I'm trying to keep myself so hard since it is literally fiction and not real but there is insanely toxic people in Akayona fandom, it is hard to ignore them after some point. I don't even care about getting bashed by the whole fandom at this point, i love Yona and i'm not a big fan of neither Hak or Soo-won nor the romance in series so block me if you are uncomfortable with that. This fandom has stupid double standards when it comes to only Yona and Yona ONLY, no matter what she does she is always the worst character just because she is a female protagonist and some people trying to hide behind "meaningful"(!) excuses for hating her is even funnier.

The dragons got their powers from dragon gods which means they are semi-gods, yet we don't see them beating up the villain for at least once. Kija swings his hand for a second, Jaeha breaks the ground with his foot for ONCE and they are already done. Shin-ah is already useless once he uses his eyes and look; Zeno, who is supposed to be the strongest character, a goddamn immortal yet we have never seen him ACTUALLY fighting ever. Yet, look at Hak who is a DEADLY wounded HUMAN in latest war but he doesn't die no matter what happens, instead he kills the whole ass army? On his own?? Honestly i won't be suprised at this point if it gets revealed that if Hak is immortal and stronger than Zeno. And then Yona kicking a man just for once after days of training and that becomes "unrealistic", of course, i mean it is Yona and not Hak.

I don't remember if it is ever mentioned in manga that Soo-won studied things such as politics or wars. Nor he was even worked as governor for training like how usually happened in history. And yet, in Fire Tribe Arc where he had literally 0 experience he already won a war. Don't get me wrong, i believe some people has intelligent mind about some certain topics that they are suited to do naturally but it is weird how it was obvious that Yona wasn't even going to lead the army, she was going there just for the needed support due to Soo-won's condition and people already started to shitting about her before the war even started, nobody gave her a chance and waited her to "experience" whereas no one had a problem when the same happened to Soo-won.

I don't have time to reread manga and i don't like talking about these kind of things either since i'm more of the type of person to use fiction as a way of inspiring and expressing myself. Akatsuki No Yona isn't perfectly written however i still loved it, because how it focuses on the suffering of those people who are waiting desperately for someone to hear their voices and how influentially it conveys their emotions despite being a fictional series with fantasy elements. Yona is a special character for me because she inspired and made me a much better person when i was still a fresh teenager who couldn't find any value in living and had no idea about how to find courage in myself and live for other people. So that is why i genuinely can't understand it, how people can constantly keep hating on Yona when she literally just breathes. She appears in a panel and the fandom is already like "STUPID YONQAA BOHOGOASHH YOU DON'T SHOW YOUR LOVE TO HAK AND YOU BREATJED THE SAME AIR AS SOO WON 😡😡 YOU B*TCH" I have even seen somebody stubbornly keep repeating that Hak is underrated and gets the most hate in fandom. Lol, no. The most hated character is Soo-won, followed by Yona.

I've written this to get rid of the stress inside of me after seeing a toxic *i usually hate using this word but honestly they deserve at this point* Hak stan on Kusanagi's Twitter again. I didn't care at allback then when i saw them in a platform for the first time and thought they just like a character probably because of special reasons just like how i love Yona but no, they are calling themselves a Hakyona fan yet never stops shitting on Yona because she doesn't show love to Hak enough. They even said Yona is fine about being engaged to Soo-won...? Look, i don't even care about the romance in manga, but this really sounds like a joke and i'm questioning if we are reading the same manga. You can like romance or simp for your favorite male characters HOWEVER obviously, if they aren't the main priority in this manga, stop hating on a fictional female character whenever she breathes, it is not normal. I don't even understand how you can ship the very special love of your life with a character you hate to death. I actually even think it is because they see Yona as self insert at this point lol. Yona has her own character so if you want to see her smooching with Hak 24/7, go write your own reader fanfics and make fanarts of yourself and Hak. Calling her Mary Sue or "perfect" then hating her for not being "perfect" and having normal human traits doesn't make any sense at all. She is not only just an 16 year old girl trying to stand on her own feets after losing both of her parents, but also someone that is trying to be light of hope for her people despite already having enough issues for herself. I'm not even talking about how the family she found after losing everything she had, passed off her condition by saying things like "Yona is strong, she can do it" when she was suffering with her trauma all alone in castle.

Hak is an adult man, not a child. Yes, they are a couple but they can't flirt 24/7 for the sake of your stupid fantasies that craves nothing other than cringe romance, especially when the manga is built on a fantasy world that focuses on serious topics from real life.

I have. Some mixed feelings about the kny s3 finale

#this is the case for the rest of the season too tbh #it definitely wasnt bad but it definitely wasnt as good as the last two either #and it wasnt as good as i was hoping for after reading the manga #but for this ep specifically #it was mostly good! but some parts were disappointing #particularly the scene leading up to the nezuko reveal #it was SO good the tension was PERFECT i was on the edge of my seat despite being a manga reader #and knowing exactly what was gonna happen #but.. then all that tension was pretty much ruined by the needlessly long flashback compilation #i literally had to skip through it cause it was just dragging on so much #that was by far the worst part of the whole show so far lmao #overall i think id have to give this episode a 7/10 and the season an 8/10 #kny #kimetsu no yaiba #demon slayer #seri speaks

These Weeks in BL - This Is Very Late, Or Right on Time depending on where you sit on the temporal debate team

Sorry I got distracted by work. In my defense: I was paid.

Organized, in each category, with ones I'm enjoying most at the top.

March 2024 Wk 1 & 2

Ongoing Series - Thai

Cherry Magic (Sat YouTube grey) ep 12 fin - Unfortunately, there was singing. But what can we do?

A soft charming warm hug of a show about crushes and mind reading and self worth, with no-fuss execution from a consummate team and an OG lead pair proving why they remain eternal and deserve to grow up. Look, here’s the thing, Cherry Magic is a great Thai BL in its own right not comparing it to any other iteration. But even when I do compare (and I've seen all the Cherries and read the manga) it still stands. This is a great show, a solid adaptation, and a pleasing take on the original yaoi. I personally like it better than the Japanese live action, but I think that’s because I just really like Thai BL and I LOVE TayNew. I doubted them for this and I shouldn’t have. They did a great job, as did the sides. I will say all the kissing was both present and better than any other iteration. As it should be. Definitely one for the rewatch rotation. 9/10

Deep Night (Thurs iQiyi) ep 1 of 8 (10?) - Damn it, I love it. And I don't want to. It’s more classic BL than I thought it would be, and far less Only Friends or Playboyy. (Thank fuck.) We got a big cast and a lot of tropes going down out the gate, including SMITTEN popular hot guy versus nerd with secret identity. (Incidentally, Khem did drop into rude / informal when arguing with his Aunt and defending his ma. Bratty boy.) The leads have good chemistry (First always does), and everyone is very pretty. The main boy reminds me of J-Min's role (and look) in Love Class 2. I am entertained. (And faintly wonder why this isn't a MosBank vehicle.)

To Be Continued (Thai C3 Thailand grey) eps 1-3 of 8- High school sweethearts who had a bad break up reunite a decade later when both of them have full time jobs (celebrity & doctor). Dr Ji is a familiar face (hi Dream it's been a LONG time) and everyone is way too old for high school, but I guess I prefer this to child actors?

I'm enjoying it, actually, the cast may be older but they're solid as a result and the chemistry is on point for a pulp. Whether our celebrity is on the DL or cheating or something else remains to be seen but he sure is smitten. The way he LOOKS at Ji = hawt.

Frankly? Celebrity/doctor is a good pairing and this is a solid Thai BL. I hope we have a nice angsty reason for the break-up and we're not in another Promise situation. I like the sides too. Carry on, little show, I'm disposed to be pleased with you.

City of Stars (Fri iQIYI) eps 5-6 of 12 - I am enjoying it, actually. It’s incredibly silly. But I don’t really mind. STOP SINGING.

1000 Years Old eps 3-4 of 12 - I love that these kids basically adopted a vampire pet. And one of them accidentally got a vampire boyfriend. This suddenly turned from a PNR into a family drama about domestic gays opening a food stall and I'm not mad about it. Nothing makes sense and I don't care because... rainbow umbrella!

A Secretly Love (Thai WeTV grey) eps 1 of 10 - I don’t love it. I make no bones about the fact that a pining uke rarely works for me, especially if he’s younger (cute supportive besties not withstanding), the power dynamic isn’t good. I always like Kimmon, he’s a stiff actor but v pretty. (I shallow af.) Still it’s time he started acting his age… literally. Having to watch ads again as well… for this? Ooof. I'm not sure I'm strong enough.

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Perfect Propose (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 6 fin - It was very cute. I liked that there was uke instigated kisses. However I have some reservations on this one, much as I enjoyed it.

Adapted from Mayo Tsurakame’s manga, production team included Tadaaki Horai (My Love Mix-Up!) and Takeshi Miyamoto (Old Fashion Cupcake). Essentially Perfect Propose was about finding hope in a person when all other hope is gone. This show focuses on apathy, and perforce is somewhat apathetic and un-engaging especially as the pacing was off (and with only 6 episodes? now) However, this is countered by great visuals, good archetypes, and a clean story of childhood sweethearts reuniting after loosing their way in life. I landed on 8/10 mostly for a demanding younger seme and some great kisses.

Unknown (Taiwan Tues Youku YouTube) eps 2-3 of 11 - Oh it’s great. I love it. I’m still worried by how gritty and "Taiwanese short-esk" it feels, but wow does this hit all my favorite taboo tropes and buttons. I also adore the little found fam, they the cutest gay older bros ever. The younger one who wants so bad to grow up and take care of the older one and pushes himself because into self sacrifice that’s the only model of love he has. ARGH. BOYS. Why so much pain, just smooch already! Sheesh. It's on YouTube for some of us, here's the schedule.

AntiReset (Taiwan Fri Viki/Gaga) eps 6-7 of 10 - They remain questionably cute, and that is probably going to be my ultimate review of this show. Awe cameo! (Hi babies, hope the ghosts are leaving you alone.) The irony does not escape me that the person in the relationship with the most emotional acumen is, in fact, the robot and not the human. I'm sure that's meant to be deep.

Love is Better the Second Time Around AKA Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto (Japan Gaga) ep 1 of 6 - A tortured second chance romance featuring a reported and a successful celebrity(?) academic. The kid actors look nothing like their adult counterparts, but they do look much younger. So, okay. Ah the utter embarrassment of first love. Oh I like it a lot, so very messy Japanese emo. Sigh. Here we go again.

Although I Love You and You AKA Sukiyanen Kedo Do Yaro ka (Japan Thurs Gaga) eps 8-9 of 10 - They are a cute couple. They both trying so hard and so confused and awkward and polite in trying to understand each other but TERRIBLE at communication.

My Strawberry Film (Japan Thurs Gaga) eps 3-4 of 8 - I don’t know how I feel about this. But I do know it’s not my thing because it’s not BL. I’ll finish it because it’s short but… meh.

What Did You Eat Yesterday Season 2 AKA Kinou Nani Tabeta? Season 2 (Japan Gaga) 10 eps - will binge when I have any spare time. 2024 is crazy busy for me so far.

The Servant and the Young Master (Vietnam YouTube) - I will try when I have a window of time.

Began Beginning (Myanmar YouTube) - A Burmese BL? @heretherebedork vouched for it, so I will watch eventually.

It's airing but...

Dead Friend Forever (Thai iQIYI) - finished it's run and I won't be watching it. It's horror with BL elements and the ending, well, let's just say that's a "no thank you" from me.

Ossans Love Season 2 (Japan Gaga) - 5 years later, will anything have changed? This is Japan so… no. I'm not watching this. I dislike this franchise.

Time the series (Tue Gaga/YT) 10 eps - dropped it at ep 4.

Takumi-kun (2023) movie version AKA Takumi-kun Series 6: Nagai Nagai Monogatari no Hajimari no Asa released on FOD 3/5/2024. The original project was a 6 ep series. Having seen all the previous iterations and read the (terrible) yaoi I admit to being intrigued. If anyone finds eng subbed please let me know with a link in comments or in a DM? Phupha (Gun) and Khram (Nat) love each other but Phupha is murdered. Then Khram is pulled to a parallel world where, 12 years ago, Khram and Tai (Max) were in love. However, Khram was killed by Thai’s dad. Now Tai finds alter-Khram apparently alive. But then there is ALSO an alter-Phupha (played by Gun Thanawat who is Khom the repressed butler bodyguard from Unforgotten Night).

Been thinking about Nightfall wanting to "awaken the heart buried within Twilight" and I'm like... how exactly is she planning on doing that? It doesn't look like she really understands Twilight, she only sees the idolized image of him that she's built in her mind.

Her only ambitions driving her to perfection (and, to her credit, she does actually achieve a great level of physical discipline that a spy needs to survive) are the ones of her ending up as Twilight's real wife and life partner. She doesn't seem to share any of his dreams, she doesn't even seem to appreciate a possible world where children are happy - which is Twilight's core motivation, so ingrained in him that he kept fighting for it even when he hadn't actively thought about it for a long time.

The reason Yor and Anya are the ones awakening his feelings is because they are way more connected to his ambitions and motivations. Anya reminds him of himself and how important it is to him to protect children's innocence and happiness. Yor has similar motivations, and he actually, canonically thinks of her as someone suitable to inherit the world he wants to create, and maybe I'm taking a bit of liberty here by saying he probably wishes he'd had someone like her to protect him when he was young and defenseless.

So, without even trying, just by being themselves, Yor and Anya connect with him and awaken all the emotions that have motivated him as a spy from the very start. Nightfall has literally dedicated her entire existence to becoming the perfect partner for Twilight, but in her effort to become perfect she has completely lost what actually matters to the man behind the Twilight spy persona. In fact, she may have actually ended up at the opposite side. She believes that after the war Twilight will want to reminisce over old times and tour old battlefields with her when we as the audience keep getting hints that he finds no pride or happiness in being a spy, other than having the chance to protect the world.

Nightfall is hard to relate to not only because she's mean and selfish. It's also because she has dedicated herself to a false, empty promise that was based on Twilight's fame. I'm guessing Twilight never shared his inner feelings and motivations that drove him to become a spy, so Nightfall has no idea how much of a sensitive person he really is, beneath all the masks he puts on. And she's doing all that in an effort to make him notice her, praise her, and eventually choose her as his romantic partner, but everything about it is hopeless.

In a way it's a very interesting way to present her character, as she's willingly becoming a Satellite Love Interest, and everything about her plan, from mistaking Twilight's motivations and personality, to treating Yor and Anya horribly, to reaching for a goal the audience knows is unachievable shows why you can't be like that in reality. I could even say it's a commentary and satire of Satellite Love Interests, making a brilliant example of how such characters can work if they're consciously written that way.

Dazai when he fucks up his plans lies out of his ass as if trying to convince everyone it was all part of his plan.

In the Lovecraft fight he keeps talking about Chuuya's condition getting worse with time because Lovecraft takes too long to be defeated. He doesn't take his eyes off Chuuya the whole time. And then he lies to Chuuya that he was too busy being entertained.

In stormbringer the first thing he asks Adam is where Chuuya was, making it obvious that he expected him to have been rescued or safe at this point. But when he isn't there he starts blabbering about how he wants to see him tortured and he is totally on time. He even goes and tells Chuuya "oh I was planning on saving you before the torture happened but then I decided to wait" etc. And he knows the torture can lead to Chuuya snapping and goes on about how they need to get to Chuuya cause if he snaps and kills N he will be a lost cause and Dazai wants to "see him suffer as a human". Then again in sb he doesn't say a word when Verlaine literally blows the roof out and flies off cause he had no idea he could do that. And again in sb Dazai is floundering when the large number of ability users start dying because he did not expect Verlaine to be this strong, then he has a moment when Verlaine goes godzilla mode and when Chuuya uses corruption Dazai refuses to take his eyes off him, keeping track of his injuries. Makes you wonder how much of his plan in sb was trial and error, did he think the flags could potentially hold Verlaine off? Maybe he thought Adam would get to Chuuya on time but he didn't.

Sb sort of just proves that Dazai isn't this all knowing perfect plotter.

Similarly did he know Chuuya wasn't a vampire before the elevator? I doubt it cause his manga expressions are very reminiscent of how he acts in the manga when he gets blindsided or one upped in any way. Multiple times he is shown being particularly pissed at Fyodor and at no point does Dazai make it into an actual joke. His response to Chuuya showing up is angry and stressed out, his plan against Fyodor seems like it was intended to be an attempt to actually kill him because he makes it pretty clear he had no way to open the doors (Sigma's ability works on the dead). His speech is very honest and the flashbacks make zero sense because who would they fool? And he intended to get back to Fyodor's body after with Sigma to get the info. Maybe Dazai hoped Chuuya would have survived by using the whole flour idea in 15, using his gravity to move the water that touches his face away just enough to breathe. And then when the elevator thing happened and he possibly began suspecting Chuuya was on his side, he just started being a little bitch about things and later decided to act like everything with Chuuya was always a part of his plan.

They called you a Star..quite literally. You were the perfect little wife for Satoru Gojo. The Gojo clan saw you as only fit for their little one at the time. Your family sold you off quite quickly, didn’t they? You remember looking at the little arrogant boy while he stared back at you with nothing good in his eyes. Scared as you held your mother’s hand while herself and your father did the signing of papers. Leaving was the hardest. There was a tight feeling in your chest when around Satoru Gojo. That must be the Star in you.

It was said long, long ago, another Star like yourself was also compatible with someone of the Six eyes. They had loved, tied together by the forces of the universe, a string connecting them of an unspoken reason. It’s said the two together would create the most powerful being. Those two did not make it to that point. Star’s were uncommon. Taking centuries and centuries and centuries to have another one, the world simply stopped depending on the rare creation. However, the Gojo clan took action early.

So..as you stood now, standing there in front of the home, you held your hand to your chest. That same aching feeling you once had so, so long ago returned. A wife! You had heard many things about Satoru Gojo as a sorcerer. Very strong..the strongest. You were quite strong too. Being a Star- the only one seen fit to be his other half.

You watched him appear before you. Grinning. It was suffocating. Everything felt tight, your chest, it hurt almost. You hated anything to be tense, but it had made do. It was right. It’s as it’s supposed to be, as it had been for years.

You had fallen quite quickly, however, with the idiot Satoru was you bickered quite a bit. Friends. You became friends before lovers. Once married it got worse, but he never made you anything but happy. Satoru had admitted to you that he also had a tight feeling in his chest. It felt lighter when he left to go be the teacher that he is, but it also longed for you when he was away. You felt the same. No one apart from the both of you and your families knew you were married, you didn’t mind it being that way. Going out in Tokyo without anyone bothering you..

You’d see him sometimes with his students, though. It was cute, watching him annoy them as much as he does you. A best friend he became. When he came home, you always had something new to show him. Gojo admired the light in your eyes while you attempted to cook, something new you picked up. You were a spoiled child, not having much to do for yourself. By the next weekend he’d come home, you’d have something new to show. This time it was something crafty like crochet. Satoru loved every little bit of every little thing you picked up. He enjoyed the time you spent together, always.

He even apologized for the state you were in, neither of you having the choice, but as he said… “I don’t think I can imagine anyone else other than you.”

You loved him. He loved you. He was is your husband for fucks sake. Satoru Gojo. He told you everything when he could. You learned about his best friend Geto, about his old battles. You learned about Megumi and what he meant in Satoru’s life, as well as his father. You learned of Yuji Itadori and his situation, and of Nobara and how much Satoru secretly spoiled her. You learned of curses you hadn’t known about as well.

He told you things about your cursed energy that you wouldn’t dare use. As powerful as you were, you were also destructive. That didn’t change you- you’d never become a sorcerer anyways.

One thing you did find out, though, was that loving Satoru Gojo was hard. You loved him but everyone else did, too, and if they didn’t, they wanted to kill him. He always came home taking about the day, about the things he’s encountered without a scratch. You were always there to watch how he acted mentally. The real him. The one that frowned when he talked about how stressed he felt after a battle- about how much he hated the situation going on at the school- his life. Satoru Gojo wished things were different all the time.

“If it were up to me, we’d all be somewhere safer. All of us. What do you think about..I don’t know- abandoned island bought with the Gojo clan’s funds all to ourselves and then we bring everyone, start a village, tax them, and then start this big economy and make bucket loads?!”

He was insane that Satoru Gojo. It made your heart hurt, knowing that someday..things won’t always be so bright and sunny outside. You loved the sun, it was always such a nice day at your home. You started gardening and kept at it, always showing Satoru your little cucumbers growing.

“Someday,” He had said to you once, “that’ll be you.”

The sun was such a thing for you. It shined on him..you loved it. He was truly a beautiful soul. Until one day it rained, thundering. You hated the thunder, but Satoru had took care of it. The first time..he had took care of you in that way. His heavy pants against your ear, hands intertwined with yours. Your eyes, filled to the brim with pleasureful tears, Satoru’s cock slipping past your tight ring. You were warm. Engulfing him inside of your heated body. You had moaned his name, trembling. He took his time, explored every inch of your body. Filling you…and then again. It was a rainy weekend, and Satoru wanted to stay there for eternity.

You started to love the rain after that. You loved Satoru. He loved you.

Upon her introduction to the series Kagami’s main weapon of choice is a foil, a sort of light weight blunted fencing rapier. This is however possibly also intended as a pun, because her purpose in the narrative is also a foil.

A word repeated changes it’s meaning.

Kagami means “mirror” in Japanese and as is often the case in fiction, that name gives us some insight to what the writers intended when imagining her. In this case, she’s a mirror/foil to both our main protagonists. But since Marinette and Adrien are already a Yin Yang couple, built on complimenting and contrasting each other all the way down to having their color schemes be each other’s negatives. So how does she manage to mirror them both?

Well, where is the mirror between you and your reflection? Right in the middle. She shows each of them themselves, but with a little bit reversed.

A foil exists to provide contrast; When Marinette’s too afraid to make a move Kagami’s bold and rushes straight ahead, when Adrien struggles to disobey his father her strong and stubborn will stands firm, when Marinette’s trying to self sabotage her best friends day contest Kagami’s making an earnest effort with Adrien’s quirky friend who he suggested she might like, when Adrien and Luka are too stunned to help up Marinette she makes her move, when Ladybug has a plan for a stealthy escape Ryuuko boldly attempts to fight Ikari Gozen, when Marinette’s clumsy and disoriented Kagami’s athletic and skilled, and when Adrien is unable to effectively comment why he can’t always be present for her Kagami is able to express why that lack of honesty won’t work for her.

A silvery foil is what gives a mirror it’s reflective surface, the things reflected on the other side will still match.

The Cat and Ladybug miraculouses always find each other through fate? Well Adrien and Kagami were literally made for each other.

She high society like Adrien.

She struggles to communicate and express herself like Marinette.

Adrien’s an anime nerd? Kagami reads manga and bases relationship advice off of them.

Marinette hates liars? Kagami’s reason for breaking up with Adrien also led to her becoming an Akuma that embodies her hatred for dishonesty.

She revels in tiny bits of rebellion with Adrien.

She tries to capture the world around her through art and even sketches and paints in her spare time like Marinette, she even paints with Marinette.

She tries to wingman for Adrien with Marinette like how Marinette tried to help her back together with him

She’s burdened by familial expectations like Adrien

She had a helmet removal scene that was literally copied for Marinette, both even happen at the front of the school

Ryuuko’s fighting style matches Chat’s, her main color scheme matches Ladybug’s, and her civilian attire has a white overcoat with a black under shirt like Adrien’s that give a perfect white/black futatsutomoe (☯️) with Marinette’s black jacket over a white shirt.

She’s obviously visually inspired by Marinette’s overall design with her hair and even her freckles are more prominent on the opposite side of her face than where Marinette’s are(Kagami has more overall but her’s are mainly on the left side of her face while Marinette’s are on the right)

When Adrien’s only parent is his father she’s left with only her mother

When Marinette has several friends to fall back on Kagami feels alone and when Adrien feels isolated Kagami’s there alongside his other friends

When we start to get clues about who is a senti-being we get scenes of both Kagami and Adrien

Both Marinette and Kagami have arcs about setting their own feelings aside to support the other

Both Adrien and Kagami have their image co-opted by their parents for a soulless ai assistant copy of themselves.

She even counterbalances their heroics by having some of the most akuma forms and by being one of the fastest to reveal her own identity

A foil has many uses in a narrative, and by letting her be a counterpart to two protagonists at once it has allowed her to become one of the most dynamic and fleshed out characters in the show, even if a lot of that was in service of fleshing out other characters. Heck she even mirrors herself in ways, just look at how Ryuuko’s symbol flows counter to the Tsurugi family crest, she’s a break from tradition and what was intended for her.

I know I’m probably still forgetting things but I just wanted to have a little rant about how I love these themes.

Kagami is a mirror, she is a foil, a word repeated.

- How!? Buddha's world light's up once you enter the room. - Buddha is definetly one of the more smarter yanderes, he could actually manage to manipulate you into giving up your crush. Yeah, he might stalk and spy on you in secret but he'll project his yandere tendencies onto you. Saying how he's concerned with YOUR obsessive behavior (all while keeping his own a secret) and manipulating you saying it was selfish of you to hold onto them when they want someone else. He asks: "Do you truly love them? Because if you were, you'd let them find their happiness...even if it doesn't include you..."

- If he manages to get through to you, perfect! He just needs to capture your interest which isn't hard (look at that man and tell me you wouldn't fall in love, I dare you) since he'd help you recover from your broken heart and put all the broken pieces together. He is now the one you look at during fights, he is now the one you devote your endless love too, and it gives him such an ego boost.

- Yeah, maybe he didn't take his own device but in his defense; you were already the perfect and ideal match for him and he knew you'd love him back...he just had to get rid of the little nuisance that was keeping you from realizing your true feelings.

- If there is the slight chance you do realize he's trying to manipulate you or that your feelings are too strong for your crush, he will just straight up tell you that they DO NOT LOVE YOU. THEY WILL NEVER LOVE YOU. NOT THE WAY HE DOES. Why...why can't you see that???

- No, he was upset at everyone around you. Those who talked down to you, looked down at you for how you acted (even though you couldn't help but be a living symbol of elegance and perfection) but if they had watched you like Poseidon had, that you were far from what they thought about you. You were mighty and you were strong, especially for those who you loved.

- He wanted to romance you, he truly did. He showed his softer self to you when he was able to be around you and tried his best to not look so intimidating but it just wasn't enough. For some reason, that disgusting person you adored was taking Poseidon's place in your heart. It was their fault he couldn't court you like how he wanted because they somehow made you obsessed with him!

- He had to resort to such nasty methods. Maybe he kidnapped your sister like how Toneri did and made you marry him to garuntee her safety. Maybe he threatened to use his position as a God to make sure your little crush suffers, hell, you did kill one of his fellow Gods so he's sure he could get some other God's in targeting your crush as revenge.

- He hated seeing that fearful look on your face but when you finally submitted to him, he couldn't deny it made his heart beat faster. He knows you only went because you care too much about people but he isn't too upset because he knows, after a while, you will realize that HE is the one you should be obsessed with and loyally devoted to because unlike that pathetic human, he will return it ten fold♡

Yandere! Loki x Hinata Hyuga! Reader:

- Aw, you're a pathetic little mouse, aren't you?~ You started out as an obsession right off the bat to him, honestly. Your eyes are what caught his attention but you were so timid and neglected, poor thing♡ He approached you long before the fights started but saw you during the preparations of the whole thing and ah, you were simply too adorable to resist.

- But then when he sees you fight with the Gentle Fist technique for the first time then he is obsessed with you, so the little mouse does have some fight in her, huh? And yet, as soon as the battle is over and he pins you to the wall after your victory. You start to get nervous and stutter and he chuckles and murmurs a: "How precious~" before he lets you scamper off like the cute mouse you are.

- He borders on the line of being all lovey dovey with you and being absolutely mean to you. Like, you're upset because you realized Brunhilde meant to pick your sister instead and asked if you were willing to trade but you just tried to argue that you can handle it...well, tried. You ended up nearly in tears so Brunhilde left to "give you sometime to think it over." which really meant she just couldn't deal with you.

- "Aw, poor little mouse, once more; only the second choice to their big sister." Loki teased. You tried to wipe your tears, not wanting him to he mean to you like he usually is but you couldn't stop them. He just feigns another sound of sympathy as he reaches over and brushes your tears away with his thumb and squishes your face cutely as he smiles, "If it helps, I think that you're much better than your big sister. She's so mean and boring, but you're simply adorable."

- His bullying can also stem from the fact that you love someone other than him, which pisses him off. Usually, he'd be angry at you but he's even angrier when he sees that the person you've given your heart too DOESN'T EVEN WANT IT. AND YET YOU NEVER GIVE UP TRYING TO PROVE YOURSELF WHEN LOKI IS RIGHT THERE. Okay maybe he's a little mad at you but only because despite your all-seeing eye, HE IS BETTER FOR YOU. Yes he's a little mean but that's just because he loves you♡

- He'll bully your crush out of you too. Mocking you for wanting someone who doesn't want you, how you should just give up on them because they're never going to notice you, not the way that Loki does. They will never love you.

- And as your once more crying from his hurtful words, he once more pulls you into a gentle and loving hug and nuzzles his face into your neck: "Aw, they're never gonna want you. Not when that girl is a much better match for them. So you should just give up and be with me instead! I can be so much more for you♡"

- He truly does envy your crush, though. When you're not being sad, you truly are beautiful. The shy yet dreamy smiles you have, the way your eyes flare with admiration and pure love, your face becoming so beautiful that no painting or photo could truly capture your beauty. Loki gets upset when he gets reminded that its not for him.

- He will shape-shift into your crush sometimes as a cruel joke but you never fall for it because of your eyes, but he'll taunt you with it and be all: "Would you give me a kiss now, (Y/n)? Hmm? If I looked like them? If I acted like them?" and you just look him dead in the eyes, your confidence coming out as you glare and say: "No, because my heart belongs to them. And you will never be them."

- You're so pathetic in his eyes. He could destroy you for talking to him like that and you both knew it, yet you risked it all because you loved this person with such passion from the depths of your heart. You fought for humanity not just because it was right but because they'd be destroyed along with it and you'd never let any harm come to them. You will unfailingly run to them again and again just to get your heartbroken but you're willing to endure it because you love them. And as Loki feels what could only be described as heartbreak from your words, he realizes that you've made him just as pathetic as you are...
