Man I fucking love fics where Wind is portrayed as a deity/god, especially when the rest of the chain realise he’s probably more powerful than any of them. Go little man, kick some ass <3

Lu boys as John mulaney quotes because I said so
Time- “he went home that night and said ‘papa, today I met a boy with no eyes’”
Twilight- “when I walk down the street, I need everybody, all day long, to like me so much. It’s EXHAUSTING.” (Or “Hey! Do you want me to KILL THAT GUY FOR YOU.”)
Wild- “…I made a salad with craisins!”
Warriors- “look at that high waisted man he got feminine hips”
Four-“but why don’t we just tell our relatives that I’m a four year old BOY.”
Legend- “Shut up you’re all gonna die. Street smarts!!”
Sky- “Everyone get out of my way. I just want to sit here and feed my birds.”
Wind- “think about that for two minutes and tell me you don’t wanna walk into the OCEAN” (or “I am damp all the time. I am damp now. I will be damp later.”)
Hyrule- “do my friends hate me? Or do I just need to go to sleep.”
Ravio (bonus)- “GIVE US SOME MONEY!”

AU where everything is the same but Wind is like 30 and King of New Hyrule and absolutely smashed drunk when the chain meets him for the first time so everyone is just confused.
Wind invites them in and immediately passes out and the portals are like just kind enough to wait for him to get up again.
To clarify, the chain probably aren't going to assume that a beyond tipsy young king is actually the guy they're looking for, and Wind probably says several vey stupid (probably affectionate?) things he'll regret having said within an hour of meeting them.

Hey guys little psa for the Linked Universe Fandom. So listen if you want if not, I mean I can’t stop you.
However with tears of the kingdom coming out right around the corner. Can we please start using a new tag of Lu totk or Linkeduniverse tears of the kingdom?
Only reason I ask is because I bet a lot of people are going to want to make art and writings of the Wild in his new form with the chain. Which is great, however I along with several other people have tried are hardest to avoid spoilers. So lets try and remember not everyone will be able to get the game right away, and just be respectful for to one another.
Thank you!

Best to worst at driving, LU edition:
Sky: if we’re talking about sensibility then Sky is probably one of the better drivers. He goes almost exactly the speed limit, doesn’t road rage, doesn’t fight with his passengers and he almost always has mints and boiled sweets available. The only downside is that his car is bright fucking red
Twilight: probably passed his test the quickest and is an overall safe driver unless Wild is in the car with him. He’s prone to subtle road rage (swearing under his breath, etc). Insists on playing country music constantly because it “helps him concentrate.”
Time: typical dad driver. If the boys are causing trouble he’ll purposefully swerve in the road or threaten to pull over and kick them out. Has a massive car that only he or Twilight can drive (Warriors tried once and reversed into someone else’s car). Has really stupid bumper stickers, including one with himself, Malon and eight kids
Four: very sensible but not the most amazing driver. He tires pretty easily because he has to really stretch his legs out to touch the pedals, even when he’s literally as close to the wheel as he can be. Has the smallest car of the group so he usually doesn’t have any passengers
Legend: he has TERRIBLE road rage and can be reckless at times when he’s tired or just sick of the people in the car, still has the decency to use indicators and go the speed limit though. Has pink fluffy dice in his car to distract the passengers from all the junk he has laying on the seats
Warriors: he’s fine until he drives down narrow roads or has to parallel park. The others are always placing bets on how many curbs he’s going to hit whenever he takes them out. He’s at least kind enough to let someone borrow his aux cord or plays music that isn’t country.
Hyrule: honestly doesn’t really know what he’s doing half of the time. Very bad at navigating and often gets lost, he doesn’t really mind though. Terrified of busy roads. Is the only one with a first aid kit that’s actually stocked up in the car
Wild: somehow passed his test after Hylia knows how many attempts. He’s very reckless and has been in the most accidents, almost all of them were caused by him so it’s a wonder he still has his license. Can also ride a motorcycle and uses that as his main form of transport
Wind: doesn’t have his driving license yet but when he does he’d probably be like Legend: a good driver but swears at everyone who causes a minor inconvenience to him on the road. Also probably sings sea shanties in the car

Whumptober Day10
(Stranded)
I know I went AFK for a while, but I was not ready for what whumptober would do to me-
Tumblr media
Out of two bags, he had gotten the smaller one. It wasn’t fair. He’d have to live off of this until help came. It was selfish, but he wanted more food.
They were thrown overboard during a storm in the night, trapping them within the waves. They tried calling out, but it was obvious that the lightning covered their screams.
They ended up on an island. Only plants and poisonous berries were on here. None of this could Wind or Warriors eat.
Warriors told Wind to go on the other side of the island and to not come back unless he saw a ship. He then proceeded to give him a small bag. Wind had asked what was inside. Warriors had said that it was food. Wind glanced at the bigger bag and frowned before nodding his head.
His trek wasn’t long. He sat in the sand and watched the waves peacefully sway. He felt melancholy. He used to love seeing the open sea, now he couldn’t wait to see a ship.
One, two, three days had passed. Wind hadn’t eaten a lick of food. Warriors said that he had to ration his food. Of course he knew that, but was he…over-rationing his food?
Wind ripped the bag of food open. There was a loaf of bread inside with other canned foods. He took out the bread and ripped a piece off. It was small, no bigger than his finger. He tried to savor it, chewing slowly and letting the bread dissolve in his mouth.
He was still hungry, but he needed to ration. It’s been days since they landed here. What was Warriors doing? Was he eating everyday?
He wouldn’t do that to Wind, right? He wouldn’t purposely give Wind the smaller bag so he could starve, right? He probably gave him the smaller bag because he was a smaller body, right?
Wind tried to focus on the waves and wind instead of his hunger, but it was proving to be a fairly difficult task. His food was right next to him, what would happen if he just…ate.
Wind shook his head. He wouldn’t eat anymore yet.
~~~
Another three days had passed. Wind winced at the green bits on the bread. He had heard once that mold made you sick. Part of him knew that he’d rather be sick than starve. So, he ate another piece and another and another and soon, his bread was gone.
Wind dry heaved, waiting for the bread to come back up, but it didn’t. Now he has cans in his bag.
Have they also gone bad, he wondered with a grimace.
He took out his knife and started poking at a can lid, but before he opened it, he realized what he was doing. He shoved the can away, deciding to eat it another day.
~~~
Wind was out of food. The days stacked up to fifty-six. He ran out of food four days ago and yet, there was still no sign of the ship.
Had the others abandoned him? Had Tetra really done that?
Wind felt tears well in his eyes as his stomach growled.
Did Warriors still have food? He’d lend me some, right?
Part of him was scared that the Captain would get mad at him for not rationing correctly. The other three fourths of him were hungry.
He stood on his feet and was hit with dizziness. He stumbled for a second, struggling to fix his footing. After he collected himself, he started his trek across the island.
Then, he saw Warriors. He stared, something bubbling in his stomach. He couldn’t tell if it was horror, nausea, or disgust.
“Captain? What-“
Warriors must’ve been asleep as he seemed to jerk up. His eyes lit up when he saw Wind. He tried to stand up. “Did you find-!” He promptly fell on his face.
Wind raced to help him back onto the rock he was sitting on. “Did you find a ship? Are they coming?”
Wind shook his head slowly, staring at Wars’s bag of food. It was untouched.
“Why haven’t you touched your food?” Wind stalked towards the bag. Whatever food was in there, it was surely beyond saving or eating.
Warriors chuckled. “If you really want to know, you can check.”
Wind ripped open the bag, getting ready to smell mold and rotten food. Instead, there was gold and jewels.
Wind looked over to Warriors wide eyed. “You…why?”
“I’ve known hunger before. You needed it more than I did anyway.”
“You can’t-“ Wind gasped, finally piecing together the puzzle. He finally understood the reason for that initial horror, nausea, and disgust. He finally realized why Warriors was missing one of his legs. “You…you ate your leg,” Wind whispered. Warriors nodded, looking out to the horizon.
Wind complained for so long about how he got the smaller bag, but the bigger bag didn’t even have food. Knowing that, Warriors gave Wind the actual bag of food. In order to continue living without that food, Warriors ate his leg…
“I’m-“
“Don’t apologize, Sailor. I made that choice. If time rewinded, I’d make it again. I will never regret that decision,” Warriors said.
The two sat at the same side of the island for the longest time. Wind remembered closing his eyes while listening to Warriors hum. The stars were out at the time, shining brightly as if mocking the two heroes. He had surely fallen asleep next to Warriors in minutes. The Captain’s unmarked thigh was warm and soft, like a pillow.
There was ringing, and this time, it wasn’t just in Wind’s ears. Warriors turned toward the sound too. Wind jerked up from his sleep, his head on a swivel.
“Go,” Warriors ordered the boy.
Wind ran. Where he used to sit, sitting on the sand was a ship. Tears threatened to spill at the familiarity of the sail.
“Sailor!” Four jumped off the side of the deck and landed without breaking anything. The rest of the heroes did the same. Even Time. They all came and hugged him, none commenting on how skinny he was.
“What happened to your “old man knees” not being able to do stuff?” Wind joked, stabbing his fingers into Time’s chestplate. Wind felt himself smiling.
“You could say that they-“ Twilight covered Time’s mouth.
“Don’t even. We just found the kid,” He giggled.
Sky rubbed his arm, a nervous tick of his. “Sorry, but is the Captain here too? We really need to find him.”
A lump caught in Wind’s throat. He felt his smile fall and the tears start up again. Wind talked. He told them about the bags and the food and the crushing hungry days and Warriors' leg. They all looked horrified by the end of it.
Time gently patted Wind’s back. “Twilight will help you on the ship and Wild will cook you anything you ask for. The rest of us will help the Captain to the ship, yeah?”
Wind nodded. Wild and Twilight grabbed his hands and started walking toward the ship. When Wind looked back, he saw the others walking the other direction.
For a moment, everything was fine. No. That was a lie. The only thing that was fine was Wild’s rice balls. Everyone loved his rice balls.
