Welcome to my Christian teen blog

I am starting this Blog ,because I think it will help me to grow closer to God and become more disciplined. I want to know more about God and the Bibel, I also want to share the things that i have learned. Hopefully I will inspire some people and help them. I don‘t know how big the christian community is on tumblr, maybe I will be talking to myself the whole time,but even if that was the case it would be therapeutic. So this blog benefits the kingdom of God, it benefits you and me. There is liteally no downside to it. God put this blog on my heart so I think it will reach the right people, maybe this is a big part of my ministry, I don‘t know what God is planing on doing with this blog, but I trust him with it.

I am a 17 years old girl , I live in germany (apologie for grammer and writing mistakes)but I’m writing this blog in english because I think I can reach more people with it if I do it in english than in german. I‘m currendly going to school so I‘m not sure how regulary I will post. Since the beginning of this year I am a real christian, my whole live I called myself a christian but I wasn‘t a real follower of christ, I was lukewarm. Luckly that changed and I‘m now truly saved. I always wanted to blog ,about a year ago I started blogging about books on tumblr, but not that regulary,then I forgot about tumblr for a while, I became a real follower of christ, and now I want to blog about God intead of books (exept the Bibel and christian books haha).

I will blog about certain topics that concern a lot of people and what it means to be a christian teen in this world. In this blog i will talk about my experiences as a christian and the things that I have learned on my journey with Jesus .I can already tell you what my next blog will be about, I will talk about my testimony, how I became the person that I am right now

Jesus, and you

so I was scrolling on twitter this morning, and I saw something that made me happy in my own heart, I saw that Jesus is trending this morning, and I started writing and I know someone needs to hear it.

Jesus said in John 14:6 “I Am The Way The Truth and The Life and no man gets to The Father except through Me” now friends, I don’t tell you this to condemn you, but to tell you that there is a hope far greater than what we can fathom in our brains, and that there is an eternal Life, and it truly is up to you if you want to spend it in heaven, or hell. I don’t tell you this out of hatred for you but out of love, Matthew 3:2 says “repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” turn from your sin and brokenness cast it all at the feet of Jesus, turn From death to life, because friends you are far more loved than you can even imagine, Jesus laid down His life that each of us may be saved and redeemed, friends that is the most beautiful thing. Jesus loves you and I love you.

I know that message may not make everyone feel the same happiness I felt when I saw that Jesus is trending on twitter this morning, I wrote that post because I know the whole world needs to hear that, the whole world needs to know how loved they are, it’s up to you if you want to receive that love, I know that God created us to have a relationship and fellowship with Him, the world is corrupt and full of brokenness and sin and strife and anger and bitterness, and I know that not everyone is going to come to a relationship with Jesus, and that hurts, christians aren’t out here preaching the gospel to annoy you or “force” our religion down your throat, we do this because we love you so deeply we dont want to see you hurting or broken or burning for an eternity.

Be Different

If we think of something different we usually think of something weird or strange. Most things that are different or new to us are strange or….outstanding. If we for example see five black cats and one pink cat, the pink one will stand out to us,right? That is because a pink cat is not normal for us, it is different. But just because something is different doesn‘t mean that it is bad or weird, it just draws attention to it’s self,because others aren‘t used to it. And it we aren‘t used to something we may think it is odd,but just because we think something is odd doesn‘t mean that it is odd. I hope you guys know what i mean.

God has called us to be different, outstanding,to be set apart from the world. He tells us to be the light of the world (matthew 5:14), he is the light in our lifes right? Since we encountered him our lifes got a lot brighter. It is important that we show the world this light, so that the world may also encounter him. We should also be the salt of the world ( matthew 5:13). This maybe a stupid example but if we are the salt…and the kingdom of God is the soup…and we have no flavour…than what good are we for the soup? I really hope you guys know where I‘m going. We need to show the world that we are diferent by doing good, because then we will stand out to other people in a positive way, and when they know that we are follower of christ that will shed good light on the kingdom of God. We don‘t do good to get saved, we do good because we are saved!

But why would we even want to be like the world? This world will end and everyone of this world will also end. We are not of this world, we are just living on this world. It is hard to not be of this world, it is hard to stand out,it is hard to be different, aspecially as a teen. But it will be worth it in the end. Would you rather gain the world but lose your life ,or would you rather lose your life for christ and gain eternal life (luke 9:23-26) ? We should live for him because he died for us. We need to take up our cross daily, we need to sacrifice him everything we are, we can‘t do that if we live in the pattern of this world ( galatians 2:20 and romans 12:1+2). Why would we want to be liked by the world if we can be liked by our creator? We should want to be liked by him (psalm 19:14). Everything we do should be for his glory.When we gave our lifes to christ he renewed our hearts and washed us clean from sin, only because of him we have a clean heart. That is why we should act form our good heart (luke 6:45).

i think we should be more horrified than we are of the fact that there are approximately 1000 christians left in gaza. a whole community is on the brink of extinction in the midst of an ongoing indiscriminate mass murder campaign.

the westernization of christianity has led to the total disregard of the danger and oppression that the palestinian christian community faces both in gaza and the west bank, which amounts in total to around 50,000 people only. to think that this is happening in jesus' birthplace while western christians proudly stand with israel in the crimes it's commiting against them is unfathomable.
