I wonder which other languages we're getting! I think more Asian countries like Japan(because of the flag) and south korea(flowers from day one and cipher from day 2). The cipher from day three translates to sleep or bunny. I can't figure out what they mean on their own so here are some facts

i definitely see James as adhd-coded and i think many people write him as such unconsciously without even realising it. so many of his popular fanon and canon traits just align if you pause to look. loud, restless, working on new side projects all the time instead of focusing on what he should be doing. like even the playing with the Snitch habit he has, which is taken from canon? is 100% adhd behavior.

which is why it bothers me so much in jily and jegulus when lily/regulus are constantly annoyed at him, rolling their eyes, telling him to shut up. it makes me so sad. i want them to sit there and let him talk for hours and when hes like "sorry im rambling" they tell him, "no its okay i like listening to you talk". reminding him to do things he forgets, sirius and remus constantly fixing and cleaning his glasses because otherwise he doesnt even notice. please.

also the actual fight with inej. like what the fuck. she says he doesn’t feel pain WHO IS HE?? what about the fucking. things on his wrists idk words. i mean he’s clearly a small stand-in for dunyasha and they both have that deranged fanatic vibe but it’s still very different. he taunts her with the menagerie, he calls her “little lynx,” he’s the taxidermist and she is just an animal, it’s very different to dunyasha.

and i just. shit. when he gets her on the ground? when she’s clawing away and he drags her back over the stone, pins her down and wraps her hair up around his fist? it’s in her face and her voice exactly how terrifyingly familiar that is for her, on top of the fact that if he catches her she’s going back to the menagerie.

I've got lots of theories concerning this particular thoughtand there's lots of people who would rather wait for the Donghua and the Manhua so I don't want to spoil. But can anyone figure out why the big bad in TGCF doesn't die? I mean technically, anyone can write the ending into a story of death. Give it a few centuries and the big bad will fade away into a memory like those gods that Hua Cheng defeated. It's not like they're shying away from death, Hua Cheng has killed many for Xie Lian's sake so it's not like I don't understand why Xie Lian didn't do it. It's not what he does and Hua Cheng would never make him do something like that. So Hua Cheng could have done it. Was the Big Bad just that powerful? (My theory cause he was wiping the floor with them. 💀 Thank God for the power of love), or was the Big Bad just so pitiful, or was this a sort of irony cause we know the Big Bad has been working towards his ultimate death at Xie Lian's hands, which is basically what he's wanted for all of his life since he met Xie Lian. So....was the lack of death done on purpose so that he doesn't get what he wants? I don't know. I would like to discuss.

because sometimes there are invisible tests and invisible rules and you're just supposed to ... know the rule. someone you thought of as a friend asks you for book recommendations, so you give her a list of like 30 books, each with a brief blurb and why you like it. later, you find out she screenshotted the list and send it out to a group chat with the note: what an absolute freak can you believe this. you saw the responses: emojis where people are rolling over laughing. too much and obsessive and actually kind of creepy in the comments. you thought you'd been doing the right thing. she'd asked, right? an invisible rule: this is what happens when you get too excited.

you aren't supposed to laugh at your own jokes, so you don't, but then you're too serious. you're not supposed to be too loud, but then people say you're too quiet. you aren't supposed to get passionate about things, but then you're shy, boring. you aren't supposed to talk too much, but then people are mad when you're not good at replying.

you fold yourself into a prettier paper crane. since you never know what is "selfish" and what is "charity," you give yourself over, fully. you'd rather be empty and over-generous - you'd rather eat your own boundaries than have even one person believe that you're mean. since you don't know what the thing is that will make them hate you, you simply scrub yourself clean of any form of roughness. if you are perfect and smiling and funny, they can love you. if you are always there for them and never admit what's happening and never mention your past and never make them uncomfortable - you can make up for it. you can earn it.

if you can just divide yourself in two - the lovable one, and the one that is you - you can do this. you can walk the line. they can laugh and accept you. if you are always-balanced, never burdensome, a delight to have in class, champagne and glittering and never gawky or florescent or god-forbid cringe: you can get away with it.

you stare at your therapist, whom you can make jokes with, and who laughs at your jokes, because you are so fucking good at people-pleasing. you smile at her, and she asks you how you're doing, and you automatically say i'm good, thanks, how are you? while the answer swims somewhere in your little lizard brain:
