I don’t understand how people fail to see the beauty in therianthropy.
A human body whos soul is one of an animal. Or whos mind is one of an animal. (or both.) Intertwined with nature. Their spirit bonded to a creature who their body fails to be. Limited by the flesh and form of an animal that is not fully themself.
A being whos calling is away from modern society and belongs to the forest, the savanna, the prairie, the valley, the skies, the mountains.
Whos instincts are mixed with different creatures, giving them both advantage and disadvantages against the world around them.
And shifts, where they can feel where their lost body parts used to be. Where they can let their mind change into the full instincts of another.
“Oh but its cringe!” “Its weird!”
No, it’s beautiful. Its mystical. It’s something that feels straight out of fantasy books.
Its odd to not embrace it because its “different”.

I will never, never!
Get over how little traction this ship got in the K fandom…😣
Mikoto literally became a nuclear ticking time bomb when Totsuka was killed. He lasted TEN DAYS! TEN FUCKING DAYS without him.
He wore an earring with his blood to remember him!
Totsuka was the only one who could get through Mikotos flames without being hurt and the only one Mikoto would listen to!
Mikoto would be ready to go apeshit and Totsuka would be like hey king maybe not? And wild af Mikoto would be like oh yea ok maybe not…
When Totsuka dies Mikoto is essentially like ok now it’s time for the world to burn then…
And when Mikoto dies who does he think of?! TOTSUKA (front and centre) you can’t make this shit up!
Tumblr media
I come back to the ship for the pain sometimes and my god it’s one of the most tragic ships around and I’m always racking my brain as to how they weren’t insanely popular!

how are you doing to look me in my EYES and tell me sskk aren't soulmates??? be that platonically or romantically. they're like the two people who would always be a duo/around each other in every single timeline. ever. they're LITERALLY yin and yang. atsushi is white hair with a bit of black in his hair. akutagawa is black hair with a bit of white in his hair. in this, akutagawa is yin and atsushi is yang.
HOWEVER, you could also take it the opposite ways where atsushi = tiger (Byakko! literally a white TIGER) and akutagawa = dragon (his first letters of his name is 'ryuu' = dragon). in this tho atsushi = yin and akutagawa = yang.
EITHER WAY they're meant to be together, they balance each other out. You cannot have yin without yang, you cannot have atsushi without akutagawa. you cannot tell me that the character design wasn't done on purpose to compliment each other, okay? i will not have that. you could argue against the ryuu one bcz they're already named after authors but the rest of it just seems too coincidental.
anyway they ARE soulmates.

I wanna say that the fact thee ORV fandom makes Kim Dokja unable to cook is such a tragedy man
Like Kim Dokja was so happy when cooked something that Yoo Joonghyuk somewhat approved of! That's such a shoujo thing!!! Practicing making the man's favourite food, and with baited breath for Yoo Joonghyuk's reaction! That's so shoujo romantic vibes right there!
Now I'm just thinking:
Just in a modern AU (no scenario), both idiots are pinning but dont know how to communicate, so they decide to impress their crush with homemade food, and they're both ass at it at the beginning but then gets better, but they're both stubborn mulls, so they try to force feed reach other, and the misconception and believing that their sabotaging one another, they're like, "Are you trying to say my cooking is worse then yours?" And "is my cooking not good enough... which is why he keeps trying to give me his own cooking...."
And they start making this cooking thing into a competitive thing in the classic jdj miscommunication
*sighs dreamily* they're so fucking stupid
Edit (additional notes):
Kim Dokja is 100% the type of cook that would forget to make a portion for himself if he was making food for more than 3 people
And I can see that he's a good cook but sometimes he puts a thing in the oven and forgets about it cuz he didn't set a timer and got distracted by his webnovel, and that's how he almost burns down the apartment

yknow, i dont see this talked about a lot within the tism community
if someone youre with stims, whether youre neurotypical or not, at least for me, dont point it out.
i grew up in a world where those sudden bursts of movements, those little actions, the stimming, the anything, gets you strange looks. thinking outside of the box gets you punished. i have learned to be ashamed, and have learned its against public norms (which if you violate those, from what ive been taught, youre a freak)!
im trying to break free from the mindset of “stimming is abnormal and you shouldnt do it in public” (only applied towards myself), and frankly its hard!
so even when a fellow autistic person or maybe a neurotypical points out “hey wow, youre stimming!” “hey you seem awfully happy!” “youre talking a lot today!” “you seem really fidgety!” i immediately get this horrible and burning sense of shame, even if it was meant positively!
i feel like its important to talk about not only normalizing things like these, but talking about the effects this culture has had on neurodivergent people! i feel like we need to hear from people who are still actively struggling to re-learn that its okay to be their own normal, even if it isnt societies normal.
not to trauma dump, but everything i mostly described up there was things that happened to me in the 7th grade! im a freshman in college currently, and frankly ive made very little progress in healing, which is okay! but people should learn and understand that simple things like those effect people for a LIFETIME.
you don’t automatically gotta learn to accept yourself, and that its okay to be ‘weird’ in public! it takes time and a lot of hard work, especially if its been chiseled into the deepest parts of your brain. dont bash yourself for being too shy to stim or too embarrassed in public by it, take it bit by bit!
this isnt really a complaint post because i love seeing all the positivity in these communities as of lately! but do try and be considerate of people who are still fighting their way out of that mindset! maybe take a little second to ask yourself if pointing out someones ND behavior is needed! theres still a lot of shame in a lot of people, including me, and thats an okay thing to have.
be aware of others shame and help them realize its normal to do all those things by not pointing it out! the less you point it out, at least for me, the more normal it makes it

I think Max and Charles have a high level of respect for one another.
It, at times, feels to me like reporters are poking charles to say something degrading about Max, but he wont. Hes always very respectful and enjoys racing hard against Max. They both do.
And on the other hand there is Max, always praising Charles every opportunity he gets. So beautiful.
Thats what I want to see in sports.
I dont care for some athletes to always put the other down, to talk negatively about their competitors. Of course its easier at a smaller scale like 20 drivers, but still.
I feel like most of the grid these days is respectful like that. I wish some fans would follow their example.

You know what bugs me in the morality battle in fiction, between the good guy with the power of friendship and a bad guy. Where the good guy is portrayed as a victim and the bad guy as an abuser.
The fictionalized good guy doesn't sound like a victim of abuse.
Weird thing to say, I know, borderline inappropriate. And I definitely think I'm being partially close-minded. However, these sorts of sentences always left me confused:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I think I know why now.
It left me confused because I couldn't see how it could hurt the bad guy. What was the point. The bad guy didn't feel or need love, and they always had huge amounts of friends or servants. They could get love if they wanted. If anything, shouldn't the good guy... be the one who's afraid of never knowing love or friendship?
These morality attacks, from the good guy to the bad guy, don't work on most real-life abusers. Either because they don't care, or they don't feel threatened. It sounds confusing because that's not something a victim would say to an abuser, when abusers usually are those who are charismatic and accepted enough to be enabled in their abuse by others, while the victim is isolated.
I'm not much for guessing the author's mindset from what's written in their fictional work. But I think that literary criticism encompasses this:
What Harry said here may reflect what a toxic narcissist such as JKR sees as the ultimate emotional weapon.
What Harry said doesn't hurt because that's the ultimate retribution from a victim to an abuser.
It hurts because that's what an abuser says to their victim:
You're weak and pathetic. You'll never know love or friendship. And you will die alone, because everybody hates you.
At least Harry had friends and the knowledge his parents loved him to the death.
It's frustrating to see how the underdog heroes -- the victims of abuse -- can always rely on the power of friendship. They don't lose friends because of their own weird, broken behavior. They don't get trapped in toxic relationships with narcissistic predators. They don't have to feel so lonely, unworthy and unlikable. How to relate to them?
Loneliness is hell, indeed. Voldemort succumbs to it.
And I'm not siding with Voldemort here, who was never hurt by Harry's words. But I can't connect to Harry when he says something that hurts me.
Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love.
"I don't want you to pity me" -- probably something Snape would say.
And I would add that maybe Harry shouldn't view lonely people as weak or to be pitied. That he should feel empathy and solemn respect for them. He doesn't know what loneliness feels like anymore, but not everybody has this chance, and it's not always their fault.

Thinking about how, since Sonny died during Kinito's development, he left him unfinished and Kinito probably had to finish himself on his own Kinda like someone who would've lost their parents as a child or a teenager, and, lacking any other guidance, had no choice but to raise their own self until they became an adult, will all the mental health issues that go with it

spoilers ahead!
(sorry if it's very confused but I haven't slept okay-)
the serie was beautiful beyond every single fucking expectations! the actors were amazing, the scenes too, I can't literally believe we got to see so many parts of aziraphale and Crowley, exactly like we wanted. I loved to see aziraphale's personality better than season 1, with Crowley too, I can't express the happiness and warm I feel inside thinking about how much everyone in this serie gave us.
if you are mad about the finale then be it but don't bother - I was so disappointed and sad too at first but it was completely perfect.
aziraphale is still manipulated by heaven, and he had good faith in thinking about Crowley too- he wants Crowley, he wants to be with him, but he's too scared and too attached to heaven to understand that so quickly, because yes, it's quick- Crowley has a total different personality, and also, for him it's different, and ""easier "" if I may say. he can see well beyond heaven's intentions, he's a demon, he's used to and was also forced to break the rules, to be so explosive and angry.
he knows what's going on, he can see aziraphale's manipulated mind and stigma, but he's also so angry that aziraphale can't just love him and be with him. and it's okay. what did we expect, that aziraphale would immediately be able to accept all this? also note that CROWLEY kissed him, but he didn't reciprocate…he's scared. the ending then, even if it hurts and is very deep, it's perfect. it had to end like this.
Crowley showed so many times his love and trust for him, now aziraphale has to do a real act of faith and risk everything for Crowley. we have to wait and see..again

Let’s talk about this scene…
Tumblr media
I’ve seen some really unfair takes on this so far and I can only conclude it’s because some people either want completely flawless characters or cannot use a little bit of critical thinking…
First the one thing we should all agree on - this is not ok, this is misogynistic, this is unsympathetic and this is unfair.
However, it is also realistic, there are a few reasons for this:
1. His Trauma
It’s absolutely not a coincidence that we learn Kazuki never knew/met his own parents before we see this scene, it’s also not a coincidence that we know from previous episodes that he was almost a father but that horrifically his pregnant wife and unborn child were k*lled before he had the chance to even get a flavour of what it felt like to have a family.
Tumblr media
He is being faced with a woman who has a living child, who has had the chance at family he has never been able to have and she’s rejecting it. Now I’m not saying it’s right but it’s understandable that his anger pours out here, he has these unrealistic ideals thoughts about motherhood/parenthood because he hasn’t lived them but he has so so desperately wanted to, has had that taken away from him and of course it really f*ckin hurts. Yes he disregards her reasoning, yes he’s never been a woman but if you think this traumatised man with absolutely no baseline for family values is going to say the exact right thing (or not the completely wrong thing) in a heightened emotional confrontation about family then you need to have a re-think, this was never going to be a pleasant healing encounter.
2. Miri
Something people also seem to be forgetting, he’s there to return her daughter. The little girl he is already besotted with/devoted to, the little girl he doesn’t want to give back (set up nicely in the episode by Rei repeatedly calling him a lousy liar). He’s faced with her mother saying she always wanted to hit her, no matter who you are do not tell me in the heat of the moment you wouldn’t be getting up and yelling about how they should be a better parent, his reaction is defensive, his words are lofty and that line is unfair but his empathy in the moment is not for this stranger who’s saying she wants to hit her (his) daughter, it’s for Miri, the little girl he fed breakfast and chanted ‘bananya’ with in the kitchen that morning.
Tumblr media
I think Miri’s mother is written in a way that we are supposed to feel some empathy for her, and I do 100%, but I also think that empathy needs to be extended to Kazuki’s character here too. At the end of the day these are two flawed and deeply traumatised characters having an argument - what comes out of their mouths isn’t always going to be pretty.
This turned out way longer than I thought it would but I needed to get it off my chest! Yes it’s a bad take, but it hasn’t come from nothing. I think it’s likely a bit of a set up so we can see him move from these kind of ideals to a more realistic outlook.

It’s insane how many people jumped on the hater boat when the rwarb trailer came out. So many people thought taylor and nick had zero chemistry and that the movie was going to be a fail but BOY were they so wrong! I’m happy to say I was not one of those people. No need to judge a movie before actually watching it and send hate to the actors/creators. Funny how rwarb is easily one of the best lgbtq movies in history now. (well in my opinion at least)

Ik I shit talk about the show….but I swear to god…There better be a scene between Ghost Charles Lee Ray and Tiffany…(A kiss wouldn’t hurt and may make up for the hell this show put me through…Because throughout the Child’s play franchise we’ve never seen actual Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly kiss and that is a crime. Don’t get me wrong I love Fiona! But come on….after 30 years and we don’t get to see the main duo make out once in Human form!??!) Don you better not fuck this up. THIS MANS OPPORTUNITY IS OPEN DON’T WASTE IT.
