#like I lag out of the one server I play on all the time

Okay on the reset, there's multiple things going on here.
I think it's fair for the heavily active CC to be frustrated their personal stuff was sidelined and interrupted with the reset, I get it. All that progress stopped. I also have full faith in all of the active CC to be able to bounce back and be capable of return in their own way. I trust this of BadBoyHalo and Tubbo. Pierre might have different concerns, but he's been doing content for a decade, I think he'll be fine.
On the other hand, I think this server reset was kinda necessary. Especially from the perspective of more new players being added soon. Like, even Tubbo when added was struggling to find things to do at first because he'd suggest something, and then people would point out someone else already did that like two months prior. To quote a friend, if Tubbo was struggling to find things to do, what's left for players like Lenay?
Keep in mind, the last time the admins tried something to level the playing field between active players and inactive players was Lucky Ducks. Which killed a lot of motivation for members who did like grinding hard to obtain materials. Lucky Ducks was just giving them that stuff without any work. This reset is the last resort in my opinion.
The other thing that interests me is that Etoiles mentioned that he knew about this reset coming (or something similar) for at least three months now. This is odd with the perspective of Pierre and BBH both reacting so badly, like they didn't know this would be happening. Because of both of these scenarios, I think there are two things that could have happened: 1. Etoiles vouching for a reset meant he talked to the admins more one-on-one over this. 2. The admins mentioned a server reset, and never detailed what that would revolve around. I personally think the second is more likely, as QStudios are somewhat... notorious? For being a little nebulous and not the best at communication for all streamers at once.
Ultimately I do think the server reset was a good decision, it encourages playing for people who were never able to get their foot in the door, and hopefully will make the server more active in the future. I also think the incentivizing for players to be farther apart ala Karmaland while create is off for the first few days is a good idea too, we don't need another Roier chunk that lags the hell out of the server being so close to spawn.
I think there's other parts that are less than desirable because they work poorly in practice (disabling all backpacks above iron unless purchased via... the new money system. The new money system in general. Punishing players for doing a bunch of backpacks as a storage system as if that isn't a fair playstyle because it's literally just a bunch of blocks on hand, it makes things more convenient I truly do not get the weird punishing behavior about backpacks. Not telling the players the list of nerfs/changes beforehand. Come on, I would love a Tubbo changelog reading stream. He'd have so much fun doing that.), however overall I am willing to wait another week or two to see how the admin team responds and fixes changes as they see them be interacted with. It's been three days, and there were a hell of a lot of changes.

sonic characters playing minecraft headcanons bc i cant sleep:
-tails is a huge redstoner. he builds giant farms for everyone on the server to use and also has a tendency to be responsible for most of the server's lag. in their umiverse tails is the one to invent wireless redstone
-tails also likes building house exteriors while amy builds the interiors. they work on a lot of projects together
-amy also runs a business making interiors because shes known to be the best at it on the server
-amy runs a shop selling mob loot because she loves killing things. she's also a master pvper and everyone fears her so you know no one would dare steal from her. she kills withers on the regular and makes bank off the nether stars
-she's also very skilled at using both the axe and the sword, but not as good at ranged weapons.
-sonic is an explorer and likes mods that allow for gear that makes him faster and increases his step height. mountain biomes are the bane of his existance in vanilla
-sonic used to live in tails' house but he would ruin his item sorter system all the time so he asked sonic to get his own storage. sonic now lives in a hole under tails' house
-sonic's a big potion user. he likes speed potions + water breathing / night vision potions for dealing with water stuff. he's soooo brave about it. he forced himself to take on a water temple because he couldnt stand the idea of there being an enemy he couldnt defeat. being underwater makes him sick tho
-knuckles is a miner and his house is a series of tunnels that blends into his mine. he also likes building things mainly with stone materials. he takes inspiration from irl angel island.
-rouge is a big flyer. shes possibly the best elytra user on the server
-rouge collects all the gems in the game and stacks them in shulker boxes in a vault nobody on the server has found yet. she does randomly flex by taking them out and showing them off. she'll go up to knuckles and just place a shulker box full of diamond blocks in front of him to taunt him, then quickly grab it and fly away.
-rouge doesn't mine so much as she'll trade or steal. she mainly steals from knuckles tho just to mess with him. knuckles always gets confused where his stuff has gone and still hasnt figured out rouge is the one taking it.
-rouge will also trade random missions for gems. these missions will often consist of helping with playing pranks on other members of the server.
-cream runs a flower and dye "shop" where she has super cheap prices, but half the time she will just give people flowers as gifts. everyone returns the favor with much more valuable items to make her happy but it technically doesn't count as selling/buying because cream never asks for anything in return. she does like receiving gifts tho
-big is always on the server, fishing. little do they know big is actually physically in the minecraft world. he doesnt know how he got there but he's vibin
-knuckles is very into minecraft lore. he likes exploring to learn more about the world and he likes finding old ruins. while sonic is also an explorer it's not too often they'll actually team up unless theyre specifically going to fight a difficult enemy. usually they prefer to go solo
-when time came to fight the ender dragon everyone showed up (except cream because she didn't think the dragon is evil and didnt want to kill it). shadow, sonic, and knuckles were all fighting for the final hit on the dragon. shadow got the hit but sonic stole the egg before anyone else could. he's hiding it in the hole under tails' house. rouge has her sights set on that thing and will figure out where it is any moment now. she just has to wait for tails to leave the house so she can search without being seen or heard
-shadow was the first on the server to get the achievement for collecting all the cats
-shadow is also a pretty good builder and he lives in a nice house with his cats. he has the most maxed out armor on the server
-tails has a solo world as well where he runs like 1000 mods that nobody else's computer could handle. i thought this was important to mention
-sonic likes to collect heads. both mob heads and player heads. he has 20 knuckles heads and 13 shadow ones but he could not get a tails one until tails donated one himself to the collection.

In an apartment deep in the city, there’s a constant ringing of a doorbell. It chimes for several minutes, but its occupant doesn’t open the door—not even once. Much to the neighbors annoyance, it’s not because the person isn’t around, but rather completely oblivious to it. His ears are covered by the sound of constant profanities and commands booming in haphazard waves over the headset, louder than the rapid fire gunshots being shot on screen.
“Christ! Go left! Go left!” Someone yells over voice chat, foreign and rough sounding, capable of grating even the most mild mannered person, yet it doesn't faze him in the slightest. His eyes remain intently fixed to the screen, almost bursting out from staring for hours and hours. Meanwhile, his fingers mash on the controller reflexively, like it’s muscle memory to him now.
“I got you! I got you.” He replies, looking calm, but his voice presents heightened urgency. Even with their best efforts, it’s a struggle to gain an edge over the enemy team. Occasionally, there’s a deafening scream of frustration or a swear, blaming someone on their own squad—him included—or server lag, which happens often. He’s not innocent in the matter either; in one instance he gets headshot from behind, and he fires off an emphatic curse too, punching his fist in the air out of rage.
“Fuck!” He shouts as the enemy team’s points continue to jump higher, and the gap between them expands. There’s not much time left. A loss is all but guaranteed at this point. Still, he and the others play out the remaining time, even with the awareness that the match is practically over.
The game ends in a resounding victory for the enemy squad. It isn’t even close. If this was a championship or official tournament game, they’d get clowned on by the internet.
He takes off his headset, only to hear the sound of the doorbell that has been pestering him and the rest of the apartment for a while, to his complete ignorance. He quickly puts it back on to get a quick word to his teammates, saying,  “Someone’s knocking on my door. Go and start the next one without me.”
He walks to the front door, rubbing a hand on his hunched back, curious as to who could be knocking. Certainly not his neighbors, he theorizes, since he’s using a headset to cut down the loud gaming setup that bothered them before. He hasn’t ordered anything online lately either, so that’s out of the question too. Then for a moment, he realizes something.
Could it be her?
Upon realizing the absurdity of that thought, he shakes his head in denial; after that fateful night, he has never heard from her ever since. Why would she randomly come calling on his doorstep again?
He doesn’t realize the ringing of the doorbell has suddenly stopped. When he opens the door, he doesn’t find anyone standing outside, or anywhere in the hallway for that matter. However, there’s a small, wrapped box set on the floor inches away. Piqued by curiosity, he leans his head down to see a small note attached to it. His name is written on the paper in presumably red ink, dripping and leaking down to the sealed present.
“It’s not my birthday today,” he comments, picking up the mysterious gift without asking anyone or checking with anyone before closing the door. He walks to the living room, slowly unwrapping the enigmatic box along the way. As he gets acquainted with the box, he notes its unusual texture, but doesn’t seem concerned overall. He lifts the lid to find a second note with an item attached on it: a pink metallic flower in the shape of a cherry blossom.
At its center, a red dot starts to blink. He rips the note off the strange object, then flips the paper around to see a new message, written in the same red ink like the first one.
“Tell him I said hi!” - M.S.
His eyes widen in shock, then he turns his gaze back to the metallic flower, now with a second blinking red dot on its core. Realizing what it actually is, he immediately tosses it away from him, with a deep, panicked shout.
Piece by piece, the metals disintegrate and cause a huge explosion. The sheer power and force of the blast sends him flying back until he crashes against the wall, rendering him temporarily unconscious. A huge hole forms in his apartment and the flats surrounding it, both on the upper and lower floors. Smoke begins to gush out from where the bomb blew up, while objects in his room are either set ablaze or destroyed.
Several minutes later, he regains consciousness, coughing hoarsely from the dust from being buried in wood and brick. He squints his eyes, trying to regain his sight. Everywhere he turns, there’s the open city—with winds blowing in all directions—completely uncovered by the violent detonation. He looks at the aftermath in utter disbelief, unable to comprehend what exactly is going on.
A sudden electric whir steals his attention, then a new sight grips him with awe and fear. A woman covered in a long cloak rests on a floating hovercraft right outside his wrecked apartment, glaring back at him with a wicked smirk on her lips and with deceptively alluring eyes.
“You did this?” he blurts out with a tone meshed with both fright and shock.
“I hope you enjoyed my little gift,” she replies, tauntingly. She playfully looks at her darkened nails, relishing the damage she has caused. “This is just a warm up for the real treat.”
“What treat?”
“You’ll find out soon enough.”
With a confident, devilish grin, she turns her airborne machine around and flies away, her baleful, comical laughter echoing up to the sky. As she leaves, she casually drops a few more flower bombs, triggering several explosions on more buildings in the city. Waves of smoke rise, one after another, and mass hysteria ensues on the ground while she soars off to parts unknown.
—————
“Jeez.”
That was the only thing Eunbi could say after you told her everything, down to the most excruciating detail. The shoot, the gangbang, the subsequent sex in the dressing room—everything. Well, not exactly everything; there’s the part where you can tell by Hyewon’s tone that she has some kind of contempt for her and Yena, but you’d rather deal with that later.
“Yeah, well she said hi by the way,” you add quietly into your phone’s microphone, staring at your friend through the screen, who’s smiling on the opposite end, nodding along.
“But, it’s good then that she now knows.” Eunbi’s soft voice—a warm, comforting contrast to the coldness of Hyewon—answers you back, partially altered by bits of static due to poor communications. “I managed to get in touch with Yena. I’ll meet with her soon.”
“Really?” Your eyes light up at the positive results of her mission, and your inflection shows hope and excitement. “Where’d you find her?”
“Busan. Annoyingly, I’ve had to ditch the car at the terminal. My ass ain’t driving for four hours, plus traffic’s a thing. Gas prices suck.” Eunbi redirects her camera away from her sun-kissed face, redirecting it toward the other passengers aboard the train, mostly on their phones and minding their own business.
“That far?” You’re surprised that Yena has managed to travel a long way overnight. “I hope she can actually meet you as soon as possible.”
“Yeah. Otherwise this would be a stupid waste of train tickets.” She grumbles, rolling her eyes in annoyance at the additional expenses, eliciting a small laugh out of you. “Anyway, I’m about to get off in two stops.”
“What do I do now?” you ask, worried about those thoughts slowly haunting you. Briefly look over your shoulder, and find nothing but the pale white walls of the dressing room, dreading Hyewon prematurely returning from her shoot. She’ll probably flash a friendly smile or two if she sees Eunbi, but you know it’s only a mask, a facade to hide her true feelings.
“Do what?” Eunbi twists an eyebrow, while her lips curl into a frown. “Something wrong? You look nervous all of a sudden.”
Her words pass through deaf ears, as more of your worries bother you. It’s only when she modulates your name again that you snap out of your confused state.
“Hey!” She shouts, with her features turning dourer. “You okay?”
“Y-yeah,” you say, stumbling through such an easy word like you’ve forgotten how to pronounce it, visibly affected in some shape or form. When you return your eyes to her, your brain starts functioning like it should. “I’ll be fine. I’m just anxious about her.”
“Mm, don’t worry. We’ve learned our lesson the first time, and we won’t let our guards down again,” says Eunbi with great confidence, like failure’s an impossibility, and it’s faith you wish you had too. “I’ll be going now. Take care, love.”
“Yeah. You too.” Wave goodbye to her from your side while she makes a kissy face on the screen. Then the call ends.
Hopping off the stained couch where you fucked Hyewon, you quietly waddle over to the dressing room’s door, stick your head out to see what’s going on. It’s dead silent; not one of the male models are on set, and the props remain untouched in the center of the room, directly in front of the lone camera placed on the tripod.
“They’ve already left.” The cold, feminine voice echoes deeply in your ear, shattering the illusion of silence in the room.
“What the?” Look around panickedly, only to catch Hyewon right beside you, watching you with crossed arms, somehow avoiding your line of sight the whole time—or that you’re caught up in your own tunnel vision again.
“Were you looking to see if I was getting railed by those boys a second time?” she asks, placing a gentle but firm hand on your shoulder with a playful, toying pout on her freshly puckered lips. “I thought I would never rub off on you.”
Much to your chagrin, you lift your head back, sighing. “God, Hyem, this isn’t time for jokes.”
She’s widely smiling, looking more arrogant and vain than ever, like she’s completely oblivious of the situation. Of course, she’s much smarter than that. “Lighten up, baby. You weren’t this anxious and tense when you were fucking me and Yena shamelessly.”
“That was—different,” you say, choking that last word out, the wobbliness in your tone selling you out.
“Different how?” Hyewon’s hands are all over your shoulders, turning your body to face hers, locking eyes together like there’s an unbreakable connection between you two. Before you know it, she has you pinned against the wall, smirking and quietly giggling, trapping you deeper with those chestnut pupils. “This is no different to what we did back then, what we did now, and what we’ll do again, and again, and again.”
She kisses you, soft and gently, like what she’s done so many times, and yet you fall for it every single time. From your collarbones to your chin, eventually those lush pink lips meet yours, and she slips her tongue into your mouth, allowing you to taste her sweetness abundantly. You’ll never verbally admit, but you’d never grow tired of her, no matter how much you try to resist. In fact, she’s rubbed off on you and it’s impossible to remove that familiarity, especially when she tastes so good.
“Haven’t—you—had—enough?” You mumble into her mouth as she continues to make out with you, humming sweet music into your lips. A pointless question, given how passionate she is when it comes to kissing you, and how her nails are marking into your shirt in an attempt to get rid of it once more. If she could tear it to pieces, she absolutely would.
Affirming this, she cups your face with urgency, then pulls you further into the kiss, as if you’re not drowning under her love ocean already.  “Fuck no.”
In the middle of another sudden makeout session, you’re back to square one again. Lift the black shirt over her head to expose her creamy, nakedness in all her full glory. She does the same to yours in return; now your clothes are back on the floor before you’re at the mercy of each other’s lips again. It’s a repetitive cycle, but it never fails to spark a raging fire of lust and desire between you both.
Perhaps you needed this—something and someone to jog your memories through pleasant times before things went south, when everything was simple and it was all beautiful. You’re wiser now, but Hyewon’s body serves as a reminder of what you had, and what you lost. She’s still in the past, hungry and fiending for what you both shared, but you’re long past that, ready to move forward, but right as you’re about to cross that line, she drags you back, unwilling to let you go.
Maybe it’s her, but in actuality, it’s you. After all, you’re allowing her to peel through your pants and boxers, allowing her free use of your cock like it’s her property every time.
You utter a strained moan as her fingers slide down your body, to that treasured possession of a cock, stroking you hard with intricate precision, perfectly done with all the experience she has with your shaft. Her eyes keep you magnetized, staring at you with the same wave of passion she’s had for you since you first met. At first, the pumps are quick and unrelenting, but soon switch to slow and emphatic. The further she goes, the more pleasure she seeps from you, making sure your entire figure shudders with each jerk of your cock.
“Relax. This will make you feel better. Trust me.” Hyewon delivers each word with sultry conviction, it eases you into a vivid, hypnotic state and relinquishes more control to her. She jerks you into creating deeper, needier groans, and when you say her name with such breathless, suffocating force, it’s heaven to her ears.
“F-fuck, Hyem—” Another stroke, another moan. Your eyes roll deep into the back of your skull, head twisted and bent in an uncanny position due to the overwhelming ecstasy coursing throughout your body. Your hands grip onto her tiny waist for support as she continues to pump you, tease you, and remind you of what you had.
“Yes, that’s it. Moan for me,” she says, like she’s commanding you, and you’re more than willing to comply. Your jaw slacks wide, producing prolonged groan after groan, like you’re a babbling child with no words to call your own. Your senses have gone completely numb, with every muscle in your body slowly falling apart, as Hyewon watches on with a giggle and an effervescent smile—a stark contrast to the lewd act she’s performing on you.
“My god, Hyewon.” Your hand, carefully led and guided by her graceful motions, find their way back to her meaty flesh, recapturing the sensitive, taut bud on her chest. Through glazed eyes, you capture flashes of Hyewon’s constantly evolving expressions, body quivering from the tight sensation you have on her. “So—fucking—hot.”
She rolls her head back, fluttery eyes drawing themselves shut as your fingers explore her bountiful chest, relishing in familiar but warm, arousing pleasures. “God, you should have seen their faces.”
“Hm?”
“They didn’t know I was getting fucked so hard already,” she says, and though it’s not directly implied, the words are enough to make your heart jump and your ego fly. Her hand is no longer on your stiff cock, rather going up and down on your back, leaving marks to let everyone know who you belong to. “Let’s just say they don’t ever want to see me again.”
“Good,” you whisper, leaving another poignant kiss on her intoxicating lips. “I—I didn’t like those guys one bit.”
“Scared that they were giving me good dick?” Her eyes swing open, directly meeting yours with an inviting and inescapable stare. You bend her downward, lifting a leg up to your waist like you’re in the middle of a fiery dance. “They were never enough to satisfy me compared to yours.”
It’s difficult to tell if it's sincerity or flattery—maybe both; you never know when it comes to Hyewon. But the words slice through your inhibitions and pierce right through your loins, and you’re falling for her enticing spell, and it’s like you’ve never learnt your lesson at all.
Take her back to the dressing room couch, the same one you railed her on half an hour ago, and you’re tangled up in circles with her again. Wrapping her slender legs around her waist, you flip her around, face down on the stained mattress, and slip the rest of her partly soiled undergarments off her. Her cunt is leaking, dripping with thick, gooey liquid, presumably from the guys she’s modeling with.
It should have raised red flags, but you’re not surprised. You’ve fucked her in twice, and she’s taken more cock from anyone in such a short timespan that it’s much more of a surprise she hasn’t been knocked up or passed out. Still, you set your sights on the prize that is her wrecked, stretched out pussy, intent to ruin her more than ever before.
“Nobody’s around now, give it to me hard—fuck!” Hyewon cries out loudly as you push yourself into her wet, inviting warmth, finding her tight, needy, and ready as she’s always been. Even when you’ve pounded her before, this scream is the loudest one she’s produced, as if she was previously holding back.
“I don’t want slow love making, baby. Please fuck me hard and fast and—aaah!” Without a second’s hesitation, you sink deep into her suffocating heat, cutting her sentence off. It was never on your mind, anyway. The idea of passionate, intimate sex was Hyewon’s least favorite kind. You were so used to high tempo, quick and tiresome fucking that it’s almost second nature to pump your cock deep in her womb without care for her comfort or yours.
The force and speed you pound Hyewon from behind severs all forms of communication between you. She’s reduced to a moaning, shouting mess, occasionally muffled by the flimsy couch her face is planted on. Otherwise, she’s crying out in rising crescendos, letting off an occasional swear. But when she whines out your name, you reward her by stroking faster than your hips permit, much to the soreness of your muscles, holding her shoulder in your palm and her stem in the other.
Surely by now, everyone inside the building has been made aware of your presence, if the cameras haven’t exposed you already. It’s been an hour and you should have been forced out, yet you’re in there, balls deep inside their model’s tight, stifling cunt. But you can’t stop, nor do you ever plan to—not when Hyewon’s perfectly sculpted body is jiggling and shaking violently because of you, and she’s so blissfully intoxicated, echoing your name out so proudly.
Even as your heavy legs begin to wobble, imploring you to slow down lest they break, you continue slamming your hips into her, spurred on by the silky, satisfying claps made by your flesh slapping against hers. If only the room-filling mirror in her dressing room was a few inches lower. For now, you’ll settle with her euphoric cries of pleasure and the brisk quivers of her figure held in your grasp.
It’s in the little things she does: her well-manicured nails tearing through the thin, weak fabric of the couch, the complete weakness and lack of resistance as she falls deeper to her pleasure, and the sudden patheticness of her moans that fills the once raucous room, with your smacks of skin now the loudest thing in the whole place. “So—close—”
Two words are all she can muster before she goes quiet once more, leaving the rest entirely in your control. You’re struggling too; the heat between her legs is turning more intense by the second, and you’re a few loose screws away from another deep orgasm inside her. It’s so difficult to even avert your gaze from the splayed, naked goddess that is Hyewon, weak back arches, steady body ripples, and all. She may not be directly watching you, but she can certainly feel that you’re hesitating and second guessing what to do.
Even without her direction, you know anything less than a load in her cunt would be a death sentence. As your eventual climax creeps in, you lay your head besides hers, take in the strange fusion of sex, sweat, and perfume she’s wearing. Kiss the side of her neck as you give her another surge of thrusts, sloppily soaking up her creamy flesh with a vibrant, satisfied hum. It’s the closest you can get to passionate love making with her before she calls you out for being too soft.
“Fuck, fuck, you’re so damn tight, angel.” You whisper gentle moans in her ear, nibbling her skin while you lift her head slightly. Through the waves of dark hair concealing her face, you catch a little glimpse of the slightest toothy smile on her features, enjoying every moment getting railed as much as you do. “I can’t believe how much of a slut you are, still needy for my cum after getting so much already.”
“Cum in me, then.” Hyewon purrs weakly, hoarsely, using two fingers to brush aside some of the hair obstructing her view. One half-lidded stare is enough to hook your attention. “Give this slutty angel of yours all that hot, gooey cum that I oh-so fucking want.”
You were practically crawling to your orgasm, but the last sentence was the push needed to send you over the edge. Call it a well-timed coincidence or part of a plan, right as your legs stumble forward, you come through with one more thrust that causes your mind to go blank. Your palms cling to whatever flesh they can hold impulsively, like your body’s on lock, as a surge of hotness fills your loins. Your mouth groans, but nothing’s verbalizing.
For the next few minutes, maybe longer—much longer—you slump atop Hyewon, resting your head beside hers as the room goes dead silent. It’s such an awkward position you’re both tangled up in; such a knot is usually designated for blacked out drunkards rather than two people partaking in sex. Forget that you’re in a dressing room and all; it feels like you’re both in bed, like you used to be.
—————
“You make no fucking sense.”
None of this makes any sense to you, either. One look at your phone and it’s already half past five. You haven’t seen the sun since you entered the building but you’re sure it’s already gone. Where did the past two hours go? The last thing you remember before passing out is lying next to Hyewon on the couch, which has become completely non washable at this point. Now she’s on the floor, on her knees, with your drenched cock sandwiched between her breasts, just as wet and full of warm, sticky cum.
Her voice demands your attention. Her gaze also demands your attention. One wrong look, one wrong move, and she will snap your dick in half between her tits. With strength you have regained, you choose to do the right thing and follow her every motion.
“So, are we a thing again?” you ask, flatly.
“Up to you,” replies Hyewon, slightly tilted. Your cock sinks deep between her cleavage, then reemerges slicker than before. “I—I couldn’t care less if you fucked Eunbi again after this.”
Though she says otherwise, it’s clear that she’s bothered by your interactions with your former lovers—who wouldn’t be when their lover is speaking with their exes and other potential suitresses—and her tone couldn’t be more apparent. “I know, I know,” she adds, pining, “You’re sick of me. Sick of all of this. If that’s how you feel, then go ahead.”
“That’s not it,” you say, frowning. “It’s—It’s a lot more complicated than that.”
“Complicated? Great excuse. Definitely have not heard that a thousand times before.” Hyewon’s snarky tone rubs you the wrong way; she’s becoming too difficult and insufferable at the worst time imaginable.
You can’t bear to hide your feelings any longer. “Well how can I say it isn’t? Tell me who’s the one always fucking five guys behind my back?”
Suddenly, she rises up from the floor, towers above you, weakly slouched against the couch. It takes every fiber of restraint in her not to slap you. It’s a trigger to her; she never really questioned the long-term consequences of her behaviors, always running from one man to another when it happens.
“Tell me who’s the one allowing it to happen in the first place. You were supposed to be my boyfriend, right? How come you never acted like it?”
Without another word, she walks off, with tears forming in her eyes, and leaves you alone, with nothing but fatigue, and something to think about.
Suddenly, your phone beeps. One glance and it’s a text message from a forgotten friend—Hong Jaein. Your eyes widen as you look at the contents, and you can’t help but mutter an audible, “Oh God.”
Pictures of his apartment, completely in tatters, plus a written note in his hand saying:
> “Tell him I said hi.” - M.S.
(We're back! Expect one more chapter before the year ends. Again, I wanted to do more experimental stuff before returning to the series. Still not really sure how this will properly translate, but hopefully it's a good reflection of what I've been doing over the past few months. Hong Jaein is the name of the OC from that one filler/side chapter, and he's suddenly caught up in this mess too. Imagine the awkwardness when the protagonist finds out Hyewon's had one with him too. Yikes.)

sorry if this is perhaps too negative but aah pepito's death has me so frustrated. it was so unnecessary, i still don't understand why they keep counting deaths caused by lag when some players have a clear advantage over others due to the location of the server and their internet connection. these deaths don't really add anything to the narrative, it's just something that could've been easily avoided. i think you're right, the egg lives system has become redundant. removing an egg because they lost all their lives could make for some good short-term angst, but in the long run it just drains the motivation out of players, and i think the team should prioritize enjoyment rather than some shock value angst that will just leave bitterness behind

idk its just the fact roier was lagging the entire day. at one point having 17,000 ping. and i understand pepitos death was from pepitos own accord like pepito couldnt get away in time but how do they expect roier to do these dungeons with pepito if he’s going to be continuously lagging because of his internet connection which isnt his fault! he just lives in latin america like😭 he has been continuously lagging and crashing for months now on the qsmp and has expressed how he has to play a different way then he’d like to because he understands he has lag is like. dude. idkidkidk. pepitos death is clear to me i just think the circumstances of how these egg deaths happen with roier is really unfortunate since its always something he cannot fucking control. he literally could not do anything. losing the majority of his health in one hit by a mob like comee onnnnnn. again im not frustrated with pepito dying im just frustrated that its always out of roiers control
bobbys first death being the code which was basically doomed fate for every egg. couldnt control that. then the bobby lag death. couldnt control that. then pepito lag death. couldnt control that.

IDK man I think the real reason no one likes Blue team or rather no one ever celebrates their wins is cause almost all their wins they got threw exploiting some kind bug or just unfairly killing people. People can say all they want that Tubbo got their kill fair and square but we all know they wernt winning without that kill and I highly doubt they would have gotten said kill without that lag. It dosnt matter who wins or loses in the end its just a game but I think its fair to point out that whenever Blue wins there always some discrepancy that makes them win. Red has also done this once but their other wins they got not out of lags and bugs (the 2nd day was threw exploiting a game feature tho), Green just got beat into the ground cause they always tried to play fair (and again Blue used their crap ping against them for a diffrent win a diffrent day that also felt like a shit win) I switch between all POVs so its not like im biest for Red I just think Blue has gotten nothing but unfair wins and thats why no one likes them. I do get that their like "unlucky" but I dont know man I dont think I want to watch a bunch of people cheese an event just cause they wanna win so bad. Seems like cheating a win and that dosnt feel satisfying :/ like if they had gotten that win without killing a lagged out player id feel better about it.
Sorry but when Red stole the Green's NPC and killed El Quackity all by himself multiple times getting their first win, everyone was celebrating and saying they were allowed to do any dirty tactic because they deserved. Blue never got this treatment.
Their win yesterday was fair, but people started making up shit like metagaming and rule breaking to make it as if they only could win through cheating. And every single accusation was a lie, which just shows it's all about people being sore losers not about caring what's fair.
As Aypierre said "We win as a fraud, or die villains".
Also, it shows you clearly didn't see any stream post-event. Tubbo, Etoiles, Roier, and Cellbit went to a PvP practice server and kept dueling each other all night. Tubbo won a lot of fights against Roier. He won a lot of duels against Etoiles too. And that's where they have their equipment evenly matched. Roier's helmet was broken in his fight against Tubbo. Tubbo had a very big chance to with regardless if he had lag.
And why are you blaming Blue for the fact that Red logged in even though they didn't need to? All they needed was a kill and Red could have just left them, there was nothing that they could do. Roier was the one that decided to take the risk with his bad connection and fight. Why are you blaming Tubbo for Roier having lag?
Don't you feel not even a little ashamed?

goddamn it now you've got me thinking about Sonic Minecraft headcanons and shit lmaoooo lemme like... spout a few: -Tails is the redstone nerd, he's the one who would literally learn to build computers inside of minecraft. The others purposefully ignore redstone in caves purely because they dont want him building massive shit that lags the entire server lmao, if he wants the redstone he has to get it himself. -Amy and Sonic are the two who use shaders, Sonic has a beefy-ass PC that Tails made for him so he likes to use shaders to make the world look as cool as possible, but he's also still a freak for high FPS so he tends to use low-end shaders with very basic texture packs. Amy, however, pushes her own PC to it's limits to make shit look as beautiful as possible, and she has a whole slew of texture packs that she's organized and uses. She's the screenshot lover, and the primary builder of the group. -Omega isn't in the server because he would not stop asking for mods that add explosives so he gets his own modded world where it's just.... always chaos. -Amy is also the primary server moderator, while Tails helps her with the technical stuff. -Rouge has been banned and unbanned like 14 times for stealing so now they shut down the server if Amy or Tails isn't online to make sure she doesn't cause trouble again. -Sonic, as you've mentioned, tends to explore a lot, so the others often find random dirt huts every 1000 blocks or so from when he forgets to take food with him and his sprint runs out at night time lol -Knuckles is the primary mining dude, he also absolutely refuses to give up his emeralds to trade with villagers because he wants to rebuild his home ruins in Minecraft and hopes to use emerald blocks for that. -Shadow is.... a bit of a wildcard??? He just tends to do whatever the hell he feels like, which is either building onto his house made of an assortment of random blocks, or causing absolute fucking mayhem for everyone else. He's also the one who spends his EXP on naming his weapons the most batshit insane stuff. -There was a moment in time when they were all in a VC together that Sonic said "Oh hey I found Shadow!" and not even 5 seconds later the message "SpeedyBoi was slain by XxUltimateShitlordxX" appeared in the in-game chat -Tails most likely helped set up some of their Minecraft accounts so many of them ended up stuck with names they absolutely did not choose
thats all i can think of right now lol, but this is making me wanna make a Shadow skin for MC
these are very fun, i think the only thing i would add is that the one time omega was in the server he downloaded every speedrunning strat known to man and beat the ender dragon in under five minutes
also silver does not play because he thinks herobrine is real <3

I'm obsessed with this youtube video on exploring old dead games
__________________________________________________________
The upbeat tunes were eerie to listen to as he explored the game. It sounded quite similar to things he heard growing up, from commercials for these computer games he was never allowed to play. The family computer was really just his parent's computer. And they never trusted these types of games.
His parents had claimed that anyone talking to people online was a weirdo. So. Anything with people in it was a no-go. It was his handheld game or nothing.
So it was cool, in a way, to explore this online game. It was empty, devoid of life, but it was interesting. Even with the unnerving tunes.
It made Edd wish a little that his parents hadn’t been so strict about online safety when he was a kid. He would have loved making new friends on this game's servers in its hayday. Because contrary to their beliefs, not everyone online was a gross weirdo trying to get kid’s home addresses.
Ugh, Edd did not miss seeing those PSAs on the tv or hearing about them in school.
Edd sighed as his avatar stopped moving. The building he was trying to enter was trying so hard to render and load. It had been so long since this particular server had been updated, let alone used by people. He had to wait a lot for textures and stuff to load.
It took a few minutes, but shop after shop started appearing. Then the floor texture loaded, then…. a person!
Edd wiggled his mouse and tapped on his arrow key, impatiently wanting his character to move already. This was the first person he’s seen in this game! And he tried six servers already!
But as he got closer to the other person, his face fell. There was no username hovering above the avatar. It was merely an NPC. Or a statue, since it wasn’t moving.
“Aw man,” Edd muttered, slumping down. He’d just have to keep an eye out as he explored forgotten worlds.
Still, he moved closer to check out the statue. Finally close enough to see it, he stopped.
What the hell? Edd thought to himself. The statue was plain, up until you got to its eyes. It appeared to be a man, with black pants and a blue hoodie. With large, black empty eyes.
Edd huffed. It was probably someone’s last project, a way to scare anyone exploring. He moved around the statue, giving it one last look, before he moved on.
As expected, the game freaked out as he left the building. Slowly, the world loaded, grass and buildings popping up.
Edd moved on, lagging as he interacted with things.
He found the statue again.
This time, it was sitting on a park bench. Watching him, no matter which direction he went. And it kept appearing in places Edd’s avatar stopped at, while the world loaded. Whoever’s idea it was to scare new players, it was working.
Edd went to click on the leave server button but…. nothing happened. Goddammit. He was going to have to close the game and then wait forever for it to load back up.
Tom: leaving so soon?
Edd stared at the chat, baffled. He spun his avatar around, searching for another player. Not a single user name popped up in sight. Let alone another avatar. Who was talking to him?
Colalover15: hi! have you been following me?
Edd nervously typed. He didn’t feel like getting jumpscared by some random player. This game was unintentionally scary already.
Tom: yes. you are the first player I’ve seen in a long time. no one joins anymore.
Colalover15: I bet! I’ve joined six servers and haven’t seen a single person lol. do you play often? where are you?
Tom: I’m right in front of you.
Oh hell no. The only thing in front of him was the statue. That’s it, Edd was done. He was not participating in a creepypasta or urban legend.
He clicked the X button on the window and waited. And tried again. And again.
He frowned, his heart beginning to beat fast.
Tom: why are you trying to leave? aren’t you having fun?
Tom: are you bored of this world?
Faster than the game had been loading all night, the world changed. A new map appeared, a different set of cheerful music playing. Edd grimaced, quickly muting his volume. This one was actively giving him a headache.
He was in a room now, the walls gray and furniture scattered around. Things he was sure kids in the early 2000s would have loved popped up.
Obscure and old pop artist pictures, ads, and activities flooded the walls of what Edd assumed to be a hub building. The statue was still standing in front of him.
Tom: is this better?
Colalover15: it’s very interesting! i haven’t seen some of this stuff in years. how did you do that? are you a dev?
Edd hoped this was just a weird dev messing with him. But, still, it was best to be polite. Just in case. As he waited for the person’s reply, he ventured closer to the pictures on the walls. As expected, the links on them were dead. Each webpage was long gone.
Tom: Is it not 2004?
Can of worms. This was a can of worms Edd did not want to fucking open. Since closing the game window wasn’t working, he clicked his power button. To his horror, nothing happened. Perhaps it was a bit over dramatic, but he yanked out the computer’s power cord.
His screen flickered, then turned off. Ugh, Edd really hoped that the game hadn’t turned out to have a virus or anything malicious in the code. He really couldn’t afford to replace his desktop. And his parents would be so mad at him…
Speaking of parents, it was a school night. It was best that he got to bed before one of them got up.
He laid down on his side, facing his wall. With his heart still racing, he snuggled into his blankets. As scary as that was, he was pretty excited to tell his friends at school about it. At the very least, Tord would like it. Then, they could explore it together at his house, on his computer.
Just as Edd was falling asleep, cheery pop music played on a low volume.
Someone was standing behind him.

a decent amount of people (mostly on twitter) we're saying the purgatory ending was unsatisfying, and i disagree! i think it was flawed but not a total waste.
the team leader 1v1 was great, it's a good way to settle the tie. but also in a timely matter to get to the second half of the day. qphil and qtubbo speaking before the fight was fantastic for both of their story lines.
for having the eggs safety be a huge motivator for everyone listening to the eye, it's silly that only one egg was saved. and it not being a kid of the winners. i'm sure the admins have stuff cooking up for this tho.
as far as the cursed team goes, i never understood it. i'm a foolish POV main, so it's not in my job description tho. there's a chance that this story line wasn't working out how intended, and now it's more of a loose thread. or it's still cooking idk.
And! for who made it to the boat or not, sounds like more updates will come up. for rn i think the intent will be a bigger factor in who actually made it. qbaghera choose to stay. qcellbit saw he was too far so he stopped to message his husband. qmaxo is committing himself to death, qquackity's involved with the eye. qtina, qmouse, and qfoolish where practically on the shore when the video played. realistically in that time they WOULD have made it. so it's up to them if they rushed forward or lagged behind.
it's all crazy and a lil bit messy, but for it being a role play server with a whole bunch of people, it'll take some time to clean up the stories right?

He doesn’t look like a king.
“King”, in Ren’s mind, is a powerful being. Crowned head and robed shoulders, commanding respect with the brandishing of a blade. “King” means something.
What does Ren mean?
Ren means floral shirts and attentive ears and a tail that wags a bit too eagerly when he sees BDubs. Ren means Gigacorp and profits and order. Ren means paved roads and over-the-top plans and a desire for good and order and beauty.
And maybe that can mean king...
And as he watches his reflection amidst the tower BDubs erected in his honor, he thinks a crown might look just fine between his ears.
The shadows which lag behind him don’t seem to agree.
“You’re playing a dangerous game, pup.”
Ren winces at the thing which speaks through his mouth, reflection warping to accompany graying skin and burning eyes. He’s grown used to the Red King butting into his contemplative hours, but it still sends a chill up his spine whenever he does.
“Not like it’s one we haven’t played before.”
“We lost that game.”
“So we’ll win this one.”
Ren’s reflection scoffs at the idea, red eyes rolling in distaste. “You can’t win a game without an objective.”
“So we make one!”
A clean server, order, community, roads weaving the providences together. That’s an objective, isn’t it?
Ren smiles at the thought of all the good he can do.
The Red King grimaces. “You cannot be serious...”
“Why not be!” He laughs, a hand running through his hair as he turns his attention out the window. The sun’s setting on Hermitcraft (not that he thinks BDubs will let it sink fully) and it’s painted spawn in a beautiful pallet of orange and yellows and reds. There’s an overly-dramatic sigh as he leans against the banister, looking out at the server.
His kingdom....
His reflection remains in the mirror though, the Red King’s face one of concern as he watches Ren yearn.
“Tell me you don’t wanna wear a crown again?”
A hollow, inhuman laugh. “I’d like nothing more. But this isn’t the server we ruled last time.”
“Right! This one’s uncursed, man. We don’t gotta kill anyone, and no one’s gonna try and kill us.”
“Until they do.”
“They won’t,” Ren insists. A wave of magic ripples through the server and the sun restarts again, bright blue painting the eastern sky. “They won’t. They’ll all be chill with it.”
“With a leader they didn’t choose?”
“With the good I can do! If they doubt me--then I just show them what I’ve got in mind! They’ll love it.”
They’ll love me.
Ren doesn’t say that last part aloud.
Still, The Red King shares a body and mind with Ren Dog, and hears it nonetheless.
When he speaks again, his voice is low and gentle, so unlike the tyrant Ren first met. It’s more like the being Ren’s gotten used to. The Red King: gentle and timid and willing observer of Hermitcraft through Ren’s eyes.
“And what happens if they don’t? If they object to your coronation? If they try to take your crown? How do you deal with such?”
And Ren doesn’t know. He doesn’t know, and he doesn’t seem to have to say it. He just... stares... As if there’s an answer in the skies of Hermitcraft.
The Red King, kind and patient, gives Ren time to think.
And when it seems he won’t respond...
“The server we ruled last time... It was not this one, pup. It was temporary. It was always meant to end.
“Shall we rule this one, you must lie in bed with the consequences of your every decision for eternity. Are you certain that is something you’d like?”
And Ren doesn’t say yes. He doesn’t respond to the question of morals laid at his feet. He just... stares...
And the Red King of shared mind sighs in contempt.
“Then so be it, Ren Dog.”
And the hound stares out unto his kingdom.

Minecraft SMP Announcement
Are you a fan of the Traffic Series looking for your next great adventure in our beloved game? Look no further!
The Ruby SMP has just started its third season! Now set on 1.20.1, this vanilla survival server is a great place for players who are 18+ and fans of the series to play the game and make some friends along the way! The server is always open, so it’s never too late to join, and all you need to know in order to do so is read this little post.
(If you’d like a short version, scroll to the bottom for a TL;DR. To avoid disappointment in advance, the server is for those 18+ ONLY!)
How do I join?
To join the Ruby SMP, you must first join the Last Life For Fans (LLFF) Discord. Here, you’ll find a bunch of channels relating to the series itself, the series we run for fans, and the Ruby SMP. It’s a great place to chat, and there are often other fan servers (i.e. Origins, Afterlife) popping up within it to play on!
From there, you’ll find all you need to know about the Ruby SMP listed under its category, along with the whitelist to sign yourself up, and then you’re free to play!
Please note, you must be 18+ both to join the LLFF Discord and the Ruby SMP itself. Discord Link: https://discord.gg/FbxHhTT5AB
Is the server vanilla?
The server is mostly vanilla, with the exception of a few tweaks similar to the ones you’d see in Hermitcraft. Several of these are just to make the game a bit kinder (i.e. universal dyeing, mini blocks, graves - full list in welcome doc). Ruby SMP also uses the voice mod, which you will need to install upon playing, and has an optional elytra trim mod (there is a very handy guide to this in the welcome doc when you join the Discord!).
Other than that, it’s very much vanilla! It is also worth mentioning that the server is on hard mode.
Do you have to be a content creator to join?
Not at all! Recording and streaming is allowed and encouraged, but is definitely not a requirement at all. The server does have a plugin that allows you to let others online know when you are streaming or recording, so just be sure to use that so people know what you’re up to!
There’s also a ‘promotions’ channel in the Discord for you to advertise any channels you’d like to!
Is there roleplay on the server?
Some people on the server do partake in roleplay to some degree, but it is absolutely not a requirement! It is great fun (I’m biased), and I can guarantee that you will always find someone who is willing to RP with you. But, if you prefer not to, there’s also plenty who don’t RP to hang out with as well.
There’s not really any specific rules on RP for the server generally, but just make sure to discuss any personal boundaries and rules with those you RP with and contact the mods if there are any serious issues.
What are the server rules?
The rules are quite straightforward and can be found in full on the welcome doc, but most importantly;
1. Treat everyone with respect - no discrimination or disrespect will be tolerated.
2. No villagers/farms in spawn chunks. Keep laggy farms contained to industrial areas where they won’t be constantly loaded.
3. Make sure everyone is on the same page when PVPing - stop means stop.
4. Keep lag pranks to a minimum and ensure everyone involved is okay with being pranked. Be willing to clean up the messes you cause!
5. No griefing.
Is it okay to join late?
Absolutely! I know that joining late can be incredibly daunting, and even joining during the third round of the server can be intimidating, but everyone on the server is very friendly and people will be more than willing to adopt you as a friend and let you live with them until you find your feet (or forever, in a lot of cases).
There is no deadline or anything on joining the LLFF Discord or the Ruby SMP, so take your time and join when you want! It is worth mentioning that as of writing this, the SMP only reset less than 24hrs ago, so now is an ideal time if you do want to get in early!
Is there any expectation of playtime?
Not at all! You are welcome to play as little or as much as you like, build as much or as little as you want, get as rich or as poor as you desire. It is entirely up to you! Everyone’s free time differs, especially with it being an 18+ server, so do not worry if you have barely any time or all the time in the world, people are very accommodating!
So far, the server has reset with each major update (1.18, 1.19, 1.20), so the duration of the server will likely be until whenever the next update comes along!
Who runs the server?
The discord moderators run the server! They all have administrator access on it, in case you need help with something.
Final notes - What to expect?
Ultimately, you will find that the Ruby SMP is a very mixed bag of players - from grinders to builders, roleplayers to casual players, there is a place for everyone so long as you are 18+, friendly and enjoy the game!
The people who are already here are very welcoming, and we look forward to welcoming you as well if you choose to join! :)
TL;DR
- You must be 18+ to join the server.
- You must join the LLFF Discord first, where you will find all the information for Ruby SMP and the category dedicated to it in the server.
- It is mostly vanilla, the exception being some tweaks (crafting recipes, graves, mini blocks etc.). It is on hard mode.
- The server uses voice mod which you can find a guide to install upon joining.
- Streaming/recording is allowed, but not necessary. Same goes for roleplaying.
- Server rules; no discrimination/disrespect, keep laggy farms contained to industrial areas, consent is key during PVP and pranks + no griefing!
- Joining late is fine! The servers always open and the players are very friendly and welcoming.
- You can play as much or as little as you like! The server usually resets with each major update.

off topic but after reading your micah yujin bf hcs (the minecraft one specifically) I imagined like after possibly YEARS you get married and after like irl marriage Micah prepares a server FOR ANOTHER MARRIAGE like its just u,him,ur and his friends vibing on a server (U DONT KNOW SHITT ABT WHAT OTHERS R PLANNING)
Then they decide to give u a task or a quest or smth idk and they prepare the wedding ceremony's place as u struggle, after coming back tho YOU COME ACROSS A WEDDING CEREMONY HALL (before there was something cheesy planned by Micah probably, idk like a tiny puzzle he prepared for you and as you go along you read the signs he wrote,THEY'RE ALL FUCKING SAPPY AND WHOLESOME)
U r now married both legally irl AND on minecraft,u bet he celebrates both of those events' dates even after YEARS AND YEARS
— minecraft wedding with micah hcs
micah has been planning this longer than you think. he's been laying down the steps while you were asleep or busy with work.
^ burying chests in places you've visited and made bases in—at world spawn, your first house, that one super big ravine that shocked the both of you, etc etc
as for the reasoning for sending you off on a quest,, it'd probably be something like, under the guise of getting all the achievements and needing resources. or he's literally just like, here's a quest for an incredible secret prize from me ;))
^ you going "oh do i get to marry you again?" as a joke and he laughs like "oh? you want to make it official again? renewing already?" but he can feel his heart rate increase
you end up reading his thoughts on different events both in the game and in real life. you know for someone who already had irl wedding vows, this guy sure has a Lot more to say.
^"this is the stuff i had to cut out so my vows wouldn't be 3 hours long." is somewhere in a book by the way. he's real for that!
( ^ still manages to write his mc vows with a book and quill. finishes the book after you say i do)
imagining there's signs at every location too with cheesy pickup lines that he's used on you in the past. the most iconic ones (the ones he genuinely spent time to think of and planned when to drop on you) plus the casual ones he'd drop throughout the day
he does something silly in a double chest like strategically placing flowers in a heart shape with diamonds/something special in the middle
micah downloads specific mods on both of your desktops to make sure that you can get the Perfect Experience
^ i'm thinking mrcrayfish's furniture mod and pam's harvestcraft kind of deal if those are still updated. i have no idea i haven't played minecraft in a Long time
you realize it looks familiar and like,, he definitely tried to mimic the original wedding venue in the game. it's actually kind of shocking how familiar it feels
I Know You Have Cats. there's a cat that's supposed to be skrunkly/skrunkly's long lost relative, um,,, skrinkly. for sure. every pet is in the audience!
micah setting up fireworks to go off, your friends shifting and throwing flowers at you, etc etc
^ has a big firework show during dinner at night. literally sprints around so he gets hungry and can eat cake
oh my god sorry but like,, you guys all being in a discord call singing and it's the vc lag would be funny. a memory for sure. but there's also those proximity based mic mod things (i watched sykkuno) which would definitely make it all more realistic!
makes a whole thing of crafting beds and putting them next to each other
makes sure there's a time slot somewhere for screenshots . there has to be a folder made and shared for screenshots of the wedding and it has a silly name i think.
^ would not hesitate to print the photos because he thinks they're cute and also a little silly. puts them with the real wedding photos and scatters them around your house
^ sorry but you having an irl wedding photo that's professional and gorgeous then a (still gorgeous) minecraft screenshot right next to it. shaders and everything like that is so perfect to me personally.

The Chain playing Minecraft HCs
Time - The only one with a house. He has a huge wheat farm, a bunch of animals, a bunch of dogs, he’s having such a good time. However, he has no idea how the game works and he’s walking around really awkwardly because he still hasn’t learnt the controls. Minding his own business, forgets the crafting recipes all the time and honestly just there for a good time. He’s enjoying himself. Get this man a fishing rod, because he will loose his mind when he realises he can fish in game as well.
Legend - Stealing from everyone. “Hey, has anyone seen my diamonds?” someone asks. “No, sorry.” Legend replies while wearing a full set of diamond armour he definitely did not have a few minutes prior. He’s very mediocre at the game, but he built a house and now he’s preoccupying himself by just... stealing everyone’s riches. Doesn’t usually play the game, so he gets bored very quickly. Terrorises the villagers as a result of this. Don’t give him a flint and steel, he's the griefer of the group. Killing Twilight’s minecraft animals, probably.
Wild - Speedrunning the game. He disappears in the first five minutes and they don’t see him for hours. The only idea they have of what he’s doing is the achievements popping up in the chat box. Like, oh looks like he’s getting stone, iron, oh he deflected a skeleton’s arrow- WAIT, NOW HE’S IN THE NETHER? BLAZE RODS? He’s killed the dragon, now. Next time they see him he has full netherite and the dragon egg. Sir. How have you done this.
Hyrule - Having mad internet issues. Lagging in and out of the game. Every movement looks like he is floating, and his mic? Shambles. Terrible. When his game isn’t running at five frames a second, he’s getting himself lost in caves and mines. Usually, he spends most of their gaming sessions wrestling his internet connection to let him play for more than two seconds at a time. “Brb, gonna go kick my router” or “I need a better laptop” are common things to hear from him.
Wind - Dying every five seconds. Wind? He's been playing the longest out of everyone so he probably knows the most. Knows all of the spawn mechanics, knows a lot of strange trivia, knows what blocks look good together. Can he actually use any of this knowledge? NO. He’s the wiki of the group, but he’s still kind of terrible at the game. He’s been dying to the same group of mobs for ten minutes. He’s so sick of everything. He’s having such a bad time. Please help him.
Sky - Currently living with Time. Very new to and pretty bad at the game, but doesn’t really care. He’s having a good time. He keeps saying he’ll make a house but they all know he won’t. He wants a bunch of parrots, so he spends four hours transporting a bunch of them back to Time’s house. And then Wind tells him to feed them a cookie. Cue Sky crying. Minding his own business as well, him and Time keeping the entire server fed with that wheat farm since he’s usually the one tending to it because he has nothing else to do. Happy to just walk around and talk with his friends while not doing anything.
Warriors - Living in a village, but like, nicely. He’s building walls around it, he’s killing mobs, he’s just improving a village. Replants all their crops, kicks Legend out when he’s terrorising the villagers, all that good stuff. Anyway, he finds a horse and it’s all over when he gets a saddle. Honestly, no one has seen him for a while, he’s literally just been in this one village building it up, it’s actually a little bit impressive. Probably the best builder out of all of them. Surprisingly bad at PVP.
Twilight - Tripping into all of the dangerous areas and dying. Nether? Didn’t know what it was, ended up dying in lava. Cave? Placed a torch on gravel, fell to his death. Deep Dark? Found the Warden. Never going in a cave again. He is just really clueless to what’s going on. Fairly decent at building, but aside from that? Hopeless. Though he does love the goats. And the dogs. And the cats. Probably has the most pets out of everyone and no one quite knows why, since he doesn’t even have a house for himself. Makes a grave for every animal he has that dies.
Four - Destroying everyone’s peace. He tried to play the game normally at the beginning, but he died and lost everything so he gave up. Now, he’s just wrecking any semblance of peace anyone has. Surprisingly good at trapping people. He has made... so many traps. Everyone is so cautious around things he builds because there is a 90% chance he has trapped it. Really good with redstone and the technical stuff, which no one else can even comprehend because “A comparator does WHAT.” His base would be full of little mechanisms for everything if he actually had one lol

ok i just want to add to the discussion just because this happened literally yesterday and i'm still salty asf about it. LAG DEATHS ARE UNFAIR. PERIOD. It's disproportionately putting the latinoamerican players at a massive disadvantage because following what i assume to be the admin's logic - they still have the 'choice' to explore and do dangerous things. Oh - lag? well, you knew you had lag so you shouldn't have gone in. So- WHAT? like, the implications of that is crazyyyy like- so they should just NEVER go out and do anything? play it safe 24/7 because of the risk? not even just in storytelling mode, it's unfair for the cc who WANTS TO MAKE CONTENT. I love all the admins and am constantly impressed by all the hard work they do but :( this really left a sour taste in my mouth
I’ve seen a lot of people echoing your sentiments over on twitter, and I agree. It’s like. What is Roier supposed to do? Stay in one place all day? He already doesn’t get to play the way he wants to, he’s said that several times, and now, if he wants his egg to live, he has to basically stay at home and do things he may not find fun.
One of the server’s rules is that a player shouldn’t do something to another player that messes with their their experience or their content. Why doesn’t that rule apply with the admins??

Thinking about it, fashion dreamer would have been a FANTASTIC $10 game. We're in the time of crazy inflation so really $25. I could see a greedy company pricing it at $35. Any more thought and it's just not worth it.
I love fashion dreamer, but there's not a lot of content. What is there is fun, but in like Style Savvy even without the story you'd still get to do characters hair and makeup and nails and pick out bags for them and scarves and bracelets and give them a WHOLE look. In fashion dreamer you JUST give them outfits.
The scoring system in fashion dreamer IS REALLY bad like it's not at all clear what counts for what category. Which is frustrating when it was crystal clear in style savvy.
The UI is clunky.
WTF were they thinking with "Type A" and "Type B"???? I'm not the only one to complain about this. But seriously it was done so poorly. It's clearly just men and women but late in development someone said "fuck make it gender inclusive". but they didn't change anything but the wording used. Ideally they would have not had types at all. But if they wanted to keep types they needed to make two versions of every item when modeling them. Some misinformed people are saying this isn't possible or is more work. But news flash, every item in this game was made from scratch. It was THEIR CHOICE to make completely separate items during modeling. They very well could have had their employees make two versions of each piece. Someone on the directors board didn't want it that way. Yeah they can't change it NOW but it's frustrating that they're pretending to be inclusive when it's very clear that from the games launch this wasn't in its design.
The game lags when you get more items, but also encourages you to get as many items as possible, but also has a 5000 item cap because of the lag.
I hate the online component lol I wasn't expecting this to be a 100% social game where you're missing content if you're not online ig. I just do notttttt want to interact with strangers in a game like this.
At the same time customers are currently pissed because the first event broke the servers so they took it down and it's been weeks and it's not back up. IMO limited events in a full price game like this is FUCKED, but they're ALSO online mode exclusive (that's so fucked!) so I can't even access the content.
It kinda seems like the reason it's not back is because staff went on Christmas break. If so ..... ooof
ALSO items from the event are fucking SINGLE USE. ?????????? this is a paid game what the fuck. Why are their single use anything? Why are events time limited? If you buy the game late you'll never get these items despite PAYING for them.
I wasn't really expecting much from the updates but really we should treat them like they don't exist. The first one just had two QOL features that should have been at launch. And with that in mind this is not a full priced game. It's not worth more than $25. This isn't the first time we've gotten a shallow, unfinished, and presumablypresumably rushed game from marvelous. and it probably won't be the last. I officially do not trust that team whatsoever. I doubt synsophia provided anything for the game other than the fashion itself, and maybe the NPCs, because the rest of it doesn't feel like their product in the way style savvy or PriMagi arcade does. I wish they didn't partner with them.
Like obviously me and everyone else wishes this was a style savvy game instead. But even without that, I wish this game had more soul. I also wished it felt finished? The actual gameplay loop feels finished but the UI does not. Not having all of the basic sort functions from Style Savvy (color / Item type / style) makes the game feel like a beta test. I stopped playing because someone will ask for red shoes and I have to scroll for 45 seconds to find them while I watch everything slowly pop in.
The removal of money and buying items in quantities is a blow to depth too, because in Style Savvy someone would ask for a cool shirt and you have to hope you still have one in stock. Meanwhile in fashion dreamer this is only a problem for the first hour before you have enough of everything.
Like style savvy had more AND had a story. frustrating. Again I don't mind no story, I get that that's better for modern audiences. But they lost me because of lack of depth everywhere else. ugh
I don't hate this game! I think it's a cute small play once a week or once a month pickup for 2 minutes game. But that's NOT how it's priced. I also think they're REALLY REALLY REALLY fumbling how they're handling events. If they wanted to handle events the way they are right now they game needed to be free to play.

my favorite pastime is imagining my blorbos playing minecraft. what kind of player would they be? what would they enjoy doing the most? idk what it is about minecraft but it can tell you so much about a person
fpk would primarily do redstone stuff. he's not very good at combat or exploring, he's a bit slow and his small hands don't mesh well with a keyboard, and he doesn't have the artistic creativity for building. but with redstone? he could build insane farms, or advanced mechanisms, he'd be the mf to spend all night making a working redstone computer within the game
grimm complements fpk's redstone skills insanely well. he has the eye for aesthetic and enjoys decorating fpk's base to make it look prettier. all those crazy mechanisms fpk builds? grimm will create the most impressive looking outer shell to make it more pleasing to look at. will always offer to decorate your house, and spends most of his time making the area around everyone's base look good
hornet is an explorer, she's the one lagging the server by loading hundreds of chunks every time she's on. she doesn't need a map to find specific locations, she memorizes where they are and can easily track them again after returning home. she would also be pretty good at combat, though her lack of patience means she often dies in very stupid ways. also, she loves bullying zote. asks fpk for redstone trap advice just so she can build a tnt trap under zote's house
holly almost exclusively makes cute little farms for animals and spends their time fishing. they stay away from combat (though they're surprisingly good at it) and instead choose relaxing activities. if anyone builds a strip mine, you'll often find them mining in peace. whenever anyone needs a lot of cave resources, or wool, or a shit ton of wheat and potatoes, holly is the one who has it all, and they will always let you take all of it
zote kind of sucks at everything, but, of course, pretends otherwise. he will challenge hornet to combat (loses), he will try to fight the zombies that surround his house (dies to a random creeper) and he will go mining for diamonds (drowns in lava). if the server had a death counter, he would be at the top, and of course would boast about it. whenever he's not attempting to fuck over hornet's house, he chills at holly's farm, and he will accidentally let all of their sheep out of their pen
lewk is still very young at this point in the au lore, so he mostly just watches either of his dads play. after getting his own account, he would just run around and check what the others are doing, offering to help them around (even if he doesn't really know what he's doing or how all of it works. he is a baby after all). he would particularly enjoy joining hornet on her adventures, and every time he dies, hornet teleports him back to her, despite being against using cheats. he also gets free stuff from her that she gave him using commands. their little secret. how did that baby get a fully enchanted netherite sword? clearly he's just that good
i know this is a bit random but i just felt like talking about the blorbos. your honor, i love them. they are everything to me ❤️

list of sites and apps i recommend for designing your DR shenanigans
part 2 - building a house
- - -
˚✦•·················• ✼ •·················•✦˚
LIST INCLUDES:
games:
Minecraft
The Sims 4
professional apps:
Coohom
˚✦•·················• ✼ •·················•✦˚
Coohom
WHAT: 3D visualization to realize your interior design fantasies, improving work efficiency and design quality for the best 3D presentation! [lifted from the official Coohom website]
PROS: it's very detailed, for one. the user only needs to know their dimensions and what materials they want to use. offers a wide range of things to add to the room. has a render feature; with images in perspective, panoramas, and video processes of the render itself.
CONS: it might be a bit overwhelming to first-time users, especially with the amount of controls. also requires mid to high speed internet for the experience. limited amount of render saves. also has a pro version, but that's only if you're unwilling to subscribe.
PERSONAL EXAMPLE:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
≿❈≾
Minecraft
WHAT: Minecraft is a 3-D computer game where players can build anything. The game which has been described as like an 'online Lego' involves building blocks and creating structures across different environments and terrains. Set in a virtual world the game involves resource gathering, crafting items, building, and combat. [lifted from Webwise]
PROS: stimulating, both as a game and for problem-solving skills. due to its sandbox nature, it allows for vast amounts of creative potential, and is not limited to real-world material constraints (e.g., fantasy objects, plant life). you don't need to worry much about missing materials—it's constantly being updated, not to mention there are countless tutorials online for building certain things. also has the option for customisable avatars.
CONS: purchased, not free. also contains in-app purchases. servers can lag. social interactions are included, if you're not into that or because of cyberbullying, but i highly doubt you need to talk to other people just to make your DR house.
PERSONAL EXAMPLE:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[NOTE: download TLauncher for desktop, and HappyMod for mobile; lmfao lemme be real with y'all and say my game's fuckin pirated]
≿❈≾
The Sims 4
WHAT: The Sims 4 is a social simulation game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fourth major title in The Sims series, and is the sequel to The Sims 3. [lifted from Google Search]
PROS: like minecraft, it's a game. it's meant to be stimulating and functional. the sims 4 in particular has the best graphics and details out of all the games in the series. for desktop players, they can create almost anything and everything they want for a DR house. the base game is also free.
CONS: the base game is just that—the base game. that's not to say it's not fun, but it simply doesn't offer the full experience without the extension packs. you can download custom content, but it's definitely a long process, especially if you accidentally download broken or corrupted files. it's also...incredibly tiring to play, especially if you're on some kind of limit on your game.
PERSONAL EXAMPLE:
Tumblr media
[NOTE: you can also use The Sims for creating your DR self, family/families, S/O's, and et cetera; also, I'm using mods and custom content in my game]
