Gang my love of house of leaves has hit me once again so I must combine it with the dteam anyway here are some headcannons on how the three of them would react to the house

George

• the guy I had the hardest time figuring out

• he would be the most like Karen i think in denial trying to stay calm refusing to go in

• for the bit I think he would go in but only the initial hallway once it started expanding he would refuse

• (spoilers for HOL) now while not 2 many people die in the book (I think only 2 are actually eaten by the hallway) i think george would sorry guys but he would lets be real here he would be that one trope where he finally faces his fears only to die at said fears hand

• he wouldn't go crazy. He wouldn't face the minotaur. He would fall into the black.

Sapnap

• not the worst to figure out mix between the navidson Brothers me thinks, doesn't fully understand whats going on but has this curiosity in him that can easily be crushed as soon as something bad happens

• wants to figure it out but also is hesitant in going too far

• would be the first to explore the hallway

• would be the first to find the hallway

• he would totally try to goad George in thats just how it works not my fault they act like that

• he gets lost for a few days on one of their expeditions a door closes when he walks through locking him in.

• he gets out with minor injuries but is convinced that there is something in the there

• refuses to even set foot in that house again especially after he hears noises that should only be heard in that hallway

• camps out in the backyard because he's loyal to a fault and won't leave until they all decide to hes going to wish he was inside at the end (maybe he could have caught George)

Dream

• the titular bitchular

• easiest to figure out in my opinion hes navidson obsessed doesn't fully care for the danger till its right in his face cares so so much about everyones safety but the demons in him want to explore

• even though sapnap had gotten lost Dreams been in there the longest

• hes gone the furthest especially after Sapnap got lost he needed to find him

• the spiral is what gets him it just keeps going and going up and down and up and down in the same way and he loses it

• dream while trying to understand the house would go insane

• he finds Sapnap (they found eachother)

• dream thinks he's the minotaur in the maze

• Dream would have ran directly into that black void but george got to it first

• him and sapnap leave the house not understanding anything both with this new bone deep fear and a missing part of themselves that they will never acknowledge cause doing so means its all real and that it was both their faults the house got him
