I make my return as Pokémon anon (not that I ever left)! Most of what you said was correct but I wanted to add a couple things I remember:

- King’s Applin being shiny and also his Alcremie being affected by his curse becoming a unique apple variety

- Gears having Aron and Klink, but also a Beldum which I’m pretty sure was the smartest of the foundation Pokémon

- I don’t know what’s going on with Ice’s team? I think Glaceon got added in the revisit of the idea but I don’t think Typhlosion was ever brought up? I do know he had a Sneasel and Mawhile though

- It never went anywhere but I stand by Clef having a Stunky. Mostly cause I played the Ranger games and using a Stunky to clear a room of baddies was hilarious and I feel Clef energy

anyway in the past week the irish government has voted down two motions which would have condemned the genocide in gaza.

i need everyone to stop lionising ireland as if its not also a european government with strong ties to the us. american weapons pass through shannon airport and will continue to, because yesterday the motion to stop that was voted down 83 to 50.

other governments have done much more but somehow people still act as though ireland is the ultimate palestinian ally and exempt from criticism on its handling of palestine bc it was once colonised, even though that past experience clearly isnt being taken into account by the irish government when creating policy.

i live here i know there’s a lot of public support and sympathy for palestine, which is great, but that isnt reflected in government, and i think ireland should be treated like other countries whose governments have done nothing.

i was emotionally groveling over how phos and shinsha's last moments together were tainted with anguish and sorrow... 🙂 i think it's interesting to see the progressive shift in shinsha's confidence, indicating how much their resolve grew since their first encounter with phos.

out of the two, shinsha is the only one who remembers their promise and the extent of its deep significance. between letting go of the notebook and crushing the mercury-formed figure of young phos, it felt like shinsha forcibly wanted to distance their old feelings for phos, at least the memory of the version who actively wanted to save them in the first place, in order to protect adamant.

nevertheless, i'd like to think shinsha's efforts didn't fall through considering how clearly they could recall their gratefulness to phos since the last few centuries the promise was made until the very end. ^_T
