I will forever be bothered by how boys in fantasy shows lack whimsy.

The teen girls are riding unicorns, talking to fairies and being happy, while the teen boys are like "eew, fairies. Magic. Ew. I wanna go home and play videogames" I literally wanna punch them.

I want whimsical boys plz. Hell, I want whimsical men. Fully grown adult men, their eyes sparkling with childlike wonder as they cast spells and pet unicorns and protect magical plants.

I know a lot of people don’t like the show because the premise makes them uncomfortable and that’s fine but since teachers in Florida are being interrogated by the police for giving students mainstream YA novels that are now considered child pornography I need to say.

Big Mouth does not normalize pedophilia but does normalize being gay and trans (literally the best trans rep I’ve ever seen in a cartoon) so please be suspicious of anyone calling it “child pornography”.

It also normalizes feminism, sex education, abortion, mental health, and stabbing rapists and child molesters in the dick. So if you like Adult Cartoons but wish their politics weren’t so reactionary then maybe check it out? But if a shock comedy about going through puberty isn’t your thing then that’s fine too.

I write silly books about angels and demons and love as the world ends around you (and how maybe it can still be okay in the end anyways)

A naive angel befriends a bullied demon and that forbidden friendship kick-starts the apocalypse. About identity and love and what it's like to be a cosmic being not meant to have free will. Genre wise it plays around- it begins as a slower, cute slice of life in a magical university but hits hard with apocalyptic horror and drama!

A huge swath of LGBT characters and stuff too, especially in the realm of questioning and experimenting. Very friendship, and ace/aro/queer stuff, there's a romantic relationship but it's more about identity experimentation.

If you don't know, it's about impossible for indie authors to spread the word about their work. I'm a very ill and disabled person unable to work, so every reblog and especially review matters so much.

I offer free copies for anyone who wants one. Ideally you'd review, but I just want people to be able to read them.
