Also just thinking about how the rise boys are the YOUNGEST afaik... They don't really seem it because they're voiced by adults, as with most of the turtles, but most of the TMNT iterations start with them at 15, right? And then in Rise only Raph is 15, the twins are 14, and Mikey is 13. Like that's common knowledge I'm p sure but it still didn't really sink in until I was watching turtle-dega nights. THIRTEEN??? And if he was attacking or something then fine, he could deal with it. But no, the man is standing there, in the kitchen, cooking like it’s an everyday thing. Like sure he’s cooking angrily and Tim swears he can see some sort of eye glow in the helmet, but it’s not like he’s actually threatening any of them?? The literal crime lord has been hissing about them not having any food and being out of medical supplies and who decided to leave a bunch of teens alone to take care of themselves. Which. Rude, he’s been taking care of himself for years, and both Raven and Beast Boy have too! What type of scheme is this?!

Jason was going to go through with his attack on the Tower, he really was. But seriously, they didn’t even have any medical supplies, their cupboards were practically empty of food, and they didn’t even have any cleaning supplies. For fuck’s sake he’d gotten in so easily and it was a giant tower shaped like a T- everyone knew where it was! Obsessed with the idea that when Hunter says "Belos found me and took me in" what he means is that his earliest memory is of sitting naked half-buried in a plot of dirt in a creepy mad science murder basement and just imprinting on Belos like a baby duckling when Belos came in, informed him that he was his uncle, and gave him pants

and he has just gone his entire life assuming this was normal and unremarkable.

The hardest part of the whole charade for Belos has been keeping Hunter from receiving any kind of sex ed, because the whole plan is gonna unravel the second he finds out "dug out of the dirt like a potato at age 3-5" isn't where babies typically come from and starts asking reasonable questions. That's the real reason he wasn't allowed on the internet.
