Anakin kinda gets his way and obiwan remodels his bar into a coffee and wine bar it’s sophisticated and a nice place to both work drink and hang out they have karaoke Friday nights and the weekends they host local bands

oh this is so much more pleasant than what i was thinking lol i was thinking obi-wan's compromise is that he buys an espresso machine (a lot of money) and starts selling espresso martinis + irish coffee at happy hour prices because they're ridiculous and anakin refuses to tell him why he wants this so bad and obi-wan is an asshole too who has fun riling anakin up by telling him he has a coffee surprise for him only for it to be like. rumchata or something.

finally when anakin does break and tell obi-wan about the guy and the 54% and the paranoia, that's when obi-wan breaks and goes and gets his wedding ring tattooed around his finger. only he accidentally leaves the actual ring out on the counter so anakin flips because he's thinking the worst only to run to obi-wan's bar and see him with the clear tattoo tape around the tattoo.

and of course because this obi-wan is more of an asshole than normal is like, 'alright? is this okay? can i keep my bar now??'

(they leave the shift early that night. aayla sort of expected they would when obi-wan told her about the tattoo appointment and scheduled accordingly.)

we looked at the master schedule for next year, which is something we’ve done for years so we know what our schedule will look like, etc., but apparently next year they’re making a bunch of changes and people are Pissed bc how do you take someone out of the grade level they’ve taught for 20 years if they don’t want to move from that grade level and the data supports them staying put lol
