Linhof Rollex

So I was recently gifted a Graflex Century Graphic camera but it only came with an obsolete pack film cartridge. I decided to find a camera back.

I found a really good deal on a Linhof Rollex knob wind camera back and I’m waiting for it to arrive; however I have gotten some seriously mixed answers as to whether or not it will fit the Graflok back on my camera!

If it doesn’t fit, I will be offering it for sale shortly for $150 plus $9.95 shipping so watch this space if you want to save about $100 on a really nice camera back.

I will consider a trade for some basic studio lighting!

This is my mini series where I intenitonaly put parts of camera in to the shot because I fell in love with it. Linhoff Master Technika has this weird charisma and you somehow cannot resist the urge to take it out and make some stunning images.

Untitled by Chris Via Flickr: Linhof Technika 5X7 180mm Lens FP4 in Rodinal I'm giving 5X7 one more try. It's been difficult to get the sheets to develop evenly. Using the Stearman Press 8X10 daylight processing tray, I've reduced the volume of developer to 350ml, which seems to have a positive effect.

Robert Pfaller - Wofür es sich zu leben lohnt (a philosophical quest for a good, elegant life, highly enjoyable but should be enjoyed with a grain of salt)

Stefan Zweig - Die Welt von Gestern (not just an autobiography but rather a portrait of an era. incredible book.)

Two Classics

Thomas Mann - Der Zauberberg (atmospheric, at times meandering and philosophical tale of a young man going up a mountain to visit his sick cousin. THE book. words don't do it justice)

Christa Wolf - Medea. Stimmen (a retelling of the Medea myth in monologues, with themes of feminism and East/West Germany)

Two Recent books

Christine Wunnicke - Die Dame mit der bemalten Hand (ost-west Verständigung im 18.Jh, astronomy and maths, religion and languages.)

Dana Grigorcea - Die nicht sterben (vampires, the undead, tourism, capitalism. opulent language, delicately woven.)

Aufgenommen mit einer Linhof Kardan GT, einem Schneider 90mm f/5.6 und einer Canon EOS »R« als Back. Gestitcht aus 6 Einzelaufnahmen mit je 1/10 sek., bei Blende 64 und ISO 2000. Steam locomotive of the class GtL 4/4 of the former Royal Bavarian State Railways. Here as H0 model [1:87] by Fleischmann. Taken with a Linhof Kardan GT, a Schneider 90mm f/5.6 and a Canon EOS »R« as back. Stitched from 6 single shots with 1/10 sec. each, at aperture 64 and ISO 2000.
