Amongst all the fervent prayers of the world, the king grant his scepter, the lions close their mouth, the cup be taken from thy lips,
A moment of remembrance should be made for the queer prayers,
the tear-streaked faces telling God to reach inside with holy hands And rip this thing from their soul
the silent ones on their knees begging God just this once to their soften others’ hearts
And one more amen for the broken ones who know They cannot be changed, and others cannot be changed, and still have the faith of queens and prophets to kneel at His feet

i broke so here's from crowley to his angel
I danced through all the fires, and I was so free
I was so unfettered, I was so unheld
Angel, I only stumble when you look at me
Why won't you touch me with more than eyes
Do more with your lips than just smile
It's only for you that I would ever plead
Angel, don't ask me to follow you to heaven
I don't need your forgiveness, I need your love
I don't need them to save me from damnation
Because when I fell from heaven I fell for you
And if you'll just for once try to understand
You've tempted the tempter and stolen the thief
So when after thousands of years I find the courage
To reach for you, to hold you to my dark heart
Forget the world that came between you and me
Don't choose to save it, choose to save us
The world will end in fire or ice, heaven or hell
But all that will matter is that we could have been us
So when they ask you to leave for heaven
Don't walk away, promise you're staying with me
Angel, tell me you said no

anyway. cherish your queer self. admire your beautiful queer face. gloat about your ever-growing queer vocabulary. find similarity in your differences with your peers and think of them in awe. make a queer smile today, and let them make you smile too. bask in your queerness. let queer joy unapologetically wash over you. even if just for a moment. heal.

Came across a horribly transphobic post and decided to try my hand at blackout poetry because fuck that person.
If you're sapphic or queer, you're amazing and I love you. If you're trans or nonbinary or anything else that makes you a gender freak I love you. If you're still figuring yourself out I love you.
Be your gay and freaky little self and fuck everyone else who disagrees with your existence.

"May I love you?"
I whispered in your ear,
you didn't seem to hear.
"Can I love you?"
Is it even allowed?
It's so hard to say aloud.
"Please, my darling,"
I wrapped my arms around you,
I didn't know what else to do.
"Call me darling."
I look into your eyes,
I look past your disguise.
I love you.
Gently.
Fiercely.
wonderfully.
Darling, let me love you.

as cliche as it is, i am curious about you. yes, please, tell me your favorite color. why is it your favorite? what do you do in your free time? what keeps you awake? what're the thoughts you think about that sound so silly you don't speak them? what are the answers to the questions you yearn for someone to ask? and do tell what your favorite pastry is, i have quite the sweet tooth myself. what silly connection do you feel to the world? do you yearn for the sea like air? or perhaps hiking in the woods feels more like home? indulge me in my questions, and forgive me, i only ache to know your soul. what is the thing you feel you can never completely explain in depth about yourself that you wish someone would listen to? im right here, my joy, and my ears work perfectly. i believe the exchange of information is one of the most intimate forms of care. please, let me speak to the unrefined you. i crave to meet him.

Children! Love does not mistreat you Love does not keep you captive Love bends, but Love will never break you Love is meant to liberate you ... in doing so, Love creates safe spaces Love keeps you in good graces if Anyone tells you different, They don't Love you! --- ... And what is the function of hate? hate does not want to understand you hate needs to control and command you hate is not…

okay heres the poem!!
GENDER CHAOS by kiley/kas
i am a boy today
i think
or something
close enough
some days ago
i was a girl
in a black skirt and eyeliner
a genderqueer boygirl
in pajama shorts and lipgloss
a boy
in my old college hoodie
genderless
in a disney hoodie
to have a gender
that will always
shift and change
ebb and flow
is beautiful
frustrating
joyful
unpredictable
natural
and chaotic
but most of all
it is just me.

a good omens inspired poem
Hello, mascot here. I was thinking about Crowley, and morality, and the story of Crowley's fall. And it made me think about why art is important, not because of the answers it gives us, but because of the questions it dares to ask. So I wrote a poem.
Your neck wore the noose
Before the judge made the call
A death warrant signed at your birth
Given a tongue, cursed to use it—
Who stands in judgement of the judge
Who oversees the All-Seeing
How dare you, they say
How, indeed?
Your skin already bore the bruise
Before you knelt— what is it to choose?
Hold— hold your tongue, cursed soul
Lower— lower your head.
A virtue in one eye, vice in another
You finger the noose
The knot is rough, uncertain
Like you— just like you.
You smile.
So the doubt is sown in the soil.
The leaves nod, quiver
Clarify nothing
The garden is razed—
There is still only silence.
But you have done what you swore to.
Because it is the question, the doubt
Not the answer
That will lead to revolt.
An answer is judgement,
The question is justice.
And so did the serpent
Slip through the noose.

Joy to the Queers
There's laughing in the streets,
Sounds of good joy
Flags flow in the wind,
Music blasting in the open air
And to think,
That what got us here
Was Black trans women
And drag queens
After decades of hate,
We finally thrive
After decades of fear
We finally strive
Queer history is here,
And we will not hide
We will not sit and watch
The tides go by
Queer joy is important,
Maybe more than pride
Joy that we are here,
Joy that others are near
Joy that we can live
Not just survive
Joy that all of us
Can finally thrive
Joy to the Queers,
Ignoring the jeers
Joy to the Queers,
Well into their years
Sipping on beer
Joy to the Queers,
Who died
But were not forgotten
Joy to us all,
For making it this far
As we march in the streets,
People will hear us sing
No one can ignore,
The joy of a thousand Queers

“Ahead of your time.”
An aromantic poem by Angel (All Pronouns).
Aromantic culture is viewing love as everything. And then nothing at the same time.
Is seeing love as fraternal, parental, platonic, friendly, grandparently, and also recognizing that it can also be none of those.
It's viewing the most simple thing in the world, like a little water puddle and thinking “how many amazing memories does this amount of water holds?”
It's having basic empathy and kindness to everything. From a old woman who says a very warm good morning to you to a little street cat that probably has 3 skin diseases, but you don't care and you're gonna pet it anyway.
It's looking at all of this variety, and then looking back to alloromantics fight to see if it's the lover or the friend who has the priority on the relationships and thinking “y'all are seriously stuck in that mindset?”
Aromantic culture is.... Being ahead of your time comparing to your peers.
