f1tea Pierre arrived in the paddock at 8.30am this morning. Melbourne walk was booming with fans having 1 last chance to get their merch signed by their favourite racers.

In non-driver news, the Gasly Princess - Yn Gasly arrived to the paddock at 9.00am alongside Joris Trouche and Charles Leclerc. As they walked through the Melbourne Walk, loud jeering and boos could be heard from the fans. Many were telling her to stay away from Formula 1 and its drivers.

Upon hearing the jeering and boos, Charles Leclerc alongside other drivers Alex Albon, George Russell and Lando Norris who were present at Melbourne Walk proceeded to try and defend their friend yn however their efforts were not enough.

Joris Trouche then took Yn tight in his grip and entered the paddock quick. Sources from inside the paddock say that Yn was in tears and Joris proceeded to walk with her to the Alpine Motorhome. Throughout the Race Day, Yn was not seen as much in the paddock.

pierregasly Yn Julianna Gasly. My relationship with my baby sister is one of the most important in my life.

From all the pizza parties to celebrate karting wins and her football school team wins, to fighting over the PS3 controllers, to not talking to each other for months, we have gone through it all.

Yn has always been on my side through the thick and thin. At every race she be at the garage or along the fence cheering me on! (charles and anthoine too but thats beside the point) Good day or Bad Day she always made sure she was there for me. She even ditched playdates to travel with Maman to watch me race.

Anthoine’s Passing affected all of us differently. We handled our grieve separately. My biggest regret was pushing Yn away forgetting that she too was grieving the lost of her bestfriend. When I look back, i feel that the road she went down was partly my fault. But with an immense amount of help for her and the family, we got through it together. I hated that my sister was barely with us for those 4 months. But at that time i thought that was best. Looking back, I should have done more. But mistakes were made. Like I told Yn, “Mistakes are OKAY only if they happen once and you learn, and dont repeat it again.”

My sister made a mistake. It is something she cannot ignore. It happened. But she learned from it. We learned from it. Her past does not define who she is now. My Sister is my number 1 Supporter. She is my Person, My Best Friend, My Twin. What has been said online the past few weeks about her the jeering when she is out in public is simply unacceptable. It has to stop. Losing someone you love can make you do incredibly stupid things. But I know my sister, those 4 months was not her.

So please I am hoping that you can understand. The mistakes my sister made in the past is not who she was or is now. Please stop circulating the pictures and videos.

You swished your drink around not even really wantin it in all honesty. It just felt all surreal and awkward having him around. It just didn't feel natural anymore. And you hated it so fuckin much. Your thoughts were brought out by your rather oblivious boyfriend giving you a kiss on the forehead. " Hey sorry to interrupt you in your space but I gotta head out for a bit. A friend from work needs help movin some furniture. " He said with a smile. " Don't worry about the bar ken is already gettin ready for his shift. So i Did end up using the free trial of prime video to watch RWRB and yall. Im still obsessed. Casting was spot on and I loved it sm

However i am still inevitably comparing it to the book. It was pretty loyal to the story, although I do have a few q's. (Yes i did google to try and find the answers im just voicing my thoughts)

Why no June??? I love her. I get thats its technically a love story and shes "just" a side character, but shes an important part of Alex's family.

Whats up with not having his mom be divorced? I can't think of any reason they wouldn't include that.

I Really dont get why they didn't leave in Luna, his and Alex's relationship was super important, to have an adult like him he could count on.

On that note, I think its dumb they got rid of the entire plotline of Richards campaign being the one to hack and leak their emails. They dont give them any closure at all in the movie.

Last one I think- why change it to a king instead of a queen? The only thing I found said "because he wanted to do it"

Also Henrys mom being super supportive at the end of the book wouldve been a cute scene to keep in. And I know she didn't in the book, but I feel like if we're changing so much, just add in a scene where she physically fights the king, I get that vibe from her.

OH (last one i swear fr this time) whyd they randomly change Henry's last name? Tf is up with that?? Unlike the others I cant find a single reason they might do that.

Hi!! I just wanted to ask for some clarification on some things you mentioned about your coding- Im learning python (sorta) and id like to know the reasonings?

For history, cant you just make a text file while working on the main history feature? After some fiddling around i got the game to create a text file and put event text that wasn't interactions in said file. I think it'd help since if things get bloated the player can just copy the text to a google doc and delete all previous text- the code i whipped up works fine this way. Pasting it below, idk if tumblr will fuck it up tho.

Put the declaration on line 233 (before loaded events were cleared), with game.cur_events_list as the event_list. I know theres apparently security concerns with using files or calling them but I know WAY too little to know if a txt file will send my computer into chaos. "my_file" should also be named after the clan name, and in its own folder for neatness. Using this also means history (ingame) can be deleted after x moons to prevent bloating overall? If the player still wants the deleted history, they just need to go to the text file. Should help with people who want to copy text too, since no longer will screenshots be needed!

As for prophecies, cant you make a hidden illness for a prophecy that gets added to 1-3 cats, that gets cured after x days (aka when the prophecy is fulfilled, from what I've seen in the code illnesses get cured after x days so if multiple cats get the prophecy illness they should all be 'cured' on the same day)? It'll be work to add stuff like multiple cats in a single prophecy and adding personality into the mix but it shouldn't be outright impossible, right? Grieving seems to work similarly so the template seems to be there.

Me coming into ur asks (yes theres better places for this im just anxious @ the discord channels lmao) is 100% a sign of love for the game. I also would like to know if the ideas would work or not, i am genuinely curious about if they've been considered and (if so) the reasons why they weren't implemented! Love yall :)

Yes, we could implement a history txt file but it would become very large very quickly. And while we could try and count on the player to get rid of the file if it's causing lag, there would end up being a lot of players who don't understand how to navigate files and wouldn't know how to delete the txt file. Once the file gets big enough it'll make timeskips begin to lag out as the file is opened and changed by the game, and then held open until the game is saved once again (since the file can't be saved and closed before the player saves the game, in case the player closes without saving). It'll also take up memory during this process.

Basically, it would use resources that we feel would be better allocated to handling other areas of the game.

The problem with prophecies is that there's a million different things that a prophecy could be predicting. Is it predicting a new special cat (like firestar), is it predicting something far in that cat's future (bluestar), perhaps it's predicting an illness or a disaster, maybe it predicts a lost cat returning. There's so many options and the moment that the game starts dictating the meaning of the prophecy is the moment that those options become significantly fewer.

If we do decide to dictate the 'meaning' of a prophecy, then there's the added trouble of ensuring that any cats integral to the prophecy don't get killed or permanently changed in a way that makes the prophecy stop making sense. We have begun working on an "ongoing event" system that would control events spanning over multiple moons. This will eventually be used for things like natural disasters and wars, and if we wanted to we could potentially use it for prophecies. But, as said, that poses a lot of difficulties with having to "soft lock" any cats included in that prophecy so that they only change in specific ways that make sense. This would require a ton of work to code in.

It's never impossible but sometimes it can be unreasonable, and this is a case where we feel that "real" prophecies would be unreasonable.

i do not understand why everyone says Firefox is so great on mobile

its one of the worst mobile browsers ive used

i keep seing people say 'oh its so fast, you can use all the extensions you need, everythinga so much smoother' and i dont know what version yall are using but that aint the case in my experience

for me i cant seem to save pictures, you have a very small selection of extensions to choose from, half the pages dont load, and the ones that do load dont work

theres so many times i tried to use firefox to download something and the page wont work, like the download button is unclickable or never shows up

then i use it in chrome and it goes right through

so idk if people are literally just saying it so people dont use chrome, understandable because chrome/Google are the worst, or if it just hates specifically me

but until the day it actually functions im stuck using chrome or whatever chrome equivalent if i ever find one that works better

#even on computer Firefox isnt great i dont know why people insist its flawless or whatever #like its slow its kinda clunky its not this amazing spectacular browser that works so much better than the rest #it works fine #adding extensions slows it down which is something i do not see people mention #not to say its no good its a good browser #but my main reason for using it isnt that its way better faster smoother #i use it because chrome is terrible #thats the biggest factor in my use of firefox for desktop #if chrome didn't suck i probably would not be using it

DNA is code after all. maybe by having access to the emotions bits of the brain that DNA code gets mangled up with the squip code. in this world we cant replicate human intelligence exactly, but maybe the squip is advanced enough for that and can mimic human behavior to the point of actually feeling emotions somehow. to my knowledge (and google) AIs mimic human behavior by using past human examples, and since squips have the most access to their users past actions and memories and feelings maybe they slowly become more and more like their host, although it kinda looks like thats not the case so far, so maybe its over time. maybe theyre all gonna merge with their users eventually. i have no fucking clue im just throwing shit at the wall

hey quick reminder that when ppl talk about not gendering medical stuff like gyno care or abortions or prostate cancer or testicular cancer or whatever its not just bc "oh its misgendering people" (although that should like. already be a good enough reason.) its also because, legally, these things being gendered On The Books™ can and oftentimes DOES result in people being denied care.

(most of the examples of this shit ive heard have been from trans people, probably mostly just on account of me following a lotta trans people, but ill go out on a limb and say the same type of shit probably happens to intersex people, and I would love to hear what yalls experience dealing with this shit is if anyone feels like chiming in.)

for example, a really common one ive heard a LOT about is cases where trans people have to fight insurance providers because oh, you need an abortion? well, our system says that abortion is specifically for females, and your gender marker is legally male, therefore no its automatically denied. sometimes this is fixable by spending however long on the phone with your insurance arguing with them, sometimes they just outright refuse to cover your care. so, hope you have the cash to pay out of pocket!

and even if you do have the money to pay out of pocket, hypothetically you could be denied care in other ways. For instance, if theres a law on the books where you live saying that doctors have an OBLIGATION to provide abortion care to women in emergencies, that could easily be used by someone whos either transphobic or anti-choice to just. let you die, because legally you're a man, and the law says nothing about being obliged to help a man get an abortion.

(i do recall at least one well known case of a trans man who was forced to entirely detransition to get an abortion and wasnt allowed to re-transition for several years, perhaps from the 90s/early 2000s? but I am unable to find a source for that atm, and googles mostly showing recent news articles on trans abortion rights. if anyone recalls the story and has it on hand, i would appreciate a link)

so, if youre considering changing your gender marker you might end up having to ask yourself "do i risk losing access to my healthcare, or do i risk the next bartender/cop/whoever looking at my ID and seeing an (F when i have a full beard)/(M when i have tits)?".

hell, heres even a story from one person who had trouble picking up fucking adderall (not even a gendered drug!) just because the mismatch between the gender listed in the pharmacy system/legally and and his gender listed on his insurance ("female", in order to access reproductive care and shit). his solution was to just, change his gender on all insurance forms to male and "see what happens next time i need a pap smear".

its not just because being misgendered sucks and shits uncomfortable, its because people are regularly denied care due to this bullshit. theres no fucking reason why your insurance/providers should be able to deny you care for parts you have based on a single letter on a form. there is no good reason for healthcare to be gendered besides bureaucracy and denying people care.

yeah, i also would like healthcare to not be gendered because god its fucking uncomfortable when the person doing my pap smear cant go five seconds without saying the word "women" as shes blabbing on, but dont pretend like its ONLY about comfort.

So I graduated with my bachelors may 2021 right, and I graduated from the honors program at my college. I didn’t find out I had adhd until after graduation so I spent the entirety of my bachelors thinking my inability to focus was a problem with me individually as a person and that I was just lazy and immature and would never be able to grow up.

When I was a freshman we had Honors ‘family meetings’ where a group of freshman were assigned under a sophomore to help us get used to college. Went great! Until the last meeting where one of the honors advisors came by.

He asked if we had any feedback or ideas or concerns and I mentioned that I’d been having trouble remembering assignments for the honors program bc the were on google classroom (for some reason???) rather than blackboard where literally all my other stuff was and I’d missed the deadline for one or two and turned them in late as a result. (Again, I h a d u n d i a g n o s e d a d h d w h i c h i s w e l l k n o w n t o c a u s e m e m o r y p r o b l e m s. Certainly didn’t help that we didn’t ALWAYS have an assignment that week so not only were they out of the way they were irregular too, talk about hell for an ND)

He literally, quite literally, laughed directly in my face and said ‘well have you tried being more responsible?’ And then brushed me off as a lazy teenager.

First of all, dick move regardless. Second of all, I had those problems bc of an undiagnosed neurodevelopmental disorder.

Guess who’s very much graduated now and very much has the medal to show that I completed the honors program and also very much has a prescription for adhd medication to show I’m serious and ALSO sent an email to the head of the honors department that this happened and tl;dr said ‘you failed as advisors and failed me as someone in your program, but I didn’t need you and made it without you, what about the students in your care now who do need you that you may be failing?’

Guess who’s exchanged multiple emails with the head of the program (nice guy, he’s fine and def not the one who was cruel that day, I like him just fine and have never had a problem with him) and he has shared my email with the rest of the advisors (the guy who said it is still theeeerrreeee <— singsong) and we are now coordinating a meeting with me, him, and ALL of the honors advisors to talk more about this??? :)

I am coming for their throats. :)

(I am not going to call out the specific guy bc I refuse to potentially ruin someone’s job over a singular, thoughtless comment over 4 years ago. I’m not that kind of person.)

My message in brief to them will pretty much be:

‘Hey so I was mocked for expressing I had a problem and turns out I had that problem bc of an undiagnosed neurological disorder so 1. Don’t assume you know why a student is having an issue bc maybe THEY don’t even know they just know they have it and 2. What would it matter if it WAS because I was a fresh out of high school teenager who didn’t know how to take care of myself??? How does belittling me at all, nevermind in front of a group of my peers, help resolve the situation when YOU are supposed to be HELPING me as is your JOB DESCRIPTION???

Maybe don’t fucking mock your students????’

i know theres a cycle where I get asks I delete, then 2-3 days later, i get random shit in my inbox "are you going to doxx him? are you going to attack him? are you going to burn his crops!?" which triggers another scratch fight. of nothingness, nothing gets done. except what the people want, online adrenaline rush, clicking back and forth between our profiles shallow breathing whats gonna be posted next.

but even if its someone else sending these anons. i got a little file full of shit i never did since "was mean to me" didnt have enough oomph for a callout and frick frack and fuck comes out of the woodwork saying i called him a scammer or rigged him during an election idk, my comedic attittude about all this just emphasizes how much i dont care anymore.

but hey i can mark up the failed effort to get me kicked out of flight school and these anons i get talking about hurting my nephews and hoping my sister will overdose to him and his goons. fuck it why not. see how easy it is?

to state, amidst the chaos, i thought talking on a throwaway account, something i can do and do again nullified the purpose of ever needing anon. (i understand in saying this, could give the third party ideas, but i mean, the 3-4 online people i rarely talked to dont talk to me ever now so what else do you want from me, i dont know if this/these individual(s) are driven by some twisted moral standing or a sense of vigilantism but i promise, speaking from no place of emotion, youre doing more hurt to this guy fucking with him than you are making me worry about my online reputation)

i did Not use tumblr back then when any of this happened, not to mention anon hate has never been my style. im sorry but i have cooler ways to be a dick, you know this. i think its not hard to say "ess is loud, bold, aggressive, no filter, etc." at least acknowledge That as the truth and use it against me instead of whatever is happening here.

i went to his personal dms, fucked with his friends who tried to jump in, all using my name. i wasnt worried about people knowing it was me, i already knew it was too late and it didnt matter. trying to cover myself wouldnt have even been something i was concerned with because it was impossible. nor would i have cared really, at the time, i wanted everyone right then and there to know it was me and what i was doing, even on my main account i was going off.

this part i was trying to frantically explain, in a moment of vulnerability i will never Ever fucking allow myself to be put under again, it had been conveniently cropped out of the apology i sent to him. (yes, the one i took back, because if everyone hated it, bitched about me for not following the 10 commandments to an online apology and he genuinely didnt want it, why would i leave it up at that point. like seriously.

good thing i have the capacity to block, at this point its just a display over who needs that sweet online drama adrenaline for a sense fullfillment and who doesnt.

everyone in my life has told me "what can you do to him he hasnt done to himself" once i tell them the story and yeah....

yeah..

but yeah this message is for the keyboard squad but mainly for the fence sitters who stick by waiting for a conclusion or some form of closure. there isnt gonna be one. ive done all the work on my half creating better social spaces in real environments. i understand i wasnt great to someone. ONE. and ever since then ive been doing my work.

needless to say, im gonna parrot this, and say ive graduated flight school last month and ive found freelance work as a private aviatior, ive been talking to a therapist, am staying medicated, and ive built myself up and have become an active member in my community and will be looking into EMT training shortly so i can be a better street medic.

and im sorry, genuinely from the bottom of my heart, there are people who exist stuck in this time tunnel reliving the same day over and over. you can buzzword and slam your fists out of this and dig your heels in refusing the reality here, but ive wrote this understanding the audience this is talking too has no sense of rationality left. ive done my work, a fuckton of hard work after fucking up and hitting rock bottom and i cant let you nor your friend's inability to move on, doom me to being the same "evil" (that got a laugh from me) person.

im not scared of getting screenshotted, angry dms, anons, my posts analyzed with test tubes and beakers, take me to kiwifarms officer. this whole place could hate me and ill just go "youre all wrong, sorry"

in fact i dont even want an answer to any of these questions, this is just my final statement on the situation because im breaking this cycle. its not an 8 anymore, its a 0.

and as for the one which coat tailed this situation between me one and other person to try and dogpile the drama. our situation is entirely different from what happened here. like you can spread whatever narrative and half truths you need but you and i alone will only ever know the truth about what happened, and you can sleep on that. you have never been an afterthought to me outside of busting out laughing at a walmart whenever i see "anti-frizz" serum. i just hope you dont gotta go lay down after reading that.
