It’s actually incredible how so many people are taking a real complex situation where both Ruby and Jaune are airing out their trauma, both are saying things which need to be said, and neither are totally in the right and using it as fuel to confirm their biases and villainize the character you don’t like

Trauma is not *pretty*, people; both Ruby and Jaune are suffering and things are getting messy and people are getting hurt in the process and to distill it down to “Ruby bad” or “Jaune bad” is not only doing a disservice to the writing but it’s also exposing this fandom as really biased and unempathetic

Both Ruby and Jaune have been placed in situations making it impossible to confront their demons and they’re finally getting the opportunity to talk about it, but they’re mistakenly taking it out on each other and everyone else and people are getting hurt in the process

To take this situation which is CLEARLY WRITTEN so that you empathize with both parties and use it as an excuse to smear the character you don’t like is stupid lmao
