Hey! Sorry I haven't been active [in forever] but don't worry because Merilian is always in the back of my mind!

As for Lucille, well...

She's got the genius intellect of Lilian and the mischievous side of Merula. Naturally, she's headstrong and stubborn like both of them but somehow wound up as a Hufflepuff(?)

Not that she'd trade it for anything. In fact, it's become a running joke with her family that they'd disown her if she ever wound up dating a Gryffindor (She does)

She's also rather savy with creatures, learning about Parseltongue and mastering it by her second year. She also loves going to the forbidden forest to chat with Lilians old acromantula Charon, finding him to be quite fun.

And yes, when one has two goth mothers who are super understanding of self expression and individualism, she is also a goth.

Several Dramione fic ideas swirling through my brain, just listing them here mostly for my own reference because they get lost in my phone notes:

Biggest thing: Unforgettable (sequel to my 160k multi-chap, Unforgivable) Memory loss fic, but not like any you’ve read.

Small thing, but wanna do it justice: a Draco POV follow-up to my one-shot, The Genuine Article, where Draco is forced into the muggle world following the war.

Huge thing I don’t know I will ever get to: a canon re-write, probably in vignette form, starting from Harry’s Hogwarts letter. Basic premise is that Dudley read the letter and insists on being brought along with Harry for his school supply shopping trip. Hagrid never comes to get Harry. Harry meets Draco in Dagon alley and becomes friends with him after Draco insults the Dursleys for being shitty to Harry Potter.

Other huge thing: Draco is court ordered to attend 8th year, but sends a clone of himself instead. (There is some kind of muggle/magical connection here, for the cloning but) Hermione and the clone become friends, but she knows something is off, and is hell bent on figuring it out. Madness and hilarity ensues.

Oh! And it’s called “Multiplicity” a la the Michael Keaton film.

She also made an aliance with Shiro Emiya during the War and decided to learn his brand of cooking until she master it after the Holy Grail war ended. 

Gilgamesh and Sakura got along real well with one another that created with the rich resources of Sakura a good number of magical treasures that the Association of Mages would surely envy. After the Holy Grail War, Sakura Potter enrolled herself in Tōtsuki Tea Ceremony and Cooking Academy, where she perfected brand of cooking, becaming one of the best School cook and pastery in that School.

Harry Potter Rec Fest Day 23 - Soulmates

I find soulmate fics very interesting. They can complicated in terms of consent and free will, but I've seen some fics that do a really great job exploring and explaining this trope and its pitfalls. shayalonnie's Debt of Time comes to mind. But this is fiction, so I can ignore a little bit the problems with fate deciding things for the characters, because the romance, angst, and tension is so good.

you've got the antidote for me by kandakicksass Podfic by @sandstripe Pairing: Draco x Harry Word count: 20,730 Rating: M

Harry severs his bond with Draco before it can truly form, which leads to Draco suffering from a debilitating and terminal illness. Draco suffers in silence, Harry takes care of him, and don't worry, it has a happy ending. It's sweet and painful and has great interactions between Draco and Harry's friends.

Soulmate Flowers by Lilian Podfic by JocundaSykes Pairing: Harry x Severus Word count: 4,467 Rating: G

When you touch your soulmate, flowers bloom on your skin. The different kinds of flowers described in this fic are beautiful. The story is concise and emotionally heavy. It has a happier ending than canon, but surprisingly, due to the speed of the narrative, you still feel all of Harry's big emotional moments (and the lack of those that thankfully don't happen). And of course, JocundaSykes is an impeccable narrator.

The tension of soulmate marks that tell you the minute you die! The idea that Harry and Severus die within hours of each other provides constant drama and keeps the reader in suspense. @likelightinglass builds out the lore of this idea and expands to include platonic soulmates as well. This Snape is so cutting and short with Harry, but you can see how much he himself is hurting and resigned to his fate. The idea of them both marching grimly toward their deaths in service of Dumbledore is truly heartbreaking, but thankfully, there's a lovely happy ending.

The Ripples They Cause by @p1013 - a Podfic (Spotify) Pairing: Draco x Harry Word count: 9,849 Length: 1:02:00 Rating: M

Soulmarks are also death dates in this fic. Short vignettes of canon, reinterpreted through Draco's POV after he learns that Harry (a) is his soulmate and (b) will die at 17. Draco is still a nasty twit coerced by poor parenting to do bad things throughout the war, but you feel his pain and cringe at how a spoiled teenage boy deals with feelings and events too big for him. I love the snappy dialogue and the snapshots of years 1-7, and the ending is sweet and hopeful.

Hi, so. I have two questions about Digimon.

Number one: Was Kisakimon's sacrifice to protect Shoutmon's life inspired by Lilian Potter's sacrifice to protect Harry Potter? I wondered about this because when I saw your channel, I saw two of your videos about the films.

Number two: Doesn't Shoutmon have any relatives on his mother's side? we know practically all of Omegamon's lineage and family. But what about Kisakimon? Does she have no parents or siblings? And if so, why couldn't they take care of our little future king during his childhood?

A digimon question! (which was repeated twice, so I will answer it only in an ask^^')

*Number One: Oh, I don't deny that I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan (but I think the crown goes to my mother. She watches THE WHOLE SAGA, every week^^'). But nope, Kisakimon's sacrifice was not based on Lily Potter. Although, if you think about it, both situations are based on the same thing: the love of a mother for her child. That's a universal law in many works, don't you think?

*Number Two: Okay. I really liked this question (so the answer will be a bit long^^') The thing is, the term "family" was not very well known at that time in the Digital World. Digimon were born through the formation of data, or based on programs. Although a digitama can also be born from two digimon, (in my story), at that time that "human" perception didn't exist. Even more so, if it were the beginnings of the Digital World. Kisakimon was born like most digimon at that time. Alone. Yes, cared for by others, but they were not family. Think of it like clans? That would be the best term for it. But then, why did the term "family" slowly begin to exist among digimon? Precisely because of Alphamon. Alphamon had contact with humans. He learned many terms from Hinata and the rest of his human friends. That was why he considered Ryudamon "his brother". "Mother", "father", "siblings", "family"… Both Dorumon and Ryudamon were the first digimon to learn those terms. And Alphamon passed those terms on to "his sons". And he surely told several digimon about it. Let digimon connect over data, or even just over their own feelings. For friendship, for love… And I wouldn't be surprised if, based on that, some digimon also decided to "start families." But those were a few. Many digimon preferred to simply be in clans, or alone, honing their power. Kisakimon preferred to be with her friends, Agumon and Gabumon. To her, they were her "family," along with the dinosaur's little brothers. It's not that she had no contact with the other Guilmon, but there was simply no connection other than being of the same race and being born in the same place. That's why Kisakimon has no family on her side. Rather, because of that kind of thing, many old digimon don't have family members (like Tactimon, Lilithmon, Blastmon, The four sacred beasts, etc) Those who managed to form, well, we have met some of their descendants (such as Kokoromon, and Gaiomon). But they were very few.
