Samantha bought all the tables in a thrift store, painted them black w/chalk paint, sealed in gloss and accented in silver. The frames on the wall are fabric that she made pillows from, and there’s a dinosaur under the table on the left that she found at Home Goods and painted metallic green & silver.

The man I wanted to hire to paint my last room and do some makeover of my bathroom: Call me a week before this planned makeover.
Me, a week before my week off, taken specifically for this makeover: *calls three days in a row, sends a text message with necessary info*
The man: *no response*
Me: Okay, so I'll paint the room myself, I'll find someone else to do the bathroom.
---
Another man, selling roller blinds: I'll call you back with the date to measure the windows.
*six hours later, at the end of his workday*
The man: *still hasn't called*
---
Kiss my shapely butt then.

I forgot to say it when I first thought of it but El getting a makeover every season like
1. Mike dressing her to look "normal"
2. Kali and the gang dressing her to look "bitchin"
3. Max helping El choose a new look for herself
4. Brenner forcefully ripping her identity from her without permission once again
This is all why I think
5. She will be giving someone else a makeover.
Sure, she's probably also picking out stuff for herself, but ultimately she's helping someone else find themselves the way that max helped her. She'll be taken out of the "finding herself" role because she will finally be comfortable in who she is. So she's helping someone else do the same.
