Hello good people of tumblr! Welcome to my account, glad to have you here. This is a roleplay account for the omens au by the lovely bunfloras and quizb. Any and all posts will be related to that, unless I specify otherwise! Ooc posts will be dignified by two slashes, like seen in the beginning of this post.

If you were part of omens before, you may or may not recognize me from the week of chaos that I shall now be dubbing the unfortunate happenings that once occurred (with various variations). I will not go into any detail of the events that occurred. In fact, I will be so cryptic about it that people who don’t know what happened will think that someone was kidnapped and replaced by a clone that then tried to kill the original and his closest friends. Oh wait, wrong au.

ANYWAYS! I was indeed quite active in the week of omens over on Twitter. Same character and everything, @glitch_trees if you want to check it out and learn more about my character. Some of my personal favorite moments of mine are the following:

-Getting the oh-so-elusive Bikeman follow. He was a true homie, he will be missed

-Almost getting burnt alive when a hero set the warehouse I was in on fire

-Making raccoon robots after the racclone fiasco

-Falling into a dumpster during parkour

-Writing in villains with sharpie and putting stickers on them with Phosphor/Lightning Bug

-This sick photo taken when running from the police:

-Hiding eggs all over the city for Easter with other vigilantes:

And that’s basically all the notable/entertaining things I’ve done during the last go around. I should note that I don’t consider any of what happened last time canon unless the creators themselves mention it and make it clear that it’s canon. So events like vote Bikeman for god, the racclone fiasco, etc. won’t be brought up by me a lot. I may mention them once or twice to make a funny haha joke, but it’ll be more like a vague reference and I’ll treat it like it was a weird collective dream everyone had.

ENOUGH OF THE PAST! It’s time to talk about what will be happening now!

I will continue to roleplay as Glitch going forward. Don’t know who Glitch is? They’re my vigilante omens oc who loves inventing, coffee, explosives, and being a pain in the ass for heroes.

They do in fact have a power, but it’s not revealed to the public. It’s a pretty discreet one, so unless you knew what to look for you wouldn’t know what it was. To sum it up, they can control any machine that’s within a certain distance from them, with a passive effect of knowing where nearby machines and their parts are (like wires and such). How it works is they split their consciousness, some of it going to the machine they control. This lets them do things like hear and see through mics and cameras. They can change how much of their consciousness they put into a machine, so they can either have a very loose control or go fully into it. Their skill in controlling the machine also changes with how well they understand it. If they made the machine themself, or are familiar with its structure and how it functions, they can get a pretty tight control. But if they don’t know a lot, they’ll get a lot of fight back. It’s still possible to control a machine they don’t know, but it’s a lot more taxing and time consuming, so they don’t do it often. Side effects include migraines, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, and disassociation, depending how much of them goes into the machine.

They have quite a few tools in their kit, all of which were made by themself. Their main weapon is their staff, which is actually a pair of escrima sticks that combine together. They can be electrified as well. They have a laser knife, which is just a regular knife with a button that activates an electromagnetic radiation field around it. It can be used to cut and burn stuff that way. Then they have an eye mask, which is styled to look like one of those LED eye changing ones. But it has an earpiece connected that automatically hacks into police/hero radios so they can listen in. They have some animal robots, mostly smaller things like birds or bugs. Yes I’m keeping the raccoon robots, it was a cool idea okay. They use these to gather information before going into a fight or to distract their opponents. Some smaller things they have include hover boots, wrist braces that have various tools like a grapple gun, and generic tools like flashbangs, bear spray, lock picks, and smoke bombs.

But they’re not Glitch all the time! By day, they’re Emery Hart, a software developer trying to make ends meet.

They actually wanted to be a hero when they were younger. But when they applied for the academy, they were rejected, the only reason being that their power wasn’t “heroic” enough. So, they took matters into their own hands, taking on the Glitch persona and saving people their own way. This might not be set in stone, if anything the creators say contradicts this backstory I will change it.

That’s about all you need to know about Glitch! Let’s talk a bit about me now.

I go by a few names. You can just call me Glitch ooc if you want. I also go by Apple, which is my regular username. Honestly I don’t care what you call me as long as it isn’t intentionally rude. I use she/her pronouns ooc, but I get it if you just want to use they/them so you just use the same pronouns for the same account, I get it.

I do use tone tags a decent amount myself. You don’t need to use them when talking to me, but if it can come across a few ways then I would appreciate them just to clarify. If you don’t use them for whatever reason, then I’ll probably ask what the tone was meant to be if I’m confused. If I don’t ask and get the tone of your message wrong, just let me know no biggie.

I’m not actually that into the dsmp anymore, mostly I’m just into fan content like this. I do love Minecraft though, and a lot of video games in general. I mostly play Nintendo games, with Splatoon, Pokémon, and The Legend of Zelda being my favorite series. My favorite games are Kid Icarus: Uprising and Undertale though.

I write fanfics! I’m planning on uploading a ROTTMNT oc fic on my main Tumblr. It’ll mostly be crack with no real plot in the beginning then I’ll decide where I want it to go lol. I also have BNHA and Harry Potter fanfics that revolve around other ocs of mine. The BNHA one follows a quirkless vigilante and the Harry Potter one follows a Slytherin girl in Fred and George’s year. They’re both on Ao3, Quotev, and Wattpad, so if they sound interesting or you just like how I write on this page, then check them out! I assure you, you’re not missing out on much if you don’t know the plots of the source material. Each fic follows its own plotline, and while they might follow canon loosely, there are many differences that make it easy to follow without prior knowledge.

I also do art! I post ROTTMNT art and videos on TikTok along with some other content mixed in, and I post more finished pieces and WIPS on Twitter. If you like any art I post here and want to see more, check them out!

Saw this somewhere and wanted to throw it your way, sorry if you’ve been asked this before but what do you think of the concept of Noah always having been an assistant (even before the first season)/never playing as a contestant would look like?

The thing about Noah as a contestant is that he's, for all intents and purposes, kind of useless. And by that I mean Noah as a character isn't important to the plot at all in the grand scheme of things. He's barely important from an episodic point of view either; Noah does very little throughout Total Drama in terms of story relevance, and just in general. (Lazy king 👑.)

So taking him out of the equation wouldn't really affect too much in the grand scheme of things, save for probably preventing his friendship with Owen and, from a fanon standpoint, the rest of team E-scope. He'd be pretty much the same person, just behind the camera instead of on it.

But that's kind of a boring answer, and not at all what you were looking for, right?

So, let's say that Noah lands himself a job working as the personal assistant for some hot-shot A-list celebrity through one of his many siblings' various contacts; is it nepotism? Probably. But who's Noah to look a gift horse in the mouth? A fairly easy job following some pretentious asshole around all day and grabbing him the occasional coffee sounds like a pretty sweet gig, especially with the salary and various benefits that come with the job description. So Noah takes the job without question.

And that's how he finds himself stuck in the middle of nowhere, Muskoka, on an undisclosed island owned by said A-lister whilst he films the first season of his new Reality TV show, Total Drama Island.

Being Chris' personal assistant was supposed to be an easy pay check. "Supposed to be" being the point of interest there; Noah didn't anticipate Chris being as sadistic or as childishly needy as he was. If he wasn't running around like a headless chicken trying to accommodate for Chris' oftentimes outlandish whims and fancies, he was stuck answering to the producers in the host's stead- and the producers were pissed with Chris more often than not for his frivolous use of the show's budget. Something about having a genius level IQ and enough snark to make grown men cry apparently made him qualified enough to deal with the industry big-wigs. Noah was far too overworked to question it.

So much for an easy pay check.

Noah's not bad at his job by any means. In his professional opinion, the whole show and Chris' career would be in the dumps without his personal input keeping everything afloat. That doesn't mean he doesn't loathe his job with every sleep-deprived inch of his being.

And, inevitably, Noah ends up spending a lot of time around the campers themselves. Mostly as a consequence of always having to remain "on set" so to speak, since Noah's pretty much contractually obligated to linger around Chris' vicinity and wait for his boss to assign him some menial task to do. Most of the campers are just as egocentric and insufferable as he'd first assumed- and honestly, what else would he expect from people who singed up for a Reality TV show?- but a select few turn out to be decent company; namely Owen and Eva (and Izzy, but Noah refuses to admit that the "Psycho Hose Beast" is actually bearable to be around).

He'd even go so far as to claim they were friends good acquaintances.

Of course, his job takes precedent over frivolous things like relationships, platonic or otherwise, so Noah doesn't exactly have the free time to hang out with them. Which is probably for the best considering if he did spend a lot of time around his friends acquaintances, the other contestants would have a solid enough foundation for accusations of foul play in the competition, and that's a headache Noah really doesn't want to deal with.

Consequently, Noah floats through the filming of Island, and later on Action, maintaining cordiality with his little group and cold indifference towards pretty much the rest of the cast. Not that he doesn't keep close tabs on the campers; of course he does, not only is Noah incredibly observant by nature, but he's also the one in charge of accommodating for these weirdos... plus, Chris is oddly invested in his "prize cast of ratings jewels", whatever that means. So Noah knows these people, probably more than some of them know themselves, thanks to a combined sixteen-ish weeks of observation and forced proximity.

In turn, the competitors know of Noah, though for the most part he's regarded as little more than a spectre on set- Chris' elusive personal assistant who the cast will occasionally see the barest glimpse of, usually hidden behind an impassive pair of mirrored sunglasses and, more often than not, rushing off to do whatever it is a PA does. Chris does get a little lazy in Action and on a few occasions does get Noah to make a "guest appearances" on screen- mostly just to deliver him a coffee and a gluten free muffin during the downtime of that day's challenge- but he's still practically non-existent to he majority of the cast.

Which is fine by him.

What isn't fine by him is the surprise addition of two people he knows nothing about, come the third season.

One of those contestants happens to know a lot about the cast, and a concerning amount of information about him. It's uncanny, just how much Sierra seems to know about everyone around her, even more so because of the way she practically worships the ground they walk on. Sure, Noah's encountered the odd super fan here and there- not fans of himself, of course, but in this time as Chris' assistant he's had to chase off more than enough rabid fans from trying to sneak their way onto the set of whatever show Chris was working on (or more accurately sic the on-scene security on them)- but Sierra's brand of crazy takes it to a whole new level. Noah doesn't like her on principle and is both incredibly vindicated and incredibly concerned when her stalkerish behaviour rears its ugly head. Not that he's allowed to do anything about it; the producers are adamant that Sierra's outlandish behaviour is entertaining enough for the audience to ignore the immorality, and given how much Chris has been allowed tog et away with in the past Noah's inclined to begrudgingly agree.

And the other new contestant? The one who qualified for the apparently non-existent Total Drama Dirtbags (and Noah totally isn't salty about that show being an elaborate ruse that he spent countless sleepless nights working on)? Noah's just as concerned about his friends acquaintances ignorance to Alejandro's inherent sliminess as he is about Sierra's blatant disregard for others' privacy, but again it's not like he can do anything about it. He's not even supposed to be on the show, so any sort of interference would be a big no-no.

Oh, what's that? They want him on the show?

Fuck.

Turns out, Noah's brief appearances during Action (characterised by his usual level of sass and snide comments) really resonated with their audience; they like him for some inexplicable reason, and want to see more of "Noah, Chris McLean's mysterious personal assistant".

So he's pretty much forced into acting as a co-host of sorts, much like Chef had done for the first two seasons, all whilst carrying out his usual tasks. Is he happy about this? Not a chance in hell, and he lets the producers know exactly how he feels about the sudden change in his contract. Not that it changes anything.

And the best part? World Tour is a musical themed season. If they expect him to sing, they've got another thing coming.

But, as a small part of him chimes in, spending more time on camera would give Noah plenty of opportunities to spend time with his friends acquaintances. There's a non-zero chance that he could have fun, even if it's at the expense of his valued privacy.

His new status as part of the show does allow Noah some opportunities to skew the competition in the favour of his friends acquaint- no, screw it, his friends. That's one silver lining of the whole situation.

Better yet, he can tilt things out of Alejandro's favour, since the former Dirtbag seems to have a knack for manipulating the competition anyway- Noah might as well make things more challenging for him, as it seems this game is too easy for him thus far.

Does Clarke and lexa in starlet AU have a queer following? Lol. It’s fascinating to me how the gay super fans of women’s soccer always eagle eye in on the most random details and are amazing at detective work.

Oh yeah. Yeah. Lol yes

I mean they each have a broad spectrum of fans, Clarke more so than Lexa just because of her range of work, but they don't really have 1 specific monolith type of fan.

But you have Clarke, the buxom blonde bombshell who is widely known as a flirt. She presents as very open and fun and just someone likeable. Charming but smartassed and sassy. She thinks quick on her feet and always has a quip to toss out and is entirely fearless.

In her persona at least...

Lexa is more subdued. She's kind of a mystery when anyone actually stops to think about it. She's someone who has that lowkey kind of charm, the kind that leaves you feeling as tho you can't explain exactly why you like her, you just kind of do. She presents herself somewhat the opposite of 'public Clarke' in that way. Very intellectual and thoughtful in all of her answers to things. Reserved in her demeanor, more likely to listen and ask questions to fans as tho she genuinely just wants to know about them rather than outright charming their socks off with her own flash and glam.

They're very much opposite sides of a coin. So yes they'd both have their queer fanbases, but tbh there wouldn't be a whole lot of overlap. The gays of tumblr would write think pieces on Lexa and every one of her acting choices, all while having a dash full of gifs of Clarke's latest project and that good Hollywood cleavage 😏

Okay this one's a little dumb but...

SMG4 AU where the Activation problems from Zer0's presence were even worse, some wires got crossed somewhere, and Wario ended up as the Avatar instead of Mario.

The SMGs are still Mario recolors and 4 still made friends with Mario, but Mario only got hit by enough Meme Energy to make him as chaotic as Luigi, while Wario's far worse than pre-Meggy Mario ever was since his canon self was already kind of a moronic asshole so instead of having to work up from zero the Avatar programming could just crank everything already there up to eleven.

Within a week of the pods dropping the Mushroom Kingdom's facing the worst garlic shortage in history, and that's the least of their Wario-related problems.

What happens when sonic finally meets Aleena?

It’s awkward. Stilted. Desperation in folds, but maybe that’s because Sonic can’t stand seeing girls cry. They don’t greet or hug and Sonic knows something needs to be said, but he doesn’t know the words.

Sonia and Manic run past, Manic crashing into her and Sonia stopping, just barely. Aleena wraps her arms around them and they apologize for sneaking out, yea, our bad but look! Sonic! Our brother! He’s alive, and we’re finally together and Aleena hugs them tight, but she stares at Sonic over their heads with a quiet longing. Sonic breaks eye contact first. They’re in an Eggman…Robotnik?- base-turned-hanger and he takes his time but she doesn't look away.

Sonic knows he was looking for her once, in another life as a different hedgehog. But in this life he's never had a desire for a mom, or even a thought really. He was taught to be him by the animals on Christmas Island. Seeing Vanilla and Cream was the first time he realized that people had moms and he probably had a mom too at some point.

But it was a concept, philosophy or something and Sonic went, “cool” and never thought about it again. He didn’t feel any envy or longing. He has his friends and his speed and his brother and that’s all he needs.

Speaking of-

Sonic turned away back towards the ship. There was a lil’ bit of yellow sticking out of the open hatch and Sonic throws out a single wave. The yellow turns to blue and he grins, dropping his hand to his hip, and gesturing with his head. Tails obliges and slowly creeps out onto the platform and Sonic watches to avoid the weight of his mom's stare. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees Sonia and Manic whispering behind Aleena and Tails’ ears twitch.

His tails flare in aggravation, but the fox just flicks the tension out, raises his shoulders and strides forward. He matches Sonic’s fist bump with an equal grin and when they turn back, Aleena had already looked away.
