This wasn’t the first time he’d seen her flirting with him, and he’d seen her leave with him at least once before. He didn’t know why, but it bugged him a little. It wasn’t cause he wanted her to flirt with him, no, he knew that wouldn’t happen. But he thought she deserved better that asshole. Not that he’d tell her that. He wasn’t in the business of voicing his concerns or feelings. Wasn’t his place anyway. She could do what she wanted. But still... he could at least keep an eye on things. So he inhaled the smoke from his joint, and leaned back, watching the two of them quietly with narrowed eyes from the corner. @lilacxrosesx​

it wasn’t until the moment his fist tapped on the door, that max realized this was a huge mistake. he shouldn’t be here. they hadn’t even spoken in years, and yet, here he was, at their doorstep, only now letting it sink in just how ridiculous this all was. the only reason that he even had their address was because of the rsvp information on the invitation, which should have been a sign that what he was doing was insane. they weren’t even friends anymore, so what on earth had made him think taking a flight out here was a good idea? before he had a chance to make a run for it and pretend he’d never been here, however, he heard the sound of the door unlocking, alerting him that it was too late. he had no choice, but to face the stupid decision he’d made.

You caught me.” She mused, a lopsided smile on her lips as she finished the mouthful. “I couldn’t be bothered to cook anything for dinner, so yes, I’m eating cereal.” Not the best, nutrition-wise, but whatever.

Xavier knew that this might have been the dumbest thing he’d ever done. No. He knew that it was. Nothing that he’d done in the past had topped this and he’d done some incredibly dumb shit in the past. But this took the cake. He was sitting on a bench, with his head leaned back against the concrete wall, and his eyes closed. He was sporting a black eye, a cut on his lip, and a small wound on his forehead, as well as several cuts and bruises all over his body. He was definitely in pain. But that wasn’t even the worst of it. The bench he was sitting on; was in jail. He’d gotten drunk and high with some work buddies of his, and together, they had decided to make the guys that hurt Skye pay for what they’d done. Unfortunately, a neighbour had called the cops, and while most of his friends got away, he hadn’t. He’d been arrested and was currently facing charges of assault and possession of drugs. Jail didn’t scare him though. No. What scared him the most was the fact that he knew that Skye was on her way there since he was his emergency contact. @lilacxrosesx
