All of you head gone out for a night out after the long, hectic race you had. It had been a good weekend despite the shift the weather that caused everyone to go onto a panic towards the end.

You, your best friend, Jenson, and your teammate, Mark, were all on the podium after the race with Jenson in P1, you in P2 and Mark in P3.

Jenson being Jenson insisted everyone go out to celebrate and that's how you all ended up at the club.

You were on the dance floor with Jenson, the two of you had just finished a bottle of tequila, dancing the alcohol out of your systems. The man had his arms around you, you were pressed up against him; it meant nothing to the two of you, laughing and having a good time.

Mark, your teammate, who watched the two of you from the bar, took the display of affection in another way.

The Australian never did like the way Jenson was affectionate with you, he found it annoying and stifling and on more than one occasion, you had to talk mark out of telling off Jenson.

"I'm gonna get a drink!" You shouted over to the music to Jenson, the man nodded. "Get me one too!" He pressed a fat kiss to your cheek before letting you go.

You wandered your way through the crowd until you finally found the bar, propping your elbow on the grimy counter with your chin in your palm as you waited for the bartender.

"What was that?" The man next to you speaks, getting your attention. You look over to see Mark next to you and you smile at him.

"hi Marky," you shift to stand between his legs, stumbling a bit but he catches you. "Why is Jenson kissing you?"

You looked at him confused, "Jenson didn't kiss me?"

"He did, I saw him."

"Oh!" You giggled, realizing what he meant, "you mean on my cheek? it was nothing."

"That was nothing?" Mark was getting annoyed with your dismissal of Jenson's affection towards you.

The man turns you so your back is pressed to the counter, his hands on your hips. "So if I do this," he leans down to kiss your shoulder, "that's nothing?"

You shrugged, not really getting the point of this. He moves up, kissing up your neck to your jaw but not before he stops at the sensitive spot by your ear. He smiles to him when he hears the faintest of whimpers from you.

"Mark-" you start but he cuts you off, finally about to kiss you. "If I do this.. is it nothing?" he kisses you, hard.

Your hand rested on his jaw, the man has you pinned between himself and the counter. Your cheeks are red when he finally pulls away from you.

From the corner of your eye, you see Jenson there with a smile on his face. "I came looking for my drink but I mean, I guess I see why you didn't get it."

You and Jenson laughed, the blonde patting your teammate on his shoulder. "About fucking time, mate. took you two forever."

WAIT, HELP, WHY DON'T CHARLES AND MAX FOLLOW EACH OTHER ON INSTAGRAM? WHAT DID I MISS?

It all starts at the Red bull ring, better known as the temple of lestappen. It's where our boys shared the podium for the first time in F1 in 2019 and that race in particular is also the reason why they don't follow each other on social media lmao.

So our boys start 1-2, Charles in pole position starts well while Max has issues with his antistall that cause him to drop down to eighth after the first couple of turns. Max recovers and starts marching through the field. Around lap 23 Charles pits and Lewis takes the lead of the race but he damages his front wing by going wide and driving over a sausage kerb so he had to pit for a replacement and Max, then p2, inherited the lead. He then pits the following lap, handing the lead back to Charles and the stage is set for him to charge through Seb and Bottas to battle Charles for the win. And that's what happened with three laps to go, when Max managed to pass Charles. Now lap 69 - I'm not even kidding lmao - is where the drama happens, ofc Charles is going to fight Max for the win and Max is going to fight to hold onto the win, so Max takes a wide line through the corner on the inside of Charles, they do make contact and Charles leaves the track and drives over kerb as a result. Max holds onto the win and Charles is absolutely pissed.

Now these pictures are hilarious to look at when you think about how they were theree years later, the second time they shared the podium in Austria;

But yeah 2019, Charles pretty pissed and he felt Max should've gotten a penalty or something from the stewards but the stewards deemed it a legal move.

Now this is pivotal, not just in the story of Max and Charles, but in Charles' own story and career in formula 1. It's a turning point for him. He takes note of this situation and is very much like "well if he can do it, so can I" and "I'm just as good as him and I'm going to prove that to myself, to him and to the world" from then on out. He's more aggressive and takes more risks post Austria 2019, and he goes on to win in Spa and Monza that year. Max finishes in P3 in the championship, Charles finishes P4, just twelve points between them. They finish the year in Abu Dhabi with another podium, this time Max is in P2 and Charles is in P3.

During the media exchanges post race Austria 2019, Max is asked about Charles and gets "is this going to affect you two" type questions and Max is like "why wouldn't we be ok? we're going home on the same flight so*shrugs*". At some point post the race Charles unfollows Max on social media because until then, they had followed each other and it should be noted that Charles typically follows everyone on the grid with the exception of Max (+ Bottas, he likely unfollowed because of the bowling incident of the Hungarian gp 2021 lmao, Charles is many things, consistently petty included 😂😭). So they do share a flight home to Monaco, on Max's jet I'm pretty sure lmao, and it's just so funny to imagine a petty, pissed Charles sitting across from Max, who is most likely completely unaware about the unfollowing, and waiting for him to notice lmao. Max or whoever runs Max's account majority of the time, also unfollowed Charles in turn. They've tagged each other in posts over the years (such as Seb's leaving dinner) so they know the others @, and they like posts about the other, but neither has made the move to refollow the other on their public Instagrams which is funny and so petty and so annoying all at the same time lmfao. The follow button is too much for them lmao.

Mercedes got the P1. As I wished quietly.

Even at the very beginning of the season, I’ve always been confident that this was going to be Lewis’ year. He didn’t exactly hide the fact that he’s worked for it.

It wasn’t just that; he also won his home race. So while Christian and the Red Bull crew are upset that Mercedes took the lead, I certainly am jumping up and down in joy. In secret. I will always be a Lewis supporter first and a girl in a Red Bull jacket second.

I made sure to tell him that I’d be there as soon as my job was done for the day. By that, I meant that I need to make sure Christian and the other Red Bull personnel are recognizing Daniel’s P3 finish in public, not bitch about Mercedes getting another P1 and P2 — with Williams’ Valtteri Bottas finishing. They’ve landed on the podium.

I’m sticking with Daniel the entire time, my eyes are keeping an eye out for Christian and Vettel in case they need me.

Waiting patiently inside the cool down room, my hand sticks out a towel in Daniel’s direction. He looks at me with a questioning smile. “Wipe off your sweat. You’ll catch a cold,” I explain.

“Mother Tilly, you’re so sweet,” he coos, but his teasing smile eventually goes away as he thanks me. “You coming out to celebrate later?”

“Celebrate what?” I ask him, wondering if there’s a party hosted after the race. If there was, I wasn’t told. Or I’m not invited. “I don’t recall Horner telling me about a celebration.”

“Oh no,” he shakes his head before leaning in to whisper in my ear, “we don’t party with the bosses all the time. I’m talking about just anyone that isn't the boss.”

I frown, “You called me Lady Boss more than twice.”

He wraps his arm around me, pulling me close as he looks at me with a lazy smirk, “We do like to party with powerful women. We all know what’s behind all of that dominance.”

I recoil, pushing him away with a dirty look as he bursts out of laughter. His amusement affects my own as I smile, snatching the towel he dried himself off with and smacking him with it.

“Such a perverted thing to say, Ricciardo,” I smack him again, this time my hand lands on his chest lightly.

“Between you and Toto someone’s got to give up some control— OW JESUS, TILLY!” Daniel wheezes as I slap him again. If he couldn’t stop speaking, I suppose smacking the air out of his lungs would do it.

The bad thing about our banter is that Lewis caught onto it. He takes my vulnerable situation as an opportunity to sling his arm around me. “Daniel, what were you trying to tell her again? Look at her, she’s so flushed!”

“Just because you’re the winner it doesn’t mean you get to make fun of me, Lewis Hamilton,” I try to push him off but he’s giggling and has his arm around me still. Daniel does the same, putting me in between the two of them as they continue to joke around with me.

It doesn’t take long until they’re called up to the podium to be presented with Lewis’ trophy. The crowd roars in excitement and cameras click and flash. I’m standing at the side, the sight of the top three has me squirming in happiness. Each of them has a bottle of champagne in hand and it doesn’t take Daniel, Valtteri and Lewis long to pop the cork.

My brain begins to melt at the overwhelming excitement that takes over my body. I’m not sure if this is just a temporary thing, but I know for a fact that it feels so… euphoric. The moment I’m in the haze, my rational thoughts and actions are long forgotten.

Lewis turns to look at the side, gesturing at something that isn’t me. At first I wanted to ask if he’s speaking to me, but a pair of heavy hands settled on my hips as I heard a, “‘Scuse me, Schatz.”

My head snaps at Toto’s direction as he walks up to celebrate with Bottas and Lewis. The Mercedes Team Principal, as if he’s anticipating it, lifted his chin up as Lewis showered him with the champagne. The alcohol wastes no time to soak his face down to his shirt, him grinning mischievously as Valteri continues to soak him too.

My brain short circuited for a second, and my eyes involuntarily watched as Toto’s right hand ran through his now-damp hair. I haven’t even paid attention to anyone but him. Daniel had taken this as a chance to drag me to where he was once and showered me with champagne.

“Daniel! What the fu—“ but all I hear is hollering. From the crowd. From the drivers on the podium. From my family, who are standing by the front. I can see Sylvie and Stevie with their phones out, probably taking the most embarrassing photos that will last a lifetime.

My baby blue button-up is soaking wet, I’m thankful that I never wore full makeup besides from the tube of red lipstick that I bring with me.

Daniel continues to encourage me to drink, and just to fuck around, my mouth opens up with my chin lifted as Daniel hollers and pours champagne into my mouth. The liquid splatters and the euphoria washes over me. My eyes are trained at Toto for a moment, watching him as he continues to look at his driver proudly before he turns to look at me with a smug smile.

I can’t even say anything to him, my brain has left. And even if I do say something, Daniel has already beaten me to it by nudging me.

I grin as I witness him drink champagne on his shoe— they call it a shoey. It’s an Australian thing, I believe. At this moment I wonder what kind of tradition did Britain have. But my brain disappears once more when he offers me his shoe.

My mind said no for a moment, but what did I have to lose?

My hand snatches the alcohol-filled wear, cringing at the burning sensation that fills my throat as I wipe my mouth. A grin remains in my lips as everyone begins to clap for the winners.

I can’t help but look at Toto, who returns my look as he winks and smirks. Like he’s got tricks up his sleeve to show. I roll my eyes with exaggeration, chuckling as I mouth, “Congratulations.”

If this won’t make it to the sports headlines, then I don’t know what will.

felipe massa and the championship that got away: an analysis

prompted mostly by massa pissing me off so bad with his campaign of misinformation (like bro sue the weather while you’re at it); this involved rewatching absolute disasterclasses and a few snoozefests during my free wednesday (the weather was terrible as well so took the time to refresh my memory on some of the less memorable 2008 races and compile this mess) and my eyes were bleeding so please show some love

ok, so on a more serious note, he wasn’t absolutely dreadful (apart from in the wet); my biggest issue is that we probably don’t know just how good that 2008 ferrari really was; in the hands of someone with much better quali/race pace it could probably have dominated much more strongly; i think his performance was quite average considering the potential the car had; he had some brilliant weekends as well, but i think they are quite significantly overshadowed by the dreadful ones; then again, 2008 wasn’t lewis’ best season either, and this analysis isn’t really to compare the two, it’s mostly to showcase that massa’s assertion of it being a ‘perfect’ championship isn’t quite true…is all this necessary? ofc not, but i’m going to have some fun with it anyhow;

i also made this because the concept of ‘deserving’ something is one i deeply deeply despise in sport; the only thing you can bring to the table with such discourse is your own subjective opinion; you win or you don’t, end of; you can, of course, be robbed of something when a rule is indeed broken, but the concept of ‘deserving a championship due to how you performed over the course of a season’ is frankly stupid; and do i think massa was robbed? no. he can’t prove that crashgate was the very thing that cost him the championship because it conveniently ignores everything else that happens afterwards. there’s a clear break in the chain of causation. he neither ‘deserves’ it in my opinion, nor was he robbed of it and i also don’t like the historical revisionism he’s campaigning for either so here’s a full rundown of felipe massa’s season (i tried to be as impartial as i could in this):

top 2 in the driver’s standings (included only for the sake of completeness, please don’t cite toto’s 'wikipedia statistics' quote at me):

some background information:

the 2008 championship comes right after the spygate shitshow of the previous season; fernando alonso leaves mclaren for renault after one year; heikki kovalainen replaces him to drive alongside lewis hamilton at mclaren; felipe massa and kimi raikkonen (the reigning world champion) are teammates at ferrari (kimi’s 2008 season is also interesting to revisit considering the internal ferrari politics at play but i’ll save it for a different time); it's an eighteen race season, and for this season traction control has been banned! (it's important to mention considering the ban had been brought up several times over the season as a reason to explain some of felipe's performances considering he had never driven a formula one car without traction control before);

moreover, the fia’s decision-making this season was questionable to say the least; this is obviously not felipe's fault ofc, but there were a few decisions which he had certainly benefited from at lewis’ expense (spa comes to mind…);

2008 scoring system quick refresher: p1: 10 points, p2: 8 pts, p3: 6 pts; scoring only up to eighth place;

for the race results i will only include the top 3 as well as lewis if he finishes off the podium; for the championship standings i will include the top 3 in the championship as they were after every race (+ HAM/MAS/RAI if they were outside) and on how many points they were after every race;

australian gp (0 points, dnf)

bit of an embarrassing start tbh…massa qualifies p4 but spins in the first corner of the first lap all on his own and hits the barrier; he manages to get back into the pits though and get a front wing change; however, on lap 26 he collides with DC when trying to overtake him; DC retires, but massa continues only to retire from an engine failure a few laps later; pretty shit start to the season

race result: lewis hamilton p1, nick heidfeld p2, nico rosberg p3 (the infamous brocedes podium btw)

malaysian gp (0 points, dnf)

much better qualifying, ferrari clearly has pace as massa qualifies on pole, with raikkonen in p2; however on lap 31 felipe spins off and gets trapped in the gravel; this race was a masterclass from kimi btw, he won by nearly twenty seconds from kubica in p2; also before massa crashed, kimi also managed to get ahead of felipe in the first round of pit stops after pitting a lap after felipe by producing a brilliant in-lap

race result: kimi raikkonen p1, robert kubica p2, heikki kovalainen p3 (lewis p5- qualifying penalty for impeding drivers in quali and had started p8 + slow pitstop by mclaren in the race)

championship standings: HAM (14 points), RAI (11), HEI (11) + MAS (0)

bahrain gp (10 points, p1)

it’s kubica on pole (who i also need to mention because he arguably was the best driver of the 2008 season) and massa starts p2; felipe overtakes kubica in the first corner and then maintains the lead for the rest of the race; very good performance for him and good bounce-back from the first two races

race result: felipe massa p1, kimi raikkonen p2, robert kubica p3 (lewis p13- bit of a disaterclass from him this time around, as he went into anti-stall at the start due to going into a wrong engine mode and dropped positions; he then drives right into the back of fernando’s renault and had to get a nose change, dropping him to p18)

championship: RAI (19), HEI (16), HAM (14) + MAS (10)

spanish gp (8 points, p2)

ferrari are dominating the past few races and the same happens in spain; kimi pole, felipe p3; massa overtakes alonso at the start and it's a ferrari 1-2 procession to the end basically; the race was basically sorted with the overtakes made at the start; also a literal snoozefest;

race result: kimi raikkonen p1, felipe massa p2, lewis hamilton p3

championship: RAI (19), HAM (20), KUB (19) + MAS p4 (18)

turkish gp (10 points, p1)

actually a pretty good race from massa; starts on pole and wins the race; lewis comes in second, executing a three-stopper (arguably this strategy cost mclaren the chance of fighting for the win but they were worried about tyres…still i think, a bit on the conservative side from mclaren in terms of strategy and considering lewis’ amazing pace relative to massa bit of a missed opportunity)

race result: felipe massa p1, lewis hamilton p2, kimi raikkonen p3

championship: RAI (35), MAS (28), HAM (28)

monaco gp (6 points, p3)

wet monaco and absolute chaos! (great race to rewatch btw); massa qualified on pole, but then lost the lead because of a mistake in the wet; lewis wins, and also brilliant race by kubica;

race result: lewis hamilton p1, robert kubica p2, felipe massa p3

championship: HAM (38), RAI (35), MAS (34)

canadian gp (4 points, p5)

massa qualifies p6, ferrari fuel rig problem in the pit lane meant he dropped down to p17; he fights back to p5; and because hamilton crashed into raikkonen in the pit lane, he managed to outscore the both of them that weekend; also robert wins! relative to the others, a pretty good weekend for massa;

race result: robert kubica p1, nick heidfeld p2, david coulthard p3 (every time i remember DC raced in 2008 it’s like a shock to my system)

championship: KUB (42), MAS (38), HAM (38) + RAI, p4 (35)

french gp (10 points, p1)

again, ferrari are pretty much dominating in quali; kimi takes pole, felipe p2; it was kimi’s race to win and he was comfortably leading however he then had to slow down due to his car suffering from an exhaust pipe breaking and hence, loss of engine power; felipe therefore, inherits the lead and wins the race;

race result: felipe massa p1, kimi raikkonen p2, jarno trulli p3 (lewis- p10, he had to take a grid drop for the incident in the pitlane in canada when he ran into the back of kimi; in the race he has to serve a drive-through penalty for cutting a corner and gaining an advantage)

championship: MAS (48), KUB (46), RAI (43) + HAM, p4 (38)

british gp (0 points, p13)

eyeee think this race is best summarised with pictures? allow me:

an all-timer of a race, lewis hamilton masterclass;

race result: lewis hamilton p1, nick heidfeld p2, rubens barichello p3

championship: HAM (48), MAS (48), RAI (48)

german gp (6 points, p3)

massa qualified p2 alongside lewis; this is one of lewis’ best drives of the season i think; he was leading the race comfortably in the beginning stages, pulling away from felipe like crazy (he gained 1.8 sec in the first lap, had a 3.7 sec lead by lap 4, 11 sec by lap 18, clearly on a mission); mclaren don’t pit him under safety car when everyone else around him does, so he has eight laps to build a large gap before having to eventually pit himself; he does on lap 50 and overtakes massa and piquet jr for the win (some really nice overtakes btw); massa really just didn’t have the pace to compete;

race result: lewis hamilton p1, nelson piquet jr p2, felipe massa p3

championship: HAM (58), MAS (54), RAI (51)

hungarian gp (0 points, p17/dnf)

this one was bad luck because massa suffered an engine failure when leading the race; it would have probably been his best win of his career had he not dnf'ed- good overtake on lewis at the start

race result: heikki kovalainen p1, timo glock p2, kimi raikkonen p3 (lewis- p5, suffered a tyre puncture on lap 40; tbf the early seasons also show lewis is still learning about tyre management and that he’s still prone to overcooking his tyres making them vulnerable to punctures)

championship: HAM (62), RAI (57), MAS (54)

european gp (10 points, p1)

qualifies on pole and wins the race; he nearly manages to crash into sutil when released into the pit lane after his pit stop; the team is charged with 10,000 euros after the race but felipe keeps his win (it would be dealt with so differently these days lmao but can’t really blame him)

race result: felipe massa p1, lewis hamilton p2, robert kubica p3

championship: HAM (70), MAS (64), RAI (57)

belgian gp (10 points, p1)

this race still makes my blood boil; funnily enough felipe wins after not leading a single lap in this race! lewis gets handed a 25-second penalty by the stewards and gets demoted to p3; quick recap: lewis tried to pass kimi at the bus stop chicane, but he cut the corner and got into the lead; he allowed kimi to re-pass him because he gained an advantage by going off track; but smartly, he passes kimi again at la source; post-race he’s handed a penalty; mclaren then appeal and say that charlie whiting himself said that lewis had given the place back to kimi completely legally; thing is, charlie isn’t the stewards, who say that lewis didn’t give kimi enough of an advantage; it causes a bit of a storm in the media, niki lauda goes off and calls it the ‘worst judgment in the history of f1’; thing is, it's a really grey area, to some extent i can understand the stewards’ reasoning, but the severity of the punishment is absolutely ridiculous and also points to how inconsistent the fia is...handing him 25 seconds just doesn’t fit the crime at all; (also the last four laps are just pure drama in general! worth a watch);

(if i had a nickel for every time felipe massa got handed a lucky win in 2008, i’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice)

race result: felipe massa p1, nick heidfeld p2, lewis hamilton p3

championship: HAM (76), MAS (74), KUB (58) + RAI, p4 (57)

italian gp (3 points, p6)

bit of a disasterclass, qualifies p6, finishes p6; but funnily enough, he still finished ahead of both kimi and lewis as the both of them were sent out on the wrong tyres in qualifying and only managed to qualify p14 and p15; btw beautiful overtakes by lewis (he finished p7- just one place behind felipe); also seb wins!

race result: sebastian vettel p1, keikki kovalainen p2, robert kubica p3

championship: HAM (78), MAS (77), KUB (64) + RAI, p4 (57)

singapore gp (0 points, p13)

crashgate! he gets pole (quite an impressive pole lap i must admit) and leads the race until piquet jr crashes, and felipe pits, ferrari release him too early and he drives off with the fuel hose still attached to his car…to that i say, maybe sue your pit crew as well

race result: fernando alonso p1, nico rosberg p2, lewis hamilton p3

championship: HAM (84), MAS (77), KUB (64) + RAI, p4 (57)

japanese gp (2 points, p7)

now this one is a disasterclass on all fronts, but if you want drama i recommend watching it; felipe qualified p5; he managed to crash into hamilton and got himself a drive-through penalty; he also tangled with bourdais when attempting to overtake him on lap 50; bourdais was blamed for it and got a 25-second penalty after the race; thing is, i don’t see how it’s only bourdais’ fault tbh? massa squeezed bourdais as he attempted to pass him going into the first corner and bourdais couldn’t just disappear…anyway the decision to penalise bourdais was criticised a lot, also considering that penalising him went against charlie whiting’s pre-race direction that the car exiting the pit-lane has the right of way (which bourdais was);

race result: fernando alonso p1, robert kubica p2, kimi raikkonen p3 (lewis hamilton- p12, bit of a disasterclass from him as well)

championship: HAM (84), MAS (79), KUB (72) + RAI, p4 (63)

chinese gp (8 points, p2)

qualifies p3, behind lewis and kimi; lewis comfortably leads the race and wins it fifteen seconds ahead of p2; massa finished second after raikkonen is instructed to let him through (ferrari team orders, bit of a deja vu)

race result: lewis hamilton p1, felipe massa p2, kimi raikkonen p3

championship: HAM (94), MAS (87), KUB (75) + RAI, p4 (69)

brazilian gp (10 points, p1)

ahead of the last race of the season, massa could still win the title if he wins the race and lewis finishes p6 or lower; massa did all he could: he got pole and won the race; mclaren opted for an incredibly conservative strategy in the race (they only needed to secure p5, and considering how they lost the title only the year before, it’s explicable): for e.g. waiting for a relatively long time to get lewis off the inters when it began to dry during the first part of the race;

race result: felipe massa p1, fernando alonso p2, kimi raikkonen p3 (lewis- p5 and world champion!)

pq2 thoughts after finishing it!:

i think. it is a g. game. it is a persona game i will admit!

no but srs i think its good if youve never played a persona game which i assume is why its on 3ds only. it really does feel like discount persona with all of the last three cast thrown in? and some of the gameplay improvements (this game's gameplay aged better than fes and p2's LMAOO) i guess its a compromise to reach fans who've never actually played the main games cause they dont own a playstation console or something.

at the same time it makes no sense for "new fans" to play because you need at least some background knowledge of the prev characters and plot to care.

in my case i knew everything abt p3 and p5, only osmosis knowledge of the plot of p4 so i ended up using the p4 cast the least in my playthrough :( so theres that. not worth playing if u dont care abt the other casts imo

...so we agree the characters are the selling point here, its advertised as a mega crossover and whatever but. people complaining that theyre "watered down" to base traits or even traits they didnt have in the first place are Right LOL except for a scant few characters who get a lot of expansion. but for the most part none of them are themselves (like yusuke... 😔.... akihiko.... aki not as bad as yusuke but they have the same writing problem)

no one expects the characters to rly individually shine when theres so many ofc, the game even pokes fun at the "limited screen time" joke but like. what else is there to this? 🤔 well

character interactions! those were good. everyone expected detective princes meetup to be really great but i loved the other pairs like haru and mitsuru (heirs with distant dads...), and the PQ OC girl with futaba :] (introvert friends!!)(theyre like sucrose and collei in this year's windblume if you go there)

speaking of akechi though. yea he's part of the list of characters that surprisingly did not get butchered and in fact expanded upon in this game. aside from akechi it's P3 FeMC.

others i liked were P5 MC (his dialogue choices are SO out there), shinjiro aragaki, ken amada, yukiko amagi maybe yosuke hanamura and P4MC but their personalities just stayed the same instead of getting possible new insight?

i liked velvet room guys too theyre goated frfr! yes including marie. even i was surprised (probably cause akechi gets to poke fun at her and the twins hdjdhdhd)(cute)

i cant put P3 male MC anywhere cause i will always be biased towards him 😔🫰 (he was great btw)

but the crow character expansion in particular intrigued me and leads me to accept this game as canon like some ATLUS USA reps intended. akechi: stripped away of his obligations is a cunning, introspective and overall respectable young man and the game showcased all of his core traits well. he purposefully isolates himself from the main group and gets called out on it, consistently is the one that makes the most sense in discussions, gets various little moe moments... he honestly seems like he doesnt know what to make of all this forced bonding with strangers but he cant help to indulge anyway. 😭 he's vocal in discussions about their plans but a passive :) face in the background during fun moments until he's addressed or curious. the way he furthers the narrative along like they wouldnt get as far as they did without him i feel. but between all of that he was the main character to me.

the end scene where he seems regretful that he has to leave and go back to his revenge plot.... hurts. because for all intents and purposes we just saw akechi if he didnt have all that baggage and was just allowed to exist as himself. a smart guy with a whole life ahead of him. but he didnt choose that.

oh god that emoji is huge but anyway. FeMC!! ^_^ the problems of toxic positivity being addressed in her arc was great. they really tried to give her as much love as possible without being too happy (persona games tend to make their characters suffer anyway to even things out) and it was great! her writing reminds me of kasumire's mental illness but with less romance tease pandering.

ah yes and the obligatory Persona side game OC... hikari and nagi. honestly wished they didnt exist as much as i liked hikari's thing 😔 it got old and outright cringe man im sorry like surely the devs could come up with something better than this?? way to not explain enlil and mess with the in-universe power scaling too LMAO. 2/10 is being generous!

anyway its a fairly short game in persona standards so i cant really say it's time wasted when i got so many character interaction crumbs..... i guess i lucked out by liking the characters that i do instead of ones that kinda got shafted in this. (except for aki but 😔 i just kinda accepted his blown out of proportions awkwardness outside of P3)

it's..... a 6/10 from me overall! music and velvet room attendants + nanako cameo DLC carried

now is the perfect moment to tell you my brain is a worm and forgets about a race the next monday so i currently have a huge void rn in my head when it comes to racing BUT i think I can remember some stuff.

let's start with f3

i've said it a lot here, but arthur's weekend in paul ricard was amazing. i know people think i'm overhyping him and stuff but I was there and saw his 3 races and god that dude knew we wanted to see some overtakes and he delivered! his weekend was simply amazing and i will forever keep a good memory of this!

juan manuel correa. don't need to add more stuff about this, just him racing is a great highlight of the season

trident giving us the battle with prema and getting the title. i wasnt expecting a battle this close

a few of the f3 drivers were really surprising and never gave up after a bad weekend to come back fighting for p3/p2 in the championship: victor martins, clement novalak, jack doohan

every f3 team getting at least one podium

would like to talk about the drivers who had to drop out, real heartbreaking (you all know who i'm gonna name, pierre louis chovet, my beloved french child you deserved so much better than that and stop jinxing by saying you're back in f3 with a good team when we all know it's not true cuz you are not in the rumors talk)

now f2

marcus armstrong getting podiums and a win like lmao i still cant believe it is true

theo's season. he really impressed me by getting p5 in the championship even though he didnt had much podiums. he showed consistency in the points despite injuries and crash and that was impressive

dan ticktum actually impressed me this year

ofc oscar winning the championship and making me keep this url probably until i die

once again i wanna talk about the clownery of the seats swap and drivers dropping out to go to another team (cuz money) it's getting ridiculous

also drivers who had to drop out without coming back to a new team. heartbreaking that their season got finished so soon

i was gonna say that hitech's curse was surprising me but i mean, jüri having luck in this world? what was i thinking

Are there any game events or future writing prodjects that you're looking forward to? I hope you're getting enough rest as burn out can just straight up suck for all parties involved haha

There are a lot of stuff I’m looking forward to, to be perfectly honest! :D

For events, I’m personally looking forward to the Caviar event! I’m already saving up embers to try to get him, I’m only like doing a couple summons for the current event because, we can always get the boosted summonables later? Ofc I know Cassata and Toso aren’t in the pool permanently, but I already have Cassata so I’ll probably try a few times for Toso and then stop cuz I need to save (speaking of I’ve gotten Cassata twice and I don’t know why x3)

As for writing projects… I do have a few ideas for Food Fantasy ones, but nothing too concrete yet aside from a fluffy oneshot for most of my ships I’m working on when I can. I also am working on the info for my HTTYDxFoodfan au when I can.

And if it’s alright…. I’m going to ramble about other writing projects not related to FF for a little bit.

I’ve got a few ideas I plan on trying to write for my Persona 3 universe cuz I’ve changed a lot cuz of my ocs in it, one for my P3!Megan’s Social Link and how she meets her boyfriend and gets involved with SEES, one for another OC I haven’t done much with that I need to fix, and one for a different oc who completely alters one event that I need to add a little more before I can post it on my AO3. Not to mention stuff relating to PQ x3

In the same universe, I’ve got to sit down and rewatch the original anime for Persona 4 so I can figure out how I’m going to have my story for it go considering the issues I’ve had before (really personal issues tbh, I don’t mind talking about it but not right now as it’s not needed for this), but I can’t wait to write two of my oldest ocs’ journey there ^^ (after the hell the two went through in the fic before that I still need to write they deserve a break)

And there’s my OFF fic I’m working on, currently kinda stuck on chapter 3 but it’s going to be a short chapter anyway as the next is mostly going to be a boss fight, but I already have ideas for a sequel tbh x3

I also am working on ideas for a Miraculous Ladybug story from like, last year? That’s when I created my first OC for it anyway x3 gotta get caught up on season 2 in time for when the rest is released in December tho.

I’ve also got a fanfic for a horror game that I need to buckle down on and get past the slog of chapter 2 so I can get to the bits I really want to write, yes I like horror games, you’d be surprised how many I like XD

There’s also a crossover fanfic I need to get my rear in gear at some point to start writing the next chapter, it’s a long fic but I still love the idea.

And lastly, recently redesigned my main character for Yo-kai Watch(for extremely personal reasons), I am going to try to finish the fanfics I have started but haven’t finished yet now that ‘I’ve done that ^^

It’s probably a surprise to see me have so many ideas for different fandoms, but that’s how I roll honestly, ideas come naturally to me and despite getting flack for bouncing about like a bouncy ball(which irritates me cause I work at my own pace on stuff and I refuse to be forced to work on something when I don’t have the drive for it right then and there), I love all my ideas and even if it takes me years time finish them, I have the time and will to do so ^^

As for getting rest, I am trying to rest as much as I can, I’ve hardly written anything recently tbh because I’m so tired ^^; Honestly, I cannot wait for this damn Pizza event to be over, or at the very least for me to finally smack that last clown out of a hundred so I can get Pizza, I’ve got 53 so Im doing good, cuz after that I’m just going to chill for a GOOD LONG while to recover. As well as save up for Caviar! ^^
