•Y'all know that lion cub interview w/ Bill & Tom? Let's say you were like four(???), and you got to meet a lion cub. Tom would slowly let you walk towards the lion cub, and the cub would sniff around you and lick your face. The camera man is filming this and it's totally becoming a TH TV episode.

•He would be the cause of a couple of cavities... He wouldn't let anything or anyone make you sad or angry, he is protective and can get angry when it comes to you.

•As long as your happy and not hurting yourself, he doesn't mind what you do with your looks, fashion, hair, career, etc.

•He loves dressing you up in his clothes, seeing his baggy jeans swallow your legs, and his headband+hat cover your forehead+eyes.

•If you wanted to get matching clothes, piercings, tattoos, sweatshirts, whatever, he's SO down for it!!

•(Let's say this is the 2023 era) You get along w/ Heidi & Heidi's kids so well! Having Heidi as a step-mom is so relieving. Yes, you have Tom+TH, but you can't always talk to them about periods, hair problems, how awful it (sometimes) is being a girl.

•Again with the spoiling. Tom will buy you anything. A country? It's yours. The sun? Cha-ching. An extremely expensive car? If you can drive, here's the keys.

•He will listen to your opinons and views, if you ever wanted to help him on a song, he is all for it!!

•When he had the dreads, you accidentally chewed on a couple😭

•If you ever get a significant other, he is going to make sure they're the right one, and won't let you get hurt by them.

•He splashes you w/ water at the beach

•He had to raise you practically on his own, so he expects y'all to be close. He had to bathe you, feed you, keep you happy, and he honestly puts you before himself.

•When you were younger, he stayed up all night waiting for you to get up and protecting you if someone wanted to come in and try something.

Help - Tattoos in BLs 2023

I did a quick compilation of Tattoos in BLs for 2022, but this year, I've been slacking, so I thought I'd crowdsource this like the BLs Actors in Drag post.

If you know of any tattoos that weren't featured on the first list, or that have been spotted since, slide into my DMs, please!

I already have my tops so far:

Kiseki's Chen Yi's matching tattoo with his adopted father/boss that depicts a lion with its cub, while his dad's is of a lion with a rose is going on the top of the list

Right next to Never Let Me Go's Palm getting Nueng's name tattooed on him in Mandarin.

I'll have to add Duean's from Fish Upon the Sky (thanks @wen-kexing-apologist) because him and his zodiac sign weren't on the original list.

I might put the Check Out guys on the list this year, but I'm still being petty.

And I think I'm going to have to make a separate post of actors' real tattoos because Mark from Only Friends has three (the bull on his left shoulder, the stingray on his right flank, and some writing on his left bottom torso).

The Chains of Heart's guys with their dramatic asses will be on the list, obviously.

But this dum dum with his misspelled tattoo from Laws of Attraction is the winner.

Did u notice that Chen Yi's lion tattoo have a cub? I remember Nat talked about that tattoo and the cub represent Ai Di. It makes sense that Chen feels like Ai Di is forever his responsibility and he needs to take care of him as bro. And before that night it was hard for him to fathom that Ai Di could be in love with him. Remember that Ai Di is only 18 and to there is 3 years age gap between them. Chen probably see him as a kid still... Be that as it may thank god it's over and now Chen is ready to pursue the love of his life lmao... Because i can't with this heartbreak anymore.

And, yes, that definitely makes sense. Chenyi sees Ai Di as someone he is responsible for and someone he has to protect at all costs. Even if he did love him, he would never let himself because he is responsible for how casually Ai Di approaches death and he knows that if he is the reason Ai Di is in danger he will never recover.

It's the way he feels about Zongyi getting in trouble and the guilt he experiences but it's even stronger with Ai Di because Ai Di is his.

I am looking forward to the pursuit but it is gonna hurt so good.

do we think the adult lion is supposed to represent Dong Yang and the cub is Chen Yi? (because of Dong Yang's rose lion tattoo and it looks like there may be vines on Chen Yi's tattoo?)

or do we think the adult lion is supposed to represent Chen Yi and the cub is Ai Di? (because Chen Yi wants to be like Dong Yang and protects Ai Di)

Something that's been bothering me about Martial Master Asumi lately is Kazuro's stage name, Kaz-Low

Not because it's a bad name necessarily, but because it wasn't making sense to me in Japanese. Aside from maybe which syllable is enunciated, I would think that those names would be pronounced the same, so I wasn't sure what the point of that name was, but I think I may have figured it out

Readers may have noticed that Kazuro has a tattoo of a wolf, the kanji of which can be pronounced "rou." I believe the idea is that Kazuro's birth name uses the kanji "ro," a common suffix to denote a male child, and that his stage name replaces it with "rou," meaning wolf

I caught onto the tattoo pretty much immediately, but I thought at the time that it meant the "ro" in his name was wolf, not realizing that it might be a part of his persona

Once I realized that Kazuro had a wolf theme, I started to wonder what theme Asumi would have; would he also be a wolf? A cub? A lion? Would he have any animal theme?

Fortunately, Kawada decided to make it nice and simple for me: as Grandpa says, "[Asumi's] fear doesn't stop him from leaping. Just like a rabbit." His first name, Nito, translates to two rabbits, and jumping has actually been central to his imagery from the beginning. He jumps in fear whenever he's startled, he hops to psych himself up for fights, and now his signature move is a flying knee. Even those two tufts of hair resemble rabbit ears now that I think of it

I'm sure it doesn't need to be said that wolves and rabbits are perfect thematic foils, one being predator and the other prey, one being a hunter and the other a skittish coward, etc. Now the question is whether Asumi is going to stay a rabbit and use the unique traits of that theme to his advantage, or if he's going to reveal that there's a wolf inside of himself after all

Frick I’m so bad at recognizing and remembering faces and appearances and I’m trying to put together who is who in your drawings and it’s painful for me. It’s not your art that’s making me confused, it’s my own brain :( Sometimes I have to wait to hear my brother’s voice to know who he is. Sometimes I have to see how my brother’s girlfriend acts when she puts on makeup to know if I recognize her. I kinda have to rely on same hair styles or accessories like jewelry in order to recognize things/people sometimes.

It’s also okay if this is too much to ask, but could the black sheep maybe have accessories that could help keep track of who is who? Maybe the accessories could be the only thing of color besides the text? Ex. Lil lion having a hair band or hair clip that is dark yellow. Lil Al Asim having some kind of body tattoo/ink that’s dark red around their neck area. Things that’ll fit into their character but also the colors being that of their brothers’ dorms? Again, it’s totally okay if this is too much! It’s just hard for me to keep track of things >.<

so gonna address their skin color first. i made their skin a bit more gray to mimic how the overblot characters look? i mean, they live on the same floor as the overblot monsters so i feel like it makes sense for their appearance to also be affected by them?

also!! their flame hair is dimmer than idia and ortho's! i thought it'd make sense for it to be like that to mimic a sort of dimmer light? like how they're slowly deteriorating or smth. ++they have an ahoge that i wanna draw in diff poses depending on their emotions >:)

gave them a mask that kinda mimic ink/blot? wanna stick with that motif for them :)

so i wanted to keep a close resemblance to malleus? bc i feel like the idea a lot of people have come with where lil draconia doesn't entirely understand that their related despite their very obvious similar appearances.

the main factor i wanted to tell them apart from the others was lil scale like things on their face? idk i just liked the idea while browsing for refs. it was that or!! more branch-like horns?? idk we'll see :)

Greyson was born in Queens, NYC and lived with his mother April. She raised him alone and the two were very close.

When Grey was in his teens his mother remarried to Mark Rivers. Mark and his son Liam came to live with Greyson and his mother.

Do witch clexas have a familiar?

I have thought about it before and have decided they don't. With the different types of magic and how they intercept with each of theirs chosen profession and well as the whole covens history, I decided to keep familiars out.

Clarke does rather love lions and has them as a protecting animal symbol of sorts. She has one tattooed on her as if it's stained glass, and if she lifts her shirt and lets the light hits it it will shine as one. Jake used to call her his little lion because a little Clarke could always be found butt naked in the garden, lazying in the sun trying to absorb as much power as she could and when he told her to get inside she'd make a noise that reminded him of a little lion cub :)

Lexa has a little humming bird that goes around her shop. People never know it if real or not, but it's always there, going from flower to flower. Her garden always had so many of them when she was a kid. She adores them. Is it real? Yes. Is it magic? Also, yes :) It's absolutely gorgeous too, could make you stare at it for hours and it trusts Lexa fully!
