“Ughhhh…” you groan out in pain, as you lay on your side on the couch, a heating pillow resting on the lower part on your stomach.
Period cramps are a bitch but it’s still better than being pregnant, you’d rather take the pain over pregnancy any day.
Thankfully you have the day off, so you can wail in agony at home in peace, while your boyfriend is at his volleyball practice in Kodaira.
It’s late in the afternoon right now and Wakatoshi should be back soon from training.
Not even five minutes later, you hear the front door unlock and a sweaty 6’3 man with dark olive-brown hair and matching olive-colored eyes walks inside, taking off his shoes and neatly putting them aside and then putting on his slippers.
“(Y/N)? Where are you?” The Opposite Hitter asks while he looks for you in your shared apartment.
“I am here Toshi, I am dying.” You call back from the living room couch.
Frowning in concern, he quickly makes his way over to you, breathing out a sigh in relief when he sees you are unharmed. Well at least from his perspective.
“What’s going on? What makes you say you’re dying? You look in a normal state to me.”
Irked by his comment, you reply.
“Well, I am not in a normal state. I am bleeding the size of the Niagara waterfalls and my uterus cramps are killing me. Can’t you end my misery?”
Understanding now what you mean thanks to a prior educational lesson from his team captain Hirugami, he laughs a little bit at your dramatics.
“I love you too much to do anything to you, you know that. You go through this every month though right? And you are still alive and fine whenever it’s over.”
Growling a bit, you grit through your teeth.
“It’s super bad this month Toshi. I feel like Levi Ackerman is slaying the Beast Titan inside of me.”
Reflecting your words, he remembers the advice his captain gave him.
“How about this. You take a nice hot shower and I will order something for us. You want your usual from the Italian restaurant that we sometimes go to?”
Glancing at your boyfriend, you nod while still clutching onto the heating pad for dear life.
Slowly raising yourself from the couch, you waddle in your comfy clothes towards the bathroom for a nice hot shower.
Taking your time, Wakatoshi orders Italian for you, along with some sweet desserts that would help as well with your cravings and ordering some boba tea.
When you walk back into the living room, in your Pusheen pajamas, you almost get teary eyed as you see your favorite food along with a tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and strawberry panna cotta.
What did you do to deserve this guy?
When Wakatoshi walks from the kitchen inside the living room and sees your teary face, he thinks he has done something wrong.
“Did I do something wrong? Do you not like it?”
“Waka… W-Wakatoshi t-this is so n-nice.” You let the tears stream in happiness, your hormones going crazy.
Perplexed by your behavior, he sees you walking towards him and you give him a big hug while soaking his shirt with your tears.
“Eat something my love, afterwards we’ll watch some more of ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’.” The brunette suggests.
You cry even harder at your partner’s sweetness and soft-heartiness.

04:04 ✦All Might - Yagi Toshinori✦
Tumblr media
The sun just barely started to illuminate the kitchen as it started to rise. Still, no matter the time, you were up and walking around getting your water bottles ready.
"Morning," Toshinori hummed as he rounded the corner.
"Morning," you replied.
Small pecks were exchanged.
"You're up early today," you commented.
Toshi shrugged, "I couldn't sleep after you got up."
"I wish I would have known," you giggled. "I would have come back to bed."
"And skip out on our morning run?" he chuckled.
Both of you grabbed your water bottles and other things you usually took with you and headed out the door.
It was nice this time of morning. The air was crisp and just starting to warm up. The sun was slowly rising over the horizon. Birds chirped and sang to you as you walked by their homes in the trees.
"So, what's on the agenda for today?" you asked as you looked around.
"I have class later on this afternoon," Toshi recalled his schedule. "I think I might work on my lesson plans before that."
"Will you be home in time for dinner?" you asked.
"Of course," he beamed.
Ever since he had met you, he was in love. You were the light of his world, and you felt the same way. He was a wonderful bright light in your darkest days. You both were head over heels for the other.
Mornings like these were a daily thing, but neither of you would miss it for the world. Once some small domestic conversations were shared, you both would just walk together in comfortable silence. It was a time for both of you to just be without all the other distractions and annoyances that life brought.
"I love you," you sighed out looking over at him.
He had the biggest grin on his face, "I love you too."

AU where Izuku and Mirio grow up as siblings.
Krakenverse? You want krakenverse? Or the DC au? Or the various apprentice au spinoffs? Or the Deltora au? Or the- nevermind you get a new one here have a canon ish setting
1- Inko remarries Togatadad. Solid step up for both of them I'm sure. Izuku and Mirio are now step siblings and get along like a house on fire yay
2- Mirio is more than happy to let himself be a laughing stock but absolutely no one will bully his little brother. Bakugou learns his lesson and stays away. Izuku mainly hangs around with his older brother and his anxious friend.
3- Aldera's quirk training classes suck even more than Mirio's canon middle school, which is why he's very lucky to have Izuku make up the difference because they HAVE to be heroes together they just have to which means Mirio has to get into UA first! He does by the skin of his teeth. (Izuku's life at middle school after his brother is no longer there sucks and he tries, unsuccessfully, to hide this fact from his family. Before it seemed a given the brothers could be heroes together, but now Izuku has doubts)
4- oh yeah the family's last name is uh Michiya (通谷) now, fun little kanji combo. This is important because when All Might rescues Izuku from the sludge villain and Izuku introduces himself while asking if he can be hero, he says he's Michiya Izuku. And All Might recognizes that surname. It's the one of the kid Sir Nighteye keeps pushing on him. All Might asks if Izuku's got any family in the industry, Izuku says yeah his big brother is interning with- oh my god does Sir Nighteye talk to you?? And he mentioned my brother?? Mirio is doing to flip when he hears that!! All Might awkwardly says he has heard good things indeed but really must go. Ensue sludge villain 2.0, nevermind this is the perfect kid
5- Sir does not think so, and tells Toshinori this at great length over the phone. Toshi does not tell him who the quirkless middle schooler he is insulting is, because he has no idea how accepting of him Mirio is with no family around, and even if he is Toshi was once quirkless himself and doesn't out people like that. (Sir has no clue Mirio's little brother who helped him train is quirkless because Mirio also does not out people.) That all said, Toshi knows this could blow up in Izuku's face and he deserves to know how. He puts off telling Izuku for a week but then the kid says his brother wants to come help him train on Sunday, so Toshinori tells him Saturday that Nighteye knows about OfA and originally asked him to consider Mirio. Izuku says Mirio would be a great candidate on heroism alone... Toshi doesn't care because he picked Izuku, dang it, but Izuku does care. So they tell Mirio about OfA the next day and he says in no uncertain terms that he doesn't want it and is so so so excited for Izuku. Mirio expects Sir Nighteye to echo his excitement the next day at his internship.... Which ends up being Mirio's last day at his internship, ah.

aaaaaaaa shinsouuuuu!! >< been wanting to write for him ♡ thank you for the requesttt! sorry it took this long :c ,, also this is supposedly a full angst one but i cannot resist on turning it into a comfort fic </3
Tumblr media
—shinsou hitoshi.
sfw. gn!reader. self-insert. contains angst and comfort themes. wholesome and fluff themes as well with a dash of funny moments. established friendship.
warnings: mentions of food + a section of shinsou's brief past before ua (regarding his quirk), and a mention of a curse word (once!)
note: thank youuu thank youuuu againnnn for requesting bestieee! ♡
this takes place after the sports festival arc! this one is mainly focused on shinsou's pov :0 + if there are any inaccuracies i apologize :<
Tumblr media
Shinsou Hitoshi. Unpredictable, is what many used to describe him. In a sense wherein his old peers viewed his own quirk as villainous.
Half expecting he'd be a villain because of it.
The majority are exposed to flashy quirks, thinking of such have higher chances of becoming heroes than those who do not. It's somewhat treating a particular status-quo as normal. Any other quirk beyond those categories might be seen under the villains. However, quirkless individuals are often ridiculed or looked down upon.
For Shinsou Hitoshi, he had grown to deal with it. And had learned to adapt to his quirk despite being less flashy than the rest. Shinsou couldn't care less.
Yet the strong yearning to be recognized of his potential into being part of the Hero Class is a goal he's willing to get.
He wants to prove anyone who had doubted him—that they were wrong about such a strong assumption.
"Toshi?"
Shinsou cleared his throat, pretending he wasn't busy with his thoughts again. Averting his gaze to meet yours, catching a glimpse of the growing red tint across your cheeks.
"Can you repeat what you were saying?" He asks, though his monotonous voice is laced with a tinge of embarrassment for spacing out. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
How long was he spacing out for? He couldn't tell…
"No worries!" Flashing him a reassured smile, still feeling the warmth on your cheeks. "I was asking if you had finished the paper due tomorrow?"
"Ah," He remembers, humming in response. "I had already finished it yesterday."
His response left you in shock.
"That's good to know, Hitoshi!" You said, giving him a thumbs up.
Shinsou, being the ever so attentive friend. Shifting his gaze back on the paper, writing the last paragraph needed as he spoke, "Do you need help with it?"
His question caught you a little off-guard.
You placed a hand beside your mouth, whispering, "...Is it okay with you? I know you've been quite busy lately…"
"It's fine, my extra-curricular activities are canceled today." He casually replies. "Besides, we haven't hung out for a while too."
Of course he had to come up with something like a small white lie to cover up that he had been taking lessons, and perhaps—sparring sessions too. Secretly.
Though, he never liked the idea of lying to you. But for the sake of keeping a secret, he has to. And you never did pry into it any further.
"You are my life savior, Hitoshi-kun!" Your smile grew bigger. "Thank you."
Hitoshi wasn't sure if it's the weather today. Seeing as if, the sunlight made you glow from where he sat. Noticing your eyes were sparkling in excitement.
"After school?" He questioned.
You blinked.
"Eh?"
"Do you want to study together after school?" He clarified with a small hint of a smile.
"Right, right! Where, though?" You then ask.
Shinsou chuckled lightly, "Your dorm?"
You've been pacing.
For the past fifteen minutes or so, you've been pacing around the dorm.
Contemplating on the panic response you gave to Shinsou not long ago (it's only been an hour). Because you'd agreed the study session would be at your dorm, hence the current situation right now. Pacing around, waiting for him. Which resulted in a last minute clean-up, shower, and change of clothes.
Shinsou updated you after class that he might be a little late as he remembered to do an errand.
And you don't have to rush everything. You can wait.
Once 4 o'clock hits, there was a soft knock on the door. "It's Shinsou."
His muffled voice from the other side could be heard.
You were quick to tidy yourself up before opening the door, perhaps—a little too quickly. Feeling your weight was falling until Shinsou gripped the material of your sweater with one hand. Preventing you from falling face flat on the floor.
Helping you maintain your balance, as he quickly then shoves his hand on the pocket of his jeans. "...Are you alright?"
Quickly nodding in reply, "I'm good! Thank you, uh…have you been training lately?"
It baffles him slightly on how you could tell that he was. From his quick reflexes? Tight grip? Or was it the callous hand that gave it away?
A faint tint of red spread across his ears, he nervously scratches his nape. "...Yeah—after the festival, I really wanted to…find ways to improve myself."
It made you smile warmly. "I admire you for your determination, Toshi. Even after the festival, you continued to work on yourself. And that's already admirable of you."
"If the day ever comes where you'll be able to fulfill that dream, I'll continue to always support you. I'm proud of how far you've accomplished." The genuine sincerity coming from your heart never fades. "I believe we can make it…"
Shinsou couldn't comprehend why.
But when he dropped the bags of refreshments he had brought, and welcomed you in an embrace—it felt right.
A stray tear had trickled down from his cheek. Muttering out a soft, "thank you."
And he meant it.
Returning the gesture, hugging him back. Comforting him while soothing his back, and pulling him closer to your warmth.
Both of you stayed like that for a while or maybe a little longer.
After pulling away, helping him take the refreshments on the counter by the kitchen. Before indulging yourselves in school work.
"We should spar next time," You suggested out of the blue. Taking a sip of the drink, "And maybe teach me some tricks."
Shinsou smiles and sets down his pen, "I'm free over the weekend, how's that sound?"
Your eyes gleamed. "Deal!"
"First, homework." He reminds, pointing the pen on the laid out papers with a knowing grin. "Then maybe I'll think about it—"
"Toshiii!" Giving him a nudge, looking at him pleadingly in an attempt to have him agree with it. "Don't give me false hope."
He reaches out to ruffle your hair with a chuckle, "I'm not~" Singing in response, "I did offer it, didn't I?"
"If I finish it before friday, will you consider?" Now you're the one who wanted to clarify his offer on teaching you to spar.
Shinsou pretends to think for a moment, "What about if you could finish this before I finish preparing our snacks?"
He then stood up from the cushion, and headed straight to the counter and began to prepare.
"EH?!" A nervous sweat rolled down on the side of your face, staring at him in disbelief. "At least give me a warning before you start!"
Shinsou sticks out a bit of his tongue to tease, "You only need another 100 words to finish the paper, you can do it. Right?"
"ShIT! I WROTE WHAT YOU SAID—" You groaned from the table, trying to search for a liquid eraser on your pencil case. "Don't start yet!"
It made Shinsou laugh lightly, shaking his head. Watching you—concentrated on finishing the paper. Perhaps, he was able to get you to write a little over the word limit before he could bring in the snacks on the table.
He purposely riled you up a little, and for him to purposely prepare the snacks as slow as he could.
He silently eats beside you, offering a bite of food on the plate every now and then. As you had grown fixated on finishing the paper. To which, you accepted wordlessly.
Moments like these, he cherishes it a lot. Especially if it's with you.
"...Toshi?" Suddenly catching his attention upon hearing the nickname. Your hand slightly brushing against his underneath the table, "I'm really grateful that we're friends because you mean the whole world to me."
A small yawn escapes from you, "...Like you really, really do. Thank you for letting me know you better…every day."
"I hope we get to know each other more, even in the future…" Were the last words he heard from you before the soft snores came.
You had fallen asleep on his shoulder.
Carefully adjusting himself to let you sleep a bit comfortably, making sure you wouldn't stir yourself awake.
Shinsou Hitoshi wouldn't lie that a fond smile adorns his features. "Thank you for accepting me for who I am too, Y/N…"

I really love your opinions and posts about toshi, so if i may, do you think toshinori will (or maybe has already) "learn the lesson" that others have been trying to show and tell him, and see worth and meaning in his life beyond All Might the hero?? Obviously it's not a behavior or mentality that one can change just like that, especially after so many years living behind that persona. But with so many characters around him telling him to keep on living, and he still in the end attempts a sacrifice, I can't help but wonder if he truly understands what everyone else has been trying to tell him and really try to live. It sounds like i'm not being fair to him, bc obviously it's an extreme situation of war and at this point, it's normal to act based on 'whatever it takes', but idk, i'm just worried about his character 😭
Tumblr media
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you also like Toshi.
Anyway-- I think you've already brushed against the root of the issue! Rationally speaking, Toshinori does understand that other people want him to live and he's so unbelievably, genuinely grateful each and every time someone encourages him to keep living. He's completely sincere when he says that he wants to live/is going to keep living.
That being said, I don't think it's contradictory for Toshi specifically to talk about wanting to live, fully *mean* that he wants to live, and then immediately try to blow himself up. It can be difficult for people to fully understand the insidious nature of mental illness, I feel, bc they try to rationalize something that simply isn't rational (I don't want to diminish the necessary context behind Toshibomb, either: Toshi was primarily acting out of desperation to protect Izuku from AFO-- and the narrative itself chose not to reward/validate him for this.)
Like, I totally get that some Toshi fans feel betrayed/upset because it feels like Toshi isn't taking other people's feelings seriously, or bc it feels as though he's "undoing" all his character development-- but genuinely, I don't believe his development has been undone in the slightest. Toshinori is genuinely fighting to live and for his right to keep living. Toshinori also attempted to kill himself. Both realities are equally and simultaneously true for this character, even if it seems like they're fundamentally incompatible with each other. "I want to keep living for you!" and "I would die for you without hesitation!" aren't contradictory feelings from Toshinori's perspective.
(side note: I don't want to make assumptions about the experiences and lives of other fans, so I apologize if this comes across that way! I know a lot of other fans also suffer from depression and don't mean to insinuate that they lack perspective, or anything like that.)
Personally, I don’t think Toshi’s arc is remotely finished yet-- primarily because his feelings regarding Tomura remain quite conspicuously unaddressed. Toshi still needs to admit out loud what his essence as a person (i.e. aura!might) shed tears over— that in his heart of hearts, he also wants to save that boy. Izuku, Toshinori, Bakugo, and Aizawa are the characters that Tomura found himself fixating on during Act 1 bc they all represent something that failed him terribly (Heroes - Izuku, Family - Toshinori, Society - Bakugo, His Teacher - Aizawa). So, these four are the key players who will play the biggest role in saving Tomura, I feel-- and all four characters still have some critical development that's needed before they can all be on the same page about what needs to be done, and ultimately "change fate" together:
Tumblr media
I also feel that, if there's any lesson that Toshi does still need to learn, is that it's okay to live entirely for his own sake. He's learned that he wants to live, but he ties that desire to other people and other people have unfortunately/unintentionally reinforced this ("Izuku lives for your sake so please don't talk about dying" "You gotta keep living until the day you can hear me say 'I am here!'" "Just you being here is all the push other people need to keep going" "you can only claim the title of a hero by dedicating your life to others")-- and that's where the dissonance kicks in, where Toshi is still willing to kill himself for the sake of others because he's primarily living for the sake of others. Toshi still needs someone to tell him that it's okay to live, just because he wants to, without tying this desire to anyone else.
This is a lesson I feel he can learn through being more honest about his own feelings (which again, heavily ties to him finally processing his feelings about Tomura/Tenko and then finally acting on them!). I also feel like Bakugo and Tomura (two of the most ego-driven characters in the cast) may end up having a role to play in helping Toshinori understand that it's completely okay to live for himself.
Edit: As for Toshinori "learning that he has value outside of being All Might," I feel that he has already learned this! I'm actually writing a post about what Iron Might means for Toshinori as a person & why it's a positive development right now-- So I hope that it will address your concerns, if only a little!

Let's have some [Redacted] for WIP Wednesday please!
Sentences added to [redacted], and another three added to Catching Sho as well!
It might not be their long-adored, worn-soft game of chasing and being caught, but Sho loved lessons with Kei almost as much, if with less childish gentleness. They were practical, yes - Kei kept after him until he could outpace anyone human, if he tried, and Sho knew just how many times that had saved his life - but they were also special for simply being with Kei; for Sho being his sole focus. The two of them alone and away from anyone else, even Toshi back at their apartment, meant Kei was less likely to fade back into his odd distance - where he was obviously present, but never quite seemed to be in step with anyone else.

This is the last one AU Asura izuku. izuku always want more he not satisfied he want more of everything
To Asura, the human body was sacred. It was the law of the universe that forced Asura to protect the person who worshipped or converted him. Often it happened that Asura came into the earthly world, merging with the human soul, forming something new and permissive. But sometimes a paradox happened, and the Human became an Asura, approaching the very ancient gods who created this world.
This is because in every human being there was a Seed, a little seed of that very divine beginning that could sleep all his life, or awaken at birth, during his life or on his deathbed, and then the Seed would decide, after the deeds of the person in the past life, to whom exactly the person belonged. There always had to be a balance, so that the human world would develop and live on, be reborn, learn, and continue itself again. That is why the seed often slept and never awoke. But when the scales began to swing, awakening the seed, then there was one in the world who had to create the balance again and maintain it.
And many believed that this Human always came from Deva, from the messengers of the Sun, to melt away the filth in the souls of men. But...
“...but this Human has always come with the grace of Asura,” the monk Yagi finished his story, looking through the flames at his disciple with a slight weariness. “It is the grace of Asura that enables a Human to realize the value of Human Life, the value of simple things, the value of momentary pleasure and willed patience. But such a person needs to control it, otherwise the grace of Asura can completely capture the Chosen One's soul, plunging it into the abysses of base desires or, worst of all, defying the Universe itself.”
Izuku listened intently throughout the lesson, writing it down on parchment, which he would later sew into his large book of notes. More than three months had passed since he and Yagi began their pilgrimage, and the original notebook had already been re-stitched several times and reinforced with leather threads and tarred strips lined with tanned leather. For safe keeping. The monk regarded it with a little wary curiosity at first, but now he seemed to get used to the fact that Izuku was recording almost every one of their lessons.
“Challenged? What happened to people like that afterwards?”
Yagi, smiling sadly, picked up his staff and swung it a few times, making the rings ring in the silence of the late afternoon.
“About that next time. But before you go to bed, I want you to think about what it means to live by the Will of Deva and what it means to live by the Will of Asura.”
The boy's face was hard to read, but a shadow of disappointment slipped across it. Of course, Young Izuku was curious, and Yagi would say excessively curious for someone who was born with such a pure soul. It was as if he had never lived before, and this incarnation was his first coming to earth. And that frightened him. The boy could become easy prey in the hands of the occultists if they found out about him before he got his mind right.
“Don't think too much, Youngster, half the answer always lies in the question, and the truth lies in the most prominent place,” smiled the monk, reaching out his hand to stroke the boy's head. “Go to bed, we have a very long road ahead of us tomorrow.”
Izuku squeezed his eyes shut against this caress, fighting the urge to question his mentor, which caused the monk to feel a warmth in his chest. His thirst for knowledge was exceptional and so bright that it was capable of sizzling all obstacles before it.
And as soon as the boy, after wishing him good night, disappeared into the tent, Toshinori could exhale. The boy was exceptional. Too young, too pure, and eager to learn new things. At first Toshi feared that this was one of the manifestations of the vices of the mind, but then he calmed down. Izuku was not jealous, and if his thirst for knowledge could border on greed, that impression was shattered by the unselfishness of his actions. And it was frightening. The boy, by all descriptions, should have been the incarnation of Deva, but he was unnecessarily involved in worldly life, unnecessarily meddling in people's problems that did not and could not touch him under any circumstances. “I felt I had to help them. I wanted to help them. I want to do it.”
A harmless momentary desire that put a wall in front of him and separated him from his disciple. Such manifestations of desire were characteristic of other incarnations, but... the One-For-All within him burned with a steady and calm fire, in no way impeding Izuku's actions. It was as if he wished it all to go on and take its course, without question. The monk Yagi feared what indulging these desires might lead to - if the young man's soul was indeed in its very first incarnation, no matter how many Devas were in him, one tiny presence of Asura, even fleeting, would be enough to cause the Devas to leave his body. As long as One-For-All is not handed over to him, Toshinori will have to channel his energy and find ways to curb it. And hope that this boy was not the one who was supposed to be the Chosen One.

—The Adults Are Talking
Aizawa Shouta x Haruno Sakura
Chapter 10: The Adults Are Alright
Beta: @flowershinobi
Read on [ao3]
Tumblr media
The clean antiseptic smell of the hospital reminded him of the many trips he’s had here both as a hero and as a teacher.
In his own morbid way, it calmed him, because it also reminded him of her.
“Got used to the hospital yet, Aizawa-sensei?” Hizashi teased him.
He wanted to scoff, but the binding around his neck stopped him from making even the slightest of sounds. It effectively reminded him of why he was there: not for her, but because his beloved student fucked up and somehow wrapped his capture weapon so tightly around his neck that it nearly snapped in two. Like a twig.
“Sensei, I’m so sorry!” Aizawa watched as said student bowed 90 degrees, his whole body shaking. “Shishou told me that my foot hold isn't strong enough yet. I should have listened to her!”
You bet your smartass you should! He thought. Unfortunately, it could only be translated into a sharp glare. He couldn’t even crane his neck without groaning in pain. Pathetic.
“Aizawa Shouta’s number one life lesson is: Sakura is always right. You better drill that into that purple head of yours, Shinsou. Or you might lose your life. Either from missteps or from Sakura herself,” Hizashi explained, finger digging into the crown of Shinsou's head. “I mean, hell. Even I listen to Sakura.”
Shinsou straightened up, his eyes rimmed red. Aizawa felt bad—not really—for letting him try the weapon even though he wasn’t fully ready. He blinked his sympathy away, because he knew, they all knew, that Shinsou didn't have the privilege of taking things slowly. He needed more, he needed the push in order to catch up to class 1-A.
“Shishou would tell you to add more weight, Toshi-nii,” Eri interrupted from her seat on Nemuri’s lap. “She would say, ‘100 laps with the new weight!’”
“That’s a very good rendition of Sakura, Eri-chan. It’s like she’s with us!” Nemuri bounced Eri up and down, and it warmed his heart to see Eri laugh freely.
“Though Shishou would add, ‘Run for your fuck—”
“Ah! Bad words! I’m gonna tell shishou!” Eri said excitedly, finger pointing at the teenager.
“Shut up.” Shinshou leaned toward her across the bed to pinch her cheek.
Aizawa pushed him back when Eri squeaked. He looked at the young boy in warning, watching his cheeks color and eyes widen, if only barely, as though he had forgotten that the rest of his sensei’s body was perfectly functional.
“I’m really sorry, sensei,” he said again, sitting back in his seat with a regretful expression.
This, he thought as he patted the boy's head and gave him a fond smile, this side of him is so Sakura.
“Don’t worry, Shinsou. This is literally nothing,” Nemuri said on his behalf. “He only looks this miserable to get pity from his girlfriend.”
“Yeah. He’s spoiled,” Hizashi added, snickering when Aizawa kicked his ass. “Trust me. He’s one of the toughest men I’ve known. But when Sakura’s around…”
Aizawa covered his face with his hands when the room filled with laughter. He took a peek at Shinsou who was still slouching and looking at him gloomily. Aizawa stretched his hand out, waiting for his student to take it. When Shinsou’s hand—nails chipped and palm blistered, evidence of hard work—found his, Aizawa wrapped it with both his hands, cocooning it.
The action caught Shinsou off guard, and Aizawa chuckled when he noticed that the tips of his ears had reddened in response to the attention. He grinned at him and gave him a thumbs up. I’m alright. It’s okay.
It seemed that Shinsou understood it. He sighed, the tension in his shoulders easing as he smiled back at Aizawa with a nod of understanding.
Aizawa leaned into his pillow, closing his eyes and just quietly enjoying the chit chat around him. He listened as Shinsou opened his can of coffee—Sakura’s favourite brand—and as he breathed in the scent he couldn't help the smile formed on his lips at the realization that his student had picked up one of Sakura's habits.
It calmed him, the reminder that she was here with him in everyone dear to them both. It calmed him.
Tumblr media
He opened his eyes sleepily when he felt cold fingers against his scalp. He reached for her hand, kissing her palm before placing it on his chest.
“What happened?” She asked, her free hand hovering over his neck. Dim green lit up the dark hospital room as she healed him.
Once she was done, Aizawa turned to look at her painlessly, as though he hadn’t almost lost his neck hours ago. He kissed her hand again and rasped, “Just a rookie mistake.”
Sakura chuckled as she pulled her kitsune mask off. He had to reign his heart in before it jumped out at the sight of her smiling at him. The outside light reflected on her green eyes prettily as they roved over his body. “The mark on your neck… He got you with your own weapon, huh?” She teased, leaning down to kiss his forehead. “Sloppy job, Aizawa-sensei.”
“I’m a patient, Sakura. Don’t you have to talk kindly to ease your patient’s worry?” He pulled her for a kiss and smiled when he tasted coffee on her lips. “I missed you.”
“I missed you, too.” She turned the reading light on, ransacking his duffle bag to grab a clean shirt before she took off her black turtleneck. “God, I hate stalking missions the most,” she complained as she pushed her pants down. “Five days of undercover! Urgh!”
“Uh huh.” Aizawa nodded distractingly, enjoying the sway of her ass.
“I just wanna do a clean one, you know? Chop chop.” She straightened up, turning toward him. Her flushed face looked pretty as she smiled at him and said, “So I can get back home to you.”
He swallowed thickly as he gave her a once over; liking the way his shirt hung off her shoulder and fell right below her bum, giving him the best view of her thighs—strong and lean with muscle.
Aizawa offered her his hand, and kissed the back of hers once their palms met. “It’s been five days.”
“Five long days,” she corrected, rolling her eyes as she climbed up the bed and went on four, trapping him beneath her.
Aizawa looked up at her, admiring the fine freckles that scattered on her cheeks. Her pupils seemed to fill her eyes as she focused solely on him. The attention made him jittery with anticipation.
He crossed one arm under his head and hummed in appreciation.
She was perfect. She might be a walking red flag with the way she talked about stalking and murdering people like she was just reciting a boring list of groceries, but she was perfect and his.
Aizawa smirked when she lowered into him, shuddering as he tenderly caressed the softness of her cheek, down her jaw to her chin. And when she got so close that he could smell the sweet, creamy scent of her coffee on her breath, he pushed his thumb between her parting lips.
She was his. She was his and he wanted to taste her.
“It really has been so long,” he whispered.
Sakura sucked his thumb, eyes never leaving him, and let go with a pop. She leaned down to kiss him. Her body completely laxed on top of his before he kissed the temple of her head. “Comfy?”
“Hmm… Scoot over,” Sakura said instead, pushing him with her hips.
“I’m an injured person,” he grumbled, yet he moved to accommodate her. “This bed is for me to rest.”
She wiggled until she found comfort laying sideways facing him. She sighed, long and heavy, and snuggled into him with her head resting comfortably at the junction of his neck.
Aizawa took a moment to pull her close. Her warm breath fanning against his skin was welcomed. Her warmth was a welcome; proof that she was safe with him. He wrapped his arms around her tighter, grateful.
“You’re home.”
She chuckled as she kissed the underside of his jaw. “We’re in your tiny hospital bed, idiot.”
He kissed the top of her head, inhaling the remnant scent of her sweet shampoo. It was all so comforting. “In a hospital bed, on a tree, whatever. As long as we’re together, we’re home.”
She was home.
He chuckled when he felt her lips tickle his neck with a lazy kiss as she sleepily mumbled, “Mhmm. Comfy home,”—she yawned—“You know when you get loopy tired? Yeah. That. I feel like I’m so out of it. Like I’m drunk. I’ve been literally running on adrenaline and coffee since last night.”
“Sleep then,” he said sternly, his hand snuck under her—his—shirt, and roamed freely upon her bare skin. He had missed her. “Have a good rest so you can join my morning run tomorrow. The kids grow so fast it’s fucking insane. Can’t let them outdo their sensei now.”
Sakura giggled, angling her head to catch his lips. “Hmm. I have no complaints. So far your stamina has been amazing.”
“Oh?”
“Mhmm.” Her fingers traced the hardness of his chest down to his abs and stopped right over his waistline. “Especially when you have my legs on your shoulders and you just keep pushing them down and squeezing me? Mhmm.”
“Oh my god!” Shinsou’s panicked scream interrupted their quiet moment. Aizawa sighed and Sakura turned to hide her pink face against his chest, pulling the blanket to cover her exposed legs. He squeezed her waist once before he turned to look at the two kids standing at the doorway.
Eri tugged on Shinsou’s shirt. Her eyebrows furrowed as she disappointedly scolded him, “Toshi-nii. You shouldn’t interrupt when the adults are talking.”
“They’re not talking! They’re smooching!”
“Shinsou,” Aizawa said at the same time as Sakura yelled, “Shut up!”
“What is smooching?” Eri asked, eyes darting between her brother and the two adults.
“Listen,” Shinsou started, squatting down to her eye level, “smooching is when two adults—”
“Shinsou,” Aizawa cut his explanation short. “Be a good brother and don’t teach her unnecessary stuff.”
“But I wanna know,” Eri said, crossing her arms.
Sakura looked up at him, grinning and mouthing, ‘Good luck, daddy.’
He rolled his eyes and kissed her forehead one more time before he waved his hand to call the kids over.
“Smooching, as Shinsou put it, is when two adults show their love for each other,” he answered casually once Eri climbed up the bed. Shinsou took a seat in front of Sakura, greeting her half-heartedly and receiving a pinch on his cheek as a reply.
“Where did you guys go, anyway? It’s late,” he asked, patting Eri’s head. He caught the familiar strawberry smell of her hair and smiled.
“Eri wanted to try the mango juice. The closest vending machine was out of stock so we had to walk to the one at the corner,” Shinsou answered. “Yamada-sensei called. Said his work is almost done and will be picking us up in five.”
“You’re not staying the night?” Sakura asked, leaning over Aizawa to comb Eri’s hair with her fingers. “Do you like the shampoo, Eri-chan?”
“I love it! It’s pink like your hair, shishou!” She nodded in excitement. “Also, Yamada-san said I have a tutor tomorrow morning. So I have to wake up early. Toshi-nii has school, too.”
“Aww. That’s too bad. I missed you guys.” She pouted, her chin resting on his chest. Aizawa placed his hand on her head.
“Yeah nah. Not when you guys are inseparable like this,” Shinsou said, looking at them appalled. “Gross. Eri, get down off the bed. We don’t know what has transpired here.”
“It’s the hospital, Toshi! Have respect!” Sakura turned to him, flicking his forehead. “My god. I leave for five days and you’re already annoying like Shouta.”
“Dead fish eyes,” Eri added, giggling.
“See? Even Eri-chan gets it. Good observation, baby.”
Aizawa relaxed, his hand brushing Sakura’s hair idly. It was weird, having people other than Sakura with him now. It should be weird. But when he watched them teasing and joking together, he realized he wanted more of this.
“You kids ready?” Hizashi called them from the door. “Come. Leave the adults alone. It’s been five unbearable days for Shouta.”
“Shut up,” Aizawa said, rolling his eyes at his friend as he lifted Eri up off the bed and placed her on the floor. “Have a good rest, you two. Thank you for coming.”
“Let’s have dinner this weekend, ‘kay? Hizashi promised me a fancy dinner for being number 51 in the hero rankings.” Sakura sat up and winked at the kids as Hizashi loudly wailed, ‘Noooo!’ “We can have a bubble bath together, Eri-chan!”
A smile quirked the corners of Aizawa’s mouth as Eri ran around to Sakura’s side of the bed, his fingers at the small of Sakura’s back as she got pulled into a hug by Eri’s little arms.
“Yes, please!” Eri said excitedly, laughing happily when Sakura wrapped an arm around her waist and scooped her up for a better hug. “I missed you, shishou. I’m so glad you’re back safe and sound.”
“Awww! Eri-chan!” Sakura peppered the little girl’s face with kisses as she put her back onto the floor. “Now go get a good sleep. Wake up early tomorrow and show the tutor hell!”
“Sakura,” Aizawa warned.
“In a good way! A fiery spirit to learn!” She corrected, trying to placate him by fluttering her eyelashes.
Cute.
“Okay!” Eri said in high spirit, running toward Hizashi. “I’ll show them!”
Shinsou sighed as he stood up, walking backward to the door. “See you soon, shishou. You have a good rest, too. Your eyebags are showing.”
“Shut your smart mouth, Toshi! 100 laps!” She yelled as he turned back, waving his hand cooly at them before he closed the door.
The room quietened down again once they all left. Sakura turned the reading light off and nuzzled into him. “I’m gonna beat his ass, I swear.”
Aizawa laughed, slipping his hand back under her shirt and running his fingers up and down against her back. “Please do. I’m planning to include him in the hero classes joint training next week.”
“Oh? The Principal approved his transfer?”
“Hmm,” he hummed thoughtfully, “Depends on the outcome of the training. I feel like it’s a done deal. Just need to show the heroes that he deserves the transfer, you know?”
“Yeah.” She kissed the side of his neck. “I miss you so much, baby.”
“I miss you, too.” He leaned down to kiss her. “The kids were a big help.”
“Oh?”
“Did you know Shinsou is also addicted to the cheap coffee that you love so much?”
“Really?”
“Yeah.” He chuckled, pulling her close. “It’s weird. But everytime I see him drinking it, it reminds me of you. And somehow, you being away felt a bit, just a little bit, bearable.”
She wiggled up so she could look at him eye to eye. “Yeah?”
“And Eri, too. With her strawberry shampoo,”—Sakura giggled—“very excessive, not gonna lie—”
“A hero with a strong distinctive smell? Tut tut.”
“Not very practical, shishou.” He agreed, joining in her laughter. “It’s familiar. Everything with them is so familiar to me. It’s like you never left. And it calmed me.”
Sakura stared at him in adoration. Her lips slowly stretched into a fond smile. He missed this. A late night that belonged to them alone. A night shared after days apart from each other. He wasn't sure how he'd managed to survive before this. He missed this. He missed her.
“I miss you so much,” he voiced out his thought, “I miss you. And I’m glad we have this small family together.”
She seemed taken aback by the sudden admittance. Her eyes widened and he watched in amusement as her cheeks instantly reddened. She tried to hide under her hair, but Aizawa stopped her.
He brushed the stray locks behind her ear, and wrapped his fingers around her forearm when she tried to hide behind her hand instead. She looked up at him then, gaze wondrous, and he felt his heart beat steadily in his chest as though she alone was responsible for his peace. It was an amusing thought, because she was also responsible for the flurry of emotion that overtook him when she was around.
Her green eyes continued to catch the faint light of his hospital room, twinkling like stars and spurring him to bring her wrist up to his mouth. He kissed her inner wrist before placing her arm on his chest.
"You're beautiful,” he said earnestly, enraptured.
Sakura snorted—pink cheeks and bashful—as she tried to free her hand off him, but he wouldn’t budge. He wouldn’t let go.
“I love you,” he whispered. They had said it to each other so many times, but it never ceased the fluttering feelings in his heart. “I think it’s no secret that I’d love to have this small family with you. Officially.”
“Officially?”
“Yeah.” He leaned into her closer, breathing her in. “You, me, Shinsou, and Eri. Living together in one house. Like a proper family. In Nara. With a small garden so we can spend our days lazing around during summer, eating watermelon. Then at night, we can barbecue. Hizashi will come with beers, and Nemuri can bring some expensive seasonal fruits.”
Sakura chuckled. He wiped a stray tear from the corner of her eye. “You’ve thought about it all, I see.”
“Baby, our future together is all I’ve been thinking about ever since I realized how I’m knee-deep into you.”
“Just knee-deep?”
“Fine,” he smiled, sleepily and fondly as he continued to admire her. “I’m up to my fucking eyeballs.”
She smiled back at him, kissing the tip of his nose. “You’re supposed to catch villains, Eraserhead-san. Not feelings.”
“Eh.” He shrugged and kissed her eye. “Caught and never letting you go.”
“God, you’re a sap,” she teased, laughing when he peppered her face with kisses. “So annoying!”
He pulled back, smiling stupidly when Sakura rolled her eyes before giving him a long kiss and muttered against his lips, “Thank you.”
“For what?” He asked, sighing in contentment when she kissed him again.
“For this life,” she said, “for taking care of me, staying by my side.” He leaned into her touch when she placed her hand on his cheek. “For giving me a family.
“I think,” she inhaled whilst he held his breath, “I think I’d like that. Being official and all.”
“Yeah?” He whispered. His hand was trembling when he pulled her impossibly closer, resting his forehead on hers. “You’d like that? Living the rest of your life with me and the two annoying kids?”
“Yeah.”
“Yeah?”
“Shouta.” She laughed wetly. Aizawa smooshed her cheeks together and watched as she tried her best to hold her tears back. “I’d love to spend my future with you. Honestly, just look at today. I’ve only been away for five days and you already had your neck snapped by your own kid. Really, Shouta. What would you do without me?”
“I’d die,” he said, grinning like a cat. “I guess it’s only logical, huh?”
“Mhmm. It’s only wise. So,” she smiled and his heart soared, “I guess it’s decided.”
He kissed her. He kissed her over and over again until they both were covered with tears and snots and nothing but pure happiness and love.
He loved her. And it was so familiar that it felt like he had been in love with her since the moment he’d seen her: for six years, seven months, and 24 days. Maybe he had. Maybe he hadn’t. But one thing he was sure about was that he would kill to protect their future together. Villains or not.
Yeah, he thought, we’ll be alright.

the lack of bakugou & all might just honestly baffles me. Bakugou is one of the most popular characters in bnha (and bringing back ao3, has 111,912 works tagged with him. Some are probably Baku bashing fics and some probably only have him as a minor character, but that still is a lot) and all might is one of the most important relationship he has (top 3 even). He based his entire idea of heroism around toshi! He had a breakdown about all might! He literally named himself dynamight! Even it was all one sided it's so heavy on baku side you would expect more exploration
Statically it doesn't make any sense
It is indeed odd, I agree. Personally I don't terribly like Bakugo as a character and I've read, uh, exactly 1 Bakugo-centric fic since I joined the fandom, so I have no idea what the people who like him make of him in fic... I can only hazard a few guesses as to why that is the case if I try to imagine the problems I would run into while trying to write one such fic.
For me, I think the biggest problem would be that... Bakugo would be an exceedingly difficult character to write. He has been a vicious bully for most of his life, and still is for most of the series. His attitude is relentlessly contemptible, not only towards Izuku but as a hero in general, yet the whole narration seems biased towards playing it off for laughs or as something not as bizarre or worrying. Not a single teacher ever seriously confronts him or punishes him for that, neither do any of the students. I would not quite know what to do with this fact, short of overhauling the entire characterization of everyone around him for him to face some actual consequences, or at least be forced into counseling or something.
Because of this, All Might's attitude would be equally difficult to imagine. Would he take a harsher stance towards such unheroic behavior? Would he be tolerating, even when his own successor suffers so openly about it?
I understand the appeal of wanting to write such stories from Bakugo's point of view - there's indeed plenty to explore there with such a, uh, complex personality to unravel. But the other side of the equation, All Might, remains a mystery to me in that context. Throughout the entire story his lenience and tolerance of Bakugo kept puzzling me. Bakugo straight-up disobeyed his order not to fire the first huge blast during the first combat lesson, and got away with it scot-free. His attitude remained abysmal during the final exam, physically attacking his own teammate and putting up an obscene amount of resistance to the most basic cooperation. Again, he faces no negative consequence for that. What I have always considered one-sided, vicious bullying, is immediately interpreted by All Might (and other characters) as rivalry, although a somewhat twisted version of it. I genuinely don't know what to make of any of it, and if I don't understand a dynamic between two characters, I would have no hope to be able to write it.
I can only assume that the lack of fics on the matter is a sign that many other people in the fandom are equally confused, and equally unable to come up with stories to fit and enrich the dynamic.

@unitedsmash  asked: and a 👁ϟ from toshi. you know I had to
Send 👁ϟ for your muse to catch a glimpse of one of my muse’s scars!
Perhaps he hadn’t thought things through, in the spur of the moment. Rolling up his sleeves as he got to work fixing up the leak that Toshinori had been complaining about for hours. His fault, really, for insisting that his friend hadn’t need call for a repair man when he’d be more than happy to attend to it for free. For spending so much of his time in an office buried beneath paperwork, the detective had a shockingly versatile set of skills.
Though none that would prepare him for the startled look when he emerged victorious from beneath the cabinet, arms bared where they never once had been before. It took a long moment for him to even realize what the problem could be, and his face blanched in a matter of seconds.
Tumblr media
“ . . . I never told you about these, did I . . .” A horrid amount of the space up and down his arms had been covered in jagged lines, sliced through seemingly at random, no true direction or decisive purpose to them. Pain inflicted, perhaps a lesson meant to be learnt, but one that’d clearly been lost on its victim. Burns to join in short order, the tiniest little things peppered beneath his shoulders. Out of place amongst the rest, as if they’d come at very different points in his life.
As if they were both relics of the past, and ones he’d never had the intention of digging back up again. “They’re from a very long time ago. If ah. If it’s any comfort to you.” Fidgeting with the edges of those sleeves, though he couldn’t truly cover everything up now. “The ones responsible aren’t really around anymore . . . ”

hq boys “teaching” you how to kiss
Tumblr media
feat. atsumu miya + ushijima wakatoshi + suna rintarou + akaashi keiji
warnings ; kissing ? explainable
notes ; toshi’s big hands aaaa
Tumblr media
+ATSUMU never imagined himself to have you sitting in his lap, wrapped around his finger so languidly. well, that is what his kind took this situation as, while you on the other hand wanted to get this memorable lesson over with. especially because of his insistent teasing. “you really came to me ? it must mean because i’m pretty good huh.” and that quirk of his thick brows, irritating to an incurable degree. “no. you’re just my boyfriend, it’d be wrong if i did it with anyone else.” his face turned flat. “oh right.” then lighting up, he beckoned you closer. “so just kiss ? like you said ?” you muttered, narrowing your eyes at his lips. “mhmm, ill guide you from there.” — “alright.” and so you did, till you both became a frantic mess of breath, well, until he was satisfied.
Tumblr media
+USHIJIMA throughout his life was characterized as extremely strong of powerful. to you this never seemed to get old, thanks to the difference of how he was with you. and don’t get me wrong, he was still extremely powerful and strong. but maybe the way he would caress you skin, ushering you to close your eyes when you fell asleep each night, like some sort of rare porcelain doll. comedic almost, but adorable. “you want me to teach you how to kiss ?” you nodded your head fervently, patting the stool on front of you which the ace heftily became seated upon. “i can’t say i’ll be any better than you but i can try.” large, stable fingertips grasping you waist. the way he kissed reminded you of a frank sinatra song, fly me to the moon was it ? like honey or syrup dripping off each syllable he spoke. enchanting.
Tumblr media
+SUNA could not be more smug about this ordeal. he was quick to oblige, eagerly scooting to hop into bed with you. all curled up like a spoiled tabby cat. “but i have one condition-“nah nah. conditions are no fun, who needs requirements anyways, let’s just make out.” you groaned, rubbing your temples. “thats the thing, i need you to teach me.” his lips parted momentarily, only to close with thought. “ah.. alright then, just close your eyes and go with the flow until you get it, let me take the lead.” like usual occasions, a heated make-out pursued, but suna kept his promise with ‘leading’ you. pointing out mistakes and things that he found unnecessary to make the event more enjoyable to the both of you. smirking so proud when he separated to find you out of breath. i mean you looked so cute, how could he not love it ?
Tumblr media
+AKAASHI had his eyes trained upon the pages of “the strange case of dr. jekyll and mr. hyde” by robert louis stevenson, apparently entranced by the ‘late night’ chapter he’d been droning on and on about while cooking with you. “hey keiji, could you teach me how to kiss ?” touching your lips with a finger, you quickly became amused at his dark eyebrows lifting comically up to his forehead, face flushing just like it has many times before. “you-me-teach to kiss ?” he stammered, giving you the ‘is this a joke ?’ by akaashi keiji look ( he definitely rocked that look ). “yes, unless you don’t want to.” you clicked your tongue plopping down beside him. “i mean .. yes. i don’t mind, it’s just kind of unexpected.” a smile pulled at his lips, holding a fond look at you. “now come here, ill be gentle i promise.” featherlight touches and words of praise ricocheted through you, sending you into the clouds. he’s something else.

43. “That was the worst joke I’ve ever heard.” w Gran Torino and Toshinori? (Maybe it’s Toshinori trying to laugh off Torino’s reference to… past exploits… and Torino is like, “No, that absolutely happened.”)
For Toshinori's 18th birthday, Nana had poured him a drink.
It tasted awful, but Toshinori just knew Gran Torino was waiting for him to spit it out, so he didn't.
"I've tasted worse. Like your hair." He said instead, and Nana laughed.
Nana laughed a lot that night, they all did. He heard more out of Torino in that night than he had for the four years prior, and Nana even shared some of her own stories too.
Toshinori was buzzing with the cheer around their little kitchen table.
And then the tables turned.
"So, guess which of his classmates is the newest one to develop the poor taste of a crush on this one?" Torino gestured to Toshinori.
Nana hummed- she'd been his homeroom teacher the last two years, before Torino took over this year so she could focus on the agency and All For One's people.
"Hmm," She mused, "I always felt like Kensaki would, just eventually."
"Master!" Toshinori protested. "He's joking, none of my classmates like me like that. Half of them are still busy getting over their crushes on you."
The second part slipped out, and he wanted to hide his face.
Torino huffed. "He's not wrong that those brats would trade an hour of my lessons for a glimpse of you, but Shimura, he's just oblivious about the rest. Not that I can blame him, I'd be happy to know all those teenagers didn't have such tastes."
Toshinori wasn't sure which part was supposed to offend him more, but they were both managing to.
"Now, Sorahiko, you can't say anything about anyone's taste." Nana chided.
"I can."
"People who've frenched All For One can't say anything about anyone's taste, that's the rule." Nana repeated, then cackled as Torino groaned.
Toshinori stared.
Was that supposed to be a joke?
"That was the worst joke I've ever heard." He said, then finally finished the last of his glass. It still didn't taste any better, but he kinda wanted to ask for a refill.
"Oh, Toshi, it wasn't a joke." Nana shook her head.
"On the contrary, my life is the joke." Torino protested.

Live In Nanny Pt 2
Villain!All Might x Reader
All Might raising baby Deku but is in desperate need of a nanny (Pt 2). The morning after and basically wayyyy to long so the smut is gonna have to be in pt 3. (word count: a little over 2k)
pt 1 here
TW: Yandere themes, day after dub con, reader is held against their will
You were sore. Your hips, wrists, back, pussy, everything ached. A silky sheet was the only thing covering your bare form. You could feel that you were alone in bed, Toshi's bulkiness was no longer weighing down the mattress. It must be mid morning because light was streaming through the curtains. Maybe if you remained still you could absorb into the mattress. Not only because of your tender body, but because you would prefer to never see your boss again. But speak of the devil. "Are we staying in bed all day?" You groaned. Hating how he worded his question. We. It was condescending, patronizing, and somehow filled you with butterflies. Something was placed on the bed, definitely not heavy enough to be Toshi. And then you realized, not something but a tiny someone. Baby Izuku crawled over to you, babbling, and tapped your sore shoulder. "Morning, Zuzu," You mumbled. Your joints crackled to life and you tightened the covers so you could face the little one. Behind him the clock read 11:00 am. "I need to get dressed." The villain cocked his head, "I tossed your clothes in the laundry do you want me to go get something from your closet?" No, you didn't want him running through your belongings. He would probably make a mess. "Just give me one of your shirts." That provided you enough modesty to get to your room and you were surprised the menace didn't follow. You scrubbed your body raw under the shower, subconsciously punishing yourself for taking pleasure from the night before. You were frustrated. Clean and covered in giant sweat pants and a hoodie you stormed into the living room where Toshi sat watching izuku entertain himself. "I quit." There was a pause. You tried not to look at the child. He would sway your resolve. This didn't have anything to do with him, it was between you and his father. "Alright." Oh. He wasn't going to challenge you? Figures, the man got what he wanted from you. You turned on your heels and rushed back to your room. You didn't own much so it wasn't hard to shove your belongings back into the suitcase. Opening your bedside drawer you froze. Your keys and phone were missing. This was their spot. The dedicated key-and-phone drawer. You check the room once, twice, then Izuku's room, the playroom, the kitchen. "Where are my keys?" You hissed, to hell with the phone you could buy a replacement. "Why would you need those," His voice was taunting. You felt your fists ball up and your nails dug into your palms. You stomped your foot like a frustrated child. "Because I'm leaving, I quit, now give me my keys." "I agreed you can quit, if that's what makes you feel better. I didn't say anything about leaving." The tension could be cut with a knife. He wasn't speaking or moving, he was eerily looming. In the other room Izuku was getting fussy. It knotted your stomach not going to check on him, but you kept your eyes on the villain. Toshinori was the first one to move, he went to check on his son. Clearly you weren't a threat. You could do without the keys, even sacrifice your suitcase. You made it all the way to the front door where you expected him to be, but he wasn't. He was with Izuku. With a twist at the knob the door didn't budge. You tried once more before angrily shaking the door. All Might called for you, "I told you that you aren't leaving. It's a two way security system but feel free to keep trying." When did he install this? You didn't see anything obvious like a box or camera indicating a security system. You could've thrown a fit or tried to break open the window but you had a feeling you wouldn't make it far. "What are you getting at?" You asked, rejoining the father-son duo. "Nothing aside from what we discussed last night in bed," he was making your cheeks burn red. "Making sure we stay a happy family." By the tone of his voice you knew there was no room for discussion. He didn't chastise you for slamming the door your room. He didn't pester you through out the day. He didn't even open your door to tell you he made dinner. He came by later to tell you (through the door) that he left you a plate in case you get hungry. By midnight you were. You tip toed down the hall, peeking into to the nursery to see Izuku fast asleep. You scarfed down the food before crawling back to bed. --- The next day you shuffled out of bed and into Izuku's room where you picked up the quiet but awake baby. You were gentle as you combed through his green curls with your fingers. He was still warm the way babies gets when they sleep. Holding him soothed you. Toshi melted when he saw you two curled up on the couch. He didn't want to ruin the mood so he stayed out of your line of sight for a few more minutes. Finally he entered the threshold of the room, "I'm heading out for the day but I won't be out late." You could've ignored him, but Izuku's grubbing hands were grabbing for his daddy. You had been defeated by the toddler. You weren't a monster. You moved toward your now ex-employer so he could tell his son goodbye. Goodbye before he goes off to commit atrocities. Toshi kissed the child’s chubby cheeks without removing him from your arms. He was too close for comfort. You took an awkward half step back before his huge hand caught your hair. With a tug, your chin jutted forward and he pressed his lips to yours. "Zuku, keep an eye on mommy," Chuckling as he stepped out the front door. Your mind was fuzzy for a moment before looked down at the boy on your hip who was giggling and clapping his hands together. --- The jovial villain was focused at work. He was on edge, quiet and irritable. Eager to return home and help you with his son. All Might wasn't delusional — well at least not entirely. He anticipated that this would be a rough time for you, but you were a good girl, you would adjust.
When he placed that ad to scout for someone to watch Izuku he didn't plan for this. But you were so perfect. He ached for you in a way he never hurt before. Had you been anyone else he would've killed you when you found out his villainous ways. But no, he could never bring himself to harm you. God, you even took the news in stride. Yeah, you weren't thrilled and may have walked out of their lives if he hadn't stopped you; but you weren't trashing his house or treating Izuku any differently.
And you were so pretty underneath him, whimpering while you took his length, your nails digging into the man's shoulders when he released into you. You slept like a rock afterwards, rolling unconsciously into him. Your body sought his comfort, knowing you were safe with him. He just needed to give you time to adjust.
--- It didn't take long for you to stop leaving the room any time he entered. And soon you were back to your normal routine of caring for the child and keeping up with the house. You resumed playing around with Izuku and began reading a ton of books to the boy. You told Toshi that Izuku could even pick which books he wanted you to read. It was nice that you were talking to him again, sometimes making jabs at his life choices and always kept a distance between yourself and him. Izuku was becoming quite the talker, well the babbler because he hasn't said his first word yet. He was figuring it out though. He knew he could say 'Ap-ap' for apple or to get picked up. You were sure he would say his first word any day. --- The three of you were in the living room when it happened. Izuku was watching some baby show, the first "lesson" was colors and the little one did his best to make nonsensical noises. The next subject was family members. Siblings, sister, brother. Parents. Mom, mommy, mama. Dad, daddy, papa. Grandma, grandpa. Aunt, auntie. Uncle. Over and over again until the show was done. Toshi looked at the izuku who was wearing the face of a thinker. He looked at his dad, the little one was trying to get something of importance out. You both cheered for him once he finally got out the word "papa." It was cute to see the man beam with pride, even though he was a villain. The butterflies were breaking out of their cocoons again. --- Toshi didn't get much alone time with his son and he liked it that way. That meant you were with them. But when he did get time with son he worked on teaching the boy that you were the mommy. Mama. And Izuku would try to repeat but hadn’t quite got it. --- You were struggling to maintain your composure in between watching the news and cooking dinner. All Might was robbing a bank. There were hostages. You recognized the location immediately as a bank you passed almost daily before working for Toshinori. Did you know anyone inside? A small part of you worried for the man, probably because you were thinking of him as Izuku's father rather than a villain. You shut the TV off when you heard Izuku start to wake from his nap.
That night you couldn't help but notice a slice on his arm; it was superficial, not even bleeding but enough to draw out the question: Why do you do it? It's easy, he shrugged. All Might never initiated an attack unprovoked nor directed his actions towards helpless civilians. He stole, dabbled in the black market, and made sure everyone knew not to mess with him or anyone in his circle.
You just couldn't understand. When Zuku gets older he will ask questions. All little boys idolize their dads. What if someone tried to hurt the boy?
The two of you were whisper yelling with each other. You more so than Toshi but he was still running low on patience; it had been a long day, after all. Izuku was picking up on the changing atmosphere, watching you both through furrowed brows, the quiver in his lip worsening. You stopped when you heard the whimpering begin. He was a sensitive child. Maybe you just needed to sleep. Toshi picked up the baby, bouncing Zuku in the way that always prevented tantrums and wails. He kept babbling and you could tell he was doing his best not to cry. You started to head towards your room when a cry broke out for 'mama.' This time it wasn't Toshi “putting you in your place”. This time it was Izuku.
"It's okay, Zuzu," Toshi soothed. "Mommy just needs a minute."
The crushing realization of just how trapped you were knocked the wind out of you. You couldn't leave the house. Toshi was always being too kind and patient. Somehow he managed to teach Izuku that you were his mommy. The most infamous villain had ensnared you and no matter what he wasn’t letting go. You would never be able to convince him to leave you alone and you'd never be able to leave Izuku.
You were tired of stubbornly holding out. Pathetic tears cascaded down your face, gentle and oddly relieving. Izuku practically leapt into your arms. The tot clung to you and his crying calmed down. you turned away, not able to look at the man.
"Are you going to think the worst of me forever?" Toshinori whispered. Maybe? Probably not. It was hard to tell. You didn't want to.
He continued, "I'm a good father, I would never let anyone hurt Izuku. Or you. Sure I don't have a lot of redeeming qualities but there are some."
You were tired of being stuck inside. It wasn't good for Izuku either. You wouldn't admit it but you weren't so sure you would abandon them even if given the chance. You were tired of trying to hate the man behind you. Tired of pretending you didn't fantasize about that night when you were alone in bed. Toshi moved right behind you and you relaxed against his huge chest. He was surprised and hesitant to move in case he frightened you to your senses. He couldn't just stand there though, that would be weird. Two thick arms wrapped around waist. "Tomorrow I wanna take Izuku to the park," You whispered. Toshi was equally defeated.
"Okay."
---
After putting Izuku to bed you made your way down the hall. The shower in Toshinori's bathroom was running. That was fine. You needed a moment to collect your thoughts. If this was going to work without you feeling like a hostage he was going to have to be open to loosing the reigns.
He was surprised to see you in his room when he exited the bathroom in nothing more than a pair of sweatpants.
"More fighting?" He cocked an eyebrow.
You shook your head, "I hate All Might, just as much as I hate every other villain. But when you come home I don't see All Might, I just see Toshinori, Izuku's dad. That's the man I care about and no matter how much I fight it I can't stop caring."
It was hard to keep eye contact with him but you continued, "I want to be with you and Izuku, not with All Might. And I want to be here on my own accord. I want to be able to go out with Izuku and with you. Can't we just try that?"
You didn't come in here to berate him again? Or to demand to leave? His heart softened as he realized that the person he wanted, wanted him back. You were willing to remain in their lives.
"I can try that."
Toshi trained his eyes on your body, fighting every instinct to close the space between. But you moved first, gingerly placing your hand on his shoulder to steady yourself as you straddled his lap.
"Can I sleep in here tonight? I want you to hold me," You whispered.
He nodded and rested his forehead against the crook of your neck. "Is that all you want from me tonight?"
