unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary for you to go out to do your work or school, then participate in the strike. i get it, life happens. sometimes you can't skip stuff. hell, even i can't skip everything tomorrow, but that doesn't mean you can't do your part. do what is absolutely necessary for you and your life, and then join the strike for us. join a protest, don't go out to eat, post more awareness on social media, do whatever you can. if you can't do one thing then find something else to do. there are countless ways you can help. do not feel guilty that you have to take care of your life, but try to give as much of your time and dedication to supporting the palestinian cause. good night and free palestine 🇵🇸🇵🇸

man, it's a little disheartening to see how much the idea of 'content creation' and creation for the sake of the algorithm and a more desperate push for visibility in an increasingly hostile environment is perpetuating bad practices within the art community.
young artists, inexperienced artists, I have a plea for you. it's completely fine and okay to trace art you like as part of your growth and exploration! It's fine! It's normal! We've all done it! it's immensely helpful to see through the eyes of another artist and understand what makes their art appealing to you. it helps build confidence. it's fun to see results that you like and can inspire you to draw more. it's a great tool when used in conjunction with normal practice and should never be discouraged as such. (and I'm not talking about tracing reference material made for the purpose of being heavily referenced here, I'm mostly talking about other peoples' published works.)
what's not fine is to publish that exploration under the guise of it being your own art. at least ask permission. at least give credit. if something has inspired you enough to want to replicate that work fully, at least lend that person some basic respect.

wait.
I just watched one of your videos with sound on for the first time and heard your accent and now I'm wondering if your username is a phonetic way to spell how australians say "blooming heck" ??
OK, this one tickled me. Did anyone else get Aussie vibes from my accent? Do I need to cut down on watching Bluey? Or should I lean into it?
(I'm actually from Northern England. We don't have a lot of space in the UK, but a lot of our towns are very old, so we cram a lot of different accents into a small area, and mine's a bit of a mix. But Australia is faaaaaaar)
Either way, that is where my username comes from! Great spot!

I will never fucking be over Speck. We all watched the girl we spent 1.6 million words with, that we saw grow and fight and bleed and never give up, slowly and noticeably degrade and become a paranoid hollow shell of her former self. She slowly lost her ability to speak, read, write, comprehend words, or read body language, and everything she lost made her break down more with the realization. So many themes reached their peak, from Taylor's desire to throw herself away and burn up for a good cause, to her willingness to commit truly horrifying acts for the greater good, to her desire for everyone to just fucking band together and put aside their differences against a common foe. There's so many amazing moments like Lisa verbally eviscerating her, to the breakdown when she thinks she killed Dragon, to her handing Dinah the "I'm sorry" note before taking control of her. And I haven't even gotten into the ever increasing connection between her and her passenger and how damn well that was done, or the way her thoughts become shaky and unhinged, or the conversation at the end with Contessa, or the way Rachel steps into her radius because she trusts her, or Aisha singing the entire time and comforting Taylor as she unravels. I swear to god I barely covered half of what I love about Speck in this post, it has so much and it's the perfect ending to the such an interesting character and story. It's genuinely my favorite piece of writing ever, I have not once managed to read it without crying. She tries so fucking hard and in her infinite determination and disregard for herself she kills god. God it's so good.

I love that the whole fandom's collective reaction to Quinn's new voice can be summed up as "Oh god he's BRITISH"

the people that don’t understand what blue meant when she said she was in love with all of her friends have clearly never experienced the sheer intensity of finding your platonic soulmates and realizing you would quite literally do anything for them

Who taught these pilots basic gunnery. Why wouldn't you try to aim for the center of mass, especially when both you and your target are on the move.
