked unless you're at a beach or something, that's why. I'd feel self conscious."
London
"It's okay. I won't make you. Just an idea. You're cute enough to make it work, you know?" He nods to agree with himself.
Faelian
Faelian's cheeks and ears were still red. Hearing London call him cute wasn't helping them cool down anytime soon either. "Well.. as flattering as that is it would be way too embarrassing." He grins. "I won't mind at a beach or something though."
London
"Hmm.. We'll see." He plops back down on the bed. "Are you still insisting on wearing your usual clothes, though? This is the first time I'm offering to go clothes shopping with you without complaining." He thought it sounded like a good idea earlier, but that was before he realized Faelian was obsessed with blue.
Faelian
That grin tugs at the corner of his mouth even more. "I'm sure. I really want the same one again. Once all this is over and I have somewhere to actually keep more clothes at I’ll buy even more, whether you complain or not."
London
London pouts and lies back, so he doesn't have to face him anymore. "Idiot elf."
Faelian
Faelian puts his hand on his hip and stands there for a moment. He moves closer to the other bard soon after though. Leaning over him a bit so that he can see his face. "Hm? What was that? Did you want to buy me something special?" He smiles. "Actually I do need an extra set of clothes to sleep in now that I think of it."
London
“Tch.” He pouts his lips more to repeat the phrase even louder. " Idiot elf. "
"It's not the same, forget about it." This will save him money anyway.
Faelian
Faelian sighs softly. "What is it then? I really like that outfit.. did you have something in mind instead?"
London
"No. My sense of fashion sucks. You are making a really wise decision, so I can't judge you too hard over it." He grumbled.
Faelian
"Heh... it's not that bad. I'd actually really like to wear something you'd pick out for me. I could trade in this flashy green one for something you picked out." He didn't want to carry too many things at a time so he was limiting himself to two outfits.
London
"Nah, don't worry about it." He was embarrassed and covered his face with a pillow. The only reason he was upset was because he got one-upped by a flashy costume. London now realized nothing could come between Faelian and his threads.
Faelian
Faelian pouts a little now too before nudging London in the side playfully. "Aww... come on. I'm really interested to see what you'd pick out. Let's go do it."
London
He rolls over (half due to the action slightly tickling him). "Nooo. I've lost motivation. Now I'm just lazy."
Faelian
Faelian pouts again. "Aw.. please?" He pokes his fingers on London's side a bit and grins.
London
There is a suppressed noise of laughter as he rolls farther across the bed. Faelian can now see his grumpy face staring at him. He knows what Faelian was trying to do.
Faelian
Faelian grins more. "Come on... we can go now. I don't want to go alone. I can draw my outfit up real quick and maybe if I pay extra they'll get it done by tomorrow."
London
London rolls back far enough so he can be face down again. "Hearing that is less motivation to go." Faelian could hear his muffled voice say. Then London turned his head up enough to speak more clearly, "But nothing's stopping you from going if you really want to.."
Faelian
Faelian moves closer now. He planned on touching London's side again but the other looked up before he could. He smiled nervously with his hand frozen near the other's side. "Hmm.. yeah. I really do. I really want you to help me pick another one out too though. Wouldn't you want a scarf that looked like your old one if it got all burned up?"
London
"I'm not sure..." Faelian was kind of close. He was asking to get memed. London gently put a hand on the arm that was set near him and quickly tugged it to pull him down closer to him. "I think if I lost my scarf, I would accept the fact, actually." He continues the conversation as if nothing had happened.
Faelian
He was surprised when London tugged him down near him like that and quickly grew a little flustered. Did London not care that he was still half naked or had he forgot? Faelian didn't really mind either way and instead snuggled up against the other bard. "Hm.. really?"
London
"Yeah..." After this, he delicately touched Faelian's shoulder with his fingertips and took the chance to stroke his arm. His skin was so soft. London moved the hand back up, not wanting to lose this chance he has been given. Faelian felt the hand brush the back of his neck. London pulled Faelian a bit closer while dangling fingers through his hair.
Faelian
Faelian was going to continue their conversation but his train of thought was soon broken and he grew quiet. He had expected London to tease him or something but not this. He lightly pressed his shoulder into London's touch. His cheeks flushed as his arm was stroked and he shivered slightly at the feeling. It was even more surprising to feel that London was pulling him closer now. He was looking at London with a lot of curious interest now. Did he want a kiss? "Hm..?"
London
" Keep talking. " He whispered in elvish. "I'm really not as attached to my clothes as I make myself out to be. I just don't see a point in getting new ones when what I have now is still wearable." It took special skills to make them last seven years. And now, London was using those special skills to caress down Faelian's neck to his spine and to further feel his back. He inched closer to him all the while.
Faelian
His ears grew a little more red now. "W-Well.. I guess I'm a little more attached to my clothes than I seemed. It's really only that outfit though.. it's actually really surprising to learn you're not as attached to yours..." The contact.. was really nice. It was honestly something he'd wanted for a long time. Even if London later played it off as just teasing him he wouldn't be forgetting this anytime soon. His expression showed that he was happy with what was going on too. He wanted to touch London back but he resisted and decided to see where London was going with this instead. His heart was racing quickly now and he continued to shiver every now and then as the other bard continued to touch his skin.
London
"Heh he..." Faelian was stuttering so much, it really made this worthwhile. Now he brought his hand forward and laid it on Faelian's chest. The pulse was strong enough to feel without any effort. He rubbed a hand across Faelian's skin, moving it down, but stopping early enough to make the motion a tease. Instead he laid it on his hip and moved his own body close enough for a half embrace from the other arm. " Don't stop talking. " He said again, but this time didn't offer any new topics to bring up.
Faelian
London was laughing. He looked like he was having fun teasing him in this kind of situation. He liked it too honestly. Faelian's heart beat even faster when London's hand moved onto his chest and then lower. By now his face was as red as a tomato and he had shivered quite a few times.
When prompted to continue talking yet again he furrowed his brows and seemed to think for a few moments. In the end he just continued talking about what he had been before. "...A-Are you sure you don't want to come help pick me out another new outfit.. or some sleeping wear at least?" Hesitantly he moved one of his arms to half embrace London in return.
London
But while Faelian made that move, London's own smile twisted into a smirk. Moving the hand up from Faelian's hip, he finally reached his destination - and followed the move with a fast tickle at his side.
Faelian
Faelian laughs and clamps his arm down to trap London's hand as soon as the other tickles him. He narrows his eyes and furrows his brows at the other while a smile tugs at his lips. "So that's where you were going with that..."
"That was an awful lot of work just to get a tickle in, you know." He smiles more.
London
London did a light laugh in return - half in fun and half in fear at being tickled back. "Yeah, well, it was worth it." He said proudly. "You enjoyed it, didn't you?"
Faelian
His smile looks a little nervous suddenly and he blushes again. "I did. It felt really nice... You should watch what you're doing though. If you kept that up for too long it might have put us both in an awkward situation."
London
With those words said, London's the one getting embarrassed now. "Oh. Well." ... "Were you serious about not doing anything until we were together?" His blush subsides (for the most part), and he smiles.
Faelian
Faelian's silent for a few moments while thinking about it. "Hm... I suppose I might be able to be talked into something before then... maybe." He looks off to the side a little while blushing. A smile tugged at one corner of his lips.
London
London smiles and then frees his arms to push him off the bed. Next, Faelian sees him peak down with a sneaky grin. "You said you didn't want me if you knew you would be sharing me, remember?" The week wasn't over, so he is alluding to his three potential flings going on.
"So I'll have to say 'no' for your benefit, this time. Unless you don't mind being friends with benefits.." When London mentioned he tried to hit up a skeleton, Faelian asked why he didn't go to him first. Maybe friends with benefits or flings weren't totally out of the question.
Faelian
Faelian makes a oof sound when he hits the floor. He gives London a not so amused expression when he peeks down at him. He narrows his eyes and smirks a little in return after London speaks. "I suppose that's for the best then." He didn't really want to mention that he was sure London hadn't found any flings yet. He would have bragged about them after all. "Friends with benefits doesn't sound as nice as lovers, I don't mind waiting a while."
Slowly he moved to get up and headed back over to Daora's outfit and started to pull it on.
London
London lies on the bed while watching him with a sigh. "Being friends with benefits for just two days doesn't sound too bad, I think. It'd be fun to experience different things with you, and maybe we can have that threesome you wanted. Who would you be interested in for that sort of thing anyway?"
Faelian
He pauses while hearing that. "Hm... well.. two days isn't really that long..but you already said no, didn't you? And if you think that'll change my mind after whenever we finally become a couple you're wrong." He looks back over at London while getting dressed. "I think you're confusing what I said. I said I was willing to do a threesome because you were interested in it."
London
"Yeah, I said no in place of you. Mmmm." London realized he was really changing his story a lot. He wasn't sure what he was trying to say. "I think it would be fun to have a lot of different experiences with you, whether we're friends, lovers, or friends with benefits - both good and bad ones."
Faelian
"Ah, I see." By now Faelian was fulling wearing Daora's cloths. He eyed himself in the nearby mirror while still talking to the other. After looking at himself for a few moments he looked back at the other and rose one of his eyebrows. "..Well when you put it that way it does sound kind of nice.. it would only be for around two or three days anyway.. and like I said before I might not mind open relationships in the future as well. Did you want to give that a try then..?"
London
"Three days doesn't sound long.. I wonder what kind of specific experiences we can gain from it..." London at this point was so distracted by his own thoughts, he did not notice Faelian was full dressed. His hands covered his eyes, as he tried to figure out the actual benefits to being friends with benefits.
Faelian
"Also how can bad experiences be fun anyway?" He decided to mention that part before he totally let it slip from his mind. "Hm.. I can't think of anything specific from that either." Sex would be there but that would be in a normal relationship too. He wasn't really sure what London was thinking or where he was going with this idea.
"Hey, look." He tries to copy how Daora stood.
London
"Bad experiences can make life more exciting. Don't you think?" He uncovered his eyes. "All that really comes to mind is that threesomes seem more possible, but I can't think of anyone to have a threesome with. Maybe there's not much to gain from it, hm.."
London sat up to look as told and laughed. "Now say that 'my goddess' line of his!"
Faelian
"I think they can help me learn but.. bad experiences are usually just that.. bad. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding though." He rubbed at the back of his neck a little. "Are you thinking of people in the party? That would be pretty awkward, wouldn't it? I just assumed we'd find some good looking stranger in a tavern or something."
He laughs now. He had been planing on saying that to start with. He clears his throat and does his best impression of Daora. "My Goddess told me to help you all."
London
London laughs at the impression, then calms down to speak again.
"A stranger might be okay if they seem friendly. Did you want to try that tonight?"
Faelian
Faelian laughs too but looks away while deep in thought when London asks that. "Ah... I'd rather my first time with you be only with you actually."
"If you really want to do that we'll have to have a private moment first." A smile tugs at his lips again and he looks at London with serious looking eyes.
London
He smiles with a little blush on his cheeks. "That's fine! Then.. we can probably just forget this threesome thing. Three days as friends with benefits isn't enough to do both, I'm sure."
Faelian
Faelian feels pleased at hearing that and seeing that he caused London to blush. "Yeah, three days is pretty short. It's not like we won't ever have the chance to try out other things eventually anyway."
"Anyway... my goddess demands that I go sell this outfit right now. Do you want to come with me?" He started changing again. This time wasn't nearly as slow and he was back into his green outfit in no time.
London
"Hold on!!" London stands up quick to hurry over to the elf and nabs the pocketwatch. "This might have more value on its own."
Faelian
He looks surprised. "Oh! I forgot about that. You're probably right. Does that mean you're coming with me to shop?"
London
"Sure." He smiled. "Let me see that belt, too! You never know..."
Faelian
Faelian hands the belt over to London before putting the outfit in his bag. "Hey, can I borrow a piece of paper and your pencil?"
London
"Sure.." He gives it to him while putting the accessories away.
Faelian
"Thanks." Faelian draws up his old outfit and makes notes about it on the paper. Once he's done he puts it in his bag and hands London his pencil back. "Here. You ready to go now?"
London
"Sure."
Faelian
Faelian raises an eyebrow at him. He sure was saying sure a lot. Was he still sad that he wanted his old outfit back? "Come on then." He says this and moves towards the door. He holds it open for him soon after.
London
London gets up and follows. He hopes the watch and belt can give him big money.
Faelian
Faelian leads him into the town to sell the clothes and put his order in for a new set. Once that's done he turns to the other and smiles. "Hey, let's go look at some other clothes. I want to see what you'd pick out for me."
London
"No, it's late. I'm ready to head back." He was already turned around walking toward the door.
Faelian
Faelian moves in front of him and pouts. "Aw.. please? This might be my only chance since you said you wouldn't complain while shopping."
London
"I said I wouldn't complain if you didn't get the duplicate of your clothes made." He shrugs. “You have two sets of clothes now, that's more than enough.”
Faelian
He pouts more. "No fun.. I already said I'd sell this green one.. also that other one isn't done yet... so I still officially only have one outfit at the moment."
London
"Nah. You can buy what you want. I already told you my conditions, so that's that." He said with a stretch.
Faelian
Faelian frowns a little and sighs heavily. "Alright then... I guess we can just go back to the inn then. I'll come pick up my new outfit in the morning."
London
"Okay! But are you sure you don't want to stay longer and pick your own new clothes?"
Faelian
"Yeah. I wasn't planning on getting anything new unless you picked it out anyway."
London
So they headed back. Next time: Dawn of the final day.

It additionally happens to be a genuine email that sends people to a real Google login page from where the scammers are stealing the username of passwords of customers. Google mentioned that there was a problem and said that it turned into now fixed.

What’s Google Docs Phishing rip-off
It’s far quite easy. a whole lot of users have stated that they have received These odd emails from Google Medical doctors, asking them to click on on a Google Medical doctors link and then edit that document. Now that feels like a phishing email. But the atypical bit here is that once a user clicks on the link, a web page that could be a true Google page opens. On this web page, customers are requested to offer their electronic mail and passwords. Because It’s far a proper web page, the web browsers like Chrome and Firefox do not be aware the phishing attempt. Once a user elements the e-mail Id and password, that records are then stolen through a rogue app (or apps), already inside the Google systems and already related with the user account.
How Is Google Search Changing Us?
Typing in Google and searching for stuff has in no way been easier. Have you ever questioned how it is converting us? Study on for insights.
For example, we need to appearance up to the which means of a phrase or locate synonyms of that word. We can discover the answer within the relay of some clicks. inside the old days, while the net was no longer there, we had to show over the pages of a dictionary and locate the word we were trying to find matching the first few alphabets.
A seek on Google, for this be counted, certainly has made this less difficult. We’re too reluctant and lazy in recent times to seek advice from a solid dictionary whilst Google is so available.
We can also find facts relevant to investigate the area of interest We’re interested in
We are able to find new websites and bookmark them for destiny references. All these data may be retrieved on Google clicks.
But, no longer all data at the net corresponding to a Google seek can be one hundred% applicable and accurate. We may additionally, in that case, must purchase books and consult them. So for brief runs, it’s miles ok and We can take it. But if We are writing a thesis, studies paper, article or file, this is where solid books come into the picture.
no longer all of the searches on Google supply the solution We are looking for. Now and again we fall right into a loop, constantly clicking and losing our time when the facts can be rightly discovered in catalogs or at the library of our office.
Loose boards are available on the web and a Google seek on those can rightly let us find out them.
I think it is right to seek advice from the forums for the records you need badly. This can be related to programming troubles or other topics for that be counted. If they may be famous, you get good answers to your issues from gurus or professionals in those forums.
Fiction eBooks come in reachable as well on many Unfastened websites. As opposed to spending cash on fictions, you may just download correct fiction eBooks from the sites and these websites you could find on Googling.
The blessings of a Google seek have made our lives tons less complicated, less difficult and cozier by letting us get admission to the required facts at a quick pace. However for long time commitments which, I’ve explained before, Google searches virtually waste our time without giving us the records we want and in that case, it’s miles extra reliable for us to seek advice from a library.
