Have you ever fallen in public? Ummmm maybe, I don't remember. I know I almost fainted once in public (not all that long after I fainted and got my concussion), but I'm certain me slowly getting down to sit on the floor is what kept me conscious. I'm sure people were confused (I was literally in GameStop with my dad lol), but better than fainting. To this day I still don't know why it happened, but after fainting once, I knew what being on the brink felt like.

What were some toys you enjoyed in your childhood? Haha I actually had this ongoing plot for I think MOST of my childhood with two toy crocodiles (one was a baby), two deer (again, one baby), three dinosaurs that were the bad guys lol, and then there were some little Pokemon figurines. It's funny, unless I was playing dolls with my sister, I really don't remember playing make-believe with other sorts of toys. I was ENTIRELY obsessed with Webkinz, like I know I had at least over 40 (I think I still have each and every one in storage bags lol), but you "played" with those online, not with the actual plushies so I don't think that counts.

Take this space to appreciate someone or something in your life. I could never thank Girt enough for the kind of partner he is. His patience and tenderness with me means more than my dumb ass could ever explain. I just wish we could live our own adult lives together. I'm dealing with a lot of frustration (not towards him, just circumstances) about feeling like I'm stuck in the life of a child.

Do you have any plans in the upcoming weeks? Nothing major. Just doctor appointments, as always. I get my tattoo finished towards the end of May, but that's still a full month away.

Do you have any allergies? Seasonal and silver.

Do you know anyone named after each season? No, I only know a Summer. She's probably my closest real-life friend, excluding obviously Girt.

What's the last thing you had to write down? I signed a piece of paperwork at the endocrinologist.

What was the last thing you cleaned? uh my vomit off the floor

Have you ever had a concussion? Yes, it was an absolutely miserable experience.

What do you think of TikTok? No opinion at all, I've never used it/don't know anything about it really as a company.

Do you prefer long or short sleeve tops? Short sleeves, very easily. I experience the same thing I do with socks (although to a lesser severity) with long sleeves: it's like this sensory stress, like I feel like my arms are trapped or something and I don't like it.

Have you ever held a wild animal? Yeah. I used to love being the one to let a fish I caught go when I used to go fishing, and I know I've picked up turtles, too. The strongest example I remember though is holding a bunny; basically, a rabbit made its nest under some burning pile of something at Nicole's friend's place, and she and Hailee (said friend) ended up discovering two kits left behind, both with very mild burns. Naively (I'm not saying "stupidly" because they just didn't know, they thought they were rescuing two abandoned bunnies), Nicole kept one and Hailee kept the other. I fell in LOVE with the one Nicole brought home, like I was purely obsessed and the kit appeared very calm and as if it enjoyed being cuddled against you, but it (and Hailee's) died in MAYBE two days, possibly even less. Moral of the story: DON'T "RESCUE" SEEMINGLY ABANDONED BABY ANIMALS. CONTACT A PROFESSIONAL. The bunnies might have been sick, or we - what seems more likely imo - fed them dangerous food. It's a kind gesture to want to save an animal, always, but ignorance can kill SO easily and quickly when it comes to stuff like this.

Do you enjoy playing Uno? Not really, no. The time Chelsea dyed my hair red (the one and only time my hair took color like a fucking champ btw), we played it for HOURS while the dye sat and I'm still totally drained of that damn game, lol.

Do you tend to speed when you drive? I don't drive.

Do you smoke cigarettes? No, I'm not interested in smoking any substance.

Do you get obnoxious when you’re drunk? I wouldn't know.

Name one thing you do that people always tell you about. Jump to conclusions and severely catastrophize.

Are you superstitious? No.

Do you get bored with relationships quickly? Obviously not.

Can you sleep without blankets covering you? Unless I am burning the absolute hell up, no. And in the case I do have the covers mostly off me, I struggle harder than usual to fall asleep.

Who do you wish you could hang out with right now? Girt. I've seen him more than usual the past handful of days but I'm being clingy as shit regardless and it's annoying me.

Name one thing you absolutely can not stand. Me lately lol, but to give you a non-angsty answer, injustice of all sorts, but I think especially needless prejudices, like towards the LGBTQ+ community or specific races.

Pick one: Papa John’s, Domino's, or Pizza Hut. I feel like I'm the only human being that loves Domino's.

Who was the first person to ever give you flowers? Besides family at dance competitions, Jason.

What is something you do for other people that shows you care for them? I try to ask the people I'm closest to how they are often enough. And I don't have to think for even a second if I'm okay with someone I barely even know venting to me, I'm totally welcoming to listening to anyone who needs someone to just listen.

What was the last animal/pet that you met? Uhhhhh I am honestly not sure, I can't remember the last time I went to someone's house when they'd gotten a new pet... I think it might be Charlie (Girt's dog) and Onyx (his sister's), and I met them nearly a year ago, I wanna say.

Is there anyone in your life with whom your opinion changes on frequently? No, not really.

Do you ever look up set lists for concerts? I've only been to one concert in my entire life, and I didn't then. It's possible I would in the future.

Is there a certain song or band who reminds you of specific people? Yeah; Motionless In White and Black Veil Brides are extremely tied to Jason to me, because those were his two favorites. MiW is high on my own favorites list now, coincidentally. I think Evanescence will always remind me of Sara, especially since I pointed out to her how similar to Amy Lee she actually sings, lol. Deadly Circus Fire is Girt's favorite and I'd never even heard of them prior to him, so they're connected in my head too. He also likes Ninja Sex Party a lot and so do I, so they're another, haha.

Would you prefer to take a picture of yourself, or have someone else take it for you? I'd prefer to do it if I really have to have a picture taken, unless you're like, a seriously professional photographer that knows how to make me Not look ugly lmfao

How often do you style your hair differently from how you normally style it? Never.

What was the last thing to really surprise you? Throwing up two days ago.

Is there something in particular you always seem to forget? Anything and everything.

Have you ever tried making something from one of those short cooking videos? How did it turn out? No.

Have you ever written a review for a product you bought online? No; I wanted to for the Vitamin Me gift I got Girt for our last anniversary, but because it was bought under my mom's Etsy account, I wasn't eligible to do so on my own. Yeah, I coulda just used her account, but I never did.

Do you ever interact with any brands/companies online? No, besides like, liking stuff.

Is there anything you seem especially sensitive to, such as sounds, smells, etc? The sound of vomiting. I immediately freak out and aggressively plug my ears. I'm also extremely sensitive to the heat, like even 70*F is gross and uncomfortable for me. Light also bothers my eyes more than what's normal, something I think is a mix of having blue eyes (apparently we're more sensitive to it naturally) and also just barely ever going outside.

What was the last board game you played? I have no idea, something with the kids though, I'm sure.

Is anyone you work with currently on maternity leave or vacation? I don't fucking work right now.

Are you in a relationship? If so, how long? Yeah, it's been a year and almost eight months now.

What food do you see the most of at baby showers? uh idk, I don't pay attention to this...

Have you ever worked in a grocery store? I worked at a dollar store for like, three days, and a deli inside a grocery store for not even two fuckin hours.

What’s the temperature range in your area? There are obviously outlier days/streaks, but the average range of temperatures in eastern NC is apparently around 40-90*F.

Have you been around anyone that creeped you out? I'm quite positive everyone has, and the strongest example to come to my mind (excluding the probably literal rapist that I dealt with during my last psych hospital stay) would be Colleen's father-in-law; he was so fucking weird and uncomfortable. Turns out there were gross sexual things about him anyway.

Do you own a pair of Crocs? No, they have always been hideous to me and also very uncomfortable (there have been instances where I would briefly slip my mom's on to go outside for something).

Does anyone in your family have a birthday in February? Yes, myself as well as my youngest niece.

Do you believe in Jesus? Idk if I think he historically existed (a quick Google search tells me most scholars do agree that he was real, however there is no legit, documented evidence of his identity), but I absolutely don't believe in the "miracles" he supposedly did.

Are you hard of hearing? Volume-wise, I hear fine, but I do absolutely have an auditory processing issue that regularly makes sounds just mix together and don't make "words" to my ears, like I'll have no idea whatsoever what you said to me. This can happen in completely quiet environments, regardless of how close you are to me, anything.

How many bones have you broken in your life? One, my wrist. Pretty sure my left one.

Have you ever had vertigo? Yes, it's a horrific feeling. I had a span where it was somewhat common and was medicated for it, but I haven't been on that med nor have I experienced vertigo in years.

Has your house ever been robbed? No, this question is so fucking upsetting to imagine, it's not like we can afford to replace like, anything a general robber would steal.

If you have a partner, do you have a song? Not really, no.

Have you or would you ever hold a snake? I've held probably dozens of snakes in my life and I plan for that number to get way bigger. I adore snakes, a lot.

- Every time in class, he'd tap on your shoulder from where he sat and act like he's paying attention to the teacher whenever you turn to glare at him. Gives subtle side glances and finds your pissed expression hilarious

- The type to place cold drinks against your cheek out of nowhere

"Yah!!? Gago, Ajax-- can you fucking stop!?" You hissed, earning a chuckle from the lad

"It's not that cold, ha-ha"

- You ignored him for the rest of the class which caused him to buy you one of your favorite snacks as he pleads for you to stop giving him the cold shoulder. He's still gonna do it again, but he won't mind buying more food for you (Win-win I suppose)

- His grades are fairly average, but still insists you tutor him. He'll drag Thoma in one of your study sessions to make you accept his request.

- You have a soft spot for Tohma and he takes advantage of it

- He calls you "Ate" as a joke, but it eventually became a natural thing for the both of you

- If he can't annoy you, then he'll annoy Scaramouche. You don't know how, but he got him to be accidentally sent to the elementary department's floor, which made a teacher think he's a 4th grade student.

- He got a lotta bumps in the head from the angry gremlin later on

Tohma

- The goodie two shoes friend and also the teacher's errand boy (next to Aether/Lumine)

- I feel like he has a collection of different bandana's/Headband's with all kinds of designs. He once got you a bear themed headband for your birthday

- Often gets in trouble with Childe (and the rest of you gets into trouble as well) so you all get to clean the classroom

- Kind of the mom friend but not really. Maybe it's the fact that he often notices small things about you and the others. Like the fact that he knows about your obsession with sweet/salty foods, The fact that he knows about Childe's soft spot for whales and that Scaramouche always puts aesthetic shades of eye shadow. He has fun with you all and always points out your small habits that he finds adorable.

- All his pencils are chewed and chucked, and you once thought a dog did that. He often bites into them when he's bored or just in a random trance, you had to stop him before he could finish the whole thing.

"Tohma snap out of it! You're gonna scarf the whole thing at this point!!"

"h-huh..!?" The moment he noticed the bite marks all over the wooden object he only laughed it off. Later on he didn't notice he was chewing it again, which caused it to snap. You let him borrow yours and he made sure not to bite into them this time.

- Though.. you later on find a few nibbles on the top part of the pen, making you sigh

-You bought him a set of Chewable pencil toppers and he was ecstatic to say the least.

- Whenever you guys go to the gym for P.E he always gets hit in the head with the ball, he doesn't know why. The next day he brought a helmet to school and that made Childe go into a fit of laughter

- When he got hit by a ball sometime in P.E, he actually got badly injured, so you both went into the infirmary to treat his injured forehead.

"Punyeta. Why can't those 4th grader brats just stay on their side of the Gym? this shit always happens to you" You scowled as you tend to his wound

"Ha-ha.. even if they were on their side, I doubt the ball won't hit me" He sighs with a sheepish smile

- Has Tiktok as well, but the reason is to like most of Childe's Videos (very supportive friend lol)

- The escort of your class (And Ayaka was the class muse)

- He often get's into those Class Pageant contests (and the UN themed ones as well). He has a wardrobe filled with all the costumes he used lol

"Hold still Tohma! That get up looks great beside the vending machine," Childe cackles as he takes pictures of the blonde

"LMAO-- He's literally in a sparkling suit- HA HAHA" you mirrored his actions, taking out your phone. He plays along, posing with each snap of the camera's, while Scaramouche just deadpans at you three's antics.

Scaramouche

- The Sassy Honor student

- He's cold and snappy to everyone, including you. But don't worry, he warmed up eventually, though he still acts a teensy bit cold towards you.

- You guys were seat buddies while he and Childe were on the same club

- He trusts you to do his eyeshadow so you often both do each other's makeup (It's not allowed in campus so you both have glasses to slightly hide your eye makeup, matching glasses of course.

- He has a small taser keychain in his school ID and bag, and once threatened Ajax with it (He kept calling him short)

- Whenever your group goes out to eat you both get Drinks (Boba) together while Childe and Tohma goes ahead and buy Fish balls (lol)

- He once got a bad grade for the first time and he kept brushing it off whenever people ask about it, but you know that's not how he actually feels

"Hey Scara.. You sure you're ok? " You asked, when the both of you were alone in the classroom.

That's all it took for him to sigh and lean against your shoulder, mumbling a small "No"

It shocked you, but proceeded to place your hand on top of his crown to comfort him, after a few seconds of the both of you sitting in comfortable silence, he speaks up again

"Not a word about this. Or else I'll tase you."

"Sheesh, sunget naman" You giggled

- He sometimes uses you as an arm stand, it doesn't matter if you're taller or shorter, He'll stand on top of a chair just to lay his elbow on your head and he smirks down at you whenever you tell him to get it off, you couldn't convince him to, so you just accepted your fate.

- You were both often the sarcastic duo of your group and would always retort mean insults to the ginger (As a joke though, you three insult each other as friend of course.)

- Intellectual insults, brought to you by our favorite sassy boi

What the squad is like

- Ajax and Scaramouche are your classic Volleyball players and LMAO- they're basically Kageyama and Hinata in reverse

"The fuck kinda serve was that?" The red head teases

"Shut up you orange tree"

"Well, at least no one ever assumes I'm a 4th grader~"

"THE FUCK YOU SAY YOU IMBECILE!?" He snaps, hitting the ball with a strong slap when it reached over the net. And because he was out of focus, that ball ended up landing into Tohma who was cheering in the sidelines with you

"T-Tohma!!!" you shrieked as his soul starts to leave his body

- Whenever Scaramouche is very fired up in a game,you and Tohma would cheer and chant at him with these specific words;

"Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the Fandango!? ~"

- He tells you to stop cause it's embarrassing, but you don't and he honestly secretly enjoys it

- Your squad would sometimes ask Tohma to buy some snacks in the cafeteria (With Childe paying lol) and at this point he's carrying a reusable bag as if he were going to the market

"Eh? Tohma, why do you have that bag with you?" A student asks "Are you going to the market?.. But School's still going.."

"Oh, this? Ha-ha nah! I'm just going to the cafeteria"

- The Cafeteria staff kinda got used to the same orders he'd often list out so they just dump them in the bag and Tohma gives them the cash with a simple thank you as if it was a routine (Hm, maybe it already is)

- When all of you would hang out, out of school you'd go to the arcade and it takes Childe a whole minute or two in the Claw machine. You almost got banned because kept cursing so loudly (there were little kids around)

- You and Scaramouche would play shooting games and holy shit he's good-

-You asked him if he ever had experiences in actual guns and he responded with;

"Oh, no. I just envision the targets as that Idiot who can't get anything from the Claw machine" He points at Childe

"HEY!"

- Childe and Tohma would battle through DDR and it either ends with a tie or you and Scara having to drag them out cause it was getting late.

-Lots of prizes earned and Childe swore he was close to buying the entire claw machine (Damn rich boi--)

- At the end of the day, all you three would get your preferred drinks as you all gaze at the nearest beach sunset. (You had the classic soda and straw in a bag of course)

- Whenever you plan, get together's like these, you always looked forward to them

- But let's say hypothetically that your parents are strict or didn't let you join them this time, well bestie, it's either they wont go and reschedule or kidnap you lmao

- Childe asked you to come outside of your house and the moment you did, you were met by a car and a laughing Childe and Tohma who carried you bridal style towards the vehicle

"Pukeng ina-- Mom's gonna kill me!!" you laughed into the gingers arms, hitting him playfully

"Quick Tohma!" He calls out to the boy, getting inside the car as he still holds onto you "Drive bitch! drive!!"

- By the time you got home you almost got banned from ever hanging out with them (You got grounded though LMAO)

“Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Dream: Worth It!”

Chenle shouts loudly from the driver’s seat, waving excitedly at the camera attached to the dashboard as he waits for the traffic light to turn green. You visibly flinch in your spot on the passenger's side, startled by the sudden greeting, and even Jisung jumps in the backseat, almost dropping the camcorder he was fiddling with.

Your best friend continues to give the camera a dazzling smile, paying no attention to your and Jisung’s brief glares. “Today on Worth It, thanks to a fan’s suggestion, we’ll be trying out three different spaghetti dishes at three drastically different price points to find out which one is most worth it at its price!”

“Yes,” you chime in, nodding excitedly at the camera and giving a little wave. “So if you want to see another riveting episode of Chenle and Jisung going on three dates at three drastically different price points while I third wheel again, please stay tuned!”

“Hey!”

Both the boys wildly protest, but you blatantly ignore them, checking your phone quickly before beaming at the camera again. “So here’s our first spaghetti fact! The word ‘spaghetti’ is actually the plural version of spaghetto. Spaghetto comes from the Italian word spago, which means twine or thin string.”

“Wait, that actually makes sense. Spaghetti looks like thin strings,” Chenle says, eyebrows shooting up in surprise.

“Yeah, basically every language makes sense, except for English,” you remark, setting your phone down in your lap before turning to your best friend. “So are you excited for this episode’s dish?”

“Yes! Shout out to Moony for your suggestion,” Chenle calls out, driving forward before making a right. “If anyone else has any suggestions for future videos, please feel free to comment below.”

You start to explain the first restaurant to your viewers. “Our first stop is called Legalize Marinara! It’s a small hole in the wall place in downtown LA, and fresh pasta is made everyday. We’ll be talking to the owner and chef Johnny Suh about the daily process.”

“And cut!” Jisung calls out, and you stop there, pressing the off button to end the recording. Later on, the three of you will have to work on snipping up the recordings to create a smooth transition from there to a shot of Johnny and his restaurant before jumping into your quick interview with him.

You quickly scroll through the questions you had written ahead of time to ask Johnny on your phone, mouthing the words and memorizing them. You were always the one who asked about the history of the restaurant because Chenle wasn’t as good with the more sentimental questions and preferred the light hearted ones about the food specifically, which you didn’t mind. As long as you get to try good food at the end of it, you’re one very happy, very stuffed camper. You are very much looking forward to visiting Legalize Marinara.

“—and that’s how the pasta is freshly made everyday in the morning.” Johnny finishes up, giving the camera a very charismatic smile and a wink. “We also have a special brew of coffee created by my dad, but that’s a story for another episode. I’ll bring out the spaghetti once it’s ready.”

You and Chenle thank him before going over to sit at one of the small metal tables near the entrance. The place had a sort of modern, yet retro feel to it with an eclectic mix of vintage, kitschy furniture adding pops of color here and there to the otherwise simple space with a neutral palette. The name of the restaurant flashes as a neon sign, serving as the main wall decor along with records scattered here and there on the wall as well.

Jisung stands across from the two of you, propping the large camera on his shoulder in preparation. You and Chenle both take a sip of the special coffee drinks Johnny prepared for you each on the house, pleasantly surprised by the crisp, refreshing taste your taste buds are immediately hit with. Johnny appears minutes later, a pretty plate of simple spaghetti and meatballs along with some Parmesan and garnish on top in hand.

“Here’s our most popular dish: spaghetti with meatballs!” he announces, placing the plate in front of you both carefully. “It’s a simple tomato sauce, but it’s made with organic, local ingredients that we get from the farmer’s market every morning. We get the fresh meat from the butcher down the block everyday to make the meatballs and buy the cheese from local sellers as well. We also add the secret spice mixture created by my mom to the meatballs, which gives it a distinct flavor from other restaurants. Please dig in, guys!”

You immediately swirl your fork into the plate of spaghetti. It looks and smells absolutely fantastic, and your mouth is already watering. You cannot believe that this only costs thirteen dollars. This is an absolute steal. You are just about to take a bite when—

“Wait! We didn’t do a ‘cheers’ yet!” Chenle exclaims, sticking out his fork towards you. You clink your fork against his own metal utensil, and he’s finally satisfied, retracting his arm. Finally, you take the much anticipated bite. The flavors absolutely explode in your mouth, and you’re already reaching out to take a second forkful of the delicious masterpiece.

“This is amazing,” you declare, and Chenle nods enthusiastically, spearing a meatball with his fork. Jisung briefly pans the camera over to Johnny, who shows a double thumbs up before doing finger guns and giving an exaggerated wink.

“Here, try this.” Chenle cuts a piece of the meatball and offers it to you. You reach out for it, but he pulls back, smiling widely and eyes sparkling. “Nuh uh, that’s too easy. Say ah, Y/N.”

“I—” Your cheeks grow warmer than ever, and his grin grows broader, wriggling the fork in front of you. Face burning, you move forward and take a bite. You can hear Jisung fake gagging behind the camera and very much would like to flip him the bird, but you are a professional. You’ll get him back for that later. After all, revenge is a dish best served piping hot and spicy, and you have some Carolina reapers leftover from another video that may accidentally find its way into Jisung’s ramen next time.

You and Chenle spend some more time describing the dish in between bites as Johnny pipes in here and there with some well placed dad jokes that has Jisung shaking his head behind the camera. By the end of it, you both are very happy, and you switch places with Jisung who has a chance to try out the pasta himself at last. He silently eats it before tossing a thumbs up at the camera, and you stop the recording there. After thanking Johnny once more before the three of you leave, you all pile into your car and get ready to go to the next stop.

“Can we stop here?” Jisung pipes up, peering out the window with interest. His eyes scan the surroundings, peering at the empty space and the wide stairs in front of the spiraling columns of a grand building.

You furrow your eyebrows, glancing at your friend in the backseat. “We’re still a couple blocks away from the restaurant though.”

“This looks like a good spot to film a dance,” he muses to himself before sitting up straighter. “Can we take a quick break? We’re still early, and I wanted to film a quick TikTok before the sun sets.”

You look over at Chenle, who shrugs and pulls over. He backs up into an available parking space, parallel parking smoothly, one hand gripping the back of your seat and the other on the steering wheel. “Alright, do your thing, Jisungie.”

Jisung excitedly hops out from the back. You and Chenle follow suit, locking the car behind you. Your friend is busy setting up his collapsible tripod before placing his phone on it and calling over to you, “Hey, can you stand in front, Y/N? I wanna angle this correctly and check the lighting.”

You move in front of his phone, standing several steps in front of the stairs. Jisung fiddles around with his phone for a few moments, switching up some of the settings and zoom functions before straightening up, eyes bright. “Okay, stay there to mark the spot! I’m gonna press the start button to record. Chenle, can I borrow your phone? I need to play the song for the dance.”

Chenle hands him his phone, and the familiar intro to Doja Cat’s “Say So” begins to blast on top volume. Jisung hands it back to its owner and hurriedly moves to stand in front of his own recording phone as you step aside. “I kinda also need you two in my TikTok.”

“Wait, what? I don’t know the dance,” you protest, starting to back out, but Jisung grabs your hand, pulling you into view, as Chenle bounces over with a shrug of his shoulders, never one to shy away from the camera.

“You don’t need to dance. I just need you both to uh, kiss my cheek on, um, both sides when I tap on them both. It should be the fourth time she says ‘say so’ in the song,” he stammers slightly, face turning slightly pink. He avoids making eye contact as you give him a suspicious look, crossing your arms over your chest.

“What? Why?”

“It’s part of the dance! Now get out of the shot please because the chorus is finally coming up again!” He unceremoniously shoves you out of the frame, and Chenle quickly catches you before you faceplant into the ground. You have a few choice words to yell at your friend and are about to furiously march over to him, but Chenle tightens his grip on you. “Let’s just let him finish, and we can go on. You know how he is about dancing.”

“I’m paying Renjun to put another cockroach picture as his lockscreen again,” you huff, frowning at the dancing boy. “Why didn’t you say anything about the whole kissing request anyway?”

“Eh, I’ve done it before. It’s no big deal.” Chenle shrugs, and you start to stutter, brain malfunctioning, “Wait, you did wha—”

“Oh, it’s almost our cue!” Chenle pushes you towards Jisung as he runs behind the camera to the other side, and you find yourself stumbling for a second time before catching yourself. Grumbling to yourself, you catch Chenle’s apologetic expression, and you sigh, shaking your head as you wait on the sidelines for Jisung to do the move.

And there it is.

Jisung points at his cheeks, tapping them on both sides, and you and Chenle jump into the frame. You lean forward, pressing your lips softly against— wait.

Eyes widening, you jump back in shock, mouth popping open, and the same reaction comes from your best friend when you two realize that you just kissed each other. On the lips.

Crouched on the ground, Jisung looks rather smug after quickly dropping down mid-dance and orchestrating the whole incident. He quickly stands up, striding towards the camera and ending the recording, before efficiently packing up the equipment and walking back to the car without another word.

“Did we just—” you splutter, unable to continue your sentence, as your face grows increasingly warm. Chenle refuses to make eye contact with you, the darkening blush spreading across his face like wildfire. The two of you both direct your disbelief at the same target, rushing over to the car which he boredly stands next to, waiting for Chenle to unlock it.

“Jisung!” You both shout his name, and he just stares at you both, a small grin across his face that he struggles to hide. “What?”

“‘What?’ That’s it? What was that?! Why did you do that?” you exclaim, waving your arms around. Chenle is rendered speechless, unable to say anything after the quick outburst of his other best friend’s name.

“I was tired of listening to Che—mmph!” Jisung is abruptly cut off as Chenle throws his hand over his friend’s mouth, effectively interrupting whatever he was about to say. The two of them silently look at each other, maintaining some sort of telepathic stare that’s probably discussed in the universal book of the bro code. You’ve seen Jaemin and Jeno or Renjun and Donghyuck share the same look before and never really understood it. To be honest, it kind of reminds you of that one moment where the main characters of a chick flick gaze into each others’ eyes and then kiss.

The sound of a text notification cuts off your train of thought and breaks the intense stare down going between the two boys, and you check your phone, eyes widening. “Oh my god, we’re going to be late if we don’t go now! Taeyong just texted me to confirm if we’re coming.”

The three of you hurry into the car, buckling up in your seats. Your hand lightly grazes Chenle’s amidst the rush, and you freeze. You look up, heat spreading across your face, as Chenle meets your gaze, turning redder than spaghetti sauce.

“Alright, you can continue this moment at the restaurant,” Jisung says loudly, jolting the two of you out of your stupor. You quickly retract your hand, mumbling a quick apology, and look away, cheeks still growing warmer than ever. Chenle awkwardly clears his throat and starts the car up, driving to your second stop on the map.

Penne for your Thoughts is simply lovely. It reminds you of a place you would see on the shiny cover of Architecture Digest: a hot spot where all those social influencers would take aesthetic snapshots and post to their Instagrams. The restaurant is quaint and spacious: a large area filled with lots of greenery, hanging plants in simple white ceramic pots, white painted brick walls, and wooden tables with soft cushions on each seat. Once you wrap up the interview with Taeyong, you are seated next to an open window with a great view of a pretty koi pond in the back.

“We serve Korean fusion style food here, and our spaghetti has a freshly made tomato sauce that includes chopped kimchi infused in it. We found that using garlic marinated pork belly makes a more flavorful meatball, which we char slightly, paying homage to the wonderful KBBQ samgyeopsal. We also found that a raw egg yolk on top adds a richness to the pasta, which is similar to a bowl of bibimbap. And there’s some grated Parmesan and mozzarella on top.” Taeyong sets the plate of gorgeous spaghetti in front of you and Chenle with a shy smile. “I hope you both enjoy it.”

You don’t know how else to describe the dish, except that it is beautiful (Just like the restaurant owner, like have you seen his face? Lee Taeyong is the true modern day Adonis, but you digress). You swear you saw Chenle wipe a tear from his face out of the corner of your eye. Practically salivating, you impatiently wait for Jisung to take a few close up videos and pictures of the dish before you immediately dig in.

Fork awkwardly hovering in the air, you pause, turning to Chenle. “Uh, cheers?”

His own loaded fork is halfway to his mouth when he halts. “Oh! Right. Yes. Um, cheers, Y/N.”

The two of you stiffly tap your forks against each other before facing forward again and finally taking the much desired bite. The flavors are bursting like fireworks, and if someone told you that you had died and gone to heaven, you would believe them because there’s no other word to explain the taste other than heavenly. Dante had many circles leading to the center of hell. If you are to apply the same concept to heaven, Legalize Marinara would be the first circle you enter once you go past the pearly gates, and Penne for your Thoughts would most definitely be the second.

The clinking of Chenle’s fork against the plate breaks you from your thoughts, and your good mood falters when you remember the incident again. You plaster a quick smile as you begin to describe the dish to the camera. Chenle chimes in with a wide smile of his own that looks a little too forced, but the only one who seems to notice is you.

Once the recording is wrapped up, Chenle drops you off at your apartment building for you to change into a more dressier attire for the last stop. He and Jisung will change at their place before coming back to pick you up for dinner.

Up next: Terrazza San Valentino.

The place is positively breathtaking. It is an upscale restaurant with open seating on a terrace, leading to a beautiful view of the ocean. Wisteria vines and bright flowers weave their way through the twisting low iron fences encompassing the space as they climb the sides of the building. You have the perfect seat to witness the picturesque sunset over the rippling waters. A bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon had been brought out and now rests on the covered table, uncorked and already poured out into two glasses. It very much reminds you of the beautiful restaurants you visited along the Amalfi Coast, specifically Il Capitano in Positano. You only hope that the food here will be just as amazing as the pasta you ordered there.

You just wish your company was a little better. The atmosphere felt more awkward than the time your mom had set you up on a blind date with her coworker’s son. You had to text Chenle for help that time, and he came to your rescue, helping you escape after pretending to be your long lost son. Obviously, your date wasn’t dumb enough to believe that, but he did believe that you were completely off your rockers and immediately took off after that.

Sneaking a glance at your best friend, you sigh when you realize that he refuses to look your way. You carefully tuck the skirt of your wine red dress under your crossed legs. The sweetheart neckline emphasizes the simple gold necklace you have on, and the dress tapers off at your waist, accentuating your figure perfectly. You paired the outfit with a matching lipstick, a simple black clutch, and some elegant black heels with ribbons that loop around your ankles into a pretty bow.

In other words, you look stunning, and Chenle’s palms are growing sweaty. He undos the first few buttons of his white dress shirt, desperately wanting to take off his tailored suit jacket, but his attire would look much too casual without it. He avoids eye contact with you and remains silent, growing even more flustered by the second, and looks at Jisung helplessly.

Of course, his other best friend proves to be useless again (Disappointing, but not surprising). Jisung simply wriggles his eyebrows at him, eyes darting from you to Chenle, before zooming into his face at a very unflattering angle. Chenle throws him a dirty look, and Jisung merely sticks out his tongue in response. However, they immediately smoothen their expressions into much more pleasant ones when Jaehyun comes out with the plate of food on a small cart.

“This is our play on spaghetti.” He gives you a dimpled smile, and you briefly wonder if the customers rave about this restaurant because of the food or the chef. Perhaps it is a combination of both.

He continued to explain the dish, setting it down in front of you and Chenle. “We use strangozzi that is made fresh every morning. We infuse sun dried tomatoes that we dried ourselves into the olive oil for a minimum of thirty days. The pasta is cooked for sixty seconds, while we slightly sauté grated truffle in the oil in a pan. Once the pasta is ready, we transfer it to the truffle pan and cook it for another minute, making sure to coat the pasta in the sauce. And then we grate some Parmesan and truffles right on top at the table.”

Jaehyun pulls out the expensive mushroom, generously grating thin slices on top of the glistening strands of pasta. The smell is incredible, and your eyes are already hyper fixated on the dish in front of you. He puts down the mushroom and grater, picking up the second grater and the cheese from the cart before shredding the cheese perfectly.

When he finishes, Jaehyun places them back on the cart and smiles at you both charmingly once more. “I hope you enjoy your meal. If you need anything else, please feel free to ask.”

You thank him before he leaves, and Jisung takes all the necessary shots before giving the okay to start eating. You and Chenle offer up some comments about the elegance of the dish, describing its appearance and finally twirling some on the end of your fork. You murmur a quiet “cheers” as the two of you clink your glasses of wine together and take a sip before having the first bite.

The amount of money you have to pay to have a truffle dish is absolutely worth it. The taste is simply indescribable, and you truly have no words. You are blown away by the amount of flavor that can be created with just a few ingredients, and your taste buds are singing. Wide eyed, you turn to look at Chenle, who has the same astonished expression on his face, already staring back at you in complete surprise.

“Holy shit,” you breathe out, and your best friend agrees with you. “Holy shit indeed.”

You immediately go for another bite, and Chenle quickly follows suit. “This is— this is incredible. I don’t know how to describe it, except, except, wow. I can’t stop eating it, and the sun dried tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pasta al dente, and truffles just work so well together. It’s like a symphony in my mouth.”

“I agree,” Chenle nods enthusiastically, swiping another forkful of the yummy goodness. “This has to be one of the best dishes of the entire season.”

“Yeah, absolutely.” You spear a slice of the truffle with the pasta, and the ensuing bite is simply perfect and delectable. “I would come back here every single week if my bank account would let me.”

The stifled atmosphere between the two of you suddenly becomes relaxed at that point, the thick tension dissipating with food never failing to act as the perfect ice breaker and buffer simultaneously. For now, you can pretend the kiss didn’t happen and almost forget it (key word: almost).

“There’s a very popular fan suggestion,” Jisung pipes up, looking at the comment section of the previous video where you and Chenle announced your current recording’s star dish. “It got over twenty thousand likes and five hundred responses.”

“What is it?” You pause in eating, fork poised in the air, as you look over to your friend behind the camera. Chenle pays no attention, continuing to take another bite.

“Recreate the Lady and the Tramp moment.”

Your jaw drops, and your eyes grow round. Practically scandalized, your voice goes an octave higher. “You mean the kissing scene?!”

At the mention of kissing, Chenle chokes on a noodle, spluttering and nearly hacking up a lung, and you quickly reach over and firmly pat him on the back repeatedly until he stops coughing with a weak “thanks.”

“What? This is a food show! Why do they want us to kiss?” your best friend wheezes, and you pass him a glass of water. He grabs it from your outstretched hand gratefully and takes a large gulp.

“I don’t know, fan service? Anyway, it’s good for the views!” Jisung gives you a thumbs up, and you frown at him, crossing your arms over your chest.

“Why don’t you do it with Chenle then?”

“It specifically says you and Chenle,” he informs smugly with a smirk, and you glower at him, much to his amusement.

“Well, if it’s for the fans…” Chenle trails off, a faint blush beginning to make its appearance on his face. He hesitantly pulls out one strand of the pasta, picking up one end on his fork.

You can’t believe this. Yet, you slowly reach out for the other end of the strand with your fork, twirling it onto the metal prongs securely. You move to take your end of the noodle, while Chenle does the same, both of you actively avoiding eye contact.

“Oh c’mon, at least make it a little more romantic than that. Jeno and Jaemin have more chemistry than you two right now,” Jisung complains, and you would very much like to chuck the half full bottle of wine at his big, annoying head (Chenle also has similar thoughts).

Taking a deep breath, you finally place the noodle’s end in your mouth. Cheeks burning, you can feel your heart rate already skyrocketing at the mere thought of kissing your best friend again. You know you’ll freeze up if you look at him, so you do your best to focus your gaze on the center of the noodle strand. You’ll have some time before the two of you meet in the middle, right?

Wrong.

It comes much too soon, and your palms are growing sweaty as your heart races in your chest at a breakneck speed. Your lips are mere millimeters away from his, and you pause. You can’t hear anything, but the pounding of your heart and the blood rushing to your cheeks, and you finally find the courage to peek up at your best friend. You find him already gazing at you, a soft expression on his face. His eyes dart down to your lips before meeting your eyes once more, and you suddenly realize that he’s waiting for you, that he won’t do anything unless you want it too, that it’s okay if you don’t.

But you do.

So you muster up all the courage you possibly can and close the distance, carefully pressing your lips against his for a tender kiss before biting off the noodle. When you pull back, you finally notice the awestruck expression written all over Chenle’s face. He lets out a small laugh of disbelief before he positively beams, bouncing in his seat, and you sport a matching smile, albeit a little bashful.

“Uh, anyway, who left that comment? We should probably give them a mention,” you say, clearing your throat and hoping the heat subsides in your cheeks soon. Chenle continues to grin like the Cheshire Cat and secretly grabs your hand underneath the tablecloth, intertwining your fingers with his. You can feel your face exponentially growing warm once again, but you still send a pleased smile to your best friend.

“Uh…” Jisung awkwardly laughs, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “‘Insert goofy’s chuckle.’”

At Jisung’s answer, you freeze up entirely in your position before immediately turning and locking eyes with Chenle in complete horror, the both of you instantly coming to the same, dreadful realization.

“HYUCK?!”

This is a funny one, I got this from Tiktok! So y/n wanted to give her bf a kiss as he took a nap since he looked so cute, however he’s been touchstarved for a minute so he basically pulls her down to him and traps her in his arms as he slept. She can’t move at all! It feels nice but her legs are going numb 💀 and when she tries to move he says “mine” while his eyes are shut and she’s like “I know but...eh” *tries to move three more times as he says “mine” those three times and his grip is strong asf* she just gets exhausted and is like “God dammit 😭”. When her friends finally comes in, she tells them “I’ve been trapped for 3 hours, help me. I need to make dinner.”

I’d love to see the clingy bois in question be Hawks, Bakugo, Shinsou, and Dabi.

You couldn’t help it honestly Bakugo looked so peaceful when he was asleep. You stopped by his room to drop off a few notes that he had let you borrowed when you walked in you saw him asleep in his bed (you took a picture of him lol)

You just wanted to give a kiss just a tiny one! Carefully you loomed over him and gently kissed his cheek so you wouldn’t wake him up. You were about to pull away until you felt Bakugo’s arm reach over and pulled you into his chest.

You let out a surprised squeak. You tried wiggling out of his arms UNTIL he tightens his arms around your waist preventing you from moving at first you thought it was cute.. until 30 minutes passed by.

You tried shaking him awake, but HE WOULDN’T WAKE UP! “B-Bakugo please my legs they’re falling numb..” he didn’t respond. You tried again to wiggle yourself free from him, but he slightly stirs you hoped that he would wake up.. he didn’t.

“Mine.. all mine..” he mumbled. Goddamit he was talking in his sleep.. it’s cute, but you were in charge of making dinner for the class! You couldn’t let Uraraka do it alone!

You moved “mine.” You moved again “mine.” You moved one last time “mine.”

You gave up and accepted your defeat.

Uraraka, Mina and Midoriya were looking everywhere for you they hadn’t seen you or Bakugo for the last three hours and they started to get worried. They visited your room first and didn’t find you, then they tried Bakugo’s room and lord behold they found you.

“Y-Y/N are you alright?” Midoriya asked.

“Well you see ive been here for I don’t know how long-“ “three hours.” “Three hours, I can’t feel my legs and I need to make dinner so if you could please help me Id be thankful.”

When you saw Dabi passed out asleep you felt your heart explode. You’ve never seen him so.. peaceful! He looked so cute and relaxed! Usually he had that “cool” attitude so you never got to see him like this.

You smiled you quietly crawled onto the bed and gave Dabi a kiss on his cheek (you saw him smile in his sleep! You really wished you could’ve taken a picture) you were about to crawl away until you felt Dabi’s hand grab onto your waist and pull you against his chest.

You quietly gasped at his actions you didn’t expect Dabi to be strong in his sleep too.. at first you decided to let him hold onto you it was a nice feeling and it made you feel safe in his arms, but as a few minutes passed by your legs were getting numb you tried gently wiggling from his arms, but he tightened his grip around you.

“D-Dabi please wake up..” nothing. You tried wiggling again “Mine..” he mumbled burying his face into your chest.

You blushed at his actions. It was cute that he was holding into you like this like a baby koala bear, BUT YOU WANTED HIM TO LET GO ALREADY!

You tried wiggling against “Mine!” Dabi growls. You sighed you had to accept that Dabi wasn’t going to let you go anytime soon until he wakes up.. wait.. if he does wake up and sees you in this position with him he won’t let you leave! You tried wiggling more, but nothing worked you had to accept you lost.

Shigaraki and Toga were looking for you for THREE hours! The three of you were suppose to go on patrol to recruit new villains! Shigaraki was already annoyed he knew where you were at. Toga happily following behind him as he opened Dabi’s door he almost brusted out laughing when he saw Dabi holding onto you as he slept.

“I was going to come in to yell at you, but THIS is fucking hilarious.” Shigaraki said crossing his arms “haha very funny now help me.” You said to him “Na I’ll let you two have alone time together let’s go Toga.” Shigaraki said leaving you.

“Toga don’t leave me!” But she only laughed “have a fun time with Dabi Y/N!”

I feel like hawks would be half awake through things, but “pretend” to be asleep lol.

Keigo had just come back from a LONG day of patrolling and all he did was take a shower and then BAM take a nap. You came back home from work and saw him asleep in bed you smiled you quietly walked over to him and placed a kiss on his cheek.

He mumbled something, but didn’t wake up. You were about to leave the room to go make dinner UNTIL you felt him grab onto your wrist and pull you into bed. You thought it was cute at first until you started to realize he wasn’t waking up.. or letting go.

You tried shaking him awake, but he didn’t wake up. sHit and you needed to make dinner! You tried wiggling out of his arms hoping that would work, but he only tightened his hold on you.

“Keigo please wake up..” nothing he was really asleep at this point. You tried wiggling out of his arms until he mumbled “mine.” and used his wings to hold you against him as well. GoDdamit!

You weren’t about to give up though! You tried and tried again, but even in his sleep Keigo was strong as fUck! You sighed and accepted that you couldn’t escape his hold on you. A few hours passed by and you heard your phone ring thankfully Keigo let his wings relax making you able to reach over and grab it.

“Y/N have you seen hawks? I’ve tried calling him a bunch of times and he hasn’t answered me.” ENDEAVOR! He could probably help you with Keigo!

“Y-yeah he’s asleep uhm endeavor can you help me with something?” The end went silent for a bit “okay?” “So.. hawks fell asleep right? and I came to check up on him and I was trying to leave to go make dinner, but hawks sorta trapped me and now I can’t get him to let go of me.. can you help me?” You heard him sigh.

“Of course that idiot would I’m on my way.” You sighed in relief. You were happy he was coming.. you needed to use the bathroom.

Aizawa asked you to go check up on Shinso since he wasn’t answering his text messages. So when you got to his room you saw him asleep on his bed with one arm on his stomach at first you were just going to leave and tell Aizawa that he had fallen asleep.. but then you got tempted to kiss him.

Carefully not to wake him up you walked over to him and gently kissed his cheek “sleep well.” You mumbled Shinso stired a bit, but didn’t wake up. You were about to leave until you felt Shinso’s hand grab your wrist and pull you into his bed.

At first you thought he was fake being asleep, but saw that his eyes were still closed and his breathing was still soft.. was he almost like sleepwalking? You smiled “I’m happy you still think of me when you sleep Shinso.. but I gotta report back to Aizawa Sensei.” You tried wiggling out of his arms gently.

Shinso then held onto you tighter.. oh no. You tried waking Shinso up, but he was definitely a heavy sleeper. You tried waking him up; but nothing was working! You tried wiggling out of his arms again “mine.. only mine..” Shinso mumbled as he rested his chin on your shoulder. You shivered feeling his breath on your neck “Aizawa sensei is going to kill me if I don’t report back Shinso let goo.”

He wouldn’t though you tried everything by shaking him, wiggling out of his arms and even trying to talk to him, but he still continued to sleep! At this point you don’t know how many minutes passed by Sensei could already be on his way to kill you for not reporting back.. sigh.. at least you’d be safe in Shinso’s room.

Three hours passed by and Aizawa got WORRIED he asked your classmates if they had seen you and they said no. Aizawa asked the students form 1B if they had seen Shinso or you and one of the students told him Shinso was asleep in his room.

Aizawa went over to Shinso’s room and almosted yelled when he saw Shinso cuddling you “Y/N! Where have you been?” Aizawa asked not trying to wake up Shinso in the process.

“Here! I was going to report back to until Shinso cuddled me into his chest and wouldn’t let go!” Aizawa almost laughed. Almost.

At first Aizawa was planning on leaving you until he heard you say “I need to use the bathroom!” Now he was trying to help you.

I wanted to make this a headcanon because there’s just too many scenarios of Tom being a fanboy in my head that I can go on for days😭

If we haven’t established it enough on this blog: Tom is a hardcore and very proud Mixer.

Especially with you in the band, Tom’s support for the girl group was above and beyond.

We love a supportive boyfriend🥺

Obviously, you are his favorite member in the band.

He’s told you straight up that you were his favorite. It was also no secret because everyone knew of his crush on you even before the two of you dated.

He even exposed himself during interviews when asked who his celebrity crush was.

“My celebrity crush? (Y/n) (L/n) without a doubt.”

“You didn’t even hesitate to answer that.”

“Why would I? She’s always been my celebrity crush, she’s gorgeous and hilarious.”

His friends and family enjoyed taking the piss out of him. They constantly teased him about how whipped he was for you.

They pointed out how he would follow you around like a lost puppy and look at you as if you hung the moon and the stars in the sky.

As much as he hated the teasing, he knew they were all right.

He was absolutely in love with you. You were it for him. (Yes I’m quoting Cherry, leave me alone pls)

Omg why do I see him saving one of those edits from TikTok as a live wallpaper and making it his lockscreen?

Which would probably be how you found out about his little fanboy secret on his phone.

“Darling, can you pass me my phone please?” He asked you from the kitchen. You took his phone from the coffee table in the living room and went to where he was.

Maybe your thumb was pressing down on the screen making the live wallpaper move. You know how it makes your phone like vibrate or something? Yeah, you felt that.

So you looked down and suddenly his wallpaper turned into clips of you. You stopped midway just to watch it.

There were clips of you from music videos, interviews, performances, and even red carpet events.

It was like one of those “play date” edits that were trending around TikTok.

Tom comes out to check on you only to find you smiling at his phone. His eyes widen when he sees what you’re looking at.

“I—uh, I can explain!”

He thought you would find it weird and creepy of him to have a live wallpaper of you as his lock screen.

But you didn’t find it weird, you thought it was cute and adorable of him. It made you realize how wholesome of a boyfriend he was.

He’s instantly relieved when you tell him that.

You’d ask him where he got it and he would open up TikTok, then open his favorites.

Which exposed him because it’s literally a bunch of edits of you.

“Why do you have so many edits of me?”

He shrugs, “I just like watching them. They also help me when we’re apart. The fans make so many good edits of you, you need to watch them.”

Tom then goes on to show you all the edits he’s saved from TikTok.

You guys cuddle on the couch while going through them.

After you’ve gone through most of the ones from TikTok he would open up Instagram.

“Wait, there’s more?”

“Yes, there’s more. I can make about 5 Marvel length films out of all of them.”

He’d be so adorable and click on specific ones to show you because they were his favorite.

“Ooo, baby let’s watch this one. It’s very cute and my favorite song is in it.”

“Can we please watch the thirst edits?”

“Look, this one’s an edit of us. Aren’t we the cutest couple ever?”

Later on you would admit that you also watch fan edits of him.

“Do you really?”

“Yeah, they always pop up on my feed and I end up going down a rabbit hole of fan edits of you.”

Then you guys would go through your phone and watch fan edits of him.

He’d find a lot of them ‘sick’ and asks you to send them to him.

Now that you both knew about your love for fan edits of each other, you guys would send edits to each other all the time🥺

Sometimes you’ll even share them to your stories.

Tom did this the most with edits of you. When he shared the edits to his story he would add comments like:

“😍😍😍😍”

“My beautiful girl”

“Thank you for making an edit of @yourinstagram just laughing. I’ve been missing her so much and this really made my day x”

Tom is just the most supportive boyfriend and your biggest fan.

→ if he starts acting like a baby while playing a match, you know how to calm him down or cheer him up

→ and then he plays 10x better

→ but yeah the team really likes you because you know how to control bokuto hsjsjhs

→ when bokuto adds you to the vbc groupchat, that’s when you become good friends with the team

oh boy! okay i'm going to do my best to answer this but i have been in this fandom forever and could write a dissertation on just like,,, one character. so instead i'll sparknote some cute things about my top 4 and if you want to hear a more elaborate response i can do separate posts for each of them! it was hard enough to pick a couple characters since i love them all 😊

1) espio the chameleon

i love this little purple man so much oh my god. for starters, i'd like to think he isn't as serious as a lot of people make him out to be. yeah he seems chill but let's be real, he's arrogant and i love every second of it! he definitely radiates hot topic vibes but we're talking ronnie radke, hollywood undead vibes. definitely an e-boy but not in the fake alt way, he just radiates soft-grunge vibes? he's bisexual with a male lean and definitely dated mighty at some point, but i personally ship him with wave (more on that in a second!) his best friend is silver (i ship them too tbh) but his friends are rouge and shadow for the most part. he's the character closest to shadow (personality wise, not emotional proximity) and i adore their interactions in shadow's game so i sorta ship them too...? ahhh this is supposed to be about headcanons! anyways, i think he's fun to be around and has a thing for people with good stories to tell: wave about the past, silver about the future, and rouge/shadow with the present as agents. i think the cooperation between the chaotix detective agency and GUN is something people should write more often! oh, and he likes green tea boba ✨

2) wave the swallow

god, she made me realize i like girls and i still absolutely adore her. it was taken down but at one point years ago, her birthday was listed as november 11th which makes her a scorpio, and as a fellow scorpio i stand by it! she's also definitely bi but with a female lean, and her best friend/occasional partner is rouge. they remind me of maddy and cassie from euphoria, but wave isn't as bitter as maddy ofc. i feel like people forget that storm and jet are pretty damn incompetent without her, she literally does everything for them and that's a big nod to her people pleasing. yeah she's arrogant, but she's not wrong in being self absorbed because she keeps things running! she radiates hayley kiyoko, p!nk, 100gecs, and paramore vibes. she's a baddie but a softie! i think her and espio would be amazing together (even platonically) because he loves learning and debates, and she has a lot to say and needs someone to respond, as opposed to zoning out. i feel like she could be a famous rollerskater on tiktok or something, and would have her own line of custom gear! she might be cold and competitive, but she's really sweet and just has no way of expressing it... poor girl. i think her and sonic could be amazing friends, and i'd love to see more art of them being pals and going on adventures together!

3. shadow the hedgehog

hehehehehe oh boy, as the current love interest of my fixation character, shadow is getting more attention than usual these days! i always liked him but my fave boy and girl were espio and wave for the longest time, so finally getting to fixate on shadow is great for me! shadow is neurodivergent, basically in canon. his memory issues are both trauma related and just a part of his programming. something that i admire about espio and shadow being friends is that the former loves authority and doesn't need it, but the latter despises it but needs it. shadow was created to obey, and so even if GUN wrongs him a thousand times, he needs them. it's why he keeps going back to eggman, and helps sonic when asked. shadow might not admit it, but he has a saviour complex! although i agree that with modern music he'd listen to like mcr and pierce the veil etc, i think he'd also resonate with sex pistols and other music from the decades he missed while in stasis (footloose is probably one of his fave movies just because of the killer soundtrack!) he loves flowers and does his best to take care of plants, has nervous tics, and the reason his quills turn upwards is because of all the chaos energy he has! super sonic's quills turn up when transformed, and shadow is constantly tapped into that energy: even with inhibitors it's a lot to manage. shadow also loves reading, and i think his favourite book would be The Wars by Timothy Findley (amazing read, please check it out because it reminds me so much of Shadow oh my god)

4. INFINITE!!!

okay i have to keep this one short but he is currently my favourite character, and i could talk about him forever. i know SEGA claims his real name is Infinite, but i headcanon that in the village he came from he wasn't given a name because he was considered a burden and a curse (due to his heterochromia and other reasons). for me he was called araperi or ara (nothing/no in Georgian) because they only referred to him via negative reinforcement. the scar on his eye is because either he or another jackal tried to claw it out when he was little because it made him an outcast and he wanted to belong. he only started school when he was in highschool and never really learned how to read english (i base a lot of his village lore around Georgia and my experiences with Georgian culture- even though my culture was erased when i got adopted lol). he only learned english through musical theatre, and is fluent but not very literate in english (can't read or write very well). he radiates younger sibling vibes so i headcanon that he has 4 older sisters who all treated him pretty bad on varying levels. after a year or two of highschool he ran away with some friends and after meeting more nomads, squad jackal was eventually formed! infinite (or finn as i sometimes call him) was definitely into theatre (his favourite musical being sweeney todd) and he's an AMAZING singer, acting too (which is sorta canon because he adopted shadow's personality and fighting style after their first encounter and rehearsed a whole monologue lmao). his singing voice sounds like clem turner's but with a bit more rasp, probably because i feel like he'd listen to bring me the horizon and kim dracula! infinite is actually a big puppy once he likes you, he's just secretly awkward and insecure as hell (maybe the last part isn't a secret, haha)

the story I most associate with you (perhaps obviously) is Betrayal Story, although a couple others also stick in my brain pretty well. the recently continued whumpee-betrays-caretaker one foremost among them.

speaking of that, I almost commented that you're really into branding just now, but you basically said all of that in the tags already. :p

also speaking of that one, I'm sad that whumpee didn't get to explain what actually happened! so the whumper assumed they were lying. misunderstandings, they pain me.... Glad the whumpee and caretaker ended up clearly on the same side, though, and I hope the latter gets his murderous wish. <3

also, the machete is for yard work! my father and I spent a while de-limbing a tree that fell in our yard with shears and a hacksaw and an axe. and shortly after this, he saw a machete in the store, said to himself ‘I should have a machete.’ and bought a machete. buying tools that would've been useful recently, as you do. so, now we have a machete.

can’t say that I’m surprised that you’d associate me with Betrayal Story haha and hmm interesting... that was a pretty intense one, I can see why it’d stand out

branding is one of those tropes that I just never seem to get tired of. I don’t read it often though, so I kinda forgot how much I enjoy a branded whumpee for a while. and then I wrote Liam’s branding and now I can’t stop thinking about it and needed more hehe

I mean, even if the whumper knew what actually happened I don’t think it’d have made much of a difference if it makes it any better... and yes!! I usually hate misunderstandings when I’m reading because they make me too nervous. the idea for part 1 of betrayal story came from a tiktok! it was a girl talking about how she wanted to see more of the “I trusted you and you betrayed me and now we have to spend time together again but I half hate half love you” trope, and I was like “oof me too, girl, me too. wait, I could write that. and it’d be so much better if I made it whumpy...” and that’s how chase and liam were born :’)

and since I can’t think of anything special about whumpee-betrayed-caretaker here’s more from betrayal story.

okay so I think I’ve already said it but the branding idea was what made me want to make the characters into ocs, so it was the first idea I had for the story itself. and I wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget. here is what made betrayal story exist:

Wanky lyrics anon here,

No lyrics interpretation here, but I saw conversation about TPAB, 1989, and Taylor's influence and wanted to contribute. (Sorry for the long ask haha)

I'm in the probably not very controversial group, but maybe among swifties, that TPAB definitely deserved to win AOTY, and saw someone say that's not the case as they don't think Kendrick is very influential. My opinion here is that the influence in the case of TPAB doesn't matter, as TPAB is basically "The History of Black Music: The Album" but giving it a modern twist. Which is basically what Daft Punk did with Random Access Memories, which was basically "The History of Dance Music: The Album." And both artists featured legends of their respective genres to pay tribute to that history: George Clinton and Ronald Isley on TPAB, and Georgio Morodor and Nile Rogers on RAM. Both albums have had little influence on how modern music sounds, but the serve as masterclasses of genre, engineering, and how to construct on album. Which is what is supposed to matter with the awards: how good is the end product.

As for Taylors influence, my controversial take, is that musically, Taylor hasn't really been that influential on pop music. I can hear her influence in country, though I don't know how much of that is just country music being country music, but I hear a lot of old Taylor in a bunch of up and coming female country singers.

There are people like Camila, Shawn, and Halsey who say how Taylor influences them, but I don't hear it in their songs. Though I do in Olivia Rodrigo, so the tides may be changing in that regard.

Taylors influence lies in the meta of the music industry. She made it cool to be a Singer-songwriter, she's the reason all artists suddenly started showing off their writing credits. The whole thing about artists being "authentic" seems from her. This is what makes it difficult to point at an album like 1989 and say it deserves whatever and that's its influential (I'd argue against 1989 being influential, but that's more because I don't like it haha), because with Taylor it's never really been important WHAT she makes, it's the fact that SHE'S the one making it, and how SHE'S grown/switched genres that's considered a big deal. Which is why I think Folklore will win AOTY, as I see it kind of like a TPAB/RAM of alternative/folk/country type music... kind of-ish.

Taylors closest comparisons for meta influence are Kany and Drake.

Kanye, because he was the one that made it cool to be the rapper that produces his own songs. Every rapper wanted to be a producer/have production credits after Kanye came on the scene. Before him, the only producer rapper that I can think of was RZA, and he wasn't even the most famous out of Wu-Tang. Still the popularity in the group went to pure rappers Method Man and Raekwon. Musically, the moody 808 emo rap stuff came from Kid Cudi. He was a major influence of 808's and Heartbreaks, and it's this sound that rappers still copy. Kanye's style was flipping old soul samples which no one really does anymore.

And the Drake comparison, because both Taylor and he have massively influenced the business side of the music business, though in different way. Drake has optimised his music for making money in the streaming age. His newer stuff having long tracklists, but short run times meaning it can be streamed more times a day than if the songs were longer is having a massive knock on affect. Ariana's newest album for example only having 4 out of 14 songs being longer that 3 minutes shows this trend (tiktok plays a role here too). They exploit the system that is in place to make as much money as they can and people copy them, whereas Taylor tries to change the system that's in place via her deals with Spotify, Apple music, her record label for example to try and alter how much people get paid. (Which I find kind of funny given the conversations here around her supporting Kamala etc. Haha)

But yeah, rambley take that I'm sure I've maybe got something wrong in here, but yeah :)

Phone Scavenger Hunt

First off, what phone do you have? I have an iPhone 8.

And what provider do you use? It’s a local one you wouldn’t know about, called Globe.

How long have you had your current phone? I can’t remember if it would be 3 or 4 years this 2021. Either way, it’s definitely been a while and I’ve been itching to upgrade. It’s too early to make such a big purchase, though.

Do you have any cases for it? Describe them. I have a clear case that I bought last year. Before that, I had a pink Otterbox case that I managed to destroy even though Otterbox is normally known for its durability. I just have a very unique ability to wreck everything I’ve ever owned lol.

How old were you when you got your first cellphone? I was technically 6, but it was meant to be a present for my 7th birthday. We threw a birthday party a month in advance because my dad had to fly back abroad for work before my actual birthday, but we wanted him to be present at the celebration so we decided throwing a party early was the best route.

What about your first smartphone? [If the answer is different] It was an iPhone 5S.

How old are you now? Dunno what this has to do with the theme of the survey but I am now 22.

How many pictures are thre currently on your phone? This question just made me so anxious hahaha. I have way too many photos; and upon checking, it turns out I currently have 6,266. My god do I need to clean up my camera roll this weekend.

How many videos? I have 227. I have no idea it’s gotten to be this many; I barely use my phone to take videos. I’ll go ahead and delete some of them right now, just to give my phone (and its storage) space to breathe.

What is your most recent picture of? It’s a work thing...I guess I’ll explain it so it can make more sense. So one of our clients has got this Lent campaign going on, and to spread word about it we’ve tapped a handful of food bloggers to try out the offers themselves and post about their experience on social media. Now that we’re in the middle of Holy Week they’ve gone ahead and uploaded their own posts, and I’m in charge of taking screenshots so I can show to the client that the execution had been successful.

And the most recent video? It’s a private vlog. Every Sunday, or at least every other Sunday I take a few minutes to sit down and do a weekly video thing where I talk about my ~mental~ and ~emotional~ status, and it’s basically a way to be in touch with myself and keep track of my progress. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually get to uploading them one day.

Do you have any albums? If so, of what? Yeah. I have one for Cooper, one for Kimi, and a bunch of tiny albums I’ve made where I compiled 4–5 photos of friends to post on their birthdays.

What pictures have you favorited? I have a lot of favorited photos. There’s no required category for me to label them as such.

Do you have any shared albums with friends or family or work? No. I’m not sure if I can do that, or how to do it if it is allowed.

Do you have any alarms set? For what time and for what occasions? I have a bunch of alarms but only because they’re archived into the Clock app and I just haven’t gotten around to deleting them. When I was still new at my work, I used to have alarms set for certain work tasks I have to take note of every week – but now that I’ve gotten into the groove of things, I don’t need the alarms to be reminded about them anymore.

Check your weather app, what is the weather and temperature where you live? It says ‘Mostly Clear’ and shows a temperature of 26ºC.

Do you have the YouTube app? Do you have your own channel? I do have the app and my own account, but I never use it to post videos. It’s nice to have my own channel so that my homepage can be tailored to my interests.

Do you have an email app? Which one do you use? I just have the default Email app that comes with iOS, but I never use it because it’s so wonky. It doesn’t refresh new emails and it takes forever when it does, and it doesn’t always show the full thread of email conversations. If I absolutely need to check my email for something I usually have to pull out my laptop.

Does it say that there is an update available on your phone or any apps? Yes, it reminds me everyday hahaha. I don’t update unless Apple has been planning a big revamp with new features, though; and if the updates are just to address bugs, I disregard the reminders.

Go into your contacts, how many contacts do you have total? It says I have 178.

Name all of your contacts under the letter M: Feels a tad bit invasive, so I’ll just name five people I have under M: Lui, Kim, Patrice, Danika, and Andi.

Do you have any contacts that are businesses rather than people? Which ones? No, I don’t really use text to contact businesses. If I wanted to inquire or order from one, I usually head to their social media page.

Go into your notes, how many notes do you have saved? This is another one I have a hoarding problem with lol. My phone says I currently have 561 notes, though I’m fairly certain the biggest chunk of it comes from minutes I’ve taken down from work meetings. It was a whole lot less when I was still in school.

What kinds of things do you save in your notes? Like I said, I use Notes for taking down minutes from meetings. There are also a few surveys on there, from times I didn’t have internet and couldn’t post them on here.

Do you have any voice memos saved? What of? Yep. Some of them were recordings I had to do for journalism classes I was assigned to do voiceovers; some are interviews, also from my journ class; and the rest are of me rambling.

Do you ever use the calculator app? Pretty frequently for work.

Do you ever use the Maps app? Not really. If I needed directions, I would check out Waze for that.

Do you have any health/fitness apps? Which ones? I still have the Nike Training app from the very brief time I wanted to start working out earlier this year.

Do you have the Instacart app? The what now? I’ve never even heard of that.

What about a delivery service like Postmates, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Doordash? I have the McDelivery app for McDonald’s, but I also have other general delivery apps like Grab, Lalamove, and Transportify.

Do you have something like Venmo, Cashapp, or Paypal? I have the Paypal app but I never use it. I also have a couple of e-wallet apps just in case I’d have to use them as a payment method, since some businesses I purchase from prefer certain ones. Ultimately, though, I use Grab’s mobile wallet the most often.

Do you use Bitmoji? I think I did before? I never used it all that regularly though. Didn’t see the point.

What other keyboards do you use besides English? Any? Filipino, Korean, and Emoji.

Which social media network apps do you have? Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, TikTok, and Snapchat. So I guess I have all the main ones?

If you have Instagram, what is your handle and how many followers? I have a very private one I only use for work. I didn’t want it to have any followers but at present there’s Angela (because she asked to follow it this week) and Bea (idk why).

What do you typically post on the various social media platforms? The only ones I regularly post on are Twitter and Facebook, and on either I share life updates (if there are any) and memes; though on Facebook I have to watch out what kind of memes I share and make sure they aren’t too offensive because I’m friends with relatives, workmates, and media on there lmao. But on Twitter, I basically have no filter.

Do you make TikTok videos? I don’t make any myself, but I do enjoy going through the app.

Do you only add people you know on Facebook? Yes, for the most part. I’ve taken to adding people as long as they’re from UP or my high school even though I’ve never met them as well, but if I sense that they only added me to try and sell me insurance OR try to get me into MLM, then it’s an instant unfriend for me.

Do you have an app that tracks Instagram followers? No, because I don’t need to track my Instagram followers. I’m off the radar as off the radar gets.

Do you have a Snapchat? Yeah, it’s still on my phone just because but I literally never touch it anymore.

Do you ever take selfies with filters? What app's filters do you use? Eh, just before. I don’t really take selfies anymore, period.

Do you use any apps like Depop or Poshmark or Etsy? No. Out of these three I’ve only ever heard of Etsy, too.

What messengers do you use to talk to people? Any besides just texting? I have Messenger to stay in touch with family and friends; Whatsapp and Viber for work; and Telegram just in case my friends want to play games.

Do you have any photo editing apps? Which ones? I have this app called Foodie that has some pretty filters. Otherwise, since I’m not on Instagram anyway I’m never on the lookout for photo editing apps; no one ever filters their photos on Facebook and Twitter lol.

Do you have any games? Which ones? I do have a ton of games on my phone. I never play any of them, but I keep them just in case I get bored enough to start revisiting them. I have word games, drinking games, games similar to Heads Up! where one person will have to guess the word on the screen while the phone is on their forehead, and gimmicky games like 1010! and Candy Crush haha.

Do you have any rideshare apps like Lyft or Uber? I have Grab, which is a rideshare, parcel delivery, food delivery, and online grocery app all in one.
