just some word vomit feelings about GV and s4. spoilers for sure and some s4 wishful thinking.

I thought the show was good for what it was. I enjoyed the world building and it gave me something to do while I wait for s4. I never really expected it to be much more than that.

Victoria’s appearance was kind of a letdown for me because I didn’t feel like it made sense for her to reveal herself to Marie.

that said, she and Homelander are in cahoots. Did she tell him about the kids? Did he target Marie on purpose and shoot her that little brow quirk knowing he wasn’t going to kill her? We know Homelander can control the power of his lasers, and if he wanted her dead, why would he have left her alive in that moment?

my hope for the kids is that they exist in s4 to provide additional moral grey area for the push to eliminate supes. the writing in s1-3 so aggressively demonizes all supes that it’s hard to side with them. we only ever get like, a handful of “good” supes to sympathize with. I’m all for GV helping remedy that and shine a light on how actually Evil our beloved protagonists can actually be. neither side is right.

that said, I don’t need new protagonists. I loved all of them in GV and they’re fine to me as background characters in the main show. people calling for them to be the ones to take down Homelander just strike me as caring more about how much they hate HL than the actual narrative of the show.

I want Ryan to meet supes who don’t hate themselves/their powers. I want him to realize he doesn’t have to follow in his father’s footsteps to be loved.

I like Cate! And I like Sam. I thought it was weird that the others didn’t go with them to save the other kids literally being tortured and infected with a supe killing disease. especially when it was Andre and Emma who initiated saving Sam. GV is green lit for season 2, so I know their stories won’t conclude with s4. I don’t know how regularly theyre expected to be in s4, but I have a hard time buying that they will be huge narrative focuses. I think it’s more likely they’ll serve as tools for a narrative that is trying to lean more into the themes of a series like X-Men than what we’ve seen the show do before.

I guess I have a lot of mixed feelings but ultimately I’m choosing to enjoy the ride until something that I hate actually happens.

Le chantier breton Tricat propose le Tricat 20, un trimaran pour le  plaisir de naviguer, rapidement et en famille. Le chantier breton Tricat continue de renouveler sa gamme de multicoques. Le spécialiste du trimaran à bras repliables avait présenté son nouveau trimaran, il y a quelques mois. Le nouveau Tricat 20, un trimaran de raid côtier transportable, vient compléter une gamme composée du Tricat 25 et du Tricat 30. L’autre petit trimaran du chantier, l’Access 6, sortira du catalogue courant 2019. Ce Tricat 20 est dessiné par Antoine Houdet et Jack Michal, a été mis à l'eau durant l'été 2018. Le chantier a déjà livré 4 unités et plusieurs commandes ont été enregistrées.

Tricat 20, un trimaran moderne

le Tricat 20 est un pur trimaran de raid côtier au vrai sens du terme. Comme toute la gamme du chantier, ce multicoque de 5,99 mètres se veut plaisant à naviguer, très rapide mais, dans le même temps, capable de ne pas effrayer une famille. C’est-à-dire un bateau avec un vrai plaisir de barre, rapide mais qui ne gîte pas et simple à manoeuvrer.  Un programme pas toujours évident à tenir. Mais le chantier breton nous a déjà prouvé qu’il savait le faire. Grâce à ses bras repliables, le Tricat 20 peut être transporté facilement. Indispensable pour un voilier de raid et des plaisanciers qui veulent découvrir un maximum de plans d’eau. Le chantier a, en effet, opté pour ce système déjà utilisé sur les autres bateaux de la gamme. Les bras repliables lui permettent de conserver un bon volume habitable, sans des tubes qui traversent la cabine. Dans le même temps, ils offrent plus de rigidité. La cabine, justement, offrira un couchage adulte double à l’avant, et 2 couchages enfant à l’arrière. Idéal pour naviguer en famille. Enfin le Tricat 20 est insubmersible.

Un petit multicoque bien équipé, et de qualité

Le Tricat 20 profitera du caractère de ses grands frères, familiale et rapide. Le système de bras repliables reprend le système éprouvé sur le Tricat 25. La coque et les flotteurs du Tricat 20 sont réalisés en sandwich verre Correcell polyester réalisé en infusion.  Le Safran relevable et les dérives sabres de chaque flotteur sont réalisés en carbone. Le gréement, proposé en standard, est lui aussi, de beau niveau. Le Tricat 20 est proposé avec une grand voile en Mylar à corne, avec lazzy jack, et un Solent Mylar, sur enrouleur.
