#not to say that it's bad or snything obv like i can vibe with soma #it's more like uhhhhh the weapons are usually written as a support for the meisters so it's very easy to read it as romantic #i will say tho with some people i get the sense that they read the weapon/meister dynamic as just shorthand for romance #which to me is a bit reductive and also kind of yucky when you look at for example kilik fire and thunder ya know #like SO often i see someone like yes i ship maka with soul blackstar with tsubaki kid with liz ox with harvard and kilik with uhhh no one #like to clarify i don't think these ppl do this on purpose obv it's just kinda something subconscious #idk if i'm properly communicating what i'm trying to say but it is what it is feel free to ask questions if you're confused v_v #soul eater
