Spoilers for Wolverine #43

God why do I keep looking at the spoilers for this when I know it'll just be Laura and Akihiko getting smoked for a trillion issues.

We know Laura gets a Sabertooth kill eventually through solicits, but having the next issue having her get jobbed (in a fashion that is so brutal and accidentally metaphorical it feels intentional in its jobbing) anyway feels so fucking bad.

I genuinely do not care if Logan is more popular or whatever, this whole event just feels pointlessly mean spirited. And it's TEN ISSUES of this. I feel like stories need to be more interesting than the kinda shit we were doing in the 90's.

Please just Laura be cool and in a better story. Please let this next era not just be the Logan-fest. I would care less if they weren't making this story relevant for A. The overall plot of FoX and B. Didn't keep dangling the carrot of characters that are more interesting than Logan in front of me.
