Hiromi Saruya x BABY - Ribbon Summer Dress Set
This one-of-a-kind dress and full bonnet-cap by Hiromi Saruya collaborating with BABY, the Stars Shine Bright was never released for commercial sale. It was designed as a stage-costume for the 2002 movie, Kamikaze Girls.
The set is likely lost in circulation, either in the possession of a second-hand vintage shop, prop and costume storage, or private owner.

Heckin wimby.
Wondercult meetup yesterday. I was meant to wear Wonder Card in ivory but alas, the hem circumference of the old ladder lace OP is a little on the small side, so I need to acquire a second for a properly satisfying remake. So instead I opted for Meta’s Wonder Silhouette, which I honestly don’t wear out enough. (Get it? Wonder + Meta?? I was still on theme okay.)
I’ll be in Japan from June 29th-August 15th. I’ve got a few things planned and booked but mostly I’ll be shopping and hopping around to cool cafes, museums, and so on. I’m very excited.

JSK is Meta; kumya is BtSSB; blouse is Sakurada Fawn; headbow is Café Society; socks are Sweet Mildred; shoes are Bodyline; parasol is Whale Island; accessories are Vivienne Westwood, Magical Mews, and handmade.

Day 3 - Lolita 52 Challenge - What my own lolita lifestyle is like?
I've been working a ton lately so I've been able to afford a lot of pieces! I dress in lolita daily, and own very few other clothes. I'm still a student so I'm not in a place where I can decorate my room to reflect my lifestyle or own things like a silly tea set, but I hope to one day get there!
Recently I've been helping some friends and mutual friends of mine get into the fashion, even if I'm not an expert. It means the world to me that I can now share my hobby with others. I don't interact with comms or anything because I'm very anxious of other lolitas but hopefully I'll be able to break out of my shell for that!

Thanksgiving week coords. Most of these were work coords, but tbh all of them could be.
I re-wore Paris Princess Drop today because we were moving around a lot and it’s got good pockets.
I do own other blouses and shoes. These are just comfortable and rinse well for re-wears. I’m really vibing with 2007-2009 or so at the moment.

Lolita 52 Challenge
Bringing this back for some nostalgia when I first found egl!
Day 1 - 5 pieces every lolita wardrobe should have!
1- Obviously, a petticoat. Bell-shaped tends to work with more dresses regardless of your sub-style. (Don't wear a bell-shaped petticoat underneath an a-line skirt and vice versa though!)
2- Shoes that don't fuck up your feet and go with everything! A nice comfy pair of platforms in your chosen colour go a long way, especially if you're wearing it more days than not!
3- Warmer socks. I can't stress this enough, as someone who primarily owns fishnet or thinner socks and tights, having a couple pairs of thick socks or some lined leggings can really help when it's freezing out.
4- A decently sized bag that works with everything! Not having something cute to carry everything you need in is a huuuuuge pain. A big enough bag in a core colour of white, black or pink will be your best friend! Nothing's worse than having to use a mismatched bag or sacrifice your belongings in the name of coordination!
5- Something easily washable to go under your blouse and dress. A chemise or undershirt, or even underarm pads can be your saving grace both for sweat in the summer and staying warm in the winter.
