Did you know that in a recent video Alan made with DJ he confirmed that TSC, Green, Yellow, Red and Blue are around the ages of 10 to 12 years old. He also said that they are just really smart children. I really like that they just young kids, makes their mannerisms and child like behavior make more sense.

Hmmm... okay, I want to preface with saying that I'm happy you find joy in headcanoning the Color Gang to be 10 to 12 year olds. I'm glad you like thinking they're kids.

BUT

I've seen a lot of people use that clip of Alan saying they're 10 to 12 year old kids as canon. And like, frankly, I don't see how it can be.

TLDR;

It's fine if you see the Color Gang as kids in the range of 10 - 12, more power to you, but I don't see it as canon because it doesn't make sense to me and I personally can't relate to them. So I see them as young adults. )

First off, I honestly don't trust anything Alan has to say when it comes to what is or is not canon to the videos because Alan has said via his Members discord that there isn't any concrete "lore" for the characters and the world aside from a paragraph of personality traits for the Color Gang. While I myself, am not in the Discord, I have a friend who sometimes talks about stuff in there with me. A lot of the things story and lore things he and the team make up as they go. He will just say stuff without really considering previously establish canon.

(Trust me, I know. I've spent so much brainpower trying to connect the stick figure world together in a cohesive manner, its not even funny anymore aldkglsjsgs /lh)

No knock to Alan and his Team though. I understand that AvA/M is an on-going series with SO MANY videos to keep track of. It'd be hard to keep everything inline with lore if you don't have a dedicated keeper of it. But that's the reason why I take anything Alan says outside of the animations themselves, with a grain of salt.

SECONDLY,

Let's break down this "canon" scene shall we?

Actually, lets start a little bit before the scene, so everyone can get some context:

The scene is Purple going off with King, to which DJ says:

DJ, voicing over King: Come on son, let's go

DJ, voicing over Purple: Bye guys! I'm gonna go hangout with my adopted dad. I'm 32.

[Alan and DJ laugh]

Alan: Maybe he is.

DJ: That'd be so weird if you find out all the characters are like in their 30s. [more laughs]

Alan: Yeah even though the internet hasn't been around that long.

DJ: Yeah, that's true. How old are they, like since their creation, I guess?

Alan: Huh, good question. ... 14?

DJ: 15? No...

Alan: Probably like 10, 12, 13,

DJ: Yeah, yeah. Which is cool because I feel like they act around then

[Alan laughs]

Alan: Yeah, they're just very smart children.

Just reading this, it looks like Alan confirmed that they're 10-13 year olds right?

Yeah if you ONLY look at this and not take into account the joking and non-serious tone both Alan and DJ had throughout this entire conversation. They like joking around and saying things. That's kinda their whole thing during their reacts. Alan is a more dead-pan but he was definitely making a lighthearted joke or comment playing off of the statement of them being 10.

Actually, lets go look at the question leading up to this.

"How old are they, like since their CREATION, I guess?"

Since their creation. AvA 4 is the video where Second and RYGB were first introduced and can serve as their creation date (assuming we're not taking about lore because while AvA 4 is Second's creation date, I'd argue the Stick Fighters were created prior and would in fact be older). AvA 4 premiered in 2014

Which is almost 10 years ago.

There is a high likelihood that both Alan and DJ were using the upload date of AvA 4 as the Color Gang's "creation date".

And if you want to headcanon a stick figure's age is how many years since their creation date, then more power to you.

To me that makes no sense because then that'd mean King is 2 years old. (AvM Parkour released April, 2021) Which is insane. alskdjglsjglsgd

I much prefer the idea that stick figures are created with an age in mind (baring the born stick figures like Purple).

And yeah, maybe Alan "intended" to make the Color Gang 10-13 year olds, but as I stated above, with how joking Alan and DJ were while discussing it plus Alan's whole thing about making things up as they go, I don't really believe it.

ALSO

Not to get too personal, but I just want to address something that's been bothering me with this whole thing.

The idea that because the Color Gang act childish = being children.

Because the sticks are heavily neurodivergent-coded

And as someone who is also neurodivergent, can act childish, see aspects of themself in these sticks, and is an ADULT.

Saying that people who act like this are children??

FUCKING SUCKS

Now I know, DJ, Alan, and probably even yourself Anon, don't mean any harm when you say the sticks act like children so they must be children.

But there is a LONG history of neurodivergent people getting infantilized because they display more "childish" behaviors like stimming or hyperfixating on specific topics.

So for at least me, someone who headcanons the Stick Figures as young adults, this who "age discourse" feels icky to me.

Plus, I personally can't relate to kids because I myself, am an adult. It's easier for me to relate to characters around my age range.

Listen, this rant is getting too long but here's the long and the short of it

There is nothing wrong with headcanoning the sticks as kids if that's what you want to believe that it's canon,

But it just ain't for me.

Cobra and Fujio are basically the same person

A rant post on why I personally think these two characters are basically the same person in different bodies

Random background on me as a person: I’ve always been a strong believer that the media we consume can affect/leave an impact on us and how we act, go about life, perceive the world, etc. I’ve done this my whole life, on top of being a fangirl I OVERTHINK about the plot, the characters, the ships, everything. Adding to that, when I hyper fixate on a piece of media I get so invested I pay attention to all the tiny details and micro-analyze characters and their backstories and tie it back to how they act in the story.

Last semester I got to do this in class because I enrolled in a storytelling course and basically the whole time my professor gave us stories to read or movies to watch and then we had to relate it back to real life and analyze the characters behaviors, how they interacted with others, the story themes, etc. Hopefully my professor is proud I continue to use what I learned in their class to apply to my hyper fixation on other fictional characters outside of the course😂

If you look at Cobra and Fujio’s characters on the surface, they might not seem similar. Fujio has a very golden retriever like energy to himself. He’s very extroverted, loud, friendly, bright, and overall very playful and doesn’t take anything too seriously unless the situation calls for it. In contrast, Cobra is more somber and serious. Cobra is more quiet, reserved, very serious, and had a relatively calm demeanor. Well, S.W.O.R.D. Era Cobra is super serious, whereas Mugen Era Cobra isn’t.

Personality wise, Mugen Era Cobra and Fujio are the same. They’re a little bit closer in age, and Cobra is definitely more upbeat during this time period. Maybe even a little less mature in a sense.

Obviously when we meet Cobra we see that he’s gone through a lot to become the person we know him as. Noboru got arrested and couldn’t continue school, Tatsuya was killed, Kohaku disappeared. Eventually Cobra has to take charge and be Sannoh’s leader, deal with Kuryu’s stinky asses, hits a rough patch with some Sannoh members leaving, losing Smoky, you get the point. All this loss and grief causes him to lose his playful demeanor and it’s understandable. Honestly if H&L The Worst X was as serious as any of the first three movies where characters died and Tsukasa died instead of only ending up in the hospital after Amagai dropped his ass from the gym balcony, that shit would’ve sent Fujio into his depresso espresso era also 100%

But yeah, it might not seem like Fujio and Cobra are alike at first until you dive in a little deeper. Let’s start with something small first.

1) Cobra and Fujio’s styling

Something small I noticed was that both characters are styled with a black bandanna in their right pocket. We see this when Cobra interrupts Ranmaru and Rocky’s fight in the second movie and hands Rocky the bandanna after telling him he looked a mess😂 This might also just be Cobra’s way of remembering or holding onto his memories of Mugen because I’m pretty sure all the Mugen members had bandannas on their person but once we enter S.W.O.R.D. Era no one else not even Yamato have a bandanna on them anymore so I think my point stands.

Fujio is the only character I see during The Worst era who has a bandanna tucked into the right pocket of his pants.

2) Both are leaders/have leader mentality

This one is kind of obvious also but let me explain.

Cobra goes on to establish Sannoh and is the leader as well. I admire the way Cobra leads his members. He’s very understanding even if the opinions are different. We see this showcased with Noboru during Road to High&Low when Cobra acknowledges that he knows Noboru is trying to act in the best interest of his friends he’s just going about it in the wrong way. We also see this when Dan, Tettsu, Chiharu, and a few other members walk out of the fight with Doubt. Cobra acknowledges that friends sometimes are not on the same side and that it’s okay when that happens.

Fujio right off the bat has a goal in mind to unite all of Oya, this plays into his leadership style we see throughout both Worst movies. Fujio is a very charismatic person. Right as he enters Oya, he’s able to get many followers without asserting strength or dominance over all of Oya (something Todoroki has been trying to do but can’t achieve. Fight me if you want on this but I don’t think Todoroki would be a good leader lol. That’s a post for another time). We see this when Nakagoshi and Nakaoka agree to follow Fujio in the gym. Yes, Fujio fought with YasuKiyo faction but other than that he doesn’t get into another fight with the other factions. When Yasushi is hospitalized, Fujio at this point isn’t officially Oya’s leader yet but everyone looks to him to see what happens from here. With the mentality of bringing everyone together, Fujio makes it clear that what happened to Yasushi isn’t just a YasuKiyo problem but an Oya problem which prompts the Oya boys to work together to fight with Housen.

So how does this tie the two together?

Both characters have strong leadership skills. Granted they differ slightly but the overall style and tone they take on is that no one gets left behind and that even when the crisis doesn’t directly impact them in anyway, both characters are still willing to jump in to help others.

3) Both see the importance of friendship and the strength of a true alliance

I really do think that friendship kept Cobra going in life. Sometimes it felt like that man was one more crisis away from completely swirling into self destructive behavior but his friendships pulled him out of that. An example of this is how he holds onto Kohaku’s words and teachings to help in certain situations such as the one involving Noboru and Kohaku himself when they are begging him to leave Kuryu and come back to himself.

Fujio being a school aged character we’re obviously gonna see more of his friendships because at that age that’s one of the bigger focuses in life. We see how friendship kept him from being sad and lonely as a kid because his mother was working a lot that’s why he spent time with Seiji, Madoka, and all of them. As a teenager now, his friendship with them is still strong considering this boy literally jumps into a crack farm to pull Arata out of the shit he got himself into. During The Worst X this boy literally becomes friends with the strongest person canonically in the series and then spends the second half of the movie fighting to get his best friend back from being captured.

Both characters directly state the alliance part in their movies.

While Cobra fights Jesse, he tells him something along the lines of “you guys are just a bunch of strays, are you prepared as he is?” Referring to how he knows Rocky has been prepared for this fight from the get go. On top of that, Cobra was the S.W.O.R.D. Leader who suggested the alliance in the first place knowing that they would be stronger together against Kuryu. End of Sky doesn’t focus as much on Kuryu as it does Doubt but it leads into Kuryu so I think this is fitting. Cobra knows that the Prison Gang, Mighty, and Doubt working together would never actually work because they don’t have a bond to fight together they’re just getting a job done. Hyuga even points out that he can’t trust Ranmaru because he throws his men away like they’re trash.

I think this applies to the first movie as well. Cobra knows that Kuryu, Jansung, Mighty Warriors, and Kohaku would not work because it wasn’t a true alliance it was simply made to get a job done. This leads him to suggesting the alliance in the second film.

When H&L The Worst X comes around, we know that Fujio is seen as the leader of Oya and he values his friends a lot. He doesn’t usually refer to the Oya students as troops or comrades unless the situation warrants it, he refers to everyone as friends and also mentions how everyone became friends through fighting. On the rooftop when Todoroki asks if Fujio going against what he thinks is best means that Fujio no longer needs him, but Fujio is quick to tell him that’s not what is going on at all; rather that he has a solution and is willing to set his pride aside for his friends. He then proceeds to tell the remaining Oya guys that the other schools created an alliance but “let’s show them what a real alliance looks like”. This is because Fujio’s thoughts are the same as Cobra’s. Senomon, Kamasaka, and Ebara may have created an alliance but there is no friendship or bond in it, therefore this alliance wouldn’t work or last long. We even see this when Ebara drop out of the alliance. Had Shoji, Fujin, or Raijin been friends with any of the guys from the other schools they probably wouldn’t agree to the rules Todoroki set for their fight. But it’s the fact that they are friends and care for each other that Shoji agrees to Todoroki’s terms. Shoji knows that the other schools are shady so he’s gonna take the opportunity to get the people he actually cares about out of that alliance.

Fujio’s monologue at the end of his fight with Suzaki even highlights the importance of friendship. We see in the first Worst movie that Fujio wants to become the best and be at the top. In The Worst X cross after he reads Sachio’s letter, Jamuo catches him staring at the clouds and tells him he won’t be able to do much with his head in the clouds. To which Fujio proceeds to tell him “being born a man I always felt I needed to be the greatest, but maybe being at the top doesn’t make me a great man.” When Suzaki loses the fight and says that from now on Senomon would be tools for Oya to use, Fujio is quick to shut that mentality down; telling Suzaki that it’s just one fight he lost, and that it doesn’t mean anything. His monologue goes into how it doesn’t matter who’s at the top and who isn’t because look at all the friends around you who are willing to fight for and with you (granted Suzaki and Amagai have no real friends besides each other but I digress pop off inspirational Fujio).

You’ve made it to the end! I know this is just a long rant post and the thoughts aren’t super organized and might not be well explained but it made sense to me so here we are😂

I genuinely didn’t think I would be writing anything for Mighty because I have a love hate relationship with those characters but I have a plot I consistently think about and think that Ice works best with it so that story will be out eventually also.

Gareth Emerson Headcanons (General):

he has asthma

because of this the whole of Corroded Coffin carry an extra inhaler with them in case he forgets to bring his

him and Eddie make all of Corroded Coffin's merch (banners, shirts, pins ecc.) together since they are the most creative and good with DIY

his favourite subject is History no doubt

if he wasn't a drummer I could see him being a History teacher (the one everyone crushes on)

he owns lots of flannels (also not cut-off ones)

I can't tell if he's a dog or cat person, but he would be a cat

Helluva Boss just keeps getting better and better....

I honestly wish that I could say that this episode was the best....but I would be lying. So I'm gonna be full on honest about this entire thing. I DO NOT care what comes my way.... so shoot me with whatever have to say if your gonna kiss a** to this show.

       This whole episode was like any other HB episode - STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE! Beyond sh*t. It sucked, I was disappointed, and I highly doubt that the rest of the future episodes would be anymore than okay in the long run. I just- I hated it. I would LOVE for someone to argue with me about this whole thing. Like, I WANT someone to come up with excuses for this episode so I can shoot back at them with this dumpster fire, cuz there is no excuse, not one speck of it to cover for this entire show.

       You can say that this whole episode was nothing but filler with only a couple of emotional scenes. But you know what, those emotional scenes were not even enough to make this episode any better. In fact, they we're just as terrible cuz they made no sense. And they're not justified.

       So the entire synopsis of this episode is that Octavia wanted to see a meteor or something with Stolas, but he was busy with something else and forgets about it. So she runs away to see the stars for herself. She steals the book and travels to L.A.. That leads to IMP and Stolas to go out and search for her. Even though the main objective was to find Octavia, majority of the characters get sidetracked and caught into some shenanigans. The kind of shenanigans that shouldn't have to stop you for finishing you're objective. And that's one of my problems with this show! The characters are trying to get one thing done and can't even do that because they get deliberately sidetracked, and somehow they get so distracted that they probably forget what there trying to accomplish!

I'm just gonna go ahead, tell the plot and explain why it was terrible. This is gonna be one Helluva rant! (I'm not sorry).

SPOILERS (Obviously)

So we start somewhere in the past with Stolas telling a little Octavia about Meteor showers. Specifically, Azazoth's tears. Octavia is really excited about it and wants to see it with him someday. So before tucking her into bed, Stolas made a promise that when the day of the meteor showers come, they will both see it together.......

Surprise, surprise.... he didn't make that promise.....

       Because we jumped to the present where Octavia is 17 and marks the day of the Azazoth's Tears on her calendar, which means she remember's that today's is the day the meteor showers come. So she looks for her dad and finds him outside on the phone with an angry Stella (of course she's angry). Since they're divorcing, Stella forced him to take the entirety of her possessions and move it out of the palace. While that was in progress, Stolas is arguing over the phone with Stella. He's seemingly so preoccupied with going back-and-forth with his ex-wife, he wouldn't take the time off the phone to talk to his daughter, whose trying to grab his attention. He even called Stella a b*tch right in front of Octavia (regardless of him censoring his words by spelling it out for the sake of Via, he still said it. And that is pretty disrespectful considering you are talking about your daughter's mother). The fact that Stolas had forgotten about his promise and was more concerned about dealing with Stella angered Via. So much so that she started throwing and flipping things in her room! Like, damn girl! Is it that serious??? You'd think your parents getting a divorce would be the last straw! I'm surprised she could even get angry that easily (guess she had to inherit something from her mother). So, she packs some of her things and storms off to see the stars for herself and without Stolas. She would even go as far as to sneak into IMP's office just to steal Stolas's grimoire.

...Y'know, for someone who's parents are getting a divorce (and probably on that same day), she seems to be much more concerned over a meteor shower...

       Anyway, we jumpcut to the next scene where Loona is fighting Blitzo (with Moxxie and Millie on the sideline). Blitzo tries to have a talk with Loona about her behavior toward clients (he shoulda been talking to her about her behavior toward him. He needs to put his foot down more often, just sayin). Loona honestly started to get on my nerves in this scene. Let's be real, she pissed me off this entire episode! She constantly started throwing knives and other sharp weapons at him, saying,

"WHY DON'T YOU GROW A PAIR AND REPLACE ME!"

       Blitzo replied (with no boom in his voice) that he just might replace her as a receptionist and tells her to go to her desk. She felt even more angry, but she did what she was told. Meanwhile, Octavia managed to sneak inside the office without anyone seeing her (I mean, Loona noticed her, but her careless a** paid it no mind). She rummages through the desk to look for the book and then finds it inside a safe. She manages to unlock the code and she tells the book "Take me to see the stars...".

       This is a little nitpick, but lemme just say; how the hell did she know where IMP's headquarters were? What, did she just visit there at one point with her dad? And if so, then what for? I doubt she'd wanted anything to do with anyone in the company considering one of the members screwed Stolas and caused the affair in the first place. And another thing, how was she able to unlock the passcode to the safe so easily??? It's like she just predicted it would be 1 2 3 4, when really, she was just pressing buttons and hoping to get lucky. Just imagine that not being the right passcode. Octavia would've been in that office forever just pressing buttons until she could put in the right code. That just made no sense to me.

       Moving on! IMP walks in on Octavia right before she leaves. When she arrived at her location, it's not what she expected. She shows up in the human world, the HB version of Hollywood called "Holly's Wood" (I'm not even gonna bother with this pun) Really though, she's just in L.A.. A lot of jerks everywhere, people trying to sell CDs on the street, a freakin' drunk clown, a dead parody of Brandon Rogers (who she accidently killed, I think?), another parody of Kim Kardashian leaving Kanye West with her child, only for Kanye West to go straight to making out with parody Jeffrey Star...... Y'know, Hollywood. The whole time, I was expecting Octavia to turn into her human form, but I guess she just doesn't have one?......

These humans are dumb af anyway.... Octavia should've been more specific with her request.

       Blitzo starts to panic and is worried about how he was going to tell Stolas that his daughter stole the book and ran away..... I don't know why he would be worried about how to tell Stolas anything. Like, didn't those two have a falling out in episode 7 season 1? They didn't even-

Y'know what? Imma talk about that later.

       Blitzo calls Stolas about the whole thing anyway, and of course Stolas isn't two happy about this. What I can't gloss over is the fact that Stolas sorta blamed Blitzo for letting Octavia take the book and running off -

"Do you just let people waltz into your office and steal infintely powerful artifacts??!"

       Um....sir? YOU DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE OCTAVIA LEFT THE MANSION UNTIL YOU WERE CALLED ABOUT IT!!!! Hell, YOU were the main reason why she even left!! You we're probably still too busy bickering with Stella over the phone to even notice she was gone! And you say "Infinitely Powerful Artifact" as if your grimoire is so important that it shouldn't be at the hands of some random person or just anyone in general. I mean, sh*t, it sure as hell wasn't all that important when you were thinking with your d*ck!!!

       Somehow by smelling air, Loona figures out that Octavia travelled to L.A.. So everyone decides to to team up together to find Octavia. Whenever they show up, Loona mentions that she can hardly smell anything in this messed up city. If she was able to smell where Octavia travelled to by smelling air, and all the girl did was teleport somewhere, then why is it a problem for her to smell something now?

Of course, in order to blend with all the human, everyone has to where a disguise. Okay now, let me explain something;

       So from what we've seen, Stolas, Loona, Verosika, and her peers are the only ones in this show capable of turning human, while the imps.... can't for some reason? I don't how the rules work in this show, but they need to be made clear. Of course, the prince of hell has a human diguise, but how is Loona able to do it and the imps can't?? It would've been interesting to see what Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie would look like as humans, but instead, what we got is them wearing stupid corny outfits that no one seems to question. Does it have anything to do with Imps being of a lower class or just being more poor? If that's the case, then hellhounds are in the same category as imps, yet Loona is able turn into a human with no sweat. OCTAVIA DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A HUMAN DISGUISE, AND SHE'S STOLAS'S DAUGHTER!! What the hell!! What kind of logic is this??

       Not only that, but Stolas and Loona having disguises is completely pointless!! What would be the point in them trying to blend in when Moxxie, Millie, and Blitzo can walk around practically showing off their species in front of everyone??! The only reason why it's so easy for them to walk around with NO disguises is because the humans in this universe are literally STUPID! They're practically BLIND!! So stupid that one thought Moxxie was a possum. Some thought he and Millie were just wearing costumes. Hell, Blitzo was trying to put on a disguise to fool people, but his devil horns, along with his red skin, and his tail are the only things standing out. And that's more than enough to be noticed!!! But these humans are still so dumb, they don't notice a thing!! Stolas and Loona didn't need any disguises! They are just fine walking around like demons! It would make more sense if Loona just acted like a dog and be human Stolas's pet if they wanted a disguise! Let's face it, human Stolas and human Loona are nothing but eyecandy for fans!! That's the only reason why they're human! To satisfy fans.... They're literally going gaga over human Stolas, and he doesn't even look that hot!! I've seen fan art that can pull off a better human Stolas!!

       Blitzo asked if Stolas is able turn him, Moxxie and Millie human too, but Stolas says that without his grimoire, he can't do much of anything. That sounds like a big bucket load of bullsh*t to me! Aren't you suppose to be the prince of hell? You're able to turn people into stone, turn into a big a** demon, make a portal and teleport anywhere whenever you please, YOU CAN TURN YOUR OWN SELF INTO A HUMAN, AND ALL WITHOUT A GRIMOIRE!! Why is it suddenly issue for you to use you're powers!!?? I swear- both Loona and Stolas!!! I'm starting to think y'all can do something and you just choose NOT to do it!

       So the gang venture off, but Moxxie and Millie get stopped by some dude who is trying to sell his CD. Moxxie for some reason is so determined to buy something he thinks is so meaningful. He cares so much that this random dude poored his heart and soul into some stupid CD that's probably the worst thing to ever be made. He could always give it back, but Moxxie's sensitive a** would just feel bad for not buying it. So he and Millie (in all fairness, Millie wanted to stick with the gang) decide to get left behind to get 20 bucks for some worthless CD, along with some other artifacts in the city that Moxxie is so interested in and not help find Octavia......

Leave it to those two to become side characters....

       Blitzo, Loona, and Stolas stop at a costume store or something to guy a disguise for Blitzo. Like I said before, having a human disguise is not needed, but this episode just has to have conflict. So, Blitzo is mistaken as a parody Brandon Rogers, Brennon Ragers, who is a known celebrity a lot of these fans seem to like. Of course these idiots think that the red skinned looking demon with a tail and big a** ears is Brennon Rogers. So he and Stolas (who is believed to be Brennon Ragers agent) are captured and thrown into a van. While stuck in a van and on their way to a set for Blitzo to perform a sitcom, Stolas worries over Octavia, but Blitzo reassures him that Loona will take care of it. Thing is, Loona doesn't help at all unless it's convenient for her....

So Stolas and Blitzo gets caught on set and ready to perform in a sitcom. Blitzo gets super nervous about performing live in front of everyone considering what happened when he was on stage last time (He doesn't indicate what happened. All we know is that he tried to make people laugh once at a circus when he was a kid....And he failed). And Stolas's response to Blitzo's sudden stage fright made me mad so much, I could laugh-

Stolas approached Blitzo and lifted his chin, "Blitzo, if your performance on stage is half as good as it is in bed, you'll leave them "breathless." cunned Stolas inches away from Blitzo's ear, deepening his voice as he gave Blitzo a gentle touch on the neck and softly rubbed downward.

       What bugged me about this was that he was FLIRTING with Blitzo! Like- wha- ARE YOU FREAKIN' SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!!! You're seriously gonna go right back to flirting with him???? Did we just forget episode 7 where the tension between those two took a toll. Did you just forget that you're constant flirting is the reason Blitzo pushed you away in the first place???

UGHHH!! I'm definitely gonna get right back to this topic later in the page, but for right now, let's just move on!

       Stolas forces him on set, live in front of the audience and is expected to say a line. Blitzo is nervous to his core considering he was never given an actual script to the scene he's currently playing in. Not only that, but there's a whole audience watching him, so that just adds on his anxiety. Since he doesn't know his lines, his best option was to read the teleprompters. Fortunately enough, the audience laughed at this line (mostly because it was technically their cue to laugh. There were signs saying "laugh" connected to the ceilings), which gave Blitzo just enough encouragement to play along. Meanwhile, Stolas starts feeling more aroused looking at Blitzo, as usual (barf).

       Meanwhile, Loona walks around the city, drinking coffee, taking photos on Sinstagram. For real though, Loona would be the kind of character that doesn't do anything to help unless it's convenient for her. Like for instance; Blitzo requested that she go find Octavia, but her response is to flip him off as her way of saying, "I'm not doin' sh*t!" So she goofs off for while until she scrolls through social media to see selfies of Octavia, taking pictures to each place she's been too. Then suddenly, Loona gets a change of heart and decides to try and look for her. Why...I don't freakin' know. She just does.

       Back to the studio, everyone is getting bored of laughing at the sitcom, even Stolas as Blitzo continues to play the role. He then plays a scene where a little parody of Darla Dimple offers to adopt a puppy that Blitzo is holding. When Blitzo hears the word "adopt", we cut to a flashback of the day where he first adopted Loona. I honestly felt like laughing when they tried to make me feel as sad as possible for Loona. They show that she was in an orphanage for hellhounds and it looked like a whole dog pound. She's locked up in a cell and she looked super depressed, scooting to the corner and crying. I'm laughing thinking about it now, lol!! So we're suppose to feel sorry for her, yet she always acts like a total ungrateful b*tch to the person who took it upon himself to adopt her and finally set her free from a prison-like adoption center??!! A place she was never happy in??!! Freakin' PLEASE, MAN!! PLEASE!! Don't bullsh*t me!!

       Blitzo goes in rage mode and refuses to give up the dog, breaking his character. Everyone tries to get Blitzo off set while also trying to take the dog from him, so he pulls out his gun and starts shooting everyone that comes his way. Stolas tries to save him and the way he goes about is so GODDAMN STUPID!!!

The Prince of Hell everyone....

       When the water is spilled all over the producer, he starts to burn??? So apparently, the water bottles that Stolas was holding contained acid. Acid that could burn someone's skin off in an instant. So it can burn someone and yet, Stolas started downing it like he was dehydrated after feeling hot because of Blitzo?? Omg...So a whole fire starts and when Stolas trips, Blitzo catches his hand and Stolas once again starts to feel attracted after seeing Blitzo who has abs now...???(Idfk). So FINALLY they go to search for Octavia and Loona.

       Eventually, Loona finds Octavia sitting outside an Observatory. Now, this is where we get our famous sister moment between these two. Octavia expresses how she's angry at her father for breaking his promise to see the meteor shower with her and is not even sitting with her right now. I swear bro- Loona's responses and excuses for Stolas makes me want to laugh even more:

"Try to cut your dad some slack....He may not always get it right, but he's trying."

       FREAKIN' WHAT!!!! Loona, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT STOLAS'S CARE FOR OCTAVIA!? What exactly has he done to show he cares at all about Octavia and her feelings??? Majority of the time he's even around her, he has done nothing but act inappropriate! Episode 2 of season 1, he flirted with Blitzo non-stop in front of her, the same guy he had an affair and cheated on her mother with! That caused Octavia to feel bitter towards him, and rightfully so! And despite that heartwarming talk they had in the last scene, Stolas still continues these affairs with Blitzo, completely disregarding his daughter's feelings and the talk they had about it!! Loona wasn't even there that episode, so how would she know about him caring about her?

"He's somewhere down there... looking for you."

       Right...He wasted majority of his time with Blitzo in a studio he didn't even have to stay for and decides at the last minute to finally continue looking for his daughter. He just had to rely on Loona (who probably didn't even want to be apart of this) to look for HIS daughter, when he could've done himself instead of deliberately getting sidetracked. Hell, he could've just left the studio.... Yeah, he cares all right...

After getting a change of heart, Octavia is quick to give Loona a hug (OMG! This is so forced!!). And finally the girls meet up with Stolas and Blitzo. Blitzo missed Loona so much that the first thing she does is give her a hug. This was her response-

Octavia apologizes to Stolas for running away and worrying about him. Stolas apologizes to Octavia for forgetting his promise. Loona and Blitzo = no progress. I'm not even gonna talk about what happened with M&M cuz those two served absolutely NO purpose in this episode. They might as well have not even been present.

Loona

This is actually my first time talking, or in this case, ranting about Loona. Well you know what, it's about time! Cuz woo boy!! There is a TON I wanna say about this character!

       Now, at first, I never really disliked Loona like that. Or at least I never really paid attention to her. She was just... there. And that is the main problem! Loona never really does anything that I don't bother to notice. Believe it or don't, but anytime she's on screen, she's either being a d*ck to Moxxie or Blitzo or just being the eyecandy for all the furries and HB fans, and mostly because of some relatable personality she has. I don't really see what be so relatable about her, especially up to this point. I know I sure as hell wouldn't kick someone in the balls as a response to them trying to embrace me with a hug. But she doesn't really do anything interesting other than smelling, taking action when needed, or being a receptionist.

       Come to think of it, she never bothers to do her job anyway. Lets face it, she's just straight-up unproffesional. It was already made clear that she shows some bad behavior toward clients. I don't see why she would be surprised or angry when Blitzo came at her for her bad attidute or threatened to replace her. She clearly doesn't care about doing her job and she knows damn well she's always treating people, even the ones that work with her, like sh*t!! Take Squidward from SpongeBob; Squidward clearly hates his job. While he's over there, he does nothing but show sarcasm and he looks less than happy to even look at customers in the face! He doesn't even like his coworkers! If Mr. Krabs fired him, he'll be absolutely THRILLED to get the hell out of there! He wouldn't be upset at all. All in all, if you don't like working somewhere, or if you're not even gonna do your job/do your job right, then don't bother to continue working.

       Anyway, one of Loona's biggest issues is that she has absolutely NO DEVELOPMENT. If she did have some sort of change after this episode, you're gonna have to give me a whole 10 page essay on how Loona developed into anything at all character wise. Even when being considered the main character, Loona is practically never there! She might as well be considered a supporting character. If there's one problem this show has, is making the main characters entirely irrelevant. At first glance, the only thing we knew about Loona was that Blitzo adopted her - not just as his hellhound, but as his daughter. Her characteristics include being a b*tchy, angsty, snobby, emo teenager. She unnecessarily acts like cynical jerk to everyone around her, including the person who adopted her and freed her from a prison-like adoption center.

       It would've been interesting to see why she acts such a way toward Blitzo, Moxxie, or Millie considering the imps don't do anything wrong to Loona. And PLEASE don't give me the excuse saying "Um, they're in hell. Of course they act like that.", damn near EVERYONE is always giving that excuse because they like to kiss a** to these characters while justifying their behavior and I'm beyond SICK OF IT!! That's like saying since Millie and Moxxie are imps and born in hell, then that means their relationship is toxic and should be toxic. But those two practically love each to death, and waste NO time showing it!!! Being in hell has NOTHING to do with your behavior towards other people and some of these fans need to understand that!

       I never liked this girl. Even when I didn't even pay all that much attention to her (mostly because she didn't contribute to the story at all, even if there was one), the only characteristic I ever saw in her was a b*tch. There is NOTHING positive about this character! And when there is, it's just forced onto her, like this episode when she's being friendly to somebody for once! She's just too damn mean, and for what???? This girl was adopted by the guy who took pity on her and gave her so much love. Even when she constantly brushed him off, Blitzo still gave more affection to her than any of the other characters in this series. He always sides with her even when she's in the wrong! He literally dotes on her, and she usually doesn't even deserve it!!

       She never treats Blitzo with any respect despite being given love by him constantly, but why??? Why is she always so mean to Blitzo? What has he done to her that was so bad that she never returns any of his affections?? That's the thing we are all wondering about!! But we never get the answer!! Just more abuse that were supposed to laugh at. Sure, it was shown that she didn't look so good while being cooped in an orphanage. She probably had a rough childhood that was so tragic, it made her fall into a depressive state, and made her the way she is now. She may have been abused in the orphanage. But again, Blitzo went out of his way to adopt her and love her! He went for Loona! He could've gotten any other hellhound or even a puppy if he was looking to adopt and care for, unlike any other hellhounds whom are only bought for servitude.

       The thing with hellhounds is that they, like imps, are in the lowest ranking in hell's hierarchy system. Most of them are bought or hired mainly for labor or work. Vortex is a hellhound and works as Verosika's bodyguard. It's the same with Stolas's bodyguards; they are hellhounds. But Loona? Blitzo didn't just buy her, he adopted her as his daughter, and during her late teens too! You'd think she would show a little bit of gratitude or some kind of care for Blitzo, knowing he could've gotten a younger pup! Most parents I've seen would mostly adopt children when they're younger than 16. That's just from my perspective anyway. So once again, I ask.... Why is Loona always so mean to Blitzo???

This kind of topic starts to make me question why she has ANY position to be giving a speech to Octavia about "cutting her dad some slack", when she herself can't treat her father any nicer!!

Let me show Loona's speech again, " Sometimes... sometimes it's not as simple as that. This kind of shit gets messy, and everybody's got issues, especially dads. And sometimes they f*ck up -- well, all the time. But, that doesn't mean they don't care. He's looking for you. I mean... try to cut your dad some slack. He may not always get it right, but... he's trying. That's more important than you think."

       Like I said, Loona has NO room to give a speech to Octavia about her father "caring", especially when he doesn't give ANY effort. First of all, Loona don't know sh*t about Stolas to be defending him! She shouldn't care enough about him to defend him. Matter of fact, she shouldn't even be liking him!!! You seriously gonna try and defend the guy that treats your own father like a sex toy!!?? Not only does she not know Stolas, but she doesn't know Octavia either!! Like, this is literally their first time meeting!! Loona doesn't know Octavia enough to realize the things she's been through! If you think Loona knows well enough what it's like to be in Octavia shoes, THEN YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!! Loona doesn't have any parents who are divorcing, her father doesn't neglect her or disregard her feelings about things she feels so strongly about.

       Second of all, NOBODY SHOULD BE CUTTING STOLAS ANY SLACK!! Octavia shouldn't even have to apologize for doing what she did!! It pisses me off that everyone just thinks that Stolas is a "can't-do-no-wrong cinnamon-roll angel"!!! It's like this show just tries to focus on the fact that he did ONE thing wrong only to be forgiven in the end and disregards all the other things he's done that are inexusable at this point!!

He neglected Octavia and only paid more attention to bickering with his ex-wife! He tells his daughter "Sorry, honey. Can we talk about this later?" and brushes off whatever she was going to tell him. What Octavia wanted to talk to him about couldv'e been a lot more important than fighting with Stella over the phone and he basically just tells her "Go away! I'm talking to your mother!" Bro literally could've just hung up the phone just to hear his daughter out for one minute, but he just HAS to get the last word!!

He didn't realize Octavia snuck out of the mansion until he was called about it! This is just another example on how neglectful Stolas is! He was probably still yelling over the phone and the second he hung up on her was probably because Blitzo called. I bet you he would be quick to hang up the phone on Stella if it meant answering Blitzo's calls! Not to mention he sort of blamed Blitzo for Octavia taking the grimoire and leaving with it! He's really blaming someone else, but he's supposed to be the freakin parent who has responsibility over his child!

Didn't even think to get out of the studio to find his daughter. He just HAD to be there for his uwu Blitzy~~ and rely on someone else to look for HIS child!

It's not even just this episode. Stolas has screwed up with Octavia in episode 2 of season 1;

He tells Octavia that he was just going to spend a day with her and her alone, only to have Blitzo tag along so he get his d*ck hard and flirt with him -- RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS DAUGHTER!!! He didn't even aknowledged her feelings about it the entire time. He didn't stop think, "Maybe I shouldn't invite the man I had an affair with and cheated on my wife, being my daughter's Mother." It didn't even matter how Stella treated him because in the end, it was so easy for him to get a divorce!

Stolas doesn't even bother to tell Octavia about why he did what he did and give a proper explaination. It might be hard to talk to your children about things, but dude.... she 17!

STOLAS GOES RIGHT BACK TO HIS AFFAIR WITH BLITZO AFTER HIS TALK WITH OCTAVIA!! It's like he didn't even consider how Octavia would feel about it! This show really has a problem with making things happen only to not follow through with the plot.

       So Loona, remind me again why we have to cut Stolas some slack. What -- because he cares? Because that's basically what she's telling Octavia. She pretty much said, "You should cut your dad some slack because he cares about you. He loves you and you love him too. So he deserves to be forgiven." Octavia does love Stolas -- I mean, no sh*t. So what? Look, it's okay for Octavia to love Stolas. Even when a parent does mess up all the time, it usually doesn't stop the child from loving them. Stolas definitely isn't a good father. But despite this, Octavia still loves him and that's fine.

       BUT, you can't honestly expect to forgive a parent so easily or even make excuses for their inexcusable actions. While Octavia can love her dad, she is FULLY in the right to be mad at Stolas! And if she wanted, she would DEFINITELY be in the right to tell him off, cuz he deserves it! Stolas clearly does love Octavia and he cares about her, but as a father, he never fully admits to his faults. He is emotionally negligent of his daughter and he always acts so innapropriately around her. Flirting with Blitzo and fighting with Stella right in front of her while knowing she's a vulnerable 17-year-old girl who has to see that.

THIRD of all; I already said it once -- Imma say it again:

       WHAT RIGHT DOES LOONA HAVE TO TALK ON STOLAS'S BEHALF!! ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE WAS SO QUICK TO KICK BLITZO IN THE BALLS AFTER HE TRIED TO EMBRACE HER???!!!! Now I know most of you had to have felt disappointed about this! Loona went from beating up her dad, to giving a speech about fathers, making it seem like that she was gonna be more nice to Blitzo, only to go RIGHT BACK to being an abusive b*tch and beating the sh*t outa him. Like, WHAT WAS THE POINT??? If she knows that Blitzo cares and supposedly appreciates it, then why continue to abuse him?? It's so ironic how she's going to give Octavia a lecture while not realizing that the way she's been acting is wrong! Not to mention how forced they push this sister moment even though the two only spoke to each other for two minutes.

       Moral of the matter is, Loona is a hypocritical abusive b*tch! I don't care what kind of backstory you give me. I don't care how sad you try to make the backstory. You can try to force anything you want on Loona -- It won't make me change my mind about her.

Octavia (And Stolas as a "father")

       Words can't express how utterly bad I feel for this girl. Just, like -- just what are these writers trying to do with her??? I genuinely feel like she's only exist solely to make it seem like Stolas is a good father, yet they do a terrible job showing it.

       So we have episode 2 of season 1 where Octavia is shown to be a miserable teenager. Why is she miserable? Not only is it because of her parents' constant fighting, but also because of Stolas's affair, which seemed to make things worse in Octavia eyes (because according to her, Stella and Stolas didn't fight all the time and their relationship seemed a little decent). And let's not forget when Octavia went with Stolas to Loo Loo Land to spend the day with him, only for Stolas to invite his one and only booty call to flirt and make sexual remarks (and in front of her, no less). He negleted Octavia that entire time, and that's his main problem! He never bothers to listen to her! He's always brushing her off. He might as well be ignoring her!! And when she finally calls him out on it, the writers made it to where she was only worried about ONE THING just to excuse Stolas's actions and continue these affairs with Blitzo! And after that, she instantly forgives him!!

       It makes NO SENSE for Octavia to only be worried about Stolas leaving her and be cool with him sleeping with Blitzo! IT MAKES NOT AN OUNCE OF SENSE AT ALL!! Especially when Octavia made it pretty clear that Stolas ruined the family over what he did! The whole time, she showed obvious signs of anger and resentment everytime Stolas got horny and flirted with the man he had an affair with!

       Then we have this episode!! Stolas forgot his promise to look at the meteor shower with Octavia and brushes her off once more so he can bicker with Stella (as if that's more important than speaking with your daughter). So Octavia travels to L.A. to see the meteor shower herself! Stolas doesn't even try to look for Octavia! He wastes his entire time focusing on Blitzo! By then end of the episode, Octavia didn't get to see the stars and is feeling upset over Stolas not being there with her, and rightfully so! But Loona comes across her and gives her a pointless speech about how much her dad cares, even when he doesn't show it! And guess what..... she instantly forgives him ONCE AGAIN! So, let me get this straight -- Octavia was in the wrong here? She was totally wrong for being upset at her father for ignoring her? She should've acknowledge the fact that he's "trying" to be a good dad?

       I swear!!-- It's like Octavia is not allowed to be upset with Stolas for the whole episode! Loona doesn't even know Stolas, and yet she's trying to defend him!!! AND HE DOESN'T EVEN DERERVE IT, LIKE???? He would constantly choose his d*ck over his own daughter! And if you're gonna deny that, then let me remind you that Stolas had an affair and without considering his daughter's feelings about it! Or the fact that he made sexual remarks towards Blitzo countless of times in front of her! He doesn't even bother to look for her because he was more concern with Blitzo and his troubles! Oh, but he's trying.... Stolas is trying to be a good daddy?

       My god! People are over here cheering Stolas on for finally talking mess to Stella over the phone! They don't even realize that he's yelling at his ex right in front of his daughter, while at the same time, not realizing how conflicted her situation is! So we have to feel bad for Octavia, but also laugh at Stolas for b*tch talking his ex even if Octavia made it pretty clear that she hated seeing her parents fight? Wow.... For something that's suppose to be serious and depressing, it makes a good laugh, doesn't it? Stolas is not being mature about it at all. He's actually being more childish for fighting back at Stella and just trying to get the last word. Not to mention that it was such terrible timing since Octavia was feeling so happy about spending time with her dad and when she tryna grab his attention, he brushes her off so he can talk more mess to Stella and fans are rooting for him??? Yeah, whoop-de-freakin'-do! Good job Stolas! No, really... I'm very proud of you...

        This kinda thing goes to show me how much the writers don't care at all about Octavia as a character. If anything, she's more of a trump card to making us feel bad for Stolas or pat him on the back for being such a "GoOd FaThEr". "Just screw the fact that she has to deal with the toxicity of her family, constantly seeing them fight, or her father acting so innapropriately around her! Let's just have more Stolitz so the fans can suck up to us!"

       Point in blank, Stolas is NOT a good dad! I don't care what Loona tries to convince in defense of him. What she says is completely invalid anyway. It doesn't matter that he cares about her or that he loves her. It doesn't matter that he'll never leave her. He hardly does anything to show care about Octavia. And when he is doing something, he's doing a TERRIBLE JOB! He doesn't deserve any sympathy from me. Hell -- Blitzo is a better father than Stolas, and he's not even good person in general.

Octavia deserves way better than this.

I honestly can't express enough how much this ship disgusts me. This is literally the most "try-hard" ship I ever seen. It feels so forced!

       The main problem with this topic is that Viv gives WAY too much attention to this ship to give a sh*t about ANYTHING ELSE!! Like we're literally given a thumbnail on youtube where it shows Octavia and Loona. In a way, that tells us that the episode was possibly going to be about those two. BUT NOPE!! Just had to have another episode where it's just Stolas and Blitzo. Doesn't even make any sense to put Via and Loona in the thumbnail considering those two only had two minutes of conversation. At this point, we can't go through ONE episode without a scene where its just Blitzo and Stolas, especially when its not even needed! NO! Stolas did not have to spend any time watching over Blitzo perform some stupid sitcom!! He did not need to be there for that. Its like he forgot the only reason why he even showed up in L.A. in the first place! And that was to look for his daughter! His daughter could've been in some sort of danger walking around the city and Stolas is worried more over Blitzo, so he sticks with him. Once again, he puts his stupid crush before his own daughter!!

       What kind of progress are we seeing for Stolitzo anyway??? Is the show seriously gonna forget about the Ozzie's episode?? Y'know? The one where Blitzo invites Stolas on a date only because he wanted to spy on M&M and needed an escort to Ozzie's. One where he humiliates himself and Stolas got called out on his b.s.? One where Blitzo gets upset and rejects Stolas, making it seem like he probably wanted nothing to do with him anymore, and making it very clear to Stolas that Blitzo never reciprocated any feelings for him? You see where I'm going with this?

       So after that episode, you expect me to believe that Blitzo is suddenly cool with Stolas?? That he just doesn't feel awkward or upset around him after their disaster date night? And these two are just talking to each like they're all boyfriends now!! Shouldn't they feel at least a little uncomfortable around each other? What -- are they just pretending that what happened in their date didn't happen? It could be because they wanted to focus more on finding Via, but it wouldn't make any lick of sense since they get themselves sidetracked anyway. It shouldn't even interfere that much in the state of their relationship anyway. It would make sense for them to feel a little discomfort. This is another example of terrible writing and it brings me back to what I said in the last page:

"One thing happens and suddenly that thing changes, and with no explanation as to why that something is how it is. Or when something happens so suddenly and it just seems out of character, you're left with no explaination as to why or how that happened. It just happens and you're left confused."

       This folks is a good example: Stolas and Blitzo had a falling out and Blitzo was rightfully upset with Stolas. Then all of a sudden, they're all cool now! There was no explanation to why there suddenly good with each other. There was no show of them talking things out. They're just completely normal now!

Like -- I can't. I just can't.

So yeah, I hated this episode. I always expect something good, but I'm just left disappointed. There are plenty of other things I can say about this episode, but I just don't have the energy.

I can't believe I'm doing this again, but...

ANOTHER YUZURU HANYU RANT INCOMING:

After Beijing I swore I wouldn't read opinion pieces or listen to any commentary about Yuzuru and his career (especially not by Americans), but self-destructive me couldn't help it and now I'm mad, like really mad and nobody in my real life cares, so I'm gonna write this into the void that is the internet🤣

My question at this point is, what else does this man have to do to be acknowledged as the greatest (male) figure skater of all time (and yes, I'm talking objectively)? After what I've read/seen I just don't know anymore, but let's just look at some indisputable facts, shall we?

He is the only men who has won every competition on the junior as well as the senior level.

He has won back to back Olympic gold medals, which hasn't been done since 1952. And if we're being honest here, figure skating then was a completely different sport. So nobody has done it in modern figure skating

He also has 7 World medals (2 of which are gold). I don't know if people, especially the ones saying that there are people with more titles, know how crazy it is to be consistantly medaling at Wolds over a DECADE, not just a quad. Again no other man has done that in modern figure skating and only 4 men have more Worlds medals but guess what, that was PRE WORLD WAR 2!

He has been one of the people pushing the quad revolution forward, being the first to land the quad Loop. So, another one for the record books. And of course the whole 4A saga, that he has been the driving force behind for the last few years. And don't tell me someone else has tried it before, because yes, I know someone has, but nobody has brought that jump into the conciousness of the other skaters and the public like Yuzuru has. It was considered impossible until he started openly training it and now everyone and their mother wants to try it, too.

He has broken 19 World records, more than any other person and also over the timespan of a decade, which again, is insane in a sport people often don't (or can't) even compete that long in general at the senior level.

He won 4 Grand Prix Finals, which also noone else has done (and consecutively I might add).

Now those are some facts. Now you can of course also talk subjective points like the effortlessness with which he skates, the musicality and fluidity but that is not what this little (or maybe big😊) rant is about, cause I know there are people who for some reason don't like that style and prefer something else. Alright, you do you! Not my point right now.

I am also aware that the populatity of someone in whatever field doesn't automatically make them great, but if you take a look outside the tight knit skating community (which I know a lot of people in there, especially in the US, don't like to do) and see the impact Yuzuru Hanyu has had on this sport, it is quite astounding. The amount of people becoming interested and invested in figure skating all over the world because of one person is insane. His name alone can fill arenas.

The reason I'm mentioning this is the question I've asked at the beginning. What else does he have to do? If all the medals, titles and records aren't enough, what else? Maybe being the face of the entire sport? Maybe his unique style? Maybe the fact that the ISU changed the scoring system to scew over one person and show him the door cause he got bigger than the sport itself?

Now I thought maybe Beijing could be that competition where people finally acknowledge the fact that there has never been anyone, who was better but of course the man has to have the most bad luck a person can possibly have at a competition. But you know what? I honestly think had there been another outcome, it wouldn't have changed anything, cause it's just never enough, no matter what he does.

It will always be "He may be one of the greatest" or at most "He is one of the greatest". No, you know what, if you take all the biased bullsh*t and subjectivity out of the discussion and look strictly at what he has accomplished? He IS the greatest of all time.

Now I don't even know why I wrote this about someone doesn't know I exist and that I obviously don't know, but I've been following Yuzu's career since I was 14 (and he was 16) and figure skating has always been "my thing" since even before that. So even though it's stupid I just needed to get this of my chest and for some reason I feel better now even if it doesn't really matter🤣 (and I'm pretty sure Yuzu's a lot more hung up on that damn 4A than all of this, but I can't help it)

So, I don't have an answer to my original question, but maybe someone else would like to enlighten me or has some other comment?😅

OOC: I've been doing some self-reflecting lately and thinking a lot of things over and... well I figured I'd post a particular thought here, because maybe some of you can relate to it. It pertains to folks around you not really understanding some of your hobbies... like characters and roleplay. But I'll post it beneath the cut so I can ramble a bit:

A lot of you guys know that I've been focusing on my mental health recently and I started thinking about... when did I start having less motivation to do certain things. I used to draw art, I used to write fanfictions, I used to roleplay every day, I used to have amazing ideas for stories and drawings. I also made fanvideos. I used to love doing that. But why did all of that change? I no longer do any of that, at least not as consistently as I used to. I try from time to time, but yeah... besides mental energy being an issue, which I hope to take care of in due time... I think it had a little something to do with the people around me.

I'll try not to rant or anything like that here, but one of my coping mechanisms in school, was to draw. It was so hard for me to pay attention in class because my mind wandered and wouldn't focus on what the teacher was saying. Drawing seemed to focus me in the moment and it actually did help me pay attention to what the teacher was saying. I actually improved my drawing skills quite a bit during these years while making good grades in college. The problem was... no one around me got it. I'd always sit and draw some of the same characters, characters that I was passionate about, characters that I wrote about etc. etc. Because it was easy for me to imagine them in my head and then draw them. It made me happy... and yet... the people around me took it as me being creepily obsessed, because they didn't understand that I needed to fidget to focus. Something that wouldn't take too much brain power, so I could focus on the teacher... and I would get picked on for it. One student went as far as buying a t-shirt that said "Friends don't let friends obsess over celebrities" and wore it one day just to make sure that I saw it.

And yeah I get "obsessing" over a celebrity is bad, but that's not exactly what I was doing. I did have favorite actors, I think that's normal, especially if they play a few characters that you enjoy. But I saw it the same as liking a particular band and buying more than one of their CD's. You can like an actor for their talent too. But I never drew the actor. I drew the characters.

But that's besides the point. People made it their business to get in my business and make me feel bad about the things that I enjoyed.

A lot of my favorite characters from shows and movies, they tend to be older. Which made a lot of people even less understanding. They seem to think that the only reason to like a character or their actor is because you surely must like them for the way that they look. That had to be the ONLY reason in their eyes. It wasn't. A lot of older characters tends to have a lot of baggage and I kinda like poking into that and exploring that because that's what I find interesting. But again, folks don't understand that. I got made fun of quite a lot for having "an old man fetish", even my family thought so and no amount of me explaining why I liked certain characters made them think otherwise.

I got told that I couldn't have screensavers of my favorite characters, because that meant that you must find it aesthetically pleasing which just further proved their point. And the best part of all of these? I was told I was going to burn in hell for "lusting" after these people. I am not even joking. I was actually told this.

So I did retreat honestly. I stopped immersing myself in my favorite characters and their worlds because it gave me nothing but stress. Every time I watch something now I tell myself not to get a favorite character or actor because I don't want to get "obsessed" anymore because I don't want to go through that again.

I write all of this because I was just watching something on YouTube that basically said this. If you're passionate about something, you'll find people who will like you for it. People like people who are passionate about things. And I got to thinking about that and it's true. You will find a few. Just keep being you and the right people will find you, eventually. I guess I haven't found too many people like that in my personal life. People online? Yeah I have found more acceptance online than in person. I think where I live is backwards thinking, but that doesn't make it hurt any less.

I guess what I want to get around to saying is... sometimes people suck, because they don't understand, but that doesn't mean that you should let others dictate your life and the things that you like and enjoy. Be passionate about the things that you like. Do what makes you happy. Don't listen to other people... because society has a way of pushing those who are different back in line... but don't sacrifice the things that you like and enjoy for other people, because the only one who will be miserable later is yourself. You may not be being picked on anymore... but if you become miserable in the process, is it really worth it? I am going to say no. It's not worth it. You be you. Do what makes you happy and don't listen to anyone else.

I don't know if anyone needed to hear that or not. But it's a lesson I had to learn the hard way and a lesson that I'm still trying to learn. I need to learn to just let myself enjoy things without judgement or worry about what others might think. in the end, it's not worth it.

alrighty I know you are most probably swamped by asks but I just wanted you to know that I absolutely adore your take on VLD. As someone who loves to pick and choose to build from canon rather than outright ignoring it, it's so lovely to see someone put in as much effort as you do and build the world you have. Even all the galra culture, biology, etc. headcanons. They are wonderful. I honestly can't thank you enough because I keep thinking about all the ways VLD was a wasted opportunity and get sad. BUT! Then I remember your fic and blog and feel better again.

I can't get enough of the nuance you weave in, how real you make all of them seem. The conflict, the slow but sure way in which they learn to erase the prejudice in their heads, the gradual build of trust, the devastating guilt. And oh, the way you deal with morality *chef's kiss*. It's so refreshing.

I have so much more to say about the how you write Keitor (the breathless intensity in each of their interactions,,,,, sweet mercy) and Matt and Keith's relationship (I have always imagined them as friends for inexplicable reasons and I was delighted to see it as a part of your fic) but I'm gonna stop the rant. If I don't then I might just go on and talk about how every single relationship is so beautifully balanced in your fic and that would,,,, be a little too long of a rant lmao.

Risking to get lynched, I have to say the Proof "live" was extremely disappointing. Not even 30 minutes, three songs and in between a small conversation about things we've heard already a million times. Yes, we know the pandemic was hard, yes, we know you were sad, yes, we know that you can't live without Army. I feel like they've been repeating the same words for almost two years now. And that's also how their songs sound like by now. Repetitive.

I have to admit I had to laugh a little bit when J-Hope said that they didn't wanna do the same thing again after Dynamite and which is why they released BE. When immediately after BE followed Butter. And then PTD. And the songs on BE kinda sound like YTC and For Youth now.

It doesn't feel fresh anymore at all. I'm giving Dynamite a pass because while musically speaking it wasn't a masterpiece, at this point Dynamite was unique for BTS and Dynamite definitely is their most successful song, no matter what the charts said (mass buying is a thing, Butter knows about that the best. I do wonder though if they'll even get a top 3 place for YTC on Hot 100). Everything that followed after Dynamite though, it felt half hearted. It felt like BTS released music out of necessity and because they wanted the success on the charts and the money. But was made BTS BTS, soul in their music, meaningful lyrics, it's honestly gone. Now it's pandering to the general western audience or feeding the already getting out of hand parasocial relationship.

I don't know if the guys are just genuinely exhausted, maybe after 9 years they reached their peak and now it's just going downwards. Maybe some of them might even be done with group music and want to continue on their own? Or try different things? But if that's the case I honestly wish they would just say so instead of making mediocre songs to get some more pennies in their pocket.

On another not, Jimin's voice in For Youth and YTC is heavenly and probably the only thing that stood out to me in these both songs, that are so extremely similar. I'm sad that his voice wasn't used more. Even in Run BTS his parts are the highlight and are the ones that are going viral. I honestly don't understand why Jimin has to take the backseat during this era.

Let's set aside the talk in between songs. That was obviously useless, with them saying basically the same thing they keep repeating for a couple of years now. We know it's meaningless.

About the performance itself, yes it was short and I see why it felt underwhelming, but at least this time they are going to Korean music shows so that adds up to their promotions and I'm more excited about that. On to the positives, I was pleasantly surprised by the setup and the transition between songs. It wasn't a bad video and production. Anderson Paak as a guest on the drums was a really nice addition and I think the singing itself was truly the best part and it was enhanced by having a live band and back-up singers. An electric guitar does wonders. It sounded like actual music, and not some basic tracks filled with unnecesary autotune. I wish they would do this more often because it could give them the opportunity to at least show that they can sing live like that. Yes, Jimin's voice is heavenly. I know a lot of people are complaining about his lack of lines, but BTS explained the process of recording so I'm going to go with the official explanation and not some conspiracy that Jimin intentionally gets less. I know I had an anon saying that V lately gets more lines, but it's not true. Jungkook does and always had due to his position in the vocal line. Of course I personally would want to hear Jimin sing more, his voice brings that uniqueness to every BTS song, but we can't always get what we want.

I think BTS needs a break to figure out what is best for them musically. Are they in just for the money? Because if so, songs like Butter and Dynamite can bring them that, but are also the type of forgettable releases that can't be distinguished from a basic pop song that sounds the same as a 100 more. If they want their soundscape to reflect something different, which they did have in the past, then they should work in that direction. Are they making music just for mass appeal, thinking that this what their fans want, or do they also want to make music that they like? Perhaps the answer will be found if they continue with a form of solo career in which each can show what is closer to their musical taste and abilities and leave the bubble gum pop to BTS tracks.

This is just a rambly rant post about Dreamworks Dragons: The nine realms.

One of the series I really tried to like because I have an absolute love for the books and the movies! So I thought that I'd take a crack at the TV series considering their previous television series, Dragons: Race to the Edge, was decent.

Not this one...

It's disappointing. Vexxing if you've loved How To Train Your Dragon for years.

I honestly thought the story was going to go in a similiar direction to the television series' Slugterra, Storm Hawks, or even Max Steel but that was just wishful thinking. You see in my mind I genuinely thought that the show was about a boy who's parents were scientist who went down into a cave to map out some unknown territory and then all of a sudden go missing. The boy finds his parents journal that contain a few hidden things and everything to do with the secrets of the dragons - and considering that the protagonist is a long decendant of Hiccup - would want to keep the secret safe away from pouchers and the like. With his friends and the new world technology they find many ways to keep the dragons a secret, protecting them from the world above who wish them harm.

Nope. It's nothing like that. I honestly cannot tell you what this series is suppose to be about expect a retelling of the movies...in a cheaper budgeted way and not at all inspiring or invigorating. I'd say if you wanted to waste time then watch it- but in all honesty, just rewatch the movies. Some episodes are just carbon copies of the movie plots, some are aggravating to watch and others just make absolutely no sense at all. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE CHARACTERS WITH NO CHARACTER!!!

Dear Dreamworks, get better writers. I'll even give you that little nugget of inspiration up there ^^^ just stop this cash-grab nonsense, get people who actually love the material and want to do a better job- and if anyone starts with me saying its for children - shut up! Shows for kids that even adults can enjoy: Bluey. I don't need to say anymore.

Fanfiction Rants (Comments)

This is not saying to not comment! Yes comment on stories and other fanworks please!

Okay, I know that I really shouldn't complain about getting comments on my stories. I love getting comments on my stories! Every fanfiction author loves to get comments on their stories! It's one of the best things someone can do for your stories. I'm a big believer that people need to post more comments to stories. Show the love within the community because just because a story has many 500 kudos and 1000 hits, it just doesn't feel the same way as getting a comment!

But as a fanfiction author I want to ask others in the community, do certain types of comments bother you? Like you worked really hard on a story it's something that you really cared about, you've gone back and edited it as many times as possible and you finally post it, happy with your work. You get that little ping in your inbox that someone has left a comment so you go back (I use A03 so I'm just going to use that website as I go through this.) to A03 to read the comment and respond but it's nothing about how good the story is or the plot, no nothing like that. It's a message saying how you messed up the spelling or grammar of a word. I'm not shitting on those that point out flaws. Some people like it. If they like it then yes go ahead and keep finding their mistakes.

Here's why this bothers me. I use to write on Wattpad. . .like a lot, I know, I know, but please don't judge me. We've all had dark times.

I'm joking the reason I use to write on Wattpad was because I started writing in middle school, SHOCKER, and Wattpad to me was the easiest way to write on my phone. Now I couldn't even dream of writing on my phone. I would get comments often on my stories, and truthfully this is another reason I don't like to use Wattpad anymore. While I like the way they do their comments system, letting you pick a specific part of the story and comment so you know exactly where it came from, it also causes a lot of negative feedback for the author.

I would have twenty people point out the exact same mistake. I would have people holding conversations that had nothing to do with the story in the comments.

I eventually had to post something at the begging of all of my One-Shot collections. A whole disclaimer that said if you find a mistake then you are free to point it out, but please pay attention because if someone has already pointed it out then I can guarantee that I have already seen it. I added that people do not hold conversations in my comments, that's what DM is for. This worked, but I wasn't angry at the people who left those grammar comments on my stories, it really did help.

I was angry at the comments that mentioned the same mistake as many before them. I was angry at the comments that started, "I know people don't like their mistakes pointed out but it bothered me so much I just had to. So you made this mistake," because honestly you didn't have to. Another reason the grammar ones made me angry was that you could ask for a beta, but no one would offer it. You have all the grammar police who are happy to point out every single one of your mistakes but when you point out you're looking for a beta it's like they all disappear.

Maybe it's just me, but I get fewer comments like this on A03 and I'm happier because of it. Take this as one of the many reasons why I stopped using Wattpad.

Now for the comment that started this whole rant. I had just woken up and was checking all my notifications and I see in my email that I received a comment on a story I'm working very hard on. I update it every two weeks with at least 5000 words every chapter and its going to have 80 or more chapters, like I really care about this story. All the comment says is, "this is on wattpad."

Maybe it's the tone I read the comment, but it felt like I was being accused of stealing my own story simply because I didn't have cross-posted on Wattpad in the tags. The reason it's not in the tags is that I have more important tags to go in the story. I responded as nicely as I could, but I just felt like this comment hurt. This comment made it sound like I found this story on Wattpad and since it hasn't been updated there in maybe two years (I took a long hiatus from everything) I saw it, stole it, posted it on Ao3, and continued it as if it was mine, but I didn't. This is my story. I can log into Wattpad and delete on there for all I care, but I don't simply because my A03 is linked. If they like the story and want to continue it you know where to find it.

This isn't the only story I transferred from my Wattpad over to my A03 either. I have a lot of stories, over 100 stories on Wattpad, if you count everything in my one-shot books. I just didn't move them over because I care about my AO3 account more. Lots of those one-shots were written for practice or to figure out how to expand my stories, maybe learn to write a new character. I don't want a story I don't particularly like or one that doesn't fit the format of AO3 to go on my preferred website.

I might be reading too much into it, but if you really think I stole the story then you are free to look at my collection of stories on AO3. You will find other stories that are also on Wattpad. Just don't go around accusing people of stealing stories without doing your research first please, because then you get authors that feel bad.

and hey maybe I read the tone of the comment wrong but think of this as a PSA about commenting on fanfiction. Yes, do it, please! Authors need comments and I'm bad about it too. I would rather just leave a kudos and go, but if you like the story and you're willing to bookmark it, then it deserves a comment. Just don't leave something that will give a negative reaction. Be respectful to your fan creators and vice versa.

As you occasionally go out, you probably spend a lot of time at home and that's okay. Akutagawa is mostly pretty busy with the port mafia, and trying to have Dazai aknowledge him - please give this boy some love and comfort somehow T-T You both would have taken quite some time to be close to each other but i'll let it up to you to imagine how you met him, first, were you in the ADA, the PM or something else? What were your relationships with the characters he knows ? What about Dazai ?

I can imagine some sort of angst caused by dazai between you and akutagawa, oh - gotta write this idea down ! But yeah, he probably have a lot of his mind. Take good care of him if that's possible, he doesn't talk a lot , try not to force anything ? You might shy away, but don't worry, akutagawa does care about you and he doesn't want to lose you.

He's not always busy so you might occasionaly go on dates with him to some coffe shops or something like that !

You don't have to be afraid of what people think about you anymore.. You more like have to be afraid for the people who thinks badly about you and express it in any ways. Akutagawa might kill them without any mercy, especially if it affects you. And he'll just say one or two words about how they are pathetic. That's about it, I don't think that's supposed to be better since some people are dying but yeah-

If you feel upset or sad akutagawa will probably silently let you rant or cry on him, 25162662 thoughts and questions rushing in his head while he tries to comfort you - he might seems distant but forgive him for that,he actually does care about you and will do some things to cheer you up in his own manner, if anyone caused you to feel upset, be scared for them-

Nontheless, you can feel safe around him, he'll take good care of you, even if he struggles to show his care.

Felt like crying, so I came to you, my friend! Mc and Mammon went out shopping, specifically to buy gifts for his brothers, as an apology. When they get back home they are met with hostility. They berate Mammon until Mc screams at them to shut up, then rips into each of them for their treatment of Mammon. Then finishes with "Don't expect Mammon to stay here when he can live with me in the humanworld. I'm done with you. Mammon, lets go, you deserve better, love" and leaves w/ Mammon. Thank you!

You came to me because you felt like crying and that gives me two (2) things to think about. 1.) I'm apparently someone who people see as a tissue? 2.) My angst is just THAT good. Also! Apparently today is rain on Mammon day and I'm here for it not me avoiding my exam to write these things

Soul-Searching (MAMMON X GN!READER ft. THE BROTHERS)

“You know, I’m proud of you for suggesting this.” Truly, you were. Mammon was your favorite and you felt for him, but you also completely understood where his brothers came from. At first, it honestly annoyed you as well; the constant stealing, the lying… You tried blaming it on his avatar, but even then it doesn’t explain the lying that comes with it. However, you do realize that it’s a habit and it’s a habit that is hard to fix, so instead of constantly getting onto him like the rest, you tried to understand him a bit more and give him some life advice. So far, you have managed to get Mammon to give back all the things he has recently taken from his brothers, and some of them even got an apology. You’ll be working on how to properly apologize, though, because oof, that was a mess. 

And now? Now you managed to take a small trip with him downtown to at least attempt to make things better. Mammon is now, or at least today, using his own money to buy some things that his brothers would be fond of: a new vinyl player for Lucifer (non-cursed), a new Ruri-chan t-shirt for Leviathan, a neck pillow for Satan because lord knows he has some cramps back there with the way he leans over and down to read his books. Then some perfume for Asmodeus that he had been swooning about, a gift card to Beel’s favorite restaurant for the glutton, and a heated blanket for Belphie. You were proud, truly, that Mammon wanted to do this. As a matter of fact, he was the one who suggested it. “Maybe… uh.. I could… ya know… buy somethin’ they like” is what he said. You were just excited and agreed to help. 

Now you were going back to the house with a few shopping bags and ice cream almost fully eaten. You paid for the ice cream, as a way to reward Mammon, and you’re sure he’s secretly thanking you for that because some of these items truly did burn a hole into his credit card, which is partially his fault. “Lucifer deserves more than some random vinyl player.” his words, not yours. Also “satan needs one of them neck pillows that massage it, too!” again, his words. So yeah, some money was definitely spent on these items, but… once again, you were proud. “I think they’ll love everything, Mam. They’d be fools if they didn’t.” Hearing you say that made Mammon feel a lot better, honestly, and a small rush of confidence came to the surface “Ya betcha they will! Nothin’ but the best from the Great Mammon!” You just laughed. 

However, upon arrival, it was a different sight. As a matter of fact, you barely made it through the door before Beel was grumbling something about Mammon eating his custard, which is true, but it’s just a custard? “MAAMMMOONNN!!” and then there was Lucifer who appeared so fast you wondered if he was even real. He went on a whole rant about how irresponsible Mammon is and how another bill came in the mail that talks about Mammon’s debt. Satan and Belphegor teamed up to show empty hands, which left both you and Mammon confused, but then “do you see anything here? No? That’s because you sold our belongings, Mammon!” Mammon can be lucky that Leviathan was still holed up in his room because he just remembered that he also, at some point in the past, sold one of Levi’s figures. Asmodeus came last and honestly he wasn’t mad, he was just annoyed. “I saw you go through my things, Mammon. Nothing was taken, but it was still so incredibly rude!” 

Next followed a screaming match which was basically just Mammon trying to defend himself, trying to show the bags and apologize, but none of them would have it. It irritated you. Yes, they had every right to be mad because personal belongings should stay with their owner(s), but at the same time, they didn’t even give Mammon a chance to explain, especially after he’s been holding the bags up and attempting to apologize. “You’re so stupid, Mammon” “StupidMammon” “so irresponsible. You know better than that. Do you need another time out session, Mammon?” “I can’t believe you’d go through my stuff again!” by now your eyes were twitching and the voices echoing off the walls surely didn’t help your case. One more word and you’d snap, surely, especially since Mammon’s hand is now shaking and you grabbing it did nothing at all. “We would be better off without you.”

Ah yes, there it is. The final straw. The amount of anger boiling inside you right now isn’t even manageable anymore and you’re surprised that Satan, as the Avatar of Wrath, has yet to notice it. “Shut up! Shut up, Shut up, Shut up! All of you!” You yanked Mammon behind you, almost protectively and Belphegor found the need to laugh at it. “Really? You’re going to protect him?” Oh, there. That’s your first victim. “Are you really that dense, Belphegor, or is sleep still clouding your brain cells? That is your brother you’re currently making fun of and I don’t know about you, but I was taught that family sticks together, blood related or by choice. So how about you get your head out of dreamland, take this stupid heated blanket that he bought for you, as an apology, and wake up for a second.” yes, you did throw the bag at him and then you pointed your finger at Beel. You’d regret later on that you’re tearing into him as well because Beel means well at the end of the day, but still, he was also part of this. 

“You’re my least worry, Beel. Honestly you’re too caught up in your burgers and brawns to care for a second that your brother tries very hard to be liked by all of you. Sad, really.” you threw the card at him too. As a matter of fact, you threw all of the bags right in front of them. “And then Asmo.. oh my God, first of all, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Shocker, I know. If you were half as empathetic toward your family as you are obsessed with yourself, maybe you wouldn’t feel the need to always go party and drink your life away. Oh, I’m sorry, did that hit just a little too hard? Can’t be harder than the hangovers you wake up with on a regular basis.” You glared at him before turning your attention to Satan. “Honestly, if you weren’t such a baby inside I may actually be scared of you. You always complain about how stupid he is, how he needs to just learn, but you? What do you do all day? You hole yourself up in your room and read about worlds that you wish you could enter. News flash: you’d die before you had the chance to say hello. People don’t like self-proclaimed assholes. Mammon IS smart. He’s very talented, too, but you’re too far up in Shakespeare’s ass that you fail to realize that everyone has knowledge in different fields of life. Give me a break.” 

Satan was about to retort but you already moved on to Levi. “and you! Let’s be honest, if it weren’t for you wallowing in self-pity and fake depression, you would have absolutely no personality traits. What are you again? The Avatar of Envy? How about instead of being envious of others’ accomplishments, you actually start working on yourself. It’s truly pathetic that a couple millenia old demon’s only purpose in life is ramen and self inflicted emotional pain. Seriously, what are you? A pitiful loner? I can’t even begin to empathize with you in any way, shape, or form.” Your blood was boiling right now and maybe if they hadn’t attacked Mammon like they did, you would’ve felt bad about Levi’s sad face right now, but there was still one person left to deal with.”

“And you… beautiful, responsible, way-too-good-for-you older brother, Lucifer.” He’s been glaring at you this whole time, arms crossed over his chest but you stood your ground. You’re not quite sure how you managed, but you did. “You call yourself the best, the most responsible. You constantly say this family would fall apart without you, but that’s not it, is it? I think you’re just lonely. You force these six to be by you, to respect you and borderline worship you. Not because you deserve it…” you chuckled, shaking your head, “no. You’re just so sad that Daddy and Michael left you, mocked you, that you turned your sadness into anger and took it out on these six, but especially Mammon. Why? Because you see yourself in him. You call him your favorite brother, but it’s not because he actually is… he just reminds you of everything you used to be: fun, reckless, and feeling. Now you’re just cold, mean, and bitter. Don’t bother calling yourself the mighty first because without him you would be neither. Maybe if you pulled that stick out of your arse and actually tried to get to know your brothers, maybe you wouldn’t be so lonely all the time. Family, right? That’s what you want. How about you start acting like one.” 

You shook your head after that, grabbing Mammon’s hand and kicking the bags in front of you before dragging Mammon back out the door. “Those are for you, by the way. Not that you deserve them, but they’re Mammon’s way of apologizing for all the things you accused him of the minute he set foot into the house. Have fun. We’re going to the castle and, if we’re lucky, to a real home.”

The record shop is busier than usual this evening…Yoongi has tried his best to stop by yours and Taehyung’s table to chat but another customer keeps walking in one after the other. You chuckle, waving him off, telling him to work.

“And Jungkook doesn’t know?” Taehyung frowns at you, “Like, this is huge y/n. And you haven’t told him?”

“Not yet, at least.” You admit, bringing your coffee mug to your lips. “I’m going to have to eventually though right…”

“Who else doesn’t know?”

“Everyone knows actually.”

“Oh girl, that’s not good.”

“What do you mean?” you bring the coffee mug back to the table, your fingers strumming the side of the mug.

“You’re telling me he is the last to know? That’s just…not going to sit right with him and you know that.”

Fuck, he’s right. Jungkook is your best friend, your boyfriend, the man you live with, the man you love…and he has no idea you’re about to move to another country. You got accepted to work in Japan for a year and you could not be more excited. But there’s this huge weight on your entire body, the weight equal to one man.

“I know, shit, but I just can’t. He’s going to act so supportive but I know how disappointed he will be. I mean, we just started living together recently you know? Our relationship is going so nicely and I don’t want to ruin that.” You rant, a frown pulling down your lips.

“I finally finished with my last customer.” You hear Yoongi walk up to your little corner of the record shop. “What are we talking about?” he pulls up his chair and sits down.

“y/n still hasn’t told Jungkook about Japan.”

“Still?” Yoongi looks disappointed to say the least. “y/n…”

“Guys, I know!” you throw your hands up, “I’m fucking up.”

“Wait, do the others know that Jungkook doesn’t know?”

“I didn’t necessarily announce that it’s a secret…” you bite your bottom lip, worry filling your body, “And he’s with Jin, Namjoon and Hobi tonight.”

“You should text them and tell them.”

“But it’s not the first time he’s hanging around them since I told them…so maybe I just don’t come up in conversation?” you respond hopefully.

“Yeah, not likely. Jungkook always finds a way to talk about you.” Tae grumbles. “Trust us, we would know.”

“Yeah, he’s right.” Yoongi agrees, “Listen, you need to tell him before he finds out from someone else.”

“I’ll tell him…” you pick up your mug and take a sip, “Tonight.”

Your apartment is dark and there’s no sign of life—Jungkook must still be out with the guys. You sigh in relief because although you said you would tell him tonight you are already chickening out. You know, you know. A cowards move. But honestly, it’s hard!

Right as you think you’re in the clear, you hear the front door opening from behind you. Jungkook is whistling some tune as he walks in and he lights up when he sees you.

“Baby.” He sings out, walking closer to you. “Hi.” He says before leaning down and pecking your lips.

“Hi, how was your night?” you ask as you slip off your shoes and head towards the bedroom.

“It was nice.” Jungkook continues to whistle, “How was yours? How are Tae and Yoongi? Anything new?”

“No, just the usual.” You shimmy out of your pants and slip off your shirt, leaving you in some panties and a bralette. You walk out of your room and into the bathroom to turn on the shower. The water is cold but is quickly heating up as you turn the knob, you enjoy how hot it’s getting.

“Should I join you?” You hear Jungkook say from behind you. He snakes his arms around your waist and kisses your neck.

“If you want babe.”

“I want you to want me to.” He pouts, “So, I’ll ask again…should I join you?”

You can’t help but giggle, turning around in his grasp and pulling at his shirt.

“Yes, please.” You say as he lifts his arms up for you to lift his shirt off. You eye your boyfriend over, his muscles look so strong and honestly? Did they get bigger? He has been hitting the gym more. His tattoos cover one of his arms and it’s such a sexy sight. You trace your fingers over his body art and he smiles down at you.

“Like what you see?”

“You know I do.” You breathe out and he reaches behind you and unclasps your bra.

“I like what I see too.” He says as your breasts are freed. “God, I love your tits.”

“The water is probably ready.” You smirk, sliding your panties down. Jungkook’s eyes follow your movement, he watches as the panties get dragged down leg by leg.

“Then let’s get in.” He’s taking off his own pants and boxers in one go, leaving him completely naked for you.

The two of you step in the shower, letting the hot water wash over your entire bodies. He lets you go under first as he squirts some shampoo in his palm.

“C’mere.” He commands. You step out from under the water and he massages the shampoo into your scalp, creating a bubbly mess. Then you go back under to rinse, this continues for the conditioner as well and then he’s soon washing your body with body wash, making sure he gets every corner and crevice of your body. Then you do the same for him, he loves when you wash his hair, your nails scratching at his scalp has him groaning.

“Missed you tonight.” He says quietly, “You missed me?”

“When am I not missing you?” you lean up to kiss him. He doesn’t let you lean away though as he leans in further to kiss you deeper. The water dribbles down your faces as you two have your lips moving quickly against one another. He nips at your bottom lip before his tongue tangles with yours, you moan into his mouth and he swallows it.

“Gonna fuck you?” he asks impatiently. His hard cock slipping between your folds as he grinds into you.

“Yes.” You respond breathlessly. “Yes.”

“You sure?”

“I’m sure?” You sit up on your elbows, confusion drawn on your face.

“y/n…” you hear him softly warn, “I’m giving you a chance to tell me.”

“Tell you what? I have nothing to tell you?”

That’s the moment you think you can physically see Jungkook’s heart break in his chest. His face falls dramatically as a frown takes over.

“Nothing at all?” he asks quietly and that’s when you know. He knows.

“What are you talking about, Jungkook?” you decide to say instead of the truth and his face twists into a look of disappointment.

“Were you ever going to tell me?” he looks down at his hands, “That you are apparently fucking moving? To japan?”

You feel yourself go pale.

“I—”
