Second of all, what does it say about you that you assume we must be seeing this as activism? Not everything is activism. People want to save this show because they love it, not because it will fulfill some political goals. Why must our hobbies be activism? Why must our free time be spent doing activism and nothing else? Capitalism tells us we must spend every waking moment working, and if we don't, we are failures to society. People like you have taken that protestant work ethic and replaced "work" with "activism." You tell us that we must spend every waking moment doing some kind of activism, and if we don't, we are failures to the cause.

I won't deny the vocabulary of activism is present in those tags. "Hoping and fighting" are definitely the words of an activist. But assuming that we all think hoping and fighting for a television show to be renewed counts as activism makes me wonder about your own biases.

I scrolled down your blog. It's mostly i/p posts with the occasional random poll, or even, *gasp!* fandom post. Do you see posting on tumblr as activism? Because I don't. This applies to everyone about every topic ever. Posting on tumblr isn't activism. Posting on tumblr tells your followers what your beliefs are, and that's about all it accomplishes. Maybe you do actually engage in activism. Maybe you do send people money, send letters to politicians, go to rallies and events. If so, then yeah! That's activism! But if all you're doing is reblogging tumblr posts... what do you think you're accomplishing? Are you trying to feel like Katniss Everdeen? Are you trying to feel like an important revolutionary by posting to tumblr?

People are multifaceted and can care about multiple things at once. A lot of people come here to engage in Fandom because it's the Fandom Website. If you think that's all we are, well... that's on you. Because "our flag fan" isn't the only thing I am, nor would I even put it in the top 5 list of things I am.

I don't think renewasacrew is activism. I don't think anyone does.

The world is hard and scary and people are dying every day. God forbid we try and find joy in anything rather than do activism for 40 hours a week.

- she gets this whole spiel ready to convince you, but doesn't even get to finish it because you're jumping at the chance to help her out, no explanation needed

- nancy already got whatever information she needed the next day, because (y/n) is eager to please and nance is just honestly impressed

- then nancy is slowly bringing you to more and more outings, whether you two just ran into each other or you get invited deliberately for having an affinity to collect important information

- as nancy eases you into her friend group the others are a wee bit wary of you but you grow on them just as quickly

- eddie and robin like to pick on you because they find you easy to mess with, but it's okay because it's funny lol

- nancy sometimes half-heartedly shoos them away from you after getting tired of hearing their voices too much

- other times though she is only acting like she's on your side, then joins them to take a jab at you here and there, all the while her chin is perched on top of your head and fingers are pinching your cheeks

- after that you constantly start greeting eddie by body slamming into him with a running start

- eddie is happy to reciprocate, robin and nancy just roll their eyes knowing there's no correcting you two

- when eddie bruises your ego too much, you jump at the chance to jab him in the side, but of course that more often than not results in both of you on the ground, attempting to overcome the other in a weird sort of play fighting ritual

- at first robin got a bit concerned, thinking eddie will accidentally crush you under him, but you proved to be resilient and got back at eddie more than a few times

- but after a while all the others get used to it and just wait it out until you two are tired and laying on top of each other, at that point only able to shoot insults at each other much like two 1st graders would

- nancy will always watch from the corner of her eye though, with the smallest smile on her face
