Can’t believe they had Luz rise from the dead the night before Easter.
As a Christian TOH fan it just tickles me.

King sees his sister alive, but not just that. Just think - she looks like him. All this time, never knowing where he came from, and then when he found out, he learns all of his kind are dead.
But now Luz has a form unmistakably reminiscent of his own species. The same claws and horns and fluffiness he has. She may not be a true Titan, but this is the closest he’s ever seen to someone like him, alive, with the full beauty and power of his kind and their magic. Her body is glowing with the magical language of his father.
He thought he lost his sister, but now, she returns with a kinship to him even stronger. She is connected to him through the love they share and through the gift of his father. The true majesty of his species he thought he would never get to see, now in front of him. No wonder his eyes sparkle like that.

thinking about how luz was the light the boiling isles needed. not only is it literally her name, but it’s the first spell she learned how to “communicate” with the titan. and it’s the spell that was able to wake everyone up from their nightmares and the puppet spell. it’s the spell that got rid of that god-awful belos goop. she’s the light.

Remember how they pointed out that Palistrom wood was becoming rarer? Because Belos kept over harvesting it and not giving it time to grow back?
The University’s tree is blue. Its a big ass Palistrom tree

This is probably Too Niche, but to the vivid dreamers out there: do you ever get nostalgic for a place from your dreams that isn't real? I have recurring locations in my dreams that just. don't exist. And I find myself thinking about them or having "memories" about them even though they don't exist and never have. But they're real in my heart even though I'll never go there.
(tell me about these places in the tags, I'm so curious)

Just me being normal about the Owl House trailer that dropped.
But like for real, if Amity said that one line in Spanish across all airings of the show, that would be one of the best ways to bring everything back around. Like, learning your girlfriend's language and then using it at the darkest hour to motivate her? Ten times cooler if she said just three words:
"enciende la luz".
I know no one's ever gonna see this, but just imagine if we got this kinda thing on Disney. Especially after she told her parents to "stay away from [her] Luz." The opportunity is right there. Let's hope it gets seized.

I noticed something about this scene. Yes, the Collector got the idea of kindness and forgiveness from Luz, and he is so excited to show her how well he learned, but that’s not the only reason he wants to forgive Belos.
Belos was his only friend for 400 years.
We know how manipulative Belos is, he has the ability to know exactly how to tell people what they want to hear, so the Collector probably ADORED Belos during all of their time in the mirror. In the Collector’s eyes, Belos was truly their friend. Sure, he lied in the end, sure he betrayed them, but in their mind Belos’s betrayal probably felt the same as King’s betrayal. Belos is probably just lonely too.
And Luz is Goddamniting so hard because Belos is going to destroy this child and it’s all because she had to go and teach him the power of love.
They are JUST SO DAMN PROUD OF THEMSELF! They honestly thought they fixed it and They are so happy! Now that they learned the secret of being a friend, they can show it to Belos and they can be friends again. Even better, his old best friend and his new best friends can all be friends together and it’s going to be great!
He. Is. Just. So. Happy.
So when Belos attacks and Luz has to save them, they are genuinely confused. It doesn’t make sense. They did exactly what Luz told them, so why didn’t it work? And how does Luz react?
Luz tells him that he did good. Because she is genuinely proud of him. He did the worst thing he could possibly do in that situation, he made a mistake that put everyone in danger, but she IS proud of him. She is so proud he heard her lesson and she is going to protect that lesson to her dying breath.
He is so rattled and confused right now, and her number one priority is to comfort him and reinforce that he did the right thing, even if it was in the wrong situation. She comforts him and tells him that it’s just a little complicated. She is just so gentle and so loving, and my heart can’t handle it!

i want to write this fic that's like — cowboy bakugou, late 1800's style LOL
with him as a leeeeetle bit older, spent his life in cattle drives, wanted to be a marshal at some point, but his health and injuries from his younger days made it hard 🥺 he doesn't settle down, doesn't have any kids though he's in his mid-30's, and — one day he gets a letter that toshinori dies.
it's really supposed to be deku's responsibility, but only god knows where he is. probably got the news and can't accept it, too chicken-shit to face it. yeah, it tears katsuki up inside, too, but someone has to stick around in musutafu and help figure out his estate, the ranch.
help figure out you.
toshinori married in his late age, an ad he put out on the paper. bought you, as katsuki has always said, though the older man would always just smile wryly at the comment, look around at his extensive acreage, his horses and cattle, and he'd say,
"i only want someone to share this with, young man, do you understand?"
and he didn't. he really, really didn't. especially because you were younger than even bakugou, fresh-faced, hardly knew how to cook anything decent or how to ride a horse. waste of money, in katsuki's eyes.
but when he arranges his feelings right, he meets you on the ranch and — you're scared, because you're now a widowed woman and everyone and their mama wants a piece. you have the money, now, to upkeep the place but you've never done it by yourself. have learned more in the few years you've been married but it's a big place, a big responsibility.
and when katsuki hears that the bank wants to take it all from you, he's all, "over my dead fuckin' body."
it's really all deku's responsibility, since he and toshinori were closer, but you need someone now. and if bakugou has to stay in the house with you and help with the ranch, make sure no one comes to bother you—
then he'll do it. because that's what the old man would've wanted.

reminder that it is quite possible the Titan’s first impression of Luz is her introducing herself as a crab maiden and later getting her aunt to punch Philip in the nose
