Feeling very festive and homey after I made my first ever gingerbread house… basically stayed up all night playing pc and now it’s past 4am and I prepared a broth, so I can have soup before lunch. Maybe I do actually get into a christmas mood this year.

I always feel like homemade food is so cozy and special during this time of year. All the dishes have such a rich flavor and it all takes it’s time and you need to be patient, but you are looking forward to the result and the house smells so amazing. This feels like a small moment of happiness for me.

I know that outside my little bubble, everything looks a lot more grim. But I think because of that it’s especially important to appreciate these little moments even more.

Morning you beautiful little goblins! I hope everyone is doing well. Just posting this to give some updates about my life and where I'm at with writing. 🥰

Firstly, I just realized I've hit over 200 followers. Like what?! Thank you all so much! You've all been amazing with your support and feedback, and that brings me comfort and warmth. ❤️

Secondly, I know I'm a little slower with posting stories, I just simply have a lot happening in my life at the moment dealing with way too many different things, and for some reason I just can't stop myself or slow down. My own fault. 😅

Thirdly, I'm wanting to try and make a few writing changes with my stories. As much as I do love and enjoy the style, I do miss the darkness. With my remaining requests I'll see if I might be able to do this, just to spice things up. I also currently have way too many WIP's sitting around that I want to work on and I will eventually once requests are completed. 👍

Hello everyone! Today I reached 100 followers on here (which is insane to me) so I shall celebrate this momentous occasion by actually going through all the stuff I've been tagged in and getting shit done lol I have some extra time for this weekend and I'm not completely devoid of a will to live. We do have some open houses to go to on Saturday so I'm looking forward to that!

Also here is my new kitten Ivan!! He's just over 3 months old, we found him under our house with his 5 siblings. He was the runt of the litter and barely fit in my hand but now he's an absolute gremlin who attacks my ankles given the chance. Do not be fooled by his appearance.

On June 3rd my boyfriend of 6 years asked me to marry him!!! Finally! This has been so long coming and I won’t lie, I was NOT waiting patiently, lol. But I’m so happy now that I get to marry my absolute best friend in the world. We are getting married September of next year and I am so excited! It’s gonna be a Harry Potter themed wedding! Doodle Diary: pg2 | 9/28

It's been a hot minute...

Now that I'm more situated in my career, I do feel more relaxed at work out of my home than in it now. The adjustment has gone smoother but weirder than expected and I'm at the point where I feel like two different people depending on what day of the week it is and where I am. Monday, I got up earlier than I was supposed to and super productive in preparation for teaching the next day, this morning I had to lie in bed an extra 30 minutes because I just could-not. I manage to make time for work and art but not as much as I'd like for silly doodles so I had to treat myself today (Princess Peach looking EMACULATE in her new wardrobe.)

I know it'll definitely help if I can make entries to take a quick break as often as possible so I hope for any eyes on this you'll have just a little patience...and that you'd also like to come to my Community Discord stream event this Saturday night! Come and demand more Princess Peach art from me, please. :) We'll be watching the latest entry of DrawCast too.

Inexplicable posting anxiety

I'm so used to Twitter where the algorithm wouldn't show my posts to people who didn't want to see it, now I'm here and I want to share worldbuilding loredumps or character bios or shit like that and I keep thinking "man, no one wants to see that." But then also "why would people follow me if they didn't want to see it?"

So I guess this is to say that my account is primarily going to be about my own writing and lore about my fantasy world. Follow if you're into that? I will occasionally post about video games, anime, or the books I'm reading. Maybe I'll post whatever else is on my mind.

i'm in seattle rn with my siblings. met someone pretty cool, hope it works out with them. even considering heavily moving to follow them which may or may not be the best idea. i mean, i already got a job offer there, it feels right. hoping my life becomes so very beautiful.

Trying to Get into Writting Mode....

The week has been full on, but I finally have a day to myself, and I would love to focus on writing. Its having the motivation and inspiration that's the hard part as well, not just time.

Will see how I go today and I'm sorry for the delays for completing requests, was hoping to have more finished by now, but slowly getting there steps at a time.

Needing to search for the smuttiest, sluttiest prompts and ideas for each so I'm not just repeating the same thing over again. Lately I've been into breeding kinks, and eager to discover more within the darkness.

🌻Morning routine & mixed feelings✨

Today, I feel hopeful and excited.

I have been on a rollercoaster the past few weeks - with some big wins, confusion, pressure from every side, support from unexpected people, roaming directionless, and also good guidance. It was such a mixed feeling - being not able to celebrate my wins, trying not to get too excited, and at the same time working to make that dream true.

I know I am being cryptic but bear with me. I have something big coming up and you guys will be first to know when it actually happens. ❤️

Right now I am preparing for that Big Thing, and building my reading/writing habit is the first thing I am doing. Reading journal articles is such a soothing activity for me and it also gets my brain working. So I have chosen to do that first thing in the morning, every day.

The night before, I select an article to read in the morning and I try to finish the AIC - Abstract, Introduction, and Conclusion - within my one-and-a-half-hour reading time. If that paper is interesting and if it looks relevant to my study, I will bookmark it and spend more time on it. And because of that, I won't be able to read one paper every day (which is actually the goal). But, no perfectionism. Go with the flow. Right?

Do you guys have a similar morning routine? I would love any tips on how to keep this up in the long run - any advice is welcome!❤️⬇
