Oh, Levtavia! 😅 I've never honestly watched a character/ship that is so wantonly fan service AND yet enjoyed it so much? 💙

Levitt fell in love with Octavia by watching her story on screen: literally a self-insert for fans who'd loved watching her at home over the years. And c'mon, the scene where she punches him (and our boy SMILES at her!)? His becoming a JANITOR? Switching sides to help her and her friends... like, they really made sure to give fans EVERY reason to like him! 😂💙

Did I hate that Octavia's arc was reduced to mostly JUST Levtavia and not much else, once her brother came back? Mhmm!

Was I disappointed that she and Gabriel weren't a thing, and thought their story could've been way more compelling to watch? Absolutely.

BUT I also can't deny that I ate up all of how ridiculously romantic Levtavia was. And I'm glad that at least one of the Blake Siblings was given a happy ending with someone they love. The scene on the beach was cute, considering all that season put us through lol

the 100

my all time favorite character: raven reyes or bellamy blake

a character i didn't used to like but now do: octavia blake

a character i used to like but now don't: jasper, abby

a character i'm indifferent about: *dodges rotten tomatos* lexa.... also clarke, madi, abby, niylah, ilian, jasper, kane, levitt, hope

a character who deserved better: RAVEN REYES AND BELLAMY BLAKE, also idc echo did not deserve fandom's vitriol and intense hatred

a ship i've never been able to get into: levtavia, bellarke, murven, clexa, roan/clarke

a ship i've never been able to get over: RELLAMY, becho, murphamy, raven/echo, memori, spacekru fam in general tbh, and kabby before they went to hell

a cute, low-key ship: wellamy, millamy, miller/jackson, levtavia, linctavia, niytavia, jasper/maya, zaven, diyoza/mccreary [hides in the trash can], octavia/echo

an unpopular ship i still enjoyed: becho, rellamy, diyoza/mccreary, jasper/maya

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: murphy/ont*ri

my favorite storyline/moment: this may be a controversial and not widely agreed upon thing but i adored s5 so much, the villains (blodreina, diyoza, mccreary) were so hot and perfectly villainy, the conflict was hella entertaining, everyone looked hot after five years (even kane who clearly hasn't shaved in that much time and abby who was basically a mess), and also i loved the introduction of spacekru found family, murven friendship, and the sweetness of zaven (even if it became a hella rushed copout ship)

a storyline that should have never been written: the general racism of the show, lexa's death, murphy/ont*ri, emori victim shaming murphy (idk if that's quite what happened but wow my girl did not shine as much in that moment), raven forgiving murphy when he hadn't earned it, bellamy's death and s3 character assassination, wells jaha's death, pike's fascist arc... the list goes on

my first thoughts on the show: meh

Es handelt sich hier um Mythen und Legenden, die Darstellung gewisser Charaktere und Ereignisse ist nicht unbedingt zutreffend.  Flarke, Clexa, Bellarke-Endgame, Finn/Raven, Kabby, Minty, Linctavia, Wicken, Japser/Maya sind alle Teil hiervon, aber es ist keine Shipping-Fic. Fix-It, It, aber trotzdem ist im Grunde alles passiert, was im Canon passiert ist, , setzt stattdessen sozusagen das Ende fort. Impliziertes Bellarke, ansonsten Canon Pairings Becho Levtavia, Memori, Miller/Jackson, und Hope/Jordan. Bellamys Reise ist nicht mit 7x13 zu Ende, und ich habe hier ein wenig mehr Sinn in ein paar Dinge hinein getretconned. Er schlug die Augen auf. Zumindest dachte er, dass es das war, was er tun würde. Aber … Moment, das ist alles … falsch. Clarke hatte auf ihn geschossen, nein, falsch, sie hatte nicht nur auf ihn geschossen, sie hatte ihn erschossen.

The 100: Nobody Won

As much as JR has tried to beat it into our heads that the show wasn’t about ships, the inescapable fact is that it always was. He may have not wanted that to be the audience focus, but the show as always--from the pilot to the finale--about the relationships between these characters.

And I feel like for whatever reason JR took Season 7 (and the finale in particular) as one final nail in the coffin that is his neverending war against ‘the shippers’. Because if you think about it, no relationships were truly validated in this season. Yes, there were moments (Levitt/Octavia, Jackson/Miller, & Murphy/Emori) of ship fodder, but nearly every other relationship on this show devolved.

As for endgame? What a joke.

-Bellarke? Clarke shot Bellamy to get a sketchbook she ended up leaving behind in order to protect Madi who gave herself up at the end of the the next episode. Then, Bellamy was too dead to transcend. -Clexa? An alien judge came in at the last moment and wore Lexa’s face before nope-ing the fuck back out to leave Clarke on Earth to live her life and then die. The flame was shot and destroyed one final time, making it impossible for Lexa and the other commanders to transcend. -Becho? Bellamy was shot while Echo was on another planet. Echo, who spent the first half of the season on an avenge-Bellamy murder trip immediately forgives Clarke for killing him. -Clarke/Niylah? and/or Clarke/Gaia? Neither had much contact with each other for the majority of the last two seasons, nor any formal ending note. -Levtavia & Memori?  They made it to the end together, but in choosing not to transcend, they were made (magically???) unable to have children, so their story ends with them. (And somehow Emori--whose MIND was put into Murphy’s because her body was DEAD--was able to be brought back to her body???) -Mackson? They made it to the end together, but there is no further human species alive to remember their story.

Any character ever on this show? Humanity has ended (either in transcendence or at the end of Clarke & co.’s lives). The story of humanity is over. No one will remember any of what they did, any of what they went through, to get to the end of this story.

Setting aside all of the plot nonsense (What happened to Eligius III? Who even are these transcendent-aliens? What happens when you transcend? Why are we introducing an entire new species in the last fucking episode? Why is transcendence good, but the City of Light was bad?) we could have watched the Season 1 trailer and then the Series Finale and been just as well off. Just as confused, and the show would be just as pointless.

If by some miracle the Prequel gets picked up, go into it knowing that no matter how the prequel may end, the end result of that story is the end result of this story.

Humanity is dead.

And don’t expect JR to be any more into pleasing shippers that time around. Or working around an actor’s schedule. (Because any time an actor needed time off for another project, or just because--or even because of personal disputes, those characters always seemed to have gruesome deaths.)
