I Am An Addict.

When you read the title, what popped in your mind? Drugs? Alcohol? No, I am referring to the worst kind of addiction anyone can have. You see, addiction comes in various forms, some people are addicted to caffeine, some to alcohol etc. but I am addicted to Negativity.

Now mind this why consider it as the worst kind of addiction, that is because once you become too comfortable in acknowledging the negative side of every situation, it is like a quicksand. After a certain time, you do it involuntarily. Negative thoughts keep growing roots inside your mind, altering your mindset , altering your lifestyle, altering your body, finally consuming you as a whole.

It robs you of your strength, your ability to think, ultimately making you vulnerable to depression.

Nobody wants to live a life in constant sulking. I said it was a quicksand, but as you know with the right technique and direction we can break free from its grab.

How can we do this? 

If you wonder my opinion, writing and reading novels helped me. Find the things that make you happy and then do it. Taking care of oneself isn’t selfish, it is what you deserve. Try as hard as possible to see the brighter side. When those negative thoughts throws you a “What if I couldn’t” attitude, punch them back with “What if I could”. 

Believe it would happen for you. Believe in it and then stride towards it and you will have a cure for this addiction. I know I do believe in it and I can feel I am recovering. You will too.💜✨

you know, life will only get better if you put in the effort. You can’t lie on your bed, stare at the ceiling and complain that your life is terrible. Okay, you can do it, but it won’t get you anywhere. You have to understand that life is beautiful in all its diversity, so try to become a part of it. Get up. I believe in you. It’s going to be fine, you can just try it, right? Well, go ahead. Do your life, but please don’t waste it.

Tumblr is way too damn positive sometimes. 

I do not need to hear how “i am worth something” and “I am loved”. Fact is I am alone in a room with nobody to contact. And I have lived 24 years to know now nothing is going to get magically better and I will have to overcome my damn asocialness to even remotely achieve anything. Which will make me cry a lot. A thing I can’t deal with at the moment, but at the same time I can’t really handle this loneliness. So here i am writing on an internet website.

Went on a vacation this weekend, it was magical. Anything with the outdoors and it gets my blood rushing more than anything else in this world. I love the feel of the sun on my skin and the smell of the hot crisp air. The bright green trees start to become mesmerizing as you drive by, and you cant help but love the life around you and thank earth for such beauty. I’m learning there is more to life than the days I have lived and the things I have seen and I want to experience them. Everyone should. Life has so many things to offer.

In day to day life also we meet different different type of peoples who all may have their own inflence on us. In case of any relationship also you may find the person who gives u lots of care, love nd attention , respect etc etc, what we really want from a person, on instant basis, but by the time all that energy in relation flews away like a buttwrfly..such people we cn compare with the coffee….

so find the people like tea… who gives u wht ever u wnt from an ideal person slowly slowly but a with a permanant energy and affection lasts long with such person.

Depression - It’s a feeling where a person looses his or her control over sadness. It’s a deep feeling where a person circulates the bad moments or memories again and again which makes them loose, the current scenario of their life. They get this void feeling and rejected feeling where they don’t know how to over come it nor how to handle it when they are a lost soul.

When a person has depression they take hasty decisions and sometimes have suicidal thoughts. Having such thoughts are vulnerable and dangerous that is why, a depressed person might have to meet a therapist. A therapist might help the depressed person over come his/her sad feelings and help them rejoice their moments and life too.

When do you think you have depression. Is that a genetic disease or something? The answer is NO. Having depression is created by a human being themselves when they try to hide their emotions, hide their feelings etc.

So it’s simple isn’t it be open so that you won’t be depressed. Wrong. Just because someone is open, shares everything with their friends and knows how to tackle an issue, doesn’t mean he/she cannot be depressed.

It’s a feeling where you become sad or upset over a moment, person or situation or what ever. Sometimes you might open up sharing what’s tingling your heart and sometimes, you don’t like sharing it.

When the “don’t” part comes up and when more of those emotions are piled up, you end up depressed. Now thinking what could be the solution and how to handle depression.

Well, I’m not a therapist but I can share my experience on depression and how I over came and how am I today.

I’m a short tempered person and stil I’m. I expect a lot from my loved ones and when it doesn’t happen, i end up being depressed. For longer time, I myself didn’t know that I was depressed but after some time when I discovered that I was this person I’m changing into which I never wanted too, that is when I realised, I was depressed.

I did undergo a therapist but it wasn’t helpful that much because the ideas my therapist gave me to change was making me feel more depressed. One fine day, I said enough is enough and I need to change myself and be normal. I started spending more time enjoying my moments, was carefree (do what ever I felt doing), I even went for a trekking and I did yoga and all these made me feel that I should give some Me Time where I don’t give a damn about what others think, what others say instead i should do few things to recharge my battery.

Indeed that helped me. After I started to turn to who I was earlier, few clouds that hid my eyes made clear vision and I started to focus on the purpose of my life.

I’m not saying what ever I did would help another person come out of depression. I’m just saying, be open, give some Me Time and yes there will be a way to destroy the depression rather than dying!
