I love Candace Flynn so much. I love how a female character is allowed to be zany and wacky and the butt of the joke. I love how she’s obsessed with Jeremy in that teenage crush kind of way but doesn’t truly go beyond the boundaries into what’s legitimately creepy or stalkerish. I love that a teenage girl is allowed to act like a teenage girl and have teenage girl interests and she’s not treated dumb or bad for it.

- They thought this was some weird euphemism at first that Kid was going to kill or completely thrash her, but when they all watched their captain keep staring at Hoku (glaring), in a way sort of following her around, yelling and arguing but still doing what she said on the island, they put two and two together.

- Killer was the voice of reason and said they should all try to be welcoming, Hoku would probably make a great addition.

- “I think Kid likes her quite a bit,” Killer said. “We’ll make her feel welcome.”

The entire crew watched as Kid threatened to use his devil fruit to send Hoku flying. She ignored him, drawing on another wall. Kid stepped closer, speaking even louder.
