#like i can put on songs i like and make myself comfy and write or colour whatever
Note
hello! i've struggled with writer's block for so long that i've forgotten how to write something that i genuinely like... recently i've been trying to go back, but given my current schedule and me being in med school, it's impossible for me to sit down and just ... write but do you have any tips how i can slowly ease myself back into writing? thanks so much 🥹🙏🏼
Slowly Easing Back Into Writing (w/ a Busy Schedule)
1 - For Now, Write for Fun and Relaxation - When you're neck deep in work, school, parenting, caregiving, or any other of life's big commitments, you may want to go the low pressure route with writing and let it be an outlet for fun and relaxation. This gives you carte blanche to write when, what, and how much you want without having to worry about any sort of "progress." And the beauty is, whether you write five words a day or five-hundred, you are still "making progress" in terms of honing your writing skills and adding to a body of work. You just don't have to be focused on that for now.
2 - Meet Yourself Where You're At - Even when you give yourself permission to write for fun, you may still find yourself wanting to create goals, a writing routine, and a writing schedule... and that's fine, just be sure to meet yourself where you're at when creating these things. In other words, be honest with yourself about things like available writing time, energy requirements, potential distractions, steady commitments, and other potential challenges to meeting goals and sticking with a routine/schedule. Be flexible. Have reasonable expectations. And give yourself grace when things don't go as planned.
3 - Go For the "Low Hanging Fruit" - Getting back into writing doesn't have to mean pursuing big writing projects, and it honestly probably shouldn't when you have other big things going on that need to take priority. Luckily, there's a lot of "low hanging fruit" you can go after to get your words in. Those will be different for everyone according to where you find inspiration and motivation, but some examples would be journaling about your day or dreams, writing reviews of books and movies, writing out your feelings about a particular current event or something unusual you experienced that day, flash fiction writing prompts, short poem, free writing, writing exercises, etc. In other words, things that allow you to write as much or as little as you want, and you can switch it up depending on how you're feeling.
4 - Spend Time Filling Your Creative Well - If you're limited on time and energy, don't underestimate the importance of using the free time you have to fill your creative well... read books/short stories/fan-fiction/magazines/news stories, listen to audibooks or podcasts, watch TV shows or movies, play video games, watch documentaries, learn about things that interest you, research your family tree... anything that puts stories and story elements into your head is going to help you be a better writer. And if that's all you have time to do right now, that's okay, too!
5 - Make It a "Whole Thing" - If circumstances permit, take whatever writing time you have each week or month and "make it a whole thing." Get yourself a nice/pretty/fun notebook and some nice and/or colorful pens. Create a writing playlist. Find a special place to write (it can change as needed) where you'll feel safe, comfortable, and will be relatively distraction free. Create a little writing routine for yourself, like drinking a certain beverage, starting by listening to a certain song, wearing a particular hat or comfy cardigan, eating a particular snack, putting on some mood lighting... whatever works. It could even be as simple as putting a particular object next to your keyboard like a pretty rock, a scented candle, a certain plushie... anything your mind can start to associate with "this is writing time" can help trigger things that will get you into writing mode when it's time.

Coquette night routine:
My current Spring night routine: 🌸🍵🌙
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once I get in from being out for the day/doing work I usually get changed into some comfy clothes, and light a candle for a relaxing evening ahead. The sky is still so light outside, (I can’t wait for summer) so I have a lovely evening ahead of me ♡
I tidy my room and make sure everything is clean and put away. I usually open my bedroom window too, to air it (if I haven’t done so already in the day) and to get some of the Spring fresh air before I settle down for the evening. I spray my room with a floral room spritz too ♡
I usually read or journal on my bed until I’m called for dinner. I love reading fairytales in late spring and anything light-hearted/romantic ♡
For dinner I have been having light meals. We’re coming up to summer and the weather has been rather warm recently so something light is perfect. Either soup or salad, and usually before or after dinner I have some cold fruit too ♡
Once I’ve eaten I will watch a comfort film. The Harry Potter series has been added to my countries Netflix recently so I have been watching them every evening. Sometimes I have a light, sweet snack whilst watching too. But I never eat more than 3 hours before bed usually ♡
I make some hot lemon tea and go back into my room to watch a comfort episode of something. I love the Beatrix Potter/Peter rabbit episodes you can watch online for free. They are so comforting, beautiful and radiate such coquette, cottagecore vibes. Perfect for this time of year ♡
Usually I play a wind-down video game. Either Animal crossing or Minecraft. I associate both of these games with Spring because they are light-hearted and allow me to be creative of an evening ♡
Once I’ve let my food digest for a couple of hours or so, I get my yoga mat out and begin stretching for the evening. I try and do Pilates/yoga or a K-pop dance routine everyday and a stretching routine. (Apart from setting my alarm) I also don’t go on my phone from this point onwards, so there are no screens/blue lights before bed ♡
Shower time. I usually shower quite late before bed and every morning too. I just like the way it makes me feel more fresh but obviously not everyone likes doing this so don’t feel you have to! I use my marshmallow shower gel, coconut body cream or my cherry-blossom body cream too. I love washing the day off ♡
Then I take off my days makeup and do my skincare whilst usually watching Vogue beauty secrets. It’s such a comforting thing to watch when your taking off/putting on your makeup. I also spray myself with a lavender body mist to help me sleep, and of course I brush my teeth ♡
I then get changed into a nightgown or some cotton/airy pyjamas. I don’t like to wear anything too constricting in Spring, which is why I love vintage nightwear. Or I wear my Brandy Melville, heart lace pyjamas ♡
I brush my hair through thoroughly whilst listening to classical music, and tie it up either with a ribbon or hair tie so it doesn’t mess up when I sleep ♡
I pick out my outfit for the next day the night before and lay it out on my vanity so I know what I’m wearing the following morning ♡
I turn my electric blanket on if it is a little chilly that night and say goodnight to my parents. I switch my fairy lights on and get into bed ♡
I either listen to relaxing “Lana Del Rey” songs or nursery rhymes ♡
I usually journal about my day to reflect on everything that has happened and I write my to-do list for the following day ♡
I read every night for half an hour or more. Usually it’s a fairytale so my head is filled with magic before I sleep ♡
Before I sleep I play rain music or rainforest sounds, or I choose a subliminal to listen to overnight from my library, and I spray my pillow with “Lavender pillow mist” or I use a sleep oil to help me get to sleep ♡
If I haven’t done it already, I set my alarm for 7AM, to ensure I have a productive morning the next morning. I make sure to get at least 8-10 hours of sleep. I love waking up early and listening to the bird song, especially now since the Sunrise is at 4am ♡
I count sheep & swans and like to imagine fantasy lands in my head before I sleep, and hope to be transported there in my dreams, before I finally drift off to the land of Z z z ♡

sitting on itzy's lap out of habit.
Chaeryeong - fluff - 609 words
Other verions: Yeji - Lia - Ryujin - Chaer - Yuna
Chaeryeong: would instinctively push you off, then regret and talk you into coming back, swearing she won't let herself be surprised again. She would be super nervous the whole time tho, so it's not that comfortable.
why is it my itzy content is flopping ? where are MIDZY ? hahaha, i find this writing very cute, had the idea while i was reminiscing a mini apple flavored kit-kat i bought in Japan... (btw i try not to care when sumtin flops. It's hard bcos social media made me used to look forward to big numbers but hey, i write for myself and the niche fandoms that could enjoy it-)
Through the screeching sound of chairs being dragged on the floor, people starting to chat again and the door getting opened by the teacher, you search for your phone in your school bag. On the tip of your fingers, you feel it and grab it as you’re lifting your head up. There you saw her, sitting on her chair, hair all over her notebooks. ChaerYeong was still writing something and didn’t even bother to look at you. You got up and started pushing your chair back under your desk, when you remembered you had something for her. Well the both of you. You reach again to your bag, taking out two mini kit-kats, one strawberry flavored, the other peach. You got up again and started walking to your friend. She still hadn;t turned her head, but she knew you were coming anyway.
“Sup Y\N ?” She greeted, without even looking at you, still finishing up prettifying her notes. “3rd period is still as boring as ever, but great. Chaer, we have a 10 minute break, better make the most out of it, stop thinking about class for 10 lovely minutes”, you answered. “Hm right’. She suddenly started tidying up her desk and putting her books away. When she was done, she pushed her chair back, to be further away from her desk. She finally turned diagonally to see you better. “I don’t wanna get up tho. It’s not like there’s anything interesting to do anyways”. “True”, you agreed, looking at your kit-kats. You handed the strawberry one to her, which she accepted, thanking you softly. You knew she’d prefer it anyway.
As you started opening its wrapper, you mindlessly started sitting on her lap. I mean, it’s not like there was another free seat. But you could only start bending your knees that Chaeryeong had already pushed you off. “W-what are you doing ?!” Embarrassed that she reacted too loudly, she looked around her to see if anyone was staring at her, but thankfully no one cared. The classroom was so busy, everyone was focused on their own thing. Unimpressed, you looked at her face. She seemed flustered more than mad, so it was okay, it’s not like you broke any boundaries, just caught her by surprise.
“Uhm well nothing, just sitting sorry”. No hard feelings nor embarrassment in your tone, you just dead-pan started eating your kit-kat. Realizing she might have overrated, Chaer started talking you out into coming back: “Sorry, I, uh was startled. But come, it’d be unfair for you to stay standing while I'm comfy here.” After a few back and forths, you finally accepted and placed yourself on her lap.
You were both facing the table, but you turned your head back to her when you were talking. “You have a peach one right ? I wanna try it please, can I ?” You nodded as you stretched your arm behind you. She stuck her head up and took a bite out of the chocolate. As she expressed her delightment (“Mhmm that’s what im talking about !”), you whispered under your breath that she was so cute. She heard it, of course, and you felt her whole body tense up. I mean tense up even more than it already was.
To be completely honest, sitting with her was not the most comfortable thing ever, because she was so nervous. But spending time close to her like this, made you overlook that.
A\N: did you like it ? My fav itzy song recently is snowy. Comeback was announced this mornin !

I have a question: What inspires you to write? Every time I try to, I can't seem to find any inspiration, and it frustrates me to no end
I’m a big simp. That’s true for like writing for the blog, because I love these characters and I love coming up with ideas for them and being able to write them out, and I very much like providing content for all of you. Whether it’s fluff or angst, I thoroughly enjoy being able to give you guys something that can emotionally influence you and make your day better and that’s the main thing that keeps me going for the blog.
The other thing honestly is just that I really like writing. Sometimes I get writers block or I don’t have the energy to write something some days, but the big reason I’ve had this blog for three years is because I just really like writing. I like being able to contribute to a fandom and put my own spin on things. I write because I want to and because it makes me happy.
I think if you put pressure on yourself, it’s only going to make art block worse for you. Listen to music, watch a show, take a walk, sit somewhere comfy. A lot of my ideas come from the things around me. Also just… Space out and think. Sometimes I’ll imagine myself in a scene with a character, or something I think a character would say, and I’ll expand on it and write it out. Imagination is key, so just picture the scenes you’d like, think about them, and work on writing them. Also, don’t think you have to write a whole thing at once. Write down some ideas, some lines, chunks of something, and if you get writers block, just go back another time when your head is clearer.
I also don’t know if you have ADHD or not, but I do, and I’ve found I focus and concentrate best with something playing in the background. Sometimes it’s songs I like, but I also really like ambiance playlists you can find on YouTube of like jazz or classical stuff.
That’s just my take on it, sorry if this isn’t helpful I just be out here wildin.

5 Agere Activities for a Rainy Day (Indoors Edition)
Ciao lovelies! We’re moving into spring here where I am, and with the spring, comes LOTS of rain. There are many outside ideas to do for agere, (and yes, even some rainy day ones!) but today, I’d like to share 5 of my favorite agere activities to do on a rainy day, or on days where I can’t go outside (snow, too hot, etc.)..
All of the ideas I’m sharing today are my personal faves!
Idea #1: Change your doll’s (or stuffies!) outfits….or make them some outfits!
Tumblr media
Super old pic, I know (I have wayyy different hair now, lol), but this idea is still one of my faves. Picking new outfits for my dolls is always super fun and sometimes I even have a mini photoshoot with them after changing their looks. I can also turn this idea into a full afternoon of play by setting up a “doll salon” to select their looks and they each get a spray of choice perfumes and hair brushes :)
If you don’t have clothes for your dolls/stuffies, you can also make them clothing or accessories! I’m aiming to put some tutorials of that sort on the blog and possibly on the Youtube channel soon, but for now, here’s some tutorials that I have already made to get you started:
youtube
youtube
youtube
youtube
There are many fun and simple methods for making doll clothing or accessories, I once again have to highly recommend MyFroggyStuff’s Youtube channel for this! She has awesome ideas and she makes it all seem so easy.
Idea #2: Take a fun Bubble Bath!
Tumblr media
Taking a fun and relaxing bath is a nice way to both regress, and practice self-care! You can find cute bath toys like these at dollar stores, and bath bombs, bubble bath, bath fizzies, etc as well! I even love buying the “bath puppets” which are just washcloths that go on your hands like a puppet, and are shaped like animals! I have a sharkie and a froggie. When I take baths or showers, I like to imagine going through a checklist with my scrubby buddy (most often Mr Sharkie) to make sure I get 1000000% clean! Sometimes I even make a little song of this and hum it to myself. :)
It’s also nice having access to fun body washes and soap! My current favorite body wash is scented from “Viva las Vegas SWEET” which is some kind of perfume thing, but it smells like candy, and it looks cute out of the tube! (it’s pink and shimmery 0.0)
I’ve also seen body washes for babyshark, Barbie, and other kids franchises! Oh, and even some grown-ups products are still cute for this too! I have a Hello Kitty sugar scrub that was intended for grown-ups, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t cute anyway! :) Oh, and Crayola makes body wash “crayons” as well, the tubes are crayon shaped and the body washes are colorful!
Okie, okie, that’s a lot of me rambling about baths, sorry >.<
Idea #3: Play Video Games!
Tumblr media
Sometimes there’s nothing better than wearing comfy clothes, having a nice snack, and playing video games! On rainy days this activity feels super cozy and wonderful, and there are lots of games out there that are cute and good for agere!
My current faves are Animal Crossing New Horizons on my Switch, Sandbox Coloring App on my phone, Nintendogs on my 3Ds, and Minecraft on my PC! I love that games are on a lot of different devices, so that I can always find something to do~
I think Animal Crossing is a really cool game for age regressors, and the New Horizons one is very cute for a lot of reasons! I can dress my avatar up in cute fashions and i can even buy…..pacis! and…..Cute kawaii dresses!!! :0 You could make your dream agere outfits in this game, and i do it all the time, tbh!
Idea #4: Journaling or Writing in a Diary!
Tumblr media
I love love love my regression journal! I use stickers, washi tape, coloring pages, crayons, markers, and more on it, and it’s really freeing to have a journal that doesn’t need to be neat or tidy. My daily journal is also my regression journal, as I am someone who is semi-regressed all the time! :3 I also do vent journal entries in this journal (to share with my therapist), and lists, collages, doodles, info pages…lots of things!
I have an article on here actually about Agere Journaling!
I also want to briefly ramble about my stickers, I have found 2 really good sources of stickers for my journal. The first is a subscription service called Stickii, which sends you a themed sticker pack every month, these packs include stickers from lots of independent artists and I really love each one I’ve gotten so far (I’ve gotten 2 so far.) **DISCLAIMER: I am not sponsored or affiliated with this brand, I just wanted to give a personal recommendation!
The second is Blippo Kawaii Shop, which sells sticker mystery bags which I have an opening video of on OFT’s IG! :) I love their selection of kawaii stickers, and it’s always fun getting a package from them. Also… once again: **DISCLAIMER: I am not sponsored or affiliated with this brand, I just wanted to give a personal recommendation!
Idea #5: Play with Legos or building blocks!
Tumblr media
Something that I love doing when I am small is playing with building blocks or legos! I like the Minecraft sets or the dollar store legos! :) I use the legos to build things for my mini town and dollhouse, as well as make dollrooms! :)
Megablocks have larger blocks as well if you regress younger and want something more simple. Also… once again: **DISCLAIMER: I am not sponsored or affiliated with this brand, I just wanted to give a personal recommendation!
You can use building blocks to make obstacle courses for your minis, specific types of buildings for playing pretend, mecha robots for epic battles…….>.<’ sorry my brain totally went to gundam XD
They also sell building block sets for making iconic characters like pikachu and other pokemon, as well as other anime and game characters! I think this type of block is called a nano block.
CONCLUSION:
What do you think of these 5 agere activities for a rainy day? What activities are your favorite when small? Let me know in the comments, I love hearing from you lovelies and having great discussions!
And now for the most important thing in this outro…..I get to say……
STAY AWESOME!! You are awesome, just as you are, and you should look at yourself with love and kindness. Don’t forget to love yourself, whether you practice self-care, treat yourself, or take care of your future self by getting a task done ahead of time, self love is important!
Okie, all my ramblings aside, see you in my next post, video, or whatever comes next!

Tips for Musical Theater!
Disclaimer these are not professional tips these are just what I've learned from experience in theater and musical theater
1. Always have an excessive amount of water on you especially during long rehearsals. I once almost passed out during a three hour rehearsal for newsies because along with being Spot Conlon, Oscar Delancey, and a Bowery Brigade girl, I was a backup dancer in Carrying the Banner and King of New York since I was one of the stronger dancers. One day we had a three hour rehearsal and I was basically either dancing or singing the entire time without water and nearly passed out so always bring water!
2. Feet comfort! When at a long dance rehearsal, your feet will hurt like hell. Bring ibuprofen or other pain meds, as well as comfy shoes for before and afterwards. Fuzzy socks help me too when my feet are sore
3. Character development! Embrace your character(s) give them backstories, give them attitudes, make them your own. With every character i ever get i write an entire notebook page at least full of their backstory, personality, preferences, etc. And after every performance in my last two years I've gotten compliments left and right about my character depth on stage.
4. Don't push yourself too hard! If you need a break, tell your director and they will most likely understand. Circling back to me almost passing out, it could have been easily avoided by me asking to borrow someone's water bottle, a sit down for a few, and in general me not pushing myself as hard as I was. There is a difference between hard work and over working yourself, its important to find that balance before something bad happens. Things happen, and sometimes you get overworked in the moment if you are in a situation I was in where I had three characters and several songs as a dancer, where you're gonna need to put your needs first.
5. No matter what happens on stage, don't break character! Even if the audience laughs, try your hardest not to break character. If you laugh when the audience laughs, it has the potential of messing up the whole scene.
6. This one is for period-havers, if you're even remotely close to your cycle, wear a pad or at least a liner in your costume. During a play I was in I almost bled through my costume because I was early.
7. Always have extra stuff. Tissues, bobby-pins, makeup, and I recommend for back to back performances, shoes to wear in between. During newsies we had two shoes in one night, thirty minutes in between, and I still had my dance shoes on and my feet had blisters by the end of the night.
8. Doesn't matter what shoes you're wearing, I always recommend putting a bandaid on my heel and other rubbing areas. Lots of times when you have lots of scenes you will barely get a moment to sit, so your feet need to be comfortable. I understand this can be hard with dancing shoes like ballet slippers or tap shoes (speaking from experience) but most other shoes should be fine with the bandaids
Hope this helps to those starting out in theater/musical theater or just any theater/musical theater kids in general!

My Personal Wheel of the Year: Part Two:
(WARNING, NSFW, mentioning sexuality, BDSM, kink, and sexual assault)
The second is 💕Heart💕, which takes place during the entire month of February.
Heart focuses on love and sexuality in all of their glorious forms. For me, it is a way to reclaim my heart, soul, and body in all of the wonderful, colorful spectrums that makes me who I am, and allows me to be able to express myself the way I see fit, as well as allowing me to love by body, especially when the world desperately wants to tear me down and make me feel ashamed of how I was born, and how I express myself. I am unique, and I am loved because I love myself, and I am lovable.
This is a very intimate month. Looking within and finding yourself, and recognizing who you are, and what you stand for and believe in, is vital to your Heart, soul, body and mind. And loving/appreciating others, and making them feel loved/appreciated, is also vital.
Everyone deserves to know that they matter.
• The Colors I associate with Heart are: Pink, red, white, gold, and glitter!!!
• The Deities I associate with Heart are: Aphrodite, Pan, and Satan!!!
• The Foods I associate with Heart are: Cookies, cakes and other sweets, especially chocolate (food and drink), baked goods, genital-shaped candies, cakes and other foods, pomegranates, colored drinks to symbolize blood (blood comes in many beautiful colors), aka life, energy, passion, etc (example, you can use crystal light to put in water and stir or shake it up, and it’ll look like blood).
• The Flowers I associate with Heart are: Roses, peonies, sweet peas, carnations, primroses, cherry blossoms, meadowsweets, butterfly peas, orchids, etc. (love, sexuality, fertility)
• Things to Do:
- Celebrate self-love and write down the things which you love, adore and appreciate about yourself, and remind yourself that you are loved, appreciated, and worthy. And nothing anyone says or does can ever take these facts away from you. Their words mean nothing, and they mean nothing. You know who you are, you know you deserve everything you want. Period.
- Write your affirmations and read them whenever you’re feeling down, when you need a boost of confidence and empowerment, and when you need a reminder that you’re worthy.
- Pamper and treat yourself. Shower, put lotion on and some comfy clothing, wear a cute, fluffy hat or style your hair with accessories, make some soup and sit down and watch a lovely movie. Simply relax.
- Enjoy foods and beverages that you love.
- Write in your journal about the things that you love and why.
- Write about the people you love and why.
- Write about the things and the people you are grateful for.
- Spend time with your loved ones.
- Make gifts for yourself and/or your loved ones.
- Do the things that you love to do, or discover new things to do. (Ex: writing, drawing, scrapbooking, sewing, crocheting, making music, singing, dancing, going for walks, admiring nature, makeup, hairstyling, etc.)
- Look up lovecore and/or romantic aesthetics.
- Listen to songs about love (romantic, platonic, self-love) and/or sex.
- Promote and practice safe sex, and advocate for sexual education.
- Celebrate and practice safe, and consensual BDSM/kink.
- Celebrate diverse bodies, diverse love, romance, and sexuality.
- Continue to advocate for victims of sexual assault. Continue to educate people on sexual assault and trauma, and abolish rape culture.
- Pleasure yourself. Explore the many different ways that you can. Experiment. Take control of your body and know that you deserve autonomy. Your body is yours.
- Dress in the colors of Heart, decorate yourself in hearts, flowers, and other things associated with the month.
- Decorate your altar with hearts and heart-shaped things, heart and flowery artwork, flowers, sex toys, genital toys, and BDSM items and artwork.
- Draw artwork with hearts, flowers, genitals and other intimate body parts, BDSM items and outfits, and anything else you love.

A year and some change in retrospective
Okay so technically It’s like a year and 2 months and like a day. While I made the account and started posting things in November of 2022 I made my intro post on the 23rd of Jan last year so that’s when I’m going to count myself as having officially joined lol. I got thinking about this on my way into work today and I got a little reflective. I’m going to be kind of rambling (what else is new lol) but it dawned on me that, damn dude, a whole year is still like 300+ days and life can go wild directions. I also figured this may be nice for the newer people who have started to follow me (hello and thank you btw). Things won’t necessarily be in chronological order, I mean they might, but, I’m also liable to jump around.
So let’s start with some backstory, all good stories start with backstory yeah?
Me and my -at the time- bf(we’re still together lol just fiance now) were on our way to my aunt's wedding…running late actually because I had the day wrong and blah blah blah. To kill time on the 3hr car ride I started to spit ball this idea for a story I had brewing, that would then become Rituals and Red Tape. I was writing it for myself for a while as a way to deal with being let go from my last job. Well I then had the silly idea to maybe share this with people, so then we get to November and I make a profile and start posting.
That’s right, I started my path on here to be someone putting out original works of writing. I mean, if you go to my profile and check out the pinned post you’d know this but let’s be real, nobody really does that lol. And as those of you putting out original stuff also know, it can be pretty quiet at first. I had in my mind that I was just going to have my stuff on my blog, maybe reblog writing stuff only; that uh…didn’t last long. I’ve met some pretty cool people on here, even if we never really talk I’m happy to see your stuff cross my dash. It was the whole song and dance of you follow me and I follow you, support network stuff. Took part in tag games, an OC fighting tourney thing, and just some other fun things. All the while I’m posting little one-offs, a new WIP here and there…that I eventually just kinda stop working on in favor of my first child.
I make a Wattpad and start posting what could be considered the 1.5 draft of the story. Things are fun, quiet, but fun
I start to engage in more fandom related things, because why not?
Then something happens, something that I didn’t think would take me in the direction I am going now.
I buy a $30 mic.
Voice acting and acting in general were always a passion of mine as a kid, and with a new stable job and comfy living I thought it was time to revisit some old joy. What was even better is that an artist I was following had a “casting call” for an animation she was working on. So with my little microphone and audacity(the program lol) I do the thing that changed my blog, I tried out…and I got a little part! I’ve never really been one to yearn for the spotlight but I took a chance and it worked out, and I was hooked after that.
So I started to use that mic more and more. First recording a short story of my own, recording a short story by a pal, then…well I guess you can call it doing some dub work.
Now in the past I had people follow me just out of the blue, but, with the first Five Pebbles recording it started to happen more and more. And those posts, well, they were getting some attention. Not a lot mind you, but like, more than the original works. Now I don’t say this with anger or bitterness, it’s just how stuff like this works out. So with what I thought was going to be a one-off thing, I knew I wanted to keep doing it. Yes the notoriety was fun, but more so, I was making something that was bringing people joy. So I recorded more, and more people saw it and liked it, reblogged it too.
Then I had that funny little idea. Something new to me that scratches a few itches at once. If you’ve followed me for THIS you know, the Kel Logs. Not only was I playing a game that I really enjoy(btw if you haven’t you should go play the game it is fun and but I won’t bog this down with info dumping), but I was doing some original writing and voice acting. It was the perfect storm.
Now I know I’m not the most well known person out there and this little fan fiction project isn’t like super famous, which I’m very okay with lol, but like the comments and stuff show I was having an impact on people in a small way. And it was having an effect on me, I was becoming more comfortable with my voice. Not going to sour the mood too much but I’ve struggled with voice dysphoria for a while and the joy I am able to bring people is so important to me, which I know sounds selfish.
So now here we are in the present, I know I’ve missed some stuff and simplified others, with people following me for fandom things and all that jazz. I thank every single one of you. Whenever my stuff get reblogged I do try my best to say something in the comments to those who say things in tags lol, sometimes tumblr won’t let me @ you but know I try. You all have no idea how much it means that I can bring joy to you and I don’t feel I can pay you all back other than to keep doing what I’m doing.
I haven’t worked on my original stuff in a while but I don’t think I’ll be tossing it to the side. In fact I know I won’t. I have a story I want to tell and it will be. So if you have any interest, please check it out and let me know what you all think. I want to always improve but I can’t know where to patch things up if I don’t hear about a leak lol. I’m getting super rambly so I’m gonna stop this here.
1 year later and I’ve gone from solely original writing to a strange hybrid of that and fandom stuff, and I couldn’t be happier with where I am.
So once again, thank you all so much for liking what I do and I hope to keep bringing you things to make you feel emotions.

🛤️ 👻 🔥 ✋ 🌸 🏞️ 🛣️!!!!!!
Lonesome Dreams 🛤️ — What is your most frequent recurring dream, and what do you think it means?
oohh uhh hmmm i dont really have recurring dreams, like idk if i've ever had the same dream twice? I mean recently i had two dreams in a row about me meeting up with online friends so there's that?? i think it means i really want to meet up with my online friends LMFAOFDSKJK
The Ghost on the Shore 👻 — If you were a ghost, what place would you haunt?
OOOOHH this is such a cool question. i'd love to be a ghost that haunts a forest or not to like steal from the song but a beach. i just love the imagery the song provides, but i also love like. the place i feel most grounded in and stuff are forests. like i love digging my hands into the dirt and stuff, so i could totally see myself just haunting a random forest up north where not a lot of people go to.
She Lit a Fire 🔥 — Describe a stranger that you only met once but have never forgotten.
i feel like there are so many but now im blanking?? i love interactions with random strangers, it makes me feel hope in the world. i mean there was this really nice time where i was like . super into the music i was listening to lmao, i felt on top of the world, and i noticed this other person on the train staring at me LMAOSDFKJDKSJ it was kinda off putting but like . they just were smiling at me and stuff and i could tell that my enthusiasm was infectious and idk i just felt like that was a really nice moment we both shared
Dead Man’s Hand ✋ — What would be your reaction to finding a dead body by a desert road?
uh . panic LMAO i think my gut would drop and my heart would start to feel faster and i'd look around quickly to see if anyone else were nearby and i'd probably immediately text my friends being like "I JUST FOUND A DEAD BODY??!?!?!????" and then call 911 LMAOSDFKJDSKAF help i have my priorities straight
my hands would probably shake like i am not good with gore at alllll, i'd also probably find it kinda cool and probably analyse it (as much as i could without feeling sick) to see if there were any initial outside wounds and try to see if i could figure out the cause of death
La Belle Fleur Sauvage 🌸 — What flowers do you want in your grave?
honestly i love all flowers :D but my go to fav are lillies so... those?
Wait by the River 🏞️ — Where do you go to collect your emotions?
(pssttt what does collect emotions mean? HELP does it mean like . to remain calm, to get in touch with them, to control them?)
im gonna go with like . what do i do to calm myself down when i get overwhelmed and uhh, going on walks really helps. especially if it's raining or cold outside. if it's hot outside than that doesn't work and i'll lie down on the tile floor and help that cools me down. but yeah i'll go on a walk. there's a park close to my house that is really nice so i'll go there and just sit next to a tree and listen to the birds. it's really grounding. another grounding thing i tend to do is put my hand on trees. idk why but i've always felt... more stabilized when i do that. it makes me feel connected to nature which makes me feel more at peace and stuff. same with me digging my hands into the dirt as i mentioned previously. i dont know i just really like being one with nature lmaoadsfjkaskdjf (that being said i do not like getting muddy .)
When the Night Is Over 🛣️ — What is your favourite thing to do in the rain?
OOOH in the rain? as in outside? probably just stand in it. and let it seep over my body. i love getting absolutely soaked (when i want to LMAO if i have to be somewhere or whatever or i get caught in the rain then it is not fun. but when i go on a walk and i know i can be home relatively quickly, then i love getting soaked).
on rainy days in general? i love curling up on the couch, under a blanket, and drinking tea. now whether im writing, watching a show, or reading, doesn't really matter tbh. i just love comfy couch vibes with tea. it makes me really happ :))

I have a question-
How do you have the motivation and concentration to write and keep it?
I start writing, get a good amount done, literally one word or none before my mind is like, "Hey, remember that one-shot you started 5 years ago but never finished? Yeah you should go do that."
Then I get distracted on the way of doing that sometimes. I was supposed to write for my series last night but I just, apparently, needed to re-do my tumblr set up and also edit blogs.
Basically, how do you get your brain to function?
[anon because sending an ask out of it is so scary for some reason >_>]
hi love! i want to start off by saying that everyone is different, and what motivates me might not motivate you. i have ADD that's currently unmedicated, so i'm rather terrible at focusing, but here's what i normally do:
get comfy somewhere! get tea, get ice water, get a snack, light a candle, go to the bathroom, get a jacket so that you're not cold, just make it so that you don't have any reason to get up in the middle of writing! then, play some music on your phone, so that it's occupied. if you want to pick it up and use it, maybe watch tiktoks or play a game, you'll most likely shut off the music, and it will remind you that you're being unproductive. make sure you put on music that won't distract you though! i usually use songs i don't know the words to, because i have a tendency to mouth lyrics that i do know, and it distracts me. i also often play classical music, as it's instrumental and not lyrical. or, if it helps, play asmr like rain sounds, maybe a crackling fireplace, etc.
try keeping only one tab open, and make it the tab that you're writing on! it's tempting to switch between tabs if one seems a lot more fun than writing.
set small goals for yourself, with rewards after them. if you finish that paragraph, you can take a five minute break (but make sure you actually stop the break after five minutes and go back to writing!). after you figure out this tricky dialogue, read a fic instead of writing one. what i do sometimes if i'm really fucked over in terms of focusing is i will literally not let myself get up for any reason until i'm finished with a blurb so if i have to use the bathroom i get writing done a lot faster 💀
i want to say: don't get discouraged by a lack of focus. I've been on and off of pinterest all day, and i really should be writing, but sometimes you need a break. give yourself those little exceptions, because you don't want writing to become a chore or a bother. be nice to yourself, but be firm, and hopefully your writing starts flowing a bit more because of that :D

Six Decibels of Separation: The Big Lebowski Soundtrack
I can toe-tally understand the cult mentality of The Big Lebowski, a movie that can be both adored and completely overlooked by so many people. “You want a toe? I can get you a toe. Believe me. There are ways, dude. You don’t want to know about it.  Believe me. Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o’clock this afternoon.... with nail polish.”
Forget about the fucking toe. This movie is one of my favorites and I am slowly realizing that I have probably already written a fanboy piece about this movie. This is probably due to the fact that I drink when I watch this movie and I write when I drink. This is like a G-rated Burroughs scenario and I am down for a time.
For the sake of argument, I would like to focus on the music in the movie. It is in this comfy space that I think we might all find some common ground.
undefined
youtube
Lets start out with some Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lookin Out My Back Door, a classic song, but if you only have a minute and you want something to laugh at, the video above will check those boxes.
Being a huge fan of Santana, I always enjoy the musical backdrop to the punch line of an amazing joke in the movie. If you haven’t seen it, the smashed out windshield and Jeff Bridges visual frustration aren’t nearly as comical, but this loop of the guys riding to Oye Como Va cracks me up every time!
undefined
youtube
Nobody fucks with tha jesus. You know this or you don’t, but if you’ve seen The Big Lebowski, you know that given his pedo backstory, tha jesus might not be someone you want to fuck with. In either case, I’d like the share an anecdote from my youth. To properly date myself, I had asked a friend to burn a CD for me and I asked that he put Hotel California on there for me. I ended up getting the cut by the Gypsy Kings and while I might have been pissed at first, I have come to love this version more than any other...
https://youtu.be/61NJnUL7Fcs
Arguably the intro song would have been the poetic beginning, or even end, to this foray into Musical Lebowskianism, but do you see what happens? Do you see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass? The Man in Me is not an appropriate answer to this question, but it does make sweet ear candy for the lazy malaise of the film. Bob Dylan was a chameleon and this song is but one example.

youtube
It is important to respect the classics. While I won’t pretend to have known the song made famous by the Sons of the Pioneers, Tumbling Tumbleweeds has a soothing nature about it and I’m here for it. Add to it Sam Elliot’s baritone twang and you’ve got the setup for an epic movie indeed.
undefined
youtube
Impossible it would be to talk about classics and not mention Requiem in D Minor, a song you’ve heard a thousand times and might not know the name. After you rewatch this movie, or based on this musical journey decide to watch for the first time, do yourself a favor and grab a book off the shelf, loop this song and shock yourself at how much better you read with this music in the background. Say what you want, but you’ll feel like a genius. For those looking only for a tune and a laugh, click to watch the scene below and enjoy The Dude’s ability to say ‘fuck it’ better than anyone (sorry I can’t post the video directly, evidently you can only post five video’s per post... probably should have learned that by now).
The Big Lebowski (clip 10) "What makes a man, Mr. Lebowski?"
Well I hope you enjoyed your journey through the musical folly and forte of the soundtrack to the cult classic Coen Brothers film, The Big Lebowski. I would highly recommend it, whether it stands the test of time or not, but at the very least I hope you come to appreciate the soundtrack.
“Look, I had a rough night and I hate the fuckin Eagles, Man.”

I was tagged by the lovely @nxposure and actually liked most of the 17 questions that were asked, so let's go! (And thank you, Mof!)
Nickname: Bean, but only one person is allowed to call me by that term of endearment and it's so fucking weird when she calls me by my real name that I immediately get anxious. In another context I have recently been called Bubbles a lot, referring to the powerpuff girl, and I love my Buttercup and Blossom so much. We're fighting the good fight together ✊🏼
Sign: cancer sun, virgo moon, sagittarius rising. Looked that up for funsies once, but don't think about it a lot.
Height: 174cm. No clue what that is in feet.
Last thing I googled: the university degree that I would like to apply for and start next year. It's a psychology program with a focus on society which is exactly the shit I love and also great for wanting to work in political education and campaigning.
Song stuck in my head:
The gay lampshade cowboy gets stuck in my head a lot. I love the pathos, I love the queerness, I love his voice.
Number of followers: 220 apparently. Two more would be a nice milestone :D
Amount of sleep: Seven hours I guess, but it wasn't really refreshing as I fell asleep after crying a lot and then woke up with a headache of course.
Lucky number: Four. It's been my favourite ever since I was little. I was born on a forth and my name starts with the same letter as the number (in my native tongue at least). Two excellent arguments as a kid.
Wearing: layers! Two pairs of socks, a coat, all the shebang. It's snowing!
Movies/books that summarize me: Michael Ende's Momo. It's an awesome children's book that can basically be handed out as anti-capitalist propaganda. My copy always lays beside my bed.
Favourite song:
I can't even put into words what this songs means to me. This is one of my forever favourites and it also is a litmus test for my mental health. When I can't bring myself to sing along with Nina anymore, then I must be doing really bad.
Favourite instrument: the saxophone. In my teens I played the alto-sax and now it's collecting dust in a corner of my room. But you just gotta love the sax's unmatched versatility: it can make you dance, it can make you cry, it can make you horny, the full range of human emotions.
Asthetic: comfy, casual, bright smiles. Quite classic and basic, I guess. Sometimes with a maritime or botanical touch if that makes sense.
Favourite author: I really like Carlos Ruiz Zafón's writing style. Also Naomi Alderman.
Favourite animal noise: the cawing of the crows that we regularly feed peanuts out of our window. It's them telling us we're here and we're hungry and obviously we run at their command
Random: my nails are currently painted black with a glitter top coat. Buttercup brought all his polishes and wanted me to try. Looks cool, but doesn't feel like me, as I usually only wear red
I would like to tag only @tambourineophelia @jentlemansreturn @sweetbibabe and am wishing I could tag Siavash. Instead I'll just think fondly of him and the Iranian revolutionaries and wish for their freedom and wellbeing ❤️

3 and 15 from the writer asks? c:
Hello!
Thank you for asking, let me try not to make this OVERLY long xD
3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
Ok, so: I started writing again in prose after years of stop. So for that, not to scare me off, I try to have as little rituals and keep myself as free as I can. Usually, it involves a comfy blanket, some very specific music that's not too distracting nor too bland. The soundtrack of Interstellar always puts me in writing mood, as well as Laura Marling's discography.
I generally associate songs to particular pieces or characters, and when it happens, I usually put that one song on repeat to keep me in the mood. Aisling comes out with "The Water" by Johnny Flynn and Laura Marling, for example. Raina is in "Anti-Hero" by Taylor Swift (trash raccoon doesn't want any sophisticated music). For my original comic Till Queendom Come it's Bloodywood or Bajirao Mastani's soundtrack (Except Darcy who's Helvegen, the duet between Wardruna and AURORA.)
For screenwriting and comics, which I've been more consistent with during the years, I need to be outside. In the house I'll SURELY get distracted, so I'll take my notebook and pens and make a little burrow for myself in a cafè with some snack and go on until waiters will kick me away.
15. Do you write in the margins of your books? Dog-ear your pages? Read in the bath? Why or why not? Do you judge people who do these things? Can we still be friends?
I've been terrorised by my maternal grandma about writing on books, actually. xD
I do write and underline books... But only handbooks or nonfiction books that are meant to be for universities! I take notes on separate notebooks by hand. Always in pencil, highliters are for "definitely a handbook".
I do doghear pages tho, even in novels, when there's a passage I really really REALLY like.
I read in the bath once when I was working part time and studying for a BIG exam, I needed to have a shower and to finish a novel that I had to study for an exam, which I was finding particularly difficult and hard to read ("The Human Stain" by Philip Roth. Great author, but his style is really VERY far from my personal taste. Can see his value, can't bring myself to like it). So I multitasked. I don't do it because I don't like taking baths much, I'm a quick shower girl. xD
I don't judge people who do, I don't particularly like finding second-hand books full of pen notes so much that the text is overwhelmed... But I usually leave them down and don't buy them, so there's really not a problem.

for the kpop ask game: le sserafim!!
ps, i sometimes see you in your posts’ tags saying you’re anxious about your writing, so i just wanted to let you know that i for one am a big huge fan of your writing, and i think you have such great vibrant portrayals of yeji & ryujin, and tbh your writing makes me want to write too, so thank you always for sharing your work and god-tier ryeji thoughts with us :’)
Not sure which category to put them in cause I'm familiar but also very barely hkasdh
I’ll listen to their top song on Spotify & tell you my thoughts - I'm going to assume that's antifragile? (In uganda we don't use spotify much so I can't tell if it's their top song adskhds I only have the acc for whenever I wanna support my faves and have enough internet)
Fun and catchy, it has aspects I REALLY like but there's also stuff I'm unfortunately not so into so I don't think I could listen to it on repeat but it's very much stuck in my head now sdakjh
I’ll look up photos & tell you who stands out to me - Yunjin I think??? Idk there's something about the vibes she's giving here especially that's knocking me tf out
Tumblr media
Idk her really so I might be very mistaken but like HER EYES? There's a way that she seems to use them to really enhance her expressions??
I’ll tell you if I’d look into them more - I might if they release something I'm REALLY into. Or if I'm in a situation where I have to write something with one of their members that's actually how I got into Stray Kids lmao. I usually try my best to check out as many gg releases as I can cause finding new music is always a positive so it'll probably happen eventually since the little I've seen of them is always a serve
This is already long but I'm so touched by your ps 😭
Thank you so much for all this. I never really considered myself on the level to inspire anyone and it's actually a dream of mine to write stuff that has an effect on people so I'm kinda emotional over this ashdjsdh
Thank you for reading my works. I'll be sure to keep sharing my thoughts and random brainrots and hopefully keep writing stuff that you guys enjoy 🖤
And if the interest has gripped you I really do hope you give writing a shot anon. It can be very tough and frustrating and sometimes it feels like downright torture but if you love it enough it's the most fulfilling thing to have an idea in your head and express it with words. Even though I'm anxious like 99% of the time cause perfectionismTM and self esteemTM I always enjoy myself the most when I'm writing. I really love writing so I'm going to try to stfu and not start waxing poetic rn but imo everyone should give it a try at least once. Whether it be poetry or prose of even just journaling. There's something really beautiful about writing that you can only experience when you're really in it and I hope you find it as well. If you ever write anything feel free to send it to me through anon or even dms if you feel comfy with that I'd love to read it

Thank you @caressthosecheekbones for tagging me!
What are you currently reading?
Trying to get through The Scarlet Letter, various Sherlock Holmes stories and my Illustrated Art History book. Also, an awful lot of fanfic.
Best movie I've seen in the cinema last year?
I did go like, twice, so... I think it was the movie about women politicians throughout history in Germany? The name escapes me at the moment.
What do you usually wear?
Whatever is comfy at the moment. In January? Jeans and a thick sweater.
Star Sign? Celebrity etc. you share your birthday with?
Gemini - Cupcakke is my birthday buddy ;)
Do you go by your name or nickname?
Mostly nickname(s) bc my first name is quite long. In professional settings I go by my (longer) name.
Did you grow up what you wanted to be as a child?
Back then, I (well, my mum bc at that point I couldn't write yet) put 'happy' in my Freundebuch. So it's an ongoing quest, really.
What's something you're good/bad at?
I am a good listener. I am not very good at handling unwelcome affection or new situations that are just. A Lot.
Dogs or Cats?
Kind of feel the same about both (not very strongly). But they can be cute!
If you draw/write, or create in any way, what's your fav picture/line/something you created this past year?
I took up pottering and made a vase! That was lovely, I quite miss it.
What's something you would like to create content for?
I'd like to write again some day. A fanfic, maybe - I haven't done that in years. And maybe a silly little story that is all mine. I would like to have some motivation to create again.
What's something you're currently obsessed with?
The song 'Bless the telephone'. To me, it feels like love.
Also, Jeeves and Wooster (fanfics). Lol. Great British Bake Off! Can't forget that.
What's a hidden talent of yours?
My singing is alright I guess? Oh, I can remember the lyrics to most songs I have listened to (a few times)! I do have an extensive lyrics knowledge if I do say so myself. Ahem.
Are you religious?
Complicated question. I suppose, yeah.
What's something you wish to have at this moment?
A working sleep schedule. A nice, long hug and the concentration and focus I need to make myself proud these next few weeks :)
Tagging @vosquitransitis @brandybradyrandyandyndy and @okitagumi (only if you want to of course!)
And if you're reading this - you're welcome to do it, too! The more, the merrier! :) <33

orchid, cactus, bamboo, abelia, daffodil, mahonia, chia, camellia, jasmine, ivy, chamomile, aloe vera, palm tree, taro for get-to-know-me asks?
orchid ⇢ what’s a song you consider to be perfect?
I. So I don't consider things by 'perfection' honestly but Fuck is CLASS::EXSPHERE_NOSURGE; a song that will forever kick my ass. Absolute favourite song of all time.
cactus ⇢ something you’re currently learning (about)?
Waves my little Chinese Mandarin language learning app 'Hello Chinese' that helps (but with how i remember to do stuff i keep forgetting to do things) me remember that I actually did take 2 years of Mandarin in school.
bamboo ⇢ do you change into a different outfit when you get home?
Yeah I generally change out of my scrubs and into pjs. Usually a tank top and shorts 👍 be comfy
abelia ⇢ do you have a particular piece of jewelry you always wear or can’t part with?
Nope. Actually I used to wear a ring all the time, and then I lost it. And I used to wear a necklace all the time but I kept putting it in my mouth and it wore off the cheap silver coating. (for reference these were both while i was in middle school). I can't stand wearing jewelry daily anymore, it gets in the way.
daffodil ⇢ do you have siblings? if yes, in what ways do you think you’re similar to or different from them?
Yep, two younger brothers. I don't get along well at all with the older one (nothing in common at all), but the youngest has a similar humor as me and we're pretty good friends..
mahonia ⇢ what place, thing, activity inspires you most and how do you express yourself when it does?
Ehhhhh. Mainly reading inspires me the most honestly. Sometimes a song will also give me the executive function to create too, but it depends on whether I have the time to draw or write at the time!
chia ⇢ what’s an inside joke you have with someone else?
Logan and I have an adage we quote all the time which is simply: Don't worry about it.
Character is showing a weird side in a show we're watching? Oh, don't worry about it.
I make a weird noise? Don't worry about it.
Didn't catch the last half of a lewd joke or simply just a sentence he's said? Don't worry about it.
Its used more maliciously (in jest) than anything but its the funniest fucking thing we've let become a running joke.
camellia ⇢ what were you like when you were younger? do you think you’ve changed a lot?
Ah. Well, I basically wasn't a human being until 2018 or so, so.... Trauma (and clinical depression and overwhelming anxiety) did a number on me. Its actually rather hard to remember my life unless I focus on really trying to remember things. I was a lot quieter tho, read books to escape reality, and had like. No friends. I tried to validate myself through internet 'friends' and made a lot of mistakes in the pursuit of being a human. I have changed a lot (and I better have, i've healed and matured quite a bit), but I do think I still hold some of my core. qualities i think.
jasmine ⇢ do you have a movie or book you loved but will never watch/read again?
I'm never reading The Series of Unfortunate Events again. You can't make me. I LOVE the books. I cannot read them again. I Own the books (in nice shiny hardcover with the original printing, too), they are never going to be anything more than used space on my shelf.
ivy ⇢ what are your ‘tells’ for your emotions and moods? how can someone tell you’re happy, annoyed, upset or tired?
Uhhh my state of attentiveness I think. Logan says I enter 'screensaver mode' when tired but I'm not sure what actually changes. They can usually pinpoint it straight away tho fhdjs
Like if I'm more attentive and listening and engaging with you (ofc this is more for real life/voice call) im usually in a better state, I tend to tune things out when i get upset or tired or annoyed. Idk.
chamomile ⇢ what kind of things do you like receiving as gifts?
I have suuuuuch a soft spot for plushies. Its insane how soft I am over even just. a little guy. I don't even collect plushies but they always end up being my favorite present somehow. My coworker gave me a really soft Pusheen last year for my birthday(? or xmas) and god that thing lives at the end of my bed now but i was holding on to it daily for Months.
aloe vera ⇢ what’s something (mundane) you really want to experience in life?
Living in a house and not having anything in it that would deter me from. wanting to go home? This is a genuine first thought don't look into it too much..
palm tree ⇢ do you have a fictional villain you shouldn’t like but love regardless?
am i allowed to like the little shit that is Asahi from ffxiv (the answer is no. I love him tho (and Fandaniel))
taro ⇢ if someone called you right now to catch up, what’re the things you’d tell them about?
(if they're close enough) I'd probably talk a bit about my recent art for Era and Lorne? I don't have a life that's bery interesting unless you are willing to let me babble about my recent hyperfixations...
