💜he started closing off himself to be a shut in otaku because he felt he had no purpose anymore no point in trying

🦈lucifer is who got him into anime. And manga. Luci tried to distract levi with things after the war because he saw how depressed he was , thinking heaven threw him away

🐙his friends and family around him care a lot about him and worry for him but levi does not see it, thinks he's the worst and most hated when he's not

🐬anything sea or water related soothes him which is why a tank was installed in his room and why he sleeps in a bathtub

🐟his whole room was designed to keep him calm, which is why it's so lo fi like , soothing, and full of Levi's favorite stuff to calm him down, and music

🐡luci also got him into video games thinking he would love fighting on the video game since he was a general fighting wars and he was right

🦭Levi's a bit too obsessed now. Which can be concerning sometimes. He gets too into it. It's like his form of staying happy and he can get addicted to it

🐳scales can appear on his skin just a small amount if put in water, his demon abilities are harder to control while in water, he's also more powerful in water

🦐he loves sea creatures so much ocean anything he loves

🦑he's definitely autistic

🦞he has natural shark teeth, very sharp, pointy, of coarse all demons do but his are more shark like

🐚he can breathe under water

🐋henry the fish was gifted to him by one of his brothers but we know how he got Henry the snake

🌊he can turn into sea creatures I hc all the brothers can turn into creatures that represent them

💧he went from navy General to nerd lol

🎮he misses heaven sometimes. Misses being important having a job to do

📓his brothers let him buy his akuzon stuff sometimes even knowing because they know he's just coping (lucifer can not handle it anymore and hates when levi keeps buying stuff)

Otaku guardian of the gate - Chapter 1

You've been looking forward to this trip all your life and you finally got it. Even when you were little, everyone saw you following in your parents' footsteps. You could even say that they infected you with the desire to find the mysterious gate from Atlantis.

When you were older, you all looked for her together. That is, until that fateful accident when they left you here alone. You couldn't get over it for a long time. Maybe until the time when you decided to find the given treasure in their honour.

With this plan, you stood aboard a small yacht equipped with sonar and various computers in the middle of the open ocean and three small uncharted islands. Apparently, the gate should be under one of the islands.

Equipped with special diving gear, you stood on the edge of the ship and watched the water below you. There was a strange calm. Sometimes a fish or a lone shark swam by, but that was it. It was strange because by all accounts it should have been a complete fish paradise.

You checked the necessary things one last time before you jumped. The water was warmer than you expected. You sank and headed for the bottom. You could already see that there were many sunken ships of different nationalities and from different times.

Long Viking ships decorated with shields, which were partially buried by sand, Japanese frigates, Spanish galleons, giant ships with torn black flags flying in the currents, metal warships and many others.

You swam around the rocks, trying to find anything that might indicate a gate. You found something like an alley of statues in various poses. Based on the style, you assumed they came from ancient Greece. Some were missing their heads, others their limbs, and some were whole. Museums would fight over it.

Subsequently, you found several stones in which various symbols were engraved, the likes of which you had never seen in your life. You then came to a rock that had smooth straight walls and a rectangular entrance leading inside. As if there was once a former door. You tried your luck there. Apart from a few old containers, you didn't find much there. That is, except for the giant black scale, which glistened orange and purple in the light.

After a long day with no organized results, when you may not have found your gate, but instead a lot of other things that could have been a great discovery in themselves. After writing the report, check the photos and all of today's knowledge, which you also checked with your notes. You were definitely close.

Now, after a day of work, it was finally time for a little rest. You were originally thinking about a movie or your favourite TV series where you wouldn't have to think too much and would rather relax. It all sounded tempting, but you had already seen it, and on the other hand, you remembered an anime that you downloaded in case of emergency and that you promised your friend that you would watch.

This anime called The Magical Ruri Hana: Demon Girl was her favorite and she kept convincing you to watch it too. After constant coercion, you nodded your agreement, earning yourself a hug from a lot of octopus, possibly breaking a rib or two.

You made yourself comfortable and played the episode on your laptop. You watched outside on the deck because the weather was nice and you didn't want to shut yourself inside unnecessarily.

After about the first 10 minutes the boat rocked slightly on the waves and you felt as if something was watching you. You settled yourself a little better and turned briefly to look back.

The original thought that it was nothing, just some fantasy, very quickly turned into Damn, Damn, what is this? You completely froze when you saw your reflection in a giant orange eye that resembled the eye of a snake.

At first, the eye looked like it was watching anime with you, but then it focused on you, winked, and disappeared in a flash with a giant splash under the water. It wasn't until the creature disappeared that you realized you'd been holding your breath the whole time.

The brain could not recover from the shock. A giant eye meant a giant creature and this was a giant snake. The rational part of you tried to explain that it was just a vision, a mere imagination. The other part of you was screaming at you that it was Leviathan, the mythical guardian of Atlantis and that you were damn close.

To take your mind off something else, you played the first episode again from the time you saw the snake. So you watched the first two episodes without any incident and you became calm that it was all just your desire for discovery. When you played the third episode, halfway through, the ship rocked again, and you once again had the strange feeling that you were being watched.

You turned around and there it was again. A giant eye with an iris coloured orange with dark purple edges belonging to a giant black snake. The eye focused on you again and looked like it was about to sink again when you called out to it.

"Wait!" you exclaimed, running ahead to the railing. The snake was already almost completely submerged and only a piece of its head with eyes and horns that resembled branched dark blue corals was visible.

"You can watch with me!" you exclaimed without even thinking about it. Just so the snake wouldn't sink again and you could get a better look at it.

The snake seemed to hesitate for a moment before re-emerging and tilting its head to get a better view of the computer. He even rested his head lightly against the ship, which had tilted a little. As she leaned over, the snake took off its head again, as if it was afraid that it would sink you otherwise.

When you were both "settled" you started watching. You watched the entire first series and it was truly an incredible experience. Because you would never have thought that a giant snake would enjoy this kind of anime so much.

You could tell for yourself that it wasn't your cup of coffee and you enjoyed the changing scenery of the expressions on the snake's face more than the anime. Shock, joy, nervousness...

He always got excited when the main character appeared there and either hissed or snorted when someone wronged her. It was truly an incredible spectacle. In the moonlight, his body played with orange and purple highlights.

You turned it off after midnight as your eyes were slowly drooping and you were slowly falling asleep to it. Before you turned it off, the snake disappeared under the water and your boat swayed so much that you had to grab onto something to keep from falling. Such an experience. No one would ever believe you.

He has a few forms He likes to use. He mostly appears like this

Although he occasionally appears as Molag Bal or Mehrunes Dagon from the Elder Scrolls series

In my experience Infernals appear in ways that would make them recognizeable and they approve of the appearance. Lord Satan rarely appears in a form similar to Mehrunes Dagon and has only done so once. He seems to more strongly prefer the first one

Not a word had been spoken since their meeting. The fall of a mothercrystal had awakened Leviathan from their slumber, rising to the surface, transforming upon finding land, disoriented as Yin took his first trembling steps, drenched from head to toe and dripping seawater upon the sand as he moved further onto shore. With each step, his gait steadied a bit more until the familiarity settled in, graceful control of his movements returned.

And he walked...he walked toward that <beacon>, that <light> that guided him in distant past; the journey was far, but the Dominant did not stop. The Crystalline Dominion was his destination and he did not stop. But eventually, he encountered people. This world was so different and yet not. They stared at him, this tall and slender young man dressed in unfamiliar, flowing robes of gradient ocean blues and white. The stranger looked so different from anyone in the Empire.

He drew the attention of Imperial soldiers--but when he did not respond to their questions or subsequent orders to stop, their interactions escalated and it was discovered, very quickly, that not only was this strange foreigner a Bearer, but that he was skilled in water magic. Frighteningly so. And yet, as terrifyingly masterful he was at fighting with a type none had faced in their lifetimes, his skill was so unsurpassed that while opponents were incapacitated, none were killed. Yet he walked ever forward, following that beacon.

Walked into an Imperial Camp. Spears. Dragoons. Still, he did not stop...did not stop until he reached the presence of one dragoon in particular, Leviathan's heart both stirring and finding peace in recognition of the beacon she had followed to this very place. Mere steps away from the crowned prince, Yin's steps finally stopped. They had finally found him. Found Bahamut. And Yin was so very tired. So very, very tired of fighting. Even if the dragoons suddenly surrounded and apprehended him at that moment, he would not mind. He just...stopped, locking eyes with the prince as relief befell his dark ocean gaze...

"You're safe here. You can rest now."

Hearing those words, his eyes then slowly closed as he gradually sank to his knees...and then collapsed to the ground with a quiet thud.

LEVIATHAN

-surprisingly his tail has a lot more scales then the rest of his body but he sheds every few months to make sure his scales are healthy and I also think he might be able to grow it back..?

-but his tail is very long and smooth scales so when you touch it your hand glides over his tail with ease

-he doesn’t use his tail as a defense mechanism as much as satan does because 1. He doses leave his room and 2.he’s really not a fighter,but if he did use his tail for defense he’ll hind of lift up his tail and wave it around slightly as warning but if someone doesn’t listen he will smack the living hell out of the with his tail

-his most sensitive sensitive area is the base of his tail even though his whole tail is sensitive but if you Touch by the base of his tail he shakes a little bit but he does like it! But during cuddling he wraps his tail around your waist or leg and the Same goes for in bed but he’ll be slightly more tight and he definitely uses it to help you out when you need it ;)

SATAN

-for Satan showing his tail to you when he is not angry is a sign of love deeper then anyone could imagine

-but his tail has very rough scales so it does make it harder to Touch because it’s also kinda spiky as well

-when he gets angry his tail becomes a weapon and it hurts when it Hits you smack dab in the fase…yeah that will leave…a few marks,when he tries to warn someone on the rare occasion if he doesn’t already try to kill them the first time they did something his tail wraps around his leg tightly almost enough to go through his skin and most of time he tries to use it to kill lucifer

-his Most sensitive are is the tip of his tail and when you touch it he’ll pull away pretty quickly but once he realizes you mean no harm to him he’ll let you touch it as much of you want!

-he does like to have it wrapped around you a lot and especially when you two read together but only in private because he wouldn’t have it out in public ever only if he was about to make someone have a 504 error and never be seen again

BELPHIE

-belphie has a cow like tail but it's not soft though it's more rough then it looks but it doesn’t stop him from sleeping with it

-he mostly uses it to keep you as his cuddle buddy for longer then you wanted but that’s actually how he first showed it you, he had his tail wrapped around your waist

-but after he realized he was doing that it was too late and he did that every time you cuddled or slept with him:)

-defense wise he doesn’t use it all but if he did he would also try to use to kill Lucifer and put him six feet under or someone took his pillow and he wants revenge which also might end in a 504 error…just don’t cross him…

-his most sensitive place is the tip of his tail before it goes into a big fluff ball,if you do touch there he’ll just wrap his tail around your hand tightly and that all that really happens but if it where someone else beware he might strangle them to death

-in bed I think he would just use it to hold you down and he would definitely use the fluff part of his tail to mess with your nipples a little bit or your clit

BARBATOS

-barbatos tail has a slight slimy feeling to it and has more of a sea serpent shape to his tail like levi

-but he uses his tail like another arm he can use it for anything and since he has and extra part to his tail he could definitely hold you down and grab else at the same time

-the only time he’d ever use his tail is when someone tried to do something to the prince,I swear with his tail he could take like 4 demons out at the same time and he also has good tail reflex’s so he can tell when something’s near him and if something’s thrown at him he can smack it away or grab it with his tail but he could also probably use his tail like a spear also

-honestly I don’t think he has any sensitive spots but if I had to chose a specific place it would be the extra part on his tail and if someone or you were to touch it he will just ask you to stop but if it’s you he won’t say anything and just let’s you touch it

-in bed he could possibly use the second part on his tail to stimulate you while he’s fucking you into the mattress but if your into gagging he would probably use his tail as a gag for you if you wanted:)

Hazbin Hotel Cast with Sin of Envy!Reader (Pt.1)

Info: The reader has a similar appearance to Glitz and Glam from Helluva Boss! They are also based on a sea serpent. This can be read as platonic or romantic. Reader is named Leviathan, but will use Name. Similarly to how Asmodeus uses Ozzie/Ozzy. The reader is also assumed to have shape shifting abilities.

Charlie Morningstar

She is enthralled by the fact you’re from another ring!

She also LOVES your appearance. She thinks you look SO cool.

She asks you many questions about what it’s like in your ring with the smile of a child with a lollipop.

Charlie calls you by the name you prefer or Levi depending on what you prefer.

You are split between believing her cause, but you show her your support. Because of this, many don’t try to mess with her.

Whenever you’re not busy, you take your time to swing by the pride ring. When you’re there, you act as the guardian of the people inside.

You also participated in the fight with the Hazbin Hotel people and Cannibals vs the Exorcists.

When Charlie saw your raw power, she was amazed. She knew you were strong, but you almost killed Adam on your own before her dad interfered!

When the hotel got destroyed, you helped her remake it.

Now, you still act as the guard and protect the crew. Charlie appreciates you SO much.

You even made her a staff for her! Your sigil, as shown above, is present on the back. Now, she can summon you any time she needs you.

When she found out you could shape shift, she asked you to shift into so many things. She was just so curious!

All in all, she loves you to DEATH. You’re just so interesting and… she doesn’t even know the word!

Vaggie

She was VERY suspicious of you at first.

You are a sin, after all. Specifically the sun of Envy. You are the embodiment of ENVY. In her eyes, you weren’t to be trusted.

That was until she saw you defend the hotel from some demon claiming to be an overlord.

Your power alone made Vaggie respect the hell out of you.

She was very open about her distrust in you, however.

Because of this, she didn’t want to admit that she was warming up to you.

You cared about her friends and her girlfriend. That was enough to make her sort of like you.

She was secretly interested in your facial makeup. She asked you about it one time and you happily told her everything about it.

You also revealed your true form to the crew during the battle.

She found the way your serpentine body moved was just… so interesting.

You were strong. She knew that.

Maybe that’s why she was so drawn to you. She wanted to know more.

Angel Dust

He flirted with you WAY too much.

He always talked about how you were a big strong sun and asked how you were in bed.

He was drawn to your power and personality. He just loved the way you defended him no matter what.

He thought for a moment. Did you own any souls? Could you maybe help him with his deal with Val? No. He couldn’t ask you that.

During nights whenever you visit, he hangs out with you by the bar and drinks.

You learned a lot about him and his deal. It made you mad.

You wanted to help him.

You may be the sin of envy, but that doesn’t mean you’re emotionless.

Whenever you two got closer, Angel would vent to you about things.

Because of this bonding, you two were close.

During the battle, you stayed close to him and protected him.

Speaking of protection, you were protective as FUCK when it came to him.

He was happy someone was finally like that to him.

Husk

He didn’t really care all too much about you.

However, he was very interested in how you enjoyed gambling.

He asked you what kind of games you enjoyed and which ones you were good at.

You two probably gamble with each other in your free time.

Since you don’t bother him, he likes you.

Husk and you sometimes talk about the residents and such.

You had a high alcohol tolerance, so he had a new drinking buddy.

But you do still get drunk. He’s learned a bit about you. Your hate for Mammon, your adoration for Asmodeus, your friendship with Beelzebub, your crush on Belphegor, and so much more.

During the war, you remained by his side and protected him to the very end.

Niffty

She thought you looked very cluttered.

She tried cleaning you up at first. Like, she thought your messy clothing choice was an accident. She tried to show up your clothes lol.

When she saw the sigil on your back, she was very interested in you.

She called you a “big bad boy” even if you weren’t a guy.

She loves climbing you and gossiping.

Even if you’re a sin, she still scares the shit out of you.

You sometimes talk to her about your ring and how you wish she could come with you.

Anyways, she sits on your shoulders a lot.

Especially during the war.

She would jump off of you to stab some angels then would run back to you.

You adored her. She was like a chaotic child.

Sir. Pentious

He knew something was happening whenever his best gadgets would disappear.

He would freak out and look for it frantically, only to find a notecard where it once was.

It had a sigil on it. It also had the name Leviathan on it.

He asked Alastor about it and he laughed his ass off.

“The sin of Envy must really be envious of your invention..” was the response he got. He didn’t understand.

That was, until, he saw you taking one of his inventions.

He tried to stop you but your power was too great.

Instead, Charlie stopped you.

She managed to deescalate your fury, so you put his invention down and stayed for a while.

You explained to him that you loved inventing and he was way too good at it.

His eyes flared with light as he you fueled his ego.

He was more than happy to explain to you how each invention worked.

From those days on, you two became closer and you worked on stuff together.

To protect his projects, you would put your sigil on it.

Now, the war came.

When he sacrificed himself, you were saddened. You kept his inventions alive and took care of the remaining Egg Boiz.

You missed your inventing buddy.

Alastor

He was very drawn to your power.

He thought the way you could shape shift could be of use to him.

But he knew he couldn’t make a deal with a sin. He’d lose everything.

He was, however, interested in learning about the raw power of the sinners and hellborn from your ring.

You learned of his deals and you would always tell him of deals that he could make.

He also helped you with anyone you were jealous of. He’d either make deals with them or kill them.

You thought he was cool.

You two often talked about radio and how you both enjoyed music.

He won’t admit it, but he was drawn to you because of your taste in music.

He liked your company too. You were a nice break from the morons around him.

During the war, you saved him from being killed and he was VERY delighted.

Maybe you could guide him, just as he wishes to guide Charlie.

When his coat got torn, you fixed it for him and he was very content with that.

You two don’t talk much, but there’s always a silent understanding between the two of you.

What if pacts gave you spells

I’ve had another idea!!

Demons in this setting are pretty fuckin magic. MC as well, has some funny magic going on in the late game iirc. What if the magic started showing up sooner, specifically because of the pacts?? What if the avatars have specific themed abilities and you get powered down versions of those powers through the pact? Ive been having Ideas about it!!

In pact order:

Mammon is the avatar of greed. Money and stuff is his thing. So I think his pact, at a low level, should give you a heat metal spell. I imagine HE has a summon-molten-metal ability that he can use in combat, because that’d be awesome. It’d be a real no holds barred type of move, because like,, being burned to death in molten metal is a REAL brutal way to go. He’s a demon tho. I think it would make some sense for him to be able to do it.

Gravity magic also makes sense for Mammon. Black holes be greedy. The vibe seems right. The dunamancy spell Ravenous Void is pretty much what I’m thinking.

Mammon’s really fast too. So maybe he can give you haste, longstrider, misty step… maybe blink.

Another thing in Mammon’s wheelhouse is gambling. Luck, stacking chances in your favour and all that. So let’s have him give you something like silvery barbs too. Something that lets you skew chance in your favour when you need to.

I’d say the list of spells you get from him goes like: heat metal and longstrider at first. Then you get stronger after season 1, and you get misty step, something along the lines of silvery barbs, and haste (to make others faster I think is a higher level thing than making yourself faster). When you’re MUCH stronger, you get ravenous void. Maybe you get a weaker version earlier.

No matter what tho, no one’s version of that black hole spell is stronger than Mammon’s.

Then you pact with Leviathan. He’s a sea serpent, and he’s the grand admiral of hell’s navy. I’d imagine he’s crazy good with navigation and has a sea monster form, on top of the other abilities he canonically has (summoning Lotan, making floods, etc)

I’d say Levi’s pact gives you: create water, find familiar (because Lotan), breathing underwater and some magical ability that helps you not get lost. At a higher level, you get to summon a powerful water elemental. Maybe even a wildshape-esque ability that is specifically for turning into a sea serpent.

I would also say it’s Levi’s pact that gives you darkvision. You really need it if you’re going in deep water. Also, if ANYONE of these seven can give you the classic warlock spell Eldritch blast, it’d be Levi. It’s not very high level, you can have it early on.

Beel’s gluttony, and honestly black holes fit him too. But I think that’s such an absurdly OP thing that it HAS to go to Mammon.

Beel is also a tank. He’s a protector. He’s real strong and resilient and he’s the type to purposely take damage in order to save someone he loves from having to. In the game he makes the pact with the implication that he wants you to have it so he can protect you next time. So I think he wouldn’t WANT to encourage his human to do the same tank thing as him, but still I think his pact would help you do that. It would just make you stronger and more durable I think.

That bit is less a spell and more an ability score increase. Raises your strength and constitution.

Of the actual spells tho, there’s gotta be something abjuration. Some magic shield spell kind of thing. Also, obviously some way to create food. Maybe when you’re stronger you get hero’s feast. Some way to summon a swarm of locusts is on theme for Beel. Also, his telepathic connection with Belphie makes me think of message.

I think Beel wants you to have feather fall. I think that might be one of his first priorities.

So his list would go: feather fall, some magic shield, message, and the constitution increase. Then at a higher level, the strength increase, summon locusts, and create/summon food. Even higher, hero’s feast or something like it…

The summoning food spells is not really a thing I think Beel can do/an ability he can share through the pact, but I think he deserves to be able to give you that. He would just like to be able to do that. Why not let him.

Next pact is Asmo. The most obvious thing for him is a charisma buff.

Then in terms of spells, suggestion makes a lot of sense. So does friends, disguise self, vicious mockery, and minor illusion. Later on, mass suggestion and crown of madness.

He’s not usually the very aggressive sort, though of course I don’t put violence past him at all. Bloodlust is still lust, after all. Passion is kinda his whole domain. No, Asmo is VERY capable of violence I’m sure, he just doesn’t indulge in it often because he likes his pristine image and others’ tendencies to underestimate him far more.

With that in mind, maybe some kind of slow acting necromantic curse makes sense for the offensive move he’d give you. Some way to magically give someone a dose of venom in their veins just by touching them.

Canonically in the game Asmo basically uses dominate beast (on Henry 1.0 in the catacombs under the demon king’s castle) but I can’t help but associate that more with Lucifer (because Cerberus) so I kind of want to give it to him instead… but Asmo literally DID it so…

I think Asmo’s list goes: suggestion, vicious mockery, friends, disguise self. Then the charisma increase, casting illusions (minor or otherwise), and crown of madness. Then mass suggestion, dominate beast, and the venom spell. That seems right.

Then it’s Satan’s turn.

Ok so the most obvious thing for him as the avatar of wrath is giving you a whole ass level in barbarian. The rage ability. And like,, that works, but like… doesn’t super match his personality. Controlling his wrath is more what he seems to care about.

If the spells he can give you are chosen by him, then I think you’d get comprehend languages, speak with animals, legend lore, that kind of thing.

But if it’s not his choice, then the ability to rage. In terms of spells, stuff like blight, finger of death, fireball, meteor swarm, disintegrate. Dramatically destructive kind of thing.

I’m gonna say it’s probably somewhere in between. You don’t get rage or disintegrate from him, nor all the best of the curious nerd spells. But you DO get: prestidigitation (can start fires OR quickly clean messes, up to you, be smart and crafty to get the most out of it), comprehend languages, firebolt. Later, you get fireball (upgrade for firebolt!) blight, and lets say something electric. Like, being able to electrocute someone by grabbing them.

Now for Belphie!

I can’t help but think of him less in D&D terms and more like,, psychic type Pokémon. That just seems like the right vibe for him.

I wanna say you’d get two necromancy spells after the whole lesson 16 thing—specifically, toll the dead and chill touch. The vibes of toll the dead just seem fitting for some reason, and come ON, chill touch couldn’t possibly be more perfect! It makes a spectral, skeletal hand that clings to your target (around their neck maybe?) to (and I quote!) “assail it with the chill of the grave” which deals necrotic damage and delays healing. It’s PERFECT, okay, except for… it doesn’t make any sense to get those from the pact with Belphie. They have nothing to do with HIM, and everything to do with what he did to you.

Maybe you can get it from the weird resurrection thing that happens instead. All kinds of weird shit can happen when timelines and your life get all fucky like that, I guess. You met a ghost and got shoved back to life and then time got weird, I’m sure at that point anything can happen.

Actually FROM Belphie, the obvious spell you’d get is sleep. Put some bastard to sleep, make them unconscious, that’s his main thing.

I think the list goes: sleep. Then later, with more power, you get confusion (like the Pokémon move)and phantasmal force (the one that projects an illusion only visible to the target, that is able to deal damage to them. Many very creative applications of this spell are possible). At the highest possible level, power word kill. The quickest and laziest possible way to do a murder, as long as you use it right.

Finally, Lucifer.

Big strong powerful Morningstar! Proud bastard that everyone can’t help but listen to.

So OBVIOUSLY you get dominate person from him! (yes, all seven of them have the ability to force a non-MC human to obey them magically but shhh. Lets say only Lucifer can GIVE that ability to a human.)

I think he’d be the one who can give you classic demonic abilities like fire resistance and hellish rebuke. I can’t imagine Lucifer not having some disintegrate-like ability, as the third most powerful demon in the realm.

He can’t give you a whole ass pair of wings, he can’t change the structure of your body, but I think maybe he can give you the fly spell. Or even just something like a double jump and a fully controlled fall. I think that suits him.

Yknow what else suits him? Meteor swarm. Super powerful, dramatically destructive, only the strongest can cast it… flaming destruction falling from the sky… Fall imagery weaponized into an absurdly high damage spell. Seems like Lucifer!

So let’s say his spell list for you is: hellish rebuke and fire resistance (not a spell, but still). Then, dominate person, the flight-adjacent spell, and disintegrate. Then finally, meteor swarm. That seems right.

His room is always quiet when he’s sleeping, with only the aquarium buzzing in the background. His blue lights are always illuminating the floating jellyfish, giving them a haunting look. His bathtub is always full of blankets, comfortable enough for him and his Ruri pillow. His things are always smelling like the ocean, a scent that soothes and comforts him. And he is always alone there.

However, things are different this morning.

His nostrils catch a scent that isn’t the usual, but somehow does an even better job of keeping him calm. Stirring, he feels something holding him firmly. Frowning, he peeks one eye open and notices it’s definitely not his Ruri pillow he’s clutching. Blinking the sleep away, he looks down and catches sight of you.

He’s lying on his back, holding you while you’re almost on top of him, embracing him tightly. His tail is even wrapped around one of your legs. What the—

Memories suddenly flood his brain.

Oh.

Right.

You slept in his room with him, calming his anxiety and helping him… Again. He sighs, remembering the sorry excuse of a demon he was the night before. He rubs his hand over his face, both ashamed and sleepy, and tries to move.

“You won’t leave me here,” your soft voice rings around the bathtub. So low, but somehow so powerful.

“A-ah!” He jolts, accidentally holding you closer in his surprise. “Y-you’re awake!”

“Good morning,” you chuckle, lifting your head to lean your chin on his chest and look at his flustered face.

“Morning,” he mumbles.

You’re still intently looking at him, and he’s already embarrassed enough. He tries to bring his hand to his face, so he can hide as he always does, but you intercept it and lace your fingers together. He pouts and tries to avert your gaze by looking at his ceiling and the jellyfishes hanging there.

However, you won’t accept it. You shimmy your body up, bringing your face to the same level as his and placing a soft kiss on his cheek. He blushes harder and looks at you from the corner of his eye.

“Don’t hide from me,” you whisper. You bring your hands, still intertwined together, to your lips, placing a soft kiss there too. “You have no reason to hide. And don’t think poorly of yourself.”

Levi wants to disagree. He wants to argue and say he has lots of reasons to hide, that he doesn’t deserve you, that you should go and leave him alone already. You should stop wasting your time with a pathetic demon like him.

But then you use your linked hands to nudge his chin and make him look at you, and everything he’s always thought about himself slowly subsides.

You have such a loving expression on your face.

Your lips wear that beautiful smile he loves, one that reaches your eyes and makes them squint softly. Your cheek is marked from sleep; he can see the line his pajama shirt left on it — but it doesn’t look painful, and he could say you look even more beautiful.

You bring your linked hands to your lips again, and he sees your perfect nails, matching his own, painted in his colors by yourself when you did both his and yours last night in an attempt to distract him from the self-deprecating thoughts.

“I-I’ll try not to…” he mutters under his breath. You give him a look, and he fumbles with his words in the next second. “I-I… w-won’t… I won’t.”

“Good,” you smile. “I won’t let anyone look down on my lovely boyfriend, and that includes you.” You poke his chest teasingly.

“Alright,” he sighs, and he’s sure even his sigh sounds smitten right now.

Leaning down, you kiss his lips softly.

He emits a startled hum, widening his eyes. “W-w-warn me first!”

“I love you, Levi,” you whisper, and he swears he sees hearts in your eyes. “I’m gonna kiss you again.”

“I c-changed my mind, it’s worse when you warn me,” he stumbles on his words.

That makes you laugh heartily, and he doesn’t have much time to stare in awe at you because you’re kissing him again in the next second.

His room was always quiet when he was sleeping, now he has your steady breaths to listen to. His blue lights were always illuminating the floating jellyfishes, now they reflect into your beautiful, bright eyes. His bathtub was always full of blankets, comfortable enough for him and his Ruri pillow, now it has you and your warmth. His things were always smelling like the ocean, now they’re impregnated with your smell, one that works wonders to keep him grounded.

He was always alone there.

He isn’t anymore, and never will be again.

He will always have you now.

he's read lots about dragons before, so he asks you lots of questions about them to you

he learns that dragons, once befriended, are not unlike cats in a few ways and his cat friends love your dragon friends

one time while he was reading, one of your dragon friends walked up and plopped themself onto his lap. it's a good thing he's a demon. he was stuck there for six hours

he also enjoys reading to them, and you if you decide to sit in and listen, and he feels like a proud dad

Asmo

not only does he love how beautiful they are, he also loves how intelligent they are

he loves to help you with bathing them and especially polishing their scales

if they let him, he puts cute little bows on them and takes loads of pictures

literally obsessed with them

Beel

to an extent, he can benchpress the smaller dragons

it's honestly terrifying to see him do it

he also asks lots of questions about the diets of the dragons and how they find their food if they're hungry before or after a mealtime

he likes to help make their treats and he only tries to eat the ingredients sometimes since he knows how much your dragon friends enjoy them

Belphie

thinks they make great pillows because they're large and warm

unfortunately for him, they don't care that he's asleep on them and will get up and leave him behind

likes to watch them fly around as both a way to help him fall asleep and just to admire them

would never tell you, but he thinks that dragon training is a very fitting and very attractive hobby for you

Otaku guardian of gate - Chapter 2

The next day you started exploring the seabed again. You were looking for crevices that could form the entrance to the cave. After some time, when you were already thinking about giving up, you came across a fairly large entrance to the cave.

You remembered the sea snake from yesterday and had the impression that this could be the cave where he was hiding. You wondered if it would be safe to look in there, but eventually, curiosity got the better of you and you swam inside. At the bottom of the cave were fish skeletons and damaged statues. Nothing that would represent any major discovery.

You kept swimming and it felt like you were slowly swimming upwards before you reached the air pocket. You emerged above the surface and noticed that you were in a small cave that was awakened by sunlight through a crack in the ceiling. You got out of the water and started searching.

The first strange thing you noticed there were the action figures scattered all around. Soggy posters, a scratched CD and other things were lying among them. From a closer look, it was clear to you that they were things from the anime.

You even recognized a few characters from the anime you watched yesterday. You noticed an empty bathtub in this mess. When you got closer to it, pillows and blankets were piled inside. You didn't understand what it was doing here.

You let it go and went ahead. After a few steps, the land ended and was replaced by water again. You were about to jump in when you noticed a slight movement. You bent down to get a better look at what was there.

To your surprise, it was the sea snake from yesterday and it looked like it was just sleeping. You watched as the light reflected off his colourful scales and as tiny fish swam through his coral-like horns.

You put on your diving goggles again and dipped your face in the water. That way you had a much better view and could admire him better. You had no idea how much time had passed when the snake moved and before you could get out of the water it opened its eyes and immediately noticed you.

You fell on your butt trying to get away from the water's edge. The snake emerged from the water and growled loudly. When he found out who disturbed his sleep, he disappeared back into the water and swam away through the secret tunnels.

You didn't plan on following him and instead got back to the ship as fast as you could. You were afraid that the snake would get angry and eat you. Therefore, it was better to stand aside for today. You locked yourself in your cabin and started writing notes from the last two days.

He resurfaced near your ship that evening. He expected, or rather hoped, that you would watch anime again. But that didn't happen and your ship was dead calm.

The sea serpent swam around your ship once more and looked inside but saw nothing. He grunted something before sinking back into the dark depths of the ocean.

The next day you went diving again, this time in a different part. There were a few interesting finds, but nothing worthwhile to further your research. Plus, you wanted to stay away from the sea serpent cave entrance. You still had no idea what he could do.

You were just studying an old slab with a strange text when a shadow covered you. You looked up and saw that sea snake. He was squirming and to tell the truth, he didn't look like a threat at all. He wasn't gritting his teeth like when you woke him up yesterday.

Rather, he gave you a nervous impression, if that was even possible. He circled over you before slowly swimming up to you and lightly brushing his giant body against your legs. You were confused by his behaviour.

As he brushed against your legs, he then headed in a direction you hadn't yet searched. The snake stopped and looked at you. You were floating in place and had no idea what to do. The snake swam back to you, lightly poked you and headed in that direction again.

When you weren't even watching him now, he nodded his head at you. You didn't know if you didn't imagine it, but you had the impression that he wanted you to follow him. Compared to him, however, you swam at a snail's pace.

When you swam to where he wanted, he showed you with his nose a large chest that was in good condition. It had the same strange writing as the board you were studying. Could this be the discovery you were looking for? Maybe. You didn’t know.

But now figure out how to get the chest on your ship. You left the balloons on the ship. You were about to go get them when the snake overtook you.

He bent down to the chest, carefully took it in his mouth and swam with the chest to your ship. You grabbed onto his spine and used it as a lift. But you had to hold on tight.

The snake placed the chest on the deck of the ship before looking at you with its large eyes. You had the impression that he was apologizing to you. Even though you had no idea if he understood you, you thanked him and started to investigate. You worked on the chest until evening and it felt good. Obviously, you weren't far from the gate.

You thought about it a bit more and it was more of a guess than something verified, but you decided to do it anyway. What if you play something else instead?

You stretched a white canvas over two palm trees and prepared the projector. You wanted to make it something like a summer cinema under the open sky. You planned to play the latest TSL movie there. You loved this series and you had a feeling that even a snake might like it.

While you were waiting for him to emerge, you played songs from the previous episodes. The snake appeared after some time and first looked at the canvas and then at you.

“I hope you like the TLS series,” you called to him, feeling like the snake was smiling at you. Then you watched a movie together.

Watching movies and anime then became your habit for the next few days. The sea serpent would bring you various old things or artefacts that you might be interested in and in return, he would watch anime with you that you didn't even like that much. You rather liked how the snake experienced it and how it squirmed.
