Hmm... it's interesting how they made Luz wear a witch's cloak in Hunting Palisman - the episode where she introduces Flapjack to Hunter. This is also the episode where Hunter defies Belos by choosing Luz over him. He goes back to his palace empty-handed and he doesn't hand over Flapjack to Belos. Unbeknownst to Hunter, he is following Caleb's footsteps.

But then, in Hollow Mind, they made the choice to have Luz not wear her witches cloak - instead they made Luz wear a jacket with a giant "E" on it. They could have given Luz a completely different outfit like they did in Hunting Palisman. But they don't... they make her wear this specific jacket...

...They also make Hunter wear Caleb's symbol in Hollow Mind... an episode where Luz and Hunter are trapped in Philip's mind... where we can see paintings of the two most important characters in Philip's life - his brother and a witch from another world.

But I'm sure this is all unintentional.

Mhm, okay, I see... I see, very interesting. Here we have Caleb being lead away from Philip by a witch from another world after the brother's have a fall out. This fall out marks the point of no return for them, as Philip later kills Caleb out of anger.

Hunter and Philip's relationship completely deteriorates because of Luz, which leads to Philip's decision to kill Hunter. She shows Hunter Belos' true nature and she offers Hunter sanctuary at The Owl House right after he finds out Belos has been lying to him his whole life... Luz saves Hunter's life and changes it forever.

Fyi, a bunch of Redditors are working to archive RT and AH content. Find more info and a link to the discord here, and here’s the site where they’re uploading everything.

Another Redditor has a torrent for every AH video across all YouTube channels, linked here, though no one can confirm how good the video quality is.

Personally, I’m also gonna be nabbing a good chunk of content to store locally. All the Minecraft Let’s Plays, Hardcore Minigolf, TTT if I can get adequate storage, various videos here and there that made me laugh over the years.

If any of you have First accounts, I would suggest downloading any First-exclusive content you want to retain access to. It’s unclear if First content will be nuked once the company shuts down, and the archivers are currently not uploading it anywhere due to it technically being piracy.

synopsis: seventeen is away filming ttt when you have a very sweet phone call with your boyfriend, wonwoo. (and hoshi)

Wonwoo was pleasantly tipsy. Just buzzed enough to feel warm and fuzzy inside, but not drunk. Not drunk like some of his members were (Hoshi). Seventeen were filming the latest installment of their TTT series. They had spent the evening playing drinking games. The cameras had since been turned off and the members were enjoying their well-deserved time off. Some of the members were much drunker than the others. Wonwoo had opted to sip on a beer and just watch the chaos unfold. 

He was listening to BooSeokSoon belting out yet another Twice song on the karaoke machine when he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. He pulled it out of his pocket and smiled when he saw who was calling.

“Hey, baby,” He said, low voice growling in your ear.

“Hey, you,” you say, unable to fight back the smile that your boyfriend always managed to put on your face. “I just wanted to call before I head to bed. Just to say good night. And I miss you.”

“I miss you, too,” Wonwoo says, chuckling. It has only been a few hours since he left. “I’ll be back tomorrow morning.”

“I know but I still miss you. Anyways, I’ll let you go. Go have fun.”

“I will. And-“

“WONWOO-YAH!” Hoshi had found Wonwoo’s quiet hideout. “Come sing with us!’

“Wow, I can tell how drunk he is through the phone,” you said, laughing.

“Y/N!” Hoshi finally noticed that Wonwoo was on the phone. And correctly assumed he was talking to you. There was a sound from the other end that sounded suspiciously like Hoshi stealing the phone out of Wonwoo’s hand. “Y/N! I’m having so much fun!”

“Yeah? I can tell,” you were laughing at Hoshi’s antics, like always. He is always so good at putting a smile on anyone’s face.

“You should’ve come. I think you would’ve had fun,” Hoshi said, suddenly somber. Drunk Hoshi and his mood swings.

“That’s sweet, but I wouldn’t want to intrude.”

“You wouldn’t. HEY MEMBERS!”

Oh god, you mumbled under your breath.

“All in favor of y/n coming on our next trip say ‘horanghae’!”

A chorus of 12 ‘horanghae’s came through your phone’s speakers. 

“That is the first and last time I’ll say that,” Woozi said.

“Then it’s settled. You are coming next time.”

You sighed, knowing you wouldn’t get anywhere while Hoshi was drunk out of his mind. But, you still smiled because the gesture was so sweet.

“You know what, invite me when you’re sober and I’ll think about it.”

“Deal!”

There was more shuffling from the other end of the phone.

“Monsta X! Monsta X!” Hoshi was now chanting from a distance.

The phone was finally back in Wonwoo’s hands.

“Sorry about that.” “It’s more than okay. I like being reminded that they actually like me.”

“Of course they do. You’re impossible not to like. Plus I like you and I have excellent taste,” Wonwoo said. That’s how you could tell he was drunker than usual. His flirt level got turned up way higher. You were glad he couldn’t see your blush through the phone.

“Okay, okay. I should go now. You go have fun. You deserve it.”

“Okay.”

“Okay.”

“Hey, just for the record, I also would like for you to come along next time.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“I’ll think about it. Good night, Wonwoo.”

“Good night, love.”

you had a mantra: life was always meant to be lived to the fullest, even if you had to do things that had to force you out of your comfort zone. 

the rush of your heart beating, the adrenaline pumping through your veins, screaming out the top of your lungs in pure excitement. you wanted to live a little on the edge. 

momo however, wanted to keep her feet on the ground, she was still able to indulge in some of your fun activities, but she couldn’t help but worry that something might go wrong and end up with you getting hurt. it was kind of cute to see her in distress, covering her face with both of her hands because she couldn’t bear to watch you do some of the things that you do in your free time. 

she watched you rock climbing one time after her dance class, she couldn’t believe how fast and high you were going.

you showed her a video recording of you skydiving, she was left in awe that you were able to do a feat like that by yourself and without any help with the whole parachute situation. 

but for her to watch you bungee jump? off of a bridge and down into a rapid flowing river? momo said to you that she doesn’t know if she can handle it firsthand. 

“you sure you don’t want to come up with me?” 

“it’s okay y/n, i think i’ll be fine down here.” 

you walk over to momo, cupping her head with your hands as you play with her hair for a bit, matching her pouting face as she had a slight worry of your bungee jumping session that you planned during your special vacation while in hawaii. 

“you can try recording me, i’ll say something to you before i jump down.” 

momo nods at your request as you begin to walk away up to the ascending stairs up the bridge, holding her hand until you eventually let go, waving to her as you walk up the stair set with the workers as she looks all the way up on the towering bridge. 

the area was actually pretty nice. the sun wasn’t beaming down the annoying heat and there was a light breeze coming through the big archways. it was also cool since there was a wave of mist splashing down below as you finally reached the top of the structure, getting the last bit of instructions from the workers before getting properly strapped up. 

you then have the rope clicked on your harness as you start to stand on the outward platform, stopping at the edge as momo looks up at how high you actually were. momo gasped as she saw your small figure at the edge, waving as you looked cute in your bright peach helmet that they provided for you. 

momo was happy to see you enjoy yourself, but she felt her hand slightly shake as you flail your arms out like those stupid tube balloon thingies that they have in front of a car dealership. 

“momo!” you yell out, “can you see me?!” 

momo laughs as she waves her hand at you again, phone in her other hand with the camera already recording, sitting back down on the set of flat rocks to stabilize herself, zooming in on your small figure as you put both of your hands to your mouth, ready to yell something out.

“to my lovely girlfriend momo! thank you for putting up with my stupid daredevil shenanigans!” 

a short second later, you get the thumbs up from the worker as you leapt forward with no hesitation. momo gasps as she sees your body go straight down, the rope not undoing itself as she puts a hand to her mouth, covering her small scream as the rope finally tenses. 

it looked like you fell for maybe 50 feet, but momo sees that you went down further than that. it was actually almost 150 feet as she sees you bounce back up from the flexible rope, body snapping from the sudden motion as momo exclaims at the sight of your head whipping back. again, that worry coming out of her as your body faces upright, swinging back and forth as momo laughs at you yelling like a complete buffoon. 

momo places a hand on her chest, relieved at you being okay. she then continued to record on her phone  as you stopped swinging after a minute or so, catching the camera as you wave, finally happy that you got to bungee jump since it was on your bucket list.

“good job y/n! we’re gonna pull you back up now okay!” you look up to hear one of the workers tell you with a loud speaker, flashing a thumbs up as they began to pull the rope, you slightly going higher and higher as momo takes a picture of you just dangling, like a baby in their little walkers. 

ten minutes later, momo looks back on the video of you jumping as you finally made your way down. momo immediately got up to hug you as you reached her, taken aback as you comforted her after your daring activity. 

“y/n!” momo yells out, leaving you breathless as she clutched onto your body like a koala on a tree. 

“hey! i wasn’t gone for that long but it’s cute that you missed me for that long.” you softly say, brushing your lips against momo’s cheek as she clutches you for a few more seconds. 

“i got worried, the stuff that you do is dangerous, baby, my heart can’t take it sometimes.” 

“you got the recording right?” you ask her as you run a finger on her stricken face, flashing a light smile while nodding. 

“it was so cool, but also scary y/n.” momo replies, “i don’t know how you do these things, they freak me out.” 

you give momo a kiss on her forehead as she hums at your affectionate side, “i’m just a girl with adventure!” you beam as momo slaps your arm at your response. 

“whatever you have next on your bucket list, it’s definitely gonna kill me next time i swear.”

bestfriend!yujin who never lets you pick anything when you’re together. you’re watching a movie? he already picked one, too bad. you’re going for some snacks? he already has the cart filled with his picks, maybe be a little quicker next time. always picks stuff he knows you will like as well though so <3 he can be a little sweet when he wants. pretends he doesn’t like the stuff you pick but sneakily takes a picture of the snack you got that turned out the be extremely good so he can buy it for himself later.

bestfriend!yujin who has a designated “tiktok-time” with you where you show each other tiktoks you’ve saved over the week. sometimes it’s stuff you want to try, videos that made you laugh, videos you think will make the other person laugh — you could just send them to each other, but the reactions are just a thousand times better in person so you’ve come to really cherish ttt™. but yujin also gets super huffy if you don’t end up crying on the floor from laughter, his humour and choice of tiktoks are elite why are you not laughing rn?

bestfriend!yujin who always has your back even if you’re in the wrong. actually doubles down when you’re wrong and adds even more of his own outrageous takes and stands by them. you two have never lost a debate simply for the fact that people can’t stand you two together because it’s like arguing with two walls. at least you’re insufferable together!! <3

Here's some more from chronic pain!Buck fic - I thought I'd finish it today but I have a test tomorrow and like 5 assignments to do so I'm gonna be a good girl and actually study. In the meantime, here's a snippet:

“I’ve got you,” Eddie murmurs softly. Buck feels so soft, so protected.

His emotions towards the man are fighting to be set free with every act of kindness he displays. Buck is in awe of him. In awe of just how incredibly perfect he is. How he always knows exactly what it is Buck needs, how he has this sixth sense to know when Buck’s struggling and is always there to help him. How he stays even when Buck is being too much. 

Also, Buck loves how fucking strong this man is that he can lift Buck up and deposit him in the bathtub in one swift motion because holy shit. Buck has to fight his body to stay calm. Now is most certainly not the time for any funny business. Buck yelps as Eddie lowers him into the water, expecting to be met with something too hot or too cold but no, of course Eddie has some magical power of making sure the water is just right. 

He must’ve made some noise to voice his thoughts because then Eddie is saying, “Chris always complains when the temperature’s not perfect, so I hope it’s to your liking.”

Buck sinks into the warm water, letting the water soothe his aches. He plays with the foamy bubbles that have gathered on the surface, feeling like a kid getting a bubble bath. He smiles dopily at Eddie as the pain slowly subsides to a more bearable level. “Thank you,” Buck murmurs, closing his eyes and leaning back in the tub.

I have two minds to answer this, because part of me is going 'WE GOT EM!!! WE GOT EM!!' While the other part of me is like 'oh god how do I tell them. Who’s going to tell them.' The easiest way I can explain: Tom, Ben, and Harry are not in a minecraft series together, and the lore that I have for them is not based in any actual series. HOWEVER. DON’T LET THE TRAGIC TRUTH MAKE YOU CLICK AWAY /silly so I can explain properly LMAO

Here’s a TLDR for anyone who likes these guys and is a lil interested in them!!

Most of the lore for these three is based on an amalgamation of inside jokes, non-minecraft character trends, and general yogs minecraft world lore!

Tom was an editor (now has a YouTube channel, AngoryTom) and did behind-the-scenes minecraft prep for the Yogscast for so long that he was never really interested in any actual "main channel" series besides [Dig Site - 10 episodes] with Simon, Lewis, and Ben, and [Skyblock - 2 episodes] with Ben! Although he’s also played several npcs throughout various main channel series since he was helping run the show lol. My take on his character is that he’s a former yoglabs employee due to [YOGLABS CLASSIFIED INFORMATION] and now lives his laziest life ever in an undisclosed remote location. He’s also the demigod of death but he’ll never tell

Ben started doing main series mc content a few years ago, but hasn’t done anything mc with Tom and Harry until recently (see below)! His character is a Shark Hybrid due to [YOGLABS CLASSIFIED INFORMATION] who now lives with Tom at the same undisclosed remote location.

Harry has been an insane speedrunning minecraft legend for ages, but was never in any main series content bc he’s actually a graphic designer for the yogs. But he was part of Iskall’s twitch vault hunter event back in November, and he’s now in the [Vault Hunter Series - Ongoing] with Ben and Duncan on YouTube! <3 so there’s plenty of mc content of Harry and Ben, but not so much Tom. c!Harry has lived remote for as long as he can remember, locked in Hardcore, until…?

But again, I base their backstories on a bunch of kinda loosely connected lore dots that are half based on jokes <3

BEN AND TOM

I’ve been in love with Ben and Tom as a duo forever, since the TTT (modded Trouble in Terrorist Town) days, where Ben’s player model was Left Shark, and Tom’s model was Emperor Palpatine (yes from Star Wars. I can’t stand them). But Ben and Tom have been yogs editors and Behind The Scenes guys forever, so it wasn’t until more recently that they became known personalities in the main yogscast circle (4-5 years is pretty recent in the 10+ years of yogs content timeline LMAO).

Through Warhammer streams and behind the scenes stuff, I kinda fell in love with their chemistry and idiocy, and they worked so well with the “main cast” that I just had to put them in the yogs minecraft universe, somewhere. Turns out, Tom had actually done a majority of the "behind the scenes" work for the Yoglabs series (he built a majority of the main building, did mod research and testing, was present during recordings to make sure things went well, stuff like that) so it only made sense to have his character be the Right Hand Man/ Behind The Scenes Assistant to Xephos (Lewis), the Morally Questionable Head of Yoglabs.

For anyone who’s unfamiliar with Yoglabs, it’s one of the yogs’ more famous series featuring Simon (Honeydew) and Lewis (Xephos) where they tested mods! more info can be found here!

c!Tom also ended up as a Lumian (the fanon alien space species for the yogs fandom, vaguely inspired by Star Trek Vulcans) because of a one-off joke where one of the Yogs artists drew him as a star trek commander, and I really didn’t need any further reason to make him a weird little guy LDKFJG

As far as the “demigod of death” thing goes, it felt right to give him a lore thing that vaguely coordinated with the whole “Emporer Palpatine” vibe, since that’s kinda the mc skin he’s used most recently. There’s another reason there that I don’t think I’ve properly explained, so I’ll leave the rest of that be for now ;]

Ben, on the other hand, plays a shark character in pretty much every video game he ever participates in, so shark hybrid was a pretty obvious way to go. And of course, since the duo had to be in the same place… involving Ben’s shark Hybrid-ness with yoglabs experimentation made good sense and good angst. What can I say :]

HARRY

Harry is kinda known as the yogscast’s token memelord? But in the ironic way. He somehow makes it genuinely hilarious idk man. His humor is very dry, witty, and sarcastic, but he’s a sweetheart and kind of a god at minecraft. I’ve been arguing since day one that this man should be in mcc but we won’t go there

Regarding his minecraft lore, pretty much all of it is based around the idea that he’s a god at speedrunning and hardcore Minecraft. A common consensus in yogscast minecraft lore is that respawning is actually a Yoglabs-based mechanic tied to clones and clone making. I thought it would be interesting if Harry could be tied to a hardcore element in the yogs lore purely by having Somehow slid under yoglabs’ radar. And since he was never in any main channel (aka modded) series, i usually associate him with Vanilla mechanics, and since i also view mods as a Yoglabs-related lore element, it made sense! So basically— no clones, no respawns, no mods!

And his design, well… this man’s skin is straight up Mr Mime, and there’s only so much I can do with that /silly But he’s a HUGE Pokémon fan! He’s played a couple of Disaster Nuzlockes with Lydia from the yogs a year or so ago, if that’s something you’re interested in!
