Class 1-A Boys + music they listen to 🎵🎧 (PART 1)

Ojiro and Shoji would a b s o l u t e l y vibe together to meditation music, yk like the two most calmest bois of 1-A inviting each other to their dorms to chat, study or hang out to meditate after training to find some inner peace within themselves 😊✌️

Koda gives Animal Crossing vibes so much (probably plays Animal Crossing too 🥺) so he would listen to cutecore music for enjoyment, maybe a a bit of lofi if he has to study. Nervous boi would be so scared of showing off his music to his classmates because of how they would feel about it 🥺

Izuku loves all pop songs from 2000's to now pop music. But if you ask who is his favorite artist...probably Shawn Mendes, Harry Styles or Boywithuke. The first song he got attached to was 'Stitches'. Other types he likes are techno and dubstep

One time, after dinner at the dorms, Izuku and Todoroki were washing dishes in the kitchen and Izuku had his headphones on listening to said song and little did todoroki know..broccoli boi started ✨singing✨ it. His lovely voice ringing through the room, making the peppermint haired boy look at him in suprise. And poor boi din't notice it until he glanced back and immediately started apologizing and blushing like a mad man lol.

Todoroki was always a man of variation but he was never introduced to much music cause you know...

Until one day..he was just scrolling around youtube and all he could see was everything ✨slowed and reverb✨

It couldn't go away from his field of vision he clicks on a slowed version of Dancin by Aaron Smith and let me tell you when he did this

Starts to literally v i b e in his dorm room. It's like he's been teleported to another world where he can zone out and dance and when the song ended, he wanted more. Now everytime you see him, he has his earphones in listening to the sweet sounds of reverbed music (until he has to go to bed ofc cause he has curfew) and has about 200 songs on his Spotify playlist (he clearly hasn't stfu about it 😂) but outside of his new addiction, he also likes techno like Izuku does. Definitely plays it on his speaker too if hanging with the DekuSquad

When baking, Sato likes to play some indie music cause for some strange reason, it naturally speeds up the baking process for him. Yes, even the song from Lazytown Cooking by the Book (it's a guilty pleasure

Random headcanon: he gained a liking for broadway music and he had a theatre kid era once before he got into the whole baking/cooking spiel.

Tokoyami is the MOST obvious one of them all. He just loves being the emo/alt lord and loves metal/heavy metal to death. I mean probably every time he sees a new metal band he'll seek them out to see if they're good or not. He did come across a band that Kuroiro showed him once when Class B came to the dorms after the whole training tournament the band was called Nemophila ⬇️

He took one look at the album art and literally thought that his twin emo is fooling him but when he listened to it holy shi- it's so good WhAt so much power 🤟😯 mans was even more shocked that it was an ✨all girl✨ band (yes even a girl did the deep voice) he was s h o o k e t h but in the greatest way possible, he even recommended this song for Jirou to listen and he NEVER does that. He includes it in his playlist and discovers there's more songs by them. He doesn't mind playing it out loud sometimes but he feels like it's only for him not being selfish or anything metal is a genre he treasures to him and doesn't give af what ppl think of it PERIODT.

Hinata - A Mix of Pop music and Indi Rock

Kageyama - Classical. I feel like he'd like classical music and listen to it frequently but I bet you he listen's to Mitsiki and Marina secretly while crying.

Sugawara - I feel like he'd like hip hop and Techno I feel like he would unexpectedly listen to the songs with a couple (ALOT) of curse words in them. If someone points it out, he'd just smile and nod.

Asahi - Pop just like Hinata but he would also vibe to lofi music. Seems like a guy that would listen rio romeo with Kiyoko and talk about her songs

Daichi - Seem's like someone who's into jazz (Extra headcannon he was a band kid in middle school)

Tanaka - I have no clue why I think of this but I think he'd listen to Intros and endings from romance dramas while daydreaming about dating Kiyoko and crying with scenarios he created in his head. Kiyoko - There’s not one type of genre she would listen to it all and would be open to her choices would Listen to Rio Romeo and Ado Yachi - Defiantly listens to Indi Pop and Indi Rock, if someone would ask her who are here top artists on her playlist Rio Romeo, Marina, Melanie Martinez and Mitsiki will be the top.

Nishinoya - I think he'd like EDM. Or just party music he would vibe to it and sing along. A side headcannon he remembers Eminems Song word for word escpeially rap god so he will flex on it and Tanaka would cheer him on.

Tsukki - Rap He seems like the guy who would enjoy twenty one Pilots and Artic Monkeys

Yamaguchi - Lofi Hip hop but I also get a vibe that secretly he wouldn't mind listening to Metal Just My opinion though.

Oikawa - Indie Pop/R&B he 100% listens to Marina and The diamonds. K-Pop and J-POP lover with tendou they both secretly bond over it and talk about it in there own GC.

Iwaizumi - Hip hop/Electropop Mattsun - Hip-Hop And Rap. Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre of course. Hanamakki - Hip-Hop and ALSO Rap Mattsun and Makki both vibe to the same genre chaos. Yahaba - Synth-Pop Watari - He listens to Pop Rock and Funk Kiyotani - Heavy Metal and Punk is what I would say if he would listen too though he actually listens to Indie Music and Soft Lofi but if somebody catches him he would give them a glare and they would walk away so fast. Kindaichi - Techno and Pop Rock he seems like he would be into that Kunimi - Listens to Rock and Metal secretly along with sometimes Pop. I head cannon he might secretly be a metal head but he doesn't mind to listening to other genres at all.

Helluva Boss - Season 1 // Episode 8 (REVIEW)

(Warning//cussing, opinions 😟, critique, Helluva Boss, drinking topics, spoilers)

I cuss when I’m mad so….be prepared

This is more of a rant than an review lmao

K soooo episode 8 finally came out and oh boy do I have something to say..

So everyone knows that a year ago (I think?) Viv said on her twitter that episode 8 was delayed due to copyright issues. I was like okay, that’s fine, I understand that she might’ve had a song that was copyrighted or some shit. so they moved on with season 2.

2 days ago she made a post saying that episode 8 will finally be up on YouTube. Tbh I was excited bc we get to see what the fuck is going on with that trashy Ozzie’s episode. Oh did I mention that Viv said that this wasn’t a continuation of Ozzie’s but then she proceeded to say it was??? Like make up ur mind it’s not that hard woman 😭.

Let me start off with me saying that where is the warning intro? See you can definitely tell that this episode is rushed. Also the animation is very off, Loona and the rest of the characters looked very stiff like the animation was off putting??

Loona enters the party and we see Vortex again, alright that’s fine sure whatever Idc. And we see a bunch of hellhounds (which don’t even look like hellhounds they look like fucking piss stain red eyed furry hair that like partying) like, I’m sorry? Isn’t this supposed to be hell? Like why in the actual satans asshole are they having fun, they’re listening to techno/rave/pop DJ Gen z music (I don’t even know what this music is called so pls tell me what it’s called so I don’t have to embarrass myself) .

So then we get to the point of this episode, where we see Queen Bee (Aka Beelzebub), I’m sorry, who is this bitch? She doesn’t even look like Beelzebub??? It’s like I’m watching a furry dancing and head bobbing to animation meme music, while horrible furrybait hellhounds get high or some shit, how is this an adult series, how could you count this as something an ADULT lemme remind you again an ADULT a fucking 18+ individual that could drink, watch pron, do adult things could watch??? And I know, all adults are different, they like different comedy, and different plots. But you must be a man child to like this.

Anyways back to Bee, her design is not good, it’s not mature, it’s just an eye bleeding furry that could probably give someone epilepsy seeing this thing, and I mostly feel bad for the animators having to animate her, I can’t even animate my simple pink unicorn oc because of the design, and the design isn’t even that complex??.

Now let’s get on to her character, she’s actually not that bad, like she’s not horrible (that’s because she’s not an asshole like the other female characters, Loona, Stella, Verosika, to name a few) she’s sassy, fun, extroverted, loud, and I actually like how she’s not a bad character. Thank you Viv for making an actual enjoyable character.

I just realized she’s also voiced by Kesha, which I bad for Kesha for voicing a character from such a dogshit show, but Kesha is literally my childhood, she’s my idol, I love Kesha, I even said that I wanted to meet her one day. I love Kesha very much because I’m such a sucker for early 2000s scenecore, Kesha was my music taste and still IS my music taste. So props I guess for Viv for getting her to voice act an character that’s insane.

Ok so let’s talk about the song, I give it a solid 6/10, the song is good only because I kept singing it and it was stuck in my head, but the fucking. repeated. verses is getting me a overstimulation at this point.

So after the song, Bee introduction, Yada yada, we get Loona saying that this party is getting her anxious because of Bee prolly. She calls Blitzo up, Blitzo comes and get her, she gets in the car with him, until they see a hellhound that proceeds to call Loona “hot”, then she changes her mind like a fucking moron and say “yOu knO daddy, I thwnk we shOuld tay a Wittle longa, pweeassee owo” like she’s a 2 year old baby convincing her dad that she has to stay, she needs to stay. Oh can I also say that this furrybait is also a whore? Ok like hear me out, she said she had syphillis in the pilot, then she had a whole ass high school crush on Vortex with the most embarrassing conversation, then she proceeds to be tail wagging turned on because of this hellhound that called her hot. Seriously, how could you like this character? she’s not enjoyable.

Alright we’re now moving on with her and Blitzo, and Blitzo’s getting drunk because of his relationship issues, but then Loona is chilling yknow having a good time, then she gets confronted with Bee and Vortex saying that you need to go check on your dad. Hold on second lemme just stop right here partner, hold to flipping flop, isn’t Bee the queen of gluttony? Isn’t she like to embodiment of drinking and having fun, how nice are you? Why are you acting like this? You are a ruler of HELL, you’re supposed to be bad, you’re supposed to be supporting that big headed alien demon.

So now Imma get to the end, they enter their home, Blitzo goes to sleep, and here’s something so funny he says, “Fuck, Fizz was right. I’m gonna die alone” This is the worst sad thing Blitzo has ever said so far, I’m not sorry BlitzO but I don’t give a shit about your problems, till the very end of this day you’re still going to be the last person I’m going to feel bad for, Bojack Horseman is better than you for fucks sake. You’re NOTHING to me, and I hope you die alone pissstain you deserve it.

the last thing I have to say is some a couple points I missed.

•Why is Vortex, a hellhound that is lower than Imps. Dating a lord? Wtf is going on? Why is it not okay for Stolas to like Blitzo

•The whole thing with Bee should’ve been overweight is stupid and not necessary

•I love how everyone is defending Blitzo and I even saw a video on YT (Im not going to send the video to anyone because I don’t want that person to receive hate of course) putting a Bojack Horseman quote in the video like you’re NOTHING like Bojack, stop comparing Blitzo to Bojack, Blitzo is literally an uwu feel bad for character

I’m going to review this headache’s next episode this Saturday so stay tuned I’m honestly excited

hello

today has been really hard

today has been a year since we found out Technoblade passed away

in January of 2021 i was introduced to the DreamSMP through SAD-ist’s animations. i was hooked immediately and wanted to know more, i devoured every bit of lore and information i could. Wilbur and the sleepy bois caught me first, the energy they had gave me so much joy and happiness in one of the darkest times of my life. i was still in the dark about my chronic pain and i would spend days in my bed just trying to distract myself from the pain. i didn’t really get interested in Techno’s content until Ranboo started to do his lore in the north, when he moved there after L’manburg got absolutely destroyed by Techno and Phil. i found so much peace in Techno’s content, although he was all about chaos. he quickly became my hero, i was 17 about to be a senior in high school, doing my virtual school classes in my bed, recovering from whatever medication was wrecking havoc on my body and somehow he was the greatest distraction in my life and i thank him to this day for that. nights when i couldn’t sleep due to the pain keeping me awake were filled with watching old vods, or listening to compilations of Techno talking about Greek Mythology. days when i hit a wall in my diagnosis were spent watching and laughing along with the sleepy bois. i remember Wilbur’s “monopoly” stream with the sleepy bois, and the April fools day stream, Quackity’s Jackbox streams he was included in, i remember so much.

i miss him so much, he was and still is mine and so many other’s hero

so the first anime i probably ever watched was yu-gi-oh. one of my biggest blogs ever on this hellsite was my original atem blog which amassed 1k followers when i actually gave a damn about having the support of the community. the anime is well over 20 years old and you know, when i made the blog, i assumed the fandom would be pretty quiet and obscure --- an escape for me from the other big time fandoms i dabbled in but ho boy was i wrong.

no one ever REALLY leaves that fandom. for all the bat shit crazies i met in it, there was also a slew of genuinely cool people who were passionate about the Egyptian lore and of course, card games. my very best RP friend and soulmate was met in that fandom. i will never have another priest like her. and then there’s the wife, who listens to me cry over all the things cos i suck about as much as atem when it comes to techno things. my crazy kaibar ( you know who you are ) and a few others who have come and gone.

anyway, its sad to hear about the passing of the creator. his characters were one half of my childhood. and i STILL have that grumpy pharaoh as one of my mains. sad we won’t be getting anymore chapters from him; any fleshing out of stories im sure he wanted to dig into eventually. as for me, i enjoy/enjoyed what its given me over the years which is a way to perfect my art and bring some fun to people who actually enjoy my interpretation of his main character. the field of reeds is getting a good soul; certain a certain pharaoh and his court will welcome him with all smiles. rest in power kazuki takahashi!

'According to DJ Chintam—the co-author of Wamono A To Z records guide, and co-curator of last year’s Japanese jazz funk and rare groove comp—the concept of wamono didn’t exist before the mid-’90s: “Playing Japanese music in DJ sets was almost taboo,” he once told Resident Advisor. But the UK rare groove scene, which sent evangelists hunting after obscure funk, soul, and disco, prompted him to start scouring for domestic records at the turn of the century' - Pitchfork. These are the same diggers that went out hunting for Northern Soul records, they same that compiled the compilations of the late 1980s and 1990s (A-T-3 079 A-T-3 080 A-T-3 081)

My Truth

My personal interest in Japan is, I assume, similar to many people growing up in the UK in the 1980s. Japanese cartoons on TV like Battle Of The Planets and Ulysses 31 (I bought a bootleg of the soundtrack it in the early 2000s), sci-fi characters like Godzilla and Ultraman, and arcade games from Space Invaders to Out Run to Street Fighter II (Red Bull’s excellent Diggin The Carts web series is worth a shout). Japanese arcade games were a massive influence on me, not just the graphics but the cabinet artwork, the sound and gameplay too like BurgerTime, Bomberman, or Bubble Bobble. They felt like a small window into Japan

My experience of Japan and music when I was young, like many others in the UK, suffers from multiple personality disorder. I was born when Biddu/Carl Douglas's Kung Fu Fighting reached number 1 on the UK singles chart. Growing up there was the music in anime (although we just called them cartoons) and video games, period dramas that often use oriental folk music or a pastiche of (as I've said I became aware of Ryuichi Sakamoto through his film music), then their was the imitation of Japanese culture by western pop acts like Turning Japanese by The Vapours and Japanese Boy by Aneka, this was when advertising and the presence of Japanese imports on shop shelves and in showrooms began calling for attention to Japan. By the time I was a teenager I was listening to John Peel who would play bands like Shonen Knife and Pizzicato Five

Throughout the 80s there was a fashion for ‘Japanisme’ on record sleeves. Sheffield design studio Designers Republic began incorporation elements of Japanese graphics into their artwork for the group Pop Will Eat Itself, this developed into one of the styles tDR are known for, in the 1990 tDR created an imaginary Japanese corporation called Pho-Ku. In their way tDR were trying to subvert marketing slogans, Japanese iconography and characters were incorporated into the designs not only for their own charm but as symbols of what is sometimes called hyper-capitalism. From the late 1980s I'd pick up bits of Japanese artwork wherever I could, this might be reproductions of high art or ephemera. In 1991 Akira got a theatrical release in the UK, as an art student I was watching Tetsuo: The Iron Man and it's sequel. I enjoyed Anime and manga (I think Ranma ½ was the first series I got into) and I'm a fan of Superflat

The video for Madonna' released's single Rain (written with Shep Pettibone) was released in 1993, and appeared to have sleek and minimal contemporary Japanese aesthetic to it which I loved. Ryuichi Sakamoto plays the video director in it. This aesthetic is made explicit in Chris Cunningham's 1997 techno orientalist Ghost In The Shell inspired video for the Bjork single All Is Full Of Love

I remember seeing all the CDs on display in Japanese shops and knowing there was gold hidden in there. I will buy anything that looks interesting. YMO, Ryo Kawasaki, Logic System were probably the first older Japanese artists I went looking for

Interest in 'City Pop' and Japanese ambient music in America is written about as if it has happened over night but, it's nothing new, it goes all the way back Ue o Muite Arukō (or Sukiyaki) a Japanese record sung by Kyu Sakamoto that American veterans took to number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. Slick Rick takes the melody and incorporates it into the Doug E Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew classic La Di Da Di

Tracks like YMO's Firecracker was popular with Black American audiences, Bboys were into Riot In Lagos, and in Planet Rock G.L.O.B.E, Pow Wow, and Mr Biggs get the house to repeat "ich me sun chi" [ichi ni san shi]. Bambaataa's love of Kraftwerk is well documented so this is probably definitely lifted from Numbers by Kraftwerk

My attraction to Japanese culture was the science fiction and fantasy. Wu-Tang: An American Saga tells the story of RZA and Ghostface Killah's love of martial arts movies and RZA's genius move to sample those films and their sound effects, and boo-yaa the rest as they say is history with Japanese samples and references cropping up in hip hop, R&B, jungle and all their derivatives until the end of time. Wu-Tang were the first hip hop act to go all in, it wasn't subtle was it, in many ways you could compare Wu-Tang to UK synth pop like Japan, Wang Chung, the rock group Asia and other 1980s groups that referenced elements of Japanese culture. Over the last decade or so anime and manga have become mainstream in the US and rock and pop acts are also paying attention to Japanese culture

hi hello I was tagged by @s0livagant to post 5 songs I've been listening to lately ❣️❣️❣️ and I've actually been making more of an effort to find new music over the past few months so here's a few that have been on repeat ❤️

1. Blender by 5SOS (actually the entire album has been on repeat. esp haze. and ydgtpa. and bloodhound. and tears!. and-)

2. Heat Waves by Lunelle (glass animals cover but this one is sooooo much better. the vibes are absolutely impeccable. so groovy and fun. a little punk. i love it sm!!! has also been on repeat!)

3. Revolver by bülow (oh this one slaps soo hard. the rhythm is so fun and funky. absolute banger. soo good. cannot understate how much it slaps.)

4. Nite Swim by Luna Shadows (a very fun song, modern-day romeo+juliet vibes. very fun.)

5. It Can't Be That Hard by Good Boy Daisy. (a local band from az and you know what this song is very very good. the chorus is chefs kiss. so fun to sing along to.

(6. Ok I have to mention that I've been listening to Sticks Stones and Techno by All Time Low, the hidden final track off their incredible and iconic debut album hahaha. It's a joke track but not to me ❤️ like it does make me laugh but it's also just genuinely very fun so I've been listening to it every day before I go into work lol. instant good mood tbh 🤭)

But other than that he's a very sweet kid who has a very big crush for his kind babysitter

He is chaotic

Has the most energy out of all of them

Loves to play tag and heroes and any type of game that involves running

But when he tires out he'll come crawling to you and ask to be cuddled

You know those kids that have the confidence of saying that they want to marry you? Yeah, that's him

The only other time where he's gentle, other than nap time, is when he is playing with pets; especially cats

He's an inbetweener

One moment he's all shy and blushy and the other he's high on sugar

I 100% think he has cute fluffy cheeks that you love to play with, and he'll just let you because he's being smuttered in love by the very pretty babysitter

Whenever you go at the park he'll run around collecting flowers and bringing them to you

He gets so shy around new kids and hides behind you legs whenever they are around

He'll sometimes peek from the side when he gets curious

❝ Badboyhalo ❞

He's the "older brother" of the kids

Always ready to help his friends and play with them

But with you it's a whole other story

He acts all childish and needy and cute

100% is that one boy who would play with the kitchen set and be made fun of from some other kids because it's "for girls"

He'll keep everything in and later come cry to you about it, he doesn't want to cry in front of the other kids that look up to him

And you of course reassure him that he can do whatever he wants and not care about those stupid comments

❝ Skeppy ❞

A menace istg

He's the chaotic one

Also the one who hurts himself the most

Because he is so reckless he'll usually run around making chaos and then fall right on his face

Has many plasters all around his body and you need to always have some in your pockets

The only time he calms down is when he sleeps, but even then he'll sometimes move and kick around a lot

❝ Quackity ❞

Hehe ipad kid hehe

He's the menace 2.0

Always teasing every other kid for fun

He loves car toys, so he'll zoom around with it while making car noises

But when you read him stories he's all calm and quiet and will actually hit anybody who tries to interrupt the moment

❝ Karl Jacobs ❞

You thought Dream was needy?

Hahahah, have you met baby Karl?

He is stuck to you like glue. If you can't pick him up he'll koala style grab onto your leg and you are obligated to walk around like that

Constantly wants attention from you and will actually start crying if he doesn't get it

The only way to distract him is with cartoons

He also loves to sleep in a sea of stuffed plushies

❝ Wilbur Soot ❞

...he ate sand as a kid, what do you expect-

He's the troublemaker of the group, constantly doing things that could get him hurt or even worse

He once tried to steal a cookie form your cookie jar but even with the chair he could not reach it, so he did the most "logical" thing and balanced a few boxes on the chair to be "taller"

Needless to say that he almost fell and seriously hurt himself

100% is the type to catch random insects

❝ C!Philza ❞

Phil matured a lot as an adult, but as a kid? HAH

You have a kid with wings to babysit, good luck

Especially after he learns how to fly, he'll be floating around the house and out of your reach just to mess with you

If you put on music he'll sit down to listen and dance to it, so hey you have a distraction :D

He can only sleep in a little nest of pillows and blankets, because he likes to be warm and cozy

❝ C!Technoblade ❞

Ok, Imagine with me, tiny piglin Techno in a boat :D

And he runs around with a box crown, a blanket cape and a toy sword that you made him

He's also the kid that promises to protect you at a very young age and then actually grows up to be your protector

Everytime you're wearing something gold he'll stare at it and then start playing with it

Also he has a tail, and it wags whenever he's happy, period.

❝ Nihachu ❞

She's the older sister of the group, the little girl who was never afraid of anything

I feel like she wasn't that girly at first but then she grew up into being a bit feminine

She's pretty mature for her age, she knows when to have fun and when to be calm

Loves when you cook stuff for her

You two play house so much that you are now platonically married

You have to braid her hair, she likes when you do it

I feel like they're the quiet one

They don't cause any chaos, always polite and kind to everyone, just loves to be left alone in they're little space

Really likes anything shiny, especially gems

So if you wear earrings or necklaces, any type of jewelry that is shiny, they will stare at it for hours

Glitter it's their favourite thing. Ever.

They're the kid that rarely smiles, and when they do it hits everybodys heart

He's a bit like Dream

Very shy and quiet

But he'll get comfortable, and when he does oh boy...

Sonic 2.0, just runs around everywhere

He's definitely the kid that picks on someone jokingly but if they start crying he'll feel bad and comfort them

Adorable little kid

Does have a lot of energy tho, he's always high on sugar lol

Loves to play any sports that involves a ball

I want context. What do you mean with fantasy racism toward Enderman Quackity(? I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about and now I’m curious

ok so im going to give the most through explanation i can here, please feel free to ask more if you are confused on something or if you want to know more: so fantasy racism is when a work will have a non human race, (for example, the taugel from fire emblem awakening, who are a race of wererabbits), but then will apply in universe discrimination against that race (the taugel people were victims of a genocide, with panne and later her son yarne being the last remaining taugel that we know of). in my experience fantasy racism is very rarely written well. many of the people who write it have a fundamental misunderstanding of how racism works and why it happens, and in some cases when the writer is white, have never experienced racism themselves. in dsmp fanworks, fantasy racism is most often carried out against characters like ranboo, who is canonically a enderman hybrid, or characters like techno or fundy, who are popularly headcanon'd to be shapeshifters or part animal or just anthro characters. it is important to note that all of these characters are played by white men. my problems are these: 1.) the character who is most often shown to be fantasy racist is quackity. this is not present in the source material, and is entirely an invention of fanworks, and is furthermore in bad taste considering he is one of the few people of color on the server. while yes, quackity and the butcher's army are the ones who created the propaganda that referred to techno as a pig, this is not fantasy racism. rather, this is an act of political dehumanization. however, because techno is commonly headcanon'd as a shapeshifter or a piglin or a hybrid, fanworks tend to interpret this as a racist act. i do not think i have to explain why showing a mexican man being "racist" against a white man is inherently problematic. these works go further then that, however, by showing quackity being fantasy racist against ranboo, to the point of violence against him. this has no canon basis. it is done solely to write whump fic for ranboo where quackity hurts him and then tubbo or whoever comforts him. again. ranboo is white. quackity is not. it is fucked up to show one of the few people of color on the smp as a violent, angry bigot, when there is no canonical basis for it. it is purposeful misinterpretation of his character, and it is frankly racist as fuck to apply that dynamic to again, a person of color and two white men. 2.) this is used for whump fics for white characters. whump fics written by white writers, because this fandom and many other fandoms are majorly white. it makes me angry that the pain i go through every day, the pain every person of color goes through, is being used as whump material for a character played by people who will never go through the pain and the hurt of racism, who will never be effected by racism, who will never even have to think about racism if they don't want to. by white writers, for white fans. it is alienating being a person of color in fandom, this fandom especially. the only desi streamer i have ever seen is skeppy. i have never seen a muslim streamer other then myself. this fandom continually sidelines and ignores other nonwhite characters. ponk's lore is referred to as "semi lore". ive never seen eryn on his own in fanart. he is only ever referred to in connection with tommy. tina is ignored constantly. quackity is the only poc streamer on the server who's given an ounce of respect, and yet his character is still misinterpreted like this because white writers want angst for their fave white boys. it fucking hurts. the abundance of fantasy racism works in this fandom only adds to this hurt. and when this is called out, people rarely listen. fandom is hostile to people of color and has been since it first started. what i want people to take away from this is to stop creating these works. stop consuming them. start listening to people of color when they say they are uncomfortable. start putting in the work to undo your own racism.

Ranboo struggled through each day, barely finding the motivation to get out of bed in the morning. It was a struggle to watch, Ranboo let his life fall apart, ripping him at the seams as it went. Techno and Phil had tried their best to coax him back into a healthier lifestyle but he never seemed to budge, simply laying in bed, only getting up when absolutely necessary.

“Ranboo, are you home?” A soft knock accompanied the delicate voice, hoping for an answer, praying for any sign of life.

“Come in.” His voice was hoarse and barely there, but she heard it, using the invitation to step into the home and out of the cold. The sight before her had her heartbreaking, the home was a wreck and so was its only inhabitant.

“Oh, Ranboo.” Niki knelt down beside the boy who was simply laying on the floor of his home, brushing a few loose strands of hair from his face as she did.

“I know you aren’t in the best mood, but I was wondering if you’d come to the nearby town with me? I need to get some food for my pets and hate to go alone. I’d ask Techno or Phil but they’re both busy.” Ranboo really did not want to get off his floor, but he knew Niki would never bother him if she really didn’t need him, and so he got up. Clambering to his feet slowly, the tall ender boy grabbed everything he felt he’d need before following the girl out of his home.

The town wasn’t far so there was no problem with walking, a little bit of snow never hurt. And while he hated to admit it, it was kind of nice to get out of his home, to walk around and listen to his friend chatter, even if he never answered back. The stroll to the town was short, the two quickly reaching the small area full of traders. There wasn’t much of value in the market area, but Niki wasn’t looking to buy anything valuable, she simply needed some animal feed.

There was something that caught Ranboo’s eye though, a stall with a sign saying ‘Hybrid’s For Sale’. Ranboo thought it was inhumane and cruel to do such a thing, he wanted to help the poor people though.

“What hybrids are you selling?”

“Only got one left, and it’s gonna cost ya.”

“How much?” Ranboo watched as the man reached beside him, lifting the cloth off the cage and revealing what was inside. It was a small boy, wearing thin clothes not fit for the chilly weather. It was clear he was an enderman hybrid as he bore similar traits to the mob. Purple eyes, largemouth, long and lanky limbs, black splotches standing out against his skin.

“If you want it, you gotta pay. And the price ain’t cheap.”

“Ranboo! I’m ready to go!” Ranboo looked to Niki, nodding and motioning that he’ll be there momentarily.

“Can I get a full look at him? Want to make sure he’s healthy before I decide.” Ranboo wasn’t sure if his plan would work, but it was worth trying. Thankfully, the man believed him, reaching over to unlock the cage and dragging the boy out. When the boy was fully out of the cage Ranboo looked him over, turning him in a circle a few times and checking him over to really sell the act.

“So, what do you think?”

“I’ll take him.” Ranboo meant it when he said take, as quickly as he could the tall man scooped up the child and ran, yelling to Niki to run. Not sure what was happening, but trusting in her friend, she ran with him, doing her best to avoid the angry villager shooting arrows in their direction. The duo ran, not stopping until they had reached a place they knew they were safe, Philza’s house.

“Phil!” Luckily the winged man had returned home at this point, his large piglin friend with him.

“Fuck!” Ranboo had just barely dodged an arrow, the sharp tip impaling the front door of Phil’s home. This caught the attention of the two men in the home, both were quick to grab their weapons. Technoblade had stormed out into the fire, quickly putting an end to the onslaught of arrows, Phil remained in the home, watching all entrances in case someone had tried to break in.

“What did you two do?” Ranboo nearly died at how terrifying Techno looked, the piglin man was clearly pissed at having to save the ass of the ender boy.

“Is that a child?” Phil was the first one to notice the small boy cradled in Ranboo’s arms.

“That guy was selling hybrid’s, he was the only one left, and rather than pay I just grabbed him and ran.” There was a silent hatred growing in the three before him, having learned just what kind of horrible person the guy was.

“Well, I don’t think he’ll be doing much of anything anymore.” No one had noticed but there were bloodstains on Techno’s sword, indicating the man had taken a hit.

“Well, I guess the bears won’t need dinner tonight.” Phil sighed before setting his weapon down, slowly approaching Ranboo and the boy.

“Can I see him?” Ranboo went to pass the small boy to Phil, only for the lot to receive a loud shriek instead. The noise pierced the ears of all except Ranboo, who recognized the noise as an aggravated enderman noise. Ranboo wasn’t sure what to do, the poor child was clinging to him as if his life depended on it.

“Hey it’s alright, we aren’t gonna hurt you.” Phil tried to talk the child down, but the poor boy just let out another aggravated noise, he clearly wasn’t understanding anything Phil was saying. In a desperate attempt to calm the small boy down, Ranboo began speaking in ender, which the boy seemed to understand.

“He understands ender but not English.”

“That’s alright, is he hungry, we might have something he likes.”
