[Lio] on the fucking Lord. If my subsystem gets another t/az facet. I’ll be like what the fuck
#lio tazblogging#liolog#=I have NO clue what keeps making our brain grab on to mackleboys characters like. what is happening here#=do we enjoy the podcast Yes is it our favorite thing ever no. and yet#=ok I can’t say I have no clue. I have a hypothesis#=the tldr of said hypothesis is this: we always have been very affected by audio#=AND we have hyperfantasia which means we always always are mentally visualizing things#=I think this probably leads to a lot of: if we are listening to something narrative that has no predetermined visuals and relies on#spoken description#=then we are going to naturally interpret said audio medium through our mental lens#=which is also what we use to interact in headspace and to envision ourselves#=so for this reason I think audio affects us significantly.#=this is probably why music and musical trance and musical triggers are so effective at getting us to switch or affecting the system in#other ways#=and why one of the things that tends to clue us in to the difference in imagination and a new headmate or facet is that they have their#own voice and can be affected by music#=anyways basically#=if the brain starts coalescing something and it needs to grab something to attach it to#=then an external concept that has a visual component that it knows and already vibes with (since we also are affected by visuals a lot)#=is probably a very easy concept for it to start incorporating#=not that it’s always the case and not that it happens every time but i think it’s probably just kind of easier based on how our brain works#=anyways. tldr ummm so. montrose.#=I’m getting the fucking. the vibes. the ping. getting the Resonance from him#=It feels like the facet vibes. but I can’t tell for sure rn#=the elder mackledbrother really said. hi. this story has killer animatronics who are stalking you now.#=and fucking montrose has some sort of animatronic thing going on and it’s like. oh ok.#=those deep crevices of my soul are not extinguished I see. feeling some sort of way#=we will fucking See!

A list of some alterhuman identities and groups (cut version)
About this article
This article is a five-minute read. It gives definitions and sources about (in alphabetical order) alterhumans, constelics, daemons, dragons, endels, furries, fictionfolk, nonhumans, otherkin, plural systems, therianthropes, tulpas, and vampires. These alterhuman community historians, archivists, and writers wrote this article together in August and September 2023: Orion Scribner, House of Chimeras, Page Shepard, Dinocanid, Ryuu Yumemoto, Draconic Wizard Workshop, and others. You have permission to repost this article, if you keep the list of authors, don't change what the article says, and don't use it for money. Alterhumans
In 2014, Lio of the Crossroads System created this word as an umbrella term and identity for anyone who feels they have an identity beyond the scope of how one might typically think of “being human.”^1 Later, the alterhuman advocacy group Alt+H popularized this word. According to the coiner and Alt+H, it includes but is not limited to nonhumans.^2 Some groups who can opt-in to considering themselves under the alterhuman umbrella are otherkin, therianthropes, fictionfolk, plural systems, daemians, vampires, voluntary identities, furries, and more.^3 This umbrella is very broad because its purpose is to give these communities something to unite under without erasing their distinctions.^4
Constelic
Coined by Extranth in 2021, a person who is constelic identifies with or as one or more entities, objects, concepts, species, items, or characters throughout their life.^5 A constelic may collect or hoard any number of these identities for any number of reasons, as their identities are non-inherent and are considered to be entirely extrinsic.^6 Constels may be voluntary or involuntary identities,^7 and can be intense or casual, but they are often non-permanent.^8
Daemians and daemons
Daemians are people who have daemons, which are most often described as mental constructs or a part of an individual’s consciousness which has been assigned a unique gender, form, and personality.^9 Some daemians consider themselves plural.^10 Their community started in 2002, inspired by Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials fantasy novel trilogy.^11
Dragons
The dragon community started in the 1990s in an online group called alt.fan.dragons.^12 They identify as dragons for spiritual or psychological reasons. They are draconic, and they refer to this part of themselves as their draconity.^13 In the 2000s, the dragon community started to mingle with the other communities: with dragon otherkin (dragonkin)^14 and dragon therians.^15
Endels
Mental health experts say that being alterhuman isn’t the same as being mentally ill.^16 For alterhumans who do have mental illnesses, that can be an important part of their everyday life and their sense of self. Endel is a word for alterhuman identities that are rooted in or greatly influenced by delusion. Babydog coined this word in 2021, by and for delusional alterhumans.^17
Furries
The furry fandom is a large subculture that began at sci-fi conventions in the 1980s.^18 It’s for creating and enjoying art, stories, costumes, and roleplay about fictional human-like (anthropomorphic) animal characters, called furries. Many fandom participants choose to represent themselves as their furry persona (fursona), which can be just for fun, though it can be meaningful about who they are.
Fictionfolk
Fictionfolk is an umbrella term for many sorts of identities that come partly or wholly from fiction.^19 Fictionkin identify as characters or species from fiction,^20 and their community started in the early 2000s.^21 A plural system member with origins from fiction is a fictive, which psychologists call a fictional introject.^22 When someone has the brief experience of becoming someone or something from fiction, that’s a fictionflicker, which psychologists call experience-taking.^23
Nonhumans
An umbrella term for those of us who identify as partly or wholly not human: therianthropes, otherkin, and more. Many nonhumans opt to include themselves under the alterhuman umbrella.
Otherkin
Otherkin are elves, dragons, or other beings, usually from mythology. It’s always an important part of who they are throughout their lives, not role-play for fun.^24 The community started in the Elfinkind Digest mailing list in 1990, when they started calling themselves otherkind or otherkin.^25 Their reasons for being otherkin are often spiritual, for example, from reincarnation.^26 However, otherkin is not a religion.^27
Plural systems
Plurality (or multiplicity) is an umbrella term for all experiences and identities in which more than one entity, consciousness, or pseudo-consciousness exists within one physical body,^28 for systems who are or can be diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder (DID), formerly called multiple personality disorder (MPD), as well as systems who do not meet those diagnostic criteria. Plurality and multiplicity as terms have always been inclusive of systems regardless of their origin or diagnoses.^29 Some plural systems have members who aren’t human or who are fictional characters or species.^30 Multiplicity can be an interchangeable synonym for plurality, or multiplicity can mean a form of plurality in which more than one person, self, or identity is within a single body.^31
Therianthropes
Therianthropes are people who have a lifelong identification as a certain species of animal on an integral, personal level.^32 Some are other species than animals from Earth.^33 The therian community started in 1993 in an online group, alt.horror.werewolves.^34 They developed jargon about shapeshifting to describe feeling more animal-like at some times. These changes are mental or spiritual, not physical.^35 Some have sensations of phantom limbs.^36 Some feel consistently animal-like at all times.^37 In the late 1990s and early 2000s, therians started mingling with the otherkin community.^38
Tulpas and tulpamancers
A tulpamancer is someone who practices tulpamancy, which is the act of creating tulpas.^39 A tulpa is an autonomous conscious entity who shares the body and brain of their creator.^40 Tulpamancy is often considered to be a part of the plurality umbrella.^41
Vampire Community
The vampyre or vampire community (VC) is for people who identify as vampires and require sustenance.^42 Those who drain energy are energy vampires or psi-vampires.^43 Sanguinarians drink blood.^44 Hybrid vampires need both.^45 Vampire lifestylers and donors are in the VC, too.^46
None of the above
Some participants of our communities are not themselves alterhumans. However, they’re here because they’re curious, or they’re our friends, family, and partners.

My mutual @alectricblue tagged me in this game tag! I normally dont do these, but I thought it'd be nice to get to know me more (and also meet y'all if you wish to participate)!
It will be long though. Sorry
1. Were you named after anyone?
Was originally gonna be named Andrea after a ballerina my grandma liked! Sadly no one remembered her well, not even grandma, so I don't know much about her.
My deadname was simply just chosen bc it was easy to pronounce, as well as my chosen name Diego (it's what I would've been called had I been male), although when I chose it for myself I liked the JoJo character Diego Brando so there was some correlation there.
Funnily enough, people think I'm nicknamed Lio after the Promare character, but I hadn't met them yet.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday. At 11pm. Watching OR3O's One Piece song. It was nostalgic ok
3. Do you have kids?
Nope. There's an absurd amount of reasons I don't want them, although not a single one is because I dislike them. I've had to babysit many kids and they've all been very sweet.
4. What sports do you play/have you played?
Oof, my recent sports is taking my dog for a walk. But I used to like volleyball and kickball! And reluctantly played soccer and did swimming! Sports give me a lot of anxiety and i'm not sure why.
5. Do you use sarcasm?
I do a lot of teasing and lighthearted banter that can sometimes be considered sarcasm?
6. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Their eyes! Or anything outstanding like cool hairstyles or visible tattoos.
With online people, I mostly recognize them by pfp or a vague mental pronunciation of their username.
7. What's your eye color?
Dark brown?? Or black??
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Honestly, whatever makes me think more. Unhappy endings tend to do that more though, so I guess scary movies! But of course it depends on the mood, sometimes I just want a nice story to cheer me up.
9. Any talents?
I've been told I am talented at the piano! And music in general, although most of my skills feel less like talent and more like just studying the thing.
10. Where were you born?
So I was born in the US, in Florida, but my entire family is from Costa Rica and I just happened to be born while my parents were studying abroad. I don't remember much from the US though, I came back to CR with my grandma in my first months because she was less busy than my parents, and then they came to live here again. So in my eyes I've been a true Costa Rican since always hehe
11. What are your hobbies?
Playing the piano! Also drawing sometimes (I like to color more than draw, but unless I get my hands on a coloring book I can't do that unless I draw), playing videogames (mostly RPGs and visual novels), and doomscrolling.
12. Do you have any pets?
YESSSS my beloved dog Mia!!!!!!!!!!! I love her so much, she escaped her abusive home and we found her while walking around a plaza, said hi, and she followed us home. She's been with us for 8 years now and I adore her. Reference below because how can I not show her off:
Tumblr media
13. How tall are you?
Excellent question. I forgot but I'm average if that helps!
14. Favorite subject in school?
It changed over the years, in senior year it was English because we had my favorite teacher! I knew him for years because he has a literature club I partook in, so I was very happy to have classes with him. Plus, we saw the Oresteia, which goes tremendously hard especially when your teacher geeks out about all the symbolisms.
Apart from that, computer class! We barely ever had it, and almost had it cut out entirely in senior year, but the few times we did I really enjoyed programming and practicing typing! And when we didn't do anything we could play so.
15. Dream job?
I want to make my own videogame! So I'd say a game developer, although being a part of any videogame, especially RPGs, would be a dream come true.
Well thank you for reading, I hope that was some insight, it was very fun to reply!

The Spiral [Lio Meier] - Part 1
Tumblr media
A/N: I have been working on this for weeks. But this past weekend this was the only WIP I worked on. I ate, slept and drank Lio Meier’s downfall. It dominated every waking hour. But I am really proud of this one. Whew! I was in the writing trenches bbys! But here it is, in all its glory. The time when everything in Lio’s life blows up.
I have some very specific warnings below. This is a deep one, layered, and may be difficult to read for some. Please consume your content carefully 😘
Warnings: Childhood trauma (mental/psychological), a lot of mentions and insinuations of abortion, VERY angsty, drinking/ drunk Lio.
Word Count:4.1k
Crackles and pops of the bonfire embers are highlighted by the inky Swiss night surrounding the Meier and Hischier families on a cool summer evening.
“Maybe like thirty seconds left.” Timo murmurs to Lio as he turns over the marshmallow hanging from the fire stick.
“LuLu and I are going to eat these in the tree house.” Lio announces, leaning back into his dad’s chest.
“Okay.” Timo chuckles, squeezing his son tight to him for a hug. “What do you think now? Is it done?”
“It’s gonna fall.”
“Yeah, we should pull it out.” Timo agrees. “Can you get the graham crackers and chocolate?” Lio does. Together, they work the marshmallow off onto the awaiting ingredients. Lio loves summer in Switzerland. He eats his whole body weight in s’mores with Swiss chocolate. His mama is right. American chocolate is not the same.
“No Reeses cups today?” Timo asks.
“No.” Lio says, pressing the crackers together, careful not to break them.
“Mmm, who are you? Mama usually can’t keep Reeses stocked for you.” Timo chuckles.
“That’s only in Jersey.” Lio says, bringing the s’more up to his lips. He bites into the gooey and delectable treat. He grins at his dad, having no idea his face is already covered in chocolate. “Best one yet.”
“Good. Enjoy, buddy. Livy, come here and daddy will make a s’more with you.” Lio books it off to the back corner of their spacious yard in Switzerland, where his best friend and cousin, Lucie Hischier, awaits for him.
“You take too long.” Lucie quips, annoyed.
“Your marshmallow is burned to a crisp.” Lio scoffs in response
“I like it!” She grins holding up her sticky fingers. She already ate one of the two she made. They both giggle as Lio sits down next to her. They eat in content silence. From their spot in the tree house, they can see down to their whole family mingling together around the warm fire.  Mack and Livy are with Timo making s’mores the long way like Lio did. “When we grow up, are we gonna live by each other?” Lucie wonders.
“Yeah, LuLu. Maybe by then you’ll have patience.” Lucie may be Uncle Nico’s daughter, but she is nothing like him. Lio thinks if Lucie played hockey, she would spend most of her time in the penalty box.
“I have patience.” She squints. “Maybe we will live here full time.” If Lio’s mama had it her way, they already would. Lio shrugs. He likes both places they live, but it would be nice to see their grandparents more. “I wanna grow up and have lots of babies after I get married.”
“Yeah. Like our parents.”
“Well, like my parents” Lucie shrugs. Lio licks the bit of marshmallow clinging to his fingers.
“My parents are married?”
“Yeah, but your parents had you before they got married…” Lucie tilts her head at him.
“Well that’s cause they couldn’t wait to get married to have me.” Lio says matter of fact. “They wanted me first cause they didn’t want to have a baby during the season.”
Lucie anxiously bites her lip, glancing again at where their parents are sitting by the bonfire.
“That’s not what I heard.” Little Lucie doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal. So she says “I heard my dad tell my mom that Auntie Em only moved to Jersey because of you. That she didn’t want to leave her life in Switzerland and he isn’t sure they would have ever gotten married or been together without you.”
Lio stares blankly back at Lucie. His little blue eyes lift beyond his smaller cousin where she munches innocently away on her s’more. His eyes crawl up the wood boards to where they had carved their initials inside on the first day they were allowed up here. From there, he moves to his parents laughing together at the bonfire. His mom is holding Livy’s s’more as she takes cautions bites. They never told him that. Lucie must be wrong.
“No, I don’t think that is what happened. You heard wrong.” Lio tries. His voice sounds small and far away to him because his heartbeat is pounding so hard through his head.
“I guess Uncle Timo had told daddy he didn’t want any kids.” Lucie didn’t hear her dad say the full sentence- Uncle Timo didn’t want kids without Emma. So her innocent repeat paints a different picture. “Guess he had to change his mind.”
Lio Meier is only 10 years old, but the whole world shifts under him from that moment forward.
- - -
A decade and a half later, Lio Meier slumps low on the couch in his parent’s living room in Switzerland. His right hand rubs at the splitting headache in the center of his forehead, while his left holds a glass of expensive whiskey from his dad’s collection. If his parents are going to sit him down for an intervention, he is not doing it sober. He brings the glass to his lips, sucking down a big gulp as his mom and dad walk into the room. They’re already on their good cop, bad cop shit. Lio sniffs, rolling his eyes as they sit down in front of him.
Emma purses her lips at her son’s obvious contempt at being called home. But what she is hearing around town is concerning. Rumors swirl in their little mountain village that he has… followed in the family footsteps? Maybe? That some nice, Swiss girl he went to school with has wound up pregnant after a night with him. Apparently, when the girl told Lio, he tossed a few bills of cash at her and told her to take care of it. Emma isn’t quite sure how things came to be this way with Lio. She hopes to find out in this conversation.
Timo sits next to his wife, fingers clasped together, silent as he stares at his son. Lio is unrecognizable today, really since he returned home from his last season. Him and Emma knew something happened in Jersey. Lio didn’t elaborate and Lucie was vague to Emma when she asked. The other concern is this being a reaction to his lack of success so far in his professional career. A Stanley Cup seems lightyears away for the franchise again.
“We just gonna stare at each other all day?” Lio turns his hands up in annoyance at them.
“Lio.” Timo warns.
“What? You two called me here and now you’re holding me hostage in silence.”
“Honestly, I’m trying to find the right words to say to you.” Emma begins, shaking her head. “I’m hearing things.” She finally settles on. “And I’d like to hear from you if they are true.”
“Depends on what you heard.” Lio reaches for the whiskey glass again. Timo’s laser blue eyes watch him gulp down the brown liquid.
“Why don’t you put that back down.” Lio pauses with the glass on his lips. His dad stares him down. Timo wasn’t asking; he was telling. Lio puts the glass back on the coaster with a loud ping.
“I heard… someone in this town may be pregnant with your baby.”
“Maybe she was. I don’t know.” Lio waves it off with a flick of his fingers. He puts those same fingers back on his splitting headache.
“What do you mean maybe and I don’t know?” Timo asks. “Those seem like things you should be pretty fucking sure about.”
“Her and I talked a few days ago. I gave her money to take care of it. It’s handled. You aren’t grandparents.” Emma’s spine snaps to attention.
“What?”
“I told her-“
“I heard what you said.” Emma seethes, getting visibly angry. “So your approach was to tell her to take care of it? Instead of taking ownership of your choices?”
“Look, I’m not having a kid. I know you two made the choice to ruin your lives by having me, but I’m not following in your idiotic footsteps.”
“Excuse me?” Timo scoffs at his son incredulously. “You’re going to judge our choices right now?” He doesn’t see the way his wife is retreating in on herself. It has been over 15 years since Emma last felt judged about getting pregnant with Lio. But her son is now facing a similar situation and his contempt towards her stings. Small tears fill her brown eyes as she watches Lio and Timo jaw back and forth. Timo gets louder. Lio sits up in the chair. Soon, they’re both standing. This is not how she saw this conversation going.
“We are so disappointed in you right now.” Timo shakes his head, exhaling heavily. His cheeks are tight, lips pursed angrily. Emma stands, dashing between the men, one hand on each of their chests.
“Disappointed?” Lio spits, lip curling in disgust. “She was trying to ruin my life by getting pregnant. All she wanted was my money and to take away the best years of my career like mom did to you, by turning you into the family man you didn’t want to be. I had to protect myself and I would do it again in an instant.”
Shock stills the living room. Timo forgets his son completely. His hands go to Emma, wincing as she retreats from his touch.
“I never said that.” Timo says immediately to his wife. “Those are his words, not mine, baby.” Timo turns, snarling back at Lio. “Where do you get off?”
“Me!? You made a mistake having me!” Lio screams at his dad. “It’s why you lied to me about it for so long! So I fixed that for us by not doing it all over again!” Angry tears wreak havoc in Lio’s blue eyes. Timo’s face collapses into a twisted frown at the obvious, intense pain on his son’s face.
“Lee…” Timo trails off.
“I know all about it. I’ve known since I was ten years old that you two didn’t actually want me. You didn’t plan for me or pray for me or wish for me. I was a mistake.” Every moment Timo and Emma uttered their little white lie runs through each of their minds. They never wanted Lio to feel unwanted. They didn’t think the fudging of the truth was hurtful or would cause any damage. But they also didn’t realize their son had known the truth since he was ten years old. Each lie for the last 15 years has chipped away at Lio. Now, being in the same circumstances as his parents, he has reached his boiling point in their living room.
“No. Lio-” Emma starts, voice shuddering with her emotions.
“You shouldn’t of had me.” Lio looks directly at Emma. “You should have pulled the plug when you had a chance and lived your life here the way you wanted to. You ruined everyone’s lives. You choose to have me and dad felt obligated to take care of us.”
“You don’t get to speak down to me about choices that gave you life because your recklessness is trying to make you accountable.” Emma’s previously silent rage explodes through the room as she steps around Timo. “Get out of my house.” She jabs her pointer finger into Lio’s sternum.
“Fuck you guys.” Lio spits out at them.
Timo leans forward to go after their son for his disgusting display of disrespect. But Emma’s shocked whimper stops any more forward progress. The house shakes at the timber of Lio slamming door.
“We wanted him.” Emma whispers to Timo, big tears raining down from her brown eyes. “We never lied about that. He thinks…” She puts her hand over her mouth and begins to sob.
Timo doesn’t say it, but he knows what Emma would say if she could speak.
Lio believes his parents love him out of obligation.
And he has for the last 15 years.
- - -
After the fall out with his parents, Lio heads into town and grabs a post-shift beer with Liv, who obviously has not heard from their parents about what is up. Quickly, Liv leaves to head back to her and Luca’s place for an at-home date night.
“We are going to paint headshots of each other.” Liv giggles, knowing Luca is a shit painter. She can’t wait to see how wonderfully bad it is. Lio would rather burn his eyebrows off than do dopey shit like that with a girl.
Lio sticks around town, ignoring the looks and whispers that follow him. He’s had people talking about him in some way or another his whole life. He not going to start giving a shit about it now.
One beer turns into 6, which turns into 3 shots of whiskey too, until he is drunk enough to relax from the confrontation with his parents. He wanders his way back towards home, stopping at Lucie and Connor’s lake house to check in on his favorite little girl. Stella Wood sleeps on her dad’s chest in the living room where he is continuing to watch mindless, toddler TV.
“The show getting good?” Lio quips.
“Fuck no. But the remote is tucked into the cushion and I can’t get it without waking her up. She’s been a Tasmanian Devil today.” Lucie snorts in the kitchen where she is wiping the stone counter off. “And if I wake her up, hot stuff in the kitchen is going to be very unhappy with me.”
“You were the one who gave her cotton candy.” Lucie calls.
“Yeah, that was a bad idea. You were right, baby.” Connor looks at Lio. “Fun though.” Lio chuckles, collapsing into the big reclining chair across from them.
“You want a beer?” Lucie asks, walking in with three beer bottles.
“Yeah.” Lio sighs, happy to have the coldness in his grip. He pops the top, taking two big glugs. Lucie goes to sit between Connor’s thighs curling her legs up to her chest as she takes a sip of beer.
“So… what’s new?” Lucie asks with insinuation. Lio looks away from where he is stroking his thumb over the raised words of his bottle. Their eyes connect and he knows Lucie has heard the same rumors his parents have. Probably from her parents.
“Same shit, different day.” Lio takes another pull from the bottle. Lucie, ever the mom now, holds her calm presence. “Had a little fun last month that caught up with me.” He widens his eyes, thinking again of the conversation with Isabella a few days ago. His stomach had dropped from his body and he choked on his beer. He thought they were going to have a drink and head back to his place. Not have a bombshell explode his whole life in three words.
“What are you going to do?” Lucie asks.
“Nothing. She did something about it.”
“Oh.” Lucie takes another sip of her beer. A slight crinkle appears in her forehead.
“Yeah and apparently now I’m not welcome at my parents’ house.”
“Really?” Connor asks as he smooths over Stella’s wild, brown curls.
“Yeah… things got a little heated today and they didn’t like what I had to say. Apparently holding a mirror up is not appreciated in this family.” Lio takes another sip. “Like, I get they made whatever decision they did with me, but I didn’t ask to be born, and they shouldn’t get pissed at me for not wanting to continue in their bastard child tradition.” Lucie flinches at the harshness of his comment. She’s never liked that word, especially not now after having their child before her and Connor were married.
“What mirror?” Lucie inquires.
“Just that my dad didn’t want kids and was forced into it when my mom got pregnant with me. Or that my mom wanted to stay in Switzerland and couldn’t because of her choice to have me. My dad’s career was never the same after I was born, so that decision cost them a lot career and money wise. This was a mistake I could fix so I did. They could be more grateful for preventing a rinse and repeat.”
The room is silent for a moment as Lio’s words fall between all of them. The TV is the only disruption. Lio tilts his beer bottle back, hoping the liquid will wash down the awkward air in the room.
“You are a fucking moron. Your parents are doing really well and your family is great, Lee. Happy and healthy.” Connor shakes his head. Lio’s out-there way of thinking about being domestic in any situation is once again rearing it’s ugly head. No wonder he lost Savannah. She’s better off without this version of Lio anyway.
“LuLu gets it.” Lio motions to his cousin.
“No, Lee…. I don’t think I do.” Lucie straightens. “Because from what you’re telling me, I’ve also ruined an NHL player’s life, and stole his best years from him, by getting pregnant with his baby for the money.”
“Luc.” Lio chuckles, shaking his head. “It’s not like you were playing baby roulette with just anyone. Connor was already a millionaire.” Lucie instantly looks taken aback, which confuses Lio because the three of them have definitely joked about this before.
“Oh, so that’s what all the girls in your life have in common? We’re all just gold-digging whores? The girl you knocked up who you told to take care of it? And your mama who wrecked your dad’s life by choosing to have you? And me who found the most expensive rookie in the league to knock me up?” Technically Lio was that year, but that is neither here nor there. Lio is frustrated by the way Lucie is stuffing words into his mouth.
“At least the one that stuck wasn’t Marco’s. But I’m sure you would of taken care of that one. Not enough commas in his bank account.”
“Alright. Time out.” Connor shakes his head, recognizing how drunk Lio is. Things are about to turn ugly and he doesn’t want to have to time his catch of Lucie’s hand when it inevitably winds up to slap her cousin.
“That is so fucked up, Lio.” Lucie snaps, putting her beer down on the end table with a slam.
“No what is fucked up is that you didn’t take my advice after you two broke up.” He gestures between Lucie and Connor.
“Oh my god.” Lucie gasps, covering her mouth with her hand. The room goes still as tears fill her big brown eyes. She winces, like she is realizing something she never has before. “When I came to stay with you, you told me you would take care of everything. That if Connor and I couldn’t work it out, you and I would figure it out. All this time, I thought that meant you would take care of us. We would be our own family….” Her eyebrows furrow. “But you hoped I wouldn’t pick this at all.”
“Wait, what?” Connor asks, turning to his wife. He looks across the room at Lio who’s eyes are widening.
Of course Connor knows it was Lucie’s choice, always her choice. It was early in her pregnancy when the infamous hit happened. Lucie could have… made a different choice. Connor thinks about how safe it felt for her to be with Lio during that time. Then a cold shiver rolls down his spine, wondering if Lio was really in Lucie’s ear telling her not to go through with it. Did he give her money? Offer to drive her to the clinic? Promise to never tell Connor what happened? It was a miscarriage, Con. I’m so sorry. Connor’s blue eyes darken with storm clouds as his daughter stirs slightly against his chest. What lengths would Lio have gone to cover up their mistake like he is trying to do with his right now?
“Did you tell Lucie to get rid of our daughter?” Connor’s voice is tight as he asks the words he has to. Lio flinches.
“What?”
“Did you tell Lucie to not have Stell?” Connor repeats louder, more firm. Lucie glances nervously between the two men. Connor laughs in disbelief at Lio’s panicked face.
“I told Lucie I would support whatever choice she wanted to make… that she didn’t have to do this if she didn’t want to. She was really scared.” Lio points to Lucie generally like she isn’t in the room. She is hearing his words from a completely different perspective than three years ago. “I know that sounds bad now because Stell is here and we love her, but at the time, Lucie needed to hear that she had options.”
“Yeah and the option you proposed to her was to end her pregnancy.”
“It was mentioned, yes. But there was also adoption or raising Stell alone or… this. What you two have now.”
“Alone!?” Connor stutters out. “So, what if she wanted to raise Stell without me?”
“As I said, I was supportive of whatever Lucie wanted to do.” Connor inhales sharply.
“You need to leave, Lio.” Connor stands, passing their whole world over to his wife on the couch. He smooths Stella’s hair down as she cuddles into Lucie’s shoulder. Connor feels his knees almost give out in pain. What would life be like without Stell? Without her soft kisses and baby giggles and huge hugs when he comes home from the road. How could Lio have supported a life for Stell without Connor? Or a life without her ever existing to begin with?
“I just wanted to support her! Why is that bad?” Lio’s heart is in his throat now, as Connor slowly steps forward.
“What would be good about Lucie wanting to raise Stella without me? You were going to be daddy to my kid? You are right about one thing tonight, you’d be a shit fucking dad, Lio.”
“I…” Lio never thought about any of these scenarios in depth. He really just wanted to show up for Lucie. And Lucie chose Connor so quickly it didn’t seem to matter.
“Would you have told me?”
“W-what?” Lio puts his beer down, moving to sit up straighter. He swallows nervously.
“Would you, my best friend, have told me I had a daughter?” Lio is silent. He doesn’t know what to say. He doesn’t know if he would have. Lucie was so scared and had held so tightly to his shirt those two weeks she had lived with him. He would have protected her, but that doesn’t feel like the right answer to reiterate now. Lio looks at Lucie, needing her to step in and say something. Her eyes are lined with betrayed tears, looking at him like she isn’t sure who he even is. Why have people been looking at him like this lately? What the fuck is going on?
“Luc…?”
“You’re a fucking coward, Lio. Anyone who thinks our daughter shouldn’t be here doesn’t get the privilege of being in our lives. Get out. You are no longer welcome here.” Lio tries to speak.
“Get. The fuck. Out!” Connor bellows, hands tightened into fists at his sides. Stell startles. She wakes up, immediately sensing the tension in the room and begins to cry. Connor turns away from Lio, rushing back to his wife and daughter.
“It’s okay, Stell. You’re okay. Mommy and daddy are here.” Connor gathers her back from Lucie. He turns back to Lio. “I’m not fucking asking you again.”
Lio stands, leaving his half full beer bottle. He rips the front door open and leaves the second home he’s been kicked out that day.
- - -
The next morning, a ping wakes Lio. He wants it all to be a bad dream, but the raw realness of what happened yesterday mars his body with physical aches and pains, including a hell of a hangover. He groans as he grabs his phone, pulling it to his face. He squints, seeing a new text awaiting him from an unsaved number.
Hi Lio, It’s Isabella. I went to the clinic and they told me I’m not pregnant. It was a false positive. Guess we dodged a bullet.
Lio stares at the text, watching his cursor blink in anticipation of him responding. He doesn’t.
Dodged a bullet? Then why does it feel like he is still bleeding out.

The Lio convoy and hopeless peaches situation is getting worse and worse due to leaked audios. Not only is Lio convoy and hopeless peaches are the culprit of many horrendous things, but members of "The Senate" as well. The only problem is how many members of "The Senate" are the culprits and who are the members of "The Senate".
The first leaked audio was one where "The Senate" (a group comprised of over 20+ commentary members, led and moderated by Lio convoy and hopeless peaches as second in command) verbally harass a 30-year-old autistic woman who cannot live on her own due to her disability and needed her mom as her caregiver. Lio convoy withheld information that she is autistic but is 30 years and lived with her mother. The call was made due to the woman being a mod for a discord group chat that had a grooming incident, and she doesn't do anything about it. She would constantly ignore it due to stress. Even though she is a mod, there is no proof of how much power she can have as a mod. If she did, she would need permission from the creator of the discord group to remove groomers from the chat. Lio convoy and his senate group never contacted the creator of the discord group about the situation, which makes the call even more meaningless. The group call comprised of all members of the senate screaming at the woman; that's right all 20+ members screaming at a 30-year-old autistic woman for 3+ hours. Loveless peaches make threats of calling her mom, Lovelycoyote (before being kicked by the senate due to his association with Hypnosappo) was calling her the r slur 12 twelve times, members like Misanthro/Zaid Magenta (that's right the pink pony that was also kicked from the senate) making insults of how she is 30-year-old who can't live on her own and lives with her mom (caregiver) and about her bodyweight, and Lio convoy constantly asking questions without giving her time to answer them. The call ended with her crying and leaving the chat. This caused Ponder Sprocket to come to chat and berate the whole senate, telling them what they did was fucked up. Lovelycoyote was ok with repeatedly calling her the r slur because it was funny (the fact Lio convoy was ok with this and didn't kick him out until the Hypnosappo incident is very concerning). Many members tried to justify to Ponder Sprocket of what they did wasn't that bad. Lio Convoy complain how Sprocket isn't directly talking to him about the problems with the chat since he is the creator and the controller of the senate. He even added in that if any members had problems with how the senate operations you should just tell him. HarleyTBS, one of the quiet members who did not participate the verbal abuse call, voiced his concerns about the mob mentality the senate has and if someone were to make a complain, then everyone would jump on them and call them a pedo sympathizer. (This is true because literally 20+ members yelled at a heavily disabled woman and called her pedo sympathizer for 3+ hours) Hopeless peaches stay quiet the whole beratement despite being the most vocal in the verbal harassment and was directly criticized by Ponder about them making threats of calling her mom.
The second leaked audio was leaked by Hopeless Peaches without the groomed victim's permission. Hopeless peaches try to make a google docs accusing him of the many wrongs he did and include the audio as an example. Hopeless peaches created the docs in hopes to push all hate towards Lio Convoy and avoid the hate pushed onto them despite contributing the many wrongs done by both of them. They added the leaked audio to show they are an unwilling complicit and would "defend the victim". The groomed victim is question was groomed by a guy who wanted to groom another minor, the victim gave information of the minor. But later on, she regrets it and told the Lio Convoy and the senate what she had done. In the past, Lio Convoy and his senate helped this groomed victim. However, in this call, he proceeds to scream and berate her for going back to her groomer despite all the help they did. Even though she was a minor at the time and her insecurities led her back to groomer. The victim had a condition where they cannot be yelled at or else it triggers her conditions, which gives her cardiac arrest like symptoms. The senate did care and yelled at her as much as they can. Lio Convoy screamed the loudest about how busy he is helping groomed victims and what she did jeopardizes it as all the time is wasted on this call instead of helping groomed victims. While being screamed at, the victim hoped not to be disappointed by Queen Serafina, a commentator who is another member of "The Senate" and friends with Lio Convoy and Hopeless peaches. (This is scary because anyone is part of the senate are also culprits, which makes me not trust anyone at all. It's also like nearly the entire commentary community is part of it.) Because the victim is a lesbian and her groomer is a man, Lio Convoy proceed to call her straight and not actually a lesbian for going back to her male groomer. He even said how the victim should know better now she is 18 despite just turning 18 a half a year old and was groomed at the age of 17. This was when Hopeless Peaches interjects and told Lio Convoy not to associate what had happened to her as a minor with what is happening now.
.......Jesus fucking christ...
I'm a little surprised that people are just finding out about the beratement calls. I've watched some of the earlier streams from The Senate and they all pretty much do the same thing. They even call what they do "internet bloodsports" and tell people if they can't handle being yelled at and berated on the regular to not join. Hell I've had my own run-ins with Lio both over chat and in a private call.
I've always personally seen Lio as a stubborn fucking asshole, but some of this is shocking to see..

Reminder: What Peaches allegedly went through is horrible, if true, but that does not excuse him from what he did to Rosa. As an autistic person, his and Lio’s actions remind me of downright horrible bullies I’ve dealt with (I am not a victim of bullying, at least in the traditional sense, but it’s a long story.) and it’s deplorable the way they treated her.
Peaches has called people the r slur, and another derogatory term for an autistic person based on the word aspergers (I have my own issues with the term itself anyway) and clearly enjoyed what he did to Rosa. In some of the audio recordings he released, he did show remorse for what he did to Rosa, however, he went into those conversations with Lio with the intent of recording and publicising it to throw Lio under the bus. I was only vaguely aware of the Rosa call before, and Lio had given me weird vibes, but I always excuses his behaviour with “oh, well, they’re predators, who cares if he’s mean to predators?” But nope, turns out he just treats everyone like shit. And that’s the thing with these moral grandstanding people. They channel their anger into self-proclaimed righteousness to avoid being seen as the unhinged mf they are. Nah. Fuck ableists. Fuck this shit.
Deplorable behaviour. To think it took 3 hours for anyone to say anything. Everyone who was in that call should be ashamed of themselves, even if they were silent. You’re an enabler.
I hate these internet vigilantes. I actually give a shit about these topics, so here are some resources about topics I care deeply about.
Fuck ableists. Bye.
Here’s the video of these grown adults bullying a mentally handicapped woman for not having a job and needing a carer for three hours. Oh, and she’s not the predator in this case, she just didn’t ban the predator, and likely didn’t even KNOW there was one in the server, might’ve not even had permissions to kick them! I run a server, and unless someone is a very obvious troll, I don’t just let my mods ban who they want, most servers don’t. Seriously. This video is repulsive. Check tags.
Video #1 - Lio tries to act scary
Video #2 - Cowards in a VC harass a neurodivergent woman for 4 hours
Video #3 - A video of a cute dog unrelated to this ableist nonsense
Edit: btw the rosa call isn’t the only fucked up call these two participated in, but that wasn’t what my post was about so I didn’t mention it. u can google shit bou it. Might wanna look int2 the Jibz and Robert situations respectively. :) Senate sure be a lovely bunch of people, ay? Oh, yeah, recently found out ‘ay’ is pronounced ‘I’ and not ae. Unrelated. Also talking about shit like this just pisses me off. Really fucking much.

prompt 3 for mason 😍
y/n: your name
WARNING: THIS IS V AWFULLY WRITTEN SORRY
2nd person pov
“Y/N hun, did you get the cake?” Your mother asked on the other end of the phone.
“Yeah yeah I’m pulling into the garage right now.” You mumbled as you parked the car in the garage.
“Great thanks. Also heads up, there’s a guest here so mentally prepare yourself I suppose.” You mum added.
You scoffed, “You act like I’m incapable of talking to other adults.”
“You aren’t.” Your dad blurted into your mom’s phone.
“Hey! What do y—oh forget it. I’m coming through the garage door.” You spoke into the phone, trying to balance the cake while squeezing the phone in between your ear and shoulder.
You inwardly cheered as you managed to make your way from the garage to the kitchen without dropping anything. You were tempted to open the cake a snag a piece before laughter from the family room interrupted your devilish choices.
“Company.” You grumbled, hoping it wasn’t anyone too important.
Your gym set (black leggings, cropped black athletic tank and oversized gray zip up) would have to do.
You leaned against the kitchen wall, hoping to be able to decipher the voice on the other side. But alas, it was not meant to be. Shrugging your shoulders, you strode into the family room until you noticed him.
He stopped in the middle of his laughter once he noticed your presence. A smirk made its way onto his face.
“You fucking son of a bi—” You started before your brother, Leo (not Lio Messi) shushed you.
“Y/N. This is my best friend in London, Mason.” Leo smiled, introducing you to apparently, the man who was his best friend.
You’d never met him before, at least that’s what your family thought. Leo had moved to London a few months prior while you opted to stay in Southampton for studies. Mason was one of the good friends he’d gained during his time in the English capital.
You weren’t stupid. You watched football, avidly at that. You knew Mason Mount. What nobody besides you and Mason knew however, was that you two had met before. It was about three months ago, when you were visiting Leo for the first time.
You’d been on your drive back to Southhampton and were stopped at a service station in Croydon for some snacks. You were sleep deprived and exhausted but needed to get home to finish exam studying. You’d spotted your favourite ever, a terrys chocolate orange. There was only one left. Just as you were about to grab it, that wanker did as well.
And though you’re normally tended to be on the quieter side and non confrontational, that man brought out the worst in you. You both fought over it at the back of the store.
Hence solidifying your hatred of the man.
“Lovely to see you again. Hadn’t seen you since our time in the service station.” The smirk growing wider as he spoke.
He was the one who ended up getting that chocolate orange on that fateful night.
“Yeah we—” You began to speak but saw your family shift uncomfortably at the conversation between the two you.
You opted to bring it up later, and begrudgingly sat down as Leo covered up the awkward silence.
hours later***
You sat at the kitchen island huddled over your laptop, you’d now changed into nightwear. This, in your case, happened to be very similar to your regular clothing. An oversized jumper and athletic shorts.
“And so though it ended in chaos, the ancient civilizations of Greece and Persia will forever hold a history beyond that of their fabled tales.” You whispered to yourself as you typed the sentence on your laptop.
It was a last minute history essay which you’d completely forgot about and had began to bullshit at 2 in the morning.
You sighed in relief, realising you’d be able to go to sleep tonight. You were just about to pack up and head to your room for the night before you heard footsteps approaching you.
Weird. Everyone in your family were heavy sleepers, including you.
Unless it wa-wait. Please no.
You grimaced when you saw a tired Mason rubbing his temples looking like a mess. You snickered at the sight.
It took a bit for his eyes to readjust to the light, having the blink a few times upon seeing you.
“Not asleep yet?” He asked you, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
What kind of person drinks coffee at 2 in the morning?
“Had an essay to finish.” You muttered.
“Oh yeah? What about?” Mason asked.
You gazed at him with sceptisim. You found it odd that something like this would pique his interest.
“I don’t suppose you’d know anything about it.” You scoffed.
A lazy smile made its way onto his face.
“Come on Y/N. I thought we were past this.”
“You may be, but me no. Call me a bitch but I hold my grudges.” You spoke, trying to avoid eye contact.
Mason rolled his eyes and walked back to the guest room. You shrugged your shoulder, happy to be rid of him.
Then however, he appeared again. Your eyes zeroed in at what he was holding in his hands.
“Think fast.” He said, tossing the box at you.
Your hands sprang up and you were satisfied that you managed to catch it. It was a box, a large one at that. Full of several Terry’s Chocolate Oranges.
“Truce?” He offered.
You looked down at the chocolates, then to Mason, then back again.
“Fine.” You obliged.
You noticed the way he was looking at you. He stared at you like you were the only one. It was 2am, you were the only one in the room. You began to feel warm, nervous, and anxious under his gaze. Like he was scrutinising your every move.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” You finally mustered up the courage to ask.
“Analysis.” He answered.
“Analysis? Are you good?” You shot him a strange look.
“I’m just trying to figure out why I acted the way I did at the service station.”
“Maybe because your were getting no playing time at Chelsea and you guys were losing every match.” You laughed, before quickly shutting yourself up.
“Sorry too soon.” You apologised.
To your surprised Mason cracked a smile. He then proceeded to walk over to you on the other side of the kitchen island, you swiveled your chair around to face him.
You sat while he stood. You looked up at him, still confused and nervous at what he was doing.
His arms flew to either side of you, basically caging you in.
You gulped nervously for several reasons. One, you obviously wanted him to act on it but you were kind of inexperienced and wouldn’t know what to do if he did. Two, you were in your parents house, they were sleeping just above your heads. Three, he was your brother’s best friend.
“What are you doing?” You questioned, placing emphasis on the what.
“Are you okay with this?” He asked, eyes fixated on you.
“Yes.” You answered immediately.
“The only reason I fought with you so hard was because I thought you were cute. I didnt really know how else to get a girl’s attention.” Mason admitted sheepishly.
“So you’re not usually a dick?” You inquired, a smile playing on your face.
“Usually no. To you, yes. I like our bantering.” He smirked.
“Me too.” You nodded, laughing.
You noticed he started to glance longingly at your lips.
But before you could think or act, you heard movement upstairs, someone shuffling in their room.
“My parents are upstairs.” You thought aloud.
Mason nodded about to speak before you both heard someone coming down the stairs. You acted on instinct, pecked him on the lips then scurried away to your room.
“Call me.” You mouthed, gesturing with your hands, inwardly celebrating when you saw him smile.
Somehow managing to get up to your room and in your bed without whoever was coming down the stairs noticing, a smile was on your face.
You quickly opened up your phone and began to text your two best friends.
Today starts a forbidden romance, just like in the movies. Upon reading your text you quickly deleted the message.
Oh shit. He didn’t have your number.
Maybe this wasn’t going to be just like the movies.

Hello!
I apologise if this is a bit of a silly ask, but I’m feeling a bit worried and I wondered if you could provide some insight, since you seem quite familiar with Hermes!
Last night, one of my aunt’s rabbits sadly passed away. I wanted to do something to help, but I couldn’t do anything in person due to being unwell; I could only think to pray to a God for help, and Hermes was the only deity that came to mind.
I reached out to Hermes to ask if he might be able to look out for my aunt during her time of grief, and perhaps offer her some comfort if possible, as her bunnies got her through a lot in her life and she is devastated. I left an offering of fresh water as a “thank-you in advance”. However, I felt like my prayer fell on deaf ears, and like I did something inappropriate or overstepped.
I don’t actively worship the Gods anymore due to poor mental health, I only reach out to them occasionally to ask for help, and give offerings as thanks when I can (saying that out loud makes me feel kind of bad, actually).
I haven’t worried about this sort of thing for some time, so I feel a bit silly.. I’m just nervous that I may have messed up, and I’m hoping that I didn’t because I’d like to get to know Hermes better, and I’d hate it if I ruined any future opportunity.
- Lio
Hey, Lio, thank you for the ask. I'm so sorry for your aunt's loss. I wish her peace during this time. 🫂
How you're feeling isn't silly at all and is something I see often when someone is unable to worship the gods more directly. It's something I've experienced myself. It may be some form of religious trauma or something that causes the feelings, but I'm no expert on the topic. Just know that these feelings are common, and you are not alone in experiencing anxiety after giving offerings and asking for help.
In my opinion, I don't see anything that would upset Hermes. I'm not Hermes, so I can't really speak for him, but from my experience, I doubt any of those things actually upset him. He is a great deity to ask for help from in times of grief as well as to ask aid from in guiding a soul to the underworld. I have asked him for help in similar situations, even without giving an offering straight away, and he was receptive. I don't think he'd be mad at you for this, but if it's something you're extremely concerned about, I'd recommend asking him directly about the situation, maybe through divination or asking him to send you a sign or dream. From my perspective, though, I think everything's ok. 🧡
You may be feeling it fell on deaf ears because you might be feeling a bit disconnected from your spirituality and/or worship right now. I know whenever I've taken a step away from religion, it can be difficult to pray during those times because I feel extremely disconnected from deities and have a more difficult time sensing their energy and the like. Maybe you're in a similar situation where it's been a while since you've called upon a deity, so you're a bit "out of practice", in a sense, when it comes to sensing energy. This is just a suggestion for what you're experiencing, however; it's perfectly ok if you disagree or believe that something else is the cause. Just know deity disconnect is normal and happens to people all the time. I've had moments where I'm genuinely unable to tell if a deity can even hear my prayers only to later find out that they definitely did. Please know that feeling disconnected doesn't mean they aren't there or listening. It will be ok. 🫂
Hope this response helped! I obviously can't speak for Hermes himself, so all of this is just based on my experiences and opinions. I hope it was reassuring, though. It might help to focus on grounding yourself for the time being, then approach the situation when you're feeling a bit more clear-minded if you can. I think everything's ok, and your feelings are not silly at all. Take care, and have a great day/night. 🧡

The Vanilla influence chart going a lil wild rn but
Winslow: Music writing autistic nervous/socially awkward weirdo who can be p vengeful.
Bee: Same monotone voice, silly mannerisms, love to eat.
Lio Fotia: Voice claim, kinda base a lot of the energy of Vanilla's appearance off of Lio and I'm sure people can tell, LMAO.
Young Neil: Airheadedness and awkward way of speaking.
Speed O' Sound Sonic: Prettyboy energy and boyfailureness...the way Sonic can be a good fighter but also very embarrassing to watch when he goofs up is very Vani. Vanilla would totally slip on dog shit the way Sonic did...
Thistle: Thistle is kind of a recent addition in the Vanilla inspo web, but I think he fits best in the college days category of Vanilla's personality. Very much doing his best to please others at the risk of his own health and mental stability. Also I have based angry expressions Vani makes off of Thistle's, they're very good. I guess his anger is also something I take inspo from.

A list of some alterhuman identities and groups (uncut version)
