⍣ Doesn't see the appeal of buying stuff that he can make for you.

⍣ Can make anything he puts his mind to - up to and including a teddy bear.

⍣ Would start out by searching for just the right kind of fabric (I think he'd use minky - so freakin' soft and cuddly and lasts forever and ever if you're good to it - a lot like love 🤔 - it's just insane)

⍣ Works out all the details, drawing out a pattern that he can pin fabric to, cut around the design, sew it together and add the finishing touches then stuff it.

⍣ Hand stitches the bear's arms and legs with an "X" pattern so it looked like "real" stitches, using a special type of embroidery stitch for its little eyes and nose (the nose would be pink and its eyes would be one of each of your eye colors).

⍣ Finally, it would be done a few days before the big first date.

⍣⍣⍣⍣⍣ THE DATE ⍣⍣⍣⍣⍣

⍣ Would pick you up on his bike.

⍣ Has an extra helmet (in whatever your favorite color was because he just so fucking thoughtful I can't stand it) and leather jacket for you if it was cold.

⍣ The reservation would have been made 2 weeks in advance - even though it's at Smiley and Angry's Ramen shop.

⍣ Took the little bear over there the night before because he wants it to be brought out with dessert.

⍣ Wants to impress you by walking in and saying "2 for Mitsuya, please *slips Angry some 💴 for the best seat in the house*.

⍣ Will offer you some of his dish (from his chopsticks/eating utensils!) and ask if you're sure you don't mind giving him a bite of yours, even after you shove it at him - he has 2 little sisters and knows how sacred food can be sometimes.

⍣ Waves at Smiley and Angry to signal he's ready for dessert and the handmade bear to be brought to your quiet little corner/window table.

⍣ Hands you the cuddly snuggly bear and the first thing you notice is not how soft the bear is, but how warm his hands are. You don't want to let go but he seems so proud of this gift that you take it from his hand and hold it close to your heart.

⍣ Tells you about how he made this design and bear specially for you, the fabric was special ordered and it was sewn/hand stitched by him (by the very same warm hands you didn't want to trade for).

⍣ Blushes when he points out the bear's eye color (he didn't even have to see you again or ask anyone what your eye color was because he remembered). You blush back when you tell him it's the first thing you noticed about it.

⍣ Gives you the first, middle and last bite of the cute little dessert the boys whipped up for you two.

⍣ Pays for EVERYTHING.

⍣ Asks what you want to do now - you want to just ride around on some back roads and cling to him - "Go for a ride?" you suggest instead of just prattling off the truth.

⍣ Was praying that you'd say that.

⍣ Smiled so hard when his prayer was answered.

⍣ Rides out to the near middle of nowhere and parks next to an empty field and lays out his jacket for you to sit on while you two stargaze and talk about your interests.

⍣ Catches you staring at him but plays it off like you two just looked at each other at the same time because he was staring at you once and he low-key hoped you wouldn't make a big deal out of it.

⍣ On the ride back to your house, at every stoplight or stop sign he will pat your hands that are wrapped so tightly around his waist and ask if you're "Doing ok back there?"

⍣ Feels his heart skip a beat or two when you just hold him tighter as he takes off again.

⍣ Walks you to your door and stands on the steps below your front porch while still holding your hand.

⍣ Kisses you between your first and second finger knuckle in such a manner that you're so wildly turned on by the gentleness of the gesture that you jump off of the steps and plant a huge kiss on his lips.

⍣ Smiles the whole way back to his place, vowing to never wash his jacket, his hand or his mouth again.

My favourite thing about MGG is his smile and sense of humour like.. that man has done more for my mental wellbeing than myself. Like if I’m feeling a little down, I’ll watch something of his or in random parts of the day I quote him.

My favourite ones are “do you ever get a little blue” god, I love these videos so much haha. It’s a shame that I got to this fandom so late if you understand me like I missed so much MGG from 2017 and onwards.

But yes, back to the first point. His smile is like E V E R Y T H I N G, you get his smile and then you get his big smile where his eyes just become brown orbs. Also, I love expressive people too, bc they are amazing to draw as well! MGG has such a large collection of expressive photos to use as reference. I’m hoping to find some and get to drawing him soon!

The other day I was talking with one of my best friends about MGG and I told her "I love him because every time I see him I want to smile."

But the truth is that there is something so endearing about MGG's way of being that just makes me happy.

His smile is so honest that my heart just goes "OPJKFDBHGFIJDSOQKXDCJVFHGIJEOKLQSKX?DJCNVBHFGIJEZKSQL?XDJCHBV", <- that's the closest to what is going on in my brain too.

It's weird but his whole being is just so soothing.

I've been in the Criminal Minds fandom for a long while now, without being really active, but I was there. MGG tho? I never looked into him more than for Reid until recently and I was just amazed. I wished I looked into it before because it's so sweet here and he is fabulous.

(and since I understood he dated Kat Dennings I just wished I was invested during that time because they were the ABSOLUTE COUPLE? Man for real- they would have been my couple's goal when I was a teen, that's for sure. They still are, even though she's married lmao. I'm sad I didn't look into him more at that time because I knew they were dating, I just didn't know him more than that :c )

It was roughly 10 hours before they were set to leave for Shiganshina to seal the hole in Wall Maria. The cadets were busy feasting in the dining hall and Levi just had to drag Eren and Jean off of each other after they get into some fist fight that he couldn't be bothered to care about.

Irritated, he stepped outside and leaned against the wall in the alleyway on the side of the building, breathing in the chilly nighttime air.

"Were you planning on hiding there all night?" he said quietly, looking further into the alleyway.

A shy look appeared on your face. Truthfully, you had just arrived at your spot, but you were also willing to wait all night for a chance to see him if you had to. You knew that he was going to be leaving in the morning for Shiganshina and that it would be at least a few days before you got to see him again.

You wanted to wait and see if you could steal even just a single moment with him before he had to leave.

You and Levi Ackerman had been friends since forever. You remembered him as a child and coping with his mother's ill health before she passed and he got taken away by who was now revealed to be his uncle. You remembered reuniting with him in young adulthood and escaping the Underground around roughly the same time, with you following a few weeks after he did.

The two of you had began exploring your feelings recently, only officially becoming a couple a few weeks ago. A lot of your relationship progression had been put on pause after things went to shit with Eren suddenly turning into a Titan, the attack on Trost, and the revelation of the false king and crowning Historia as the true ruler of the Walls. There was so much going on that you two rarely had a chance to sit down and talk about anything.

"I wasn't sure if you were with anyone else," you mumbled as you walked up to him.

"The brats are too rowdy," he muttered, watching you come out from the shadows.

Once you got close enough, he weaved his fingers between yours and you wrapped your other arm around his, resting your head against his shoulder.

The two of you stood in a comfortable silence, looking up at the stars while listening to the gentle hum of the Cadets talking from inside the building. It was oddly peaceful.

"Can I ask something selfish?" you spoke.

You felt him shift as he pulled back a bit so that he could look at you properly.

"Don't go," you whispered, as if you were afraid to speak.

He blinked at you a few times.

"I'm not going anywhere."

"No," you said as you shook your head. "I mean tomorrow. Don't go."

He shut his eyes as he took a deep breath. He knew what you were asking.

"I just have a terrible feeling that something is going to happen tomorrow at the Wall. So..." you said, biting on your bottom lip as your anxiety only grew as you were speaking. "Don't go."

You whispered the last part quietly, with your voice barely audible over the ruckus that was coming from inside the building.

Levi eventually sighed.

"I can't just dismiss my duties, dumbass," he muttered, glancing over at you, never taking his eyes off you as you shuffled around, trying to calm your chaotic thoughts about the potential of something happening.

You knew his work in the Scouts was dangerous, it was precisely the reasoning he used to convince you to not join the Scouts.

"I know," you said, looking down. "It's just..."

You paused, unsure if you should continue.

"I love you and I can't shake that horrible feeling," you said as you clenched your fists. "I can't stand to watch you go."

If this was any other time, your anxiety would've further spiked after declaring your love for him. It wasn't something you had discussed before—but right now, all you could think about was the fact that he was leaving tomorrow morning for his most dangerous mission yet.

Levi turned towards you to face you and gently lifted your chin to look into your eyes. His gaze was soft, but he remained silent. He knew what you were feeling and he understood it, but he meant what he said—he couldn't just abandon his duties.

He gently pulled you in and pressed his lips gently against yours, his grip on you tightening ever so slightly as reassurance.

An incredibly selfish part of you had hoped that confessing your love for him would be enough for him to stay and not go, but you knew that it realistically wasn't going to happen. He had to go. They wouldn't be able to retake the Wall without him.

He was silent when he finally turned around and walked away.

Levi knew what his duty was. His duty as Humanity's Strongest™ required him to be on their most important mission yet. Taking the Wall could very well determine humanity's survival. However, he'd be lying if he said that it didn't kill him to leave you behind.

Thus, when the time came and he stood upon that Wall as Erwin announced the beginning of their journey to Shiganshina, he couldn't help but notice that he couldn't spot you in the crowd. He felt an increasingly uncomfortable pressure building up in his chest.

Levi consistently told his subordinates to choose their own paths and to ensure that they don't regret their choices, but there was one choice that he found himself wishing he could redo.

After you declared your love for him the previous night, he found himself unable to respond. He didn't have the words to properly express what it was that was brewing inside of him.

The only thought running through his mind as everyone prepared to leave was that he wished he had more time so he could tell you that he loved you too.

You had a horrible feeling that the plan to seal the hole in Wall Maria at Shiganshina was going to be a disaster. You were right.

You perked up as soon as you heard a knock on your door. It's been a few days since you last saw Levi.

You found yourself afraid to open that door. You hoped it was Levi, but you were also terrified that it would be another Scout or someone from the Military Police that would deliver very, very bad news.

Your heart dropped once you finally opened that door.

It was Levi—but he was covered in blood. His cloak was ripped. He still had his gear on, but he had no blades in them. You couldn't tell if he was injured, but he was slumped over as if he had to forcefully drag himself to you.

Your eyes widened as you immediately scanned his body for any injuries, prepared to do what little you could to provide him aid.

"Oh my Walls, Levi-"

Before you could move or finish your sentence, Levi immediately wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a tight hug, squeezing you so tightly that it was almost hard to breathe.

He let out a shaky exhale as he buried his face into the crook of your neck. You were the first stop he had gone to after getting back to Wall Rose. You weren't certain what had happened, but you could tell that he was feeling defeated or tired (or both). He was worn out and exhausted.

You were quiet. You could tell that there was a lot going on through his head, and you weren't going to force him to talk about it. He just needed a safe space with you right now.

You noticed that he was slightly shaking and you tightened your own arms around him in an attempt to ground him. You gently ran your fingers through his hair in an attempt to provide what little comfort you could.

He tightened his arms around you as he brought up memories in his head over what had happened at Shiganshina. He thought about how so many had been sacrificed and would never be able to see their loved ones again because they died.

He found himself afraid to speak. He didn't think it was fair that he was able to go home and see you again while others couldn't, but he wanted to ensure that he didn't take it for granted.

He took an unstable deep breath, inhaling the scent of your hair as he finally spoke in a quiet whisper.

"I love you, too."

You called Caroline a white Bonnie, how so? Bonnie in my opinion had more of a consistent personality in the show. She was consistently written as a moral superhero for everyone. Caroline was whatever Plec needed her to be in the episode imo. A victim in one, a villain in another, one day she’s sleeping around with every man in the show (that’s an exaggeration, but yeah), the next day she’s slutshaming another girl for doing the exact same thing (Elena also slut shamed her for sleeping with/ being raped by Damon, even though Elena also sleeps around, so I guess it’s a running theme). One day she hates Klaus with all her heart, the next day she sleeps with him even though he killed her boyfriend’s mother. One day she’s a girls girl, the next day she’s a misogynistic mean girl. It really depended on what Plec thought was right for the plot of the episode. And am I the only one who thought that the Alaric/Caroline thing was off putting? Wasn’t he her teacher? Didn’t he date Elena’s surrogate mother AND her aunt? And so much more. And he admitted to having feelings for her, even though she was an adult at the time, it was… strange. And I didn’t like the plot line of her being pregnant with the twins without her consent. The forced pregnancy was just not my thing. Did she even give any sort of hint that she wanted to be a parent throughout the show? I don’t remember.

Okay, I’m free from work so let me break this down lol. This is long.

Not that I disagree with your thoughts on Caroline. I just wasn’t talking about her then. Tyler ends up dating Liv Parker in season 6, that’s his final relationship after Caroline. I agree, Caroline is just a self-insert for Julie turning her into whatever the show needs for that moment.

Penelope Mitchell/Liv was being set up to be Bonnie/Kat’s replacement since Julie admitted to wanting Bonnie permanent death to be in season 5. That tweet is still posted btw.

If Bonnie is no longer the resident witch and there are no more Bennett’s then of course the remaining witches are going to get the spotlight.

Tbh, the way tvdu fans ignore/ed Bonnie/Kat they wouldn’t have cared if she was fired to make room for another white and woman they found more desirable.

Candice has admitted that she found out she was pregnant called Julie and Julie from there rewrote season 7 to accommodate Candice’s pregnancy. Which tells you exactly how she feels on Kat getting full attention because Candice was not the last woman standing lol. Candice didn’t have to stop working I cannot stress this enough but she certainly was not the first woman to be pregnant onscreen and have the baby bump hidden.

Caroline never mentioned anything about children until that forced pregnancy. Alaric was married to Elena’s birth mother, then dated Jenna. Either way Calaric was a waste of time. Lmao.

White!Bonnie to clear up further confusions for you lol: are white witches who are abused for their magic or serve others but have agency. Ex: Freya her siblings, Davina with the NOLA witches or vampires, Hope’s a martyr for the Salvatore school, Liv is Bonnie and Rebekah mixed but even she didn’t want anything to do with magic because of what happened to her family lol.

Bonnie’s beautiful, compassionate, powerful, intelligent but she’s black. Not okay to be anything but white in tvdu. Instead of pushing Bonnie, the writers took these qualities and gave them to white and desirable women.

Book recs!! ✨

Hi! So a bit ago, I met a lovely amazing anon on ao3 (who is a BLESSING compared to the other mean anons commenting out there, thanks Kat, you make mine and im pretty sure other author's days too). So we got into talking about books and I offered to make a list for her and post it on tumblr so other people too can scrounge through so here we are lmao.

I gathered this list from the personal notes I had made to myself to add these books to my bookshelf when i move out and also from another list i made for my little siblings because no way are they gonna not read the good stuff I found. It's like a rite of passage now.

Just a note: I don't read romance. But since books don't have the very convenient tags we get on ao3, I end up getting to romance-y parts. The only romance books I have read are middle school level romance lmao XD Nothing except kisses and stuff lol.

The Maze Runner series

Maze Runner

I love this book. This series. Ngl, one of the first books where I felt that heart-clenching feeling of hurt. Love the characters, the world-building was in the fandom for a brief while and I love the plot too. Better than the movie plot anyway XD

Mare Runner: Scorch Trials

Second book in the series, also very good. Literally an adventure. So many twists and turns. Once more, the characterization is also amazing!

Maze Runner: Death Cure

Third and last book in the series as a main. Heartbreaking. Did shed tears. Page 250 still kills me. O u ch.

The Fever Code

Also in the same series and OUCH. It's the characters before the whole drama happened and they're kids and higehrfwb 😭 No kidding I was squealing and nearly threw the book multiple times out of excitement. It solved a couple plotlines too. I adored it. Plus, it gave me some closure from the many many (inevitable) deaths.

Crank Palace

It's a novella, but clears the mysterious gap that was in the third book. Plus, it gives much much more closure but I'm still crying so do what you will with that information. I love the new "OC"s here too.

Trials of Apollo

The Hidden Oracle The Dark Prophecy The Burning Maze The Tyrant's Tomb The Tower of Nero

Listen- listen- I know this is kinda obvious and you might be asking "where's the rest of the pjo series?" but that's a given. My personal favorites are the pjo, hoo and toa series, but toa somehow spoke to me more because the main relationship wasn't a romantic one like all the other teen books I read. I also adore Apollo/Lester's character development? Like, at first he was this carefree god, then at the end of the series, he transformed into a person who cared so much and so deeply and was willing to die for others. That is peak character development and if I hadn't read toa, I would still be blundering around and confused with my multi-chap fics as to how characters actually develop. Because you can see that journey so clearly in toa.

Jinx series

Jinx: The Wizard's Apprentice Jinx's Magic Jinx's Fire

I love this series so much??? I am a sucker for fantasy novels and this was so so good. I love the storyline and-

AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE FOUND FAMILY ASPECT HERE. THIS. IS LITERALLY RELUCTANT MENTOR-FATHER AND HYPER AND KEEN MENTEE-SON. AHHH.

Anyway, this was my first found family novel. I loved the whole storyline too, this was also the series where I was first introduced to the concept of whump (without knowing what whump actually was).

The Mapmaker Chronicles

Race To The End Of The World Prisoner Of The Black Hawk Breath Of The Dragon

These were also some of the first whump books I read. And I especially loved this because the plot was it. A smartass scrawny boy who accidentally turned into a hero? Hmmm, I wonder who that reminds me of. (Tim Drake. It reminds of Tim Drake)

But the characters are also special to my heart. There is minimal romance in here. Any romance is to move the plot forward.

Also a mentor-mentee relationship here. Not so much found family to the heart seeing as the main character already has family back home, but the whole crew definitely is a family of their own. I especially adore Ash! Ahhh! She's lovely and amazing. Oh and Zain- *sighs* he is the perfect mentor figure to scrawny li'l Quinn. And the hateable characters are so perfectly hateable!! The author truly is talented at stories.

This book was described in the reviews as "Harry Potter meets Alice in Wonderland" and it stayed true to its description. This... was one of the first mystery books I had ever read (my actual first was Sherlock Holmes cuz I found it on my grandparents' bookshelf and read it cuz I had read every other book they owned which wasn't a lot). I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. It was calm and just- a bunch of kids going on a perilous journey to solve a mystery to save the city. Those kind of vibes. But the vibes were so good. So enjoyable. Every time I hear about this series, I just sigh in contempt.

There are very, very interesting characters here too. The characters are what made the story so good. All of them have unique quirks which they use to crack clues and form conclusions and dive into actions. Such good characters. 10/10, honestly.

The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict

This is part of the Benedict society universe, but it takes place years before the main events. It has adventures of the leader of the group in the main series as a kid. This book has a special mention because the storyline was different to the style of the main series and it had tropes. Just- the friend and the character itself and- dnfhbevbiluw

Okay, I admit, Benedict here does remind me of Tim (my fav character in DC). Like y'know smol Tim with the camera? Those kind of vibes. Very strong vibes. I read this way before I discovered Tim even existed so maybe this book plays a part in my favorites?

Addie Bell's Shortcut To Growing Up

This book... brought me to tears. This was the second book that prompted salt water to slip out of my tear ducts. It was a strange feeling. Cuz I was not used to crying for books and movies and shows.

The plot just hit hard. A 12-year-old Addie magically time-travels to when she's 16 and experiences life as a teenager. The plot gives more than you expect. There are boys, yes, but that is a side plot, not a main plot. Which is why I love the book so much. Addie wants to be one of the "girly" girls who talks about boys and stuff and goes to parties like her older sister, but then as she lives the life of a teenager more and more, she realizes just how much she lost. Friendships, family, her personality, her interests, herself.

The part that made me cry was her missing her sister. Cuz, well, I'm an older sister. And my sister who is the oldest after me has the same age difference as Addie and her older sister. It wasn't just her missing her sister in that scene, it was everything crashing down on her that moved me to tears. Amazing book. If anything, I recommend you either read this or 'Better You Than Me' if nothing in this list goes towards your liking.

Better You Than Me

This was the first book that made me cry. It has two characters, one in middle school, the other who is an actress, swap bodies. So the typical middle school kid gets to live as a famous actress, and the famous actress gets to live as a typical middle school kid. Of course, neither of them end up liking their new life very much, but that only teaches them two important messages: appreciation and communication. God, I learnt so much from this book. I was like 13 or something when I read it and it resonated within me enough to make me cry. I adore this. SO much.

I Speak Boy

I actually have a library-borrowed copy with me right now XD It's about a middle school girl, Emmy, being very confused with the opposite gender. (Very much hetero, no homo despite it being published in 2021). But, once again, the reason I love this book isn't cuz of the romance (though it is kinda satisfactory but also a bit cliché). It's how the main character realizes that boys aren't everything. Just like in 'Addie Bell's Shortcut To Growing Up'. It's a lot about friendship.

The reason why I like these books by Jessica Brody (I haven't read the others yet) is because of the Bechdel Test factor in it.

Again you have another author's name. This time, it's Muslim fiction!

Love From A To Z

The first Muslim fiction book I've ever read. And yes, it is a romance book. But it does not have any touchy-touchy stuff (except in the Epilogue and a couple dream scenes, very vague though and only kissing). As in, the main characters follow mainstream Sunni procedures and do not touch each other as they're not married. Which just leaves room for a ton of emotional romance.

I adore this simply because I'm a Muslim Hijabi myself and I am very much biased.

It deals with so many aspects of romance though, like personality first, lust last, and whether they are the right fit or not and whether they actually like each other or the idea of each other and how families play into this and online hate and emotion control and of course, the marvels and oddities of life. It is packed with so much. And when I finished the book, I had a good long cry. This is the first book that made me cry the longest. Because- because I was starved for representation! And this book did it so well! I just- love this so much.

The author has published a sequel, Love from Mecca to Medina, I have yet to read it because I'm waiting for it to be in a library. I prefer physical copy books.

Once Upon An Eid

Okay, this is very Muslim-based, but if you treat it like Muslim Christmas, everything becomes clear XD Also, Ali wrote only one story here. This book is actually a collection of stories by different Muslim authors. And each story is so special. Many people don't really know how Muslims celebrate Eid or why it's so special (besides spiritual reasons) and what it looks like. This paints an accurate picture. And it contains most, if not all, types of Muslims celebrating Eid. Sunni, Shia, refugee, African, American, revert/convert, South Asian etc. So really diverse.

Saints and Misfits Misfit In Love

Very much love-centred, but also has very vague mentions of sexual assault/rape/non-con. Yes, in a Muslim community. It exists. A lot actually. But it's hidden and hushed down. Disgustingly.

But the first book addresses it and how a Muslim girl battles it. She's in love with a white boy, yes, but she doesn't give in to her white boy desires. Neither does she fall to a non-white boy, at least not fully.

Which is why I recommend that if you're reading the first book, you definitely, definitely read the second one along with it. Because I felt even though the ending of the first book was satisfactory, it wasn't satisfactory to me. But the second book was! Because at the end of the second book, Janna (the main character), comes to the conclusion that boys aren't everything. And even though there is a very perfect boy that fancies her and she fancies him too, she takes a breath and says that she isn't too focused on that. And I adore that. But she only comes to that conclusion after falling in love with many, many, many boys. I did get a bit uncomfy cuz romance just in general makes me uncomfy, its a personal thing, but I kept reading it cuz... Muslim fiction! Anyway, good book series. But I like Love From A To Z better.

Omg more characters! It’s time for the rest of the Tilley and Kri families. So these families are enemies cause of opposite political parties. And each of them have their own personal enemy from the opposing family. (Jared and Andrew are personal enemies, but I already posted about them so they’re not in this post). I’m still workshopping the Coffey and Ingles families so I’ll post them when I’m comfortable with their designs and personalities. This is the Tilley family AKA the villains of the story. (Andrew is the main villain but like I said I talked about him in the post linked above).

Guy with the hat: Morris Tilley (He/Him): Andrew Tilley’s uncle by marriage. This is the man who started the Tilley family along with his wife Lisa and he will not shut up about it. Married into the Tilley name, and then he and Lisa built their reputation amongst the dark reds (later leading to Mason and then Andrew’s crowning as king of the red kingdom). His entire life revolves around his family’s reputation, and he will do anything to uphold it. (This obviously includes very immoral things). (Also that candy cane is supposed to be an actual cane but gacha doesn’t have actual canes lmao).

Girl with the veil: Lisa Tilley (She/Her): Andrew Tilley’s aunt (his father’s sister). She is the mysterious woman of the Tilley family. She stays in the background and does the underhanded dirty work to keep them in power. Is basically like an underground crime boss. Has become very hardened and suppresses her emotions because of this.

Guy with brown hair: Mason Tilley (He/Him): Andrew Tilley’s father (Lisa Tilley’s brother). Former king of the red kingdom before abdicating the throne. Definitely the most insecure of the Tilley family. Even during his time as king his other family members outshined him. He gave up the throne to his son after believing he could do a better job. Never publicly announced this reason, and there are a lot of rumors as to why he abdicated.

Girl with blonde hair: Anna Tilley (She/Her): Andrew Tilley’s mother. This is where Andrew got his manipulation skills from. Anna likes to pretend she’s ditzy and dumb in order to lower people’s guards, but is actually the smartest member of the Tilley family. Has the most in common with Andrew, and is the biggest influence to his terrible behavior (even though the rest of his family still had a hand). And yes, Andrew is a total mama’s boy. Anna had the largest role in his life.

Now for the Kri family (woahhh Evie’s overprotective family. None of them will ever be as overprotective as Jared himself though).

Girl with black hair: Sydney Kri (She/Her): Jared’s wife and Evie’s mother. Very extroverted; a social butterfly. She’s probably the blue kingdom favorite out of the Kri family. Has a very bad temper though. Anger issues for days. These anger issues might lead her to do things she regrets later in the story 👀.

Guy with blonde hair: Arnold Kri (He/Him): Evie’s uncle by marriage. Tries to be a big politician like most of his family, but has a lot of social anxiety. Truly believes in his cause but doesn’t think he has the merits to be in the prestigious Kri family cause of his inability to publicly speak. Prefers cooking to politics though. Is passionate about cooking and uses it to de-stress.

Girl with brown hair: Mary Kri (She/Her): Evie’s aunt (Jared’s sister): A very classy and regal woman. But does she want to be regal? That’s the internal struggle 😎. She loves her family and firmly believes in the cause they stand for, but wonders if her privilege of being in a royal family is hurting blue systems. Sure, she like the rest of her family fights for blue system rights…but there are no blue systems in power…and she’s apart of that status quo by being in a red system royal family. The Kri family’s only blue system member can’t do anything politically, is hidden from the other kingdoms, and kept on a tight leash. “But it’s for her protection” she keeps telling herself. Is she a hypocrite?

Bnha S1 ep8 - yeah sue me I restarted from the beginning.

I've been so busy I didn't even have the time to continue where I left of and forgot which episode I was at so yeah I restarted binge watching from s1 😂

Anyways today's about ep 8 - "Katsuki Bakugo - Startline".

Deku Vs Kacchan 1 just happened (omg I'm never getting over this fight, I swear) and Kats has been feeling inadequate and inferior to almost everyone as he watched the rest of the fights happen when Deku was with recovery girl. Like the slap he took in the face from losing to the guy he believed was quirkless and useless (just a little pebble on the side road, like he says), man you feel the angst 😫

And then we get to Deku waking up, going back to class and noticing Kats is no longer here and what does he do? He runs throughout the school like a literal lovesick school girl to find him and if you're telling me Deku revealing his secret to Kacchan doesn't feel like a fucking love confession, prepare to fight shkdkdkdhd

The whole scene is so fucking romantic man, fucking sunset behind them, a few meters away in front of the school gate, Deku with a sheepish look on his face, come on, I don't understand how people see bkdk as like brothers or whatever other shit they can invent, are you for real?! 😳

Anyways, that whole scene is so fucking endearing man. Katsuki hears Deku calling him and he stops walking and is like "What?" Lmao yeah he's still brash and shit but he actually stops and listens (that is NOT the reaction if someone who truly doesn't give a shit about the damn nerd) even though he's getting pissed by the minute because what the fuck is that nerd saying?! 😂💚🧡 And Deku like "that's why one day I'll make this quirk my own and best you with my own power" and Katsuki's face shkskdkd 👇🏼

He's so confused it's hilarious 😂💚😂💚😂 more seriously, he's so wrapped into his bad feelings of inferiority and having lost to deku and shit, he can't even react to what Deku is saying and goes on a rant about how he's just getting started, "you won't beat me again!" (While crying like a cute little bitch shskkd).

I mean seriously, it's like those idiots are talking at each other but not to each other. (It's okay, we know they'll get there) "My words aren't really reaching you" kinda vibe, you know?

But honestly? I just love the fact that Deku fucking runs to find him and explains (though he fails miserably) that he wasn't tricking Katsuki. That's just how fucking important his relationship with the guy is (and yes, regardless of the fact that Kats has been bullying him in the past, tried to hurt him and actually did hurt him pretty badly during their training fight), Deku's view of Katsuki has never fucking changed and it fucking shows. "KACCHAN SUGOI!" SHSJJD

going back to that old conversation about tropes, i noticed you hadn't talked about true crime! i read 'the store' by hali the other day and it's so hard to find fics with that kind of proposal! and i was really intrigued by it. when i say true crime it's like… kind of different from mafia? i don't know how to explain it but i think you get my... point?

i haven't read many historical au and i'm also interested in them but so far i haven't been able to find many. i'm currently reading lacrimosa by @pennyelle (it's still in progress but that doesn't stop me from recommending it, right?) it's mafia au, i don't know if you like mafia…

one thing I've never seen, at least, is a fic in which it's not centered on and told by the main character, but rather a certain type of fic that's told from the other person's point of view, and I thought of that when I read yoongi's pov.

i don't read a lot of uni au. i don't know. i'm still figuring out why.

I actually don't like mafia au!!! I recently read Angel by @sailoryooons and it was FUCKING GREAT, but honestly, that story was more about Yoongi and Angel's relationship than mafia shit y'know? a LOT of the mafia stuff I've come across has very yandere tones and I'm sooooo not into that. I'd happily give it a go if it's not like that but it's not generally my first pick. I haven't read Lacrimosa but I will take a look, thank you!

I also am not into true crime! I am in the sense that I honestly love blood and gore and violence and shit, but the true crime industry/the popularity of true crime content kind of weirds me out and I'm not entirely comfortbale with how popular it is as a thing to consume? Idk if that makes me precious and pearl-cluctching, but regardless, I have veered away from it. BUT I have read The Store and I really liked it. I also loved watching Dexter (have you seen it???). I really like characters, actually like Yoongi in Angel, where they're like, Bad Guys, but not For You. For You they are the softest little kitty kat even though they could have anyone murdered within like, a minute, even if they had to do it themselves. It's my desire to be small and taken care of lmao. this bitch has been Independent for Too Long and now I need a violent maniac to keep me safe, satisfied, and taken care of 🤪🤪

Katarina had never commented on my fics before. I knew that she doesn't really comment. She hardly replies to comments on her own fics unless there's a question.

This is the most memorable for me. I never forgot this. I never forgot how she understood the stress I expressed in the author notes and how she went out of her comfort zone to tell me that she relates.

Im late to the game meaning I joined this bandwagon a few months ago. When i joined i automatically assumed Stas was dating Colby based on their interactions, always together in festivals and Europe, i even followed her and thought aww how cute. Then i saw what he was up to and people saying he was seeing so and so and i thought he was cheating and she was too blind to see. When i read everything on here i was shocked that they werent dating or even openly a situationship because based on stuff she said and openly told fans that was not a strictly platonic friendship. Only to then read he’s been trying to delete stuff about them, yikes.I learned about shea too but barely, but this girl left me with a bad taste. Sharing photos, locations with fans, details on his wardrobe and his likes. Umm yeah no thats a bit too obsessive for me. Then another user told me she was originally Kats friend and i laughed because i dont see that represented the way she represents knowing Colby.

then as time went on, shea started getting more and more questionable, in particular with how she treated other friends of colby's that were girls. for one, there are literal ss of her having a convo with fans in a gc where they thought andrea russett and him were together, and she outright told them that they couldn't be together bc andrea had a bf. mind you andrea never told her own fanbase about this guy until they broke up. so for shea to tell fans that info is fucked, imo. then shea would also like edits that would pin her against the other girl friends of colby and would make her seem like the better choice. she got called out for this bc she liked one that was rude about amber (right around the time he started chilling with her). she also liked some tweets, if i remember correctly, that were mean about her as well. and instead of coming out and apologizing, she told a gc of hers about it first, who then posted that message. but when that wasn't good enough, shea finally came out and was like "women should support women" and that she was sorry but… to this day still occasionally likes shit that pins her against other girls.

not to mention it is assumed that her fandom got spookybby's account suspended on insta bc she was supposedly dating colby at the time and i guess shea didn't like that. there was also this other instance that no one really talks about bc i think it got swept under the rug bc it happened to a fan that wasn't liked in the fandom. so there was this girl, i'll call her m, who was known in the fandom bc colby gave her a couple notices back to back and that was enough to start something. she also apparently had some dm convos with him. this was the same year as the catfish so basically, if you were a girl that got paid attention to by colby, you grew a following for some reason. i remember this girl got to like almost 10k followers if not more so. and she was young, like 17ish. so what happened is her """fans""" created an account on insta that shipped her and colby together. that account then messaged any account with over 1k followers to tell colby "hey m is turning 18 soon, can you message colby to fly out to where she lives and date her", or something to that effect. i even got the message which was kinda surprising. it was crazy, sure, but m always said she had nothing to do with it and it was just her fans/friends that did that on their own accord. after that, apparently this fan also claimed she was the girl colby was being seen around with for a week or two, only for all of us to find out it was just sam in a wig for jake's video where he pranked the fandom. however, i will say i never saw her claiming this, just ppl laughing at her when we all found out it was sam in a wig so… do with that information as you will. also jake even said in his video about a person having to go on private bc ppl thought it was her… and it was m that had gone private bc of this.

i say all of this bc you need to understand no one liked this girl. i had no negative feelings towards her, but i knew a lot of ppl that just outright thought she was a joke. so when she came out and said all of the shit that happened with her and shea, i don't think anyone believed her.

so according to m, there was ss going around of her saying that she was dating colby or planned to meet him, something of that nature. shea apparently commented under the post of one of these ss, and m reached out to her to tell her that those ss were fake and that she didn't say those things. shea left her on read. then a couple days later, m gets a message telling her that shea is in a gc talking about m, not saying nice things apparently. m reached out again, got left on read again. the cycle continues: shea is in a gc talking about m, this time saying colby and her don't like m and that colby/shea planned to address all of this in video. this time around m reaches out again, longer message this time, refuting the ss of her saying she's dating colby, and then asks shea why she can't just talk to her if she can go and talk to gcs about her. shea blocks m after leaving her on read yet again. someone posts part of m's dm to shea on twitter, shea responds by saying "idk who this person is" and that she's never talked to them before.

the INSANE part of all of this to me is all of this got posted on insta, and ppl tried to argue that shea would never talk about someone like that, colby would never talk to a fan underage (which grosses me out as to why yall would jump to the conclusion he was talking intimately with a minor instead of, you know, just being nice when they say they love him???), and that ss and screen recordings can be faked. okay, sure. you want to say all of that, that's fine. but m had PROOF shea had her blocked. showed a screen recording of it too. not to mention ss of shea leaving her on read. and back then you couldn't delete dms from ppl or unsend some. so she showed the whole convo, beginning to end, between the two of them; shea not responding and leaving her on read, only to them block her. even if you don't believe shea would do something oh so terrible as to use a gc to talk negatively about someone…. why would she block someone she's never talked to or heard of before??????

okay… i'm done now. idk why i needed to bitch about this but i think i'm just tired of both girls. like all of this for what? COLBY? like don't get me wrong, love the man. but… you're acting like teenagers, hell even arguing and making fun of some, bc of………. colby???????

AND ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, colby has outwardly said on multiple fucking occasions how he doesn't open up that often, he has trust issues, ect ect. both of these girls are some of the very select few that get to see a side of him that no one else does. and yet, that wasn't enough? you still wanted more even tho that's not what he wants? you're desperately trying to be in a relationship with someone that doesn't want anything to do with you like that????

“Care to explain yourself?” Levi finally broke the silence as he frowned at you. In truth, he knew why you were there and who you worked for, but he wanted to hear it from you. Although he knew that the information that Eld had dug up on you was undoubtedly true, there was a small part of him that hoped for a simpler explanation. “Explain what?” you scolded, looking directly into his silvery eyes. “I think you’re the one that needs to do the explaining. Why the hell are you chasing me around?” “Why the hell did you feel the need to run?” he retorted. You fell silent, knowing that Levi had a point. You didn’t have a good way to explain why you had to run without revealing the truth. You were trying to leave the vicinity after sneaking the toxin into Dimo’s drink. You could have simply told Levi that you had to leave, but the fact that you broke out into a sprint to get away from him meant that you were purposefully trying to get away. Levi was clouding your judgment. On any other day, you’d talk your way out of the situation, only resorting to running in life or death situations.  He scoffed upon seeing that you couldn’t come up with a good response, taking a step back before leaning forward towards you again. You shivered as you felt his lips brush up against your ear. “I know you poisoned Dimo Reeves’ drink,” he whispered into your ear and you felt your blood run cold upon realizing that he knew what you were there for all along. “Needless to say, your little assassination attempt didn’t go as planned.” You opened your mouth with your mind going at a million miles an hour to try to come up with a way to deny his accusations, although they were undoubtedly true. “You’re from [reader's organization that I don't have a name for yet], aren’t you?” he asked without giving you a chance to respond.  You were frozen in shock as you listened to Levi list off your first and last name and your position as an assassin for [reader's organization]. “Don’t ask me how I know,” he mumbled before stepping back so that he could look into your eyes directly again, “but I do.” You were much too aware of how he felt against you right now. That, plus the anxiety creeping into your body from realizing that he knew who you were all along, made it next to impossible for you to think.

spoiler alert, the next chapter opens up with him interrogating you by eating you out and not letting you finish until you confess (✿◡‿◡)

no duff duff will ever beat this. you had the suspense for weeks that dennis knew something that the audience didn't. the way it was delivered mid argument is incredible. the anger on dennis' face and the shock and horror on sharon's. it is eastenders at its best and i will love this forever

2. christmas 2005 - snowball fight

this whole christmas period is iconic. kat and alfie getting back together in the snow !!!! sharon and dennis finding out they’re having a little baby which is all that dennis ever wanted and sharon thought she could never give to him !!!! its so nostalgic for me, this episode is my comfort christmas episode and the fact it ended with all the characters having this massive snowball fight was just perfect

3. "you can't tell me what to do you ain't my mother!" "yes i am!!!" - kat and Zoe

this sl is starting on classic ee and i'm so ready for the reveal. the fact that this story wasn't even meant to happen, the producer just really wanted jessie to be on the show so they created this character story...iconic. the fact that the storyline started at the start of them coming into the show and built over time and hints were dropped constantly until the reveal and even then people didn't understand the gravity of it...its perfect

4. bobby killed lucy

when i tell you we spoke about this sl EVERY DAY in school. everyone i knew had a different guess. i said bobby for about a month before the reveal and even i was shocked. the fact it made national press speaks for itself really, it truly is such an iconic duff duff

5. tiffany's death

this was harrowing, i can still hear bianca's scream. the fact that frank was the one who killed her was genius by the writers; the way it was filmed is so raw, i love it. that last shot of the light in her eyes...beautiful. also sidenote when bianca came back and she'd named tiff after her i remember crying lmao

6. sharongate

literally one of the best reveals of all time. one of the most iconic soap storylines, EVER. the fact that its a drunk confession that gets recorded, and the fact that grant has zero idea, the way that he smiles when sharon talks about him and then she starts talking about phil and his smile fades...impeccable

7. grant and courtney in the airport

full disclosure, i was obsessed with this as a child. "he said if you didn't want it i could spend it on shoes" gets quoted on the regular by myself because i love this duff duff so much. the fact it was a julia's theme as well and we didn't see grant for another 10 years after that so its v special to me

8. christian and syed julia's theme exit

the first gay julia's theme I believe? it was so special to me that they got that, and i loved that it was happy and they literally went off into the sunset together. it's one storyline that will always have a piece of my heart

9. nigel telling clare that her mum's dead

this is one i watched for the first time a couple of years ago and although i wasn't attached to any of the characters, i had a soft spot for nigel and this scene absolutely shattered me. the fact that its silent is perfect. you didn't need to hear what he said because clare's reaction spoke for itself

10. stuart and rainie's exit

yes it just happened tonight but if you'd told me that when stuart came into the show, i would be sobbing my heart out at him leaving, I would've laughed in your face. they are perfect for each other in their chaotic way and i love them for it

what future careers do you imagine the euphoria characters have?

Oh gosh, this is really tough I feel like I given them a million jobs in my fics.

Rue- being sober lmao. I wish at least. I like the idea of her working with kids struggling with addiction and turning her own life as a way to help others I think. I can see her having a podcast where she talks to former addicts and it blowing up (among doing other things)

Lexi- I think she’ll still be a writer but it’s hard to say doing exactly what! I know she’s a SL self insert in a lot of ways so there’s many options for her. I can see Lexi going through many creative jobs that involve writing in one way or another, not just plays but maybe writing for tv, movies, journalism (hey jordy), book, etc. (esp since making a career off JUST being a playwright is basically impossible these days). She seems like the kind of girl who won’t have the same job forever, but they’ll all be in a similar field.

Fez- my man is a househusband at his core. The only kind of job I can see him having is starting his own business where he does things with his hands that ISNT selling drugs bc that’s all this man knows! I can see him running a dispensary but also I selfishly don’t like that only bc every dispensary I’ve ever been to has had rancid awful vibes, but it would make sense. Also I’m still delusional and think Fez would be a good florist/gardener but what do I know.

Cassie- her career should be going to therapy.

Maddy- she said she doesn’t want to work and I don’t want that for her either. Hope that works out for her. She’d probably be a Instagram influencer unfortunately.

Kat- I firmly believe that Kat is destined to be an erotic writer and it’s the filthiest stuff you’ve ever seen.

Jules- now this is where I wish we knew ANYTHING about Jules and her hopes and dreams, I feel like we don’t really know!!! She seems to be into makeup and fashion so I can definitely see that happening for her. She’s very much a GirlBoss so whatever she wants to do she’s gonna rise to the top quickly.

Nate- dead

Elliot- dead

Ethan- a working actor in the truest sense of the word. He’s the dead body on CSI, a bit part in some sitcom, on every AT&T commercial doing something so so so stupid like juggling phones. And while doing all this he does his more serious stuff in local theatre in LA or NY or Chicago. He probably gets his big break by being a reoccurring character on the next Parks and Rec. I want this for him.

CANDY:

CHOCOLATE SUPREMACY! Now, I pretty much exclusively eat high-end bittersweet/dark Fair Trade chocolate, although I can slum it with Lindt if I’m desperate but I really don't like giving money to companies unless they're Fair Trade. Bittersweet has always been the pinnacle for me.

As a kid, I was all about trading away the dumb sugary shit like Skittles, War Heads, Starburst, and Blow Pops, for more chocolate. The chocolate candies were ranked into a hierarchy…

TOP TIER, PREMIUM: Anything dark (Not common in Halloween candy but sometimes you could get lucky and get a Hershey’s Special Dark in a mixed bag, a Mounds Bar - for those outside of the US, Mounds is like Bounty but with dark chocolate, or someone cool would be giving away little Doves.) 

2nd Tier: Reese’s PB cups, Almond Joy (Bounty with Almonds), Junior Mints/Andes Mints, Skor Bars, Butterfinger and Kit Kats. 

3rd Tier: M&Ms (which could be bumped up to second tier if they were peanut butter M&Ms), Snickers, Nestle Crunch, Hershey Kisses and other plain chocolate that looked decent

4th Tier: Milky Way, Mars Bars, Twix and anything else heavily featuring caramel and nougat and bullshit that made it too sweet. Also off-brand chocolate like a random pumpkin-shaped thing.

5th Tier (LOSERVILLE): Tootsie Rolls, white chocolate (wouldn’t trade for this, but sometimes I was stuck with it)

Honorable mention: The few non-chocolate candies I would eat were things like Sour Patch Kids, Smarties (not the same as British Smarties, these were just sugar), Lemonheads, Fun Dip, Pixi Stix. This was like, the shit I would eat for energy on the night while I was trick-or-treating and would *sometimes* save/not trade away. Whatever I had of this would be eaten in conjunction with the 5th Tier Loserville "chocolate" and even sometimes the 4th Tier if there was a lot of it.

✨Important notes: ✨

A full-size candy bar, as opposed to “fun sized” ones that people specifically bought for Halloween, would result in said chocolate moving up several tiers. 

In accordance with my “Save the Best for Last” policy, I would consume this candy in reverse-order. Starting with the random shit, then up through the tiers and saving the Top Tier candy for very last. 

The downside to this was that it left the premium stuff vulnerable to thievery (by my parents) for the longest. This problem was mitigated by keeping all the candy in my bedside table, and also giving a Sacrificial Offering to them every week or so as tax in exchange for keeping their mitts off my system. 

Halloween candy generally lasted until well past Valentine’s Day, when the chocolate coffers were replenished, and that in turn lasted until past Easter, which, if I was smart about it, could last until the following Halloween. 

I hope this Dickensian answer was as fun to read as it was to write. (Probably not, lmao.) This weekend, I went to a friend’s house party dressed as Wonder Woman, and tomorrow, I plan to take Dr. Fluffernutter into my morning lecture dressed as a pineapple. (I figure The Lady With a Dog Dressed as a Pineapple is crazy enough and I don’t need an additional costume.) 🍍😜🎃💖🌈
