wriothesley who starts upgrading his gear and switching tactics more often just to get you to captured in one place for more than 5 minutes. he enhances his gauntlets, crafts new cuffs that are unbearable to take off, and keeps even wider eyes open. yet he returns to the fortress with similar luck as before, only this time, with a shattered newly made handcuff of his attached to one wrist.

wriothesley would start keeping tape on his desk for this reason; to keep you mouth shut every time you sneak into the prison. he grips you by the shoulders, staring intently into your eyes as he scolds you for working your way into the prison and hissing at you to get out. he wants to catch you, don’t get him wrong, but he wants it on his own accord. you turning yourself in accidentally takes away all that pride.

wriothesley who does enjoy the chase, the meet ups under the moonlight, the times where you pull him out of the fortress and into the nature of fontaine. others at the prison would never comment on it, but despite the scowl after a failed attempt at containing you, he always seems a bit lighter.

Slightest possible Zelda TotK Spoilers but while a lot of people have rightfully praised the absolute horrifying redesign of the Gibdo enemies in the game, I personally have always hated Like Likes since OoT even more so than either Gibdos or even ReDeads so their redesign has managed to put me off of them even more. The person who thought to add in elements to essentially turn Like Likes into giant-sized parasitic worms needs a raise & needs to be incarcerated. That’s not even to mention that in terms of the base level enemies, they also are among the most tedious to fight ie they require more steps than just standard melee attacking.

I complain but honestly as a completely amateur game designer, I feel that all good games need at least one genuinely creepy enemy that can actually scare a player and funnily enough, toss Like Likes in with Gibdos & the game’s replacement for Floormasters, Zelda TotK manages to have three 😭
