sure he's tired, possibly close to having another breakdown just thinking about being pestered by fellow students for answers to homeworks and other menial stuff, but he still manages to say yes and give her another perfectly practiced smile

when he goes over to the house next to theirs - the ones you moved in to, you had no lasting impression on him

now, don't be mistaken, he does think you're good looking but at the end of the day he'd much rather curl up in bed and sleep

so he puts up that perfectly crafted persona and invites you to head to school with him. a new environment is much easier to deal with when you're not dealing with it by yourself! (or something like that)

he tries not to be overbearing, trying to get you to open up while also making sure he's respecting your boundaries and comfort as you made your way inside the school gates

you don't share the same classes, so he asks you for your time table so he knows your schedule

he hopes he's not being creepy or anything, he's just making sure your first day transferring here goes well

sure he's known for being a caring person in general but he does feel like it's his responsibility to make sure you're doing well you know? you're neighbors now, you guys should get along!

it's smooth sailing until it's time you guys finally went home

like that morning, he waits for you and invites you to walk home with him to familiarize with the shortcuts and local lounging spots for students

all the while he tries to get you to talk about your experience today

it must be due to the amount of stress piled up on his plate that lead him to feel... nervous.

do you think marius has ever fainted or passed out from the sheer workload and stress he deals with on a daily basis? they always talk about how he has this fatigue and tiredness but honestly im surprised he’s never had a breakdown or anything

OH ABSOLUTELY YES YESSSS

i very much think hes passed out due to sheer fatigue probably many times, but that he just....got really good at making sure nobody notices. like, the moment marius feels his balance failing or feels the telltale lightheadedness of unconsciousness ready to ram into him, he tried to either find an empty room or some place to sit down and ride it out. and then when hes conscious again, if anybody saw him he just goes like "just needed to rest my eyes, hehe"

people who arent close to him cant tell hes lying. hes a fantastic actor, and it is very important for marius to appear invincible and invulnerable within pax, so he makes sure of this. hes passed out plenty, but nobody notices

the few people who do notice and know are probably:

1 ) vincent

oh the things vincent has seen....this one is definitely the most worrying one, and whenever he catches it happening he does his best to try and shift schedules to somehow lighten marius' workload. i figure maybe one time he garnered up the courage to suggest marius rest, but...it's not that marius is disrespectful or anything, but the suggestion just slides straight past him

"i appreciate the concern, vincent, but it's really no problem," marius says easily. just a few minutes ago, he'd fainted the moment he got into his office and it sent such a shock of adrenaline into vincent's system. "after all, nobody else can do this work right now, so i just...gotta keep going."

and the worst part was that marius was right. not about this being a non-issue, but that nobody else can be pax ceo right now. it all falls to marius, and vincent can try his best to help, but moments like these remind him how isolated marius really is all the way there at the top.

2 ) the nxx team

the team see marius at a special level of fatigue: where he always pushes it past it for the newest case, to investigate the latest lead, to keep on going. given how perceptive the team is and how theyve worked with marius for a While, marius can never hide it from them

but it's also really hard to bring it up sometimes, because theres usually always something more important, high-stakes, and pressing at hand when theyre all together

"don't worry about me," marius would say. he might even make a joke like "you should go check on vyn, i know he gets cranky when he's up past 10pm"

deflection is one of marius' skills, so oftentimes during cases, none of the team can really confront him on his overwork

but while marius might like to pretend that this isnt a problem, none of the others have to do the same and can show their support in little ways: a very soft blanket from artem placed on the nxx hq couch for anyone to use for a nap, relaxing sleepytime teas from vyn stocked in the pantry for anyone to have a drink of, a suddenly and inexplicably overhauled digital file system luke made to make some of the tinier clerical nxx tasks a bit faster to sift through.

and mc's learned some of marius' tricks now by this point and is totally fine using them against him. she'll sit down next to him on the couch with a yawn and lean on marius' shoulder. "be my pillow for 10 minutes, i need a nap" and whats marius gonna do, say NO to that? he would never. and he'd end up drifting off for a little nap too.

• The dca bois in their recovery after the virus incident in sb :(

• Like, imagine a fic where you have to help them get better/back to normal after all that trauma

• Sun is still super paranoid and has a breakdown or panic attack at even the insinuation of the lights going out

• You have to slowly get him used to it and try to chill him out

• He feels really bad for not trusting Moon, since he missed him so much after all. But he just cant help it, and ends up overworking himself and trying to stay in control as long as possible and give as little chances as he can for Moon to come out.

• So then he has warring fear and guilt eating away at him

• On the other side of this, Moon is doing a hell of alot of reflecting

• He feels absolutely awful about what has happened, despite how much others try to tell him it isnt his fault and that hes also a victim in the situation

• He becomes incredibly distant and lost in his own wallowing, avoiding literally everyone and isolating himself out of fear of hurting someone

• Just imagine a super soft scene where after a month of trying to get Moon to just properly talk to them, YN ends up catching him sat alone in the dark with only the faint glow in the dark elements in the daycare illuminating him on the balcony. Hes literally just sat there, just staring sadly at the fake stars along the ceiling.

• YN approaches him carefully and he doesnt even notice

• They sit on the edge of the ballpit, looking up at him in silence

• He finally notices them and startles

• Random note - (Metaphor in the song of how every day with sun feels different, due to both his erratic behaviour and him actually slowly improving over time, but every night is always the same with moon refusing to open up to you)

• He just waits and stares at them suspiciously

• (This isnt their usual shift. They werent supposed to be in today and theyre a later than usual too.)

• (They asked if they could go in, because they felt like they just couldnt give up on Moon and made a spur of the moment impulsive decision before going to bed that they would go and see if catching him later would help at all or make a difference. They were desperate for just anything at all to work)

• They didnt really plan this, so not only do they not know what to do or say, but their lack of sleep means theyre tired af

• After a few moments of just silent staring, they start to droop a bit, and yawn, laying their head on their knees, just waiting for any reaction at all from him.

• Theres just complete stillness between the two, and YNs body seems to give into Moon’s stubbornness, dozing slightly and causing them to fall asleep

• Moon softens slightly, programming kicking in at seeing them so tired

• He hesitates, waiting a little longer, then goes down to them

• He cautiously approaches them, then reaches down to pet their head

• They shift slightly and he smiles

• His fear of accidentally hurting someone, or suddenly becoming a monster still holds him in its grip, making him rather scared when gently lifting them into his arms

• He goes back up to the balcony, heading for his room

• He jumps slightly as they suddenly grasp onto him

• "I promise things can get better, Moon... it will soon"   "i trust you."

• Moon is shocked and emotional from their sleepily-murmured words, suddenly having the realization that- yes. He does want that to happen. He does miss being with the childern. He misses being with Sunny. He misses being happy.

• He settles down into a pile of pillows and holds YN close, protective, as they sleep.

• Moon then agrees to working with YN and they slowly start his road to recovery

• Just YN helping a very nervous Moon to get his confidence back :)

• Meanwhile though, as this progresses, whilst Sun has pretty much eradicated his issue, he gains a new one. Dealing with the daycare kids all without Moon again is really taking its toll on him again, and not only does he desperately need the help, but he also really misses Moon

• Having him so close but just out of reach was destroying him over time. He knew he needed to be patient. Every time he asked you when he could properly talk to his Moonie again, thats what you always said. That moon needed more time to get better. And he understood that, but that didnt make it any less hard

• Eventually, theyre reunited

This is kinda all over the place bc I don't have a coherent idea but I just need to write it all down before I forget

How Jia was bit was on a hot ass day and she basically fell asleep on a spider and gained powers unknowingly

Doesn't find out for maybe a week

Has a weird dream one night where she basically meets a deity in her dream and the exchange was literally like

"You, Jialin Chen, now bear the powers to protect this la-"

"Uhm yea no thanks, pass 😬"

"WHAT?"

And then a comedic exchange occurs between mortal and god haha! Until the deity was like ENOUGH this is your DESTINY you will bear it whether you like it or NOT 👹 so Jia's kinda like alright fine damn 🙄 but obviously we all know how she really feels abt the whole situation (she hates it bc of issues) but anyways

The reason why it took a whole week is cause uhmmm plot hole lelel or smth the deity can't actually interfere directly with the world

EITHER WAY this is basically spoilers for endgame but it's not like I'll ever make a coherent plot bc I'm too lazy and dum but basically

The deity of Jia's universe is border on obsessive with creating a story line and destiny and heroes and stuff like that and ofc it has to be perfect (bc ofc it has to be, totally not cliche or anything)

Anyways this obsession makes them interfere TOO much with Jia's universe because if the deity was never this obsessed

Jia probably would've gotten over her issues (bc she's meets someone to help her copeeee 😋😋 cougjocughcgpuccough)

But bc the deity is an unreasonable shithead, they're literally the root of every problem:

They're responsible for Jia's split soul because of how abrupt her duties were suddenly forced on her

Bc of the split soul problem, it nearly upsets the world balance that could've been very bad for the universe! (the day she had lost the plot and had a existential crisis breakdown I think I posted it here but basically on that day she was flickering between both before Lin took control)

-> the logic is rlly,,, idk nonsensical for this bc what I thought as world making is that you can't have two souls in control at once and it goes again natural laws so it nearly ficked up her world cause it AINT SUPOSE TO HAPPEN ITS NEVA SUPOSE TO HAPPENNN but moving on

So then Lin switches in place of Jia and the world balance is briefly restored YAYY 🎉 everything is fine‼️

Cause now Lin went and 'broke up' (idk it wasn't rlly a break up bc she never said 'lets break up' but she kinda did go 'we aren't meant for each other 🖕' and dipped) with hb so NOW HES GOING THRU IT and the rest of her friends back at spider society are like ???? What the??? Fuck???

Lin does manage to spend a few days or more at the hq cause technically she is still Jia but just

But everyone's kinda weirded out cause she's Serious™ now and even Miguel's kinda like wattafack 🧍 plus the fact she has long white hair that spawned out of nowhere so they kinda piece some form of logic together that she's a different Jia

Anyways some time passes and one day an especially big anomaly is warned abt in Jia's (still Lin) universe which is bizarre cause they're not usually this big but it's all because of that STOOPID FUKASS deity GOING AROUND FUKIN THINGS UP and somehow created this ridiculously bad threat as a 'enemy' for the 'hero of their story' to defeat

The biggest problem with the anomaly is that while it doesn't really like, belong in Jia's universe, it doesn't belong in any OTHER universe either BECAUSE THAT DEITY BOUGHT IT UP OUTTA NOWHERE BC THEYRE PSYCHO I need to stop hating on characters that I literally made anyways

So HQ can't exactly deal with it like they usually do but they can try to offer assistance at least

Obviously for obvious (cliche) reasons CERTAIN PEOPLE are gonna be there cause yknow they still care abt Jia even tho she's changed (to Lin momentarily)

Battle occurs blah blah I'm not good with action scenes and things are looking a littttlee bleak for Lin and Co and all the sudden Lin receives a bad injury that nearly knocks her unconscious but thru her ringing ears and muted background noise she hears SOMEBODDYYY CALLING HER NAAMMEEE (god I really wonder who)

Because her state of unclarity from the Blunt Force Head Trauma makes things a little weird, the fine line between Jia and Lin also becomes a little muddled and the Jia that's been hiding behind Lin can hear his voice and it quite literally brings her out of that dark room in her mind to control again so TLDR Jia is back again instead of Lin

Reunion happens for maybe 3 minutes tops before shit hits the fan again and suddenly the deity has teared through time space fabric out of anger to speak directly to them mortal little earthlings on the ground because they're a little bitch

they first get in contact because rue comments a death threat under one of his posts and he's instantly captivated by her rancid vibes (sends a very formal dm to her too about it) karlach, gortash's pr manager, has a breakdown over him using his public account for such things (shes overworked and is looking for a new job. please someone hire her)

as for the actual fic im writing for this, chapter 1 is titled "death threats mean nothing when you're a politician (it's part of the job)" and chapter 2 is "flirting with your interviewer won't guarentee you a job (unless you're being interviewed by enver gortash)" its such a silly idea. i tried to think too hard about it but decided its more suited to just being almost a crack fic. i need them to be stupid together. i need rue to accidentally livestream them sleeping together. i need orin to spam gortash's inbox the moment she finds out that he and rue are together, sending threats to his life

young royals s3 thoughts (SPOILERS!!!!)

- first and foremost i think they tried to fit waaaayy too many things into this season. it feels like they wrote two seasons worth of content and instead of trying to cut plotlines that were unimportant to the overall narrative, they just said fuck it lets do them all. and it...did not work

- LOVE the idea of wille's speech having repercussions outside of wilmon and the royal family, and i love that the hazing was addressed, but again the whole reveal about erik and august felt like it was just thrown in to have sympathy for august and to lead to wille's breakdown at the bday dinner (which like...he had more than enough reason to do already). i do like the idea of erik actually being fucked up behind the scenes, but i wish they would have hinted at it in season 2 or something instead of just dropping it out of nowhere. idk

- WHY DOES IT FEEL LIKE THEY FORGOT ABOUT WILLE HAVING ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS UNTIL THE LAST COUPLE EPISODES???? his anxious habits and the physical toll that stress takes on him were pretty consistently shown in the first two seasons and then suddenly not a thing until the halfway point???????? like idk something about that really bothered me. my one big hope for this season was that wille would get to address his panic attacks but it seems like theyre just not gonna acknowledge it, which i guess is true to real life anxiety it's just something you live with, but it was teased to be such a crucial thing about wille that im a little disappointed its not getting explored

- wilmon cannot communicate to save their lives and i feel like neither of them are ready to be in a relationship. they have a good dynamic and you can tell they care about each other, but they never look at issues from a dual perspective, only as an individual. and then when they call each other out they just get defensive. i think they only want the lovey dovey fun part of a relationship, and they cant accept the fact that things WILL go wrong and they have to work through it TOGETHER

- ive seen a lot of people say that wille got really mean out of nowhere this season and i kind of disagree?? yes, his aggression is def at the forefront of almost all his scenes, but we've seen in the past two seasons that he doesnt know how to deal with stress and takes frustration out on other people. it's just that now he's constantly stressed and therefore on a hair trigger. is it right of him?? no. but does it make sense?? yeah, for me at least

- i HATE that wille's anxiety is constantly pushed aside because it "isnt princely" but the MINUTE that kristina has mental health issues she gets to step back from her duties and see a therapist, get meds, etc... now to clarify, i hate it because wille deserves better and its so hypocritical. i LOVE that it was included in the story because you really get to see plain as day just how much wille's family does not give a shit about him. he was so worried about his mom because he knows what it feels like and wants to be there for her when she never was for him, but she cant even make eye contact with him. and his dad is no better. that scene where wille calls to ask about erik and his dad just goes "yeah i cant think of any of erik's flaws he was perfect" EVEN IF YOU THINK THAT YOU DONT SAY IT TO YOUR OTHER KID???? who, to wille's point, is CURRENTLY YOUR ONLY SON.

- simon dealt with a lot of shit this season, and he was right to be scared of wille during his blowup at the royals, but CALL ME CRAZY i think he couldve waited until like, idk, the NEXT DAY?? to breakup with him???? yes, wille has been an ass to simon this season and taking family drama out on him, thats not cool, but striking while the iron is hot is an AWFUL idea. bring it up while wille is in a more rational headspace and not as riled-up. like simon my bby i was with you til then

Tang and Dys are so similar in so many ways. Obviously they're twins, so they look similar especially as teenagers (I also think it's really cool that they have acne because media often likes to ignore that teenagers get acne and pimples and stuff) but theres other stuff too

Like their cards both have conditiond to them: Tang's raises in value if it has the highest value and dys' gets higher value if it's in first or last place. I think thats a really neat way to connect them gameplay wise.

Theyre both really curious, too. With Tang it's science and research and with Dys its exploring, learning about animals and aliens.

Also it's kinda poetic that they both want to become AIs of sorts. Because tang wants to be free from the limitations of her body and dys wants to be free from being human. He wants to become a gardener.

And both of them, if they're your secret admirer, don't want to make a big deal about it and will push you away if you try to smooch them. They both want to take things slower.

Their relationship is so heartbreaking too. They used to be really close, dys was the first to know that Tang is trans, and they used to really understand each other but their mother's suicide fucked both of them up and suddenly they didn't have much in common in terms of hobbies. Because Dys doesn't care all that much for science but Tang hyperfocuses on it. So they grow apart. I've got a sibling that I'm really close with but that I used to despise. So this hits me in the feels real hard.

The best ending for them ive gotten is like a negotiated peace ending where it says that they rekindle their relationship and Tang is happy for Dys when he leaves to become a gardener.

That contrasted with the ending where Dys becomes a gardener earlier and just disappears when he's like 18 and Tang never sees him again for the rest of her life and has a mental breakdown trying to find him i'm...

HELP I can't see my therapist for a couple of weeks and am currently having something i like to dub "yet another hiro autism crisis" where i contemplate if my therapist gave me the right diagnoses (she has told me she is not certified to give autism diagnoses, and instead more things like depression) Right now, I am diagnosed with ADHD, Anxiety/ Social anxiety (its still up in the air, DPDR, and depression. idk if that matters SO NOW I LIST RANDOM THINGS that could be considered symptoms or not I DUNNO HOW TO DO THISS feel free to ask questions about some of the crap i say here half of it doesn't make sense

First off, I have a general trouble understanding most social situations, and struggle sometimes when talking about practically anything. For example, earlier today my step-mom basically said she wasnt going to finish her food and let my brother have it. my brother said he would leave 2, he didnt (BOZO) and later after he left she found the empty container and said something along the lines "HAH! I thought he said he was gonna leave me 2!" and immdeiately without thinking i went "hey! you said he could have as many as he can! and hes working 10 hours a day and needs his energy!!" half jokingly and she got mad at me for it, we got into a mini argument over that.

When saying something thats serious, i tend to make a joke around it and i have NO CLUE why. I just CANT be openly upset around people. For example, when being told about something that happened to me as a kid that NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED RAGRHAGHAG, instead of having a breakdown and being reasonably upset, i burst out into giggles and laughs while my brother was just so fucking confused on what was wrong. It was kinda like i couldn't stop and it fucking sucked

The TINIEST things can upset me, and other HUGE things can have little to no effect. Its so incredibly annoying

I have INTENSE fluxuations in interests, hobbies, and motivation for certain projects. I will start on this huge project that im INCREDIBLY excited for, and then a week later have little to no interest in continuing it.

I make everything about my personality a joke, i dont know why. EVERYTHING i tend to say or do has to be funny. it's like i dont want people to see beneath that

I fluctuate in personality A TON, especially depending by the people i am around. At school, I'm the quiet kid. I don't talk to anyone except maybe 5 people, but other than that i tend to stay completely silent. It could be a mask? i dunno. but when im at home, ask my brothers, i am BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS. it might also be me just getting some of my energy out? RRAHHH I DUNNOOO

I will simply forget to do very important things to the point of endangering my health. Like forgetting to eat for a day straight. my step-mom thinks i have an ED AND I DONT. i literally just keep realizing suddenly at like 6 pm all i have eaten is a couple of skittles and pringles.

i have no clue how talking to people works and im constantly winging it. I forget how to have friends especially how to even talk or interact with them and its so stupid. I can't ever start a conversation with someone without having at least 5 minutes going "am i weird for this am i being annoying am i being clingy".

If i say even one thing wrong i WILL be thinking about it for DAYS thinking about how they probably hate me now and im a terrible person ect. ect.

I tend to hide many of my traits (especially good ones) because i am incredibly embarrassed and never want anyone to EVER compare themselves to me.

i tend to get extremely upset if i get told one bad thing about something that i like or just a project i have. For example, I had this fandom silly man poll because i just wanted to find out who was silly. Then one of my friends just posted something like "i hate fandom polls theyre the worst" and i just lost complete motivation afterwards. I haven't touched that blog in WEEKS at this point becuase i simply have no more interst

I have had a meltdown or 2 before, and they both stemmed from being told about how i was a bad person. i don't know why the hell thats a thing

I can't stay focused on one thing for long periods of time (ADHD cough cough) Like literally earlier i was watching this video about autistic traits and i kept having to back the video up because i would get sidetracked in my mind to the point where im just not listening anymore

if im not paying attention to people sometimes I SWEAR theyre saying "ffajaleifnanamzmaldafjkjeffnma" and as soon as i start noticing it suddenly theres words again. hate that.

i have times where it can kinda seem like i cant speak, and if i do everything comes out wrong and jumbled. Like when my autistic friend would have a sensory related meltdown, i would never know what to do and end up going dead silent because of being so mad at myself for not knowing how to help (any tips actually hahahahaHOW DO I HELP)

i have little idea who the hell i am. had a mini-crisis because i didn't know what my favorite color was because before, it was the color my friend with synesthesia said i was and i just went with that (i think its purple or blue i have no fucking clue JFALJK)

i will have spikes of random motivation on one thing. like learning lanugauges, i will have a week where its so easy to get like 10 lessons on duolingo done a day and then the next week its a struggle to get even one done.

i focus better with distractions ??? I can't focus without music and tend to do better on reading tests if everyone else in the class is talking ???

i remember the most random things about certain things. Like, i could not for the LIFE of me remember what color that one persons hair that i was talking to for 15 minutes straight. but i can remember that they had pink socks on. WHY IS THAT WHAT I REMEMBER??

I hate organization and doing the same thing every day. i NEED chaos. My brother a little bit ago helped me out and got me to make a personal to-do list. i couldnt do it a single day even though the things were extremely simple like "brush hair, make bed, eat breakfast ect."

i zone out a LOT. especially when people bring up topics im uncomfortable with or conflict with my current feelings. i go into a kinda little talking (not nonverbal, i can still talk) or just confused state that freaking sucks.

when im in a high energy mood i tend to not feel.. reall???? I do many things overboard and annoy the heck out of my brothers. i always feel terrible afterwards.

Idk if this is weird to say but i tend to get really off put when people im comfy with get haircuts or major changes in their appearance. I never like the change no matter what the hair cut looks like. i dont have any clue why

in the god complex where the doctor amy and rory all get startled by people showing up and everyone is talking at once and the doctor goes IVE NEVER BEEN THREATENED WITH A TABLE LEG BEFORE! NO WAIT I TELL A LIE…. while rory is going ITS OKAY, WE’RE NICE! and amy looks at him like hes insane. i find it very funny

when ten sacrifices himself to save wilf but first he has to have a little mental breakdown about it because he knows what the right thing to do is but he’s also kind of fucked in the head and feels like he deserves to live. and then as hes very slowly dying of radiation poisoning we get that kinda cheesy montage that goes on WAY too fucking long of him doing little secret things to help out all the companions he’s had since the start of the revival series and it’s so self indulgent and wrung out and it kinda slaps

theres so many others and probably a lot of scenes i like way more than these but these r the first ones that came to mind so i will restrain myself

basically i hope for a future where doctor who writers actually take to heart the whole “Moving Forward and Embracing Change” part of the show. if you bring back stuff that hasn’t appeared since classic who be sure you’re DOING something with it that means anything and not just going “Look! This species still… exists!”. write good stories instead of having recognizable villains show up because they’re recognizable. and FORGET ABOUT THE TENTH DOCTOR ERA ALREADY. DAVID TENNANT WAS GOOD. HIS DOCTOR WAS GOOD. MOST OF THE SHOW FROM THEN IS GOOD. AND ITS OVER. ITS BEEN OVER FOR TEN YEARS. STOP MILKING THE TENTH DOCTOR AND PUTTING ALL THE FOCUS ON HIM. PLEASE. PL

hey so i have the rest of this and i was explaining it here but then tumblr got rid of all of it😭 so im explaining it again but less detail this

anyways, so basically one day when juniper is on her way home, the police call her and tell her to come to the station cause they need to talk to her.

the detectives tell her why her & nick are suspects and she doesn’t believe a piece of evidence (havent decided yet) that leads exactly to nick and they eventually let her go and she goes home and goes through nicks study (bad idea ik) and realizes the detectives are right so she drives back to the station but the detectives she was talking to are gone bc they went to investigate a new murder (that nick comitted).

juniper debates between staying and waiting or going home but eventually decides to go home bc nick is going to get home soon.

when she gets home she sees nicks car in the driveway and has a mini mental breakdown bc she remembers that she left almost everything in his office out and forgot to lock it (i swear this girl isnt an idiot shes just in shock)

she goes inside and everything seems normal, like creepily normal. nick is cooking dinner while listening to music from the record player and the tv is running quietly in the background and juniper’s freaked out but also comforted by it. she acts like everything is okay and he for the most part believes it, thinking she just had an off day (he only suspects sum bc hes her literal husband but she’s actually good at acting like shes fine bc im sick of characters shittily pretending theyre fine when you can clearly see they arent but she is actually believable)

she goes to the bathroom and on her way she sees nicks study door is closed and locked (neither of which she did when she left). she’s creeped out but ignores it as she eats dinner with nick and once she finishes she gets a massive migrane, so she goes to the kitchen to grab water but it suddenly gets harder to move. nick comes over and asks whats wrong acting like he wasnt the one who drugged her.

she faints blah blah blah. then she wakes up in their bedroom and nicks there and she yells at him and tries to leave but this idiot is trapping her inside (love that/j) so she runs into the bathroom to get away from him and hes trying to defend himself (bro ur literally a murderer give up) but its not working bc juniper isnt an idiot

one thing i forgot to mention is that juniper is on medication to help with her mental health and one of the ones she takes is anti-psychotics bc she has bipolar (bc of trauma) and she used to take them at night but she doesnt anymore bc they gave her nightmares so she stopped taking them and instead took melatonin that looked exactly like the anti-psychotics and nick was putting anti-psychotics in her pill thing for certain nights bc thats when he would go murder (how fun!) but he didnt want her to suspect anything so we switched her meds to induce a nightmare so juniper would wake up and he would comfort her and he would do it pretty often so that she would think he was always home at night (when he rlly wasnt)

but one night she wakes up bc she accidentally took the wrong days pills and sees nick leaving, she thinks hes just going to the store bc it isnt that late and they do like to go to the store at midnight lmao. she asks him the next morning she asks him and he confirms he was at the store.

this is so long im so so so so sorry but theres only a little more

so nick basically kidnaps her to home (is that still kidnapping bc she doesnt wanna be there??) but she ends up figuring out a way to get out and she thinks nick doesnt have a clue but of course he does bc nick is smart (they both are oxford graduates so obvs theyre smart) and murders juniper the day before she was supposed to escape. but he doesnt brutally murder her, he cars abt juniper too much and just like either drugs her so she ODs or he suffocates her (i can’t decide lmao) but it was an idiotic idea bc he got arrested like 3 days later. but i have an alt storyline where he doesnt get arrested and gets away with it but idk lmao im so so so so so sorry this is so long and so shitty

9-1-1: Lone Star S1 EP1

for context, it has been an exhausting day and I'm up to date with 9-1-1 which is what I would usually watch now and I need to treat myself so I am officially starting 9-1-1 lone star.

as with all shows, I have seen almost every clip of this show on YouTube (mostly following the tarlos storyline let's be honest) so I know some shit that happens but I've never seen a full episode, so yall can read / watch along with me while I find out some much needed context.

hello!!!! its my birthday and i was wondering if i could ask for a nickschmidt ficlet where they have been secretly hooking up and the loft finds out? + theyre emotionally repressed about it

“Nick?” Jess asks, poking her head into his room. “Are you having some kind of emotional breakdown in here?”

“Knock more, Jessica,” Nick says, much more high-pitched than he’d intended but probably justified.

“. . .okay, you’ve—sort of bunched up the sheets around your chest like you’re a nineteenth century gentlewoman  in a romance novel and I’m your handsome suitor that just walked in on you while you were only wearing a nightgown,” she says, sounding concerned. “I didn’t think those sounded like—self pleasure noises, but—”

“Do not say self pleasure,” Nick says, faintly, pulling the sheets tighter around himself, “and please leave and never come back.”

“Okay,” Jess says, skeptically. “I just wanted you to know that I’m here for you.”

“. . .I know,” Nick says. “Thanks, Jess.”

She smiles at him in a way that still makes his heart do something funny before backing out and shutting the door. There’s a five second pause before Schmidt sighs and crawls back onto the bed which he launched himself off of the first time Jess knocked, collapsing next to Nick with a groan.

He’s fully naked. Schmidt is one hundred thousand times more comfortable with nudity than Nick is, which is something he knew prior to them hooking up but something that he's become distinctly more aware of now that they are, in fact, hooking up.

“We’re going to get caught,” Schmidt says. “You’re the least stealthy person that I’ve ever known. God forbid we ever have to do a heist.”

“I wasn’t the one making the weird sex noises, pal,” Nick says, frowning at him.

“. . .you were doing the thing with your tongue,” Schmidt says, a little squirrelly, because they usually don’t actually talk much about what happens. It feels more manly that way; they just get in, get out and move on with their lives until next time.

“You like that?” Nick asks.

“Do I—yeah, I like that. For someone who says they’ve never done—that kind of thing before,” Schmidt says, squinting up at Nick. “You’re suspiciously good at it.”

“Seems self-explanatory,” Nick says, shrugging. “You just. . . use your tongue. Do, y’know. . .tongue stuff with it.”

“Oh, I know,” Schmidt says, laughing. “I definitely know. You wanna finish what you started?” 

“Can you be quiet this time?” Nick asks, raising his eyebrows when Schmidt sits up to give him a look before he surges forward to pull Nick into a kiss. 

All of this was weird at first but they’re, like, really good at touching each other when they just forget about why they shouldn’t do it. Like how they’re roommates and best friends and straight. Sort of straight. Previously entirely straight. It’s a whole thing. 

Schmidt is sprawled out on his back and Nick’s about to start going down on him again when suddenly Jess calls loudly from the living room, “Does anybody in this loft want to split a carton of Chunky Monkey and just really get into their feelings together?”

“I’M FINE,” Nick yells. 

“ABSOLUTELY NOT,” Schmidt yells, a half second later. 

They both go quiet until they hear the sound of ballet flats on the floor and then Schmidt’s shoving Nick off to try to hide again but things go kind of sideways so Nick’s the one on the floor when Jess opens the door again. He lays down flat and listens to the horrific silence in the room as Jess makes a soft, confused noise and then doesn’t say anything. 

“Can I help you?” Schmidt asks, voice wavering. He’d be terrible in a heist, too. He has no room to talk about heisting. 

“. . .is Nick in here?” Jess asks, slowly. “Because I could’ve sworn Nick was in here naked and now you’re in here naked and I’m just trying to figure out. . .a logical. . .are you both in here naked?” 

“Nick clearly isn’t here,” Schmidt says. “I am just in his bed because my bed. . .has been stolen. . .by carnival folk. . .” 

“I can see the top of Nick’s head,” Jess interrupts. “He’s really bad at hiding.”

Nick sits up slowly. 

“Hi, Jess,” he says. 

“Hi, Nick,” she says. “So, are you two. . .dating?” 

“No,” Nick says, immediately. 

“Ew,” Schmidt says. 

“. . .ew?” Nick repeats, offended.
