What was it like for Joan at the soccer game?

If Joan had the ability to interpret all the nuances of human emotions than she might have noticed that Steve was a little embarrassed about her being there, but Steve’s complete and total dedication to defending Eddie and all of his eccentricities overrides everything and that is a much louder emotion.

So, when someone makes a comment about it being a soccer game and not one of Eddie’s freakshows, Steve tears the guy’s whole vibe to pieces. Joan thinks that’s for her.

She is pleased.

She is not confined to the dreaded cat stroller either since Eddie brought her less dreaded harness and leash. She used the full extend of the leash to show her appreciation for Steve standing up for her by rubbing against his leg when he’s on the bench.

Though she is not thrilled when he dumps water over his head and it gets her too. She retreats back to Ozzy, Eddie, and Nancy after that.

Joan is actually really into the game. She follows the ball, darting back and forth with it as it goes up and down the field. Though her attention gets drawn elsewhere when a butterfly flies passed her in the grass and she chases after it.

Eddie is not as appreciative as he should be when she brings it to him in two pieces.

After the first half, since there were no butterflies left to hunt and Ozzy was working, Joan curled up in between Nancy and Eddie and let the warmth of the morning sun lull her into a nice sleep.

So, in the comics, Zuko doesn't become pro colonist (because that's still an irrelevant argument) he comes to the understanding that there are both Earth Kingdom and Fire Nation people/descendants living in harmony with each other. You had the Earth King wanting to decolonize a colony that had been there for years when there were people born there with mixed nationality parents. That's kinda how America itself started by the way, so don't bring up the Colony Argument again.

The Earth King nearly went to war against Zuko because he thought it was wrong to split families up... and it is. I don't know what you mean by hurting Katara as all I remember was Aang getting pissed off because Zuko was sort of not playing the Earth King's little game.

Eventually, everyone figured out that Zuko was right about this, and that's how Repubic City got its roots (sort of. The idea is there, but you know... Bryke). So I don't really understand where you get that idea since Decolonization is pretty bad, too. I fail to see your argument as something to stand firmly on because it's not very firm.

But I mean... the Earth King pretty much wanted all Fire Nation colonists and their descendants out, which got tricky because there were a lot of children born from parents who were both. If you want to be more accurate about it to today's standards... it's the equivalent of oh gosh... a lot of countries. It's a very serious subject that doesn't need to be brought up for a ship. But you do you buddy.

It's okay. You're just jealous we are happy in our 'delusion' and 'insanity'.

Oh well.

But if someone remembers Zuko hurting Katara, please fill me in. Because I don't remember seeing it. I remember seeing her get in-between him and Aang, but I don't know. I'm not at home so I can't look.

i feel very frustrated about the trend of giving chil body hair bc if it was any other anime twink i would be thrilled its just that it seems to only be because people are SO afraid of him looking young they have to make him hairy to justify liking him in ships.

meanwhile it does directly go against canon (he literally is supposed to look like a child. this is integral to both his character and his race's lore as a whole and it makes no damn sense that he would be mistaken for a child if he has body hair i mean. cmon.)

and it's like. some men are hairless. some men look young. when youre a trans man in your 20s-30s its especially common to be mistaken for a teenager, even more so if you're not on t. and short. these traits do not make you less of a man or an adult. :/
