Disassociation culture is getting really angry at teenagers who fake DID and actually dissociating and flipping out on them, but being treated like you're the bad guy because even though you've been professionally diagnosed with disociations and CPTSD for 14 years, you're not welcome in your own community, because it's full of 13 year olds who roll their eyes dramatically and then badly cosplay as Eric Cartman or Naruto.

#sorry for rambling in tags I can get rid of them if you want #I get this and that’s valid #we’re looking towards some sort of diagnosis or something rn but our mom isn’t really letting us get there #like you’re totally fine and cool for feeling this way #but a very good chunk of those kids are looking for places to fit #and it really really sucks that disorders like this is what they’ve chosen #not too long ago it was my friends and I who were all ‘’quirky anxiety and depression lolol so cute’’ #and trust us. we regret it. #even if a good portion of us were actually dealing with that making out to be ~quirky- and ~cute~ wasn’t the move #I really do think that people should understand and be ok with the fact that? these teens should have their own separate spaces #from people with did/osdd and such #like it’s ok to make new communities guys!! even if you’re borrowing greatly from others!! that’s why there’s separate queer spaces?? #(not the same ik but only comparison I could think of) #disassociation culture is #dissociation culture is #disassociation #dissociation
