Christmas of Aquanauts.
Tumblr media
-Marineville, mid-December.
Troy Tempest the Captain of Stingray, ex-Captain Bradley Holden and ex-WASP oceanographer Gordon Tracy were drank in the corner of the Pub.
“You should be very grateful to Phones.”
Brad, who was drunk and a bit preachy, turned his attention to Troy.
Troy shrugged and looked Gordon as he asked help him.
“Certainly, it's probably thanks to him that those lovely ladies didn’t get mad at you.”
Gordon smiled mischievously.
“Come on , you guys are sooo merciless for me.”
Troy gestured as he surrendered to them, and reached for the fried fish.
“Haha, I gonna get water.”
Gordon got off the chair.
“Hey, I still not drank so much.”
Brad laughed cheerfully.
------
-Meanwhile in the control tower…
“achoo…hey, anybody taking about me?”
Phones sneezed, and Sub-Lieutenant Fisher who was playing chess by himself, jumped his shoulders in shock.
“Bless you.”
“Thanks.”
“I hope that person is not Titan.”
Fisher said, and he looked back to chess board.
“Yeah…I don‘t wanna see they found a rockabilly band and held the countdown concert in here.”
Phones sighed.
------
“Christmas is almost here.”
Gordon smiled happily.
They got off the pub and walking to Residential area. As they approached there, Christmas lights were decorated everywhere.
“By the way, does Spectrum also celebrate Christmas?”
Nobody knows Brad joined Spectrum, except few people including Troy and Gordon.
“Nah…our boss is very strict man. I will work that day, and hope I could eat Christmas cake.”
-Actually, Colonel White got angry because of troublesome guys in his organization including Brad aka Captain grey. But this is another story-
“Gordon, will you spent Christmas holiday with your families?”
Troy asked.
“Yes, I‘m looking forward to our family get together.”
“That‘s good! I hope you will enjoy. ”
“Thank you.”
“I hope The Aquaphibians will enjoying Christmas under the sea and we will spent peacefully this holiday.”
When Troy said that, Brad and Gordon smiled, because they remembered Troy‘s episode about he and Barry Byrne.
-----
-Spectrum Control Center.
“Oh….I wish I could join them...”
ex-WASP Seymour Griffiths as Lieutenant Green sighed in front of the computer.
“Anything fun?”
Captain Magenta came into the room just a little faster, it looks like he is an impatient man.
“Hi! Captain grey went our old workplace and he drank with friends after his job.”
“That’s too bad. However, I will in trouble if both of you get out of here, because you guys are relatively sane in this organization…”
The impatient Irishman scanned his ID, logged into the control room computer, and set up various apps 1.5 times faster than he could speak.
“You forgot Captain Ochre.”
“WHAT?”
Magenta opened his eyes and shook his head, as if to tell Green not to say that stupid thing.
“What's so sane about the craziest Guy in this organization? and I should educate him with Captain Scarlet‘s Opening Sequence.”
“What are you talking about?”
“No, forget it.”
Magenta looks cursing about Ochre, but Green smiled and took over the business because in fact, he understood Magenta trusts him and Ochre.
“You are going to off-duty aren‘t you.”
“Yes.”
“So you should go to the dining hall and you will found something you like.”
Magenta grinned.
“Ohhh, I wonder what's there…Bye, Captain.”

WIP Wednesday
"Bloody hell!"
Was a cry of pain that echoed through the bowls of the Mysteronized ship.
Loud and clear enough to sent Captain Scarlet and Lieutenant Green, who were struggling fighting off rogue battle-type robots with their Spectrum pistols, to dash towards their Commander-in-Chief
"Colonel White, are you alright!?" Lieutenant Green checked on the downed Spectrum leader while Scarlet gave them cover.
"Its my shoulder. It got dislocated..." winced White, holding up his left arm with the said injury.
The young Lieutenant quickly checked the shoulder, winced when he noticed with his touch that the joint definitely separated. Perhaps a little bit.
Thank goodness, it wasn't the hip that got dislocated - that doesn't mean it wasn't as painful!
Although Green acknowledged that he was no Doctor Fawn, and his own knowledge was either from the times one of his younger siblings got a dislocation or one of his mates during his days at WASP.
"You're need to be taken to a safer place for further examination!" he said, as he picked up the Colonel swung the good arm around his shoulders to lift the Old Man to carry him.
Colonel White huffed, waving his good hand - that was holding his own pistol - to show that the stubborn old seadog wasn't to planning to back down without causing some serious damage.

For the Cliches trope AU - The Bakery AU and Lt Green & Destiny. :-)
Thank you!
Thank you for the prompt, @yarol2075!
This one began to get away from me and develop a whole story of its own as I wrote it, but I managed to get it back to a reasonable drabble length! Hope you enjoy it! 😊
La Boulangerie Des Anges
Here he was again.
La Boulangerie Des Anges.
The Angel Bakery.
Yes, the name suited the little shop well. The woman who owned it was indeed like an angel.
Without knowing her name, and not daring to ask, Seymour had coined her as the Angel of Destiny. After all, he was frequenting the bakery more often than not since he’d arrived in Paris. Perhaps fate did exist in some strange way.
Today, his excuse was the torrential downpour that had descended upon the city. Sir Gray was still busy in his meeting on the other side of the Seine and Seymour, with time to spare, had decided to pay yet another visit to La Boulangerie Des Anges.

Soldiers of the Sea
Thundertober/Inktober 2022 Day 16: Aquanaut
The ex-aquanauts of WASP think about the old days.
Continuity: TOS; OCS
Tagging: @dragonoffantasyandreality @thundergeek59 @janetm74 @katblu42 @liseylou (Please ask if you would like to be alerted when I update or write new stories)
Prompt list
------
“Can you believe it?” His friend Seymour said as they walked out of the auditorium, surrounded on all sides by their fellow WASP aquanauts. “Captain Holden taken out just like that…”
Gordon nodded. Their friend’s recent crash had shaken the entire base. “I just hope he’ll be okay. That accident was pretty serious. He’ll probably be under close observation for months.” He sighed. “I’m going to be on that bathyscape by the time he recovers…”
“At least we know who’s taking over Stingray.”
“Troy and Phones are gonna do a great job, I just know it…”
There was a lull in the conversation before the younger lieutenant said anything else, slumping into his seat. “So, any plans for your shore leave in a few days, Tracy?”
“Of course.” Gordon grinned, also sitting down. “When do I not have a plan?”
“Yeah, you always have a plan for a prank in mind…” Seymour scoffed. “Let’s hear it then.”
“Well, my leave lines up pretty well with everyone else’s time off. Scott’s on leave, Virgil just finished his last term at MIT, John’s down from his tour of duty on the satellite NASA put him on, and Alan’s racing season is over, so we’re all going to have a long overdue family holiday. After Virgil’s graduation, we’re off to the Maldives with our father! Dad also said he found the perfect little island to build a holiday home.” Gordon smiled as he thought about the real reason their father had bought the island. “So he’s gonna show us on the last day…”
Seymour smirked. “Sounds like you guys have a fun week planned. Be sure to say hi to your family for me.”
“Sure will.” Gordon nodded. “By the way, how’re things with your siblings?”
His friend frowned. If Gordon thought his parents had a lot of work to do raising five sons, Seymour was the eldest of nine, and had raised his siblings alone since their parents had died in a plane crash.  “Let’s just say Scott’ll feel my pain…”
“That bad huh?” Gordon sympathised. He only had one younger brother, and Alan was a handful on his own when they were kids.
“How do parents do it?” Seymour groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“For what it’s worth, Griffiths,” His friend looked up in his direction, feeling slightly better when he saw the sincere look on Gordon’s face. “I think you’re doing great…”
Seymour sighed. “Thanks, Gordo…” He held up his fist for Gordon to bump. “Aquanauts for life?”
Gordon smiled warmly as he returned the gesture. “Aquanauts for life…”
------
“Aquanauts for life…” Gordon whispered to himself as he stepped out of Thunderbird Four onto the cold metal floor of Two’s pod, watching the pod door close up behind the small submarine, the waves lapping gently outside. That had been the last time he’d seen Seymour.
He’d gotten back from shore leave to find out his friend had taken a job offer along with Bradley Holden elsewhere, and hadn’t had much time to process the information before he was sent out on his next mission. He’d had his hydrofoil accident shortly after that.
His radio beeped at him, and he had to shake himself to answer his brother. “All set, Virgil. Take us home…”
Sensing the melancholy in Gordon’s voice, Virgil answered as gently as he could. “FAB. Descending now.”
He wondered if they were okay, wherever they were. They just had to be…
------
Green wandered into the Room of Sleep, tiredly acknowledging Captains Scarlet and Blue, who were on their way out to start their shift, with a grunt. They nodded back, moving quickly to avoid the terror that was a tired Lieutenant Green.
Captain Grey smiled in his direction, waving him over. Green groaned as he fell face first on his assigned bed, right next to Grey’s.
“You ever think of what it would’ve been like if we’d stayed in WASP?” Green’s voice was muffled, but Grey still managed to hear it.
“Well,” the older man began, “I’d probably still be stuck behind that desk. I wouldn’t have met Captain Orchid,” Grey smiled at the thought of his field partner, “or anyone else in Spectrum. I don’t regret it at all. Sure, there are things I do miss…”
“Like what?” Green sat up, attention rapt as he looked at his colleague.
“Troy was a blast to talk to… I miss everyone else too.” He huffed in amusement. “Heck, I even miss Commander Shore yelling into everyone’s ears.” He frowned. “Why’d you ask?”
Green lay down again, this time laying face up. “I don’t think we should’ve left without saying goodbye…”
Grey paused, before nodding. He knew exactly who his friend was talking about. “Me neither…”
“I miss him a lot, Brad.” Green huffed.
“I know, Sey… I do too.” Grey agreed. “I know he had a rough time before he left WASP, and I definitely feel guilty about not being there to visit him in the hospital, but from what I hear from my sources, he’s doing fine.” He smiled softly. “The whole family is…”
“That’s a relief…” Green sighed. “Let’s hope they continue that streak.”
“Knowing them?” Grey scoffed. “Seems unlikely…” Green snorted. “Aquanauts for life?”
Green smiled thankfully at his friend, returning the gesture the same way Gordon had for him all that time ago. It seemed like a lifetime had gone by since then…
“Aquanauts for life…”

Meanwhile, on Skybase...: Debrief
Series: Part 2 of The Long Game
Colonel White is growing increasingly concerned, and Scarlet seems to be keeping secrets.
Words: 1,657
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Additional Tags: Dark themes, violence, mentions of injuries, implied mentions of suicide, heavy angst, blue and scarlet being bffs, cross between ocs and ncs, black is very machiavellian, Swearing
Notes: Earlier drafts had me word vomiting the relationship between the GDF and Spectrum, so I'm hoping that I managed to fix it enough for it to flow better. One thing I underestimated as I went into writing this series is that timelines are horrendous and difficult to manage.
Read it below or on AO3 here.

Part 2: Meanwhile, on Skybase...
Chapter 1 found here on Tumblr, or here on AO3.
Skybase was abuzz with activity.
On the bridge of the vast aircraft carrier base, Colonel White sat at his desk. His brows were pulled into a concerned frown. Scarlet had yet to report in and, whilst he knew had no need to be so worried over his virtually indestructible officer, White found himself troubled more often than not when Scarlet failed to get in touch whilst on mission. Couple that with his call from the Global Defence Force, and Colonel White found himself teetering on the edge of a very colossal ‘worry’ cliff. He didn’t acknowledge it however. After all, he didn’t reach the rank of Colonel by being an anxious mess. He quickly pulled himself straight. He would have to take things as they came and, for now, the only thing he could do was assess the GDF’s situation whilst he waited for Scarlet to report in.
The call had been as pleasant as Colonel White could have expected. The GDF’s long standing reputation and legacy was naturally always going to be in contrast to that of the newly created Spectrum. Occasionally, White often wondered whether Colonel Casey felt the same way as her operatives clearly did. More than once his officers had reported their GDF counterparts were less than welcoming and claimed that Spectrum were stepping on the toes of the organisation. It had been three years now, almost to the day, since the Spectrum Organisation had been signed into existence, and still the squabbles between the teams seemed daily. White couldn’t have cared less, and he hoped Casey didn’t let the petty rivalry between certain officers taint her own view of the set-up they both had to deal with.
Set up by the World Council after a series of GDF failures, Spectrum were originally created specifically to aid the former organisation in duties they found more challenging. Spectrum were created to be more elite compared to the GDF’s more mundane, and were developed to deal with any manner of issue in a more succinct manner than the GDF could have ever dreamed. Answerable only to the World President, the red tape that had been cut was beneficial not only for Spectrum but also for the Council itself.
Spectrum’s role had grown beyond it’s original conception, however. In the months following the expedition to Mars, and Captain Black’s rash attack on the formally peaceful race of beings known as the Mysterons, the earth had been catapulted into a War of Nerves. Vowing revenge on Black’s attempt at decimating their Martian city complex, the Mysterons had repeatedly tried to attack and destroy the planet. Spectrum, and only Spectrum, had been given clearance by the World Council to deal with the threat.
“Imagine the state of the world if word got out about this mess.” World President Younger had exclaimed to Colonel White in their private meeting on the matter, and White found himself agreeing with the man. Better for the world to continue unaware of the threat that was now posed to them than to send the planet into turmoil, though he was sure the Mysterons would have benefited from that greatly.
And so, the war remained classified. Only those who worked for Spectrum were privy to that knowledge, and even then, only those with higher clearances were allowed to know the specifics. They were the only thing standing between the Mysterons and the earth being completely decimated.
But, as only Spectrum knew of the threat, the world continued life as normal, including the GDF. Hence the call from Colonel Casey earlier. Protocols demanded than any case that the GDF were unable to handle were to be handed over to the more capable outfit of Spectrum. At first, White was going to decline her call. He had far more pressing matters nowadays than a bizarre train wreck in North Alaska, and was about to ask his right-hand, Lieutenant Green, to come up with an excuse when the initial details came through. Three workers who were seemingly uninjured in a crash where all evidence suggested it should have left no survivors.
With Scarlet still silent, White began to develop a hunch. He hated hunches. Matters were best worked out logically, not emotionally, and yet he couldn’t shake this one.
Of course, he had left out any information about the beings from Mars on his call, but they were in the forefront of his mind. As Black had found out, the Mysterons had the remarkable ability of retrometabolism; the ability to recreate any object or being. From their Martian city complex, to the murdered bodies of Black and Scarlet, the Mysterons were able to recreate almost anything.
He had not long signed off the call when Scarlet finally buzzed in. After relaying his report on his skirmish with Captain Black, who had now turned traitor against his will and was being used as a pawn by the Mysterons in their War of Nerves, White ordered Scarlet back to Skybase with immediate effect.
Whilst he may not have liked his hunches, Colonel White often found the ones he couldn’t shrug off were the ones that rarely failed him.
The capabilities of Spectrum’s jets were incomparable to anything else on the planet, except the Thunderbird machines. Within three hours, Captain Scarlet was back on base. After a brief visit to Doctor Gold in the Medibay, he appeared on the bridge for his debrief. He greeted Lieutenant Green, who was sat at her command control desk, with a nod and a smile. “How was the vacation?”
“Relaxing.” Green replied with a smile that matched his. The back of her chair bent as she stretched backwards. “Not that I feel as relaxed now I’m back.”
“Isn’t that always the case?” Scarlet offered a chuckle before jogging up the few steps to reach the desk of Colonel White. The glass sound barrier slid into place behind him and secluded White’s office from the rest of the bridge. Scarlet remained standing, hands clasped behind his back, the image of pure military professionalism. “Colonel.” He greeted his superior officer with a nod of his head.
“Injuries all healed, Captain?”
“Like new.” Scarlet replied.
Despite escaping Mysteron control, and being the only known replicant to do so, Scarlet had retained the talent of retrometabolism. Even mortal wounds that would have made the best of men fall were nothing but scratches to the now virtually indestructible Captain Scarlet. This advantage, as well as his ability to sense nearby Mysteron agents, had made him one of Spectrum’s best hopes in their war against the Mysterons. Unfortunately, the Mysterons also knew this and went out of their way to try and dispose of Scarlet whenever they had the opportunity.
“Good. Take a seat.” White extended out a hand toward one of the chairs in front of his crescent-moon shaped control desk. “We have a lot to discuss.”
Scarlet took one of the seats.
“You claimed in your call that you didn’t know why Black was in Burgas?”
“That’s correct, sir.”
“Take a look at this.”
With a simple swipe White had displayed a grainy CCTV image. Though blurry, it clearly showed a person appearing from what looked to be an abandoned warehouse.
“Black, sir? Scarlet guessed from the worn, washed-out features he’d come to equate to his former friend.
White flicked through the images until one that was slightly more clearer came into the frame. It was indeed Black. “These were captured a few hours prior to your arrival. It was a warehouse a few miles southeast to where you caught up with him.”
“Any ideas as to what he was doing there?” Scarlet’s brows furrowed. There had been no intelligence suggesting Black had been meeting anyone.
“So far, we have found no possible reasons for him even being in Burgas at all.” White swiped at the images again, this time making them disappear. “I assume Black didn’t give anything away whilst you… bumped heads?”
For a moment, Scarlet remained quiet. He hoped that White would not clue in on his hesitation and instead believe him to have been in deep thought. Pursing his lips, Scarlet shook his head. “No, sir. Nothing of note.”
“Very well.” White concluded impassively, though Scarlet was certain he saw something akin to disbelief flash across his features. “That’ll be all, Captain. I hope I can assume a report will be on my desk?”
“Tomorrow morning at the latest, sir.”
Satisfied, White offered Scarlet a single nod. He pressed a button on his desk and the glass partition doors slid open again. Scarlet then left the bridge, offering Lieutenant Green a wave as he passed her, and entered the elevator.
It was only once Scarlet had disappeared from view that Colonel White stood and made his way towards Green’s desk. “Lieutenant, see if there is any CCTV in the area Scarlet brawled with Black.”
“Sir?”
“I have the feeling Scarlet was withholding something from me, and I fear he won’t be putting it in his official report either. See if you can find out what it is.”
White had never liked nor agreed with spying on his operatives unless it was an urgent case, but the pause Scarlet had taken when he had asked about Black had the Colonel feeling uneasy. It wasn’t that he distrusted Scarlet, but the captain still had many things to learn.
“S.I.G, sir.” Green affirmed and began her search.
White returned to his office.
From the windows that curved around the outer wall, he saw Spectrum planes and heli-jets parked and landing amongst the clouds that surrounded Skybase. Hands clasped behind his back not dissimilar to Scarlet’s earlier, White stared out at the sky they floated through. He sighed. That hunch of his was starting to grow into something more tiresome. He still couldn’t shake it and he doubted it would leave him any time soon, not until this whole messy business was resolved.

"By the Mysterons, who can replicate anything that's been destroyed and recreate it under their control," Lieutenant Green finished, sounding absolutely horrified. "How did we miss that?" Captain Blue asked, a little faintly. It was John's turn to swear. "Oh no they fucking don't." I'd love to know your thoughts baout this section - it was so exciting and I really enjoy rereading it ! 5/5
Send me a section of one of my fics to get a behind-the-scenes commentary on it
I'm just gonna copy out the whole section with formatting here rather than screenshot the chain of asks as this was the only one that contained anything other than the fic quote. My commentary will be right underneath!
John didn’t quite swear, but Scott figured he wasn’t far off. “No- that’s not- no-” “John, what-” he started, before a flood of light entered the villa.  Light that was supposed to be blocked out by the tsunami defences. The tsunami defences that were sliding back down into the sea. “Kayo!” “I don’t know why!” she protested, struggling with the controls.  “It’s not responding!” “Uh… is your swimming pool supposed to be moving?” Captain Blue asked. “What?”  Scott dashed over to the balcony to see that, sure enough, the swimming pool was retracting as though Thunderbird One was about to launch.  He leaned against the glass doors, trying to look down to see if Thunderbird One was underneath, but before he could tell, the doors moved, retracting and returning the villa to its usual open air status. “We must have been hacked!” Kayo said, still wrestling with the controls. “How?” Gordon asked, casting around wildly as though he’d be able to find a way to stop it.  “That’s not-” “Does anything have access to your systems?” Lieutenant Green asked.  “Anything at all?” “Not anymore,” John said, waging his own war against the system from the desk, if the way his fingers were little more than a blur was any indication. Both Colonel White and Mel had vanished, Scott noticed distractedly as he stumbled back from the suddenly-open doors. “What do you mean, anymore?” Captain Blue demanded. “The communication hub?” Captain Scarlet asked. “That had access to everything,” Scott confirmed, watching John and Kayo fight with the systems and feeling frustrated that it was a battle he couldn’t help with.  “But it was destroyed.” “Destroyed,” Captain Scarlet said, flatly. “Destroyed… by the Mysterons,” Captain Blue added.  Scott almost snapped at them to stop repeating useless information they already knew, but something about their body language made him pause. “By the Mysterons, who can replicate anything that’s been destroyed and recreate it under their control,” Lieutenant Green finished, sounding absolutely horrified. “How did we miss that?” Captain Blue asked, a little faintly. It was John’s turn to swear. “Oh no they fucking don’t.”
Oh, this passage. This passage was so much fun like you wouldn't even believe. Scott and the rest of IR doing their damndest to keep Spectrum as in the dark as possible while everything is literally exposing itself, and of course Spectrum being smart cookies who are noticing things and taking note of everything. Everything. I had so, so much fun, here.
Sorry, Scott.
Balancing all the characters in this scene was a little tough (the fic as a whole, actually). I do best when I'm dealing with maybe four, five at a push, characters in a scene - preferably two or three, so having *counts* seven characters who all refused to go underground/were needed for plot reasons running around in what was supposed to be a high-charged scene full of tension was a challenge. If you're wondering why Virgil, Alan, Brains, Grandma and the Angels were stuffed out of the way for most of the fic - that's why. Anyone else in this scene would have ruined the balance. As it was, it was a bit like walking on a tightrope, but the intention here was to focus on two or three characters in particular - Scott, as this chapter's narrator, John, and to some extent Captain Blue, with the others providing more of a support role.
John starting this scene by definitely not swearing because John doesn't swear unless it's the literal apocalypse under normal situations but ending the scene (and the chapter) by swearing because he's just realised his precious Thunderbird is being used to kill them was a little bit of self-indulgence.
And actually, let's talk about that. One of the biggest things I had to figure out when I was writing this fic (as @janetm74 and @gumnut-logic know because they were the unfortunate souls on the receiving end of my endless musing on the topic) was how the Mysterons were actually going to try and kill IR. Thunderbird Five's destruction and recreation under the control of the Mysterons took a little while to come to me as a work-around for Tracy Island's defences. Originally I was thinking something like how am I going to sneak a Mysteron agent onto IR to sabotage them from the inside? The brainwave that was Thunderbird Five (why sneak an agent in when they literally have IR's supercomputer in a position to be under their control?) was the sort of thing that had me literally bouncing around the room when it occurred to me. I was so smug about figuring that one out! Actually, I'm still really proud of that little plot twist... which I'm not actually sure anyone saw coming, judging by the various comments on the fic.
As for actually writing this scene - it was one of those I was full of glee about. I'm sure any fic writer will tell you there are moments in fics that you're just chomping at the bit to unleash on your poor, unsuspecting readers, and this scene was that for me in this particular fic. The way it starts with John not-panicking, and then IR's secrets starting to crumble, and the rest of them joining in on the panic while Spectrum desperately try and pry the relevant information out of them, before we finally get all the pieces of the puzzle and the glaringly obvious hole in their security that they'd have noticed if IR hadn't been quite so tight-lipped about their secrets (Captain Blue's sheer disbelief that they missed something that should have been so obvious, Lt. Green being the one to spell it out like the communications officer he is, all three of them putting everything together the moment they heard that the destroyed communications hub was so intertwined with IR's systems while IR were a half-step behind because they don't really know the Mysterons... Although John was more like a quarter-step behind because it's John and his little "waged war" on the system would've revealed TB5 as the culprit very quickly, especially to him of all people).
It was important to me in this fic to not make either organisation seem like they were "better" than the other. IR and Spectrum do very different things and they're both the best at what they do, but when it comes to overlapping into each other's jurisdictions... well, it's not quite so smooth sailing. Scott's youth and relative inexperience work against him a little in places, but on the other side, his reasonings are solid and he's constantly being underestimated by Spectrum because of his youth.
I also really, really wanted a John and Lt. Green tag-team. Kayo was a necessary evil in this fic (she's IR's head of security and decent with tech, there was no way to justify leaving her out), but John and Lt. Green? Rather a terrifying combination and the one I was most excited about writing out of all of them (although the cautious military interactions between Military Bros and the two Captains was also a fun game of "who's gonna crack first").
Poor Gordon in this scene, though. He had literally nothing to do but he was important earlier and was never going to leave Scott to fend off the two Captains alone (although Scott was equally useless and mad about it, in a mirror with Captain Scarlet, because I really wanted a plotline where for once he had to sit back and be useless and frustrated about it, much like poor Captain Blue ends up being most of the time in canon...)
But yeah, this was the twist reveal scene and I was lapping up the reactions to this as they came in! I'm so glad you found it as exciting as it was intended to be :D

Green: I’m excited to bond a little with Melody. She’s like the little sister I never had…
Green: Because the little sister I do have is normal and not terrifying.
Melody, mouthing: I’m gonna kill you…
