I don't usually do this, and to be honest, I'm not sure if I'm doing this right

Shane Finn headcanons

New Zealand Maori (Pacific Islander)

Has a huge family

Gets free tickets for them and his entire family always makes it to every game (except for the one where the stadium sunk. they all cried, worrying about him)

Takes very good care of his hair, and js in fact sponsored by many haircare brands (actually has the best haircare routine in the entire league, despite what the records say)

Has freckles, sunspots, and acne scars, but he doesn't mind them

Surfs in the summer, snowboards in the winter, dirtbikes in the autumn, mountainboards in the spring

Doesn't actually beef with other players, he just does it for the camera and because it's funny

Shane Finn

Likes to be able to bond with his partner over a passion, so he is willing to try new things even if he knows he will rarely do it again

Loves cooking with his partner because his family raised him to enjoy cooking and to help out in the kitchen whenever he can

Sends his partner postcards and little souvenirs whenever he travels abroad and his partner is unable to come along

Gift giving is his love language so he spoils his partner. he prefers to do it with with handmade gifts rather than bought gifts, but he's not afraid to spend money on them

After the events of ‘Broken Record’ intro as the others minus Liquido were in the locker room.

Del Aqua: Is that really Liquido???

Skipper: Why you say that, Coach?

Del Aqua: This is Supa Strikas and for the first, why isn’t Liquido acting snarky and animosity????

Skipper: Maybe the sinking stadium open his eyes from any more recklessness?

Del Aqua: I’m not convinced that is our Liquido…

Shane Finn: What is the matter??

Del Aqua: I’m not convinced that is Liquido.. Perhaps Inyo swap him for a body double…

Shane Finn: C’mon, Coach brah! I’m sure that’s him in that deep seated snarkiness! He’s just being chill!

Del Aqua: While I’m glad our scores are tied, that does not mean we can rest on our grounds. Tonight, I need to plot something to prove my theory-

Later that night

Del Aqua: ‘Appears to call someone’ Hello, Coach. This is Del Aqua. Forgive me for calling you this late night after a few hours of game time but I need your help.

Coach: Don’t worry. I’m all ears and even I’m shock at how cool North and Liquido are. What do you have plan?

Later on, both Coach and Del Aqua appeared to sneak in a room to catch an act of maliciousness.

Del Aqua: I’m sure Liquido will be here sooner. We just need to see if he has any plans on his sleeve.

Coach: I just hope our theory is wrong and they just grow up to be proper adults!!

The door knob began to twist as both Coaches rushed under the bed to conceal themselves from cover.

Liquido: Damn it! I can’t believe those dudes look at me like I’m a ghost!

North Shaw: You can’t blame us!! Not every-time you saw your rival acting like a complete different person!

Liquido: I’m still me!! I still have some brightness in spite of my assholeness!

North Shaw: Yet you decided to drag me your room in the middle of the night!

Liquido: I need some stress relief after all those tension from my Coach who’s convinced I’m a clone!!!

North Shaw: I’m still surprised you did not tie me up as you drag me here!!!

Liquido: You too??!! That’s it!!!

Both Coaches shivered in horror as they heard some sloppiness of kiss sounds.

Liquido: Fuck you and your eyes!

North Shaw: Fuck you too and your smile!

Both Coaches gasped quietly as they felt the bed creaked before it began to shake violently as they saw clothes being cascaded on the floor.

Liquido: That’s it?? You’re such a kook!

North Shaw: That’s the Liquido I know! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you’re comfortable!!

Both Coaches gulped as they heard curses and groans as bed began to shake violently. Del Aqua face planted on the floor as he covered his ears with his hands while Coach just glared up with a pinkish cheeks…

… all while Del Aqua voice recorded everything on the phone…

The next morning

Del Aqua wobbled weakly to the dining area for breakfast while he had a disheveled look. He took a seat beside Skipper as the Hydra Captain looked at his Coach in concern.

Skipper: Coach? Are you alright?

Del Aqua: Never felt better!

Shane Finn: Where have you been last night?? We thought you would join us on a Seafood experience??

Del Aqua: Don’t bother! I did an unwanted thing last night!

Skipper and Shane Finn both exchanged looks of shock as Ursula rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Liquido: Hey, guys!! Fancy meeting you too, Coach!

Del Aqua: ‘refused to look at him in the eye’ Hmm.

Liquido: So are you happy with a tied score last night?

Del Aqua: Not unless you prove to me you are the real Liquido!

With that, Del Aqua bolted out of there.

"Okay look for this one I have to give a little more context but... so worth it. There's this fic. Absolutely HEARTBREAKING angsty fic featuring Major Character Death that has been living rent free in my brain since I first read it. And it's UNCANNY how well the lyrics of this song fit that fic and they just make each other's effect SO MUCH WORSE (affectionate). OKAY SO. The fic. The main characters (two brothers) have been kidnapped and one has been poisoned in order to extort information from the other (which he doesn't have). The fic follows them as one gets increasingly sicker and the other increasingly worried and scared ("How I hate being scared, the more I think the more I do"). They are kept in a windowless room and they talk about how they miss the sun and how they'd sit outside in the rain and have huge windows if they ever get out ("A brick of light reveals the day", "We'd sleep beneath the stars"). They reminisce about their childhood, how they would hide from monsters in their pillow forts and now the monsters have become real ("I wish we knew a place to play, where no one could find us"). The sick one keeps trying really hard to reassure the other, even as they lose hope ("you lied to me the other day, don't keep it all inside"), the other is really scared they won't get out in time, BUT THEN when they realise the sick one hasn't got long left, his brother starts telling HIM all the reassuring lies he's been told the days before, and the LAST WORDS the sick one says as he dies, his brother holding his hand ("You held my hand, I slipped away"), are "I'm really scared, brother" ( AGAIN "How I hate being scared", but this time UNO REVERSE). Second half of the fic deals with the surviving brother trying to cope with the loss as he's eventually rescued, just a bit too late. ("How I wish I was free, the more I think the more I do. Still anything reminds me of you. I smell your hair, I hear your voice, I feel you.") JUST. WHY DO YOU HURT ME IN THIS WAY. (I made a podfic of that fic and used this song as Intro/Outro music because FUCK if I have to suffer like this so does everyone else)"

Hi! I hope you're still taking Supa Strikas requests.

Would you do some headcanons for Shakes, Skarra, Chuck, North Shaw and Liquido with a physically affectionate s/o? (male s/o if you don't mind)

To Shakes' credit, he's all for physical affection. The team is pretty open about physical contact so it's not like he outright rejects the concept as a whole. He's all for it. He's just a bit shy about it.

His boyfriend wanting to be physically affectionate is something that Shakes enjoys very much and it's something that behind closed doors he can get behind! he likes cuddling up to his boyfriend, he likes the surprise kisses and the hugs and all that comes with. It's just doing that stuff in public where its an issue.

He's a private person. He doesn't do interviews a lot and even his social media isn't something he engages in unless there's a good reason. Part of that is that Shakes did not grow up with this fame and as a result doesn't want too much attention all of the time. There's parts of his love-life he wants to keep private from the media.

Anything beyond kissing on the cheek and hand holding/arm on shoulders is a bit much for him when he's walking around outside of their home. He likes being connected to them and Shakes is often the one to start making a grab for his boyfriend's hand, he just wants to save other forms of affection for home. It's special to him, ya' know?

Skarra is in a similar boat but for different reasons (and heaven forbid anyone point out that similarity).

Like Shakes, he likes the physical affection his boyfriend gives - behind closed doors. It takes him a bit to warm up to it, simply because he's not used to it, but he grows to like how clingy his boyfriend can be within the privacy of their shared home.

Unlike Shakes though, Skarra is not really accustomed to physical affection. The team is not known for showing their affection with physical touch. There's camaraderie of being in the same room as each other, and being their for one another but the physical touch thing... yea that's not really a thing for them.

Add on top of that Skarra is all about his reputation. He can't have people thinking he's grown soft - getting flustered on camera is not good for his career. So physical affection is something his boyfriend is going to have to reserve for when they are home.

Having said that, Skarra is all about showing off his boyfriend and showing that his boyfriend is his. At public venues he will have a possessive arm around him, making sure that any players trying to go for his boyfriend get the message loud and clear that they lost their chance to have a partner like his.

Chuck needs a bit of forewarning about physical affection. He doesn't hate it, in fact he's a big fan, he's just not used to it. His love language is verbal - words of affirmation, praise, you get the picture. This 'physical affection' stuff his boyfriend likes is uncharted territory but for him, Chuck will try.

S/o is going to have to take the lead with Chuck a lot, simply because it's not something that crosses his mind a lot. He doesn't think about holding hands, he thinks about giving a compliment for the awesome job his boyfriend did today. It takes him a bit to flip the switch and learn to tell wen his boyfriend wants him to communicate in a different love-language.

He does learn! He does his best! He likes the look on s/o's face when it's Chuck initiating any affection between them! S/o gets so excited and sweet about it that Chuck can't help but want to try again later! And to keep trying.

He's all for affection in public but keeping it between them more. It makes him feel special; like he only gets to see how physically affectionate s/o is and he doesn't have to share him with anyone. After being on a team where he has very little voice against his coach, it's uplifting to have something special only he and boyfriend get to have.

North Shaw is all for it! This dude is physical affection incarnate. He regularly scales Blok. If he's not doing that, he's got an arm around a team mate. If he's not doing either of those, he's leaning his head against a team mate or giving them a hug or a high five or having touch of some kind. Finding out his boyfriend is the same gives North Shaw the green light to not hold back.

Competition is bound to rise only because North Shaw is not capable of not making it competitive; they try to get the drop on each other with surprise affection. Yes, the team is tired of having to deal with cute nonsense. No, neither of them is going to stop for the team's sake.

North Shaw has very little shame about PDA - all his boyfriend needs to do is give the go-ahead and there's arm on the waist immediately. He won't make out in public but no one can stop the Australian from princess carrying his boyfriend around just to make the guy smile.

If boyfriend princess carries him, it's curtains. He's putting a ring on him at some point.

Out of all the characters requested, Liquido has the least shame about physical affection, especially with his boyfriend. With his team mates, he'll put an arm around them, hug, even use them as a pillow when they travel. With his boyfriend? With his boyfriend it's all that and then some.

When S/o told him that he was a fan of physical affection, and said Liquido could tell him to knock it off if the clingy-ness bothered him, that man dragged s/o into a make out session. It's only when s/o is about to be literally breathless that Liquido pulls up for air and sends an unfairly calm smirk down.

"I'd like to see you try more than that. "

Game. On.

If one of them doesn't have his arm around the other, the other one does for sure. Hand-holding, cuddles, arms on shoulders, arms on waist, kissing on the cheek, kissing of any kind really, touches that linger for quite a while - it's all fair game.

Hydra managed to tie the score 2- 2 with Supa Strikas in the floating stadium.

Shane Finn: Finally! Our pure hard work paid off!! I can’t believe it!!

Joe Momoa: Let’s hit the showers! Then we can hit the nearby restaurant that serves great Thai!

The guy with darker shade of blue hair: Yeah. I’m sweat as hell!

Skipper: C’mon, Liquido! We’re heading for the showers!

Skipper stopped when he saw Liquido staring at the end side of the ocean. He rushed to him to find Liquido staring at two guys tried to flirt with North Shaw.

Skipper: Man! We’re going to a nearby restaurant to celebrate!

Liquido: Wow! North Shaw has people for hookup!

Skipper: …. No offense, Man. You’re too intimidating for people.

Liquido: Chill, Cap! ‘ Switch from distraught to a sly smile’ I have my ways to get laid!!!

Later on, at night, at a restaurant in East Malaysia.

Joe Momoa: Everyone seems to have a great time! These seafoods are off the hook!! ‘As he gulped on a battered prawn’

Skipper: Yeah! ‘He looked at his left to see Shane Finn having a slim G/ N person straddling his lap as he kissed them heatedly’. I hope Shane Finn is not too intoxicated!

White Ripples: Relax! Coach gave us 4 days off for winning against Cognito, Cosmos and draw with Supa Strikas! We deserve a break, Cap!

The other Hydra players continued to eat, chat and get intoxicated. Shane Finn had already left the restaurant with the person for more ‘private session’ in his arms as he gave them his portion of cash.

Skipper: Wait, where’s Liquido??

The guy with darker shade of blue hair: Last I checked, he tried to flirt with a waiter but he backed out due to his intimidating demeanor.

Ursula: ‘While drinking a second glass of Martini’ He needs to tone down if he wants to properly get laid! One time a guy punched him for mistaking him for being a creep.

White Ripples: Gnarly! Another one Liquido got blasted in the ocean for trying to kiss a poor guy..

Skipper: I better go check on him!

Skipper left as he roamed around the beach to search for his reckless teammate.

Familiar voice: Hey, Skipper!

He turned to see Shakes and Blok behind him, stopping to catch their breathes.

Shakes: We’re looking for North! We haven’t seen him since the end of match! We will go back by tomorrow morning! Have you seen him??

Skipper: Last I saw him, two guys are -

All of them turned to each other with horrified looks before they dashed to a deserted spot.

The trio hid behind the bushes as they gapped in horror.

Liquido: That’s it! Take it like a champ!

North Shaw: What the f- You ambushed me, knocked me unconscious, tied me and now you tried to make me enter-

Liquido: Yeah! No one gets to screw you but me! C’mon!!! You’re such a kook!

North Shaw: Kook?! I’ll give you the ‘kook’ experience to shut you up!!!

The trio looked at each other as Skipper nodded at them to leave them alone.

The next morning

Coach: Where is North Shaw?

Coach Del Aqua: And where is Liquido?

The two exchanged concerned looks before they dashed out of the stadium to find their impulsive players.

North Shaw: COACH!!!! HELP!!!!!

Both of them dashed to the source of sound and gapped when they see a tied up North Shaw on a chair with a sleepy Liquido who straddled him with a smile, both BARE!!!

Liquido: Best ‘Kook’ experience ever!!

The shout of NO from their respective Coach sends chills and annoyance to the other players as they knew what had happened.

How did I write this? Imagining myself in a car with the boys listening to music while we are on the road at 10pm

Saying a particular genre is complicated since most people have many types of tastes, so I thought of artists.
